right now im reading the wolf of wall street and im amazed at how much of it is true... it amazes me how people can change from innocent, determined, and moral to fraudulent, lavish, and hedonistic over the course of a few years. the history of jordon belfort and the stratton oakmont fraud, along with the falling out of the crime and his accomplices, are akin to the APUSH scandals i learned about last year. “robber barrons”, as they would say of early 20th century industrialists and monopolizers. it is all so captivating to me.
