Soooooooo…. I failed my board exam… again (how many times does this make asdfghjkl). I knew the results since May and I wanted to draw but I couldn’t (kunware depressed charing)

Anyhow, I still want to extend my heartfelt thank you to @hphm-jeniferltheman and @yoselin-uyu for wishing me luck even though we don’t even know each other personally 🥹 ‘Tis my little tribute to you

YAY MANGA STYLE (I didn’t realize Jeniferl and Joshua are bun-buddies. Nina wants to try a bun too 😩)

dumb & dumber turns into babbling crybabies when they’re sad (they want to be alone but they would end up finding each other in empty corridors lol)

Nina sees Joshua like an older sister and finds her cool and is a fellow Charlie-simp lmao. They’re both talented in Potions.

I wanted to draw Joseph too but I suck at drawing guys so here’s a doodle. They’re both Slytherins, they have the same moles on the same place, and they’re chaotic together. Nina especially is a little gremlin.

Mmmmm yes I am once more back on my bullshit, this time for @yoselin-uyu

Footsteps scraping around the maze. That was the only sound Joshua heard as she turned what felt like the same corner for the fifth time. The only thing she’d really had to go by was the torch, and even then she felt skeptical. Give her a proper fight any day of the week, but this brain puzzle... URGH! Why was it that the challenge just happened to be something her nerd of a brother excelled at? All of this wandering and not knowing grated on her nerves. She sighed, trying to release the tension she’d built up when the torch suddenly turned purple, then red. “Shit...” Using the torch’s enchantment, she scanned the area and saw... A student like her? He was dressed oddly, wearing the slacks and tie of a Ravenclaw, but an unbuttoned grey dress shirt over a black t-shirt. The strangest thing were the goggles he wore, despite being inside this pitch dark labyrinth. “Strangest fear I’ve ever seen...” Joshua muttered to herself. “Yeah, but I’m not trying to be your fear.” Joshua paused, a little taken aback as the boggart smiled and flashed a small peace sign. “But the next guy, he’s trying to be your fear. Spiders, right?” Joshua flinched a little, at the mere mention of spiders. “Wouldn’t you like to know, boogey man.” The student sighed and shook his head. “If I wanted to make you scared, I would. I’m just here to help you. I know a trick that’ll keep you safe. Where you can walk past the boggart blocking the intersection. I’ll just swap your fears with the person closest to your heart.” Joshua stared, stupefied and then laughed, wholeheartedly. By the time she’d stopped, the boggart who’d been talking with her was nearly doubled over in pain. “Sorry about that Spooky, but I’ve never heard of a friendly boggart.” The boggart frowned and coughed. “Well, you harming me aside, I just want out of this infernal maze. The sooner, the better.” Joshua did have to admit, the idea of getting out of these tight corridors was appealing. “And this isn’t some trick? Like it’s not gonna be my fear is still spiders and I’ll get disqualified?” “The only fear the other boggarts will be able to see is the fear someone else holds.” Joshua nodded thoughtfully as the bloody light painted the boggart’s clothing in a deep crimson hue. “My brother. The two of us share everything with each other, so it’ll be a snap.”

The boggart’s eyes (what little Joshua could see of them behind the goggles) widened in shock. “I must warn you, what you see may shock you. It may not be something you’d enjoy seeing.”

Joshua smirked, cocksure of herself. “No backing out now, Spooky. Let’s get this challenge done with already!” The Boggart sighed and shook his head, then smiled. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you, Bennet.” Before Joshua could say anything, the Boggart clapped his hands together and a bright flash of light blinded her before she found herself at an intersection. “Huh, so Spooky wasn’t lying. Guess I owe him an apology-” “You’re sure she’ll believe me?”

Joshua’s head perked up and looked around. The torch once more turned red as her brother came into view, walking astride one of his bullies from their youth. “Relax, Joseph. You’re sister’s dumber than a sack of bricks. Besides, all that’s happened is that she’s locked in an old room. What’s the worst that could happen?” “Her finding out! Do you know what’ll happen if she f- AH! H-hey! Joshua! Wh-what are you... How...” Joshua stared at her brother as the old childhood bully slowly morphed into a giant spider. The two stared at each other until the boggart finally left, both torches flickering a pale ghostly blue over the both of them. “Joshua, lemme explain-” “You’ve said enough... you SNAKE!” Joshua quickly lashed out a punch directly into Joseph’s face before racing off in a random direction. Damn the torch, damn this game, damn her brother. She needed to leave. All she could think of were the words reverberating in her head

“Don’t say I didn’t warn you, Bennet.” Joseph stared towards the darkness, calling out before the torchlight vanished from sight. He then smirked, standing up and dusting himself off, before his form once more shifted back into his standard ‘Hogwarts Student’ guise. “Well well, that took surprisingly well. You certainly owe us one for that kind of stunt, Rakepick. You’ll owe us one indeed.” The Shadow chuckled to himself as he started down the hall. He’d still have plenty in store for the Gryffindor Bennet before the challenge was done. So much more indeed.
