|🩷| Joseph is a person with a large amount of attachment issues due to his childhood. He finds himself growing more attached to people than he should, and doesn’t take loss well. This is apparent in your relationship at Least at the beginning. He will constantly need reassurance that you won’t leave him.

|🩷| He loves giving gifts, something that he can see you wearing preferably. The way your face lights up when he gives you gifts is something that never fails to put butterflies in his stomach.

|🩷| When it comes to receiving, words of affirmation make him fall even harder than he already has. Things as small as “I love you” will cause him to blush.

|🩷| When he’s intoxicated, which happens quite often, he’s much more easily flustered than normal. He’s unable to play it cool when he’s in a state like that, and will often end up silent with a dumb little smile on his face.

|🩷| He loves giving you pet names! Things like “Cherie”, or other French words of endearment are typically his go to. Occasionally, he’ll slip in a “dear” or two as well.

|🩷| If you were to give Joseph pet names, he’d act like he hates it up front, but the silly little smile on his face definitely tells you otherwise. Calling him things like “pretty boy”, “darling”, or other endearing terms are the ones that evoke the biggest reaction.

|🩷| Joseph’s not a fan of heavy pda. He prefers to keep things “classy” like how he was raised. Things like hand holding are fine, but kissing (like mouth to mouth.. cheek kisses are fine) is pushing it a little too far.

|🩷| In private, he’s among one of the more affectionate people in the manor, especially when drunk. Joseph longs the embrace of another person, as it fills the hole in his heart that was left after his brothers death. Depending on who you are as a person, he may or may not be the one initiating this.

|🩷| In terms of big spoon and little spoon.. Joseph can swing either way, which does like many other things depend on his level of sobriety and emotions.

|🩷| When he’s big spoon, you can bet that he’s going to have you held as close to him as he possibly can, though he tries his best not to crush you. Sometimes you’ll catch him playing with your hair absently. If you bring it up, he’d be flustered and may stop doing it for a while.. so choose wisely.

|🩷| When Joseph is the little spoon, he loves being held tight as he holds you sometimes. You’ll often find him with his head resting on your chest so he can listen to your heartbeat.

|🩷| You can borrow some of his clothing, but Joseph would much rather have some clothing custom made so they can fit you better. He has the money to spoil you, so why shouldn’t he?

|🩷| That in mind.. Joseph probably borrows lots of your clothing if he can fit into it. Even though he can make some of the most expensive clothing out of anyone in the manor, he finds himself feeling much safer when in your clothing

|🩷| Despite being as charming as he is, Joseph doesn’t have much romantic experience, and likely doesn’t know quite what to say or do yet in terms of dates.

|🩷| If you asked him though, Joseph would say his favorite place to go on a date would be the gardens. He loves flowers, and loves you even more.

If only he could get a photo of you amongst them.

joseph is and always has been a huge romantic he just can't help it okay?? you have him making up date plans in his head and making you presents and thinking of ways to make you red in the face the next time you two meet

(also if it isn't obvious already this man loves to plan. even if we're talking dating and relationships)

and obviously there are gonna be french pet names in play!! he's literally uncontrollable, he's so in love with you and just can't help it okay

he LOVES the idea of him whispering you sweet nothings in french as he holds you tight and you just pulling him closer to his chest... AND the idea of him writing you french poetry and your fingers slowly tracing over the foreign words and phrases, imagining them being softly cooed into your neck

...and all those plans are sent directly to hell during one cuddling session

as he pulls you closer to his chest, he whispers out:

"je suis folle amoureuse de toi, mon ange"

and you, uncontrollably, reply back:

"je t'aime plus, mon beau"

he suddenly jumps up, flustered and red in the face

like that was NOT according to the script to his head 🤨🤨🤨 but uhm who is he to complain

I was wondering what you would think would happen if Joseph's s/o didn't exactly agree with camera world/him wanting to be immortal? because it obviously seems like he is striving to especially immortalize his loved ones. do you think his fear of death would cause problems in the relationship or anything else would arise due to this? |🎀| Joseph is a man heavily influenced by the loss he has experienced throughout his life, and he couldn’t bear to lose you like everyone else, hence, he shares the concept of the photo world with you

|🎀| But when you make your intentions clear you have no interest in being preserved, his anxiety ramps up tenfold, though he’ll try his best to avoid showing it.

|🎀| Quickly becomes more protective of you, because he knows that he cannot keep you safe in his photo realm, no matter how much he may want to.

|🎀| Thankfully (for the both of you)- it’s quite hard to actually pass in the manor, though Joseph’s irrationality would get in the way of that fact.

|🎀| Joseph would probably be hurt by the fact that you don’t support his efforts to preserve the lives of others for two reasons. The first is that he is genuinely blinded by his trauma and believes he’s doing what’s best for everyone, and that it would be the best for you. The second reason is that he’s terrified you’d see him as a murderer and leave him like many other people had done in the past.

|🎀| He’s always been plagued with nightmares, though after the confrontation, he’d have more and more frequent nightmares, specifically of losing you and being unable to do anything, like what happened to Claude.

|🎀| Joseph may want to immortalize you, though he couldn’t bring himself to betray your trust. He has lacked a sense of security in his life since he was young, and you provide him that security he so desperately seeks out.

|🎀| If you return from a match injured, he’d be quick to find out who it was and shoot them no small amount of looks.

|🎀| That is.. after panicking over you of course.

|🎀| If it’s a little injury, such as a scrape or some bruising, Joseph would likely be a little tense and immediately try and bring up the idea of the photo world again, and would become dejected when the idea is declined.

|🎀| But if it’s a large injury, something severe, he’d be inconsolable, panicking and trying to get your permission for him to photograph you.

|🎀| The worst is when you’re sick, especially after the whole photo world debacle. Joseph is very self sacrificing by nature, and would destroy his own already frail health in an attempt to help you.

|🎀| However, there’s always the chance he’s gone against your wishes (if he got desperate enough) and taken your photo anyways, that way he could save you if you needed it.

He says it in the most serious tone ever. He does laugh a little afterwards though so 👌

Brooke cocked her head to the side and quickly looked back at Eli for confirmation for what you just said. His face was dead on in your direction, so she just took it as, "Go with the flow."

Norton

"No? I love you."

Would get emotional because he thinks you're gonna friendzone him, or worse, reject him.

Once you explain that you're not that great at wording and you just wanted to accentuate what your saying into shorter terms, Norton finally understands that you're not directly telling him you dont share the same feelings.

He though you were making fun of his confession for a bit a first

"So, do you, 'like like' me too?"

Naib

Um, I think so?

"I do like you Y/n, but it's far greater than 'like like'."

He also thinks you're gonna friendzone him.

He tries not to question you as this is a serious moment and he doesn't want it to be more awkward as it already is.

But he caves and asks you what you mean by 'like like'. You explained it to him and Naib thought it was one of the most dumbest ways you could try to say attracted.

"Why couldn't you have said romantically attracted?"

"Well, because, uhhh idk cause it was easier."

"Omfg..."

He still loves you, he just looks at you as a bit dumber than he thought (Not like that changes his feelings about you. Naib loves that you're a bit aloof and will cherish you everyday of his life no matter what)

William

"Yes! I do 'like like' you!"

Got the memo very quickly. 1 shared braincell moment.

Likes how you two get along so well! He thinks that you basically said that you liked him as much as he likes you, so strap in and hold on bc you're in for one hell of a ride.

Ganji

... He doesn't understand

"Like like? Is this a joke I haven't been told of???"

You explain it to him and he's greatly relived. He really thought he embarrassed himself there and lost the chance with you forever.

He's used to your way of talking, but he just got so nervous while confessing that he just freaked. Ganji's mind ran through so many scenarios and mishaps when you said that.

"Oh *ahem* then, I guess I do 'like like' you..." (He's blushing and looking away shyly as we speak >\\\<)

Kevin

Yes yes yes yes yes

Very much same energy given. Kevin loses his flirty persona and gives you genuine reactions.

Dw he's still a smooooth cowboy; All he wants to do is to show you the true authentic side of himself before you go on thinking he's just trying to hit on you even harder.

Andrew

You explain to him through his nervous babbling. Once he's got it, Andrew is gonna just be sitting there a bit dumbfounded.

You're the only one he really trusts and ultimately loves, please dont hate him from now on.

Luca

He answers you how you expect him to. Straight to the point and unfiltered as per usual.

Luca is so happy you understand him and his vibes! He knows you're only making sure, so he's gonna give you exactly what you want! Just give yourself something back in return!

Antonio

Erm, sure why not

"Yes... of course I do."

He thinks you're so cute when you're aloof. Your questioning makes him want you even more.

Antonio wants to lure you to him as to gain your trust. He doesn't need anymore running from you.

Be careful if you do try to turn the other way, he's quicker than you think.

Wu Chang

Xie: uhhhh, yeah, we do like you a lot :)

Fan: We love you? What is this 'like like' nonsense???

Xie hits Fan as a signal to follow his lead. Xie tries to lure you in by being compliant and nice just like Antonio.

Fan likes you being a bit of an airhead, but sometimes during serious moments like these, his patience gets quite low.

"Fan, don't you 'like like' Y/n too?"

"Tch, yes. I do 'like like' Y/n."

"I'm glad that's settled. Now Y/n, I wonder if you 'like like' us?"

Joseph

He loves how you make up these funny little terms. It's interesting.
