Sadly not more ninjago content uh this is something else
My brother in law Mortaza who is a France-Afghan journalist has been wrongfully accused of spying on T*liban and now they've put him in jail even though he has done nothing wrong. He's one of the sweetest people I've ever met and he's been gone for months now, please if you can sign this petition and even if you can't please reblog this or tell others.

On World Press Freedom day America still acts as if they are a beacon of democracy and cares about press freedom while they try to extradite and prosecute a journalist by the name of Julian Assange.

Martine Croxall: France is clearly divided, what does Macron do about that?
Marc Roche: I think France has never been so divided. Generational the young voting for Le Pen, the old and middle-aged voting for Macron. it's regional; north and east where you have old Industries and difficulties of reconversion for LePen while the south and the west where you have high tech and services voting for Madron. it's social; you have the pro LGBT and the "me too" the French version voting for Macron and the practical and the traditionally Catholic voting for Le Pen so it's divided.
More importantly it's pushing Macron (when)first round the left doing so well. It's pushing Macron into a place that is not favourable to him which is the centre left he is basically a right wing(position) regulation, decrease in retirement and so on. And that will mean that he will have to focus much more on internal affairs and on the question of immigration and all that then rather than his favourite patch which is foreign affairs.

You just know the NYT has a “style guide” for this sort of thing.
Maybe someone there should get fed up and leak it.

Tehran sanctions DW Farsi for coverage of Iran protests
youtube
Iran added the Farsi service of DW to a list of sanctioned institutions and individuals on Wednesday. The latest sanctions also included two German companies and two editors at German newspaper Bild. DW is Germany's international broadcaster. Its Farsi service operates from Bonn, Germany. Iran's Foreign Ministry announced the sanctions in a statement, accusing those listed of "supporting terrorism." Those sanctioned are subject to a travel ban and any property or assets in Iran would be confiscated. Iran often describes protesters as "terrorists." Iran has been gripped by nationwide protests since the death in custody of 22-year-old Kurdish woman Jina Mahsa Amini on September 16. DW Director General Peter Limbourg said the sanctions would not affect the organization's coverage of Iran, "The fact that we appear on such a list now will not stop us from providing our users in Iran with reliable information."
