------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You stepped out of the car, the crisp winter air biting at your cheeks as you and Lando arrived at his family's home for Christmas. The air was filled with the scent of pine and anticipation, a light blanket of snow covering the ground, making everything seem like a scene from a holiday card.
The crisp winter air carried the scent of pine and cinnamon as Lando Norris, the Formula 1 driver, and you, his radiant wife, made your way to Lando's family home for a magical Christmas reunion.
With beautiful snowflakes dancing around you, you approached the door adorned with lights, nestled amidst a snowy landscape, adorned with twinkling lights and wreaths.
Lando squeezed your hand gently as you walked up the front steps, his smile warm and infectious. He was excited to introduce you as his wife and share this special time with his family, especially with a little one on the way.
The house was adorned with twinkling lights, a magnificent tree standing proudly in the corner, adorned with colorful ornaments and tinsel.
Laughter echoed through the halls, and you were immediately enveloped in a flurry of hugs and greetings from Lando's family.
As you entered the cozy home of the Norris family, the warmth of festive cheer enveloped the two of you. Lando's family greeted you with open arms and infectious enthusiasm.
His mom, a bundle of joy and warmth, enveloped you in a tight hug, her eyes shining with happiness.
"Welcome, both of you! Oh, look at that bump," she exclaimed, gently placing a hand on your growing belly, a gesture that made Lando beam with pride. His mother adored you.
Your pregnancy bump, adorned with a festive ribbon, was immediately ushered to the comfiest armchair by Lando's mom, who insisted she would take it easy while the others bustled around, preparing a lavish Christmas feast.
The day was a whirlwind of festive activities. Lando's nieces and nephews eagerly showed you their handmade decorations, each one proudly displaying their artistic skills.
Lando, ever the mischievous one, snuck behind you and whispered silly jokes in your ear, making you burst into fits of laughter. He could be serious if he wanted to be, but you liked him better this way.
Amidst the joyful chaos, you found yourselves in the cozy kitchen, where Lando's dad, an expert in culinary delights, was concocting his famous Christmas dinner.
The aromas of roasting turkey and spices filled the air, and you couldn't resist stealing a bite of the freshly baked cookies cooling on the counter, you were allowed, I mean you were pregnant.
As the day drifted into evening, everyone gathered around the fireplace, cups of hot cocoa in hand. Lando's sister, armed with a guitar, led the family in singing classic Christmas carols.
Lando, ever the enthusiast, joined in, his voice blending harmoniously with the melodies, eliciting smiles and applause from everyone. He truly was an angel, your angel.
Later, you found a quiet moment with Lando by the glowing tree, the twinkling lights casting a magical aura around you both. He wrapped his arms around you, pulling you close, and whispered,
"This is perfect, isn't it? Spending Christmas with you and our little one on the way."
You nodded, feeling a surge of emotion as you rested your head against his chest.
"Absolutely perfect," you whispered back, your heart swelling with love for this man and the family you were becoming a part of.
The evening ended with exchanging heartfelt gifts, laughter, and embraces. Lando's mom pulled you aside, handing you a beautifully wrapped box.
"For the little one," she said with a knowing smile, her eyes twinkling with excitement.
It was a beautiful little necklace with Norris been standing on it. You knew that either bean would be a girl or a boy, she or he would appreciate and love the lovely gift.
As you and Lando drove back home, the moon lighting the snow-covered landscape, you couldn't help but feel a profound sense of gratitude and happiness.
"I love you, Lan. I hope that we can spend a thousand more Christmas together."
"I love you, angel."
"And I love you, bean," Lando added and gave your bump a little kiss, as he stood at a red traffic light.
The day had been filled with love, warmth, and the promise of new beginnings. And as you both nestled into each other's arms, you knew that this Christmas would be a cherished memory forever etched in your hearts.

Merry Christmas, Darling
Tumblr media
Word Count: 1,200 (Tiny for me, but I haven't written in almost a year so forgive me.)
Summary: Ominis is going to miss you over the holidays. || Ominis Gaunt x reader|| Hurt but with plenty of comfort.
Warnings: This is as fluffy as a good sweater.
In the eyes of Ominis Gaunt, Christmas was a complicated thing. He loved it. Truly. Though, he'd never actually had one until he was eleven years old - when Anne and Sebastian Sallow invited him to their uncle's cottage in Feldcroft. They asked him to be there, they told him all these stories about how muggles celebrate the holiday, and their modest Christmas dinner was the best thing he'd ever tasted. The whole house felt so warm.
And...
They gave him gifts.
No one had ever done that.
He hadn't had anything for them that first time, but they told him that was alright. Of course, he had remedied his ignorance every year afterward and for three more blissful years, everything was perfect.
Until fifth year, when Ominis' only Christmas gift was comforting Anne through her nightmares – frightful visions of a goblin disemboweling itself in front of her. And her brother's manic grin.
Ominis was sixteen now, and Sebastian was gone. Anne was too.
In all his time at school, he'd never gone home for winter break and he didn't intend to now. Even if he had nowhere to go instead.
Because you were leaving him too.
He'd be, once again, alone.
You'd be going home to your own family to spend Christmas surrounded by love and warmth. Not that he wasn't happy for you, he was! But you wouldn't be with him.  It wasn't your fault. You'd begged your parents to let him come along.
But why, oh why, would they ever approve? How could they possibly want him – a Gaunt – in their household?
"That family has a reputation, Y/N." They'd said.
Well, they were right. And he was bitter. And he was sad. And he just wanted to spend Christmas with you. Why was that too much to ask?
He heard you sigh next to him. The sound brought him back to reality. You hadn't left for home yet. You'd leave in the morning. For now, however, you were curled up against him on the sofa in front of the fireplace in the Slytherin Common Room. The flames crackled and roared and he so adored the scent of pine and applewood burning. You hadn’t left him yet. He could still feel you.
Your cheek against his shoulder. Your hand in his. You smelled like peppermint.
“I wish you could come with me,” You whispered. And you didn’t say you wished you could stay. Because you loved your family and he was so happy that you did. He wished he had the same luxury.
“As do I,” He said. He tried to smile.
“I’ll miss you.”
“I hope you will.” He knew he’d miss you so much more.
He felt you shift, resting your forehead against his arm now, stroking from his forearm to his hand. You drew in a breath.
“Greeting cards have all been sent… the Christmas rush is through. But I still have one wish to make, a special one for you.” The tune was slow and you sang it so softly. He’d be the only one in the common room to hear it. You didn’t have the most beautiful voice he’d ever heard, but in that moment, you sounded like an angel. Ominis squeezed your hand tighter.
“Merry Christmas, darling. We're apart, that's true. But I can dream, and in my dreams, I'm Christmas-ing with you.”
“That’s a very nice thought.” He interrupted, unable to stop a smile from tugging at the corner of his lips. You laughed and kept singing.
“Holidays are joyful. There's always something new. But every day's a holiday. When I'm near to you.” He ducked his head and blushed, and not just a little bit. See, you were one of those people who never said a word you didn’t mean - unlike him. You were always so sincere.
“Oh, how flattering.”
You kissed the back of his hand.
“The lights on my tree, I wish you could see. I wish it every day.”
“Why would I need them when I have you?” He murmured. As if you weren’t doing enough, you leaned in to kiss his cheek. You were warm. You’d take your warmth with you.
“Logs on the fire fill me with desire to see you and to say that I wish you Merry Christmas. Happy New Year too. I've just one wish on this Christmas Eve. I wish I were with you.”
He couldn’t take it anymore. He stood up abruptly, grabbed your soft, warm hands, and pulled you up against him. You were wearing his sweater. It was far too big for you so he had to go searching for your hands in its sleeves, but he wouldn’t have it any other way. One arm around your waist, yours around his neck, your hand in his.
“Dance with me?” He breathed. “Just once more… before you go.”
And sure, you wouldn’t be leaving him forever. But it would feel like longer.
You laughed that sweet laugh of yours and he knew that if he could bottle the atmosphere around them, that emotion on his tongue would keep him warm through the winter. He held you tighter, trying to memorize every inch, every layer of your scent. There was peppermint, and cinnamon, chocolate, and pine. He loved it all. You smelled like the only home he had left. When you were gone, your scent was all he’d have of you. Your family was poor as dirt. Ominis didn’t care, but your parents wouldn’t allow you any money to spend on him of all people. You were the only gift he wanted now anyway. Your presence alone was too much to ask, yet you gave it so willingly.
“Logs on the fire fill me with desire to see you and to say that I wish you a Merry Christmas. Happy New Year too. I've just one wish on this Christmas Eve, I wish I were with you.” You stood up on your tip-toes to whisper to him. Your hand found its way into his hair. “I wish I were with you.”
His breath hitched and what was a dance collapsed into a longing embrace. He held you as tight as he could, burying his face in your shoulder. Though he wasn’t one to be so cavalier with expressions of emotion, he couldn’t help but dip his head to nip at your collarbone. The mark he knew he’d leave wasn’t for him. He just… didn’t want you to forget, was all. And he had to leave more kisses - a trail of them along your perfectly smooth throat. He hoped the taste of your skin would keep his cheeks burning through the January freeze.
You were the one to kiss his lips. When you pulled away, you placed your hands on his cheeks and rubbed your nose against his.
“Merry, Merry, Merry Christmas…” You whispered.
He sighed.
“Merry Christmas, darling.”
That sweater of his that you were wearing… after wishing you farewell at the train station, he’d find it folded on his bed when he got back. It smelled like you. A note in Braile accompanied it.
“To keep you warm until I return. Wear it. (I cast a preservation charm on it this morning.)”
He did wear it. And your scent on the wool didn’t fade until you returned and tugged it off him.
This fic is dedicated to @witchcraftandgeekness for telling me to f#ck everybody. Not in the sexy way.

Chan
He first heard about your music through a friend.
He was instantly hooked
He practically loved every single song you wrote and released
Chan was definitely a committed fan too
He'd follow all your social media just to stay updated on everything you were doing
Nothing creepy. Only to stay informed of course
If you had a fan meeting? He would totally be there. Even if it meant dragging a friend along with
A concert? He will be there just to support you
Chan simply loves anything you do. Whether it be the way you eat or talk. Everything just seems so... Perfect
Now, as a fan, Chan knows he shouldn't get too attached but its been difficult to say the least
Ever since that one encounter with you, Chan couldn't help but get a little excited at the thought of you
It was your 5th fan meeting. You were happily greeting fans, receiving their gifts or compliments like a complete professional. Chan stood in line, excitedly tapping his feet. He held a paper bag(that was your favorite color) with loads of gifts in them.
The line moved quite slowly but Chan didn't mind. If it was to see you, he'd wait a century. The closer he moved though, the more excited and nervous he became.
Finally, it was his turn to meet you
You happily greet him and he greets back. You spark up a little conversation by complimenting his outfit. Chan compliments back, saying how he admired your outfit too.
Chan revealed all the presents he bought for you. You were extremely surprised by how many things they were. Your staff can along, taking the gifts and placing them with the others
"You didn't have to buy all that stuff you know" You laughed. Your smile caused a light pink to spread across Chan's face. "I don't mind. You really inspire me and make me very joyful. It's the least I can do" Chan grins confidently. You nod, signing the poster and album he brought along
"Well, thank you so much. It's really amazing that I get to make fans like you so happy. It makes me happy. Don't stop smiling for me, alright? " He never forget those words. He never forgot his promise to her. He smiled, whenever a smile needed to be present.
Chan sometimes wonders if you remember him. It is unlikely. You do have millions of fans everywhere all around the world. Meeting you was enough for him though. It was just enough.
Minho
He was just scrolling through YouTube one day when he came across on of your music videos. With 93 million views?
He felt that was a little much but who knows maybe it wasn't bad.
Minho was wrong though. It wasn't just bad. Your music was 𝘢𝘥𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨. He felt like he just found a drug and you were the dealer.
He tried not admitting how much he actually liked your music but failed
The posters on the walls aren't there for nothing obviously
He loved your dance style. It was so clean yet fun. He'd spend hours in his room just watching performance videos and trying to master your dances
Minho was intrigued by your stage presence more than anything. You captivated the crowd with just one look. You definitely had a way with face expressions and emotions
His room was filled with different types of merchandise. From posters to photo cards to albums to hoodies and even more
With all the merch though, it was hard to keep his little obsession a secret. And not because he was embarrassed. He just didn't want people getting all nosy with this one little interest. It was his and his alone.
One moment he won't forget was that one live he watched
Minho wasn't particularly feeling well that day but luckily you were on the rescue. You decided to go live and just ramble about whatever has been happening. Nothing special, which Minho didn't mind. He just loved your voice.
Minho was slightly bored. He deciding on commenting something. It's not like he was hoping for you to see it. He typed out something sweet but simple: 𝘐𝘮 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘣𝘢𝘥 𝘵𝘰𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘷𝘰𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘴 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘦𝘳. He read through the comment before sending it through
You, on the other hand, we're reading through the comments until one caused you to raise your eyebrows and smile. "I'm feeling really bad today but your voice makes everything a little brighter" You read.
Minho practically panicked, noticing you read his comment. That was 𝙝𝙞𝙨 comment. He slapped his cheek just to make sure he wasn't dreaming. And sure enough he wasn't.
"I'm sorry that you're feeling bad but it'll get better. Life sucks but don't let that stop you. I'm glad I'm helping just a bit. To which ever fan who commented that and everyone else, I love you so much and don't ever forget that" You raised a thumbs up before staring back down at your phone, looking for more comments to read
Minho felt his heart skip a beat. Skip multiple beats in fact. Though the last few words weren't only directed towards him it felt that way. And that's all that matters.
Changbin
Changbin had always been a fan of you. Ever since debut he was rooting for you to succeed
And boy did you do just that
You had millions of fans from all over the globe now and he felt proud of you for that. He loved that you got where you wanted to be.
He enjoyed more of your older songs as that's what he's used to but the newer songs are amazing too.
What really stood out to him about you though was your laugh. You had such a pretty and contagious laugh. Every video he watches, he just hopes you'll laugh. It makes him smile.
He also relates to you food wise. Changbin is someone who loves food and for you to love food as much as he does. Well, that's nice to hear
It was funny how stupidly similar you both were but who knows.. Maybe he's just being delusional
He sometimes thinks about what it would be like to befriend you. He was positive that it wouldn't be a boring experience that's for sure.
He basically stalks your Instagram account and other social media too.
If you post something, he's most likely already seen it or read it. Everything you post is something different, so he always makes sure to stay updated
He also noticed how you both practically have the same sense of humor. Any joke you say seems to crack him up more than anything else
Changbin was watching a recent vlog you recorded and couldn't help but notice a funny detail. After the video he hopped onto Twitter and shared his observation
'𝘏𝘢𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘦𝘭𝘴𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘥 𝘩𝘰𝘸 (𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘦) 𝘴𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘢𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘵 2 𝘵𝘰 3 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘴. 𝘔𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘨𝘰 𝘵𝘰 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘥'
A few hours, Changbin returned to Twitter noticing the attention his post got. Many were agreeing and others were just pointing out other details. But one comment left him shocked
He couldn't believe it. He even clicked on the profile and did everything. And surely enough, that comment was from you
'𝘓𝘰𝘭𝘭, 𝘐 𝘥𝘰 𝘴𝘢𝘺 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘢 𝘭𝘰𝘵. 𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘢 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 𝘴𝘰 𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘶𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 😭"
You liked his little joke. YOU ACTUALLY LIKED IT. He tried not to scream as he was in a restaurant with a bunch of friends. He must have been dreaming, or dead maybe.
Either way, he was glad you got to laugh at his silly comment. Who knows. Maybe they'll be more silly comments you'll see and laugh at even more
Hyunjin
Hyunjin loves you. And when I say love, I mean he 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙨 you.
He listens to your music every single day. Maybe while painting or doodling, he played one his favorite songs
I mean, all your songs were his favorite song, but he had a few that he held close to his heart.
When with friends, he always has an urge to bring you up in literally anything conversation
"Did you see (name) at Paris Fashion Week "
"Did you know (name) can do that too"
"Woah, that reminds me of (name). She's a great idol and her music is fantastic! "
Just a few examples of his undying love to you
Hyunjin really believes that you both are soul mates. Now, that is quite delusional but it makes sense! (To him anyway)
You once described, in an interview, what your type is and he ticked all the boxes. But maybe that's just his ego talking. Just a hopeless romantic in love
He celebrated your birthday like it was his own.
His gallery was filled with more pictures of you than his own family
It was all very concerning but Hyunjin didn't care. He was happy. He was happy knowing you.
Hyunjin did do other things too. He occasionally posted his art which gained lots of attraction. It was good after all. At some point, you mentioned how you didn't know what cover to use for your upcoming album.
Hyunjin took it upon himself to make a fan made album cover. It was soo good, people actually thought it was official. You soon saw the cover and was so impressed. You needed to use it. It was perfect
Hyunjin woke up to something unexpected the next day. Other than the thousands of notifications, he got a DM. From you. He almost dropped his phone from pure surprise
'𝘏𝘦𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦!! 𝘐 𝘴𝘢𝘸 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵 𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘺 𝘢𝘭𝘣𝘶𝘮 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐 𝘢𝘣𝘴𝘰𝘭𝘶𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘪𝘵!! 𝘐𝘵'𝘴 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘴, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯. 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘱𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘪𝘵, 𝘏𝘺𝘶𝘯𝘫𝘪𝘯 𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘵? '
'𝘠𝘶𝘱, 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 𝘮𝘦. 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘰 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴. 𝘐𝘮 𝘴𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢 𝘢 𝘩𝘶𝘨𝘦 𝘧𝘢𝘯 😖"
"𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭!! 𝘞𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘴𝘬 𝘪𝘧 𝘐 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬. 𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦 :)"
"𝘖𝘧 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦. 𝘐𝘵 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘣𝘦 𝘢𝘯 𝘩𝘰𝘯𝘰𝘶𝘳!!"
And with that, Hyunjin's artwork was the official album cover
He was over the roof. Seeing his art piece on the YOUR official album with YOUR songs. Okay, saying he was over the roof is an understatement
You later had an interview about the album and basically praised Hyunjin for his work for around 2 minutes. He watched that interview more than he could count. Needless to say, he didn't want to forget this moment.
Jisung
Jisung wasn't an artist but he liked music. Music was like a child to him. To some extent anyway
It did make sense though
His father was the owner of a huge kpop company. The company you were under in fact
Jisung wasn't interested in your music at first. Until, he followed his father in the recording studio you were working in. It was just a check up on your latest song. After one listen, he couldn't get the song out of his head.
He did some research about you and realized you were quite a popular idol in the community. That's where his fan obsession began
He liked watching all your interviews. Your personality was something he couldn't get over. You were always so nice and thoughtful towards anyone around. He was very intrigued by everything.
Though you were in the same company his father owned, you both never interacted. Mainly because he avoided you as much as possible. Embarrassment was not an option.
As a fan, Jisung listened to your music. He had a special playlist just for your songs and songs you liked.Songs he thought 𝙮𝙤𝙪 would like too.
He basically carried a photocard of you everywhere. Jisung believes it brings him good luck. Which was a cute gesture but it did sound a bit silly
He didn't care at all. Even if it was silly, it kept him at ease. He liked it that way
You had to write a song for a special performance. It was to be the company's 50th birthday but you had no ideas. That's when Jisung came in
"I heard you were having trouble with song writing. I brought my son to help you. He is quite the song writer" Your boss smiled. You eyed Jisung curiously. This was all to sudden but time was running out. You allowed it.
Jisung on the other hand was a nervous wreck. He couldn't even focus without getting scared. You noticed this and decided to give him some space.
When you returned, the song was finished. You excitedly examined the lyrics. You were impressed to say the least. The lyrics naturally connected to you, as if they were your own
"Oh my- this is perfect Jisung. You really are a great song writer"
"Really? It's not dumb or anything...? "
"Not at all. It's so professional and well done. Good job"
You gave the male a quick but thoughtful hug. He hugged back. You were his favorite idol and he couldn't believe he got to be this close to you. It was a dream come true.
The song did extremely well. At the show, Jisung got a whole shoutout with his face on the big screen. He was embarrassed but glad. Glad he could help you out.
Felix
Felix found you through Tiktok. How? Well your MAMA performance was trending and it was practically every where. It was impossible for anyone not to see at least one edit.
Felix did watch MAMA and he knew about you. He has known for a while. But wasn't a fan. He just knew you were a popular idol. What he didn't know though, was how obsessed he would become.
Like Minho, Felix was mesmerized by how you dance. He imagined you were the best dancer he had ever watched. Felix would often practice your dances, simply for fun
Everything was for fun
Did he read the fan fictions? Well... No but yes. He did read them but only sometimes. And he only read the cute stuff. He was delusional at the thought of you. Just a cute fanboy
Felix absolutely loved your smile. He often called you a sunshine or something like that. He believes you bring sunlight and everything bright. Anyone could go blind even looking at you or that's what he thought.
Your voice. He was one of the fans who could listen to your voice for ages on end.
He was passionate about you. Talking about you just came naturally or even accidentally though he did feel embarrassed after rambling. He didn't want to seem annoying in front of his friends. It was hard to control.
Felix watched all the edits he could find. Any edit. Any meme. Any video. He would watch it. He enjoyed all the content fans made of you.
Like most, Felix had merchandise. All neatly organized and placed in his room. He didn't like misplacing any of it. Not because it was expensive. He just didn't need to loose anything. It was all important to him
Felix opened Tiktok one day. You posted a challenge. A challenge for a song that he was in love with. There wasn't one day he didn't think of this song. It didn't have any choreography ... Until now
So a challenge? He had to try it out!
After a few hours of practice and life regret, Felix memorized the dance. He joined on the challenge posting his version on Tiktok.
Felix knew the video was going to blow up but he didn't expect it to get him a deal with you
Now, the male was patiently sitting in your studio. A few staff members with him. You hurriedly entered the studio.
"Hello! So glad you could make it Felix"
"Uhm... It wasn't a problem but... Why am I here? "
"I need a dance partner. I saw your video giving a go at my challenge. You're perfect"
Felix tilts his head. He was curious about why she chose him but decided to learn that later on. Hey, he was given a deal to dance with someone he admired. Why not take it.
He worked really hard to learn all the dance steps and everything. With you of course. You were extremely helpful. Your smile had to be the best part of everything though. It was as bright as he thought.
The concert day has to have been the best though. The performance went really well. Felix became quite popular with your fans. Everyone was so supportive rather than jealous. It was the best day of his life. That day never left his mind. It definitely was something he'd never forget.
Seungmin
Seungmin isn't your biggest fan.
He does like your music. Your personality. Etc. He is definitely not a BIG fan of you
You were just an idol he was fond of
Seungmin had few amounts of merchandise. Again, he's just fond of you
Seungmin was captivated by your singing voice. That's what he first noticed. Nothing healed his heart more than your singing.
It was a melody he simply wouldn't get over. Seungmin, personally, sang himself. He actually was a trainee under your company too.
He'd often bump into you but it wasn't a huge deal. He saw you as any other idol in the company. Just a human with a big platform
You both often had a brief and quick interaction before moving on. Getting on with your own lives.
He was more normal about you than the others, obviously
The thing that changed though, was how much of a fan he was towards you
The company gave him a challenge to learn then sing a cover from the list that was provided
Alright, seems easy. He chose the hardest song. One of yours. Did he want to show off? Yes. Was it because he wanted to impress you? To an extent, definitely
The highnotes in the song are what he was ready for. He practiced. And practiced. And practiced some more.
Seungmin, like his other trainee peers, we're given the same challenge. One by one, they all perform their covers in front of the judges. The judges were honest. Really honest from what he heard. A girl ran back crying. Seungmins breath quickened and he lightly tapped his foot on the ground
He was anxious
His turn arrived. He stared at the judges, noticing you were there. 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯'𝘵 𝘮𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 up, he thought. The greetings and introductions ended. Now it was time for Seungmin to impress everyone (cough cough you)
The song reached its end. The room was quiet. The judges glanced at each other, with stunned expressions.
They all gave their feedback. The feedback was honest but decent. Your opinion was something that stuck with him forever though
"Well, that was my song and I haven't heard anyone sing it better than me. I'm actually so impressed Seungmin. I'm jealous. You have an angelic voice which I need on one of my songs. "
Everyone agreed and nod their heads
"When you debut, I'd love you to feature on some of my future music"
Seungmin left the company that day in a cheery mood. He couldn't believe one day you'd want to work on a song with him. Oh he was definitely going to learn as many of your songs as possible now.
Jeongin
Jeongin is definitely someone who keeps his love for you a personal thing
Only close friends knew about it
He liked it that way
Your fashion sense is something he is obsessed with. Jeongin is someone who takes time when it comes to dressing up. As soon as you mentioned, in an interview, that most of your stage outfits or general outfits are what you pick yourself. He could definitely relate
You dress like someone who cares about what you look like. Just like him.
You are an ambassador for a fashion brand after all. His seen plenty of ads in the mall or on the internet of you. He liked pointing them out in front of his friends
Jeongin thought you were sweet. Sweet like honey
He had no specific reason on why he wanted to know so much about you. Maybe it was his personal connection with you.
Or maybe he just wanted something to be attached to
Either way he was a big fan. Jeongin was simple about this whole thing. He felt happy when watching your content
He definitely was over protective about you though. He knows he shouldn't. It just sucks when someone comments a negative opinion. Of course, criticizing an idol is necessary for improvement. Though some take it too far. That's what pisses him off
Other than that, Jeongin is relaxed. Most of the time, especially in winter, he wears the same exact beanie. When asked about it, he doesn't really know how to answer but it is quite a story.
He attended a concert of yours. He was close to the stage which was just perfect. Of course, he brought friends with him. Friends that are fans as all.
Jeongin practically sang his heart out to every song. One of your more intense songs with a lot of energetic dances played. While dancing your beanie accidentally flew into the crowd. Luckily, Jeongin caught it.
The performance ended. You joked about the beanie flying off and asking if anyone caught it. Jeongins friends screamed in his direction bringing all the attention towards him.
A bright red paints on his face. The concert venue was dim. You hopefully couldn't see it. You laughed lightly noticing the shock in his face
"You know what. You can keep it"
Jeongin frantically shook his head insisting on you taking it back.
"Really, take it. You spent a whole ton of money just to see me sing and dance. It's the least I could do for such a cute fan"
Jeongin felt like passing out. One of his friends roughly shook him while the crowd screamed
He smiled at the thought, anytime he saw the piece of clothing. It was a wonderful experience. An experience he had to relive again.

Sunsets and footballers (Part 3)
Lucy Bronze x Reader (3)
Masterlist (other parts here)
Jordan had a big smile on her face when she saw YFN. She pulled over at the front of her hotel and put the window down.
“Allo mate, need a lift?”
“I don’t have any money, sorry.”
Jordan opened her mouth in an amused and fake offended ‘O’. “You’re takin’ the mick.”
YFN laughed and slid into the passenger seat. “Do you charge by the hour or…?”
Jordan laughed loudly and slapped her arm. “Too expensive for you, mate.”
She began driving. YFN loved seeing this side of Jordan. The side that seemed much more natural, and much more of the Jordan that Lucy was describing last night.
“Wherrrrrre are we going?”
“I was thinking coffee and then shopping? Also, I’m assuming you don’t have any football gear to wear to the game tomorrow?”
“Hm, you are correct there.”
“Oh, Lucy is going to love seeing you in a Bronze jersey.”
YFN blushed and looked over, surprised.
“What? She loves seeing people in her jersey. Plus, you don’t know anybody else on the team, do you?”
“That’s a negative, and what number is she?”
“2.”
“Oh, my favourite. Okay, let’s get a Bronze jersey. Should we get the home or away kit?”
Jordan laughed. “Wow, look at you! Someone’s been doing their research!”
YFN grinned. “I love blue but the internet says something about it being a bad luck kit…?”
“Oh poppycock. Blue would be perfect with your eyes.”
YFN laughed. “Oh, and I also want an Australian flag.”
Although they only planned on a few hours, the two spent all day together. The atmosphere was great, they both bantered like they’d known each other for years. They wandered around town with iced drinks, stopped for breakfast, then lunch, and Jordan even taught her how to kick a soccer ball on an empty pitch, as well as teaching her some rules. YFN did try to incorporate some tackles to which Jordan gave her red cards for. They collected some free merchandise for the game from people in the club who Jordan knew and managed to find an Australian flag also. The day was fantastic, and of course they ended it on the beach with some fish and chips, Jordan making YFN try it with curry sauce. It confused the hell out of her, but she admitted it was decent.
The next day Jordan picked up YFN again early and they went for lunch. They had decided the day before that they wanted to catch up earlier before they headed to the game. At lunch, Jordan asked YFN about her job and what she did. She was a writer and loved to write fantasy. She’d been working for a newspaper before she left and had a very popular daily column with a lot of fans, but she left because she lost her passion for it. And so, she decided to travel to gain inspiration and get back into writing fantasy with the hope of publishing and travelling the world. Jordan was wowed by this and admitted to wishing she had the creativity for it. About five minutes later though, it seemed she had completely forgotten the conversation though, and had to ask again. YFN laughed, this had happened a few times with her the day before and so she lovingly gave Jordan the nickname ‘Dory’.
The seats for the game were in the perfect spot, just adjacent to where the team benches were. The two were dressed up, laughing at their awkwardness as they made their way down to their seats with arms of popcorn, hotdogs, and drinks. They reached their seats and were greeted by a loud man and his adorable family. YFN didn’t need a degree to figure out who it was. Jordan introduced him as Jorge Bronze, Lucy’s big brother, and his family. He gave Jordan a hug and kiss, and she picked up the kids and gave them kisses also. Jorge dragged YFN into a strong hug they took their seats next to them. It felt like a huge family affair and made YFNs heart swell with happiness. Her family life was not so joyful, and so this was a happy change. A few other friends came over to say hi to Jordan and she introduced them to YFN. They were friends, other football players, or partners of friends.
Shortly before the game, the teams ran out onto the field to warm up. The crowd seemed to yell extra loudly as Lucy came out onto the field, Jorge was the loudest of all. One kid in his arm and a drink in the other, he yelled at the top of his lungs “LUCYLUCY. LUCYLUCY.” Many people were yelling it like a chant, and Jorge recorded it for his social media. YFN couldn’t keep her eyes off of Lucy. She oozed confidence. Her dark hair was up in a messy bun, and she looked a bit different without her glasses, but a good different. YFN bit her lip, thinking her football gear was a welcome sight. She couldn’t help but see the muscles through her clothes, particularly the thigh muscles when she walked. Lucy jogged around without a care, chewing gum and laughing with her teammates. At one point in time, she even sat on a football and just watched as the others warmed up.
“Hey Dory, what’s she doing?” YFN asked Jordan.
Jordan leaned into YFN to yell over the crowd. “Who? Lucy? Oh, her knee is really bad. Like really, really bad. She’s had a lot of surgeries and she’s always in pain. She just tries to keep off it before and after games really.”
As if Lucy had heard them, she looked up and caught sight of her group. Her eyes wandered along her family who were crazily waving until she reached Jordan and YFN. She grinned when she saw YFN wearing her jersey with that little dimpled smile on her face. It suited her, she thought. Being in the crowd with her family and friends, wearing a Bronze jersey, and holding an Australian flag with pride. She and Jordan had painted the flag on their cheeks also, fully supporting their friend. Lucy wanted nothing more than to walk over and talk to them, but she knew she was supposed to be warming up. She settled for a big childish wave and re-joined her team.
Ten minutes later they left the field, Lucy waving at her section and grinning from ear to ear as she left. Soon enough after, the crowd roared as the teams entered the stadium, holding hands with their mascots. Lucy was last in line, swinging arms with her little mascot. They stood for the national anthems and after a quick team photo, the game was underway. YFN couldn’t tell if she was just biased, but it was pretty obvious to her that Lucy was the most intelligent on the field. When she didn’t see an opening she liked, she passed the ball back to the defender next to her who Jordan said was “Millie Bright – acting Captain.” She pushed up the field hard during the first half of the game, and very nearly scoring on several occasions.
“Wow, Lucy is ON FIRE today! LUCYLUCY!” Jorge shouted. “THAT’S MY SISTER!”
“I haven’t seen her play this good is a while!” Jordan shouted in YFN’s ear.
A long shot came towards the goal and Lucy was sprinting from nowhere, her speed was incredible. She leapt, heading the ball and the goalkeeper tipped it. The ball hit the crossbar and bounced back into play. One of Lucy’s teammates were in the perfect position for the rebound and struck the ball, side-netting it. The crowd groaned loudly.
“COME ON LESS!” Jordan yelled encouragingly.
“COME ON RUSSO! WHY IS LUCY OUR BEST STRIKER!” A yell came from behind them in the crowd.
YFN was confused. Jordan saw her confusion. “Lucy is a defender, not a striker. Not even a midfielder. She shouldn’t be the most dangerous striker for us today but she’s just playing so well. The other girls aren’t doing well enough to be honest.”
That made sense to her. Lucy was compensating for her team. All of her discussions with Jordan the day before about Lucy being overly competitive and not liking to lose were becoming more obvious. YFN loved it and joined in on the shouting for England’s number 2.
The whistle blew to signal half time and the scores were still 0-0. During the break the pair took Lucy’s niece and nephew up to the bathroom and brought back more snacks for the Bronze family. They settled back down when YFN noticed that Jordan was tense and uncomfortably shifting.
“What’s the matter?” YFN asked.
Jordan leant over to talk in her ear, not loud enough that anyone else would hear it. “My ex is here. A few rows behind us. She waved at me.”
YFN pulled back with wide, worried eyes. “Oh Jordan, are you okay?”
“I don’t know. We’re still friends and I think she’s a lovely person, but I just feel so uncomfortable right now. She going to want to try and speak to me after this.”
“And you don’t want to?”
“She going to try and speak to me like everything’s normal when it’s not. I don’t think I have the capacity.”
YFN put her arm around Jordan and pulled her close. “You need to tell her that you need space. Because right now, even though you’re replying the bare minimum to her, it’s still coming across like you’re okay to casually chat to her when you know you need your space to heal.”
“You’re right.” She groaned. “I just don’t want to come across nasty at all. She’s such a good person.”
“Protect yourself first. Heal a bit. And only then can you try to have normal conversations with her, hm?”
The teams came back out then, and the second half began. Jordan’s mood picked up as she was lost again in the screaming, but unlike YFN, she was yelling their names.
Lucy played even better the second half, giving so many chances to her teammates to score. She went down, hard at one point, literally tumbling over like a gymnast and the crowd seemed to think this was normal.
“NEVER A GOOD GAME UNLESS LUCY IS FLYING!”
“LUCIA!”
“LUCYLUCY!”
“BRONZEYYYYY!”
She got back up and jogged back over to her spot a bit stiffly. YFN was in awe of her resilience. Eventually the 90 minutes were up and they were given +2 minutes. Just when all seemed like it was about to be over, Lucy scored. And it was beautiful. Just like last time she came sprinting from absolutely nowhere however this time she volleyed the ball into the net, hard. So hard the net must have broken. The stadium erupted, they all leapt to their feet screaming at the top of their lungs. Jordan and YFN grabbed each other, jumping up and down. Popcorn flew all around. Lucy was bombarded by her teammates leaping onto her. Looking up at the big screen, YFN could better see the massive grin spread across her face. Of course she scored.
“GOAL FOR ENGLAND NUMBER 2, LUCY BRONZE!”
The stadium erupted again.
Play resumed for the last 20 seconds, and the whistle ended the match to a stadium still cheering for Lucy.
Jorge was again filming on his phone, kid in one arm and phone in the other. “AW TOO BAD SO SAD.” He cackled as he filmed the other team. YFN laughed at the absurdity of it. She looked around at the packed stadium. It was all insane.
“AND YOUR PLAYER OF THE MATCH IS… LUCY BRONZE!”
Lucy received even more yelling and applauses. She shook hands with both teams and then was dragged into an interview on the pitch while her teammates signed autographs and gave out some of their match worn gear to the crowd. When Lucy finished the interview, she immediately hobbled over to her section and jumped up to lean over the barriers. Jorge and her family got to her first and pulled her into big hugs and kisses. They took some selfies and then Lucy moved over to grab Jordan into an all-encompassing hug.
“I’m so proud of you.” Jordan cried, tears welling. Lucy grinned and pulled back, looking at YFN and opening her arms cheekily. YFN laughed and wrapped her arms around her in a tight, warm hug. Of course, Lucy’s hugs were amazing.
“I’m sorry, I probably don’t smell the best right now.”
“You smell like success to me.” YFN kept holding tight for as long as Lucy was, though Lucy was doing the same. They both gave up eventually so as to not give any wrong impressions to photographers or the crowd around them.
“Nice jersey. Would you like me to sign it?”
“Depends, how much would it be worth?”
Lucy rolled her eyes and took a sharpie from her brother. She shifted YFN’s hair back gently to sign her jersey over her collarbone. She couldn’t help but notice YFNs perfume. The same perfume that was on her hoody when she had given it back a few days before. A shiver went up her spine as she tried to focus on writing neatly.
“Mine too please!” Jordan quipped. Lucy signed her jersey also.
“Oh, and this please!” YFN held up her Australian flag. Lucy grinned, rolling her eyes again and signed her flag. YFN couldn’t help but stare at her, the big grin taking over her face, her hair curling at the sides where she’d been sweating, and those big green eyes. They locked eyes for a moment but both broke contact almost immediately as it affected them both so intensely. No way would they be able to keep it normal in front of so many people. They felt each other shiver and saw each other smile. Nobody seemed to notice.
“I hear there’s a dinner party tonight!” Jorge almost yelled.
“Ohhhh yeah. Family and friends. I told them you’d all be there. You’re all coming, right?” She looked at Jordan a little worried, presumably because her ex would be there.
Jordan looked at YFN. “Stuff it. Yeah, we’ll be there.”

Haircuts and Sandwiches
Just something quick and easy to give younger! Nanami some love ❤️
@goth-mami-writer for helping me with it ❤️
Masterlist
Tumblr media
It's been three months since Kento had left the world of Jujitsu Sorcery, freed from his duties to hunt down curses and the horrors of watching his friends and classmates die. He wasn't happy, mind you, but he was relieved to have a normal life. He got up at the same time. He went to his new job and did the same thing, and at the end of the day, Kento would stop at his favorite sandwich shop where the employees already knew his order.
Today, there had been a change in his routine. His hair, still long and styled down, kept falling into his face, and Nanami was getting tired of it. So, before his shift was over, he made an appointment with the closest hairdresser to his work.
Hours later, Kento sits in a chair with a black gown covering his suit and watches as locks of his blonde hair fall. He'd picked the quickest and nicest looking short style he'd seen in the magazines he'd flipped through. It doesn't take the stylist long, and seen Nanami is handing over his card and paying.
His hair is much shorter now, his bangs styled to the opposite side and pushed back with a bit of gel. Nanami admires himself in the provided mirror, and his lips quirk up a bit. This suited him far better, he thought.
He leaves with a thank you to the hairdresser and then down the street he goes, stomach growling and mind focused on getting his usual from the sandwich shop near his apartment. The bell above the door jingles when he steps inside, and he glances behind the counter to see who is working today.
You stand behind the counter and look up, cheeks pinking when you catch sight of the regular your coworkers keep teasing you about. He is a handsome young man, so it's not like they can fault you for having eyes.
Nanami's shoulders slump, his stance turning relaxed when you catch his eye, and he gives you a small nod in greeting as he steps up the the counter to order.
"I like your hair. You chose a nice style."
His heart hammers, and his lips curl up into a genuine smile. You never failed to brighten his day. He reaches up and runs his fingers through his blonde locks, almost shyly.
"Thank you, _. How are you today?"
The two of you go back and forth for a bit while you ring him up and make his sandwich, and the interaction is over too soon. Kento dithers a bit before he leaves, waiting to the side with his bag as you deal with another customer before he steps back to the counter, his pale cheeks flushing, and he forces the words forward before he could lose his nerve.
"Would you like to have dinner sometime?"
You look taken aback, but then a smile breaks over your face, one so wide and joyful that the heavy atmosphere that hangs around Kento like a second skin breaks. You nod, and Nanami finds himself sharing your grin.
"Yeah, I'd love that."

yandere hcs ; poly welcome home ensemble
Tumblr media
requested by ; cloud-kitties (18/05/23)
fandom(s) ; welcome home
fandom masterlist(s) ; here
character(s) ; barnaby b beagle, eddie dear, frank frankly, howdy pillar, julie joyful, poppy partridge, sally starlet, wally darling
outline ; “Chuu~ Would ya maybe do headcannons for the whole neighborhood in a sort of yandere polycule for the neighbor?
No infighting just a whole agreement of “neighbor is the most. We keep.” Snuggle party ftw maybe some conniving °v°
I love them all so dang much.”
note ; little bit unsure of this piece since it’s more focused on the ensemble as a whole rather than individual characters, so characterisation might be mildly shaky where it does appear
warning(s) ; yandere!ensemble, mostly fluff, possessiveness, obsessiveness
the neighbourhood had always been especially close, after all they only had each other to rely on so it made sense to at least try and all get along, but something shifted when you moved in — and they became that much more tight knit because of it
you were a fresh face around town: a new customer at the bugdega who always greeted howdy with a smile so bright it hurt his eyes just to look, a new set of waving hands that stopped eddie on his morning rounds as you sheepishly gave him a card to pass on (so apologetic that he simply couldn’t say no), a new muse for wally to paint out in his garden as you leaned dangerously out of your bedroom window to help guide sally on where to place her new (startlingly large) props, a new voice to laugh and groan and react to barnaby’s jokes (your enjoyment and amusement so addictively palpable that he found himself thinking about it as he drifted off to sleep), a new pair of eyes for julie to stroll and pose in front of to show off her new outfits and hairstyles (flustering and glowing under your earnest encouragement and biting her tongue to hold herself back from tackling you into a tight embrace), a new pair of hands to help frank catch that butterfly he’s been trying to get for days now (and succeeding effortlessly in your first try, earning his muted awe as you celebrated and handed over your prize to him), a new mouth for poppy to feed with her latest treats (and who never hesitated to praise her cooking until her feathers were all awry and her head was hidden in her wings, all while insisting you were only stating the truth)
you were everything and yet you presented yourself so humbly — a true enigma for the neighbours to discuss as their fondness for you grew more intense, more consuming, more concerning (though, of course, none of them could see it for what it was through the puppy-love-esque haze that had overtaken their rational minds)
it was a shared obsession, the subject of every whisper and remark and check-out chat whenever they saw each other — voices lilting with adoration but carrying an air of casualness that might just be unsettling if they weren’t so genuine about it all
they memorise your schedule off by heart and arrange amongst themselves who will be where so that you’re never left alone (that’s such a terrible thought, they never want you to feel neglected) — alternating throughout the week so that howdy and eddie also get their time with you outside of their work schedules
as a collective they’re all incredibly friendly towards you, always greeting you with kindness and offering help with any and everything you do even if you don’t ask for it — leaping at any opportunity to spend time with you or to gain your favour in one way or another
they also never try and force any sort of affection or relationship onto you, content just to have you with them and not feeling the urge to push anything further unless you express that interest (and after very thorough private discussions amongst themselves)
that being said if you wanted to enter a romantic relationship with the ensemble then they’d all be up for it — accepting before you could even complete your sentence (but good luck ever leaving that relationship)
you’re spoiled rotten by your neighbours — kept with good company, given first pickings of every meal and dessert poppy makes, sent countless unsigned letters complimenting everything about you in earnest, offered painting after painting of yourself and your favourite things, spoiled with laughter and entertainment, gifted the newest clothes, and offered discounts and freebies with everything you buy
(and your birthdays are even more extreme, practically turned into holidays and celebrated for well over a week as your neighbours make it the best they can)
but this overwhelming kindness and affection is met with an overwhelming, underlying possessiveness that bubbles up to the surface every time you try to leave the neighbourhood — they just love you so much that they can’t just let you go so easily
they make excuses, cut the phones, block the roads and feign illness after injury — anything they can to keep you at home without causing you any harm themselves (they love you too much to hurt you, you know), and if all else fails then home will step in and… well… nobody wants that to happen
it would be so very difficult for anyone but wally to see you then and that would be so terribly unfair, don’t you think?
so they try and make do as best they can, keeping you entertained and well fed and well spoiled with everything you could possibly need or want — doing everything in their power to keep you content enough that you don’t ever feel the need to leave them
they have everything you need, why would you ever look elsewhere? — with sally and barnaby by your side you’re kept well-entertained, with frank and julie you’re kept active and in good hands as you explore the nearby woodlands, between howdy and poppy you’re never left hungry or craving the things you love, and wally and eddie are more than happy to help you explore your creative side (and home is a wonderful host as well)
they will be whatever you need them to be, whatever you want them to be, clinging to every smile and laugh and look you give them and showering you with all they have to offer — because you really are the absolute most
and they won’t let you go

Vying 2 (Alastor x Gn!Reader x Vox)

Part 1

Comfortably snuggled in the sheets laid (Y/n) who slept so nicely until several knocks woke them up. "(Y/n)? Are you awake?" By the sound of it, it was Charlie calling. Groaning loudly (Y/n) made their presence known. "I'll take it you're awake! Please come down in a few minutes. We have a group exercise to do!" Charlie said cheerfully. "Okaaay," (Y/n) drawled out, rubbing their eyes. Charlie beamed, telling them 'See you soon!' before skipping down the hall. (Y/n) got up, though begrudgingly, and got dressed. Just as they were about to finish up, a light blue card on their nightstand peaked their interest.
Upon closer inspection, (Y/n) saw Vox's face plastered across it coupled with an adress, presumably of VoxTech's headquarters. "Did the dude go into my room again, while I slept?" (Y/n) thought, finding the answer on the back of the card. "Vox here (obviously) Forgot to give you my card. Contact me anytime and whenever you need something," it stated, followed by an obnoxiously large autograph. "Fucking Christ...," (Y/n) muttered, already regretting considering the guy's proposal. "(Y/n), my dear! Folks are waiting for us!" Alastor's voice calls out, followed by a couple knocks. "Coming!" They replied, shoving the card down their pocket. Quickly they opened the door, after throwing on a jacket, and walked down the hall with Alastor who seemed to be in a good mood.
"What's with the cheery attitude?" (Y/n) asked, placing their hands in the jacket's pockets. "Hm?" Alastor hummed, "Oh, it's nothing really. I'm just glad you're not as mad as last night." Chuckling (Y/n) reassured, "Heh, yeah. I'm not the kinda person anymore to hold a grudge forever." "You used to be?" Alastor asked, briefly glancing at (Y/n) who had a vacant look in their eyes, accompanied with a distant smile. "Yeah..., believe it or not, I used to be pretty uptight too," they sighed, stretching their arms before lazily putting them behind their neck, "Now I just wanna relax and see where life takes me." Humming Alastor joked they could share some more wisdom with such a poor sinner as himself.
That earned him a playful shove, followed by a quiet 'Oh you!'. He laughed softly, finding (Y/n)'s attitude refreshing. "They seem to enjoy my presence," Alastor thought, "That's good. Soon enough they will feel comfortable enough to enter a contract with me or follow my words..." (Y/n)'s smile pulled him out of his thoughts as he noticed the twinkle in their eyes shine brighter. "Hey guys!" They greeted, waving at everyone. Charlie returned the greeting with a suffocating hug, "Oh, I'm so happy you are following the rules! I'm sure, you'll be redeemed in no time!" "Su-Sure...," (Y/n) chocked out, "Charlie... Air..." "Oh right of course!" She immediately let go, allowing the sinner to take in a deep breath. (Y/n) couldn't help, but find the joyfulness Charlie displayed remind them of their little sister. They wonder if she is also stuck in hell, although (Y/n) greatly doubted it. Nevertheless the thought stays in the back of their mind.
Clasping her hands, Vaggie called out, "Alright! Now that everyone is here. Let's start with the group exercise!" The exercise goes as followed. A group plays out a little scenario where a moral decision needs to be made. The rest have to figure out what the correct answer is. Charlie will then reveal the correct answer and explain why it's correct. "Okay! Angeldust, Alastor and Sir Pentious, you guys go first," Charlie announced, retrieving their flashcards which has their roles and dialogue written on.
Angeldust is supposed to play the role of a widowed mother. Sir Pentious is his kid who is 12 years old and Alastor is a rich wealthy man. "Oh my dear child," Angeldust read in a monoton voice, "I don't think we have enough money for food." "Do not worry mother!" Sir Pentious declared full of vigor, "I found a lot of money!" "Knock, knock~!" Alastor sang. Angeldust looked at him before asking him, "Hello, how can I help?" "Well you see, your brat," Alastor glared at Sir Pentious who promptly hid behind Angel, "stole money from me. I've come to retrieve it. If you do not hand it over, I will alert the law enforcement immediately!" "Ok, now what would you do if you were in the mother's position?" Charlie asked excitedly.
Husk and (Y/n) exchanged a look. "Uuuh, I guess keep the money?" Husk answered before continuing, "Otherwise they will starve, won't they?" "Well...," Charlie looked a little stumped. "If you ask me, the rich guy is the bad guy here anyway. The loser sees a struggling family and still wants his money," (Y/n) chimed in, noticing Alastor frown at the mention of loser. "Sorry, Alastor," they added, making Alastor shake his head and wave them off. "Well, the correct thing would be to give the money back, but you two make very great arguments...," Charlie stated doubtfully before continuing hopefully, "Let's go to the next scenario and see how that goes!" Now it was Angeldust's, Sir Pentious' and Alastor's turn to be the audience.
Husk and (Y/n) are a couple who are arguing. "You drink so much," (Y/n) accused with a shaky voice, "Everytime you drink, you become so mean!" Husk looked like he wanted to be anywhere, but here. "I'm fine. You need to get over it," he stated, taking a swig out of an empty bottle, "the bottle is empty..." "Don't worry, go on!" Charlie quietly cheered. Husk briefly glanced at Charlie before looking back at (Y/n). "Can you really blame me for drinking?" Husk asked irritated, "I had a really really bad childhood." (Y/n) rolled their eyes, while Husk groaned. "If you can't satisfy me, I will just look for another guy!" They yelled before pretending to leave. "Good!" Husk yelled back, taking another swig of the empty bottle.
Clapping her hands vigorously, Charlie now looked at the audience. "So, how would you guys try to solve the argument without (Y/n) walking out?" She asked. "Husk would need to go to rehab before solving anything," Angeldust suggested, smiling at how Husk rolled his eyes. Charlie nodded happily, looking at the other two. "Well I believe (Y/n) needs to either break up with Husk," Alastor began, making Charlie grin from ear to ear, "or murder him, bury him in the dirt where he belongs and allow me to make him wish he would have had the heart to acknowledge (Y/n)'s concerns!" Charlie's grin fell. Husk grimaced at the suggestion, especially after Alastor shot him a glance. "Oh ho!" Alastor laughed, "I jest! I jest!" "Okay, that first bit was kinda okay," she affirmed, gazing at Sir Pentious, "do you have any ideas?" The sinner thought for a moment. "Oh! Oh! Maybe (Y/n) could have tried talking about the childhood with Husk and make him feel better," Sir Pentious answered, feeling mighty proud of his answer.
The Princess of Hell felt just as proud, exclaiming, "Yes! Yes! These all are great and valid ideas. The correct answer I had written down was that (Y/n) needs to be more empathetic and not immediately jump to a different person. Husk needs to be more honest about his feelings and take care of himself or allow to be taken care of." "Cool, can we fuck off now?" Angeldust who lazily laid across the couch chimed in. Before Charlie or Vaggie could say something, (Y/n) intervened, "That's rude, asshole." Angeldust merely scowled, not bothering to even glance at (Y/n). "It's fine, (Y/n)," Charlie reassured, "but yes, this will be it for today's exercise. I think we made some good progress!" Everyone either nodded or hummed, leaving to do their own thing.
Also (Y/n) was heading out. They figured they could do some more exploring and visit Vox, just to check out what he's got. Maybe he knows enough people to tell them if their sister in hell as well. Before they could leave the hotel, Alastor stopped them. "(Y/n)~," he sang, holding onto their shoulder, "You still owe me a rendezvous." Chuckling (Y/n) replied, "That hungry? I guess we can go now. I wouldn't mind a delicious meal." "Wonderful!" He squeezed their shoulders before offering his arm to interlink. "Ah, what the hell...," (Y/n) thought, accepting Alastor's offer. Both of them then headed out to the cannibal district, whilst Alastor filled the silence with stories of his first arrival in hell as well as how he met Rosie.
In the meantime Vox was fiddling with his mighty computer. He tried finding ways to maximise his view count on his shows, but alas it seemed he already optimised everything. Propping his arm on the table, he placed the weight of his head on his hand. He furrowed his brows before groaning in frustration. "There must be a way...," Vox muttered mindlessly. "To what? Find your little sinner?" "Fuck!" Vox yelled shocked, spinning around to see Velvet stand behind him, "You scared the shit out of me!" "That was my intention. Great that it worked out, right?" She smiled, continuing, "So you're still looking for the new-comer?" Vox sighed, "No, Velvet. I already found 'em, but we came to the agreement that I won't spy on them as long as they consider joining the Vees." Velvet looked at him confused. Vox raised an eyebrow.
"That's it?" She asked, sitting down on Vox's desk, "I thought your business talk would have been more effective." "Ugh, don't remind me...," Vox groaned, remembering how he allowed his emotions to take precedence and almost screwed up the whole project. Then to top it all off, he forgot to leave his business card and left it after they fell asleep. He really needs to reboot and maybe install some new updates to his system. "You might still wanna see what I found," Velvet said, showing him her phone. On the screen was sinistagram open with a particular post shown. It was a grainy picture, glitching significantly, however the figures were clearly recognizable. They were Alastor and (Y/n) who were holding onto one another smiling.
Voxs eye started turning red, radio waves very audible, making Velvet smirk. Slamming his fist down onto the desk, Vox cussed, "That old-timey freak! He should fucking know better and stay away from what's mine!" "You mean ours?" Velvet inquired. "Yeah yeah," Vox was quickly typing away on his computer, far too consumed by rage to acknowledge Velvet. She rolled her eyes, but got yet again confused when Vox got to a camera which showed Alastor and (Y/n). "Hold on there, darling. Don't you have a binding deal?" Velvet asked, observing the screen with curiosity. "We didn't make a deal, just came to an agreement," Vox corrected, bouncing his leg impatiently up and down. Now this has Velvet really stumped. How can the ever charismatic Vox fail to even make a deal? Something was clearly amiss. "So you could have been spying on them this whole time without them knowing and just... didn't?" She clarified.
Sighing Vox replied, "Yes, I could have, but after my blunder I don't wanna risk anything..." That made Velvet gasp, "Don't tell me you might be... developing morals! That's fucking disgusting!" She faked gagging noises, making Vox roll his eyes. "Velvet sweetheart," he gently started, "You should know me well enough to know, I'm just playing it safe. Nothing wrong with that." "Yeah, but this is unlike you to be acting this cautious, like how the fuck would they even find out you were spying on them?" She countered, crossing her arms. "Listen," he told her, "we don't even know how they were able to rake up so many souls in such a short time. Anything is possible."
Velvet gestured to the screen, "Then why spy on them now?" Vox laughed, "Pfft, what? No! This can hardly be called spying! I merely got concerned over the poor new-comer being near that freaky Radio Demon." Velvet just hummed, not impressed by Vox's clear denial that something was wrong with his system. "Whatever," she said, sitting up, "Check up your system 'cause there is something completely bugged. Whether you like it or not, you've never acted like this before." This gave Vox pause to think. Velvet wasn't wrong. He noticed it too, but still has to save face. "Don't worry, I'll be fine," he waved her off. Velvet huffed before ultimately leaving Vox alone. Focusing his gaze back onto the screen Vox just couldn't help, but feel envy consume his soul.
He tapped his fingers on the desk in an impatient manner. "Perhaps," he mused, "it's mere possessiveness... It has to be. If it's..." Shaking his head, he sighed. Is this maybe the true punishment for his sins? Still be second to that wretched Radio Demon and have a desired soul be the embodiment of that? No, no, Vox can't allow them to consume him. Fickle emotions shouldn't interfere with his goals. In fact, they can't. They simply can not.
Whilst Vox was experiencing a crisis, Alastor was feeling quite ecstatic. They finally arrived in the cannibal district and he could not wait any longer for some nice food. "How about we settle for the restaurant right around the corner?" Alastor suggested, "It has glowing reviews!" (Y/n) nodded, replying, "Take the lead." This made Alastor grin much more. "Starting to trust me, eh?" He remarked, noting (Y/n) roll their eyes. "I mean, do I have a choice? You know Hell much better obviously," they smiled, reassuringly tapping his arm. The gesture softened Alastor's expression. "That's correct, dear. You don't have a choice," he chuckled. Arriving at the restaurant, (Y/n) suggested sitting outside instead of inside. Alastor agreed, pulling back the chair for them before sitting down himself.
After scanning through the rather small menu, both ordered and patiently waited for their order. "So I've been thinking," (Y/n) began hesitantly, "Uh, you remember that TV guy?" "I certainly do. What about him?" Alastor asked, propping his arms on the table, so he can lay his head on his hands. "His name is Vox, right? What's his deal? Do you know him?" The Overlord laughed, "Oh, I do, but you need not bother with the picture box. He is nuisance at worst." "Hm, I just thought he might be able to help me-" Alastor cut them off, "I'm sorry, but with what exactly can that piece of useless metal help with?" "Find my little sister," (Y/n) answered, earning a confused look from Alastor, "I don't know if she went to heaven or not and I just wanna make sure, she is fine." "Oh dear," Alastor began, "That's understandable. If my mother taught me anything, it's to always help a lady in need." "So you're willing to help me search for my sister?" (Y/n) asked hopefully, making Alastor grin excessively.
"Of course, dear!" He affirmed, adding, "But I need to get something out of this." "What could I even offer to you that's worth?" (Y/n) countered. Before Alastor was able to respond, the server arrived with the food. Briefly thanking him he turned his attention back to (Y/n) who had that vacant look in their eyes again. This made Alastor pause for a moment. "So?" They asked again. Alastor cleared his throat, "Your time. It's quite valuable to me." (Y/n) only raised an eyebrow in response. "Until we know the whereabouts of your little sister, I simply want you to spend time with me when I ask for it." "That's it? What would spending time together mean? Not something...," (Y/n) vaguely implied. Alastor took a bite of his food before answering, "Oh, heavans no! I mean, doing something like this. Go outside or do an activity together." (Y/n) took a bite out of the food as well, humming at the great taste.
The deal doesn't sound bad and it will only last until their little sister's location is known, so not forever. "What if I break the deal?" They asked, making Alastor chuckle. "Then your soul is mine," he explained, taking another bite, "The reviews certainly didn't lie..." "And you will have to follow through, right? Until she is found," (Y/n) clarified, chewing down some meat. Alastor nodded, continuing to eat with a smile plastered across his face. Thinking over the offer, (Y/n) couldn't see a bad side to it. To be honest, it was fairly balanced and sounded innocent enough. "Alright," they agreed, "I'll take you up on that deal." "Wonderful! Truly wonderful!" Alastor stretched out his hand, "Shake my hand and the deal will be in effect." As soon as (Y/n) was about to shake green mist started surrounding them, making them hesitate.
Alastor reassured them, "Nothing to fear dear. It's normal when you make a deal with me." (Y/n) thought it over one last time before going to shake his hand. Just as they were about to seal the deal, a voice yelled from across the street, "Alastor?!" The man immediately turned to the voice. He frowned, yet his smile is still present. "Damn it, this isn't ideal...," he murmered, looking at (Y/n) who took their hand back. Their focus was now on the two figure strolling over, Mimzy and Rosie to be exact. "Alastor sweetie!" Mimzy called, "what'cha doing with such a lovely sinner?" "We are not interrupting, right?" Rosie asked, glancing at both (Y/n) and Alastor. "Actually-" "Oh no, not at all," (Y/n) cut him off, "but who are you guys exactly?" Alastor scowled deeply.
"I'm Rosie and this is Mimzy. We are both good friends of Alastor's," she explained. "Not after this you are...," Alastor quietly remarked. Mimzy gasped, "So we are interrupting! Gosh Alastor, I would have never expected you to be the romantic type." "Say what now?" Both (Y/n) and Alastor asked simultaneously. Rosie commented, "Are you not on a date?" This made (Y/n) flush a little. I mean, Alastor did call it a rendezvous, but they thought it was just some old-timey way of saying 'hanging out'. Alastor picked up on the reaction and had an idea. "Why yes!" He declared, taking (Y/n)'s hand, "We were having a lovely little date that has been interrupted by your presence." "Wait what-" "Oh dear, we are so sorry! We'll leave right away," Rosie apologised, quickly with leaving with Mimzy in tow.
(Y/n) kept watching their retreating figures, whilst Alastor continued eating. Looking down (Y/n) noticed Alastor still had their hand in his. They took it back, making the Overlord's gaze turn to them. "What's the matter, dear?" He asked, finding their nervous expression amusing. "Don't take it the wrong way, but I didn't think of this as a date," (Y/n) explained, "I've only been down here for like two days anyway.." Alastor nodded, feigning compassion, "That is very understandable, my dear and I am completely fine with that, but you said, you wanted to be more carefree, right?" (Y/n) hummed in agreement, finishing their food. "This could be a good starting point, don't you think?" Alastor asked, finishing his meal as well. Playing with the table cloth, (Y/n) avoided his piercing gaze. They just couldn't believe the sheer luck that cursed them, because if Alastor wants them romantically, does that night mean Vox wants them too?
They have no idea what is considered normal behaviour. To be fair, they have only been here for two days, but even then all they hear is insane shit from anyone who opens their mouth. Alastor does have a valid point, however... "I'm sorry," (Y/n) stood up, fishing out some stolen money from their pocket before putting it down on the table, "I think we should end this here." Alastor looked very surprised. He doesn't think anyone has ever rejected him before. Of course, it was either due to fear or for his charismatic personality. Has he gone rusty over the 7 years? Nevertheless, he continued on, "Alright, as you wish, dear. Allow me to pay for the meals." "No, no," (Y/n) countered, "I don't..." They sighed, struggling to talk at all.
Alastor remained seated, pulling out his wallet to leave his half of the bill on the table as well. "Then allow me to at least escort you back to the hotel," he requested, his tone shifting into something more soothing. It made (Y/n) tense up. "Listen, when I say we end it here, I'm saying we go our separate ways," they explained, adding, "I will still come back to the hotel. I just need some space is all." Alastor stood up perplexed. He was sure he couldn't have messed up that badly. "Why is that, might I ask?" His strained voice asked. Gulping nervously (Y/n) found his grin now to be very unsettling. "I don't wanna give you some sort of false hope," they began, fiddling with the card, "And I wanna go to Vox anyway..." "That picture box?" Alastor asked, clearly annoyed. "Yes, I know you don't like him, but I wanna meet the guy." (Y/n)'s response quieted Alastor down and made him so still in fact, they believed he went catatonic.
Just as (Y/n) thought to just leave, Alastor adjusted his coat with a huff, "Very well, if you desire to visit that nuisance, I suppose there is nothing I can do." They sighed before shrieking back when Alastor gently tapped their nose with his staff. "Be warned however," he stated, "He might not be in control of his emotions as much as I am. After all..." Alastor couldn't help, but laugh as he thought back to rejecting Vox's offer to join the Vees, "He is far more prone to deluding himself in a perfect image before realising reality can be much different." (Y/n) raised an eyebrow and replied, "Alright then... Glad you're not mad or anything." "Me? Mad?" Alastor laughed loudly, "At best I might be a tad jealous that you'd prefer getting yourself in trouble instead of relaxing on such a fine day with me, but alas, for our relationship to properly establish I believe I need to trust your judgement and let you do your own mistakes."
(Y/n) pressed their lips together into a fine line at the word 'relationship'. They hoped, he was saying that for a platonic relationship. "I'm gonna get going now," (Y/n) began, exiting the little restaurant with Alastor in tow, "For what it's worth, it was quite pleasant hanging out with you." They smiled at him which made the Overlord smile in return. "I agree, however please do consider our deal." (Y/n) looked confused before remembering the deal they almost agreed on. "Oh yeah! We can do that handshake thing after I visited Vox." Alastor nodded, although he would have certainly preferred doing it sooner rather than later. Both departed in opposite direction. The Overlord thought he might as well use the opportunity and search for Mimzy as well as Rosie. They need to know to not interfere his outings with (Y/n) for the future.
In the meantime the cameras of VoxTech picked up on (Y/n) leaving cannibal district. Vox, who was slumped on his desk, consumed by his irritating thoughts, sat up straight as a beep alerted of him. He rubbed his eyes before focusing on the screen. "They are moving...," he absentmindedly spoke as he realised what they were holding. "Oh shit," Vox cursed standing up and looking around, "They are headed this way. I need to clean up! I need to look my best! I need-" He stopped himself and took a deep breath, "I need to present VoxTech as a far more reliable option than the Hotel..." With a now much clearer mind, Vox made his office more suitable for guests.
(Y/n) on the other hand had a lot of trouble finding the adress. "This sucks...," they mumbled, noticing a sinner on the side of the road, "Ah! Excuse me, do you know-" "Get lost, asshole," he cut them off. Snarling (Y/n) grew in a couple of feet, monstrous features growing as well. The sinner cowered in fright at the sight, screaming in fear as (Y/n) brutally snapped their back in half before consuming them whole. After gulping down their meal, (Y/n) returned to their normal form. "So rude...," they murmered, burping  as well as gagging, "Ah..., ugh also disgusting..." (Y/n) continued their journey, eating up any sinner who didn't give them directions. Thus they subsequently gained more power, however they would prefer to not get too full.
Just as they were about to give up completely, they saw the VoxTech sign in the near distance. A grin stretched onto their features as they headed straight to the building. VoxTech was huge, adorned with pretty lights and an overall sleek design. (Y/n) couldn't help, but find very flashy. "Vox doesn't seem like such a show off though...," they thought as they entered. The interior was coloured a light pink with a couple couches and plants as decoration. Of course, cameras were in every corner. (Y/n) grinned, flipping one camera off. In the middle of it all was the receptionist who was filing her nails. "Uh hi...," (Y/n) greeted, noting how the woman behind the desk seemed annoyed, "Can I see Vox, please?" She stopped, giving them an unbothered look before sighing excessively, "Name and time of appointment." "Oh uh, I got no appointment. Vox told me to visit him whenever. Though my name is-," they tried explaining but got cut off by the woman.
She laughed lowly, "Sorry, sweetheart, but move along. Mister Vox has no time for some delusional fan." (Y/n) scowled, their nose scrunching up as they growled, "I'm not someone you should laugh at. Now tell me where I can find him." The receptionist looked now annoyed. "Look, if you're not going willingly, I'm just gonna call security," she heaved a warning, adding, "Now scram, bitch." (Y/n)'s form started changing as their height grew and monstrous features became more present. "What did you call me?!" They yelled, baring all their teeth. Just as security arrived, so did Vox through one of the cameras. "(Y/n)!" He called out, making the sinner return to their regular form, "I would prefer you to not eat my incompetent employee." A wave of Vox's hand stopped the security officers and they quickly left. The receptionist however cowered as Vox towered over her.
He raised an eyebrow at her. "I'm sorry, Sir. I thought they were just some-" "Just some fan," Vox smiled condescendingly, "Yes, yes, I heard that." He finally turned to (Y/n) a suave smirk on his lips. "My apologies, it seems a certain employee still has a lot to learn about how to treat guests," Vox softly spoke, stretching out his arm for (Y/n) to take. They rolled their eyes, still taking the offer. "It's fine," (Y/n) chuckled, "To be honest, this reminds me of when we first met." The comment had Vox almost break character as he quietly groaned, "Don't remind me..." (Y/n) laughed a little, relaxing as well. He smirked in return, "Let's go, shall we?" (Y/n) nodded, following Vox into a hall that lead to the enormous glass elevators which had a nice view on the streets.
A comfortable silence fell upon the two as the elevator took them up to the highest floor. Allowing their thoughts to just wander, (Y/n)'s eyes scanned over Hell's street. They were filthy, but at least the people walking around looked amusingly small, just like ants in fact. They looked far cuter from high up. Soft touches brought them back to reality. Vox was mindlessly stroking their hand gently. A brief glance up to Vox followed which he shortly noticed. He lightly smiled before looking back at the streets. This made (Y/n) frown as they took back their arm and put a stop to the soft touches.
Vox didn't protest. He just put his hands into his coat's pockets. The air grew slightly awkward after, but the journey came to end anyway. When (Y/n) stepped out though, they couldn't believe their eyes. The room was so large. It was like nothing to what they used to have growing up. Especially the huge screens accompanied by the just as huge desk made their breath hitch. There was also a dark blue couch with a small coffee table in front of it which looked very expensive. On the small table were also champagne, glasses and... "Queef?!" Vox called, panic surging through his cables, "What're you doing here?" Immediately he went and took the creature from the table. It barked, fidgeting in Vox's grasp. "What is that?" (Y/n) asked, finding amusement in the TV's frustration. Groaning Vox replied, "A Queef. It's the pet of my business partner." He quietly mumbled, "Why the fuck would Val leave him for me to babysit now?" Swiftly the Overlord went to the elevator and let Queef zip down to another floor.
Just as swiftly he went to his computer, typing away. (Y/n), in the meantime, opted to take a seat and pour themself a drink. The screen changed suddenly, displaying a very well dressed woman. "Ew, get that shit out of my face," she yelled before turning her attention to Vox, who had a scowl on his face, "What do you want?" "Val left Queef here. Take care of him for me, will ya?" He requested to be only met with a frown. "Why?" She drawled out, "Queef is gonna make a fucking mess in my studio." "Well, I have a guest to entertain, so-" "Oh, is it your crush?" She cut him off, making him chocke on air. "No, Velvet! They can hear you!" Vox stated, his voice taking on more white noise. "Oh!" Velvet came closer to the camera, noticing (Y/n) in the background, "Hi darling!" (Y/n) merely waved as they happily took another sip of champagne. Vox on the other hand simply stated, "He is already on his way, so take care of him. Okay, bye~!" "Wait, what-" The screen went black and Vox heaved a sigh before turning to (Y/n) with a strained grin.
Chuckling he smoothly spoke, "It seems we are cursed, sweetheart." "So it seems," they hummed, setting their glass down, "Good choice of alcohol. Want me to pour you a glass too?" Vox nodded, sitting down next to them, casually draping his arm over the couch. (Y/n) hand him his glass from which he took a healthy sip. "Thanks," Vox said, allowing himself to clear his throat, "So how has Hell been treating you so far?" He crossed his legs, leaning further to (Y/n). "Must have been rough if you came to me so fast," he mused, chuckling a little. (Y/n) shook their head, an easy smile on their lips. "Not at all, to be honest Hell has been far more soft to me than Earth has been," they replied, making Vox raise an eyebrow.
"Back on Earth I had to keep track of everyone and everything around to, you know, not get caught killing," they explained, relaxing into the couch, "but I don't have to worry here. I can eat whoever pretty much." (Y/n) laughed a little, thinking back to the times they had nightmares about getting caught and how silly it all seems now. After taking another sip, Vox set his glass aside. "So what I am hearing you came to gain more power to eat more folks?" He asked. Shaking their head (Y/n) explained, "No, no, I wanted to ask you to search for a person." Vox blinked a few times, "Huh?" "It's my little sister," (Y/n) began, "she died before I did and I just wanna know if she is down here or went to heaven." This made Vox pause who had several thoughts enter his mind.
After a brief moment, he took their hand and squeezed it gently, "I get that, but you should know that extermination exists where angels come down from heaven to slaughter sinners, so... you know." Placing their other hand on his (Y/n) softly tapped on it reassuringly. "Yes, I'm aware. Alastor explained that to me before," they said, noting how Vox's eye twitched for a moment, "But I thought you might have a database or something. You seem like the sort of guy with that kinda power." Chuckling lowly, Vox replied, "While I appreciate the compliment, I don't have such a database, I'm afraid." (Y/n)'s small smile faded at the revelation which made Vox frown a little. "Don't worry though, sweetheart," Vox quickly added, "I am well connected as an Overlord and I can gather as much info as possible for you." (Y/n)'s eyes filled with glee as they held onto Vox's hands brought them up to their chest in excitement. "Really?!" They asked, pure hope lacing their voice.
It made Vox screen glitch for a moment before he stuttered out, "Ye-Yeah, it's no big deal." Not being able to control their joy, probably due to the alcohol, (Y/n) hugged Vox tightly. The man yelped. His system started overheating and his screen had warnings appear of possible a shutdown. Pushing them back a little, Vox hit the side of his head to get his screen working again. "Oh sorry," (Y/n) mumbled. Vox shook his head, partially to show it's fine, but also to make his head clearer. "It's alright. It's not the first someone threw themself onto me," he laughed, but stopped as soon as he saw the joke didn't land with (Y/n). Clearing his throat, Vox stated, "I don't offer my help for free though. In Hell everything comes with a price." This made (Y/n) heave a small sigh.
They took a big gulp from their glass. "Alright, what do you want from me?" They asked, tapping their heel on the floor, "My soul?" "Oh hell no," Vox laughed, a genuine smile present on his face, "I'd just want you to join the Vees." "And what would that entail? Like what am I required to do?" They continued inquiring, thinking back to Alastor's deal. "Well, you would have to attend our meetings and participate in keeping VoxTech's reputation high," he explained smirking, "Of course, you would be entitled to ask for help from any of the other Vees within reason." (Y/n) thought over everything that was said.
It sounded like a regular networking organisation. "I would be an equal member to everyone else, correct?" Vox nodded, enjoying (Y/n) focused expression. "Honestly, sounds fine to me," they began, "but I would like to not be forced to go to the meetings." Vox frowned, "And why might that be?" "I have to spend time with Alastor whenever he wants," (Y/n) answered, making Vox grip on the couch tightly. "What?" He meekly asked. "Yeah, I got a deal going on with him," (Y/n) explained, noticing Vox ripping into the couch, "We haven't shaken hands on it, but I'm considering it." Taking a deep breath, Vox tried gathering his cool. He chuckled lowly, "You can't be serious." "I'm very serious. I know you don't like the guy," (Y/n) began gently. "That puts it fucking lightly...," Vox mumbled, gulping down the last bit of champagne from his glass.
(Y/n) huffed, "But I need as much help in finding her as I can get. It's also not like that deal would bind us forever, so it's fine." "No, it's not fine," Vox smiled condescendingly, "See, that's why you should trust me. Alastor didn't tell you he could just drag his feet on the matter, did he?" This made (Y/n) speechless. They didn't think through that, huh? There really is nothing really stopping him from dragging his feet, but he made it sound like he'd put effort in. "And what's with your offer then? You could drag your feet as well!" (Y/n) retorted, feeling a little embarrassed. "Heh, sure, but what harm would it do to you?" Vox asked, grinning sweetly, "All you are supposed to do is attend meetings and uphold the reputation of VoxTech. You don't have to do anything else!"
Feeling pretty out of their element, (Y/n) simply huffed, crossing their arms. "Whatever, I'll make a deal with whoever I want!" They stated, making Vox fume. "So you're telling me," he started, adjusting in his seat to face (Y/n) better, "You're just gonna bind yourself to that fucking asshole and be fine with it?!" (Y/n) stayed silent, only giving Vox an annoyed stare. This ticked Vox off quite a bit. "I swear if you weren't that powerful, I would just hit you...," he mumbled, curling his hands into fists. "You'd hit me?!" (Y/n) asked aggressively. Vox took a deep breath before yelling back, "Of course! Maybe a good hit will make you realise how dumb it would be to make a deal with that old-timey radio freak!" "Maybe you're right... Fuck," they mumbled. "Of course, I'm right!" Vox retorted, waving his arms in frustration.
Heaving a sigh through their lips, (Y/n) calmed down. Vox followed suit, realising he might have gone a bit too far with his antics. "You know what?" (Y/n) spoke, standing up, "I'll consider it, but I think I need to sleep over this before shaking on anything." The Overlord nodded, relaxing into his seat, "Fine by me, sweetheart. I just want you to know, there is always gonna another side of the deal to consider." "Yeah, yeah, mister fancy pants," (Y/n) replied, holding into their head, "Fuck, I think I'm getting a headache..." Looking back the sinner was about to bid goodbye, but then their gaze fell onto the half full bottle of champagne. "You still need that?" They asked, pointing at the bottle. Vox rolled his eyes. "Just take it." "Sweet!" (Y/n) smiled, taking the bottle, "Thanks! Sorry for yelling by the way..." "No problem, sweetheart," Vox laughed, "To be fair, I should also apologise."
(Y/n) waited, but was only met with silence. "So?" They asked, noting how Vox's grin got bigger. "I said I should, not that I would," Vox laughed loudly at his own little joke. (Y/n) just groaned, but couldn't help the smile forming. "Well!" They said, stretching their arms, "Thanks for the hospitality and alcohol. It was fun hanging out with you." "Of course, babe," Vox smirked, "You should visit more often in future." "Maybe I will," (Y/n) replied, heading to the elevator. Vox followed them and went down as well. As he put it, it is the gentlemanly thing to do, is it not? Even though (Y/n) was ready to just walk back to the hotel, Vox insisted taking his car. Naturally it came with his personal chauffeur as well.
Feeling a little overwhelmed, (Y/n) simply agreed and let the chauffeur drive them to the hotel. Vox waved goodbye as the car drove off. At first he didn't notice the genuine smile on his face, but when he headed back inside he noticed his face reflected on the glass of the elevator. Quickly Vox shook his head trying to fight the warm feeling in his chest. He is the Vox. He is an Overlord among sinners, a powerful being that is feared. A powerful new-comer should not effect him this badly, but... As he looked out the glass elevator, Vox looked for the car. He found it and smiled lightly. Maybe it's fine. Maybe he can make it work.
Vox concluded he needed to drink a little more.

light shower
it was no surprise that after your months of tenure in fontaine, he had taken a keen interest in you. lyney was never the type to trust someone so swiftly, never mind actually becoming enamored with another. due to his past, he had become accustomed to being wary of others. he learned to only put faith in his kin, and take heed to anyone outside of the house. but you gave him a different perspective. a different angle on the way he viewed others.
though he knew that the way you looked upon him would forever be tainted by the fact that he was apart of the fatui, he felt quite the opposite since the trial. his infatuation with you had been accumulating for the last couple weeks. and honestly, he couldn’t view you as anything less than un saint. absolutely everything about you made his heart glow. the way your skin shimmered in the late afternoon sun, how your laugh echoed throughout his mind on repeat, your slick remarks. any and every part of you had him head over heels.
it frightened him to think of how much you had taken over his consciousness. his entire life he had to consider his family’s wellbeing. ‘will me and lynette have something to eat tonight? how much longer will we have to go through this?’ as a child. and as an adult, he prayed every twilight that the time that he will have to take father’s place will not be soon. he would never let anyone see this vulnerable side of him. he couldn’t lose face in front of his siblings, and especially not you or his audience. to him, you were light itself.
“was this your card?” lyney inquired, holding a 3 of hearts on showcase for all the children flocked around him to see. a little boy at the front of the crowd exclaimed in surprise and delight at the magician’s correct hunch about his card. lyney smiled a bit while the group of kids exchanged “oohs” and “ahs”. he shushed them gently, drawing their attention to the front. lyney balled up the card in his gloved hand, and told the youth to watch closely. as he prepared his trick, he saw you out the corner of his periwinkle shaded eyes. you were exiting the aquabus and saw him sitting on a bench, entertaining the children with simple tricks. lyney smirked and gave you a small wave with his free hand, and then diverted his attention back to the ones in front of him. he shook his clenched hand and opened it, revealing a dozen small golden butterflies. your mouth hung agape. you wondered how he did it while continuing to walk towards lyney. he looked back at you again while giving thanks to his minuscule audience for watching him. they all flocked off to their parents, while he stood up to greet you.
“well what do i have the honors of seeing you here today?” he quipped at you with his usual joyful persona. he extended his palm to you, inviting you to shake his hand. you took it, and felt a little surprised at him suddenly gripping your hand. he gazed into your eyes and you felt a pit of nervousness in your stomach. your eyes met and you gave him a look of confusion, communicating non-verbally. he sustained your gaze, making you feel a little flustered. you couldn’t pinpoint why. suddenly, he let go and in the palm of your hand, you saw the petals of a marcotte. you eyed it in surprise, while lyney giggled at your amazement. he also giggled at how cute your expressions had been, but he would be the only one to know that. “you weren’t expecting that, were you?” he questioned. “yes actually….i think i’ve gotten to know your behaviors pretty well, lyney”. something about your snarky replies to him made his heart flutter. the way you gave him knowing looks, made sarcastic remarks, and—
“lyney? hello??” your sudden interjection made him snap back into reality. “oh…my apologies..” he quickly let go of your hand and gave a shaky smile. “i zoned out for a bit.. anyway since you’re here, would you fancy taking a walk around the court with me? my day is pretty empty today.” he rambled. “i finished my commissions for the day, so i think i’ll take you up on that offer.” you softly smiled and put the petals in your pocket for keepsake. lyney grinned and led the way towards the marketplace of the court. you spent a couple hours looking around at the shops, trying various snacks, and generally just messing around with your companion. as he watched you try on different accessories within the shops, he couldn’t help but admire you. “quel spectacle pour les yeux de sorr…”
“huh? what does that mean?” lyney jolted, realizing that he had said that out loud. he turned away from you, embarrassed of what he just said. he spun a quick white lie about how it means the clothes in the shop are nice. you didn’t question it anymore but was a little confused about the way he reacted. the two of you eventually left the little shop and discussed where to traverse from there. lyney noticed it wouldn’t be long until sunset, so he took your hand gently as if it was a reflex and led you towards the aquabus station.
“let me take you one last place before our rendezvous ends.”
your trip on the aquabus was headed towards the beryl region of fontaine. lyney still would not tell you where he was bringing you even after your myriad of protests. you finally gave up as you listened to the sound of the ocean and admired the scenic views around you. lyney too, was enjoying the view, but not of the natural scenery. he was taking every opportunity to steal a glance at you. you noticed he was being unusually quiet and turned to eye him. he had his chin resting in his palm, and he was looking at you with a calm but intent face. you had never seen him so quiet. his cheeks were the slightest shade of pink, and his periwinkle eyes narrowed down and relaxed. his lips had a very soft and subtle smile to them. you had never seen him like this. he always had his performer persona on; projecting his voice, engaging dialogue, and a wide smile always spread on his face. in the middle of you observing and analyzing him, he had stopped staring and was trying to get your attention.
“(name)? are you alright?”
you snapped out of your trance, a little embarrassed by your faux pas. “sorry lyney, i got…lost in thought. anyway, are we close?”
“why? already ready to depart from our outing?” he retorted teasingly. you scoffed and rolled your eyes in a joking way. “yeah, you aren’t the best shopping companion.” he facetiously pushed you a little, the both of you laughing heartily. you noticed that the ride was now over and the melusine guide had thanked you both for riding. lyney thanked the driver and led you off the bus and to the garden of the opera epiclese, your final destination. the sun had already started to set so you both walked with haste to admire the different flora growing. while you bent down and looked at the plethora of flowers around, lyney snuck off to pluck one of his favorites, a rainbow rose. he hid it up his sleeve to prepare to bid you adieu.
“to mark the end of this joyous day we’ve had with eachother, i’d like to have a finale with one last magic trick. if that’s okay with you?”
you turned to him, and stood up to talk to him. “i didn’t know you had a trick for me today too? i’d love to see it.” he looked at you with a expression of content and happiness. “i’d never leave my audience with a bad impression would i? now, look here.” just as he was about to start, it started to lightly rain. “perfect timing…” he said begrudgingly. “come, i don’t want you to get sick. let me take you home.” he grabbed your hand, this time gently intertwining your fingers with his. he lead you home in a hurry. his grip on your hand slowly got stronger, but not to the point where it caused pain. in all honesty, it gave you a warm feeling inside. you eventually reached the hotel, a little wet but there nonetheless. you smiled at him and thanked him for the day out.
“well (name), i had a ton of fun with you too.. and before i forget.” his words trailed off and he took your free hand and placed his on top. “i have a gift for you, make sure to check under your pillow before you go to sleep.” he let go, then pulled you into a hug that caught you off guard, but you didn’t mind. he pulled away after a couple of beats and then looked at you inquisitively. “i see something in your hair, allow me to get it out.” he got closer and fidgeted with whatever was on your crown. the feeling of his hair brushing against your face felt interestingly intimate. you felt your cheeks grow warm, but brushed it off. he backed up and had a rainbow rose in his hand just like the first one he had gifted you. “tada! i know it isn’t anything big, but i just wanted…to show you how much i appreciated today.” his energy shifted to a much more timid one, something out of character for him. you smiled and looked at him kindly. everything you wanted to say at that moment was written on your face. he returned your smile and traced circles along your knuckles; you had just realized he was still holding your hand. he let go and jumped right back into his usual antics. “sweet dreams to you. hopefully we can have another day like this some other time?” he left, leaving his question rhetorical.
you ended up lingering outside the entrance, watching him walk away until you could only see a dot in the distance. you went inside and checked in, then going to your room upstairs. you freshened up and got ready for bed, thoughts of him frequently crossing your mind. you sighed and plopped down in bed exhausted. you heard something crinkle under your pillow and in that moment you recalled what he had told you. you sat up and reached under the pillow. you had uncovered a folded up note and a (now mushed..) rainbow rose. you were puzzled on how it had got there but shook the thought. you opened the note slowly;
(name), i can hardly express how much you’ve brightened up my life. in just these past few months, i’ve learned to bring my guard down, at least a little bit… i feel i only feel safe around my siblings. i still need to learn how to be vulnerable around others, even my family. but i think that if things continue the way they are, i may be able to open up to them…and maybe even you, if you’re okay with it? i’m sorry if this letter is a downer, but i just wanted to tell you.
tu as vraiment illuminé ma vie depuis peu. tout en toi brille. ta peau au soleil, tes yeux, tes cheveux, ta personnalité brillent. je voulais juste te faire prendre conscience de combien tu m'as impacté ces derniers temps. tu seras toujours la lumière de ma vie.
avec amour et lumière, lyney

Neuvillette - part 2 --------------------
coat, spare compass, hair clips, eyeliner and your bag. Shit you have your bag. The stress was high this morning. Rummaging around your house completely forgetting how you got ready with the same routine you had for the past 8 years. Why was today different? Theres been plenty of times where your schedule had been thrown off and you dealt with it like a badass.
"For god sake...my badge.." sighing to yourself, dropping the bag and running back upstairs for 'fontaine community helper badge.' Something youve been proud of since the day you got it. From Chevreuse herself. Just about to head out the door you stop once again. "My bag." You felt like punching yourself in the head.
Rushing through the city of fontaine, the day seemed quite pleasant today. Sure you were stressed, acting like the whole world was about to collapse, the whether was just unimaginably beautiful.
There had only been one time where you were in Neuvillettes Office. Months ago. With a huge group of people. What if this time is different. What if its just you and him? Like you care, he probably just wants a quick chat about yesterday. Finally making the destination, the huge blue pearl doors open with ease. Melusines protecting the perimeter of the entrance.
"Good morning guys" you smile to the cute elements. The melusine smiles back brightly, his pink fur shining from the reflection of the sun. He bows his head and accompanies you to the front desk, where you was met by another melusine.
The melusine at the front desk 'dena' greets you. "Ahh you're here because neuvillette requested you." Dena smiles, and writes your name down on the clipboard wedged up by a pencil case on the desk.
She gets up from her seat as she comes round. Her big eyes look up at you, glittering with happiness. "I will fetch monsieur neuvillette, he might take some time. Would you like to take a seat" she gestures towards the seating area just across from neuvillettes office door. "Thankyou miss." You smile.
Carefully taking a seat you rest your hand on your lap. How come you're suddenly sitting like youre the most formal person in the world. "Oh my, you're nervous?" A high pitched voice comes from the left of you.
You almost fell off the soft cushioned seat by the sudden voice. You chuckle awkwardly. Which was out of character. Massively. It was the melusine from outside the building.
"You scared me heh.." taking a deep exhale, calming your nerves. The melusine fails to hide his laugh. "Personally i dont think i look that intimidating." The melusine replies. You give a polite smile, glad to have a little company whilst you wait for neuvillette. Your eyes wander down towards the melusines uniform, his name card pinned to the top left of his shirt. "Rowan, thats a nice name, you look like a rowan." You jokingly say, pointing towards the miniscule pinned metal. He chuckles and fidgets with the namecard, tightening the grip on his uniform.
You feel a random palm on your shoulder. The same feeling from yesterday. That could only mean...
"You have made it. That could only mean you recieved my letter." A soothing tone comes from behind you. Your eyes dart to the slender hand on your shoulder. "Neuvillette.."
You both walk towards his office, as Rowan goes back on patrol outside. Dena holds the door for both you. "All thanks Dena, you are free to go have a break if you wish." Neuvillette suggests as he sends the melusine off.
We both watch as she skips joyful towards the exit of the office. The smile from neuvillette could be heard by a mile away. "I was worried the message wouldnt of been sent off in time. Luckily for us both, it was." He states, taking a slow pace towards the fancy cupboard on the right side of his office. You take a moment to look around, it looked pretty much the same, boring fancy glasses, books and tables. Nothing from the usual.
"Yeah...you had my whole schedule off board this morning." You lightly joke, offering yourself a seat on sofas to the other side of his office. He chuckles softly, grabbing a glass bottle from said cupboard. "You are good at handing situation, so i knew it wasnt too much of a bother. In some cases." Neuvillette takes the bottle and unscrews the lid. This little shit was about to have a drink at 10am in the morning. You wasnt having it.
"Didn't take you as a morning drinker, neuvillette." You ask with quite shock, eyeing up the bottle he had in his hand. It was too far away to read the label. He turns, his gaze on yours. "You're from monstatd arent you? Im assuming you know their water is one of the best.." his expression completely doe eyed and polite, per usual.
Your face drops, suddenly the boring fancy books on the shelves were more interesting to look at. Neuvillette makes his way towards the settee and takes a seat next to you. Placing the glass of water, that was in a wine glass by the way, on the dark oaked table. "Not a water lover I assume." His smile is small, and his eyes on you as he asks the question. Thats another thing that irritated you. His soft blue eyes. Making him look like hes innocent and noble.
You shake your head. "I wouldnt say i take my time to try and pick out uneccesery details." laying back on the sofa, keeping my eyes forward. A chuckle was heard from the right. You just knew that idiot was secretly mocking you, like you was dumb, young, not wise enough to understand. "Anyway, you needed me. For what?" You ask, turning your head to the side to look at him. Before speaking neuvillette takes a sip of his water, your eyes on his lips as he slowly savours the clear liquid. Eyes shut softly, head leant back slightly.
Its so elegant, the way he drinks. You take another 5 seconds to look at him before his eyes open again. Not wanting to get caught staring. Not like you was. Why would you do that? You didnt even like him anyway. Just because you both have the same views on melusines and fontains future. Didnt mean jack shit.
"Ah yes, from my intake on yesterdays incident, i assumed-" a long sigh leaves your lips as you interrupt neuvillette. "Im leaving if you're going to start lecturing me on this again." Said in a bratty attitude, you didnt actually mean for it to come out like that.
[Authors note: sorry for suddenly changing tenses. Its easier to write it this way :D enjoy the story ♡]
I could feel neuvillettes dagger eyes from here, he didnt appreciate that tone at all. With a slightly raised tone: "I assumed that you would be a good companion for this next court case." He firmly states. His eyes still peeled on mine. Looking away with shame, my eyes were glued to everywhere else but neuvillettes. "I-im sorry. I shouldn't of butted in." I may be a very straight forward person but ill be the first to take accountability if im in the wrong.
"And you will do everything in your power to make sure it doesn't happen again." Neuvillettes dark tone speaks. The way he said it sent shivers down my spine. Quick to humble me, he always was...
I quickly felt my face go a bright pink, i loved confrontation but receiving it was a completely different story. Neuvillettes tone lowers down, as he takes another sip of the crystal clear water.
I had completely made things awkward now. And feeling so bad about it aswell. He actually wants me to help. To believe in me. But why. Its a waste of time. "A court case..about what." I ask curiously. The vibe had settled down a little after my blip. "You can assist me with the evidence in todays trial against the treasure hoarders." Neuvillette informs. Handing me the glass he was just drinking out of. As if hes offering me something that i can just get from a tap. Without the extra 60,000 mora he probably paid for it.
"Oh yeah, sure ill help. Will chevreuse be on the case as well?" I ask, bringing the glass closer to my lips, i take a gulp of the water. "We could pay her a visit, she can reccomend any help shes willing to give."
I take a glance at his face, whys he giving me that look? Like im an idiot. Once again. Im going to kill this man...
"Did I say something wrong?" I curiously ask. He gives an elegant soft chuckle. "You're drinking the water wrong." This man puzzles me. Its not wine, its water.
Neuvillette leans in and places a hand around the glass of water that i was holding. He slowly brings the cup to my mouth and begins to carefully pour the water. "Open up...Its not about what you drink, its about how you drink it." His voice barely a whisper. Oh my god... why is this man feeding me water. What is he doing? Making my face go red on purpose. Why am i suddenly embarrassed.
His eyes glued to my lips as he watches the water flow through the creases of my lips. "Did that seem to taste any different than before?" He asks innocently, placing the glass back on the table. I cant say anything, im just wide eyed and silent. Neuvillette gives a small smile, "oh my.. your cheeks have gone rosey. Are you unwell?" I cant tell if hes joking or being serious. I cover my cheeks with the ends of my fingers. They felt warm to the touch.
"Maybe its the water you forced down my throat." I scowl slightly. Neuvillette chuckles and pulls a face as if to say 'of course she would reply with something like that.' He stands up and walks towards his desk, reaching a file from one of the drawers. "This is everything we need to know about the case so far, have a look. Then we shall set off." He informs. I take the file and begin to scan through the information.
The paperwork just explained pretty much everything that went on yesterday. "Theres so many details missing?" I announce, pointing towards the ink written words. Neuvillette nods and takes the file back. "Thats why its vital we talk to any witnesses. Including you and Navia. So we shall head there first." He announces, readjusting the collar of his blazer.

"Can I get a whiskey sour?"
You asked the bartender, three drinks lying by your arm on the bar as you felt a little buzzed, but other than that you were doing fine. You smiled as he made the drink and placed it in front of you, downing the alcohol within seconds, slamming it back down onto the counter.
You were at an after-party with the band, celebrating the end of another successful concert and another successful night. The place chosen, by tom of course, was a club with plenty of female entertainment. It didn't quite intrigue you though, your interests set...somewhere else.
A tall man with black hair and a sexy voice, to be more detailed.
You had loved him since day one, he was so kind and sweet to everyone, always treating the person he was with carefully with the utmost respect.
It made you head over heels for him, but you weren't sure if he reciprocated the feelings you had. He was so nice to you, but he tended to seem more interested in women than he was with yourself.
You didn't mind, until tonight, where he sat all alone, sipping on a drink while his brother was getting grinded on by some hooker, smiling drunkenly in pleasure.
You turned your barstool around and hopped off, making your way through the sweaty, dancing crowd over to him, and plopping down on the seat next to him, his eyes darting to you as you caressed his thigh. "hey billy"
you purred in his ear, nibbling on his earlobe as he blushed profusely. 'h-hi y/n" he stuttered nervously.
your hand drifted away from his thigh, going up to his semi-hard crotch and you began to rub it through his black jeans, grinning wickedly as you saw his body jerk and his eyes role backwards.
"how are you?" you asked, his lips wide open sluttily as his eyes closed from the pleasure. "g-good" he murmured, his cock now fully hard. "mm, that's nice to hear" you whispered sensually, palming his cock faster as he moaned.
you brought your lips to his, the softness meeting yours as you made out with him, still rubbing on his poor dick :(
he moaned into your mouth, allowing your tongue to slip in and roam around his mouth, pressing your lips further into his, wrapping your hand around his waist, holding him close
"haah" he struggled to keep up with the kisses, being too close to bliss to be bothered.
His release was fast approaching, his moans more desperate and throaty as your mouth left his, leaving a gentle kiss on his shoulder as you bit gently, causing him to cum in his pants as he shook.
"y-y/n" "yes billy?" "c-can we go back to your house?"
then yall fucked nastily 😝
The next day the five of you were seated at an interview, smiling as the fans cheered for tom and bill the most.
The interviewer greeted you all with a joyful face, and pulled the cards from the table, and asked you a few, concerning the band's next concert, where the next tour was going to be, and about tom's sex life.
After those questions, his gaze drifted to you, and you met his eyes with confusion. you weren't usually asked questions being the vocalist.
"so y/n, i heard you had a little fun last night" he winked to you and bill, and you flushed, immediately denying the statement as the rest of the band looked intrigued.
you laughed, trying to play it off. "i'm not sure what you're talking about" you attempted to lighten the air.
"are you sure?" the interviewer pressed. "can we pull up the pictures?" he asked and soon, the scenes of your escapade at the club were displayed for everyone.
you glanced over at them, and then at bill, who was hiding his face, his cheeks flushed dark red.
"do you know what i'm talking about now?"

HARD CATCH
vampire!yeonjun x human!reader
— After getting kicked out of his clan due to his excessive bloodlust, 400 year old Choi Yeonjun moves to a small city in hopes for a new start. Though, disguising himself has a human was an all new challenge for him, especially when you come into the picture. Innocent, lively, and joyful, you were. But his interest didn’t come from that. It came from how sweet your blood smelled and just how much he wanted to taste it, but unknowingly, you made it a challenging task for him to get you alone.
genre: smut, fluff, unrequited enemies to unrequited friends to unrequited lovers to actual lovers lmao
warnings: mentions of blood and blood sucking, cursing, Yeonjun does NOT like you at first, oral (fem receiving), mentions of vampire role play, rough sex, crying during sex, overstimulation, rimming, slight dirty talk, passing out, suggestions of mlm and polyamory near the end
other main character(s): Skz Felix
words: 9.1k (not edited)
Yeonjun felt like this was the start of his fourth life. After four hundred years of living on this earth, he was starting again in a whole new place. It wasn't his choice, though. More of...the consequences of his actions.
It was tiring to play the human game again.
He had moved into his new apartment, the process consisting of compelling the person who lived here before him. He didn't do much, honestly, all he did was tell them to go far, far away and never come back.
The rent was cheap and the apartment already came with a full set of furniture, so he was set.
The only problem he had, was the fact that feeding wasn't going to be easy for him. Since he had to pretend to be human for as long as he could, he had to be more meticulous with it. It was the fastest way to lead to starvation, yet it was one of the basic rules all vampires had to follow. Otherwise, you forever get abandoned by your clan.
With curiosity, Yeonjun found himself in the lobby of his apartment, going through the previous owner's mail. He frowned, seeing mail pertaining to credit cards and bank loans. Did he fuck up and steal a broke man's apartment? What if he hadn't paid rent? What's Yeonjun supposed to do about that, now?
Slightly startled, he heard the rustling of paper from the mailbox beside his.
"Oh, hi!" You greeted him. He turned to you with eyebrows furrowed. Were you talking to him? "I didn't notice that someone new moved in! I'm your neighbor, (Y/N)."
You held out a hand to him with a big smile. You always made sure to greet your neighbors everyday, especially new ones. He seemed a bit hesitant before he shook your hand. Your smile slightly faltered, noticing how cold he was. Maybe he had just come from outside.
"What's your name?" You asked him.
If it was any old random person, he'd simply ignore them, not wanting to think they'd be able to have some sort of connection with him. But...he was feeling quite hungry, and you smelled...heavenly.
"I'm Yeonjun." He switched his confused glance to a friendly one, maybe with a hint of subtle deviousness. It was so subtle that you hadn't noticed at all.
"Nice to meet you, Yeonjun!" You said, chirpy as ever. "Well, uh, see you around! If you ever need anything, just come on over to room 17B."
"I'll keep that in mind." He said before you scurried on off to the elevator. He'll definitely keep that in mind. Staying next door to his future blood bank would be extremely convenient.
——————————————
    Exploring the floors of the nice apartment complex, Yeonjun stumbled upon a cozy little cafe in the lobby. He found the decor nice and all, but it wasn't like he'd be here often. He hated the smell and taste of coffee, a trait developed after centuries of being a vampire. He could still eat and drink, but nowadays, it was only for nostalgic reasons.
    "Oh-" A man started to walk past him into the cafe before he stopped, looking at Yeonjun. "You must be the new tenant my friend was talking about!"
    Yeonjun looked him up and down, seeing as he was dressed in a black padded coat, most likely just coming in from the cold weather outside.
    "I'm Felix," He said, holding his hand out to you with a big smile. Seeing how similar he was to you, you must've been the friend he was referring too.
    "Yeonjun." Yeonjun said, shaking his hand.
    "You wanna get a cup of coffee?" Felix asked, pointing towards the cafe. "During this hour, they're 10% off," Then he leaned in to whisper to him. "Only a few of us know that." He giggled.
    "I'll pass." Yeonjun said. "I have...something to do."
    "Oh...okay!" Felix smiled. "Catch you next time, then." He then bowed and went inside, greeting the barista. Was everyone here so chirpy and talkative? Frowning to himself, Yeonjun went for the stairs instead of the elevator, not wanting to come across anyone else. If everyone was like this, then maybe another apartment complex would do him good...
———————————————
    Yeonjun couldn't help but be nosy as he went through the previous owner's things. A few days ago, when he had "moved in", he noticed that the previous owner had a pet bunny. It was white with black spots, and it had a little 'hobby' of staring at Yeonjun whenever he was in the apartment.
    Cleaning up after the bunny was annoying as hell, especially with the droppings the bunny seemed to plant everywhere it walked. He didn't think he could be more out of luck with the way things have turned out so far. The fridge was nearly jam packed with food, half of it being rotten, the sink was full of dishes, and wet laundry has been sitting in the washer machine for god knows how long. Maybe Yeonjun did him a favor by ridding him of his home.
    Although the circumstances were bad, he knew that it was too late to start a new life somewhere else. And the knock on his door just confirmed that further.
    Opening the front door, he was greeted by not only you, but Felix as well. The both of you had big, bright smiles on your faces, and you held a basket of brownies in your hands.
    "Hi, Yeonjun!" You said. "Felix told me he met you this morning! We thought it would be kind to give you a housewarming gift!"
    "Fudge brownies!" Felix said excitedly. "I made them!"
    "Oh..ah, thanks-"
    "Can we come in?" You asked, eyes bright and hopeful.
    "Uh, sure." Yeonjun said, fighting the urge to groan. He was relieved that he had managed to clean the apartment the best he could, though.
    You and Felix shuffled inside and Yeonjun closed the door behind you, nostrils flaring as you walked past him. He had forgotten about just how wonderful you smelled that quickly. He felt that you being here was now less of a burden. Felix, on the other hand, he could do without.
    "Wow, it smells really good in here!" You exclaimed.
    "You're right, it's like a mixture of cedar wood and lemons." Felix nodded, then gasped. "You have a pet bunny?"
    Yeonjun frowned. "No- yes." He then remembered the bunny that was sitting in its cage in the corner of the living room. Felix ran towards it with a big smile.
    "It's so cute!" He said. "What's its name?"
    "Uh...Annie." Yeonjun came up with the first name that popped up in his head. "Yeah, Annie."
    "What a cute name for such a cute bunny." Felix said in a high pitched voice, greatly differing from how low it was usually.
    "Yeonjun, try a brownie." You said to him with a smile. "Felix seriously makes the best brownies, you'd love them."
    Hesitantly, Yeonjun reached out for a brownie from the basket. He couldnt lie, the brownies looked amazing, but he definitely wasn't in the mood for eating human food. He took a small bite out of it, the taste of the chocolate kind of dull, as all human old was for him. He nodded with a smile.
    "It's good." Yeonjun said.
    "Really?" Felix smiled, coming back to the two of you in the kitchen. "That's awesome, so far, no one has turned down my brownies! Y'know, I like you, so maybe you'd get a brownie from my next...special batch."
    "Felix!" You nudged him in the ribs.
    "Ow!"
    "Sorry, he's a bit...unique." You chuckled. "But I thank you for inviting us into your home! I hope we can be close neighbors, and—actually, let me give you my number."
    "Mine too!" Felix said, all but snatching Yeonjun's phone that was rested on the counter top. "What's the password?"
    Containing his annoyance, Yeonjun, took his phone from him and put in his password.
    "Felix, you can't just take people's phones like that." You giggled nervously, then inputted your number into Yeonjun's phone.
    "Sorry, Yeonjun." Felix said apologetically. "I get comfortable quickly. But we're friends now, right?" He gave him a cute wink.
    "Yeah." Yeonjun said with no meaning behind it and let Felix put his number in his phone.
    "Well, it was nice seeing you again." You smiled. "You can call or text us anytime!"
    "Nice seeing you as well." Yeonjun smiled, saying his goodbyes as he watched you and Felix exit the apartment. After shutting the door, Yeonjun felt more at ease. The delicious scent of your blood still lingered in his nostrils, and he only wanted more. Your number would surely be useful for him in the future. Despite wanting to take a break from feeding off of humans, he found himself curating a plan in which he could get you alone and taste the delicious blood that was rushing through your veins.
——————————————————
    It's been about two weeks since he had moved in, and Yeonjun figured that that was too long to be without your scent. If he couldn't feed from you now, then your scent would be enough to stave him off for a while. He was good at controlling his bloodlust due to being an experienced vampire, so he would be fine for now.
    He called you for the first time since you gave him your number, and the phone rang twice before you answered.
    "Hello?" You answer.
    "Hey...this is Yeonjun."
    "Oh, Yeonjun!" He could practically hear your smile over the phone. "I'm glad you called! Do you want to go to the movies with me?"
    He didn't even have to do anything. "Sure. Now?"
    "Yep!" You said. "I was getting ready just now, and it was perfect timing that you called. I didn't really want to go alone, anyways. Meet me at the lobby in 20?"
    "Sure, I'll be ready by then." He smiled before hanging up. This was going to be a lot easier than he thought it would be.
    20 minutes later, he got out of the elevator and entered the lobby, looking around for you. He froze when he noticed you by the entrance, but right beside you was Felix, dawned in his long padded jacket. Yeonjun rolled his eyes, annoyed by the fact that you two weren't going alone.
    He approached the two of you and Felix noticed him first. "You're here!"
    "Yay!" You smiled when you saw him. "Felix called right after you and I invited him along as well, I hope you don't mind."
    "No, I don't mind at all." Yeonjun said with a tight smile, flexing his jaw in annoyance. "The more the merrier."
    "Exactly." Felix said. "What movie are a watching? A scary one? Please don't be horror..."
    You looked at Yeonjun deviously, as if hiding a secret before turning back to Felix. "Don't worry, Lix, it's just a romcom."
—————————
    "This...this isn't a romcom, is it?" Felix whispered between the two of you as the movie started.
    "Just saying...it's too late to leave, now." You whispered back. "We already paid for the tickets."
    "You tricked me." Felix frowned, sinking further into his seat.
    Yeonjun put his tongue in side of his cheek, slightly frustrated at the seating arrangements. He had wanted to sit next to you, but Felix was all too eager to sit in the middle and hold the bucket of popcorn. Now that he couldn't even try to be close to you, he didn't want to watch this stupid movie at all. He had watched plenty of movies in his life time, and there was no doubt that this one would be like those same old cliche horror movies.
All throughout the movie, Felix jumped at the smallest little scares, and you giggled at every one of them. Yeonjun found your constant giggling to be annoying. Like, was everything really that funny to you?
He had to admit, there were one or two ACTUALLY scary scenes, but it was nothing to jump at. Felix was basically being a grasshopper in the seat next to him.
Once the voice was finally over, Felix all but ran to the exit of the theater, and you followed after him, laughing the whole way there. Yeonjun didn't bother to run or quicken his footsteps. For all he cares, they could leave without him and it wouldn't matter. He could try again to get you alone, but for now, he'd probably have to tag along with you and Felix for a while.
————————————
"Oh? Yeonjun, did you just come in?" You caught up with Yeonjun as he waited for the elevator.
"Yeah." Yeonjun said.
"Awesome, you should come over!" You said with a cheery voice. "I've had a long day at work, and I was thinking of ordering takeout and watching a movie?"
Yeonjun smiled, something that you didn't see very often. "Sure."
"Yay!" You wiggled your little fists in the air. Cute. Getting into the elevator, you nearly talked his ear off. You talked about the movie you wanted to watch, the food you wanted to eat, how your day was at work, and more.
To be honest, Yeonjun didn't really like you that much. You were kind of overwhelming and the fact that you were so cheery all the time annoyed him. But, with his ulterior motive, he could look past that.
Upon entering your apartment, he noticed how cute your decorations were. You seemed to have an affinity for cats, especially since you had your own. There were pictures of your cat hung on your walls, a little cat trinkets scattered around. The deco and furniture fit you, to say the least, but it also hurt his eyes. Were you allergic to normal colors or something? What was with all the pastel?
"Do you want to order something, Jun?" You asked him while you were on the phone.
"No, I'm not hungry."
"Okay!" You smiled then went back to ordering take-out. He didn't know why you had called him 'Jun', and he didn't really like it, but he wasn't going to sever this 'friendship' before he even got a chance at tasting your blood.
Once you finished ordering, you plopped yourself on your couch next to him, sitting criss cross while you looked for the movie you wanted to watch.
"What type of movies do you like to watch, Jun?" You asked him. Nearly scowling at the nickname, he answered your question anyways.
"Just...any movies." He said, and you chuckled.
"You're quite shy, aren't you?" You asked.
"Not really." Yeonjun frowned.
"It's okay to be shy, Felix and I will help you come out of your bubble." You smiled brightly. "That's our superpower, I think.
"I'm not shy-" His eyes flashed red for just a second, but you didn't notice, as someone knocked on the door.
"Hm? The food can't be here that quickly." You went to answer the door, and a second later, Yeonjun heard him pitched squeals.
"What the f...?" Yeonjun turned around, seeing Felix at the door. He groaned, fists balling in anger. Why the hell is he here right now?
"Yeonjun, Felix is here!" You said, inviting him in.
"I came at the perfect time, didn't I?" Felix said, taking off his shoes and that damned puffer jacket. "Did you order any take out for me?"
"Oh, sorry..." You said with an apologetic smile. "I didn't think that you'd be coming over."
"That's fine." He said, kissing your cheek. Yeonjun furrowed his brows. Did he like you or something? Friends kiss each other's cheeks as well...right? "I'll just steal some of your food." He said with an evil laugh. Running to the couch, he jumped on the seat right next to Yeonjun, bumping into his shoulder. "Hey, Yeonjunnnn!" He grabbed onto his arm. "You're like the addition we need to make a trio friend group, right? You're shy, so that's balance."
"I-I'm not shy!" Yeonjun said, snatching his arm from Felix's hold.
"Awe, he stuttered!" Felix giggled, looking at you.
"See, I told him he was shy but he keeps insisting he's not." You said, sitting on Yeonjun's other side. "You should meet the rest of the tenants. We're friends with all of them."
"Except Greg." Felix said. "Greg doesn't want to be friends with anybody."
"Yeah, he's just a big ol' negative Nancy." You added. "But, Felix, what do you think about watching this movie?" You pointed to the movie on the TV. "It's not scary at all, but it's like Sci-Fi."
"Oh, okay, I'm fine with it." Felix shrugged.
"Great!"
You started the movie, and Yeonjun crossed his arms, hoping that Felix wouldn't put his death grip on him again. Thirty minutes into the movie, you heard a knock on the door, signifying that your take-out was finally here.
"Pause the movie!" Felix said, jumping up and racing you to the door, leaving Yeonjun to pause it no wait for the two of you. He couldn't even believe that he was still here. He could just come up with an excuse and leave so he wouldn't have to be so close to you without being able to actually feed from you. But...he felt as if it would be better to hang out this way. To get really close to you ad then eventually, you guys could finally be alone.
"Felix, don't eat the crab rangoon, that is for ME!" You yelled at him, snatching the bag out of his hand. "I'll let you have some of my lo mein, but NOT the crab rangoon." You sat back down beside Yeonjun. "Felix always tries to steal my food. He's sneaky that way, so be careful around him."
"Hey, stop lying about me to our Yeonjun." Felix whined. "Jun, I don't steal food, I just borrow it."
"That doesn't even make any sense."
"YOU don't make any sense."
"Yeonjun, press play." You said, ignoring Felix. He found the playful banter quite amusing, but he pressed play anyways. The both of you being quiet was way better than hearing you two argue.
This movie was weirdly longer than most movies, it being almost 2 and a half hours. You and Felix finished eating the take out in thirty minutes, and then the room was completely quite, the only thing to be heard was the sound of the TV. It was getting dark outside, and Yeonjun could hear your breaths start to slow down.
After a few more minutes, the both of you were fast asleep, leaving Yeonjun awake and annoyed, as per usual. Not only did you rest your head on Yeonjun's shoulder, but Felix did the same, resting his head on Yeonjun's other shoulder. Yeonjun felt like there were two cats resting on him, and that he couldn't move until the both of you woke up. He could close his eyes just for the fun of it and pretend to sleep, but it was nighttime, and he definitely wasn't in the mood.
By the time the movie played the credits, he thought that it would be wise to wake you two up. He nudged into your side and did the same with Felix.
"The movies over." Yeonjun said.
"Is it?" You asked, yawning and squinting at the TV. "Awe man..."
"Dang it, I was actually looking forward to the end." Felix said in a deep, groggy voice. "Why did it have to be so long? (Y/N), why did you choose such a long movie-oh...sorry, Yeonjun."
Yeonjun looked at him to see what he was sorry about, and Felix was looking down at Yeonjun's shoulder. He followed his line of side to see a wet patch on his white shirt. His nostrils flared and he held back from snapping at him.
"It's...fine." Yeonjun said.
"He's like a puppy, he always drools when he sleeps." You said, shaking your head.
"I don't mean to!" He pouted, crossing his arms. "Let's play the second half of the movie again. I really wanted to see the ending." Oh no. Oh god no. Yeonjun tensed up.
"It's kinda late, though..." You sighed, looking at the time on your phone. Yeonjun relaxed again, inwardly thanking you. He just wanted to be alone again.
"But it's Friday!" Felix said.
"Wait, you're right, I didn't even notice!" You said. "That...that means we could all have a sleepover!" You eyes widened as you got excited.
"S-sleep over?" Yeonjun's eyes widened as well. How could you come up with an even worse idea than Felix?
"Yeah!"
"We haven't had a sleepover in so long!" Felix said. "We could watch movies all night!"
No.
"We can eat junk food!"
No.
"We can make a pillow fort!"
No!
"We can cuddle each other to sleep!"
NO!
———————————————
Yeonjun felt as if his efforts were wasted. Every time you'd ask him to hang out with you, Felix would pop up out of nowhere with that darned smile and excited nature. The two of you were stuck together like glue, never giving Yeonjun a chance to be with you alone. Did Felix have a life? A job? Maybe a pet to look after? It didn't seem like it.
He was starting to get impatient. He hadn't fed from anyone in weeks, and he was reaching his limit. Even Annie looked appetizing, though he would feel a bit too bad if he were to feed from the rabbit.
Just an hour ago, you had asked Yeonjun if he wanted to go out and eat lunch with you, to which he accepted. This time, he hoped Felix wouldn't come and spoil his plans. He was desperate to finally get you where he wanted you.
He approached you outside of a deli, seeing you on your phone, laughing at something. He smiled as you noticed him and waved at him wildly.
"Am I late?" Yeonjun asked.
"Nope, you're just on time." You said, walking into the deli with him. "Since you're still kind of new here, you probably haven't been here before." You said, referring to the deli. "You can get whatever you want, but I recommend the caprese panini."
The both of you went to order, and you ordered the caprese panini, as you usually did. He squinted at the menu, knowing he had to eat something or else you'd be suspicious of him.
"Can I just get a salad?" He asked. "Just put extra tomatoes and steak on top."
"How would you like your steak cooked?"
"Blue." Yeonjun said. The cashier raised their eyebrows for a second before moving on.
"Blue steak? What's that?" You asked him.
"Nearly raw." He shrugged.
"Raw?" Your eyes almost popped out of your head. "What eccentric eating habits you have. I could never." You chuckled. It was the only type of meat he'd eat. The steak was practically still moo-ing, and it had enough blood to stave him off for a day or two.
After ordering your food, the both of you went to go sit at a table.
"Oh, Yeonjun, I hope you don't mind, but I also invited Felix, he'll be here in a few." You said nonchalantly. Yeonjun frowned. "He just got off of work and this deli is his absolute fav."
"I do mind." Yeonjun blurted out, and you looked at him with wide eyes.
"Huh?" You said.
"I do mind." He repeated. "Why does Felix have to be wherever you are? You guys are shoulder to shoulder 24/7."
"No we're not." You laughed. "But he's my best friend, we hangout a lot."
"But, why can't it just be the two of us?" Yeonjun said. "It's always us three. Why can't we be alone together, hm?"
You froze, feeling a bit flustered at his words. Yeonjun always came off as cool, calm, and collected without a worry or complaint in the world. Then you gasped.
"What?" Yeonjun frowned.
"Jun, do...do you...like me?" You asked him, and his jaw dropped in surprise. "Like, it's not a bad thing or anything, and you don't have to really answer but...do you?"
He didn't know what to say. Of course he didn't like you. He liked the smell of your blood, yes, but you? You were too annoying. But would it benefit him to lie and say that he did like you?
"I...I-"
"Besties!" For the first time, Yeonjun was saved by Felix's appearance.
"Felix!" Yeonjun said with a big smile.
"Woah, you see that, (Y/N), Yeonjun's excited to see me!" Felix said, sitting down. "What did you guys order?"
Yeonjun was glad that he could get out of the previous conversation, but he noticed you sneaking glances at him from time to time. Hopefully, you didn't think that he really liked you. Then he'd have to keep up with yet another lie.
—————————————
Today was one of those days where you had to work overtime, and Yeonjun was getting sick an tired of waiting. Everytime you weren't at work, you were with Felix, everytime you weren't with Felix, you were at work. Yeonjun was going to intervene, now in the only way he knew how.
He knocked on Felix's door, and after a few seconds, Felix answered and smiled brightly.
"Hey, Jun!" Felix said, inviting him in immediately. "It's a surprise seeing you here, you never come over."
"Yeah, I thought I'd hang with you." Yeonjun said. "You're not busy or anything, right?"
"Nope!" Felix said. "I was just cleaning up a bit. Good think you came when I was almost done, otherwise you would've seen the mess." He giggled, then grabbed the broom he had before he invited Yeonjun in.
Yeonjun looked around, his apartment being a bit more basic and plain than he thought it would be. The kitchen was slightly bigger than yours and Yeonjun's, but he guessed that was the main reason Felix got this apartment. He seemed to have an affinity for cooking and baking, and if the size of the kitchen didn't say that, then the containers of brownies stacked on the counter did.
"Do you eat all of those brownies?" Yeonjun asked, slightly concerned.
"Nah, though I do eat a lot." Felix replied. "Brownies are my favorite. I usually go door to door to give my neighbors some brownies every time I make a new batch. They call me brownie boy." He laughed. "You can have some if you want. Or...you can have some from my 'special' batch. Which ever you choose." He smiled deviously.
What a unique individual.
"Do you wanna listen to music?" Felix asked, going to his speaker right by his TV. "I've been listening to this new artist, and his music is, like, the best."
"Sure." Yeonjun said. Felix then turned on some music, lowering the volume so that it wouldn't be too loud.
"Oh!" Felix suddenly got excited. "I just remembered something really important that I have to ask you."
"Hm?"
"Come on, sit down." Felix said, patting down on the seat next to him on the couch. Yeonjun sat dow, curious with what his question was going to be. "So, I was talking to (Y/N) the other day, and, like, don't tell her I said this but...I think she likes you." Felix whispered as if (Y/N) was going to hear. "She was talking to me about how she likes your hair and I don't know, something about daddy material, but we were just a little drunk, so...but drunk words are real thoughts, right?"
Yeonjun widened his eyes, feeling a bit awkward.
"And then she was like, 'I think he likes me too, but I'm not sure'." Felix said. "And, like, I'm just trying to be a good friend. You could tell me if you like her, I won't tell her if you don't want me to."
"Honestly..." Yeonjun pursed his lips. "I'm flattered, but...I don't like her like that."
"...oh." Felix said, frowning, then he sighed. "You don't like her at least a little bit?" Felix asked, eyes sparkling with hope.
"No..." Yeonjun said. Right? He didn't like you at all. He may have been slightly interested in you, but that's only fro your blood. Blood. He then rememebered what he was here for. "But...I am interested in her in a different way."
Felix gasped. "You mean..." He whispered, leaning in. "You mean in a sexual way? I-I mean, there's no proble with that, this is a judge free zone." He chuckled. "I completely understand, (Y/N) and I have...played around every now and then."
"Uh, no, you have the wrong idea." Yeonjun scowled. "And I didn't need to know that."
"Oh...oops." He scratched the back of his neck. "Then what do you mean?"
"I mean...that I'm interested in her blood."
Felix didn't say anything. Staring at him with wide eyes. After a couple seconds of silence, he spoke. "Like...in a kinky way or something?"
Yeonjun just laughed. "Of course not, sweetheart. I mean that in a literal way. See...I'm a vampire. And ever since I've moved here, I haven't been able to feed not once. I'm getting a bit impatient, and you can't even seem to leave (Y/N) alone for me." Yeonjun gave the frozen boy a sympathetic look. "So, do you know what I'm going to do? Hm?"
Felix gulped, shaking his head. Yeonjun watched with amusement as Felix started to close in on himself, slightly cowarding away from Yeonjun's presence.
"I am going to feed from you instead." Yeonjun said, leaning in closer to him. "Think of it as a punishment for getting in my way, and that you deserve it, okay?"
"A-are you gonna k-kill me?" Felix asked, finally finding his voice.
"Of course not." Yeonjun giggled. "But if you speak about any of this to (Y/N), you can be sure I will." And with that, Yeonjun yanked Felix's head back with his hear to bear his neck, and before Felix could protest, Yeonjun dug his sharp fangs into the side of his neck, finally getting the blood that he so desperately needed. Felix whined in pain, not able to call for help or to pry away from his strong hold.
Once he got his fix, Yeonjun detached from him, blood dripping down the corner of his mouth. He smiled in satisfaction, licking the blood on his lips. Felix was lightheaded, drowsy from the blood loss as Yeonjun lapped up the blood dripping down his neck so it wouldn't make a mess on his couch. he was at least nice enough to do that.
"Remember our conditions, Felix." Yeonjun reminded him. "Tell (Y/N), and I'll drink you dry." Felix weakly nodded before he fell unconscious.
"Wasn't as good as I suspect (Y/N)'s is, but it'll do." Yeonjun shrugged, laying him down on the couch and then exiting the apartment.
——————————————
Upon entering your apartment, Yeonjun noticed that Felix wasn't there, and it was just you and him this time. He fought the urge to smirk, finally getting what he wanted, but he just wanted to make sure.
"Hey, uh...is Felix not coming over?" Yeonjun asked you.
"No." You sighed. "He's been feeling sick the past couple of days. Like, I'm trying to help him take care of him, but he's not letting anyone into his apartment. Do you know what's up?"
"Nope." Yeonjun shrugged, letting the lie slip from his mouth with ease. "He didn't tell me anything."
"Oh...well he'll probably get better in a few more days." You said. "At least I have you." You giggled, tugging on his arm. "Didn't you say you wanted to hang out with me alone once? Well now you got me, since you obviously don't like me."
"Hey, stop, now you're acting like Felix." He scoffed.
"Hm?" You looked up at him with a look of confusion. "What do you mean acting like Felix?" Then your eyes widened and you let go of his arm. "D-did he say something to you?"
"Uh..." Yeonjun looked away.
"He did, didn't he!" Then you held your hands in your head.
"I didn't say anything." Yeonjun shrugged.
"But I can see right through you." You frowned. "He told you I liked you, right?"
Yeonjun didn't say anything.
"So, he did." You groaned, throwing your head back. "He can't keep a secret to save his life."
He hoped that wasn't literal.
"But I mean, that was obvious wasn't it?" You looked at him.
"Yeah, kinda." He said.
"But you like me back, right?" You asked him. "...right?"
"Oh, um..." Yeonjun failed to make eye contact. Does he like you? He can't seem to find the line between wanting to feed from you and wanting you to be his. This was a problem he's faced ever since he turned into a vampire. If he rejects you now, he may never get to drink your blood. At least that was just the excuse he needed for now. "Sure."
"Sure...?" You frowned. "That doesn't sound so convincing..."
"But it's true." Yeonjun said, lying once again. After centuries of doing so, he was basically a pro. "Why else would I want to be alone with you?"
"Hm..." You still weren't convinced. "Did Felix tell you anything else? Just, uh...making sure."
His eyes widened, and that when you knew he was hiding something from you. "No, uh, he was just saying that the both of you were drunk or whatever."
"Oh, okay, that's it?" You asked.
"And h-he mentioned something about daddy material and the two of you...playing around."
You gasped. "Oh my gosh...why...WHY would he tell you that?" You cringed. "B-but don't worry, it was only, like two times. Felix didn't tell you the details of those times, though, did he?"
"Fortunately, no."
"Good," You chuckled. "Because I'd rather you experience that yourself." You mumbled that last part, looking down on the floor and fighting the urge to giggle.
Yeonjun froze and raised a brow, the corner of his cough slightly rising in a smirk. "Say that again?"
"S-say what?" You darted your eyes from place to place.
"What you just said."
"Hm? I didn't say anything." You chuckled. He looked down at you with a smirk, an idea crossing his mind. Yeah, he found you slightly annoying and a real pain in the ass, but were you attractive? Yes. Especially right now in your large T-Shirt and shorts, basically flaunting your beauty at him. It wouldn't hurt to entertain this little crush you had on him, would it?
"Are you sure?" Yeonjun said, coming closer to you. "If it really wasn't anything, then...I guess so. I was going to see if I could experience some of that, but I guess not."
"Wait, huh?" You grabbed ahold of his arm. He could almost laugh at the face you were making, eyes wide, and mouth pulled into an almost desperate pout. He raised a brow. "I never said that you couldn't."
"Couldn't what?"
"Yeonjun..." You whined and he laughed.
"I'm not sure what you're talking about, you have to be specific." He said.
"I want you to...know the details." You said. "If you could do it better than Felix, that is."
That seemed to tick him off, his cocky smirk falling. You were going to get your words handed to you, but you surely didn't mind when he smashed his lips into yours, and you moaned in surprise, half at his aggression and half at how cold his lips were. You nearly stumbled back at the force, but he held your hip tightly to keep you in place. Once you got past your surprise, you kissed him back, running your hands through his hair as he pushed you towards your couch.
He pushed you on the couch, hovering over you, not parting his lips from yours. He was such a passionate kisser, it already had you moaning for more, swirling your tongue with his. He started to feel you up over your clothes, large cold hands groping every curve with fervor.
He suddenly parted for you, leaving you gasping for air but desperate to feel his lips on yours again.
"You really think I can't fuck you beter than Felix?" He scoffed, the smirk not leaving his face. "I want you to remember that once I'm done with you." He was quick to hook his fingers around both your shorts and panties, slipping them down and off, throwing them somewhere else in the living room. "Tell me any time if you want me to stop, okay?"
You nodded, biting down on your lip. He grabbed the bottom of your thighs with his large hands and pried them open, revealing just how soaked you were to him. He licked his eyes, and you gulped at the primal look he was giving you.
Sliding down so that his head was level with your pussy, he watched as you gushed uncontrollably, wanting him to do something, ANYTHING.
He literally heard your blood rushing to your clit and he zeroed in on it, pressing his nose to it and deeply inhaling your scent. You squeaked in embarrassment, and he only chuckled, looking into your eyes as he licked a long stripe from your hole to your clit, tasting all of your juices. He saw the effect of his action immediately, you biting your lip to contain the sounds that were trying to escape. But he wanted to hear you.
So, he attached his soft, plump lips to your clit, sucking on it. Your hips bucked up at the sudden wash of pleasure, and you gasped, a loud whine coming out. He held your hips down and went at it, wanting to hear more of your sweet moans. He went down to slide his tongue into your hole, seeking out all of your juices while his nose nudged at your clit. He shook his head from side to side, groaning ever so often at your taste and smell. It sent vibrations to your pussy, making you squirm, but Yeonjun held you with an impossibly tight grip that would leave bruises on your hips. The wet  sound of him eating you out was embarrassing, but the feeling was out of this world. He didn't fail to keep eye contact with you, dark eyes gauging every one of your reactions.
You then grabbed a tight hold of his hair when his tongue wandered even lower. "Y-yeonjun!" You gasped as he tongued at your rim. He went back and forth between both holes, and in no time, you found herself clenching over nothing as you came hard, the grip on his hair probably too strong, but he didn't care. He loved to watch you fall apart as he devoured all of your cum and licked your pussy clean. You squirmed in overstimulation and he left your pussy alone, dragging kiss after kiss on your tummy, pulling your shirt up with each kiss.
"Your pussy tastes so good," He groaned, finally face to face with you as he attached your lips to yours so you could taste yourself on his tongue. He parted the kiss to push himself up on his knees and unbuckle his belt. You watched with anticipation as he unbuttoned his jeans and slid them down along with his boxers. His cock sprung up, and mighty god...it was so pretty. Veins lined his cock and it stood hard and proud, girthy and long. You clenched your pussy, just wanting it inside of you already, wanting to be fucked impossibly full. "You're so desperate for this cock, aren't you?" Yeonjun laughed at you, as if he could read your mind. You only whined, too desperate to even speak.
He hooked his fingers under your shirt and took it off of you, leaving you completely naked under him.
"Fuck..." He muttered, seeing the complete beauty of your naked form.
"Jun, o-off." You motioned to his shirt, wanting to see him fully. He didn't hesitate to take his shirt off, taking his pants off in the process of doing so. Now, the two of you were fully naked, and his cock was throbbing, begging to be inside of you. He pinned your wrists up above your head with one hand to the point where you couldnt budge them at all. Using his other hand, he grabbed ahold of his cock, and he pressed the tip into your hole, the initial stretch painful as it accommodated his girth. He slid inch by inch of his cock into your wet heat, and he watched as it engulfed him until he reached the hilt, his hips connected to yours. His hand then met with his other to hold your wrists above your head as  he waited a few seconds to move.
"You okay?" He asked, trying to hold back from pummeling into you.
"Mhm," You breathed out. "You can move. J-just go slow at first...you're kinda big."
"Kinda?" He smirked, pushing out slowly and then thrusting back in. You closed your eyes, biting your lip as a moan slipped through.
"Very, v-very big." You corrected yourself as he trusted into you again. You were slowly getting used to his size as your slick coated his cock from base to tip. He kept it slow, clenching his jaw to gain some self control. You were so tigt and wet, sucking him in with every thrust. He wanted to see you lose your mind on his cock, he wanted the neighbors to hear you scream his name, and he especially wanted Felix to hear it. He didn't like the idea of the two of you even touching each other, and he wanted to imprint himself into you so that it wouldn't happen again. Just thinking about it had him thrusting into you at a faster pace, and you took it, starting to get nervous as he got faster. You weren't nervous that it was going to hurt, no, as the pain had subsided by now, you were just nervous that you were going to lose yourself in the mean time and that you were going to say things that you couldn't take back. You were going to be so embarrassed facing your neighbors in the morning.
You watched as his face contorted into pleasure as he picked up the pace, and the sound of skin slapping started to resonate throughout the room. Your breathing went harsh, and you whined with every exhale and every skillfull thrust inside of you.
"Please, Jun, harder-" You begged, now used to his size.
"Are you sure?" He asked and you nodded desperately. He started to rock into you with more strength, your body bouncing up and down on the couch as he started to pound you into the cushions. You opened your legs impossibly wider, as if his cock would hit deeper inside of you. You were started to get a bit too loud, but that was exactly what Yeonjun wanted.
“Fuck…” Yeonjun groaned as he pounded into you. Your hands balled into fists, wanting to grab onto something to try and keep your sanity as he pounded your pussy to pieces.
You felt your orgasm come close to the hilt that fast, clenching around his throbbing member.
This was a total rush for Yeonjun. The suction of you around him but the delicious rush of your blood drove him crazy, and he felt his canines start to point, sharp fangs protruding past the bottoms of his teeth. In your cloud of pleasure, you didn’t even notice nor did you care to notice. Yeonjun was making you feel too good that you didn’t feel compelled to pay attention to detail.
His eyes glowed into an alarming red color, dark as they zeroed in on your neck. He seemed to pound into even harder, forcing an orgasm to rip through you for the second time. You threw your head back and arched your back in pleasure, tits bouncing with every thrust he continued to give you.
He growled, his vision nearly blurring and all sounds muffled as the only thing he heard was the pumping of your blood in your veins. With her neck beared to him and seeing you in such a vulnerable state, he got filled with uncontrollable blood lust.
Before he could try and regain control, he bent down and sunk his teeth into the skin of your neck and you yelped in pain and surprise. Your eyesight blurred as your rolled your eyes. You didn’t know what was happening or why it was happening, but the pain only made your orgasm stronger, as if it was just ongoing.
The immense pleasure didn’t stop as Yeonjun was pounding into you in an inhumane pace, pushing you up the couch with each thrust. You were so loud, too loud, erotic moans and whines resonating throughout the whole apartment.
He groaned, the taste of you just what he imagined. Sweet, heavenly, angelic, delicious. It was the best thing he’s ever tasted. Fuck, maybe he did like you. Maybe he was even in love.
Before he managed to accidentally suck you dry, he detached from your neck, watching as you were lost in extreme pleasure.
He drew yet another orgasm out of you, just as strong as the last one. You whined like a hurt puppy, shaking your head vigorously, even though your neck hurt.
“T-too much, ah— too much!” You whined, legs shaking like leaves in the wind. Yeonjun ignored your pleas, watching as tears fell down your face. Despite you telling him it was too much, you didn’t want it to stop. You found it hard to breathe when you were feeling this much pleasure, plus the fact that you were feeling so lightheaded.
“I’m gonna cum,” Yeonjun groaned, holding your hips down so that he could hold himself fully sheathed inside of you as he came. He shut his eyes tight, releasing his load deep inside of your womb.
You couldn’t stop your hips from twitching up as you slowly unclenched your shaking fists, taking multiple deep breaths.
Yeonjun watched as you calmed down, your eyes fluttering shut and your muscles finally relaxing from the strenuous activity. He bent down to softly kiss your neck, licking on your wound. The wound healed within seconds after that and he smiled.
He hadn’t noticed that you were now fully asleep. Or did you pass out? Which ever it was had him a bit worried. Had he taken too much blood? Had he fucked you so hard?
Why was he even worried in the first place? He didn’t like you like that. Or maybe he did?
He slowly pulled his softening member out, closing your legs and he put his clothes back on, keeping an eye on you. Looking around, he found a blanket and he tucked you into it, seeing as you were probably not going to wake up any time soon.
He hesitantly placed a kiss on your forehead, feeling a bit sorry that he had put you in this state. With one last look at you, he left your apartment, but not without leaving you with a text so you could see it when you wake up.
——————————————
You felt so groggy waking up. You were fully naked on the couch with a blanked draped over you, and the sun peeked through the curtains.
Slowly sitting up, you looked around to see if there was any trace of Yeonjun being here. Did he really just leave you here after he basically fucked the life out of you the night before?
Picking up your phone to see the time, you noticed a text in your notifications.
Jun <3: Sorry for fucking you to sleep :) let’s talk more in the morning.
You scoffed, but you couldn’t help but laugh and shake your head. Remembering the events of last night, you couldn’t help but smile. He had made you feel so good, better than anyone has ever had.
But that’s when your smile dropped. You remembered just one thing that really stood out. His bright red eyes. But his eyes were brown? Yet…he had red eyes last night. And that pain that you felt in your neck when he bit you…that was no regular bite. He punctured you with his teeth, and although I felt good, you had some questions to be answered.
You quickly took a shower to wash all of the sex that lingered on you and then you got dressed, making a beeline for Yeonjun’s apartment. You knocked on the door for it to be answere in a few seconds.
“Good morning, (Y/N).” Yeonjun said with a smile.
“Morning, Jun!” You gave him an even bigger smile. “Can I come in?”
He opened the door wider, gesturing for you to come in, and so you did, although you found walking to be a little hard and he laughed as he watched you waddle in.
“So…” You said slowly as he shut the door behind you.
“So?”
“Last night was…nice.” You said.
“Nice?”
“Yes. Very nice.” You nodded. “Very memorable. But, I have a few questions.”
“I thought you would.” He crossed his arms.
“What do you mean?” You squinted your eyes at him.
“Yah, stop acting clueless, I know what you’re curious about.” He said. “That’s why I texted you that we’d talk in the morning.”
“Oh…then if I ask you this question, you won’t get mad and you’ll answer truthfully?” You asked.
“Yes.”
“Okay.” You took a deep breath. “What the fuck?”
Yeonjun raised his eyebrows. “Is that your question? I need you to be a bit more specific.”
“Y-you, you bit me and stuff,” You said. “Please tell me…are you like…not human? Or is this some role play thing that you like?”
“Wait, how many people do vampir role play, I’ve never heard it mentioned this much in my life, and that’s saying something, because I’m four centuries old.”
“Centuries-“ You choked, holding onto your chest as you coughed. “Y-you’re a vampire!?”
“Quiet down, will you?” He scowled. “Yes. That’s what I am.”
“So…you drank my blood?”
“Yes.”
“Then how am I still alive?” You asked, eyes wide. “Am I a vampire now!?”
“No, (Y/N), you are not a vampire.” Yeonjun said. “I just drunk enough so that you wouldn’t die.”
You then pouted, eyes gleaming. “You care about me that much? Even though you need blood to survive, you made sure that you didn’t suck me dry?”
“I…what?” He furrowed his brows in confusion. “Why are you taking this so easily, where’s the scream of terror and the ‘please don’t kill me’ stuff?”
“I’m not scared, Jun.” You said. “It’s because I like you. And if you haven’t already killed me, then that means you won’t do it anyways. It’s so kind of you.” You giggled like a little school girl while Yeonjun looked at you as if you grew two heads.
He then laughed, shaking his head. “(Y/N), you’re something else, you know that right?” He had half the mind to tell you that he didn’t actually like you, but there was something in him that didn’t even believe that statement. “You’re cute.” He mumbled. “You’re really not scared of me?”
“Nope.” You said, shaking your head. “I feel safe with you. Actually, you can drink my blood anytime. It felt good!”
“It won’t feel good if I’m not fucking you while drinking from you.”
“Oh…then everytime you want to drink from me, you can fuck me at the same time.” You said with a big smile making him laugh.
“Then you’d be okay with me ducking you every day?” He raised a brow.
“That’s an arrangement I could definitely work with.” You said. Yeonjun could feel the sexual tension start to rise once again as he looked at you, wanting to pin you against the wall and get yet another taste, but all plans were ruined as he heard a knock on the door.
He frowned, going to answer the door. Once he opened the door, he saw Felix there with a scarf around his neck. He guessed he forgot to heal him after he fed from him.
“Yeonjun, I can’t keep it in anymore, I just can’t!” Felix said. “(Y/N) is my best friend, and I don’t want you to hurt her, so I’m going to tell her what happened, I don’t care if you kill me!”
“Felix?” You approached from behind Yeonjun. “What are you doing here? Aren’t you sick?”
“(Y/N), we have to go, h-he’s a vampire!” Felix said, pointing to him. He took off his scarf, showing you the two bite marks on his neck. “See? He bit me!”
“He bit you?” You frowned at Yeonjun.
“I was getting hungry, don’t look at me like that.” Yeonjun said. “At least he’s not dead.”
You sighed as you looked back at Felix. “Felix, I know what he is.” You sighed. “He bit me too, and see, I’m fine.”
“H-huh? But he told me he’d kill me if I told you…”
“What!?”
“Oh my gosh,” He grabbed Felix’s arm and pulled him inside, shutting the door behind him. “(Y/N), I didn’t want you to know at that time, so I threatened him, but I told you, obviously, so no, I’m not going to fucking kill him.”
“You’re not?” Felix asked, eyes welling up with tears.
“No…”
“Oh, thank goodness, I was so sure I was going to die!” Felix cried, hugging Yeonjun tightly. “Thank you for sparing my life.”
“Yeah, yeah.” Yeonjun said, peeling the shorter man off of him.
“I can’t believe he knew before me.” You pouted.
“Don’t worry, it wasn’t really by choice.” Yeonjun shrugged. “Besides, you’re my girlfriend, now, so that doesn’t matter.”
You widened your eyes, smiling widely. “Girlfriend?”
“Mhm.”
“Girlfriend!?” Felix exclaimed. “But I thought—“ He stopped once he was faced with Yeonjun’s dealt by glare. “I thought…it would happen earlier of course! Haha…yeah.”
“Don’t worry, Felix, you won’t be single for long.” You patted his back. “Don’t be too sad being the thrived wheel.”
“But do I have to be?” He pouted and you tilted your head in confusion. “You two were the ones who were so loud last night, right? I could hear it all the way across the hall.”
“Uh…” Yeonjun looked away.
“It’s okay, it’s didn’t bother me.” Felix smiled. “Could you do me next, though-“
“Felix!” You yelled.
“What? You never heard of a polyamorous relationship—“

Tumblr media
Yn's pov-
buzz buzz.
I jolt up from my sleep as I hear my phone vibrate on the night stand. I look over to my left but there was no sight of Tom. He must have gone for a run. I thought. I sit up straight and see that Tom was calling me. It is his birthday today. I quickly slide the green button on the screen and hold my phone near my ear.
"Hello darling." He purred, sending literal chills down my spine.
"Morning Tommy. Where are you?"I ask
"That's what I called you for love. This morning I got an urgent call from the director that I've to go for shooting today. So I'll be back in the evening." He replies
My smile drops when he mentions he has to go for shooting. I had so much things planned for today. His birthday. But everything is ruined. I almost start to cry-
"Y/n?" Tom speaks again
"Y-yeah?" I reply holding in my tears.
"Everything alright love?"
"Tom, it's your birthday today. I had planned so many things for you." I say almost in a whisper. I hear him release a deep sigh.
"Darling... I'm so glad that you had things planned for me but I'll try my best to be back by early evening and then we can spend time together. You know probably.... have some fun." I almost laugh when he mentions the 'fun' part and I hear him chuckle from the other side.
"Sure Mr. Hiddleston." I say with a grin plastered on my face.
"I look forward to it Mrs. Hiddleston. I've to go now love. I'll see you soon yeah?"
"Yes... and Tom-"
"Yes hun?"
"Happiest Birthday my love." I wish him blush all over my cheeks.
"Thank you so much darling. I'll be waiting for my present when I get home." He says, again making me laugh.
"Oh yes Tom. Take care."
"You too..." I glance at my phone and decline the call. I can't stay at home all day and waste my time while it is the birthday of the love of my life. He has done so much for me that I'm grateful for. Now it's my turn. A little surprise would be fun and it can't be possible with the help of Chris. So I call him.
                             ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tom's pov-
I walk in my trailer, finally completing my scenes that needed to be done. But all the lights were turned off. Even after trying to on the lights, they were just not working.
Boom!
I jump when I see party busters being popped all around me and all the crew members and even co-actors jump up from behind the couch and tables, I also notice... yn.
"YN!!!" I squeal in excitement and run towards her scooping her in my arms. I instantly inhale her scent. Her sweet laughter ringing in my ears.
Yn pov-
His warmth instantly flows through me. I wish this moment never ends, but sadly it has to. Tom finally let's go of me and he looks so happy, so joyful.
"Happiest birthday Tommy" I wish and learn in to give him a peck on his lips. I see Chris and everyone slowly coming and wishing Tom, wishing him the best with warm hugs. After all the greetings Tom comes up to me.
"Darling this was a wonderful surprise!" He exclaims.
"Oh there is one more surprise for you dearest. Shall we cut the cake?"
He nods with a wide grin. He loves cakes so much just like a child. We walk towards the table were sat the cake and a birthday card. The surprise. At first he looked at me with confusion but when he opened the card and read the message "Happy birthday Daddy!" His expression changed.
"Yn... a-are you..?" He asked, tears in his blur eyes which made me tear up too. I was only able to nod, being at loss of words.
There was a moment of silence but then it hit him.
"I-I'm to be a-a father... IM GOING TO BE A FATHER OH MY GOD" he instantly scoops me in his arms. I highly him back as tightly as I could. When we pull away we both are a crying mess. In a good way. He wipes my tears and plant his lips on mine. When we pull away I say,
"I can't wait to give a life to our child, Tom"
"I can't wait to see your belly swollen with my child." I chuckle at his reply.
He states, "This was the best birthday gift ever."
Matty won't shut up about Este's success
1103 words
a/n: Once again this was not requested but I looooovveeee the idea of Matty being Este’s biggest supporter through big moments in her career so here i wrote about it🥰🥰 it’s a bit short but lmk what u think!
(I wrote an entire 15 chapter fic of this universe! Read it here if you want more Matty and Este😌)
“A 35,000 person capacity festival is just unfathomable to me. I can’t even picture that many people—let alone going up and performing for them. Being present in the crowd at your headline set back in 2019, where I specifically remember being impressed by you and your rockstar-esque poise and confidence, I can’t help but wonder if these crazy performances are an easier pill to swallow now? With that experience?”
Matty humbly shot down the ‘rockstar’ comment.
“That’s very kind, but I mean the festival crowds are something I really will never get used to. The pure size of them is one thing, but there’s also this energy of needing to win them over. Keep their attention. It’s a lot of pressure, so I don’t think I can say that I find it easy.”
The interviewer nodded their head in understanding, comfortably sat on a chair across from Matty and asking him a few questions before him and the band took the stage at Big Weekend 2023 in Dundee.
“Yeah, totally. And I’m sure it’s interesting going straight into a summer full of these big festivals straight after the break you’ve just been on, right?” They asked.
He draped one leg over the other before answering. “A bit. It’s always nice to warm back up with a headline show since that’s where we feel the most comfortable. Also—as silly as it sounds—three weeks was a long fucking time. For me, at least. When we’re in an album cycle and touring the shit out of it, it’s so rare for us to stop for that long.”
“What do you get up to when you’re off nowadays? I can sense a workaholic vibe from you, so is that time spent in the studio? Jumping to the next thing now that Being Funny has been out and heard and loved?” The interviewer said in a thick Scottish accent, shuffling their cards as they spoke.
“You sensed the vibe correctly,” Matty confirmed, “though it’s not entirely ‘work’ to me, I guess. It’s just the way I make sense of the world, sort of dunno what else I’d do. So yes, I did write and I am working on the next album. But I didn’t get around to it right away, since I spent some time celebrating first,”
“That’s a very artistic answer, Matty. That writing isn’t work and is ‘the way you make sense of the world’,” They joked, earning a sheepish chuckle from Matty. “May I ask if you were celebrating anything in particular? The success of your UK tour?”
“It wasn’t that self indulgent,” he explained, “I was hoping you’d ask because I love talking about it. My girlfriend is a writer for The Guardian, and she just had a huge piece of hers published. She’s the real rockstar out of the both of us, to be honest.” Matty’s face immediately lit up at the chance to gush about Este, figuring she wouldn’t mind.
He thought back to moment she gave him a call to break the news with a fond smile.
“Hi, love.” he said after he picked up.
Este was bursting at the seams with joy to say what she said next. She couldn’t even bear to greet him a ‘hello’ back.
“It’s going to be on the front.”
He dropped the chopsticks once gripped in his hands. “You’re fucking joking.”
Her smile was so wide it hurt her cheeks as she paced around the small office she shared with a few other writers she worked with. She giggled, nodding even though Matty couldn’t see her.
“17th of May. They chose mine as the Culture spotlight,” Este explained, “So there’s a snippet headline on the cover, and then you’ll flip to Books & Entertainment and my name will be the biggest one. Not just in my usual column.”
“You’re fucking joking me!” He repeated himself, audibly joyful with a volume so high she had to pull her phone away from her ear.
“Matty, you’re screaming. I hope you’re not in public,”
He was, and didn’t care. “I’m at a very nice and small Japanese restaurant that is so quiet that every single person here is looking at me like I’m crazy, for your information. Este’s on the fucking cover!” Matty exclaimed equally as loud.
She heard busy and happy commotion in the back, making out a few congratulatory remarks from the guys and the touring crew. Blush crept onto her cheeks, trying to squeeze a ‘thank you’ through to them between Matty and his continued rambles.
“I’m just so fucking proud, baby. Every time I get to read the newest thing you write it somehow tops the last—I don’t know how you do it. Actually, it’s quite annoying. Seems too effortless. It’s about time they print your name all big!” he endlessly complimented.
“I love you so much.” Este shortly said.
He could hear the grin in her voice. “Can’t be that much if I love you more,” Matty argued, “Sorry that was a bit cringe. Hann is rolling his eyes. You’re in love too, bro! Don’t act like I’m weird for it!”
“Her name’s Este Manansala, by the way. M-A-N-A-N-S-A-L-A,” Matty spelt out her surname to make sure they got it correctly, “She writes on books and literature, so it was an article about Yellowface by R.F. Kuang, a new novel out. A really, really thought-provoking conversation about white vs. minority authors—the nuances of being an author of colour. From a great perspective, too, since she’s Filipino and a woman and an immigrant. You should go read it,”
He stared down the camera lens to the hypothetical viewers, as if he could say it straight to them.
“But hell, check out all of her past stuff as well. Genuinely the most humble and intelligent human I’ve ever known. Plus I’ve written pretty much every love song of mine since like 2019 about her, so if you like my music then you have her to thank as well. Anyway—I’ve just overtaken this interview to talk about my girlfriend—sorry, mate.” apologised Matty, though he wasn’t all that apologetic.
“Don’t be sorry! I love it. She sounds incredible,” The interviewer beamed, matching his energy and feeling the admiration Matty had for her through the air.
“She is.” He smiled wide.
“If she really is the rockstar like you described, I feel like I can say that you’re her groupie.”
They belly-laughed together. Matty pictured Este’s smug expression and the way she’d definitely use that line to tease him in the future.
“Oh—I’m telling her you just said that. She’ll love it. Because you 100% can.”
