The unanswered question: could be answered by Tsukasa.
"Did you know? The school mystery Tsukasa? If you summon him and play with him, he'll answer any questions!"
Tumblr media
With Teru suggesting the idea to investigate what Kako and Mirai change in the past, Yashiro went straight ahead to investigate by herself. Meanwhile Akane decided to confirm Tsukasa's existence in the new timeline.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So this could lead to two possible route:
1. Yashiro immediately encountering Tsukasa (which I doubt)
2. Akane encountering Tsukasa first (and facing some troubles)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tsukasa's line "Come play with me again," for Yashiro bothers me. Because that's also how he is summoned as a school mystery. "Tsukasa-kun, Tsukasa-kun, come and play with me!". This could be a foreshadowing as to Tsukasa expecting Yashiro to meet him again through this school mystery.
My theory is Akane would be the one asking question about what Kako and Mirai change in the past, meanwhile Yashiro would be the one asking about Amane's past...since we have so little to know about the Yugi Twins yet. Why does Amane want to fix the clock tower? And so on.

Note
Heyy I found something, I always thought the twins' birth year was 1956 because their 4th birthday fell in 1960, but apparently the correct year for the 4th anniversary is 1959!!
Tumblr media
This is the original, fuck- why would they change the year????
(Sorry to bother you, but I wanted to share the information-)
Maybe they changed it in the official translation, but if you found the original, then this really must be the correct one.
I saw some people making calculations based on the date that appears on the school panel when we see Amane from the past, but we have this part where Nene says that she went back 50 years in the past, when she meets little Amane, and well, unlike the what people say, the year they are in is not 2015, because
1964 + 50 = 2014
Tumblr media Tumblr media
hmm….. Amane's age also counts I remember you once asked me about this and I said that we could only know from the original, because for some reason we don't know, they changed the date in the translation…
I would like to know why….

Ok. There's something going on and I need to talk about it.
We've all seen that AidaIro is posting new art every day, and on the 18th there will be a new chapter.
But I noticed something, all these arts are about the last arc and are telling the story of it again.
Let me show you
Tumblr media
The first one we had was on chapter 111, which shows Yashiro. Everything is normal, but behind her we can see typical theater spotlights, it could just be something mundane or reference her school play rehearsals. Well we started with this.
Tumblr media
So we have this art of 12y Tsukasa. Referencing when Yashiro and Mitsuba ended up in the past and found 12y Tsukasa talking to them. He said a rumor about the big clock that further opened the theme of this arc, really an omen for everything.
Tumblr media
This art by Sakura is worth mentioning, as she is part of the broadcast gang. She is behind everything, and theories about her being the god or something powerful are increasing more and more. It's worth mentioning that she wished something for Tsukasa, everything he's doing is because of her (because of Amane too, but he has a bond with Sakura). Sakura is an extremely important piece in this puzzle.
Tumblr media
Let the fun begin! Next in the series we have Mitsuba and Kou enjoying their time at the festival. Eating and playing together. We were informed, the festival has started.
Tumblr media
More moments at the festival. This scene happened in the manga, it is the beginning of the festival that we see. Hanako and Yashiro in the haunted house made by Kou's class. Until that moment everything was normal (or so we thought).
Tumblr media
This one is curious. We only see seal Tsukasa in this arc after the plan is initiated. But I believe he was also out there enjoying his last moments. And you can tell that it's really Tsukasa and not the creature. Well, now we're getting close.
Tumblr media
Ohhh look what we have here! President and vice-president enjoying the festival as well, despite their work they still managed to find some time to have fun. Natsuhiko had already confronted Akane earlier and Teru had already discovered the black crane, they were probably already alert for anything suspicious. But, everything's still normal.
Tumblr media
We return to Sakura, now in her maid outfit. We also have Natsuhiko's first appearance in these arts. This was possibly before or during the festival, but following the chronological line it must have been during. Note that until then this was the only art that did not have a black border (I will talk about this later). Moving on to the next...
Tumblr media
From here things started to get serious. The plan had begun. This moment happens in chapter 105. Blood had started to spread throughout the auditorium and Hanako noticed that something was wrong. We are just a few steps away from entering No.1 boundary.
Tumblr media
And finally we have today's art. The revelation of the immortal human, Natsuhiko. Breaking the timeline, in this art we go back to chapter 104, where Natsuhiko spreads his blood across the clock, thus executing the plan to go after the last yorishiros.
And these were all the arts released so far, the arts that reference the arc in this case. They all seem to be retelling the story of the Festival arc. Now why? Why would AidaIro be recapping the last arc?
We know that the past has changed and everything has a chance of being different from what we know. We go back to the beginning of the festival, where nothing had happened yet. Therefore, none of these events had happened, if everything really changed, the arts are telling an alternative version of history, the version we know.
Moving from analysis to theory... did you notice that almost all arts have a black border? Black borders are used to indicate flashbacks, the past in JSHK. Now, why would they be using this artifice? Assuming the present has changed, this would be the past. But not a past like something that happened years ago, but a past that no longer exists, in the sense of what it was before this current one. That's why the black borders, indicating that this would be the past.
What breaks this theory is Sakura's art in her maid outfit, as it doesn't have a black border. Maybe the borders are part of the new AidaIro style and are something made to style the arts, or actually have a connection to something. Well, that part is just a crazy theory.
But what do you think of this analysis? The images seem to be telling the arc of the festival all over again, and for what reason? Maybe we'll find out on the 18th, when chapter 112 comes out.

I feel like hanako is the one that would understand kou the most, he probably knows how he feels.
they have different reason to be like that, but it's the same thing kind. your not really happy, but you'll be here just for them.
i kinda wanna see more hanako and kou interacting seriously, because if there's someone who can understand how kou feels, it's definitely hanako.
they kind of have the same feelings.
i wish they could talk less 'goofy'.
i know its a comical shonen, but well, it's a shonen.
their conversations would be interesting and maybe, kou will finally open up, atleast to someone.
and well maybe even hanako will say something that might move the story, though i wouldn't know WHAT he would say.
i don't know if anyone has the same feelings, but i appreciate any critics.

JSHK 102
CALLED IT
No. 1’s power DOES allow you to travel through time within the school. Seriously, what is with Kamome Academy?
I first thought that we might go back to when Amane ‘killed’ Tsukasa, but in the flashback, Amane didn’t have his injuries yet. Maybe the injuries didn’t come from Tsukasa at all. Maybe something happened during the School Festival which ended up in a student dying and Amane and Tsukasa were somehow involved in it. Because of that, they faced extreme bullying? Or Amane ended up shouldering the injuries and he let himself get beat up because he considers it his fault that that student died? (Ooooh, what if it was Sakura?)
With everything that we now know about Tsukasa, I can’t help but have mixed feelings with him still. Bad end is him really just messing with Nene for nefarious reasons. Good end is him using convoluted time travel shenanigans to get Nene to somehow save Amane. Because I can’t help but think why is that Nene always seems to get roped into time travel involving Amane? Even if it was a supernatural effect of the school, it’s too coincidental that she ends up traveling to Amane’s past. So perhaps them being bound by the mermaid scale (red thread) factors into this. If the records (fate) can still be changed, maybe just maybe it’s Nene saving Amane which extends her lifespan.
MitsuNene bonding was fun. Nene as savvy as she is really is the wrong genre savvy. She keeps thinking she’s in a normal romcom when in fact she’s in a supernatural horror mystery. The MitsuKou was strong in this one with how Mitsuba relates Nene’s experience with Hanako to his own experience with Kou (‘Aren’t you afraid of falling deeper in love with him?’) Bad end says the parallels keep on getting cemented because Mitsuba and Hanako will end up as lost loves while Nene and Kou end up together. But I still can’t help but hope because the fact that Mitsuba lays it out so clearly here (‘You think you can stay with us forever.’) makes me think that this likely future is being set-up to be subverted. Because everyone knows that the obvious set-up is for this tragedy. There’s no way there’s a happy ending for all of them. But precisely because of that, that I think that AidaIro might subvert our expectations. And I can’t help but think that Tsukasa is somehow key to that.

what if the end of Mitsuba's spirit will be exactly how Kou originally wanted to help him pass on.
he was a spirit made of many regrets, and with the promise between them, what if Mitsuba passes on because he's content?

hot take: mitsuba will be revealed to be ALIVE in the new timeline the clock keepers just made >:3
ive made theories on my Instagram before about this, but basically to put it simply: mitsuba unalived himself in the red house and had a deep connection towards it— and a lot of evidence and supporting story context goes with it.
so if Tsukasa never existed, that means the red house was never haunted nor an outcast— or atleast it was haunted but the family never had the tragedies that made the house an outcast to the others.
if mitsuba took a picture of the red house for some reason, it would probably be because he felt a deep connection due to everybody being disgusted and scared to go near it— his whole character revolves around his outcast-ness and has traits whereas nobody wants to be his friend or get too close, just like the house. Seeing this, Mitsuba connected with the house and took a photo because that’s what photographers do— take photos of things that are meaningful to them— especially Mitsuba.
and later I think he also maybe got depressed and he might’ve had his last moments there, because it’s a destination perfect for unaliving where nobody would find you because nobody wants to enter.
It would be super ironic as well, because it wouldn’t mean that the moment that mitsuba turned supernatural he was Tsukasa’s “toy”, it means that the moment he chose to enter the house, the entity within tsukasa decided Mitsuba was his, and has been toying with this poor child since.
anyways— if Tsukasa never existed, that would mean that the house would never have caught Mitsuba’s attention (hypothetically) to take the picture and Mitsuba would have the SLIGHTEST chance of still being alive. Whether he met someone, or one small decision went a long way, whatever it is. The butterfly effect is HUGE, and if Mitsuba really did unalive himself and the destination he did it in was never there— then maybe he never did it.
and I know this clashes with the canon scene where his mother explains that he died in a car accident. That’s the only plot hole in this theory. I’m still waiting in the story for more clues and looking into it, but I’m not giving up. It all connects very well and I think something is brewing. I made the theory so long ago about the same entity that was sacrificing kannagi was inside tsukasa, and it was just revealed canon so I’m definitly more confident in my theories now.

No but in the arc where we find out about the clock keepers and nene’s lifespan(I forgot what it was called) it is stated that the clock keepers abilities do not work as effectively on supernaturals. What does this mean. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN.
I feel that it would be dissappointing if shijima/mitsuba was actually alive and their mystery selves don’t exist at all in this present, period. With no memories coming back to them. Or anything, really.
Aidalro what are the ramifications of this I am in your walls

Yesterday I was thinking about something... remember the first time Tsukasa saw Yashiro and Kou? That time in volume 4
Well, I went to take a look at it and noticed something interesting, Tsukasa's reaction when he saw the two was the same, he said the same thing, he just had different expressions.
Let me show you
Tumblr media
That was his reaction when he saw Yashiro, "wow" was what he said with an expression that was kind of impressed and surprised at the same time, and then he held her hand and smiled at her.
Let's take a look on his reaction with Kou now
Tumblr media
It was the same reaction. "Wow" again, but this time he seemed more shocked and angry
These could be completely normal reactions and easy to ignore, if it weren't for what happened at the Red House. That's where Tsukasa met Yashiro and Kou, it was his first contact with them
At that time the two helped and protected Tsukasa, they had empathy and compassion for him. One of the first people to care about him probably, he was very happy with their visit, he said so himself
Tumblr media
Tsukasa liked them both, he still likes Yashiro, remember? He doesn't hate her, she helped him in the past, why would he hate her? Same reason with Kou, especially since Kou was the one who spent the most time with him. In fact, Tsukasa is grateful to them for visiting.
Apart from the fact that Kou said all those things to Tsukasa, but I'll ignore that for now
Tsukasa having the same reaction to both of them is now justified, so it's not a coincidence. I believe that Tsukasa with the seal has all the memories from the Red House, so from the beginning of the story he already knew who Nene Yashiro and Kou Minamoto were
This reaction demonstrates surprise and how impressed he was with these situations. The people who helped him before were now against him. Anyone would be surprised, right? Especially Tsukasa who doesn't have a good understanding of emotions
Speaking more directly about his reactions, I'll start with Yashiro.
In addition to being impressed, his surprise may be that she is together with Hanako, and her purifying powers are being shown. And she really hurt Tsukasa in a way, attacking him first. The shock of seeing an old friend is present here, the surprise of seeing where that person has come, and even more so being so close to someone you love. Maybe he felt hurt? Betrayed? She attacked him, she didn't remember who he was. But maybe he already expected this, he knew it could happen.
Talking about Kou
Tsukasa was in shock to see Kou again, and perhaps more shocked to see his old friend with such an angry expression on his face. That expression was for Tsukasa. Kou didn't recognize him either. How could he? That hadn't happened yet, at least for Kou. Tsukasa was also angry that Kou was interrupting his goal at the moment.
This is it. He was surprised to see two old friends again, and this time, against him.

SPOILERS FOR CHAPTER 104!!!
Holy crap natsuhiko is a human who can't die and has apparently been "killed" before and his blood is venomous to supernaturals
This is already causing me to freak because wow but also I was in the process of writing out a theory I have about sakura
In the hotel au Sakura is said to be both dead and not dead, and that she is sleeping until she meets someone she made a promise to meet. This along with Tsukasa saying that Sakura would finally be able to go outside after a century already had me suspicious but natsuhiko's role just solidifies this connection in my mind
Tumblr media
Natsuhiko is said to be "someone's resurrection experiment gone wrong" 👀 kinda like how in the main storyline it seems like he's a product of resurrection.
In the bakeneko au natsuhiko claims that he was saved by Sakura and was told not to go back to the Ryokan but he decides to anyways because he wants to see her again.
Perhaps sakura was the one who resurrected him in the main storyline, saving him and giving him his immortality, which is why he's so enamored with her despite her rejections of him.
And perhaps the real reason that Sakura rejects natsuhiko isn't so much out of actual disdain for him but rather because she is waiting for the that person who will wake her from her eternal slumber.
Although I suspect this person might actually be Tsukasa since he's connected to some time travel shenanigans and is the one who's supposed to grant Sakura's wish so maybe not....
Either way, some really interesting stuff going on here and I'm really loving the broadcast crew getting some good good lore and can't wait to see what happens next.

Okay okay I have a big ass theory about this that I have for as long as I read red house arc.
Tumblr media
It's gonna get a lil religious (tbhk is revolved around shinto religion)
The thing inside of him is god like, it grants wishes, just like who hat made the seven mysteries.
Child tsukasa gave his body to the creature, but a spirit (yūrei) curropted like that can't just move on.
So a part of him stayed in the home he's had always been, and a part of him in his body shared with that thing that he met under his house.
But a yorishiro is the memory of something dear to you. Tsukasa is not what he was when he was alive.
Back in the day we see him more social and kind towards people and understanding of his surroundings, while yorishiro tsukasa is... None of that, he acts like a 4 year old.
He acts like a child with no understanding of what's real or not, and the other side of him, the more violent and the one that plans all, we see it when his iris is all dark, when his eyes are completely black.
That's the creature inside him still being in control even after dying
What Im trying to get that is that tsukasa might still be himself, but curropted by the supernatural inside him, a gid even that grants wishes that go against the laws of this world

Amane fixing the clock and finally Tsukasa also appeared in the Showa Era.
Tumblr media
I don't like the pose Tsukasa is in.
Tumblr media
Maybe that's why Amane doesn't remember why he wanted to fix the clock. Tsukasa could erase what he was doing it for. The strange thing is that when he looked at the clock, he remembered coming and fixing the clock, but he couldn't remember why. That particular memory had been erased from his mind. It's possible that Tsukasa erased that memory from him then.
Considering how important it was for Amane to fix it , he must have known something was really bad will happaned and maybe Tsukasa was involved? Was he trying to stop something bad? Knowing it was coming.. or he wanted to solve a problem he had in a different way not by murder... I previously wrote that Amane must have had a really special reason to kill Tsukasa, and I keep coming back to the thought that possibly the clock is related to the murder case.
Tumblr media
Amane knew/suspected that Tsukasa wasn't a "normal" human and possibly also knew about the existence of supernaturals at the school.
I wonder what the life of the twins was like when the mother returned from the temple with her son, after all, she did not get help so she went with the conviction that it was "not her son"
Tumblr media
I have a feeling that Tsukasa helped Amane make the choice to kill him. Amane was forced to kill Tsukasa for some good reason.
Tumblr media
The festival that is about to take place may be a shock for Amane to recall some events... and possibly get Amane backstory or backstory related to this event...
It seems that something really bad is going to happen and it's possible that the same thing is about to happen in the Shouwa era.
