tsukasa & nene, wish granted —

“Isn’t this what you wanted?” Tsukasa says.

Nene’s mouth is clasped, she’s unable to make her a sound; she stares in horror. It is what she wished for. She was thinking of it, doing everything to get someone to fall for her, even if it was fake, just because of magic — this is exactly what Nene had wished for, had asked for but… but… but…

okay, so i am really super duper excited for this wip. it’s an alternative universe, roleswap (uh, does this count as a roleswap? probably) in where instead of hanako, nene goes to tsukasa to grant her wish of having someone fall for her and it goes horribly wrong. I still haven’t made a decision on whether nene is a supernatural, on the fence for that. Since, y’know Tsukasa grants wishes for the supernatural but… Sakura & Hyuuga aren’t one (or are they?).

actually, thinking about it now, it would be just much easy to make Nene a human instead of a supernatural. maybe, I can explore Nene as a supernatural in another fic…. since whether she is a supernatural or not isnt really what I want to explore in this one but damn, my mind is racing here and I really, really like the idea of supernatural!nene and tsukasa interacting. Oh no, now I’m thinking of a supernatural!nene and human!tsukasa au. But gotta put a hold on that, or I’m never get anywhere, lol.

back to this wip! I thought it would be so fun to tsukasa have grant nene’s wish: because in canon, she didn’t care what she had to do initially to make minamoto fall for her, swallowed that mermaid scale without a thought and really thought of giving the other one to teru. so I was like! fantastic! what if nene realises y’know how bad shallow her wish was but…after it’s granted in the most horrible way because of course, it’s tsukasa. going of how minamoto teru is well known to the supernaturals—I don’t think that tsukasa is gonna want to mess with him, though, since it’s gonna turn out all tricky and stuff and he knows that nene’s wish isn’t that. she just wants someone to love her. and when he hears that deepest secret from the depth of her heart or soul, the strongest, he’s grins. and gets some poor sode and experiments and well, the end result isn’t pretty at all.

nene is suddenly hit by full force of reality and what her wish meant. tsukasa going “isn’t this what you wanted?” but it’s not, she never meant… yes :) it’s gonna be so good. I already got this bit written. well. actually the only thing I got written, I haven’t worked on it since but it’s been on my mind a lot. i wanted to work stuff about the au and how nene would have approached tsukasa before continuing and what kind of supernatural she would be if she was one and—well! finally! I know what the hell I am gonna do. Kind of. Oh no, im back again to the “supernatural or not supernatural” again. this is why I hate my mind.

thing is… I was like thinking about whether to make hanako and tsukasa swap and make tsukasa be the one to grant wishes to humans but i don’t want that (I mean, it’s interesting and all but y’know don’t want it for this au) but like! if nene is a human! how would tsukasa grant her a wish? or should I just ignore that bit of canon and just make tsukasa make a wish for her? if then, how the hell would she come in contact with tsukasa. oh man, just a bunch of questions that bother me. I mean I don’t have to an answer to them and could just write…but…! I need to…!

ok. so I went off and did some more thinking and yeah, actually, I want nene to be a supernatural. it would be suit. I like the idea of sakura and hyuuga (wtf I just realised this names are in naruto as well….) being some sort of supernaturals as well. and urgh, now I gotta think about what supernatural she’d be… which means research time. huh, if nene is gonna be supernatural—that makes me think of yako parallels.
