My headcanon for Ghostwriter is that Lucie outlives Jesse by a few years (the life expectancy for women was 3 years more than men at the time) but he comes back as a ghost (a normal one this time) and haunts her and their family because death can't do them apart <3 Then, once she dies, they cross the threshold together

Birthday Book Haul

My Chain of Thorns LitJoy finally came in and so did a ARC of "Going Bicoastal" by Dahlia Adler coming out June 2023 that I won from a Goodreads giveaway! I love writing, and Ghostwriter, but I’m terrible at coming up with ideas with actual context, so I am now taking Jesse and Lucie writing prompts. You can submit requests in the notes or my ask box. If you request something, it will be posted on both tumblr and ao3 on the 25th at the earliest for ghostwriterfest 2023 :)

Please be specific about the context of your prompt, and don’t ask for anything that would require me to go over, say, 15k words. I’m bad at writing smut so I won’t write any of that. I have nothing against modern or historical AUs, but they’re not really my style, so let’s keep it in the canonical timeframe. Also, keep in mind that I’ve only read TLH and SoBH, so please don’t ask for anything that involves the TMI or TDA cast.

I am open to post-canon, pre-canon (though I’m not sure how it would fit with them), missing scenes, and canon divergent AUs. I adore Grace and would love to write something involving her, please note that I will ignore both Kit’s death and Jesse’s reaction to the gracelet.
