One thing that Jungkook isn’t fond of is being inside a nightclub with a bunch of people that are dancing and singing like there is no tomorrow. He wasn’t a fan of parties particularly if he doesn’t know many people around him. And right now, he was just sitting in the corner watching the crowd go crazy. He drank the glass of whiskey that he’s holding and took a deep breath. When he looks at the dancing lights, he knows that he’s already intoxicated by the alcohol because the lights are too harsh to look at.

He was already getting bored at this party. The only reason why he’s in here is mainly because his friend Hoseok hosted it. It was his 27th birthday and he doesn’t want to be a bad friend and ditch him. He wasn’t going to get drunk if he’s with his group of friends because he knew for sure that he loved watching them getting drowned in alcohol. But they are in the crowd wilding. He wasn’t in the mood for a wild dance and the only thing he can do is sit here and drink alone.

He was already planning to leave the place when his eyes caught a woman wearing a halter metallic blue dress that was above her knees dancing along with her friends. She isn’t facing Jungkook so it was only her back that he can see but he was mesmerized with how her dress hugged her body. He was waiting for her to turn around and when she did, he was blown away. It wasn’t so long when he caught her eyes to look at him. She knew damn well that he was staring and she gave her that dance move that made Jungkook stand up from his seat and walked toward her. She’s like a diamond that shines in the dark. “You didn’t even hide how you were dripping over me.” She said as she loosely hold Jugkook’s neck while doing her moves. Jungkook immediately knew that she was drunk by the way her eyes stared at him.

“Why would I hide it?” He smirked while caressing her waist. He narrows himself from her side to whisper. “What’s your name?” He asked.

“Y/N.”

He admitted, meeting you is the only thing he likes during the whole night. Jungkook can’t help but admire your beauty and get turned on by how your body is dancing with his touch. It sounds cliche but when he’s with you, everything becomes blurred. He doesn’t notice how loud the music is and how the people are overpowering the dance floor. And with that, he closed the distance between the two of you. Your lips were so soft just how he imagined it would be. He wasn't surprised when you responded from his kiss. You pressed his nape to deepen the kiss and Jungkook’s palms traveled at your butt and squeezed it.

And the next thing you both knew, you’re at Jungkook’s range rover. It was hell of a night for the both of you. You were at the top of him while he fucks you. You were so drunk and horny to even realize the things that you are doing while Jungkook is in heaven because of you.

When you woke up in an unfamiliar room and lying beside a man, you felt like a cold water splash in you. You immediately rose up and picked up your clothes. You were panicking while wearing your clothes and afraid that you might wake up the man sleeping. You are overwhelmed with fear and you take a deep breath to calm yourself. You then think of the things that happened last night and you hate it because you remember almost everything. You don’t even know the person lying in the bed and you don’t even know who he is but you end up looking up to check him up. And you wish you did not.

Jeon Jungkook. The son of Jeon Tae-soo. The most influential member of the National Assembly yet he’s involved in graft and corruption and suspected of running an illegal drug dealing business operation. Your face turned white and you wished to burn in the ground. Your parents will kill you if they knew that you had a connection with him or any member of the Jeon family and most especially, your boyfriend will kill you when he found out that you slept with someone while both of you aren’t on good terms.

You looked around and you weren’t surprised at how huge Jungkook’s bedroom is. A huge room painted with white matching the brown color of the huge curtains. His floors are fully carpeted and he has a couch in the corner of the room. The view of his window are the city of Seoul and if you weren’t in a fucked up situation, you would be thinking that you love to stay in here. But you are and you have to leave now. You gave Jungkook a last glance before you slowly and quietly left the room.

Jungkook was disappointed when he woke up and didn’t see you. He wished that you stayed or he woke up first before you did. He touched the bottom of his lips as he remembered what happened last night. That thought alone turned him on. He remembers vividly the taste of you and how you moaned his name while he fucks your cunt. He remembers the texture of your skin and how soft they are. Jungkook touched the side of his bed where you slept and imagined that you were still lying beside him. The sun is already hitting his face but he chose to close his eyes while he caressed the pillow where you lie at. The room temperature is low yet he feels hot just by just thinking of you.

He lies down and grabs his phone to find out how he is going to contact you. You’re at Hoseok’s party therefore, Hoseok knows you. How come he doesn’t know that Hoseok has a friend like you? He went to Hoseok’s instagram profile and looked at his following and typed your name and he was glad that your profile immediately appeared in the following list but unfortunately, your profile is private. He immediately hit the follow request and hoped that you would accept it right away.

Jungkook opens the conversation box of him and Hoseok to message him.

JK: Do you have Y/N’s contact number?

Hoseok didn’t respond immediately so he visited your profile hoping that you already accepted his follow request but sadly, you still did not. He doesn’t even know how long he’s been staring at your profile icon. It was a stolen picture of you sitting in a cafe. Damn, you were so perfect and he can’t wait to meet you again. But his fantasies ended when his father’s name popped out on his phone screen. He already has an idea why his father called him.

“Abeonim.”

“Son, you might have forgotten that you have to be present in the press conference later this afternoon.” His father speaks. Jungkook closed his eyes as he massaged his temple before he responded.

“Yes I did not forget.” When his father dropped the call, he took a deep breath as he stared at the ceiling.

Jungkook’s family is one of the powerful families when it comes to politics. His father is the national assembly’s floor leader leading the people power party for almost 3 years while his grandfather used to work at the office of the president. Everyone is looking up to them by being the perfect politician and law-making people; however, behind closed doors, the Jeon family is the opposite of what the people see. They have to be the perfect public server and law-maker to cover all those dirty jobs they do.

And now that his father’s name is at risk because there is another political enemy that filed a lawsuit against him, they have to clean it up. His father made to drop the case against him and now, he has to clear his name for the people to return their loyalty.

They’re been doing this for years already. Even though there are people who tried to bring them down, no one succeeded. That’s how powerful and influential they are.

The press conference ended smoothly and of course, one of the reasons why it succeeded is because all the media that was invited was in favor of them. Tae-soo won’t allow any reporter who would turn the table against him.

Tae-soo made a toast for the success of the conference. Jungkook raises his wine glass before he sips it. The room is filled with a lot of politicians and the majority of them were in his father’s political party. He was just observing how his father celebrated getting away with everything as the other politician laughed along with his father. Ever since the conference started, he hasn't said anything. Maybe because he doesn’t have anything to say or maybe he was already getting tired with this setup. He’s afraid that he’d be choosing the latter.

“But Mr. Jeon, you should be careful because Y/L/N Ye-jin is running to take a seat in the national assembly under democratic party.” Mr. Yun said, a member of the national assembly.

“Let her have her wishful thinking because that won’t happen. I won’t let that woman enter the national assembly.” Jungkook’s father responds.

After that night, Jungkook is still in his blues since you hadn’t accepted his follow request and Hoseok doesn’t respond to his messages. He tried to call him but he wasn’t answering and he’s now getting displeased. On normal days, he doesn’t mind if his friends don't reply to his messages but right now, he wanted a response. Although Jungkook knew that the reason why Hoseok isn’t responding is because he was still wasted from last night but with Jungkook’s puerile attitude, he won’t accept it. Now that the next day came, he went straight to Hoseok's office with annoyance in him. The first thing that he sees when he opens the door is Hoseok lying on the couch with a book covering his face.

“You know damn well that I can fire you right now.” The first thing that Jungkook said and Hoseok just groaned in response. “Why aren’t you answering my text?”

“Give me a break, man. I haven't been well since my birthday.” Hoseok turned to the other side.

“And whose fault is that?”

Hoseok has been working in Jungkook’s company ever since they graduated. Both of them have been friends since highschool and both of their fathers are in politics. The only difference is, political position is the only source of living of the Jung family while Jeon family is still a billionaire without a political position. The Jeon family owns a real estate company with a market value of 1.3B won. And even though Jeon Tower Corp doesn’t exist, they make billions of won with Jeon Tae-soo’s favorite business behind closed doors: drugs.

“What is your text anyways?” Hoseok asked—still not moving in his position.

“Do you know Y/N? She’s at your party the other day.” Jungkook sat at the coach opposite to Hoseok.

“Y/F/N? Yeah. She’s a friend of mine. We became friends from a common friend.” Hoseok turned his body to face Jungkook but he’s still enjoying the comfort of his couch. “What about her?”

“I want her number.” Hoseok’s eyes widened and he immediately sat down from his position. “What? You looked surprised.” Jungkook added.

“Holy shit! What happened with the both of you during the party?” Hoseok moves towards Jungkook to listen to him.

“It’s none of your business. Just give it to me.” from Hoseok’s mood a while ago, now he doesn’t look like he’s sick after all. However, Hoseok suddenly frowned before he spoke.

“Oh man, I hate to break this to you but she’s taken.”

With what Hoseok said, Jungkook was suddenly taken aback. It felt like heaven and the earth fell from him. He didn’t notice that he was staring at Hoseok for a few seconds already.

“But we fucked. A lot of times.” Hoseok’s mouth dropped to the ground and his eyes were wider than before and he said loudly his first curse of the day.

“Motherfucker! Are you being for real?! Her and Namjoon have been in a relationship for a year or two already!” Hoseok’s hands flew to his mouth to cover them from the shocking news he just heard.

Jungkook didn’t say anything. It felt like he hadn't processed everything that his friend just said. He looked away and to be honest, his head was empty.

“Did Y/N cheated on Namjoon? Holy shit it can’t be. They were the perfect couple.” Even Hoseok cannot believe everything. He’s been speaking a lot and Jungkook isn’t even listening. After a few moments of having his mind empty, the first thing he thought was why did she do it? Why did she let me fuck her like she doesn’t have someone to do it for her?

Your actions screams you were single and fucking ready to get taken. You dance in his touch like no one has been touching you for years. You kissed him like you were thirsty and you fucked him like there is no tomorrow. You let him fuck and marked you like you were his. But why did you let that happen even though you were in a relationship?

Jungkook is disappointed. Very disappointed. Yet there is something that’s telling him to still shoot his shot.

“I still want her number.” Jungkook responded after everything his friend said.

“The hell man? After all I said?”

“Just fucking give it to me!” Jungkook is already frustrated because Hoseok has a lot to say that he doesn’t even ask.

“K, fine.I’ll send it to you.” Hoseok grabbed his phone from the center table and immediately sent your number to Jungkook. “Ah, kook.” Hoseok said, realizing something. “Are you also aware that Y/N’s family is a big rival of your family? Y/N’s mother is the person who usually files a lawsuit against your father.”

And it hit him. Y/L/N Ye-jin has a similar last name to yours. Out of all that Hoseok said, it was what he didn’t expect the most. You’ve been hearing Mrs. Y/L/N’s name a lot of times from his father and grandfather. She’s been a threat of the family for years already. Out of all his family’s rivalry, Mrs. Y/L/N is the name that he heard the most because she never stops trying to bring them down.

After Hoseok’s birthday party, you were uneasy up until now. It’s been a week yet your conscience is still eating you alive. You never tell anyone what happened between you and Jungkook during the party. You were also scared that there might be someone who saw you dancing with him or someone saw you leaving the place with him. And the worst part is, the next day when things happen between you and Jungkook, Namjoon asked for forgiveness. You and your boyfriend had a huge fight because you were accusing him of cheating yet it turns out that you were the one who cheated. Conscience doesn’t let you sleep.

You really wanted to tell the truth to Namjoon but once you do, it’s over for the both of you and you won’t want that to happen.

You were still occupied from your seat when the head manager of your department calls for a meeting with all interns and you find it weird since the head manager doesn't call for a sudden meeting.

“To pass your six months probationary period, you’d be tasked to be part of a different department in a partnered company. You’d be the first interns to experience an outside company task which would be a big opportunity since you would be working in a bigger corporate organization.” The manager starts.

“It would train you all to be equipped and to be intelligent when you face a bigger problem. Of course, it would benefit our company as well since you gain a wider knowledge.”

You were occupied with your own thoughts and you weren’t actually listening. You’ve been slacking at your job and it is something you should worry about because you were not yet a regular employee. But here you are, not paying attention to what your head manager is saying.

Before you sleep that night, you received a follow request notification from your instagram account. The user is Hoseok. You find it strange because Hoseok already has an account. But then his bio said ‘2nd account’ so you didn’t overthink it and just hit the accept button before you follow him back. A username caught your eye before you pressed the home button of your account. It was Jungkook’s profile. He was in your follow request for a week already and you do not have the plan to accept him. He only reminds you of the mistake you made that night and you wanted to forget about it and move on. Out of all the usernames in your follow request, his user is the only one you deleted. Maybe you should fully forget everything that happens to give yourself peace.

After three days, the final probationary task starts and the interns of your company including you are now in JTC. A real estate company. You don’t really think much about the task because you know that your company won’t kick any interns as long as the one month task is completed. Everything would be the same and the only difference is, you’re not in your company.

You were tasked to be part of the finance department and it kinda sucks because you were alone while the other interns are all together. The supervisor gave a quick tour to meet your colleagues and familiarize you with the office. You were starting to get bored and felt relieved when it's almost over. You only have to meet the CEO before you go and start your work.

Jungkook is sitting in his swivel chair while playing with his pen and shaking his legs. His heartbeat was far from normal and he couldn't stop looking at his wrist watch. It was taking so long. The interns should be here. You should be here. But before he knew it, he heard a knock on the door and it swung open.

“Sir, the interns are here.” The supervisor entered as she was followed by the interns. Followed by you. He stands up in his seat and walks toward the supervisor. “These are Yohan, Wheein, Moonbyul and Mina. They are tasked to be in the marketing department while this is Y/N. She is tasked to be in the finance department.” You were wearing a white long sleeve blouse that is tucked into your above-the-knee skirt with a pair of 2-inch black shoes and the end of your pitch black hair is curled. You also have accessories that emphasize your elegance. It was very different from what you wear on Hoseok’s birthday yet you were still perfect. The truth is, he started to like you more.

Jungkook doesn’t leave his eyes on you. It was obvious that you weren’t pleased to be here but he doesn’t care. You are already here to work under him. It’s been almost two weeks since the last time he saw you and the change in your personality is visible. That night, you were a wolf wilding in the middle of the forest. Now, you were a puppy that was lost in a big crowd. How interesting. Despite the change of personality, he was still longing for you. It takes a lot of self control not to jump over you and kiss you like how he kissed you that night. It’s been almost two weeks but he remembered everything like it just happened yesterday.

Jungkook doesn’t want to overwhelm you too much because it was obvious that you were shocked to see him so he didn’t say much and let you and the others leave his office and start your work.

It’s already been minutes after you left the office along with the others yet he was still staring at the door. To be honest, it wasn’t sinking in him that you are now in here. In his company and ready to work. He planned it all. Everything that just happened, it was all his plan. He was satisfied with how everything turned out.

He sat back in his chair and grabbed his phone to visit your instagram profile. You have a new story that is about 1 hr ago. It was a selfie of you. You were smiling wide with a heart emoji and he immediately took a screenshot. He wasn’t using his account. In fact, it was Hoseok’s. It was funny because he created an account under Hoseok’s profile to follow you and he wasn’t surprised when you immediately accepted it. But then he was kinda hurt when you deleted his follow request after you accepted Hoseok’s. But that’s not the important thing now. What’s important is that you're here and about to work with him.

“How's the last task in your probationary period? Have you already transferred to the new company?” You were started when your mother asked that over dinner. You didn’t expect that she would remember it. You mentioned it last time and you didn’t find it a big deal. But now, it is and you wouldn’t want your family to know that you are working under the company of their rivals.

You and your family were having a conversation over dinner. It’s how your family stays connected with each other despite all the busy schedule of the day. And also, dinner is the only thing that all of you are complete, therefore, you always take the opportunity to catch up with one another.

“The company discontinued it. They decided not to do it because they find it a waste of time.” You reasoned out before you took a bite of your food.

“Well actually, that’s weird if they continue it. You apply to them but they let you work in another and much better company.” Your younger sister Minji commented. “What company were you supposed to work for?” She suddenly asked.

“A-ahhh.” You stuttered. You looked at her as she waited for your answer. “P-Pungbuhan Reality.” You answered and her left eyebrow rose.

“Pungbuhan Realty? I never heard of that.”

“After the press conference of Jeon Tae-soo last May 7th, he was back at work and donated 23 Million won for a charity event.”

The news caught your family’s attention. They were watching and if looks could kill, the TV would probably explode.

“The audacity of that monster! Charity event of what? Drug dealing charity?! Of course he would fake his donation to make the people believe that he was the good one! He’s making a fool of everyone!” Your mother spoke with anger. You were watching the news while your family was throwing comments against Jeon Tae-soo. It was obvious how your family loathed him. The truth is, your family loathed the whole Jeon family. They've witnessed how the Jeon family played the game. Both of your parents are working with the law. Your mother is the governor of Seoul while your father is a public attorney. Both of them knew how dirty the Jeon is when it comes to politics and how they are hungry for power. They would do anything for money and power.

So as much as possible, you wouldn’t want them to know that you are working under Jeon. You didn’t want this in the first place. You were about to move on from your mistake but then, this happened. Now, you have no choice but to comply with everything or else, you’d end up unemployed.

You were having a smooth work at your desk when your supervisor called you to submit a file in Jungkook’s office. You were thinking of saying no but you realized that you’re working at the moment and you have to be professional enough so you took the files from your supervisor and took a deep breath. For you to loosen up, you just think that maybe he already forgot everything that happened. Maybe it wasn’t a big deal for him and you were just overthinking things.

Jungkook fixed his posture when he heard a knock from the door. He already expected who’s going to enter the door and he can’t help but to smile before he told the person to enter. He bit the inside of his cheeks to prevent himself from smiling while you enter his office. You were like a flower that bloomed. You were so beautiful and he wishes that he could stare at you forever.

“Sorry to interrupt but Mrs. Chong asked me to give this to you.” You spoke in a low voice. You weren’t looking at him while you were putting the files down to his table. You hoped that he couldn't hear the loud beats of your heart. “I’d be going now.” You said and you turned around but before you even touched the door knob, Jungkook spoke.

“I’d like to speak with you.” your body suddenly froze and you started to shake when you heard him. You slowly turn to face him once again. He poked the inside of his cheeks using his tongue and it’s obvious that he’s preventing to smile. “Please take a seat.” He pointed at the chair in front of him. You were starting to sweat as you sat on the chair.

“Aren’t you going to say anything, Ms. Y/N?” He asked while smiling.

“Wha-what am I supposed to say?” if you angels are watching over now, they would fucking punch you on what you suddenly said. You’re stuttering, you sound sarcastic and a total disrespectful tone. You won’t be surprised if you suddenly become unemployed after this.

On the contrary, Jungkook found you adorable. You were obviously nervous and you just wanted to leave but he likes it when you are nervous around him. In fact, he loves it. He doesn’t even know if he was supposed to love the feeling. But then again, he’s the only one that would know how he loves it when you get nervous around him. You were the complete opposite of how you act that night and how you act right now. He might believe that you were a totally different person.

“I don’t know. What’s on your mind right now?” He answered with a question. You looked uncomfortable in your seat and your eyes were traveling around. You can’t answer him so he asks another question. “How’s your work so far?”

“It was… okay.” You answered and you tried to look him in the eye but you just can’t.

“Do you like working here?” He asks again.

“It’s okay.” He suddenly chuckled a few seconds after you responded. You looked at him like he was weird but again, he found you adorable.

“Do you know how you were so different right now from the last time I saw you?” Your face immediately turned red when he asked that. You looked away and he leaned to get close to you. You obviously didn’t anticipate that and he was enjoying it. He loves every reaction you make.

“D-do you have something important to say because I still have work to do, if you d-don’t mind.” You respond still stuttering.

“But I mind, Y/N. And the thing that I am going to discuss with you right now is much more important than the work that you were about to do.” With how he spoke, he sounded so professional but in reality, it was full of shits. You thought.

“I wanted to ask, why didn’t you wake me up before you left the next day?” You really can’t take this conversation so you stand up and prepare to leave.

“Sir, I’m sorry but I really have to leave.” You said and you turned around but before you walked away, he spoke.

“Why don’t you want to talk about it, Y/N? Is it because you don’t want to admit that you also enjoyed it or is it because of your boyfriend?”

How did he know about Joon? He doesn’t even know who you are not after that night.

Or that’s what you thought. You’re a daughter of their rival.

You faced him once again while you were trying to hold your tears. “Please, I know what I did was wrong and I am asking for your forgiveness.” You speak in a low voice.

“Oh, sweetheart, there’s nothing to forgive about. In fact, I have so much fun and if you would give me a chance, I’d love to do it again.” Jungkook sounds so sweet and he also sounds like what he said isn't wrong.

“It was a mistake and I regret that it happened. I’m so sorry Jungkook. It wasn't supposed to happen.” Jungkook’s delightful mood slowly turned into bitterness. He doesn’t like what you said and he wanted you to take it back.

“But it happened already, Y/N and ever since it happened, you cannot leave my mind. I can remember exactly how you feel that night.” he was dead serious as he spoke. Very different from the bubbly Jungkook just a while ago. He stood up and slowly walked towards you. You wanted to walk away but it seems like your feet are glued on the ground. He caressed your right cheeks and wiped away the tears that fell. You didn’t even notice that you were tearing already. He looked at your eyes with so much intensity and before you knew it, he closed the distance of the both of you. It took you seconds to realize it before you pushed him away and your palms met his cheeks. You were stunned to speak and he didn’t even move after you slapped him. Before something happens again, you immediately storm out of his office and you leave him dumbedfound.

You were rushing to get out of the building as you wiped your tears. You didn’t even notice that people were staring at you as you passed them. You already forgot to pretend that nothing happened but in reality, you can’t fake your emotions right now. It’s too much to take. There are a lot of thoughts that are coming in your head and you don’t even know how you are going to deal with it.

You try to calm yourself after you exit the building. You looked at the tall and beautiful yellow ginkgo trees. You took a deep breath and inhaled the fresh air to keep yourself composed. You looked at the busy streets of Seoul as you calmed down.

There must be a reason why Jungkook is doing this to you and you know for sure that it’s because of your family. You know damn well how your parents do their best to expose the Jeon family and to stop their wrongful activities. You pressed both of your lips together and you curled your fingers into your palm. What just happened proves that your family’s allegations toward Jeon Jungkook and the rest of his family are absolute truth.

Jungkook planned everything. You don’t know where he starts but he planned something. It might have already started way back at Hoseok's party or when he found out that you’re one of the interns. You know damn well that he’s going to use you to pay for every damage that your family brought to his family. He’s going to ruin you and you hate to admit it but the thought of it terrifies you. He got all the money and power but you only got courage and integrity. The law might be on your side but he got the resources to turn the table.

Jungkook is having dinner with his father and grandfather at the mansion. He hasn’t said much unless they asked him something. He’s always like this. Quiet and observant mostly when he’s with his family or with the other people in the political side.

“By the way, father. I’ve already closed the 15 Million deal with the Ridge organization. The shipment would be during midnight. And I’ve received the payment from Jang Won Yeong this morning. It’s crazy that he paid with 30 Million worth of cash.” Tae-soo discusses it with his father as he wipes the stain from his side lips. His father put his utensils down and gave his son a smile.

“You’re too good at this, son. I wonder when you’re going to train Jungkook in this kind of business we have.” Jungkook’s grandfather looked at him but his eyes didn’t look away at the food he’s eating.

“Let’s not pressure him. It’s not yet the time, father. For now, he should focus on managing JTC since it’s the only thing that his mother left him.” His father said as he tapped his shoulder and the only thing he did was glance at his father. Responding in this kind of discussion is only a waste of energy.

“Tae-soo, are you already aware that Y/L/N Ye-Jin announced her candidacy aiming for a seat in the national assembly under democratic party?” Grandfather asked.

“I knew already. As if she can take a seat. She doesn’t have the power to have it.” And with that, both Jungkook’s father and grandfather laugh in union. However, Jungkook looked at both of them with repugnance. It’s the first time that he felt that way when they mentioned your mother’s name. They have been detesting your mother for a long time yet this is the only time he reacted. Mentioning your mother feels like they are also mentioning your name and he isn’t liking it.

That same evening, Jungkook went to the nightclub where Hoseok hosted his birthday party and he was with his three trusted friends. He’s been visiting this place for almost every week hoping that he’ll see you again. Hoping that he can dance with you, kiss you and bring you home one more time. Just like that night.

It’s been days since the incident in his office happened and he hadn’t seen you after that. You didn’t resign but you filed a sick leave. He knew that you weren’t sick but he let you be. He admitted that what he did to you isn’t right and he knows that he has offended you. He’s been planning to make it up to you but he didn’t know how. He’s been attempting to message you from the number that Hoseok gave him but he’s afraid that you’ll only ignore him. Or worse, you might block him.

“Dude, you’re here to have fun. Not to attend someone’s burial.” Jimin lightly bumps Jungkook’s shoulder as he drinks his glass of whiskey.

“Yeah, man. You’ve been inviting us here for a week already but you don’t even look like you’re having fun!” Taehyung added and Jungkook just rolled his eyes in response before he looked at the crowd again.

“I told y’all. He's been broken-hearted for weeks already.” Hoseok joked and the two laughed.

“Shut the fuck up, hyung.” He responded without looking at them. He's been looking at the ground even though the lights are becoming harsh to look at but he endured it hoping to see you among them.

“But seriously, Kook. You really have to move on. She already made it clear to you that it was only a mistake and she also apologized. She’s already in a relationship, man. You're only going to hurt yourself if you pursue her.” Taehyung speaks as he rests his arms on Jungkook's shoulder.

Trust him when he says that he already tried it. He tried to forget about you and move on but damn, he just can’t do it. Day by day as he tries not to think of you, he will end up visiting your instagram profile. He would unconsciously recall the things that both of you did that night. He would stare at the side of his bed where you lie down as he imagines that you were there. He should be changing his bed sheets but he couldn’t do it because it was the only thing that he can remember from you. It was the only thing where he could feel your presence and he wouldn’t want it to fade away. There are nights that he was masturbating at the thought of you and the truth is, he couldn't come if he wasn’t thinking of you. You were the only one who could put him in heaven. He tried hooking up with someone once and he regretted it. No one can beat how good you are. He only ended up craving more for you.

The next day, Jungkook heard that you submitted a resignation letter from your company and he immediately called the company to tell them not to accept your resignation letter. He ordered his secretary to discuss with your company the things that they should do to you. He wouldn't let that happen. He doesn’t want you to leave your work just because of him and most especially, he wouldn’t allow you to cut your connection with him.

“Y-you what?” You can’t believe what your company CEO has told you. She did not approve your resignation letter for the reason that you were still in a probationary period and in addition, you aren’t technically working for them in the meantime. Therefore, the only option you have is to wait for the probationary period to end or you have to submit a resignation letter to JTC since you are working at them right now. It’s bullshit because it was their accountability since you weren’t the one who chose to have a probationary period in another company. You find it unfair.

“I’m sorry, Y/N. It was the company’s policy. Maybe you can submit your resignation letter to JTC and they might approve it.” She says.

“But I’m still under your company even though I’m having my probationary task in JTC.” You reason out.

“You’re correct, however, while you’re in JTC, they are the one who’s in control of you therefore, they are the one who are capable of accepting your resignation letter.” You don’t want to be disrespectful but you can’t help but to roll your eyes and turn away. You really can’t believe that you’re in this situation right now. It was fucking rediculous. You feel like destiny is playing with you. At this point, you wanted to use some of your family’s power to get you away with this situation but of course, they won’t allow it. They don’t take advantage of the power they have. They would also kill you if they found out that you’re working under the Jeon family. Or maybe they can think otherwise since you weren’t aware. They might help you get away. But then, you were afraid to confront your family about this.

And now, you can’t believe that you’re standing in front of Jeon Jungkook’s office door to submit a resignation letter. You have to face him once again and you hope that the event will be in favor of you this time. You knock three times before you open the double door. You peak for a while before you enter. Jungkook isn’t looking at you but to the files in front of him. You cleared your throat to get his attention and when he did, you closed the door to face him.

His office is so enormous that you could be lost in it. His office table is located at the front of the door so when you enter, he’s the first thing that you’ll see. It’s also bright because it doesn’t have any curtains and his office is surrounded with a massive glass where you can view the city of Seoul in 300 degrees.

He isn’t speaking and he’s obviously busy working on whatever files in front of him. You slowly walked towards him as you handled your letter. He only glances at your letter and proceeds on reading his files. When you figured that he’s ignoring you, you put down the letter on his desk.

“It’s a resignation letter… Sir.” you speak but he hasn’t said anything. After a few moments, he decided to close the folder in front of him to pay attention to you. He rested his chin on his hands as he looked at you with his straight face.

“You’re resigning for what reason?” He asks and you can’t help but to feel intimidated.

“I got a better opportunity. It'd be a waste if I didn’t grab it.” Both of your hands were stuck together as you responded. “It’s all in the letter.” You added. He did his mannerism where he poked the inside of his cheeks with his tongue.

“Do you seriously think that the ‘better opportunity’ that you are talking about will accept you? You haven’t even accomplished your probationary period and you have the audacity to resign after you only work for two days in my company?” He’s being sarcastic and he’s emphasizing every word he speaks. You didn’t respond right away and the silence filled the both of you.

“Believe me when I say that no one will hire you if you resign now.” He said before he opened another file to read.

“Then so be it.” You whisper but it’s enough for him to hear it. You were looking at your feet while playing with your fingers. “I appreciate your concern but it’s my decision to make.”

It somehow hurted Jungkook. You ignore the things that might happen to you if you resigned but you wouldn’t mind because you’re itching to leave this company. To leave him.

The truth is, he’s the reason why you’re in this situation right now. The reason why you end up having an ‘unnecessary’ probationary period right now. It wasn’t in your company’s policy but with his power, he can make it happen just for you to be close to him. But it hurted him because it’s obvious how you don’t really want to be in this situation. How you really want to get away despite the consequences that might happen.

But he won’t let you go just like that. He would do anything in his power to make you his. He’s been intoxicated by you and nothing can cure it.

With a snap, Jungkook’s intimidating and heavy aura changed. He looked at you with a pleading eye as he sighed. He slowly stood up from his seat without looking at you and he walked towards the giantinc window. He looked at the view before he faced you. You were still in your position waiting for him to talk.

“Y/N, listen. What happened the first time we encountered each other and the last thing that happened to us is my fault.” He started. “And I would like to sincerely apologize for what happened.”

“You were drunk that night and I admitted that I took advantage of it. I didn’t know that you’re in a relationship and I’m sorry. When I found out that you have a boyfriend, it did hurt my pride because I felt wronged. I thought that you also like what happened to us that night and I’m sorry if I misunderstood that.” He explained with a low and soft voice hoping that his sincerity touches you. You were waiting for him to continue and he did.

“I don’t have any excuse for my actions last time and I know that I’m out of line. I’m being a jerk and I have no excuse for that. I really want to apologize because it appears that my actions affected your decision when you decided to resign.” He was trying to catch your eyes and it seems that you were avoiding it. In fact, you are avoiding it because you knew that you were also the one to blame. He wouldn't have acted this way if you didn’t trigger him that night. You felt guilty because it appears that it was all his fault but in fact, you were the one who should be aware because you’re the one who’s in a relationship. You are the first to blame.

“U-uh, you see, I was at fault too, Jungkook. You shouldn’t take all the blame.” You speak after your long silence. “And I think that it’s better for us not to see each other again.” Jungkook immediately shook his head after you said it. He walks toward you.

“No, Y/N. We don’t have to do that. We can just forgive each other and forget all the things that happened.” He was in the urge to touch both of your shoulder but he save all his self control not to do it

You shook your head and looked away. “That’s not only the issue here. Do you even know who I am before you even met me during Hoseok’s party?” You started to sound annoyed because Jungkook doesn’t look like he understands the whole situation.

And with that, he realized what you were implying. You were talking about both of your family and it looks like it was a big deal for you. “Do you realize now? I shouldn’t be here in the first place because my family despises your family including you.” The tone of your voice rises. “And god knows you might be planning something against me or my family.”

“Why would I do that?”

“I don’t know?! Cause you’re basically Jeon Jungkook?!” You were starting to get angry. You don’t have a plan to argue with him about this. You don’t even have the plan to open this up because you thought that he’ll understand it immediately. But he’s acting dumb about it.

“Look, Y/N, I don’t give a fuck regarding the issue about your family and mine—”

“You don’t give a fuck? You don’t give a fuck?! Why? Because you’re a fucking privilege?! Because it doesn’t affect you and your power nor money?!” You cut him off because you were already fuming mad. You remember how your parents despise his family because of how greedy they are and right now, it’s showing. You try to calm down when he doesn't respond and it looks like he doesn’t have to plan to say anything. He was just staring at you.

You take a deep breath before you speak again. “You might be unbothered with the whole situation regarding both of our family but everything is political for me. I don’t want to get involved in any way with your family and it includes you. I am expecting that you would understand me.” You said with a low voice after you calmed down. He still isn’t speaking when you decide to turn your back to leave the office. “I also hope that this is the last time we see each other.”

“It looks good on you.”

You bit your lower lips to prevent yourself from smiling. You turned around for Namjoon to check the whole look. Both of you are having a shopping date around Myeongdong and right now, you’re asking him to check out the maxi dress that you are trying out. You give your boyfriend a quick peck on his lips before you return inside the dressing room. You decide to buy it because you love how your boyfriend looks at you while you wear the dress.

You’re in a relationship with Namjoon for a year and a half but he still gives you the same amount of butterflies just like in your first months. You might be used to his presence but you never get tired of it and you wish that it will last forever. He was your first love and hoping to be the last.

It’s been almost three months since your last encounter with Jeon Jungkook. You didn’t even wait if your resignation was approved or not and you didn’t return to his company nor your previous company. Of course your family finds it strange when you tell them that you resigned but you ended up saying the same reason you told Jungkook. ‘Better opportunity’. Who are you even fooling? And until now, your family didn’t know about you having a probationary period in a company of the Jeons. Not just them, but Namjoon also doesn’t have any idea that you’ve been there nor he has an idea about what you did with the younger Jeon. You already buried that horrible memory.

While you already buried your memories with Jungkook, he did the other side. Those memories were already tattooed in his mind. You might have forgotten it already but he decided to keep it in him. It might look like he has already given up but he’s just buying himself some time to get you again. You might be thinking that he already cut the connection between the both of you but that is something that he wouldn’t allow to happen.

He’s always with you. Wherever you go or whatever you’re doing, he knew. He found out where you live and where you’re working right now. What you’re doing during the weekends or your free time. He knew everything. He has someone to look up for you. They reported every detail about you. But sometimes when he’s free, he’s the one doing it. Just like right now that you’re with your boyfriend. He learned a lot about you and the only thing he dislikes is how you’re crazy about your boyfriend. Sometimes, he desires to kill him just to end your fantasies but he wasn’t like his father and grandfather. He doesn’t want to get his hands dirty just to get what he wants.

The one he called ‘looking up’ on you was supposed to be just a one time thing. He just wanted to check up on you because after the last scene in his office, he doesn’t have any news about you. But then, after that one time thing, he didn’t realize that he did it again. For the second, third, forth until he loses his count.

You were like a drug that he can’t seem to let go. Everytime he tries to stop, he feels like he’s losing his mind. He got so addicted that even the gods cannot help him already. A weekly view of you isn’t enough already. He wanted a dose of you in his daily life so he ended up hiring someone to get his dose. Of course he was aware that what he’s doing isn’t right and there is something wrong with him but then, the forbidden one is the most delicious. He wouldn’t admit it to himself.

He was tolerable not until he got so greedy that he wanted more of you. There is something that’s telling him to stop with his madness but it motivates him more to drive so crazy. Whatever he’s doing, no one knows. Even his father, grandfather or even his friends because he will not like whatever they are going to say.

He drives away when he sees you entering a new boutique. He’s enough for today because he doesn’t like what he’s seeing right now. He’s just going to see you again tomorrow maybe.

As he entered the entrance of their mansion, he heard the loud voice of his father in the living room. His father sounds so mad and it makes him wonder why. He saw his father with his grandfather along with some of their political party. They were discussing something and it looks like it didn't turn out well.

“That witch of a woman! She’s already getting on my nerves! Can you believe it? She managed to provide useless evidence that we stole the funds of the financial services commission?! And what? With the help of her stupid idiotic husband?!” His father’s voice was like thunder.

“Tae-soo, it would be better if we fabricate–

His father cut a man off. “How can you be this stupid, Lim?! It is an original copy! How can you fabricate it, huh?!”

After a moment, the sardonic laughter of his grandfather fills the room and everyone looks at him. “Oh look who’s talking.” His grandfather said sarcastically. “You called Lim a stupid well in fact, you’re also one.” He added. Tae-soo didn’t respond with his father’s remarks. His father stood up to face him.

“You’re the one to blame, son. You left your evidence.” He looked directly into his son’s eyes. A while ago, Tae-soo was ruling the night with his lighting and thunder. Now, he was like a puppy that got disciplined by his owner.

The grandfather broke his eye-contact from his son and turned away. “Do you know what you should do?” The grandfather asked Tae-soo while he’s waiting for his father’s continuation.

“You should teach her some lessons.” The grandfather looked at his son again. “Or better yet, get rid of Y/L/N Ye-jin.”

Jungkook didn’t anticipate what his grandfather said. His mouth was opened agape. He was suddenly filled with fear. He was used in his family’s action and he hates to admit it but it includes killing.

He never interfered with his family’s business and decisions even before. He is just used to listening to what they want him to do. He never questions them because he knows that he isn’t capable of doing such things. He was indoctrinated with their beliefs and it is to be always in power.

But now, you were involved with this mess and he wouldn't let it happen even if he goes against his own family.
