I wonder what the relationship would be between Scott Lang and Loki. What do you think about it?
I think they would get along pretty well. Scott is an intelligent, open-minded and kind person who would be friendly with Loki. And I think considering he is a good father, he would get angry on behalf of Loki about Odin’s treatment of him and would defend and sympathize with him. If you’re interested in Loki and Scott friendship, you can find memes and fics about them on @juliabohemian ‘s blog.

what is your muse’s love language?
WITHOUT A DOUBT,  Words of Affirmation are Loki’s love language. The “Silvertongue” is a person who relies on words to convey love, hate, meaning, meaning behind meaning, truth and lies. Everything  for Loki operates on the level of sophisticated verbal communication.
This is actually exactly why Loki is closer to Frigga than to Odin, and why Loki and Thor have a great deal of personal friction.  While Odin can be a wordsmith when he so chooses, and is certainly wily, and while any user of magic knows the literal and sacred power of words (the spoken precision of incanting and the choice/combo of runes, for instance), Odin still chooses decisive, often draconian, action. Frigga would rather take the diplomatic and psychological approach. It is from her that her son learned the power of words, and the fact that he is very good at using them.
Someone else once tackled this issue. I can’t remember if it was @juliabohemian or someone in their circle, but it was a masterful analysis of Thor and Loki’s difficulty communicating.  Both brothers are certain that they have communicated their intentions and their love, and they have, but in ways neither of the other sibling understands.  Thor acts and Loki speaks, and neither particularly values the other’s methods; to Loki actions can be brash and self-centered, to Thor words can be empty and cowardly.
Therefore in Avengers, when Thor tells Loki, “we all mourned you,” and the big funeral, a gesture, an action, is evidence enough. But Loki thinks, why can’t you just LISTEN to me, I wasn’t there for my funeral.  In TDW and Ragnarok, when Loki tells Thor “trust my rage” (on behalf of our dead mother) and “hey, I couldn’t come down here because I’d be caught by the Grandmaster and be unable to rescue you but hey soon we can kill the Grandmaster and co-regent this dump,” these words of explanation, with all their intricate double and triple meanings ( “I want to rescue you and for us to rule together, I love and admire you, evinced by my verbally bringing it up, duh!”) are evidence enough.  But Thor thinks, if you really cared, you’d commit the concrete action of sitting down here in the shit with me, even if it compromised your entire mission to thwart our common enemy.
Translated to the Love Languages discourse, Thor is the quality time and physical touch type, Loki is the words of affirmation and, occasionally, receiving gifts type (very attached, for instance, to his helm, and to items of power, to material signs of his importance).   Where they intersect is in acts of service, but the problem there is that their idea of what constitutes an act of service drastically varies.  Service is to put others before yourself. The way you do this depends on what you believe to be honorable conduct.  So they remain disconnected.

for the 40 Questions for Writers Meme: 4, 5, 10, and 29 please? thanks xx -kaleb
4. How many fic ideas are you nurturing right now? Care to share one of them?
If you mean collab fics, like 3478 ideas, but currently working on a 5+1. For my solo fics, like 2 main ideas. One of them is actually a sequel for The Guy In the Chair, with Ned and Peter preparing to go off to college and seeing how Ned’s life is changing with everything
5. Share one of your strengths.
I think I gotta say writing banter/humor. At least I get a kick out of it anyway :D
10. Which fic has been the easiest to write?
Ooh that’s an interesting question. Face God and Walk Backwards Into Hell sort of wrote itself—complete with the title—and I came out with the whole fic in one night (which, for me anyway, is wild)
29. If you could write the sequel (or prequel) to any fic out there not written by yourself, which would you choose?
Oh damn, this one is hard. Ummmm Idk I really like reading other authors’ fics because they’re not written by me, you know? Like they’ll come up with different things than I ever could, which makes reading them interesting.
But one fic I WISH I’d written? The Aunt May Situation by juliabohemian. It’s just a fricken’ hilarious, unexpected situation that totally matches my sense of humor (namely, that Loki and Scott Lang accidentally eat May’s pot cookies and Peter has to deal with the fallout)

Thor Past Judging Loki’s actions in Ragnarok.
Tumblr media
By the end of TDW, Thor did kinda past judging Loki, as he starts to value Loki’s ability/personality just by looking at his acknowledgment quotes: “Loki for all of his grave imbalance, understood rule as I know I never will”. In this quote, he for the first time probably really appreciate Loki.
But in Ragnarok, all of Thor’s actions and quotes only screams about his judgement to Loki and that when Loki’s actions disappointing him, he directly always blaming him and shading him with lines such as “maybe there’s still good in you” and “maybe you’re not so bad afterall”, because in truth, Loki’s right, that Thor truly thinks low of him.
The quotes “maybe good” and “maybe bad” are clearly very biased and judging quotes, as the person labeled the other person as such and said it directly in front of him. If the person think that he has the right to label the other person, this person regards himself as a better person, which is clearly the case with Thor who still unable to regards loki as the person with its own individuality and identity, and also unable to understand that loki doesn’t need to be forced to Thor’s term because they both different individual with the same rights to have their own perspectives without being devalued by the others.
As well as Thor’s quotes about “chaotic, savage, lawless” and “God of Mischief” speech, it filled with judging and biased perspective, and if thor was disappointed but really try to “past judging” it, shouldn’t he refrain from expressing his disappointment about how Loki falls short to his expectations and such in front of Loki himself? Because thor actually clearly know that Loki what would loki felt just by hearing those words from him and yet, Thor didn’t even care about it.
So, saying that Thor already “past judging” Loki is nothing but the biggest lie, as thor’s actions himself during the whole movie showing the opposite of it. Sure Thor loves his brother, but he’s not loving him unconditionally as Loki has to resign in Thor’s term so that their relationship could be “fixed”. In anything, TR made this fact whole “thor past judging loki” never clear and still endless. And the line Thor gave to Loki in IW actually even proving even further this notion.
I don’t understand how most twitter stans hold this shallow and very non-details perspectives regarding Thor’s actions to Loki in ragnarok, like majority of them, reaching around hundreds or thousands. They usually makes jokes from ragnarok, mainly about how “loki stabs thor so many times and that thor is seems to be a saint”, and it’s very repetitive. Not to mention that when Loki’s 10th anniversary poster is out and there’s words “more than a god of mischief”, then they posted it along with the picture of thor electrocuting loki and giving him speech (geez) and saying about “thank you thor for this”, and the post reaching one thousand likes. I actually find this quiet problematic when I was still amateur at MCU fandom at that time.
Well I think probably because Twitter are made up by the people who loves simple statement and memes, and they probably wouldn’t think too details and deeps regarding this, also like the surfaces that presented directly to them, and loves to retain such illusions.

Get to know you meme
Rule: Tag 10 followers you want to get to know better
I was tagged by @seidrade. Thanks!
Name: Phil (for fandom purposes)
Gender: Cis woman, more or less. I think maybe I would have identified as non-binary if I’d been born later, but as it is I take the path of least resistance.
Star Sign: Libra, but the “signs as” things never work for me. Gemini ascendant, which is better.
Height: 5’1”
Sexuality: het-leaning bi (Kinsey 2)
What images do you have set as your desktop/cellphone wallpaper? Computer desktop is random waterscapes that came with the computer; phone wallpaper is part of the view from the winery where I worked in spring-summer 2014
Have you ever had a crush on a teacher? Hahaha yeah. I had a really unhealthy crush on my undergraduate advisor (who was 44 when I was 20) and some less inappropriate crushes on grad student TAs and postdoctoral lecturers.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? A philosophy professor with tenure, God willing. Preferably in a place that doesn’t suck to live.
If you could be anywhere else right now, where would you be? Scotland would be fun. Or wine tasting in France or Germany.
What was your coolest Halloween costume? My second year of grad school I dressed as Immanuel Kant: I borrowed a long tailored coat from a classmate and wore it with a button-up shirt, black pants tucked up to be knee-breeches, white tights, and very 18th-century-style low-heeled black shoes. I didn’t have a wig, but I tied my hair in a low ponytail and people got the idea... especially when I tilted my head forward and looked serious like in the portrait on the cover of the Cambridge University Press editions.
What’s your favorite 90s show? “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”... but I didn’t watch it until a couple years ago. I wasn’t very culturally aware in the 90s.
Who was your last kiss? Uh... I guess the guy I slept with at Thanksgiving. The stepson of the brother of my parents’ college friend, which is why we were staying in the same place. We’re not actually related.
Have you ever been stood up? Not that I can recall.
Have you ever been to Las Vegas? Yes, for a friend’s birthday. It was terrible. I never want to go back.
Favorite pair of shoes: My slippers, probably.
Favorite fruit: Marionberry. Look them up, they’re amazing.
Favorite book: The Gay Science by Friedrich Nietzsche, of course. Fiction? Neil Gaiman’s Sandman series, if that counts.
Stupidest thing you’ve ever done: Um... had sex on the floor of the seminar room in my department? Incidentally, that was at the Halloween party where I wore the Immanuel Kant costume.
Tagging: @acebakes, @imaginetrilobites, @juliabohemian, @latent-thoughts, @lucianalight, @princess-ikol, @shine-of-asgard, @taranoire, @wouldyouknowmore, @yume-no-fantasy

Finally finished Coriolanus
(A few highlights, paraphrased by me)
Caius's mom: Damn my son is good at battling.
Caius's wife: Do we have to talk about this?
Caius's mom: Sorry. I can't hear you over the sound of how damn good my son is at battling.
Caius's wife: Because this is really difficult for me.
Caius's mom: I bet he is literally covered in blood right now.
Caius’s wife: Please stop.
Caius’s mom: He probably even has guts on him. Like, other people’s guts. Not his guts.
Caius's wife: Oh, Jesus Christ.
Caius: Hey, everyone. I'm, home. I just had a glorious battle. Damn I'm good at battling. I am literally covered in blood right now. And guts. But like, not my guts. Other people’s guts.
Caius's mom to Caius's wife: See? I told you.
Caius's mom to Caius: You're so good at battling. Maybe you should go into politics.
Caius: I don't see how those two things relate.
Caius's mom: Let me rephrase. You're going into politics.
Caius: I guess I'm going into politics.
(After Caius goes into politics)
Caius's mom: Dude, the people hate you.
Caius: Well, the people are stupid. Also, they wanted me to wear a nightgown.
Caius's mom: You know that thing you do where you say exactly what you’re thinking when you're out in public? You should stop doing that.
Caius: Isn't it enough for them that I'm super good at battling?
Caius's mom: Based on the torches and pitchforks...I'd have to say no.
Caius: It's almost like they want me to kiss their asses or something.
Caius's mom: I’m not sure you’re really grasping the spirit of politics.
Caius: Well I’m definitely not kissing anyone’s ass.
Caius's mom: Think of it as a challenge. Like, you know how you're really good at battling?
Caius: Yeah.
Caius's mom: Well, wouldn't it be fun if you were also good at politics?
Caius: No. No, it wouldn’t.
Caius's mom: I basically made you, you know. You wouldn't even be good at battling if it wasn't for me.
Caius: Weird flex, but okay.
Caius's mom: Seriously, go kiss some ass. Make Mommy proud.
Caius: I don't want to.
Caius's mom: Do it.
Caius: Fine, I will!
Caius's mom: Well, okay. I mean, if that's what you want.
Caius: I just said that it wasn't.
Caius's mom: Sorry, I can't hear you over the sound of me, telling everyone that my son is going into politics.
(Caius’s attempts to ingratiate himself upon the people are unsuccessful)
The People: Boo! You suck at politics.
Caius: In all fairness, I never said I didn't.
The People: We are banishing you from Rome!
Caius: Oh yeah, well, I banish you!
The People: Yeah...that's not how that works.
Caius's mom: Fuck everyone in Rome for banishing my son. Seriously, I hope you all lose your jobs!
