Other than the twins, I have Anna Pham and the other members of COD Aces- the Graves family. (2nd gen)

We have Jack, the eldest from Phillip's first marriage who was supposed to inherit the Shadow Company, Phillip Jr. who's the youngest born after his twin sister and is more soft, Graves' daughter Claire who would eventually become the lobbyist on behalf of SC and inherit her dad's manipulative tendencies, and finally,

Tommy. Formerly known as Sylas Graves, he eventually found out what his stepfather (whom he looked up to) did to his mom and became resentful, changing his name as soon as he turned 18. Joined the Marines but somehow ended up in the Shadow Company, and only stays to protect his brother Junior from his dad and from his older brother's insecurity about his position when Tommy is named heir.

The infighting of ACES comes to a head when Junior is captured by Konni and Anna disappears, with all siblings forced to work through their family bullshit to deal with the Zakhaev Twins and other threats that come their way.

I'm very impartial to Tommy. As for Anna's story, I'm always down to explain it, with most of it in my masterlist.

Ghosts Teachers AU

Fanny: Mathematics but does cover Mary if she needs to, or Robin (except Biology she will not TOUCH that)

Cap: History and German. Also knows french so he can help Pat.

Humphrey: Headteacher! Tag-teams Art with Alison, and History with Cap. Always does the Tudor periods history because Cap knows when his knowledge is outmatched. Would have made Robin the deputy head but the man is FAR too busy.

Annie: RE! Occasionally gets Mary to help out if she’s not busy.

Pat: PE! Always makes it fun for the kids and accommodates those who cant do as much very well. Since PE is always in the afternoons, his mornings are spent doing the other half of his teaching: French! Also helps Fanny with Maths if she needs it. Runs the scouts in the assembly hall with Humphrey’s permission (like he’d ever deny it)

Thomas: English. Everyone dreads his poetry unit. Also helps out at the library if they need covering. Once tried to help Mary with home studies and was almost headbutted out the room. It had become a schoolwide meme. Humphrey has it hung in his office.

Mary: Home studies! Food tech mostly but is fighting tooth and nail for more home ec stuff like sewing units. Fanny is backing her all the way. Some RE with Annie. Also does the local Sunday school.

Kitty: Is a TA. Currently drifting in and out of all of the lessons to find out where she wants to go. She is wondering about following Alisons footsteps and going into counselling or pastoral work, but she also likes biology and anatomy and is struggling with choosing which.

Robin: DT teacher. Chemistry, Physics and Biology Teacher. Everyone wonders how he does it but he will never share his secrets. (His secret is fanny helping him, and her secret is pat helping her) Is deffo the Fun teacher, is always blowing stuff up. Occasionally gets Julian or Mike to come in and ‘help’ with experiments. Has been trying to get an astronomy club going for years. (Also was working towards being a councellor but didnt complete the training because he struggled with the emotional baggage of it. Nobody knows this but Alison and Mary suspect.)

Alison: Is the Art teacher alongside Humphrey. Is wanting to take training to be a counsellor and work in the Pastoral unit. Her and Mike always have lunch together either in the staff room, the nurses office or her classroom.

Mike: Nurse :) the kids LOVE him. Like people ask who’s your favourite teacher and though a couple will say robin, most will say mike even tho hes not a teacher. (The teachers themselves are like yeah ok thats fair.) loves helping with robin’s experiments. Has come out of lunch more than once with paint on some part of him.

Julian: Not a teacher, but is the deputy head. does the schools budgets and accounts and is in charge of any promotional things. Gets a bit insane during exam times. Connected to the school board in some way. (Sort of wishes he was a teacher so the kids would like him more. Unbeknownst to him the kids do like him. He couldnt give a hoot about uniform regs unless its picture day or needed for promotional reasons, he and robin make a great team that endears him to all the kids and is cool with his experiments, and he swears. So. Obviously the kids love that.)

SO firstly lon chaney (and basically everyone else) did NOTT like rupert julian (director, sort of) but chaney and him absolutely hated each other and very quickly got to a point they wouldn't talk to each other and lon just wouldn't listen to him at all and basically rupert julian was a bad director and everyone knew it and also was just terrible to everyone. julian is the one credited but several other people also ended up directing the film, sometimes lon chaney himself

lon chaney and norman kerry also did not get along

during the unmasking scene julian wasn't happy with mary's performance and they eventually just decided to quit for the day but lon asked everyone else to stay for one more take and then proceeded to scare the hell out of her by yelling a bunch of really mean things at her and then raising his arm as if he was going to hit her before calling for the cameras to cut as they got the reaction they wanted and he did apologize to her after. theres conflicting info on how she felt about it but either way i feel bad for her i'm sorry mary :(

when the movie was first released it was and the responses were so bad they had to pull it from theaters and basically rewrote and reshot the whole thing. they released it again and it did even worse!! they rewrote and reshot the movie once again and then finally after many many reshoots it was a success and also very expensive!!!! it ended up costing like 11 million dollars in todays money to make ALSO somewhere in there we lost the og ending and i am never forgiving the test audiences for that ever #TheReplacementEndingSucks. also throughout this julian got fired and several others took over

after finally achieving success the decided to do it again in 1929 with sound!!! yay!!! lon chaney was not allowed to participate at all bc of mgm and universal wasnt allowed to have someone dub him either!!! so yeah they released it with sound but erik stayed silent and then the sound version caught on fire in the 40s and is lost now. all of the sound actually still exists though. theres a cool reconstruction of the sound vers on youtube using it (or whats publicly available of it)

coming up first we have the first Magnus to Alec letter. Listen this shit changed my life and was probably one of the highlights of my fall semester last year I’m not kidding it was that bad. Magnus and Alec made it better. that photo of them and the kids on vacation is my everything. Magnus calling Alec love. it’s everything. anyway we knew that was first

second we have the other Magnus to Alec letter. this one wasn’t hitting as much but it was still Magnus to Alec hence why it’s up at the top. it was still great. highlights include Magnus calling the kids m and r bc I think it’s cute, and Magnus calling Alec my love again. Also the entire last paragraph !

next is unobjectively the best sobh entry if we are not counting my extreme tmi gang bias. which is Livvy speaking to Julian!!!! I love the inflection the actress used and I think she encapsulated Livvy so so well and I LOVE IT. Kitty angst I am here for it. this was so gearing up for what the wicked powers will be. too bad it’s a decade away. anyway this entry slayed the house down!!!! ty needs kit.

next was a super fun surprise and def one of my favs : emma and Julian visiting the tmi gang in nyc!!! even tho it freaked me out because I am so scared of Janus I got to see my BEST FRIENDS jace clary and Alec <3 Simon and Isabelle could’ve been included but I’ll take what I can get. they ordered pizza my favs for that I love my tmi gang takeout food fiends. yeah this was sm fun

They're very silly cause the moon/sun religions are the physical embodiment of "Yeah we lost the point over the past thousand years" (think Christians saying Jesus loves everyone. except gay people. and people with tattoos. and-) so they're SOMEHOW against each other even though the original legend of the moon/sun spirit is that they were in love, it got turned into them being at war and everyone ran with it (there's a third kingdom but they're irrelevant and also have a lot going on rn) so Julian's like "Yeah I worship the moon :)" and Asmodei is like "KILL YOURSELF!!!!"

1, 2, 20, 22 for the tsc ask game

1. Fave tsc series: Definitely tda. I love kitty and kierarktina. I like Emma a lot in LM (less so in the others,) I like Julian in places. I think the plot of the first two books is cool. I've found a new appreciation for Livvy. I like Dru. I really love the Blackthirn family dynamic. Honestly I could go on.

2. Least favorite series: tmi definitely. There's just so much yikes about those books and I really am not the biggest fan of Jace. Granted the plot was actually pretty solid, but tmi just annoys me.

20: Character you relate to the most: Honestly a year ago I would have said Ty without a doubt. But now idk. I definitely still relate to him, but I also find myself really relating to Matthew, even though I dislike a lot of the way CC chose to write his character. As an alcoholic and as someone who struggles so deeply with emotional and personal relationships, I see a lot of myself in him. I also know a lot of ppl who have bpd in the fandom have brought up him potentially having it, and to me that makes sense. I'm also someone who has a lot of those traits even though I've never been formally diagnosed.

I also heavily relate to Kieran, my fellow enneagram four.

22. Popular character you dislike: *gets up on my dyke soapbox* I don't like Jace Herondale. Yes I am aware he is traumatizedTM and probably has cptsd. As someone who is also vv traumatized and has terrible coping mechanisms, I get it. I can sympathize. But I still don't like him. I really don't love the way so many people obsess over a character who, if he was a woman, would be getting so much hate and vitriol. And this shit is gendered, I'm sorry. The way society responds to disability and mental illness is very gendered and you can't ignore that.

Anyways, I have compassion and sympathy for men like Jace. But my compassion can only go so far when I need to be worrying about myself and other people of marginalized genders first. Not to mention how men like Jace (white, straight, cis) rarely seem have compassion and sympathy for me.

Also not to mention a lot of my problems with Jace aren't even disability related. Sometimes he's just a dick. And yeah I get it, growth and evolution, character development blah blah blah. I don't care, I still find him annoying. Not to mention how I have IssuesTM with the way that's handled as well as the trauma of other characters but thats a whole other thing.

I had to do something with a wacky stripe pattern, but it was very hard to make something cohesive for him. Also, his hair was the same dilemma (how do you smooth back curly hair???) so it ended up being just a little Jurassic Park Jeff Goldblum ish. I'm not even mad about it. 

ALSO please welcome to the stag ae very very Beta concept of BLINTER FUSION! If I thought I had hair problems with Bernack, Blinter was a WHOLE ORDEAL. Thats just what happens when you directly mix fire and ice (I kind of like that their hair ended up as a little rainbow) But this is young Blinter just after the millennium war. Baby girl. Baby boy.

MY BOY, MY ONE AND ONLY JULIAN. I decided a little bit ago that Killian is a smoker now. Not anything excessive or addictive, but just enough to get on Jacks nerves. Especially when their fused. And as previously stated, when your fused with your bitter ex, there's going to be a lot of emotional baggage to try and avoid unpacking.  Hence the smoking :) he’s a mess and I love him :)

It was— i went to a friend’s farm, and one of the baby cows wouldn’t stop sucking my hand. I thankfully wasn’t high among the cows. In my case, it was horses. A friend of mine, that I only knew from a club that I was in, had a farm where he kept horses. And one night he invited myself among many others to have a bonfire at his farm. I didn’t like him very much, but I went anyways. Someone had a cart and I took a hit not knowing it was weed. Then we walked through the field where the horses were sleeping, and I don’t know if it was me being high or the full moon, but I swore they were staring at me so I started running, which scared everyone else into running. It was still a fun night tho, even after I got pushed in the lake. Only in Ohio (not a meme, I inhabit Ohio. Ya know?

Also oh my god I’m thinking about Julian having a country/southern accent— he hides it most of the time so people will take him more seriously, but when he’s drunk or stressed or any type of inebriated, it comes out in full force and Gears has to try very hard to not make a fool of himself because WOW he sounds so pretty. God, Julian being a weirdo is my favorite fucking thing

About your Garak and interrogation and/or torture post-

ST did like, one episode that addressed it counter to popular culture in TNG's Chain of Command and then just went back to how every other show ever seems to show torture. The whole "clean" thing flies under the radar.

I'm blanking on the name, but there's a blog that analyzes how media portrays torture, which has lead me to learn a lot about what goes unseen. It had (at least) one post about Star Trek.

Yeah I haven't seen CoC so I can't say this for certain but from what I've heard about it, it also falls into the machismo trap with Macet? It does portray him as... not simply a monster, but i will bet there's mainstream trek fans that think he's cool. It's a common problem with how American media does villains and its notable that the only Cardassians that enact state violence who are not ultimately written like that are Marritza- a file secretary- and Garak- a gnc queer coded character (as an aside that also is inaccurate to how real world torture cells work, they tend to heavily emphasize masculinity in a very damaging way and Garak would not fit in there, to put it lightly. Personally I don't think Cardassians have what they would recognize and define as misogyny and that it's likely most Order operatives are female, because of the STEM thing and the comment about how men are considered emotional in a bad way, so i think the culture in cells is different). However to my understanding it's portrayal of how Picard is affected is better than average and it doesn't rely on high tech gadgets.

Heads up to anyone looking to research more: ST can only provide insight on human or very similar psychology. Cardassians have a big distinguishing factor because of how their memory functions that makes any advice they can give or discussion they've done in the past limited, because how Cardassians process trauma is going to be very different, and I'd argue even Julian isn't going to have a typical trauma response because he also has an eidetic memory thats just not a thing humans can do. I don't have advice on how to portray this either, I've been thinking on it and not come up with much, id be interested in discussion and brain picking. Also if you're going to research this, take care of yourself. Basically no one can read about this shit for an extended period of time and not feel gross or get upset.

alright, just wrapped on Vengeance. super fun book. Dafydd Ab Hugh really nailed the characterizations imo, and I enjoyed the characters introduced in the book itself. fantastic dialogue that read easily in everybody's voices, great internal dialogue throughout the multiple POVs- seriously I cant get over how well they were written all around. that, plus a fun and action-packed story with great setting, action, and tension made for a really fun and engaging read. also, it was funny as fuck. seriously. at multiple points I was genuinely crying with laughter

I think the characters who got it best were Julian and Worf. Julian got some really interesting and compelling character exploration, and it was fun to see him in situations where he wasn't entirely level-headed. I particularly enjoyed his constant banter with Miles, and just how mad he got and how petty he kept resorting to being. the flirting with Garak was also very good. I think my favourite was the dynamic we got between him and Jake- Julian was notably able to keep himself cool and collected when talking to Jake, and was sweeter and gentler with him than he was with anyone else, and I really loved that. the events of ...Nor the Battle to the Strong aren't far behind this novel, so it makes total sense that him and Jake have this going on. loved to see where Julian struggled and where he thrived, probably one of my favourite takes ive seen on the character

Worf, though. Worf got some fantastic character exploration. his bond with Miles was really explored and put to the forefront, and I loved that. I love how close they are. I love the trust they put in each other. Worf's connection to this raid- with Malach- was really well done imo. now, I think we could've gone without the Rodeo element, it ultimately didnt matter all that much, but I didnt feel it was a waste. Worf was in a position where he was compromised in every way, and it was interesting to see him work through that, and struggle with it, and ultimate stick to his values and come out on top

this book also puts a strong emphasis on just how smart Worf is, in more ways than one. Worf is incredibly strategic and battle-oriented, but he also relies on his Human upbringing and dry sense of humour to help save the day. he's also deeply philosophical, and reading that was incredibly compelling. this was such a respectful, loving take on Worf that didnt diminish his smarts in favour of presenting him as a brutal warrior. he's brutal and smart and thats what makes him deadly, and this novel perfectly captures that

seriously, great read! I will definitely be re-reading this. for now, though, im gonna be hunting down the other DS9 books written by Dafydd Ab Hugh and see which others compel me

jumping in for s2e4, its kind of weird that the three parter had the whole station evacuated, ends with everyone coming back, and then e4 immediately goes 'everyones evacuated' feels like perhaps this couldve been planned better. also the subtitles seem to have hanged styling now.

mares going to her next lesson, which appears to have something to do with reading. it is implied that either the books silvers read are in a different… language? writing? maybe coded? maybe the silvers use fancier alphabets.

she also sees a map of the “old land”. huh. interesting. pre war i assume.

mr. instructor shows up, asking if she knows were they are. after a bit of struggle she searches for the capital river and points at a place. she gets it right! i know shes better than me at spacial orientation for sure.

he tells her to point some other stuff she might recognize, and sounds a lot better than all the instructors mares had so far. he shows her where delphie and archeon are. i cant remember the former being mention but it probably was. idk.

the place he points reminds mare of the name she heard other people gave it. “The ruins”, “The Ash City, the Wreckage” as shade called it. also shade gets mentioned a lot and it is heavily implied he has ties to farley and the scarlet guard which i really hope is true. nothins sexier than a man who fights oppression.

oh hello, theres no cameras in the map room! she asks about it and he says a very cryptic “So there is a difference.”

ok so history teacher man is clearly in the know of things and its making mare really nervous so she repeats her rehearsed backstory- which makes sense, her identity is a really dangerous thing, if shes outted thatd probably put the royals in a tight spot. she could die!

also i really appreciate that he is very kind to mare. trying to tell her not to forget where she came from, gently explaining what he is here to do… its nice after all the shit she already has to put up with.

mares on the edge of a panic attack but mr history man is still patient. he tells her no ones gonna know. she Breathes with relief.

so the man is in it for the Knowledge. he wants to know how this all happened, how it is posible that shes got powers. also hold up i wanna point something out.

we are told repeatedly that mare is a red with silver power… but she never… explicitly bleeds. the only thing we get that implies shes not secretly an actual silver is the mentioned of her flushed red cheeks being covered in makeup earlier. would be funny if she was silver al along lmao.

mr history man reveals that there are no cameras because he can turn them off. cool. but like COOL. as in- i am a five year old looking at a teen do a an awesome skate trick. hell yeah, twinsies!

jacos gives an “inspirational” speech that is hollow and he clearly recited from the queen. he clearly disagrees. but why? weve seen cal doesnt agree with the way things are either. is there something to it we dont know yet?

well, he states that he disagrees with the idea that reds are inferior and should be treated as such, and maybe he really has that mindset and its not that hes been radicalized or something. but who knows?

he wants to prove mare that they are not different. because she is the living proof. i like this man a lot.

the queen makes up a lie about gas leaks and belittles colonel macanthos about minding her business, that her field is strictly the ground force. how making the guard seem competent only accomplishes their goal of terrorizing the whole kingdom. and then everyone clapped. literally.

mares feels lonely. she seems to miss cals company and like maven, even if she doenst trust him. shes thankful not to be left alone with him even though theres a high chance catholicism isnt actually real and it doenst make a lot of sense to keep them not alone because they might fuck. but ok.

shes suspicious maven hiding something. hm.

cut to mr jacos’ awesome lessons that brighten mares day. theyre trying make mare use her powers somehow. she suggests it only works when she feels threatened. jacos tells her its because shes like a child that hasnt learned how to control it and use it to her advantage which- no shit sherlock, thats very obvious.

confession time: mare barrow has a fucking death wish. should not be as surprising as it feels. she felt peace when she was about to die friend on the rich peoples’ electrical fence.

she uses this to her advantage and trues to feel complete calm to harness her lighting powery things. she does the thing!!

and by the thing i obviously mean using a lightning balm to pulverize a bookshelf. jacos is proud nonetheless. and thats all that really matters. mares making progress!

they look for different rooms to practice on, mr jacos records everything, mare gets better at her control. nice. she even gets shockproof clothes!

so something that struck mr jacos is that mare can create energy, something that is supposedly not possible, only manipulation of existing things is possible. which is weird because as mare points out, cal and maven can do it. they create fire.

oh wait nvm mr jacos says its because their bracelet thingies work like lighters or something. so yeah. mare was gifted with the power of creation. cool cool.

shes scared. scared of how different shes is not inly from reds but from silvers too. and god its is scary. it is scary being patient zero. so much that it overwhelms her and makes the sparks go off. but good thing our man mr jacos is there to help mare calm down. i love this dude.

she runs. runs from the… everything. yeah.

she runs outside and lets herself have a little main character moment in the rain let her have it. she thinks about how frustrating everything happening is how fast the things happen and wont stop happening. before the sentinels come. but wait! maven tells them off! yeah!

maven tries to joke and relate to her, but she just stops him. yeah. tell her how you feel about it, mare. its important to communicate.

he opens up about how little agency he has. hell, he cant even think what he wants in her moms presence, which- holy fuck i can feel that. that sucks ass too. and of course he always feels like cal is taking up all the glory too. he lives in his shadow.

uh okay. where to start. basically damon albarn (singer/keys/primary songwriter, the blond pretty one) and graham coxon (guitarist, brunet w/ glasses) met at school when they were 13 and 12 respectively when damon went up to graham and told him that his shoes were crap and damon's were better but they became friends cos damon had written a song with a saxophone part and graham played sax. so they were bffs throughout middle school/high school and had a shitty little band where damon sang and played keys and graham...did everything else (drums, guitar, sax, etc) and watched mike leigh films and were super obsessed with the who and quadrophenia and dreamt of becoming the next keith moon. then graham went to goldsmiths and damon went to school for acting. (here is an interview where they're being charming and discussing their childhood together.)

at goldsmiths graham met alex james (bassist, brunet w/o glasses) who was like instantly obsessed with graham because he was So Cool And Stylish And Talented And And And. while they were hanging out with damien hirst and gary hume and the rest of the soon-to-be YBAs damon dropped out of acting school after a year and moved to london to be take classes and be closer to graham and was pursuing his own musical project but eventually asked graham to be part of it and graham was like ya i know some guys (alex and dave rowntree, drummer, ginger) so they started a band which was called seymour.

(damon and alex have a weird relationship because they're both obsessed with graham and possessive of him/their respective relationships with him. so there's like a weird jealous love triangle situation alongside this tragic childhood friends to lovers to estranged enemies reunion narrative. graham was jealous of alex’s sex appeal/confidence and damon’s ambition so it was this appalling web of envy and projecting one’s insecurities onto those closest to oneself. i sincerely think that blur’s only managed to work together for as long as they have because damon, alex and dave are all in love with graham, platonically or otherwise.) (fwiw i think graham and dave also have a very close friendship that often gets overlooked but it's quite sweet and also essential to the group i think. see the second quote.)

in 1995 blur had their battle of britpop rivalry with oasis and graham tried to kill himself at the party celebrating country house getting to the #1 spot on the charts (thus “beating” oasis) but damon talked him out of it somehow. they exchanged letters in which graham said that he wanted to make music that scared people and then they made their self-titled record which was distinctly more american-sounding as that was graham’s preference and damon relinquished creative control slightly (as a result of graham’s suicide attempt? who’s to say!).

then in 1998 damon broke up with justine frischmann whom he had been very publicly dating since 1991ish and they started recording their album 13 and damon moved in with jamie hewlett who graham had introduced him to years before (cos jamie had also just broken up with his gf, jane oliver, who had dated graham before jamie and used to be in justine's band elastica—“see how close everything is?”) and the two of them started working on creating gorillaz. 13 is considered blur’s definitive breakup album cos it’s about damon and justine’s breakup but it’s also about damon and graham’s relationship deteriorating and kind of the impending breakup of blur itself. saying goodbye to that era of one’s life etc.

then when blur started working on think tank damon decided they had to kick graham out of the band cos his alcoholism was basically totally debilitating. so damon had their manager go tell graham he couldn't be in the band anymore. think tank gets released and the final song, battery in your leg, is very obviously about graham and also the only track to feature his guitar playing. another song on the record (sweet song) damon says he wrote while looking at a framed photograph of graham in his studio. so graham’s absence on the record becomes its own kind of presence ooOOoooooo!!.

so from 2002ish until 2008 graham and damon didn't talk (except for alex's wedding in 2003) but damon would like secretly attend graham's solo shows and graham would troll online forums about blur and gorillaz and they would say all these awful heartbreaking things in interviews about their broken relationship blah blah. ("maybe we liked each other too much, you know. or maybe we were too close.") (also this unbelievably un-subtle song by graham called ‘bottom bunk’. but let’s not get too tinfoil hat-y here.)

then in 2008 damon and graham made up over a shared cookie on damon’s front stoop and blur did a few reunion shows for the olympics and whatnot. then graham decided he wanted to make an album out of the like 50 hours of random jams they had done while grounded in hong kong during an asian tour in like 2012/13 because he wanted to apologize for fucking up and prove to damon that they could work together again. so they released the magic whip in 2015 which has my terracotta heart on it and graham said all this bonkers insane shit about feeling like pattie harrison for having a love song written about him. also this??

so now they're all besties again and graham and damon are doing their own solo projects and alex has a cheese farm (flop) and dave is, as ever, just chillin. also graham got divorced in the past year or so and damon continues to act like an absolute nut at gorillaz shows so they're still going thru it like as people but at least they're pals once more. kind of anyway.

there are a lot of interviews where they talk about making out/"getting off" with each other and videos of them kissing each other onstage/backstage. etcetera.

i think one of the only writers to really Get blur/their dynamic is miranda sawyer who wrote an incredible article about them in 1999 that gets at the heart of what makes them so compelling.

THE POINT OF ALL THIS is that sometimes you have a childhood best friend who becomes such an essential part of both how you personally see yourself in the world and how the world sees you and your success but as much as you are bound together there are fundamental elements of your personalities that are diametrically opposed and you can't keep living the life you've made together without one of you completely crashing and burning so you have to leave each other even though all you've ever known is this thing you've been building together. and sometimes after many years you are able to reconcile with one another to the extent that you can reconcile the existence of a single person whose life is so inextricably entwined with your own and who knows you better than anyone and who still loves you anyway despite how much you've fucked up. and you're both boys

Their initial relationship with Belpie is pretty stiff and even cold at times but they do eventually warm up to each other and (I imagine a long time passes between lesson 18 and lesson 19) by the time they're leaving in S1 they care about him as much as they do the other brothers. But they're 100% okay with using the fact that he killed them against him.

Eg: if they desperately want his help with something but he's refusing: Remember  :) that :) time :) you :) killed :) me :)

1. Len (yes named after the Lenovo laptop that was in front of me) She's 32 in contrast to Eliza's 23 going on 24 (in om s1), and 5'11 vs Eliza's 5'10, she/her & they/them pronouns vs Eliza's they/them

2. My art sucks but this picrew's an accurate description of her - here

3. With Julian 100%. Eliza's not really the marrying and having children type (they would make an exception to marry Mammon, specially if it meant they could officially be a part of the family and didn't have to leave the Devildom) BUT Len definitely wants to marry Julian and have biological kids together. Though I also really like them with Lucio in his Reverse Ending. Just Devil! MC is something else

4. Facts okay:

a.) Look look look, I feel like it's heavily hinted throughout The Arcana that there's a possibility that Melchoir is also The Apprentice's familiar. So yeah in routes where they don't end up with Lucio/where Lucio isn't um...a fully functioning human being? they end up adopting his dogs

b.) *Looks at Julian's route* Yeah, she's a sadist there's no getting around that one. This is something she finds out when she sees Julian bleeding out and presses her hand to his wound. Pre-death Len never made this discovery

c.) With only 3 years of memories, where she spent all her time in the same neighbourhood she longs more than anything to leave and explore the world

d.) While pre-death Len was working with Julian they did flirt and have tension between them, though a lot of it could have been from: we're both in love with Asra but he's left us and now we're stuck in a terrible situation, we might contract the plague and die any day now and we have only each other to depend on. And though they did have some close calls this tension never went anywhere

e.) Before meeting Julian post-death Len was into Asra but was continuously bitter that he kept travelling and leaving them behind. She's never able to tell whether this love is just some lingering shade from a time she can't remember or whether it's love because he's her only connection to a life outside Vesuvia. Either way their (romantic) love for Asra was always somewhat passive? It wasn't something active - that kept happening and bubbling over like with Julian and they eventually let  go of it during the library scene in Julian's route, when Asra distracts Nadia. Their platonic love for him still holds strong

5. I don't have a lot of information (backstory) about them though cause I really do use a lot of the snippets OM gave us to make Eliza's backstory but The Arcana doesn't have as many little details so I'm justifying it by saying that pre-death & post-death MC are very different people cause your experiences and environment do contribute a lot to your overall personality. So yeah
