Why only one when I can have both?

I know, I know... Yellow face. Still, Dr. NO is my first Bond Villain and has a special place in my heart. At least the makeup is not as bad as Sean Connery's japanese face in You only live twice.

But the movie gave me bad dreams. Not about Dr. No's face, nor the tarantula - but the hands, clinching at the metal latter inside the radioactive pool.

And yes; Dr. Safin gives a lot of Dr. No vibes. The Lair, the style, his clothes..

With all the asian touch the make up department was wise enough not to give the actor a asian look - but went with a classic scar farce. To avoid the yellow facing?

We will never know. But this movie gave me not so bad dreams 😂
