This comic has a happy ending! A few weeks after I penciled this in, Oregon passed a law allowing self-service at gas stations, so we don't have to sit and wait for attendants anymore. It's been a grievance in the few years we've lived in Oregon, so we're stoked. What a little thing to get stoked over 😆
