Were it not inappropriate, Jihyun would've laughed. Cutthroat honesty was tailored into Jumin Han's chemistry; whilst his compliments were heartfelt, his less pleasing words would poke holes even in the most held-strong of individuals. Jihyun hadn't expected this to be dealt with any differently, but Jumin's ability to be read was amusing, he thought.

“... I wish I could tell you,” and he does — every word aches, every explanation rattles his ribs. “But... she's safe. Luciel is keeping a watchful eye on her.”

Palms cradle his cane. Jihyun embraced secrecy, cloaked himself within its warmth, but now it was a white grip around his throat, a bruising hold around his waist. Rika's secrets were coveted ones, as were their clients... if their safety required his lips be sewn shut until he, too, is welcomed into the sunlight... then, this pain was to be dealt. But oh, how Jihyun yearned for the opposite, particularly when faced with a fortified man turned rubble; it wasn't like Jumin Han to showcase the emotions he had recently.

It wasn't like V to discard them.

“Rika had many secrets,” he trailed a finger along a splintering path, eyes slid shut. “I... was given many precautions to take, should these issues arise. I... I know I haven't reserved the right, I know I don't deserve it, but please... trust me. I would never let any harm come to RFA, or its members. MC... she means a great deal to all of us.”

It was a shift of the conversation, and Jihyun knew. It was a cowardly tactic, but one he must employ. Jumin can't ask questions; Jihyun can't answer. Jumin made silences comfortable, as lively as a room full of music and dancing... but this silence, Jihyun feared, neither could recover from.

“She's changed you, too. I'm glad. The Jumin Han I knew barely logged onto the messenger at all. Luciel entertained once making a counter of how many times you had visited.”

Fast walking seemed to

be a trend today as he made his way out of his building, nearly trowing his things in the car as he got in wordlessly. It was clear he was angry so the driver did not interact, simply doing their job and driving him home.

Ding!

His phone went off...

If it wasn't clear by his entrance, the slammed car door upon his exit was proof enough that he was livid.

Ding!

The amount of time he took between car and house was remarkable in speed, and in hindsight he wished he were that fast all the time.

Ding!

Ding!

Entering the house in a rush he slammed the door, kicking his shoes off, throwing his stuff down, and nearly ripping off his jacket as he pulled it off and threw it on the hook.

Ding!

He agressively pulled his phone from his pocket, he was not in the mood.

Ding!

Watching the screen light up he could have sworn he'd have an aneurysm.

"Mew..!" His head snapped to look at the feline standing near him

"What?!" He gave agitated, though immediately drew back from it.

She was just... Being a cat... She didn't deserve his wrath. The panicked expression on the persian's face pulled his mood a completely different way.

"Oh, Elizabeth..." He gave softly. His whole aura seemed to change as he realised just how irrational he was being. He didn't quite know how to approach the situation as the cat had run off.

Now he felt bad.

Fantastic.

Ding!

For a second his anger returned and he tossed his phone to the floor with his shoes. As it clattered on the ground he had left the entry area, he should... Find his cat...

"Hey pretty lady..." He called softly

"Elizabeth..." He tried again, walking from room to room. He finally stopped in his own room, dropping to the floor at the foot of the bed, slate grey irises bouncing around as he examined the dark under the bed.

They met a blue pair.

"Elizabeth..." He breathed.

"I'm sorry." he sighed as if the feline understood him. Something in him knew she didn't, she only reacted to his tone, he could only hope a softer one was more approachable.

It took a long period of time, and Jumin had almost given up, closing his eyes, just laying there, but the cat started to slowly creep forward from her hiding place.

He'd have a red mark from the cold tile imprinted on his cheek a while, though at this point he didn't much care.

He nearly jumped out of his skin feeling a light touch to one of his eyelids. Opening his eyes he found he was nose to nose with his beloved cat. He had startled her, just as she had him, but she didn't run this time.

God, she probably thought he was dying, or sonething., Laying on the floor.

Slowly he brought his hand from where it rest to sit in front of the cat's face in an attempt to gain her attention. It worked as she sniffed it a few times before ramming he head into his palm. He couldn't help but smile, holding back a laugh. He could not stand how adorable she was at times.

The cat was his main priority as he gently pet her soft white fur.

"I'm sorry I yelled." He said softly to the dainty feline, who meowed in response. Jumin liked to think of it as an answer to what he had said. Shifting a bit slowly he had moved his free arm to rest under his head, elbow against the hard floor holding his head up. His normally cold eyes locked on his cat with a newfound warmness. He was always captivated by her presence.

"Hi, pretty lady..." He mused quietly, petting the cat, who clearly enjoyed the attention. Though it was clear she had forgiven him, the director still felt extremely bad about it. Maybe it was just because... It was his cat. Who knows.

Not him.

All he knows is he still feels pretty bad about scaring the shit out of his cat.

The past is the past one would guess... But anyone who knows Jumin well knows he definitely doesn't let go of the past despite the facade he puts up. He was constantly questioning his previous actions. Now was no different.

Sure he was angry, but why had he yelled at Elizabeth like that? She definitely was not who he was angry at. He had also questioned why there was even such a break in his cool exterior. What was happening lately? He was just a mess.

Mindlessly he had stopped petting Elizabeth, and in typical cat fashion she made sure to let him know she was still there by headbutting his hand. He came back to reality and started petting her once again. The sound of her purring was mildly comforting. In fact, that's about all he could hear, and part of him was thankful. The annoying repetitive sound of his phone had only seemed to further fuel his anger, like kindling to a flame. It was not the cause, but certainly incouraged it.

Exhaling a soft breath, Jumin focused his gaze to his cat once more, watching her Bob about ad he gently pet her was certainly amusing, though his mind was clearly else where.

Space cadet Jumin, come back to Earth! Back to Korea, even!

In an attempt to bring himself back into reality he changed his approach to petting her. He went from shprt Stokes on just her head to long ones that trailed down her back. Maybe he could switch his focus to just be on her.

All he could see was the fearful expression she had earlier and it was unsettling. In a single movement he had looped his arm around her, pulling her close and placing a gentle kiss on her head. He was sad.

As cats do she attempted to wriggle free, giving a soft meow, yet soon gave up, producing a long sigh as she gave in, laying down and relaxing against his arm.

She was soon purring, and for some reason. He felt he could almost cry. He refused to, but his eye still glossed over a bit. He brought his other arm around wrap around her too, his head now resting against the cool tile floor. He tried to just focus on her soft purri g as he did not like his current thoughts.

The sound of his familiar ringtone pierced the air. He debated retreving his phone. He decided against it, though did wonder who in the world was calling at this hour. It... Was after working hours, that's for sure, and seeing as he's been working late recently. He had no idea who it was. Sure, at times he called his friends at odd hours, but those were... /His friends./ Never a business official . I mean, hell, it was dark out. Ignoring it, he tried to focus on his cat again. she had stopped purring. It was clear the also had heard his phone on the other end of the house, and was confused as to why he hadn't reteved it yet. Jumin gave a sigh. Was there never truly any rest?

Do you have any tips on getting characterization right?

Practice, practice, practice. I know that's not the magic answer most people want to hear, but it's true. You need to keep writing every day to get better at grasping the characters you want to be! You need to play the game and screenshot how they respond to things, note little instances where they have quirks that might not be obvious but look important, and write down what feels right.

For example, Jumin. He has a GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR! But, it's a subtle sense of humor that kicks in during conversation when you're not expecting it. The misconception about Jumin is that he's dry and unfeeling, when in reality, he's filled with every emotion you can even imagine but the way he shows it isn't the same as someone like Zen! He's witty, insightful, and loves debating. He likes to push buttons or tease with the best of them.

Look for instances when he does that and BOOM, you're onto a better grasp of Jumin Han as a person. It's not just his humor, there's a lot more to learn! But you start with something and build from that point.

To learn more about a character, you need to get to know them as a person and study how they respond to things! What do they do when they're happy? Sad? Angry? Jealous? If you can learn how characters act and react, you can get a better idea of how to write them and feel like you're onto something canon!

Don't aim for "this is the only way to write them" when you're trying to work on characterization. Aim for what feels right as you continue to learn more about them as people. There's no perfect way to play the character you're writing, but if you go with what you've learned after studying them and follow that gut feeling, you get somewhere!

Honestly, outside of analyzing the character and studying who they are within the media you are trying to work with, roleplay can definitely make you work on your toes. That is actually my favorite part about roleplay, you are constantly bouncing off ideas with another person, and since you don't know what they're going to do next, it helps you think on your feet and better understand the character that you're working with as you try to figure out how to adapt.

It was strange, talking to someone she barely knew over the phone. The Archivist was incredibly isolated and so Chamyle Raydeo was too. Having contact with anyone, let alone a method of contact anyone could access. At least Jumin wasn't calling about anything serious; she could only assume he just wanted more information on her.

"Indeed; though people tend do tend be focused more on their stresses. They'll forget to take in world around them." As she speaks, she finally stops pacing, stopping at the window. She can't help falling quiet for a moment when asked about Silversoft. "He's my own feline companion, correct; I adopted him about seven years ago. I'll have to show you all a picture sometime, once I'm able to acquire a more recent one than the ones I have on-hand."

Another small pause. "He's at home, right now- with a caretaker and my daughter- so I can't quite obtain one on my own."

“D-Don't go after Elly,” Seven texts, well aware Jumin can likely hear his voice now, even amidst a line of text. “She's... she's innocent in this! She-she didn't know who I worked for, or worse... what I've done...! My-my sinner lips are sealed!”

Tears gather in his eyes, his wrists ache from binds that aren't there, and his head pounds from the thrill, no, no, the fear of it all! Seven lets the silence trek onward, lets it soak into the chatroom (aaaahh, how messy, a flooded chatroom is worse than a flooded keyboard!), and he takes a deep, deep breath in, preparing for the ringtone that will surely spell either life... or death.

which one of your muses has the most ships?

I am going to assume you're asking about ships I have partook in. I do not really involve myself in the fandoms I roleplay (like forums, twitter, reading fanfictions or watching videos), so I wouldn't know what people outside of my own sphere of involvement ship. Anyways with this premise...

I believe Sephiroth is the one I have written the most ships with. Which is not a lot, if you can believe it? Most of my RP partners haven't gotten to ship with me because of how slow I am in my approach to chemistry building.

With Sephiroth I have at least two ships established, which is my highest record for a single muse so far. I know, not a lot. Told you I'm Mr. Slow Burn!
