Last Line Challenge
I was blown away that @moogleterra tagged me for this!
Rules - In a new post, show the last line you wrote (or drew) and tag as many people as there are words (or however many as you like.)
Here's a recent line for the Sabin fanfic I've been working on:
Bracing himself for the attack, his eyes met hers and silently begged for a flicker of recognition or humanity.
Titillating! Who is attacking Sabin? Why don't they seem to recognize him? What happens if the attack lands? Will this line survive my next round of brutal edits? Are my edits actually brutal? Can one claim to use brutal edits if the story has ballooned into this many words and chapters?
Only by the grace of the Triad will we get answers!
I'm going to tag some people who have written FF6 fanfics that I really loved. This is more of a, Hey, you have no idea who I am but I loved that FF6 story you wrote and I have written (or will write) a post about the specific story and what I loved about it!, and less of a, Hey, I'm a total stranger who is roping you into something you may not want to participate in and if you don't block me I'll spam you constantly with things!
Also, in tracking down some of these Tumblr accounts, I'm pleased to see that literally everyone in this list seems to be genuinely awesome, FF6 fandom aside.
Tagging: @azurefishnets, @white-aster, @chacusha, @corpsebrigadier, @flunnebunne (who I just learned is also a Slayers fan and now I risk going down another obsessive fandom rabbit hole), @frozen-fountain, @ladylaguna, @siverwrites, @laughingpinecone, @artandsomethingcreated, and @wsancho (who hasn't written anything as far as I'm aware but probably could and should)
