Hey there! I was just wondering has there ever been an Axel-Lutz combo? Ik that the axel lands on a different leg from that which the lutz takes off but I was just kinda curious to see if anyone got maybe got around that somehow

No one has ever done this particular combination, as far as I know. There are two ways it could be done - either the skater purposefully lands on the wrong foot after the axel in order to do the lutz, or the skater lands the axel normally, then performs the lutz while spinning in the opposite direction.

Some similar, but not exactly the same, combinations include:

Artur Dmitriev Jr: 3Lz+3F. He lands the 3Lz on the inside edge of his left foot instead of the outside edge of his right foot, then performs the 3F.

Sonja Hilmer: 3S+2S. She performs the 3S counterclockwise, lands on the outside edge of her right foot, switches to the inside edge, then performs the 2S clockwise. (She has landed this in competition, but unfortunately I can’t find any other videos of it.)
