Full Moon ritual post

Hey everyone! We’ve got a special treat today. Today is a full moon with a lunar eclipse. Now unfortunately those of us in the Northern Hemisphere won’t get to see it but there’s still plenty of power to be gotten from this months moon rituals.

JUNE FULL MOON 2020

For millennia, people across Europe, as well as Native American tribes, named the months after features they associated with the Northern Hemisphere seasons, and many of these names are very similar or identical.

June’s Strawberry moon is linked to the ripening of wild strawberries. Other common names include Rose Moon and Mead Moon,as roses bloom around the same time . In Anglo-Saxon cultures, June was the time to begin harvesting the Meadows to make Mead.

THINGS TO DO DURING ANY FULL MOON

Regardless of the time of year, Full Moon rituals are a big part of our magic. Used as a time for cleansing and charging our tools, our space and ourselves. Take the time to self-care, meditate and release any negative energy clinging to you.

Some spells and rituals that are beneficial during this time are banishing negative energy or people from your life, encouraging abundance and creating moon water for other spell-work.

Cleansing and Grounding

The best start to any ritual or spell is to cleanse. Start with your sacred space. Saging your home and your altar. Take the time to do some cleaning and decorate the space around you. Since we are in June, flower are blooming and help bring bright positivity into your home. Put roses on your altar to honor June’s Rose Moon.

If you haven’t already started to decorate for Litha, now is a great time.(If you haven’t already seen my post on Litha, Check it out here.) Open your windows and doors if you can, use the breeze to clear out negative energies.

Basic Space Cleansing Ritual

If you are using Sage or Palo Santo or a cleansing spray, you’ll need to grab that first. Open your front door or one window in your home. Starting from one end of your home, spray or smudge each room, driving it towards the open entry. You can chant, sing or whatever method you choose to use. I’ve heard of people using bells or a pot and spoon, using the sound to drive any bad energy out. Once you have cleared every room then the next step is to clear yourself.

Self Care-Cleansing during a Full Moon

Full Moons are a good time to focus on yourself if you haven’t had a chance to recently. Eat your favorite treat, have a ice cold drink, dress in your favorite outfit, whatever’s your jive.

Normally if you are going to do any spell-work, cleansing yourself with a salt bath before hand is a good way to clear your mind and body at the same time.

Make sure to smudge yourself and your house members(furry or otherwise, just make sure they don’t breathe it in) as well. That ensures everything is cleansed and grounded.

Full Moon Ritual

Items Needed: Pen Paper Candle Matches/Lighter 2 Bowls( metallic or ceramic preferably) Water

Sitting in your sacred space or altar area, cast a magic circle.(check out Grove and Grotto for a great beginner tutorial)

Clear your mind and ground yourself. Envision a white light filling you from head to toe, casting out any negative energy.

Light your candle and place the two bowls before you( fill one with warm water)

On your paper, write down every single thing you want to release from your life, bad habits anxiety, lack of self confidence, whatever. Read each item aloud and recite ” I now release this, And it is so.( or So Mote it Be)” after each item.

Light the corner of the paper with the candle and drop it into the empty bowl. Watch the smoke and envision all of your negatives lifting away with the smoke of the candle.

Holding your hands over the bowl of water, envision and charge it with positive light and energy. Think of a positive to replace the negatives you’ve released. Place your hands in the water to signify all you are releasing and “cleansing” yourself from.

Remove your hands from the water and quietly meditate for 2-3 minutes. Contemplate how you feel, go over your creations ad accomplishments so far, scry the candle flame etc.

Release the circle, dispose of the paper ashes and follow through on any other full moon activities you have planned. (journaling, charging crystals and making moon water are great ideas)

Moon Water

Take a jar with clean water(a lot of witches use spring water or filtered water)

While holding the jar, infuse it with your intentions.( Full Moon is good for:Lunar blessings, charging tools and powering spells)

Set outside after Moon-rise and leave out overnight. ( if you can’t set it outside, a window with the most amount of moonlight is just as good)

Gather as early as possible in the morning( Solar energy is a different effect and can cancel out the moon energies)

Use for spell jars, cleansing or potions.

FULL MOON CRYSTALS

The Full Moon is also the best time to cleanse and recharge your crystals, tarot cards or other tools. Simply place outside in a bowl( if its going to rain, cover said bowl with saran wrap or a clear lid) and let charge overnight. Redistribute any protection crystals for your home and put back on any protective jewelry or amulets. Super Simple!

Labradorite- Intuition, Astral Travel,Psychic Abilities.

Gold Stone- Creativity, Dream Work,Abundance, Removing Blockages.

Selenite- Cleansing the Aura, Mental Clarity, Psychic Abilities.

So that’s the basic run down of some cool things you can do during the Full Moon. Once you get the hang of it, it becomes second nature. You will actually find it’s a nice break to help recenter yourself especially if you’ve had a hectic month.

Key Transits Affecting Bitcoin

Today's Date: February 2nd, 2023

Disclaimer: Don't take this post as financial advice and don't do as I do. You may lose money.

Update: We're seeing Bitcoin's optimistic-looking January 26th return chart, continue to manifest as the price went slightly higher today. The price broke to a daily high of.

$24,250 (as of this post).

So as of now new daily highs indicate that we are in an uptrend: Uptrend 📈

Today's Key Aspect ( Thu. Feb. 2nd ): Mercury sextiles Bitcoin's Uranus (lasts 1 day) - positive volatility creates opportunities for trade.

To look forward to next is the Feb. 5th Full moon in Leo landing in Bitcoin's 2nd house. 2nd house represents finances & value. Full moon's represent culmination or results. So I'm looking forward to that date.

Anyway, back to the topic of this post...

The key transit affecting Bitcoin right now

( key 🗝 ) Jupiter conjunct Bitcoins Moon

Jupiter first entered the conjunction on April 21st, 2022. It showed an opportunity to invest in btc. And led to what are (so far) the bear market lows of November 2022. Because the transit continues to this date.

Conjunction meaning: Astrologically this transit marked a good time to invest into Bitcoin. Moon is investments, growth & things we hold on to. Jupiter is Fortune.

Note: Bitcoin's natal moon is square to its sun, so the best opportunities to invest are precisely NOT when it's getting the most spotlight and attention.

The Jupiter conjunct BTC moon transit will exit on March 1st, 2023 (Jupiter will be at 12⁰ aries).

So in the meantime, I'm considering ~$23,000 and below to be good prices to buy at, in the short term. And definitely in the long-term.

( approaching 🗝) Jupiter Square to bitcoin Sun.

Soon after the conjunction with Bitcoin's natal moon ends, Jupiter enters an exact square with Bitcoin's sun on March 8th, 2023.

April 10th of 2023, the Jupiter square Sun aspect weakens. By April 19th, it is fully over with.

This could mean one of two things. Bitcoin performs negatively between these dates.

or it performs very well, and it's just no longer a positive time to invest or speculate on it. Because of increased attention and performance.

Jupiter is fortune, and the Sun represents attention and how something is seen. In any case, by march we will be able to see which scenario is playing out.

And jupiter seems to say to not be hasty when it's in this square. It's interesting to note that the best price periods to buy bitcoin during the Jupiter and btc-moon conjunction were when Jupiter was also square to BTC's sun.

We'll have to formally examine the chart of the exact moment Jupiter squares bitcoin's sun, at some point.

Bitcoin will be having a Lunar Return, the day Jupiter fully exits the Square (April 18th, 2023)! So those energies will coincide. It will be interesting how the energy pivots after this date, compared to when Jupiter is entering the btc-sun square (as of this post).

March 9th there is a (Blue Hybrid Eclipse) New Moon in Aries ♈. Yet another event coinciding with the Jupiter square! Essentially, whatever ends up happening this month, expect the energy to shift at the start of March. So far we're bullish.

Saturn conjunct to bitcoins natal Venus Dec. 29th, '22 - Feb 15th, '24. Conjunction is Exact on March 9th. The Saturn in Aquarius expression of the conjunction may play out differently, than Saturn in Pisces expression. And it's coinciding with the transiting Jupiter square Bitcoin Sun Aspect

2. Saturn enters Pisces on the Full Moon in Virgo, March 7th. Which is conjunct to Bitcoin's Saturn & Part of Fortune within 5⁰.

3. North Node Square to Bitcoins North Node (Fundamental)

4. Taurus Uranus Trine to BTC sun. Exact: April 11th, 2022. Started May 2020 - Weakens June 25th, 2023
