Limping Seven Days a Week

A quick Drabble inspired by a very unexpected side of Jungkook.

This is part of an entire Drabble series based on his recent music release. It is rather mortifying how many fics I came up with just in relation to his new song. I had to exorcise the demons out of my head that were inspired by the explicit version. Hope you guys enjoy!

Disclaimer: As usual, everything in the fic is fictional, and the behavior displayed by the character in the fic is obviously not representative of the real Jungkook.

FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! Shit, where the fuck am I?

I couldn't recognize this room, it definitely wasn't mine. Only a sheet was on my body. I peeked down to see what was underneath the blanket, and I was met with the grim appearance of my boobs. When the hell did I strip?! In consternation, I looked to my right and saw a veiny arm that encircled my waist.

That is when all the memories slammed back into my head. That doe-eyed boy who wore glasses had asked me for help walking up to his room since he had recently sprained his ankle.

He was the same guy that stared at me 5 out of 7 days of the week that we had classes together. His name was Jungkook and we both had the same professor for Economics classes. I had never really noticed him as I myself am pretty much invisible, a true observer. Most people call me quiet, I consider myself an observer of human behavior, a true analyst on the sidelines. The regency might bestow upon me the title of Wallflower, and I would gladly accept the position.

I don’t really have a palpable presence except for when I am with extremely close friends.

With my friends all bets were off, I could be a freak. But with mostly everyone that I considered to be a stranger I don’t tend to interact. I had behaved the same way with this boy who kept staring at me with an unwavering gaze, a seemingly dreamy emotion glazing his eyes . He was cute and so I had thought on multiple occasion--- when I could feel his black eyes burning into my back-- that he could probably have any girl he wanted. The only thing stopping him were his shy mannerisms, and introverted nature. So why was he staring at me?

I’m a realistic person. I am not particularly remarkable. I could be when I put in effort, but most days I just wore black Calvin sweats that I’d snatched on a sale and a long sleeve black crop top which showed a tiny sliver of skin if any.

Not exactly a fashion icon over here if you catch my drift.

Zooming back to the present situation at hand, I saw his veiny arm making its way towards my right boob. I had noticed on prior occasions that he clearly had a fixation on them. To my utter consternation, he squeezed my breast even now. His face that had buried into the hollow between my neck and shoulder suddenly moved.

I pretended to still be asleep, this was so freaking awkward. Definitely went down as one of the most strange events that ever happened in my life. The only other incident I had to compare this to in terms of embarrassment was when I peed my pants in the seventh grade. That was a whole other trauma that I didn't want to delve into.

He sniffled into my skin and I had to stop myself from jumping as I felt a pair of plush lips wetted by saliva pressing kisses on the column of my neck. Kisses morphed into bites that for some ungodly reason managed to create a tingling feeling between my legs. His teeth caught on my flesh as he suctioned his lips against my damp skin, probably leaving hickeys that wouldn't leave me for a week.

As soon as I thought he had stopped, I felt a cold draft of air over my chest. Motherfucker had removed my freaking blanket!?! wTF? What the hell was this dude trying to do?!! I had to stop pretending sleep, otherwise this would escalate to a worse extent than just hickeys?!

My eyes opened to see his doe eyes staring at me as his pink lips closed in around my nipple, gripping it with his teeth before he sucked at it like a baby latching on for milk. I could see his eyes flash with surprise as he didn't expect me to be awake. I gathered all my courage to face this unexpected situation. “Um, excuse me dude? Could you like let go of my nipple? I am not a mother yet, and I would prefer to not practice breast feeding you. I would like to save that privilege for my children. So could you please get your goddamn lips off my tits”?

He let go of my tit as his jaw dropped down in an O. “Now, why don’t you do me the courtesy of getting your big boy self off of me also. I’m not really built to bear heavy weights, so if you could respect my personal space, that would be great”, I continued in a curt tone.

As soon as I could feel him slide off of me, I got off the bed to collect the clothes I had strewn on the ground right next to it. I usually cared that I was completely naked, baring my cellulite infested ass to the strong daylight. But today I had other priorities. I had to get the fuck out of here. Dude had taken my virginity without me even remembering how he did it.

As I bent down to pick up the clothes I had located, I could feel two warm hands gripping my ass on either side. “But do you have to go? I thought we could go for round 2 since you agreed to being my wife”, he drawled in a light airy tone, as if we were discussing the menu for lunch.

My brain was shutting down on me. I had clearly gone insane. I might be in a psychiatric ward as we speak. It was either that, or I was about the commit murder. The fuck did he mean wife?! “EXCUSE ME, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? WIFE? WI-I-IFE?! WHO FUCKING AGREED TO BE YOUR WIFE,” I screeched in an exasperated tone.

“ALSO, GET YOUR FREAKING HANDS OFF OF ME! OTHERWISE I’LL GET A RESTRAINING ORDER ON YOU!” Just as I snatched my clothes from the floor, heading towards the direction of the door, I felt two arms that seemed more like corded chains of steel snaring my plush waist in a trap.

“Babe, first sit down and we can talk about this. Maybe you have forgotten because of the drinks last night”, he whispered against my ear as his arms guided my naked form onto his lap. Dude didn't even have the decency to cover himself with a blanket before seating me on his thick thighs. I could feel his member slide against my wet slit as he started calmly explaining, “We decided last night that you are the one for me. My one and only. I would do anything for you. I told you about my problem and you agreed to help me and be my wife for life. You are the only one who makes me hard. I’ve been to so many doctors since I was a teen. He paused as he adjusted me on his lap. I could feel a stiff rod, the length of what felt like a freaking ruler pressing into my heat. He stuttered as he continued, “Se-e, this is what you do to me. You arouse me, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. 7 days a week. Every minute, every hour, every second. Before you I could never get it up. The minute I first saw you in class, I felt so ridiculously turned on I came in my pants with barely any stimulation.”

You are the only person who I want to fuck. Ever. For the rest of my life. Please help me and be my wife. Wait just one minute.” He bent down to retrieve what looked like a little blue velvet box.

I was so exhausted. Like I had run a freaking marathon. I just wanted to run back to my room to sleep in and take a warm bath. This man took my virginity, fucked me so many times I couldn't even remember, and now wanted to continue fucking me to my early grave for the rest of my life, legally, as I was chained to him in holy fucking matrimony? hELL, TO THE FUCKING NO!

I jumped up with a sudden burst of energy, traumatized by a vision of him fucking me to death. Before he could turn around with the box, I limped out of the door uncaring of my naked state. I HAD TO GET AWAY FROM THIS PSYCHO!! THE HELL DID HE WANT WITH ME? I couldn’t handle 7 days a week, no weekends, no break, no bonuses, no holidays. My poor pussy would shrivel up and die.

It was already looking like he had disabled me. I could barely walk without wincing in pain. I threw my long shirt over my head as I scurried out of the front door looking behind my back worried that he would follow. As I hobbled out like a hag onto the sidewalk, I heard a shrill scream and what sounded like sobs as he shrieked, “PLEASE COME BACK! THE LOVE OF MY LIFE, YOU CAN’T LEAVE ME! I WILL FUCK YOU RIGHT, I WILL DO BETTER! PLEASE JUST GIVE ME A CHANCE”.

✬ as everyone was talking with Myungsoo, Joohyung stood on the far left along side Soobin just listening to everyone. The camera zoomed in and they captioned ‘the two introverts’

✬ “I almost didn’t realize you Joohyung-ssi.” Myungsoo looked over at Joohyung. “Ah because of my hair and piercings, huh?” Joohyung smiled at Myungsoo, as she fixed her oversized old leather jacket. “You look so cool!” Myungsoo complimented. “She does! Doesn’t she.” Taehyun said while the members nod in agreement.

✬ “should to play rock, paper, scissors to see who gets Joohyung?” Yeonjun asked. The staff agreed and both teams sent one person on the left side they sent Beomgyu, while on the right Yeonjun volunteered himself. Ultimately Beomgyu ended up winning on the first try. “Haha, no one takes my Jooie away.” He teased Yeonjun before Yeonjun held his fist up, and sent Beomgyu running away to his team’s side. “It’s settled Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Joohyung against Yeonjun, Kai, Myungsoo.”

✬the game they were going to play was one of Joohyung’s favorite to watch since is guess the lyrics and then they get to dance to the song.

✬ hearing Jungkook’s song Joohyung almost gave the answer away, but luckily Soobin quickly covered her mouth as Taehyun ran to the mic stand. “Joohyung come on!” Taehyun quickly pulled Joohyung out of her chair and she immediately started dancing with Taehyun.

✬once Kai got the right lyrics to smoke everyone got out of their chair and starting dancing to Bada’s choreo. Finally jellies/moas got to see Joohyung do some of the choreo before the camera panned to Kai.

✬ ‘Super Shy’ started playing and Joohyung watched Beomgyu run to the mic stand. “You better get it right dummy!” Joohyung teased him. Beomgyu started singing and doing his cute dance, but of course he forgot one word. “Soobin go save him.” Joohyung gently pushed Soobin off his chair to save the day.

✬as Yeonjun and Beomgyu did their version of twerking to a Jay Park song Joohyung started throwing fake money at him making the staff crack up

✬the staff started playing older songs Joohyung really didn’t have a clue since she doesn’t remember nor listen to older kpop songs, so she really just sat back and watched all the chaos happen.

✬ the second Joohyung heard ‘That That’ she knew Yeonjun was going to go off. Instead of sitting there and watching them she decided to join all of them and fully dance to the song

✬ hearing the Kara song Joohyung knew she had to get the point not only for her team, but for her Soobin pookie. “Move!” She pushed Kai sending him almost to the ground. Joohyung finished the lyrics without a problem, “this one is for you.” She pointed at Soobin before she started dancing. Everyone cheered before they started doing the iconic butt dance.

✬ “this time I won’t push you so let’s do it together.” Joohyung told Kai, as they were the only ones going to the mic. “Ok~” they held each other’s hands skipping to the mic stand. The two ended up singing together earning both teams a point. “Let’s go!” Joohyung hyped them up as they started dancing to ‘Loser Lover’

✬ “Joohyung-ssi is getting out of her shell.” Myungsoo pointed at her. “It’s takes me time to come out.” Joohyung chuckled.

✬ “ok this one is our last one and it goes for two points of you do the choreo.” The staff announced. “It must be a hard one.” Kai said, getting ready. ‘Oh wiheomhan jangnaneul chyeo maehokjeogijiman neol Bujeonghal bakke’ was heard. Joohyung gasped and started running along with all the other members also wanting to get the mic. Poor Myungsoo was so confused and was left behind still thinking about the song. Joohyung snatched the mic from everyone and started singing, “modeun geol samkyeobeoril Black Mamba!” The staff yelled ‘correct!’ and everyone gave Joohyung some room and once the drop came Joohyung did her iconic ‘Black Mamba’ dance. “That’s our noona!” Kai cheered.

✬ “stop moving so much!” Joohyung tried to speak with the straw in her mouth and holding Beomgyu’s head. “You can’t use hands!” Yeonjun yelled, pointing at the two. Joohyung wanted to laugh so she quickly moved the cup off her straw. Joohyung playfully lifted her fist up at Yeonjun to threaten him making him laugh.

✬ next was the game ‘roll the kimbap’ “games like this cause me stress.” Joohyung sighed, knowing how fast the members get so into the game. Immediately the camera zoomed in on Joohyung’s stress faced after Myungsoo got kicked out. After someone suggested on going faster Joohyung let out a panic scream because of how fast they were going. “Ya! You’re out!” They kicked Beomgyu out of the line. “Oh my god, I never gotten this far before.” Joohyung was surprised. “You got this noona~” Kai who was unfortunately out gave a few words of encouragement.

✬ it wasn’t long before Soobin messed up and it was only three left. Joohyung gasped, “am I really in the final three?” Joohyung really felt like a winner already. That feeling didn’t last long because Taehyun and Yeonjun were going to fast and Yeonjun was yelling in her face. “Ya! Stop yelling!” Joohyung gave up. “I was loosing my train of thought.” Joohyung whined making everyone laugh. Beomgyu hugged his pouty face girlfriend trying to make her feel better. “You did good Jooie~”

✬ Yeonjun ended up loosing to Taehyun which got his team the bad kimbap with wasabi. “Here have some of mine.” Joohyung was kind enough to each give Yeonjun and Kai two pieces each of hers.

✬ “I had fun watching everyone and I felt even more comfortable, so thank you so much for having us come on your show let’s meet again. Our new full album the name chapter: freefall is out after two and half years of waiting so please give it lots of love and support. Thank you again~” Joohyung closed them out.

Moments TK Have Been Visibly Into EO

This post is truly exactly what it says on the tin lol. I'm sitting here trying to find something clever to say about it, but the truth is I just thought it would be fun to compile a relatively brief list of moments that come to mind when I think about how visibly into each other Taehyung and Jungkook are.

It's a pretty short list in comparison to all the moments that I could include, but that just means more moments for additional parts in the future if people like this one!

I'll make little comments about what I take away from these moments, but for the most part, I really feel like they speak for themselves.

I won't lie, mentally and emotionally I'm still here, watching the Vminhopekook live from Las Vegas and calculating how long it will be before Taehyung literally eats Jungkook alive on camera. I won't lie, I have no clue how anyone doesn't see this as suspicious.

I get what other people are seeing in this live, but I don't know how they're not seeing this lol. From the moment Jungkook arrived in the room, Taehyung looked like he was going to take a bite out of him any second.

Similarly, in the LA live from the end of last year, Jungkook could not keep his eyes off Taehyung or his thighs. I mean, we all know this one, I'm sure, because honestly it's just iconic.

The way Jungkook's eyes kept drifting back to Taehyung, the way he stared no matter what else was going on, how he went to slap Tae's thigh at one point and only stopped because Taehyung reached for his hand at the same time. He was pretty obvious in this one ngl, and even if he wasn't, Jimin certainly gave them away.

I'm still not over the rehearsal from Busan where Jungkook kept pulling down Taehyung's sweater. Even if you can write off Jungkook unbuttoning it or tugging the sleeve down Tae's shoulder as just standard teasing, I don't really see how Taehyung moving to stand directly in front of Jungkook to rearrange the whole sweater can just be brushed off lol, especially considering how much they were laughing about it together.

I love this tiny interaction so much. This clip zooms in but if you happen to come across the full-body version at some point, you can see really clearly how Jungkook is heading straight forward, but then when Taehyung flirts with him a little bit, the direction of his feet completely changes as he starts to walk straight for Tae instead, like he doesn't even realize he's doing it. And Joon's reaction lol. Yeah, this is another one I can't figure out how to think around.

Honestly I was looking for a clip of a specific moment of Taehyung gazing at Jungkook with those bedroom eyes (from the 2019 to 2020 New Year's live) but I couldn't find a good version of just that, and tbh he does it a lot, so here's a little compilation for you.

Taehyung's eyes really rolled back, I mean --

This moment from the SYS The Final DVD where Jungkook was watching Taehyung practice is, I think, a really good example both of a moment where Jungkook was really into Tae, but also just the way he's so sweet for Tae all the time. He's, like, enraptured here, literally slack-jawed and staring.

I love the moment from Hobi's listening party where Jungkook was dancing and Taehyung sort of checked him out and danced up to him. I really feel like at this point, Taehyung doesn't even try to hide how hot he thinks Jungkook is, and good for them.

That's where I'm going to leave this for now, but if you have any favorite moments where you feel it's pretty plain to the eye how into each other Taekook are, please feel free to add them in the replies or send in an ask! These two are always eyeing each other and grabbing each other, so there are a lot of moments to choose from.

Their appreciation of each other is so sweet to see, in my opinion, but it's also just fun to see them being a bit obvious sometimes.

Bangtan Sonyeondan (BTS) [방탄소년단] Melon Music Awards 2019 Review

December 5, 2019

The Melon Music Awards aired on Nov. 30. in Seoul. During the awards show, Bangtan Sonyeondan [방탄소년단] almost exclusively known as BTS here in the west, performed a 40 minute set of “Intro: Persona” “Boy in Luv” “Boy With Luv” “Mikrokosmos” a dance break, and “Dionysus.”

The opening video shows the members resting on a sofa, similar to the “I NEED U” music video, hinting at BTS’s fictional story universe and that this concert might be a reflection of it. The video features motifs of lights and shadows, making fans excited that the potential albums of “Map of the Soul: Shadow” or “Map of the Soul: Ego” might be confirmed soon. It ends with Rap Monster (RM) being the only one awake, playing with a lighter.

RM starts the performance with a solo, “Intro: Persona.” His rapping is spectacular. The stage is themed like a Korean classroom and was littered with clues about fan-speculations and references to their old songs. The clack board was made to look like the scribbles of a mad man. Once RM finishes, the rest of BTS joined him for “Boy in Luv,” a 2014 song from the Skool Luv Affair era. A surprising throwback and a hint that this concert was more than meets the eye.

The song jumps into BTS’s 2019 megahit, “Boy With Luv” which is a direct continuation of the story. The screen changes from a school to the iconic movie theater from the 2019 video. Since Halsey was over here in the States, the boys sing the high notes alongside her backing track. Jimin kisses a rose and throws it into the crowd, triggering rose petals to blast out of cannons into the front rows. The boys held up hand signs of the number two, again hinting at the Ego album.

Then, everything stops and fades to black. RM speaks over a soft piano, as the white text is the only thing visible: “In the beginning, I did not shine so bright. I only knew to do my best to shine. But we found each other and our universe was born. Now let us shine on each other.” The music swells, “We’re no longer small. Just as the universe expands,” The camera cuts to the crowd filled with lights, “Our universe would last forever.”

The song “Mikrokosmos” starts, the staging mimics the Love Yourself: Speak Yourself tour, the projection and screens of stars make it appear like they were floating in the galaxy. At the softest part of the song, the stage blacks out and shows only a screen with the words “I love you” in 100s of different languages.

The video from the opening continues, Jungkook woke up and look at old TVs playing old BTS music videos. He says, “I’m still looking for who I used to be,” the camera pans back to his face, he smiles, and says, “who I am now.” RM smiles and hugs him. Shadows fill and become the other band members. Their silhouettes are overlaid with the scenes of their deaths from the “Fake Love” music video. It cuts to them all standing in the living room, the TV shows static, as Jungkook says, “Who I will be in the future.” It zooms in on his eye and showing space. The BTS logo flashes.

A greek horn blazes, like a warning before, their song “Dionysus.” Greek imagery is everywhere. The screen is lifted and we see men highlighted by a dark red light. They march like soldiers, and people on spinning rings drop for the ceiling. V raises from the ground in a white and gold suit leaning heavily into Apollo imagery. His dance is dark and moody set to an old BTS song “No More Dream.”

Then it shifts to Jin, in an all-white suit, on a horse figurine before dancing to an orchestrated new version of “Danger” as his imagery leads to hot debates and the two conclusions that he is representing either Athena or Ares. His dancing is his controlling of an army to fight.

Everything fades to blue as a long flowing sheet is ran across stage and Jimin is shown alone as Artemis, in a silk outfit illuminated by simple light bulbs meant to look like stars. He ballet style dances to “I NEED U,” while using the piece of cloth to highlight his movement and incorporating a traditional Korean dance in his set.

The stage then lights up with red lights and actual fire for Suga’s song and dance “Fire.” He is representing Hephaestus and is costumed like he was back in the Hwa Yong Yeon Hwa era of BTS’s music.

Water falls over and stops the fire and Jungkook is shown sitting in a pool of water and smoke. His song is “Save Me” and he represents Poseidon. He spends and splashes water everywhere, his tasseled shirt helps with the movement.

Then the lights struck down as J-Hope dances to a techno style remix of “Fake Love,” he is Zeus shown with a laser light show.

Lastly, the leader, RM enters to “Dionysus” powerfully walking onstage as Dionysus and picking up his mythical thyrsus. He holds it over his head and rolls his eyes back as he plants it into the ground. The stage burst into life.

Then BTS performs “Dionysus” surrounded by Greek imagery. The insane choreography is some of BTS’s hardest yet and the staging is overly grand. Men in boring uniforms and men leading real horses enter. BTS sits on a Mount Olympus court as the song kicks off. RM jumps onto the table and walks across, then pounds his fist and the other members rise. They dance on the front table before moving to the front. Before the final verse, they revealed “Dionysus” remixed “N.O.” again emphasizing that they haven’t lost the love for their old music. Right before the hardest part of the dance RM asked the audience: “You ready for this? Is you ready, see your hype! Jump! Come on, let’s go!” The show finished with all of the band members sitting on thrones.

At the award portion of the night, they won eight awards, four of those being daesangs, or “grand prizes.” The group won Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
