At the ripe age of 18, Juniper Leaphy was given a huge plot of land, the keys to a rundown little farmhouse, and $1000 to spare. How exciting!

Dear Diary,

Today was Love Day! I took the day off of work today, so when River got home, he gave me "the most special treatment any pregnant lady has ever received", or so he says. He also took me to the arcade today! A little unusual, but I felt like I was a kid again and had so much fun.

Even more, when Aspen got home from school, he gave me a daisy! I could tell he picked it from my greenhouse, but I thought it was so cute and didn't want to hurt his feelings so I pretended I had no idea. I'm sure he couldn't tell I was acting.

I feel so loved today!

Dear Diary,

After Harvestfest, the gnomes had dropped so many seeds that it was getting a little daunting to tend the garden all on my own. River, bless his heart, tries his best to help me out, but he can only do so much. I also invite the Garden Gnomes around to help out but all Lucas Munch wants to do is play the guitar, and the rest of them just want to watch Lucas play the guitar.

I remembered Mom and Dad had a Patchy the Scarecrow when I was too young to help with the farm. So I got one of my own! Although... He wouldn't move or anything? I poked him, told him a joke, talked about birds, and nothing!

Maybe if I taunted his ability to scare crows...?

Dear Diary,

Today was Aspen's birthday! We threw a small birthday party for him and I made him a honey cake with the honey I collected from the bee house.

Time really does fly so fast, doesn't it? Pretty soon he'll be leaving the nest :( I already miss my baby and he's not going anywhere any time soon!

Dear Diary,

Last night River and I were talking about how excited we were for the baby and the next day while he was at work, I went into labor! Luckily he was able to leave early and meet me at the hospital in time.

He freaked out the entire time and I'm not sure if it was because a whole human baby was trying to escape my body or if it was because of hormones, but I was not in the best mood.

That is, of course, before I met our little boy! I'm so happy that this little bundle of joy is finally in my arms.

Dear Diary,

After months and months (days and days) of trying and heartbreak, we're finally having another baby! I'm so excited! I told River the good news and he seems to be as excited as I am! He joked that since we already have a son named Aspen, maybe we could have another child named Fir or Birch or Pine. I told him we'd only name our unborn child after another tree if we could give them the middle name Branch!

All jokes aside, we're both very happy to finally have another addition to the family. Aspen will be a great older brother!

Aspen aged up today! He's the spitting image of River and absolutely adorable. We're thinking of adopting a puppy soon, so Aspen has a friend to grow up with. Still deciding on what breed we want though...

Dear Diary,

Although I'm much older than I used to be, I still have the passion and energy for gardening! I got a haircut today; it's much easier to manage and I don't have to worry about doing it up all nicely since it's a simple and sleek style.

As much as I love gardening however, it's hard work and I'm looking forward to Aspen becoming a teenager. He told me that when he's old enough, he'll do all the dirty work for me. What a sweetie!

Dear Diary,

Winterfest was so amazing! I made a tofurkey earlier in the morning and after all the decorating and present-opening, we were all ready to have the grand meal together! It was so nice to have dinner as a family and just enjoy each other's company.

After dinner, Father Winter paid us a visit! In addition to the model train and Henry Puffer books we got him, Father Winter gave Aspen, drumroll please... a bottle of bubbles :) The man is kind of cheap, isn't he?

River also announced that he booked us a trip to Sulani over the weekend! I can't believe it! Aspen was so excited to go play at the beach, and I am so excited to escape the freezing cold for a few days!

The next time you hear from me, I'll be writing in the warm embrace of the Sulani sun!

Dear Diary,

I got promoted today! I'm now on the track to becoming a botanist! I went to tell Baby Cowplant about it first because well... I'm scared that if I don't talk to it everyday it'll grow up with a grudge and eat me. And then I told Aspen the big news, but since he's only a baby he just smiled at me and started bouncing.

I'll take that as a congratulations.

Dear Diary,

Remember how I said I wanted to go back to Mt. Komorebi when I wasn't pregnant? Well here we are again! This time, with an older Aspen and two little cuties. We wanted to celebrate the twins' birthday and thought a weekend in the snow was perfect.

We took the kiddos sledding on the bunny slope, it was the cutest thing I've ever seen! We spent most of the day doing this with the twins. By the time we got back to the lodging, they were all ready for dinner and straight to bed!

River asked me on a date to the park in Oasis Springs! We had so much fun, I almost didn't wanna go home! Honestly, I felt such a strong connection with him. I feel like we were made for each other somehow. I know it's a little quick, but I asked him to be my boyfriend and he said yes!
