a/n (2): I also wasn't sure on whether or not to add riki into this one as well but I decided to go for it but riki is not drinking and the reader is legal to drink in the drabble

you had been out celebrating with some friends and jungwon had been their too to make sure you didn't go overboard

what he wasn't expecting was for you to claim to not know who he was when it was time to leave

he wasn't suprised by your drunken behavior but he was taken aback when you asked him to prove he actually was your boyfriend

"If you're really my boyfriend, tell me something only he would know about me?" you interrogate him raising an eyebrow

"You once farted in front of my friends and blamed my dog." he says shaking his head

immediately covering his mouth you shush him feeling embarrassed at the revelation

"I can't believe Jungwon told you, he swore never to say anything." you whisper pouting as he gently removed your hands

"That's because I am Jungwon, now let's get you sobered up."

despite having already known this little secret you still couldn't seem to look Jungwon in the eye until you ran away into your room to go sleep to avoid him

you had a night out with some friends and your boyfriend was always the go-to person to call when you got hammered

tonight was unexpectedly different when you saw riki and pushed him away

even your friends would try telling you to sober up so heeseung could take you home but you argued that you didn't know him

"I DON'T KNOW THAT MAN! DON'T FEED ME TO THE WOLVES YOU PUNKS!" you yell out to your friends

he was shocked to say the least because you've never acted this way around him

soon your boyfriend had to step in and he carried you over his shoulder whilst you hit his back

"LET GO OF ME YOU CREEP BEFORE I CALL THE POLICE BECAUSE IF I CALL MY BOYFRIEND HE WON'T GO EASY ON YOU!" you fight as your words came out slurred

despite your pretty weak defence, he oddly found this entertaining

he makes sure to help you sober up and feeds you until you fall asleep

you were a mess

jay got a call from your friends that you were crying saying you missed him and so he came over to get you

turns out you were just incredibly drunk and rambling over how perfect your boyfriend was and you 'didn't deserve him'

"I'm right here darling, wanna leave?" jay says rubbing your back as you look at him dazed

"Who are you sir?" you ask sniffling softly as you wipe a tear

he was left too stunned to speak

thought it was just you messing around with him but after he laughed and he say how stoic you were, he realised you were serious

"What, I'm literally your boyfriend, it's me Jay." he says pointing to himself as you shake your head

"No, my boyfriend is way cuter, no offense sir." you tell him taking another sip of your drink

he wasn't sure whether to take your words as an offense or a compliment but he still couldn't believe it

jake got a little pouty seeing as you couldn't recognise him

all he wanted was your affection but you wouldn't even touch him, CUDDLE THE MAN BEFORE HE DIES STARVED OF TOUCH

to make matters worse was you tried everything in your power to avoid him thinking you were in danger

poor guy had to chase after you trying to calm you down but to no avail

you'd tried hiding, screaming and even running away but he always came back

"Baby please stop, it's me, Jake. Layla's dad." he tells you making you go into shock

"HOW DO YOU KNOW MY BOYFRIEND'S DOG YOU STALKER?!" you yell at him as you hiccup slightly still drunk

you still didn't believe his words so you decided to call jake for yourself and somehow the phone in the stranger's pocket rang

"YOU ATE JAKE!!" you accuse him pointing at him in horror

"Oh for fucks sakes." he says done with your drunk self

he was offended to say the least

"But (y/n) it's me, you're handsome and funny boyfriend. Snap out of it." he says shaking you lightly with his hands on your shoulders

you on the other hand was ready to fight because you couldn't believe this 'stranger' just laid his hands on you

"One more word buddy and I'll throw my shoe at you!" you warn your boyfriend slapping his hands off as you turn to leave

sunghoon was very adamant to get you to recognise him because he was your designated ride home anyway

"Sweetheart it's me, I'm Sunghoon!" he says again getting aggravated

true to your prior warning, you indeed took off your shoe and threw it at him

hoon woke up the next morning with a huge bump on his forehead and you couldn't remember a thing

"Where did you get that bump from baby?" you ask handing him an ice packing having no idea

he still wonders how someone so incredibly drunk had such great aim

"CAUSE IIIIII KNOW YA LIKE BOY!" you sing (more like scream) at the top of your lungs as sunoo directed you into the house

you had a few glasses of wine earlier on after working and sunoo was left in your care having picked you up after a karaoke night with friends

"Thank you for the ride mister taxi man." you tell your boyfriend getting out of the car

he was left very confused because he'd thought it was a joke at first when you got into the backseat and told him your address but he didn't pay much mind to it

"Sir why are you coming into my house." you ask trying to stand up straight to only lose your balance but sunoo was quick to catch you

"I live with you silly, I'm your boyfriend." he explains realising you didn't recognise him

"I already have one, his name is Sunoo, see." you tell him showing him your lockscreen of you and sunoo together

"Okay how about you go to sleep and your boyfriend will be right next to you once you wake up." he tells you gently brushing your hair

true to his words, you woke up to your sweet boyfriend right next to you still not realising he was with you the entire night

as hurt as he was seeing you fail to recognise him, part of him also found it adorable

he knew he should've tried to help you sober up but watching you was like watching a patient who'd just gotten their wisdom tooth out and the gas had taken over

"Did you know I'm actually a secret spy, it's a secret but I'm telling you even though I've never met you before." you whisper looking around as if not wanting anyone to hear you

he would simply play along because he found this extremely entertaining

and this would be great content as birthday exposure

"And I have this super tall boyfriend, he's nine feet tall now." you say proudly not realising how ridiculous you actually sound

"You kinda remind me of him, only difference is you're much shorter... and he's way more handsome." you tell him mumbling the last part but riki caught on

it stopped being funny after you had made fun and complimented him at the same time and he realised you needed to stop with the drinks

he couldn't believe you were complimenting another man right in front of him... it was him but that's not the point-

↳ linking your pinky with his

this had been a small little habit jungwon developed whenever he felt too shy to hold your hand in public and you found it adorable

he always thought your little pinky was adorable and linking his with yours felt like he was also making some sort of pinky promise to you

you had both been walking around the amusement park looking for a new ride to try but as the day went by it was becoming more conjested with people

linking your pinkies together to avoid losing you in the crowd of people, jungwon then continued walking as you tried to look for something else to try

"Baby there's the ferris wheel! Let's go there!" your boyfriend excitedly says as he pulls you along

still with your pinky in his, he swayed your arms back and forth as you waited in line for the ride

you found this pinky thing endearing and cute as along the way his shyness would disappear and he would hold your whole hand in his without realising

pulling you closer to him, jungwon leaned his head on yours as you both enjoyed the view of the city from the ferris wheel

heeseung would cup your face, carefully bending down before giving your cheeks, nose, forehead and lastly your lips all a peck

despite loving to show you affection with little kisses here and there, he mostly enjoyed giving you forehead and nose kisses because of how flustered you would become afterwards

"Good morning my angel, how did you sleep?" he asks making his way to you giving your nose a little kiss as you brushed your hair

"Wonderful since I was with you." you say to him giving his nose a kiss too before kissing his lips

because of your boyfriend, you had also grown accustomed to kissing his nose and sometimes his forehead too (if you are a taller s/o)

he loved smothering you in his affection but because he couldn't always kiss you directly whenever you were in public

heeseung settled on just kissing your forehead and nose

he had been doing it everyday since you both started going out that on days that he didn't, you would even think something was wrong

"I think you're forgetting something sir." you playfully tease as he laughs in understanding

he would soon cup your face making sure to leave a kiss on both cheeks, your lips and ofcourse your favourite, your nose and forehead

"How does the sauce taste, I think it could be missing something." you ask your boyfriend as he tasted the sauce and momentarily thought before nodding

"Mhm, this is pretty good darling. Good job." jay praises giving you a kiss on the cheek going back to cooking his part of the meal

cooking with jay was a great bonding experience for the both of you

you both loved cooking and being able to do it together only made it better and far more memorable and enjoyable

if you weren't cooking together then jay was most definitely cooking for you because he knew you loved his cooking

cooking became a love language in your relationship where cooking for or with you was just jay's way of expressing his love and appreciation

"I was thinking we could try something Italian for dinner next week?" he suggests with his head in your lap as you both relaxed watching a show together

"That sounds perfect to me."

jake had always been a pda and physically affectionate person

he absolutely loved being around you, he would glue himself to you if he could

"Hi baby, what're you up to?" your boyfriend asks curiously as you continue cutting up the fruit on the cutting board

"Just making a little snack, here you go," you tell him, feeding him a piece of strawberry

he sweetly thanks you before leaving a chaste kiss on the crook of your neck as he swayed the both of you

simply staying in that position, you continued making your food with your boyfriend wrapped around you

sunghoon was a rather diligent and observant person, perfectionist too

helping to adjust certain accessories or pieces of clothing you wore had always been a habit he had which soon grew with you

he found it cute how you would sometimes have the small things out of place and he would be able to 'touch it up' for you

you would both be taking a stroll and your boyfriend would halt in his steps to kneel down and tie your loose shoelaces

it made your heart skip a beat seeing how sunghoon would notice these small things you sometimes didn't either

here you both were at the ice rink skating around and sunghoon quickly paused his movements to adjust your scarf around your neck before he kissed your forehead

"I don't want my sweetheart getting cold." he says warmly as he held your hand to continue skating

without fail, sunghoon knew how to make you fall utterly more in love with him

"Okay, which sheet mask should we go with, the sanrio character ones or plain?" sunoo asks lifting up both packets

"Definitely sanrio." you answer as he nods sitting across from you to help put the mask on your face as you did his

this was a tradition between the both of you where every weekend, or ones which were free, were for skincare and movie nights

it became a habit after sunoo had suggested it and you thought it was really cute

your boyfriend would always help you with your skincare such as applying the products and sometimes even giving you massages

if anything he probably needed them the most with how stressful his work was but sunoo was just happy to see you relaxed

you both would always share tips and tricks from tiktok you would see and were always trying new brands

the couple who's face card never declines, you both have flawless and glowing skin (I'm jealous)

"There you go, let's take a few selfies now." he suggests after getting the masks on

he quickly gives your little nose a kiss and grabs his phone ready to capture the memories

↳ falling asleep over a call

it was 2 am and after falling asleep whilst face timing your boyfriend, you notice the call was still on and he too was peacefully asleep from the screen

having to deal with a busy schedule, the most riki got to talk to you was at the end of his work days right before bed

this is where he soon started falling asleep over your calls during his especially busier days

you obviously didn't mind this seeing as you found it cute how peaceful he looked whenever he was sleeping

and that he was comfortable enough to fall asleep on a call with you

you would both just be talking about the most random things for hours and after a few yawns left his mouth

you convinced him to go sleep but he said he wouldn't end the call

riki instead fell asleep and soon you followed whilst your facetime was ongoing

whispering a soft good night, you ended your call with riki and went back to sleep

jake was already clingy when he was sober, but he becomes 100 times clingier when he's drunk be it around you or his friends (mostly with you though)

so much more affectionate with you, always wanting kisses and hugs and gets pouty when you don't give him

like he's a motor and he will mention the most random and silly things that most of the time are slurred and don't make sense

when you do come around he may forget who you are in a daze

also a stubborn and pouty baby

accuses you of ruining the fun and being a party pooper

when he does give in and starts recognising you he will be all over you with the sloppiest kisses

"Guys, my lovely (y/n) is here! Hi baby, when did you arrive?"

you'd been there the entire time but he was too drunk to notice

"Crazy story though, I almost got kidnapped before you got here but you came to save me." he says with a sheepish smile

"I'll always save you angel." you tell him kissing his forehead laughing softly at your drunk boyfriend

jake is glued to you now with his arms around you and his head on your shoulder

he ends up going from 100 to 0 real quick

all that energy he had before disappears and he becomes quieter and sleepier

in the end he probably just passes out and one of the other members has to help you get this big boy into the car for you

he wakes up to find a whole bunch of embarrassing photos and videos of him doing the oddest things

I'm talking about a video of him sent by sunghoon hugging a streetlight claiming it was you

he will never hear the end of it from both his friends and you for the next coming weeks

jake learnt his lesson and he'll be sure to be more watchful of his drinking now

what was once a night out with the guys soon turned into jungwon trying to kick you out of your own house because he claimed you were a crazy fan that broke in claiming to be his partner

your boyfriend didn't enjoy drinking to begin with but his members convinced him to have a few celebratory drinks and he had one too many he could handle

"I know taekwondo! I-I won't fight you but I will if necessary. What did you do to my partner?" he said glaring at you lifting up his tiny fists as his cheeks and ears became more rosy tinted

jungwon was usually pretty calm, but seeing as he could barely recognise you and he thought you were kidnapped or hurt he got quite riled up and defensive

looking over to jay you shake your head in disappointment knowing you would have to deal with your boyfriend who didn't even want to be near you

asian flushed and completely wasted, dealing with a dazed heeseung who didn't recognise you was not part of your plans at 2 am on a sunday

"That's because I am (y/n), I don't have a twin baby." you correct him swatting his hand away from your face

suddenly becomes more giggly and nothing he says makes sense anymore

"I have the best partner actually. I haven't seen them today though, but it was great meeting you, the family genes must be super strong. Woah, you even have the same mole on your nose like they do, that's crazy!" your boyfriend says clapping as he covered his mouth in shock

"Lee Heeseung, we've been together for 3 years and you know I only have an older brother. I don't have a twin." you remark once again trying not to shake him so he gets back to his senses

no matter how many times you try to tell him you're dating him, he still believes you're just his partner's identical twin

wakes up the next morning asking where you were the entire night and how he met your 'twin' he hadn't known about

jay knew how to handle his liquor quite well but it seemed he had something stronger he couldn't handle

when he was drunk he was either extremely loud or just quiet and stoic, no in between

unfortunately tonight he was on the more reserved and quiet side of his drunkenness

what you weren't expecting was for your boyfriend to be drunk to the extent of not recognising you

"Here's some water to help you sober up honey." you say giving him a bottle of water to which he shook his head pushing it away

"If this is your way of flirting, I'm not interested. You can leave." he says coldly not even glancing at you

to say you were shocked was a complete understatement, you were flabbergasted, appalled

"Jay what, you're literally dating me." you say not believing how incredibly drunk he was

"I think I know what my partner looks like thank you very much, and how do you even know my name-" he asks glaring at you as a small hiccup escapes from his lips

at some point, you couldn't even get through to your stubborn boyfriend and his friends had to help him sober up before he finally started to recognise who you were

jake drinking was one thing, he could handle himself

jake drinking with friends and really letting loose was another thing

everything would be going well up until the blackout stage

finding your boyfriend passed out at the table you had reserved you shake him awake and he looks at you confused

"I'm sorry but who are you?" jake asks trying to keep his eyes open as his speech came out slurred and soft

"I'm your partner Jake." you laugh at the confusion

his eyes suddenly widen as he steps away from you seemingly to have his sleep kicked out of his body

"No way! I have a girlfriend already, her name is Layla!" he says with a slight stutter which usually happened when he blatantly lied

"Jake, sweetie... Layla is your dog."

this was your first time witnessing sunghoon being this drunk

I'm taking wasted to the point that your own boyfriend couldn't even recognise you and it was breaking your heart

"Sunghoon, it's me love, stop trying to run away." you say chasing after him across the playground as he hid in one of the tubes

"Leave me alone! I don't know you! My mom said not to talk to strangers." he said glaring at you as you laughed softly at his childish manners

heeseung mentioned he was drunk but never did you expect him to have been on this level

"I'm your partner Hoonie, did you really forget me." you pout trying to crawl over to him in the tube

"Well whoever you are, you're nice and all but my partner probably thinks I'm missing so I need to go find them." he pats your head leaving through the slide as you sigh to go after him once again

he did eventually come back to his senses but he didn't remember half of what happened

"Where have you been?? This one weirdo kept following me around claiming it was you." he whispers the last part looking around afraid he was still being followed by the 'stranger'

how this tall man managed to squeeze into those tiny play area tubes remains a mystery

"You remind me alot of my partner. Not only do you look alot like them but you're sweet and funny too." sunoo tells you as he hiccuped

"That's because I am your partner angel." you say to him with a soft smile

here you were with an arm around a drunk sunoo taking him home after a night out with friends at a bar

although it seemed your boyfriend had a little too much because he couldn't recognise you

he simply thought you were a kind stranger who was helping him that oddly knew his name, knew where he lived and looked extremely alike to his lover

nothing out if the ordinary, plus he was too drunk to analyse and question how weird everything seemed

"No you aren't, my partner always has our matching ring on." he says with a pout showing you the ring on his pinky finger

lifting your hand you show him the ring and his eyes immediately widen

having found out you loved flowers, hanbin made it his mission as your boyfriend to buy you flowers whenever he could, which was almost every other week

most of the time he would gift them to you himself but on the days he couldn't, he made sure they were delivered to you

your home was slowly turning into a botanical garden but you loved seeing the colourful flowers brighten up your home

hanbin somehow always knew when to get a new bouquet for you and when you asked him, he had said the owner of the local flower shop he buys from was kind enough to tell him how long they would usually stay alive for

"What sort of flowers should I get you next week? We did lillies last time, how about tulips, perfect for spring." he suggests showing his whisker smile that had you weak

your boyfriend tried to get different flowers each time and would even go as far as seeing what they mean and writing a little note on that

having told him it wasn't necessary to constantly buy you flowers, he ofcourse insisted because he enjoyed buying them for you

small things like this made you realise you had won the boyfriend of the year

holding your hand was mandatory to jiwoong

if you were around him, he had to be holding your hand in some way or form

he has always been a complete gentleman to you too

from the day you both had started dating, he grew into this habit of kissing the back of your hand whenever you were holding hands

this little display of affection melted your heart each time you felt his soft lips place a short kiss to your hand

winter had come in and you and jiwoong decided to take a walk to a nearby park to enjoy the snow a bit despite how incredibly cold it was outside

"My hands are freezing." you pout trying to get some friction in your hands rubbing them together but it was no use

you soon felt a large figure wrap himself around you from behind as he hugged you with his jacket to keep you both warm

"I swear if your brother touches my hair again, I'm going to uppercut him." you tell your best friend next to you as you comb through your previously ruffled hair.

You had known Heeseung for as long as you'd been friends with your best friends which was equivalently, many... many years.

You loved your best friend but her brother would never leave you alone.

He had his days where he was sweet with you but most of the time you were fighting back the urge to high kick his pretty little face.

"He says ruffling your hair before a game is his good luck charm." you friend says shrugging her shoulders as she munches on her popcorn.

"Yeah well he better find another goodluck charm, he's ruining my good hair days." you defend glaring at the boy who happened to run across the basketball court with his teammates.

You tried so hard to despise him and how smart, funny, considerate and kind he was, but oh how you wanted to so badly run over to Heeseung on the court and just kiss him.

This was someone who didn't necessarily make the best of impressions on you the first time seeing as he stole your blue highlighter in 4th grade, but the bright side was if it wasn't for him, you wouldn't have met your best friend who happened to return the very same highlighter apologising for her 'stupid' twin brother who took it in the first place.

From that day on, you made Heeseung your nemesis, he didn't know he was, so yes, your one sided nemesis, you were a grudge holder.

Heeseung did eventually apologise in which you forgave him but you weren't easy to forget about it either.

Over the years of growing a friendship with your best friend, her brother was seemingly in the picture too.

They were close, but they would also banter and tease each other alot like many other siblings did and you found that dynamic between them special.

Heeseung soon started treating you the same, yes he was sweet to you when he wanted to be but most of the time it was just teasing and being playful and sometimes even the subtle flirting.

Although a year ago everything started changing.

You had had a very romantic and somewhat suggestive dream about him and for days you had tried avoiding Heeseung because you were embarrassed to even think you could possibly think of him in that light.

For years you had only seen him platonically but all of a sudden one dream put everything into a new perspective that just maybe... you had feelings for your best friend's brother.

After avoiding him for almost a week straight, Heeseung obviously thought he did something and so he offered to take you out to lunch as an 'apology' still having no idea he had actually done nothing wrong and it was all just you going through some intrapersonal conflict.

But he had won you over and you were simply left dealing with new feelings for Heeseung you were afraid to admit.

"Okay let's start working on this project." Heeseung says as you both walked into his bedroom to work.

It didn't feel all too unfamiliar since you'd been in here before when his sister was around but it felt odd since it would just be the both of you alone this time.

In one of the classes you shared with Heeseung, your professor had assigned everyone a partner for a new project for the semester and Heeseung just happened to be the person you were paired up with leading to this moment.

You had both been working hand in hand for the past hour and a half now and there was great progress being made.

"How about we take a short break since we've been working for a while now." you say turning to Heeseung next to you who happened to already be looking at you.

"Stop looking at me like that, call me a bug like you always do already." you mumble rolling your eyes as you break away from his staring.

"You're actually really beautiful." he says leaning on the table with one hand as he smiles admiring your facial features.

"Funny, are you getting sick, never heard you compliment me in a minute." you joke with him putting your hand on his forehead but his temperature was normal.

Unexpectedly Heeseung gently pulls your hand away leaning his face closer to yours.

Your heart was beating right out of your chest at the close proximity between you both, was he going to do it.

You notice his gaze go from your eyes to your lips and back as you did the same, both of you seemingly waiting for the other to make the first move.

To both of your suprise, you were the one to initiate the first move pressing your lips together finally kissing him.

But the moment was quick to end as the thought of your best friend catching you both crossed your mind and you hesitantly pulled away.

"We shouldn't-" you start off but you were cut off by Heeseung pulling you back in for a second kiss.

This time he deepened the kiss a gentle hand on your cheek and you felt like this moment wouldn't end.

This time Heeseung pulled away leaving a soft peck on your cheeks and nose and reality hit you once again.

Standing up abruptly you began walking back and forth around the room not believing what you'd just done.

"Oh my gosh, I just kissed my best friend's brother. She's gonna hate me. She'll never want to be friends with me anymore. Why did i kiss you. No I shouldn't like you in the first place." you ramble nervously as you hit your forehead for your reckless decision.

"Wait... you like me back?" he asks scratching the back of his neck as he stood up walking towards you.

You'd forgotten he could hear everything you were saying and you had accidentally confessed your feelings indirectly.

Well there was no trying to hide or run away from it.

But he said 'back', doesn't that mean he likes you too?!

"I do like you but-" you tell him as he stood in front of you holding your hands in his as he stopped you probably sensing what you were going to say.

Being the first out of the car, he walks over to your side opening the door for you as he takes your hand in his getting out the car approaching the restaurant.

Walking in, you begin scanning the venue and spot your family around a large table conversing.

It was your niece's birthday today and so your sister thought a small intimate family dinner would be nice after the birthday party she had with friends during the day.

This also seemed like the perfect way to introduce your boyfriend to your family and most importantly, your parents.

Looking over to Jay once more, you smoothen out his suit as you adjust his tie, you couldn't believe you got to call this guy your boyfriend.

You clutch onto Jay's hand a little tighter and finally walk to the table and your six year old niece was the first to notice you both.

"Aunt (y/n)!" she screams excitedly as she ran over to you jumping into your arms.

"Hi sweetie, happy birthday." you tell her hugging her tightly.

"Thank you." she sweetly says still holding on to you not paying any mind to Jay solely focusing on you.

"Good evening everyone. I hope you don't mind, but I brought a very special date with me today." you say nervously as Jay politely bows before out stretching his hand to shake everyone's.

"I'm Jay Park. (Y/n)'s boyfriend." he formally introduces himself as your dad chokes on the glass of water he was drinking.

Since the formalities were now settled, the table seemed to have turned into an investigation room.

Your sister didn't really have much to say since she had already heard about Jay from you (he was all you spoke about) and she could tell how happy he made you and that was enough to approve of him in her books.

Your parents were nailing the poor guy with all these questions but Jay assured you that this was nothing and it was a 'rite of passage' to be questioned by their significant other's parents.

He made sure he answered all their questions to the best of his ability and he was seemingly doing well and they were all impressed.

"So when did you two meet?" your mom asks looking between the two of you.

"It was about a year ago. We have the same mutual friend and he thought we both had personalities that could really match and we would get along and decided to set us up during a group hang out." jay tells them smiling over at you.

It felt like all your worries were washing away with each question, all of them were answered impeccably and you should've known Jay would've handled this incredibly.

"So any plans after getting your degree?" your dad asks him.

"I want to go into culinary full time, I'm already working towards opening up my own restaurant one day and hopefully I can also get your blessing to marry your daughter around that time in the future too." he confidently says which seems to have left the entire table in shock, including you.

Marriage was a topic you and Jay had lightly went over in the past but hearing him say this for the first time made butterflies erupt in your stomach.

He was slowly but surely winning over your parents.

Your niece on the other hand may need a bit more convincing.

She moved from the seat beside her mom and forcefully sat between you and Jay because she wanted to 'sit next to her favourite person' (her mom was holding back tears at this point).

"Aunt (y/n), I think this man is stealing you away from me." she whispers in your ear pouting as she picked at her food.

"Oh no sweetie, my boyfriend Jay is a great person. Maybe if you talk to him a bit more you'll see how funny and cool he is and why I think you'll like him too." you laugh softly brushing a hair out of her face as she hesitantly nods.

"I love your daughter sir. She has definitely shown me a different perspective to life that I didn't notice before and now I can't imagine any part of my life without her." you overhear Jay say to your dad as he nods with his pokerface on display but you could see the corners of his lips curling into a small smile.

By the end of the night, it felt as if Jay was part of the family and he had known everyone for years now.

Taking in the sight of him with your niece almost brought tears to your eyes too.

Her little hand was holding onto his pinky as she told him about how she wanted to be a rockstar when she grows up after Jay told her he could play the guitar.

This all felt like the perfect way to end the night.

"Oh honey, why didn't you introduce us to Jay sooner, he's amazing." your mother lighty hits your arm before squeezing you in a tight hug.

"I'm just glad you didn't bring around some druggie kid angel." your dad says leaving a kiss on your forehead before hugging you as well.

"I didn't know how either of you would react or how this relationship would go so I didn't didn't to introduce him too early." you tell them looking down.

"If you break up I'm coming for you, not him. He is so in love with you that he might as well tattoo it across his forehead." your sister chimes in watching her daughter still with Jay as she laughed at a joke he made.

"Don't say it too loud, he might actually hear you and do it. And I do not plan on breaking up, I can't lose Jay." you jokingly say before adding in that last part.

Meeting your family went way better than you had expected and all that relief seeped in as you sat in Jay's car after saying goodbye to your family.

"See I told you everything would go well." jay says and you only nod accepting defeat that you stressed over nothing and that Jay was right.

"Hate to say it but I think they like you more than me. You're their future son in law in their eyes now." you admit feeling betrayed by your own family.

"Well I'm just glad that they like me. They have to since I'm in love with their daughter." he says.

He holds onto your hand kissing the back of your palm and you felt yourself falling in love with Jay all over again.

"Thank you." you say to him giving him a tight hug over the seat as he hugs you back rubbing your back gently.

"For what love?" he asks chuckling at your sudden behaviour.

"Everything really. I just appreciate you." you admit letting out a sigh.

"Well I appreciate you too. How about we go home now and have a movie marathon date, I'll make you whatever you want." he suggests and you laugh softly.

"How can I not marry you when you're this amazing, husband material at its finest. You better put a ring on it Jongseong."
