Name: Homura Akemi

Arcanas: Death, Fool

Personas: Morpheus, Argo, Pallas

Homura, is the transfer student who mysteriously has both 2 personas, but an evoker & knowledge on S.E.E.S.’s goals and members. She acts incredibly cold and blunt towards really anyone from S.E.E.S. except Madoka for some odd reason, who she calls “too kind for her own good.”

Predictably, she is a time traveller with 12 year long attempts to save Madoka. She managed to fuse what little amount of personas she had into Argo, a persona with the power of time manipulation. She opposes the S.E.E.S., but sometimes does aid them when they almost lose against some shadows. She lost her Fool Arcana & Full Wild Card ability over time due to maturing and dropping any and all bonds she could of have made.

She does not take Madoka’s sacrifice well, and she reattains her Fool Arcana and Wild Card Ability and becomes the protagonist of the Answer portion of the story.

PERSONAS

Unlike the other Personas where they evolve from personal growth, Homura’s personas are two completely separate Personas she can switch between harnessing.

Argo of the Death Arcana is the Persona that stemmed from her hardened and cold personality she developed over time. The Argo is the legendary ship that the Argonauts sailed to attain the Golden Fleece. The Golden Fleece refers to Madoka, with fleece being associated with sheep (symbolizing Jesus Christ, with his sacrifice reflecting Madoka’s Sacrifice) and Gold (meaning divinity). With this persona being an item, it refers to Homura seeing it more as a tool than a reflection of herself and her steadfast determination referring to how a boat effortlessly sails from one area to another, braving whatever could be out there. The butterfly refers to the butterfly effect, where one changes the past to change the future and the clock tower is the part of the persona that can reverse time.

Her original persona that she obtained in her first timeline, Morpheus. Morpheus is the god of dreams and son of Somnus, god of sleep. He was sent by Juno to warn Alycone and her husband Ceyx in a dream to warn them of Ceyx’s death. Homura tried to warm the team about the impending danger, but was unfortunately never listened to. This is symbolized in her straitjacket and mouth being tied shut, being seen as a lunatic or fool. The hands behind her represent Homura working in the background, not always participating in the team to further her goals. The bottom half of her design is an hourglass for obvious reasons but it’s tied with a ribbon and adorned with a butterfly, symbolizing the aforementioned butterfly effect.

Was there a specific moment when Chris regretted being in this "relationship"?

So it’s not uncommon to get all reversals but the way this happens when talking about this situation and the way I’m not the only reader it happens to….😮‍💨

So there came a time when he realized this was effecting his ability to find his person. The empress in reverse comes first followed by the world, so no completion. It also was unbalancing him and sapping his strength. He took a monetary hit because of this but it’s more than that, it’s like it took his will away. It made him feel like he couldn’t do it. Like if he can’t find her he has nothing. I won’t go I to his chart but the Libra stuff is what come to mind. Ok yes I will, his Jupiter-Saturn are in Libra, they aspect everything, and his Pluto-Juno are in Libra. Libra is the sign of relationships, of any kind. He needs her to transform and he knows it.

When did he realize this?

When the opportunity did not bring the happiness and good opinion that he had planned. Literally, a bad opportunity, sneakily undertaken resulting in happiness and self worth. Judgement is how you can sleep with yourself knowing what you’ve done. I think he lied to himself. Because they’re upright but the shadow card is the inverted queen of cups. He made bad business decisions for his happiness and good self opinion but they actually made him unhappy because he wasn’t honest with himself about what he wanted. This explains the trying and failing I’ve seen for him and why his current plan isn’t what Spirit wants. They are trying to tell him the ends cannot be gotten by those means. Can you live with happiness gained this way or will it eat you from the inside? I think we’ve seen the answer.

Edit: the page of pentacles reversed and the 7 of swords reversed could literally be trolling and then the joy it brought him but then he felt icky inside.

General description: Even if he tries to hide his slender body with his clothes because he’s not that proud of his lack of muscles, his back is well defined and big, just a bit bony, but its decorated with a ton of little dark freckles that also appear in his chest, legs and arms. His most noticiable feature is his beautiful roman nose and that well-defined jawline. His eyebrows are kind of bushy but he combs them with a little spoolie brush his grandma gave him, and a few freckles appear all over his face when summer arrives and sun touches his face. He’s got veiny (cold) hands.

Fashion sense: Matías really likes layering. White or back cotton shirt, button up shirt, some dress grey or black slacks and Oxford shoes are his go-to outfit for work, depending on the weather he would usually wear a cardigan or a turtleneck sweater too. He would never leave without his watch on his left wrists and he isn’t that much of a fan of jewellery. “I did a bit of reading various historical accounts a while back on the namesake of Valentines Day--St. Valentine-- an anti-war outlaw of sorts who was incarcerated and executed --and found a story of love, beheading, war, a miracle, and the blind daughter of the jailer. Here's what I found”:

We may owe our observance of Valentine's Day to the Roman celebration of Lupercalia, a festival of fertility and eroticism that honored Juno Februata, the goddess of "feverish" (febris) love. On February 15, one part of the celebration was love notes or "billets" that would be drawn to partner men and women (also same sex relations were accepted and common in ancient Rome) for feasting and frolicking.

In an effort to do away with the pagan festival, Pope Gelasius ordered a slight change in the lottery. The box would contain the names of saints. Both men and women were allowed to draw from the box, and the game was to emulate the ways of the saint they drew during the rest of the year. Needless to say, many of the young Romans were not too pleased with the rule changes.Instead of the pagan god Lupercus, the Church looked for a suitable patron saint of love to take his place. They found an appropriate choice in Valentine, who, in AD 270 had been beheaded by Emperor Claudius.

Claudius determined that single soldiers made better soldiers. So he banned marriage from his empire. But Valentine would secretly marry young couples that came to him; how he later became known as the patron saint of lovers. When Claudius found out about Valentine, he first tried to convert him to paganism. Valentine reversed the strategy, trying instead to convert Claudius. He failed and was imprisoned.

During the days that Valentine was imprisoned, he fell in love with the blind daughter of his jailer. His love for her, and his great faith, managed to miraculously heal her from her blindness before his death. 

Before he was taken to be beheaded, he signed a farewell message to her, "From your Valentine."

Perhaps it's time to wrest Valentines Day celebration of love away from business marketing around with 26 billion annual Valentines spending. Valentine’s Day can be a pressure-packed, overspending and overconsuming week. But we can also find wonderful ways to celebrate those we love-friends, family, lovers and attractions--that also include fun ways to spend time together-walks, picnics, events and maybe some DIY cards and more. Where was it said that Jason felt like it was someone else's memories he was seeing? And you'd think that Juno would treat her champion better and return all of his memories.

I lowkey have a theory that Hera/Juno was the biggest Jiper shipper since she made Piper think she and Jason were a couple and explicitly did what she did because she wanted to bring the Greek and Roman sides (her "families") togther… so she put her Roman champion with a Greek half-blood (a daughter of Love even) 👀 She didn't mess with Percy's memories the same way and let him remember one thing, Annabeth's name, but Percy was a wild card so she couldn't mess with him more than necessary.

BUT ALSO

It's possible she didn't mess with Percy's memories the same way and let him remember Annabeth because they were already together, but with Jason and Reyna, while there may have been mutual feelings between the two, they weren't in a relationship so from Juno's perspective, no harm would be done since Jason was a free man.

But if Percy was the one who remembered absolutely nothing and all Jason could remember was Reyna's name…👀

Okay thr first bit of him feeling his memories were hazy is from House of Hades (honestly the best book in HoO) where he's trying to repair the Argo after the Boread attack and trying to argue with the southern wind god <- I don't remember his name dorry it was a very self introspective chapter and I really enjoyed it bc tbh the rest of his chapters in HoO are so based around other characters instead of himself which is why ppl see him as boring bc his character was never developed !!!

Also it's less about Hera/Juno being a jiper shipper and more of her advancing her plan like from the beginning we know her chosen hero is Jason and that in the end it will come down to him Piper and Leo but if Jason had his memories properly back and not in a haze it would obviously mean he would show the romans more loyalty so he would've stayed behind in new Rome when the Argo attacked instead of fleeing with the rest of the crew bc personal loyalty is sooo important to Jason

Also Juno did not give percy his memories back he took it back himself by wagering and winning with the gorgons blood plus yeah what u said about Jason and Reyna not being a proper couple but my problem isn't that they never dated or anything it's just how their friendship was essentially just reduced to oh a girl Piper is jealous over -> Jason tries to tell her Reyna is not that important to him LIKE you've got to be joking

Also I think of roles reversed HoO au soo often ....
