Everyone seems to hate on Jurassic World Dominion, but let me tell you why i think it was a good movie:

(Spoiler Warning!)

First of all lets just start saying it was NOT that Bad as everyone seems to think. The overload, the many side plots, sure, that was not good. But lets focus on the things that made the movie good (in my unrequired opinion):

- First of all; the cinemagratophy. Chefs kiss. Amazing Shots, amazing scenery, amazing Pictures i could Look at for hours.

-The parallels; this movie gave us so many nostalgic Jurassic Park parallels. The dinosaurs (dilophosaurus), the dialogs, the costumes and much more. Which also leads to my next point.

-nostalgia; probably the main reason why this movie was good! Hit right in the feels to see the golden trio back for their last adventure. They definetly carried the movie with their presence and dynamic.

-acting; this might be where opinions will part but i was satisfied. In my opinion it improved a lot to the other movies. I also was positively surprised by Isabella Sermons Performance!

-the dinosaurs; this is my main point why JW3 was a great movie. Imo its not about the Park feeling, the corrupt gene technology and whatever they want to make a storyline. The dinosaurs will always be the heart of these movies and damn my heart was happy! We got to see so many different dinosaurs in a natural (not fenced!!) habitat and it was everything. New, refreshing yet scary dinosaurs along with the old favorites Like Blue and Rexy was just perfect.

-the critical perspective: i enjoyed how they built up the triology to the extreme outcome where corporations abuse the power of gene technology. It had its climax in the last movie and showed how bad capitalism and gene technology work together. I liked these hinted or shown moments of critics to our existing system that believes in profit, not humanity!

-my last point: how it ended. I know many people wished for more scenes about how the dinosaurs would have affected our everyday Life and how it Changed the world. But what they did was very clever: they gave us enough scenes/shots to figure it out on our own, without being unhappy about an forced, maybe even dramatic ending. We can take the end however we want to imagine a world full of dinosaurs now.

I can understand why movie critics want to tear JW3 apart so badly but from the heart of a Dino nerd and Fan of the old and new triology, this movie made me happy and it deserves some fucking postive recognition!

If nothing else, Jurassic World: Dominion fixed the biggest mistake of the whole franchise by finally giving Ellie and Alan their happy ending, so I will stan it forever for that reason alone.

Ok I have some thoughts about Jurassic World because I watched it last night and have not stopped thinking about it (NOT in a good way)

SPOILERS AHEAD ******

At the beginning of the film Claire rescued the dinosaur from the breeding place… that was never talked about again…. Where did it go??? Where did she put it???

Owen just caught that dinosaur too??? Why??? Where did it go? Does he work for Biosyn because they were the only place taking them right???

Maisy straight off flipping the scientist guy off was SO funny for what?? Who taught her that she was raised in a mansion and has spoken to no one for YEARS apparently

They put in a Dinosaur with long ass Maddie from euphoria nails that slapped that goat thing for no reason?? It didn’t even eat it???

That CEO guy wore his f**king glasses on top of his eyebrows and no one batted an eye

The CEO guy also decided that ITALY in f**king EUROPE was the best place for a dinosaur sanctuary??

Ok so Claire got ejected out of the plane and ended up in a tropical rainforest and went under the water in nothing but a flannel and was fine, meanwhile Chris Pratt and other lady crash landed in a SNOWY MOUNTAIN and he literally went under ice water and was fine??

LAURA DERN HAD HER BANGS COMING OUT OF THE STERILE PROTECTION SUIT AND THOUGHT THAT WASN’T OBVIOUS LMAO BYEEEE

They also walked to Claire in the same day even though they were STILL FLYING after she was ejected

They RAN out of time in the film because you’re telling me clone girl and the og’s rolled down the hill in the car and were in the same location as Claire and Owen???

Also they had EIGHT people behind the car hiding from the T Rex BYE

Black Market lady just grew a conscious out of no where and decided to help and they bought another plane at the end of the movie???? For what??? To go back to what she was doing??

Someone explain what Chris Pratt was doing this whole film

and CLAIRE DEARING????

She was a CEO girlboss in the first film and now she’s an assassins creed character? Like wouldn’t it made more sense for her to be working for Biosyn at the start and realise they are shady instead of making her into black widow?? JW1 Claire and JW3 Claire are simply not the same character.

The whole movie was about a locust plague the dinosaurs were just there????

There was NO ending???

Like the breeders are still going, the locust with a backpack did what?? Don’t they need to breed first?, WHO GAVE THE DINOSAURS PERMISSION TO GET ALONG WITH THE ANIMALS IN THE END??? WHO????? HOW DID THEY COMMUNICATE WITH THEM??? THEY WERE ATTACKING EACH OTHER AT THE START

ALSO THE F**KING CLONE STORYLINE

They literally created a pothole for themselves because they could have just stuck to the grandpa wanting to clone his daughter but no…

Charlotte wanted a baby so she CLONED AND BIRTHED HERSELF???

AND THEN SHE FOUND OUT SHE HAD A GENETIC MUTATION. AND FIXED MAISY. BUT DID. NOT. FIX. HERSELF?!?!??!?!?

WHHYYYYYYYYYY

Do you think Bryce Dallas Howard ever took a moment when filming and thought well actually no I am Bryce Dallas Howard and I am also Ron Howard’s daughter I might try and protect that legacy

All that being said I did CRY laugh (literally) for about 70% of the film because I couldn't believe what I was watching so it’s not all bad news.

Soooooo I’m kind of obsessed with them???

Just a little, it’s not a big deal, I just spent a few hours reworking my phone layout so I could stare at them all day. It’s fine.

These promo shots of the three of them? Sam and Jeff hugging Laura. Sam looking like he’s about to kneel before his queen (we stan). Laura’s arm resting on Sam’s shoulder. Absolute perfection, I cannot get over them.

Throwback to JP because they were precious children, Ellie is a badass feminist and I would die for Grantler. Also if Laura Dern ever looked at me like that, I’d combust on the spot.
