#fluff binges !!! #I've missed out this one and the one from last week that I'll watch once I settle my work for tonight--mainly due from a whirlwind on my en #even if it were just for two weeks I missed these sillies sm 🥺🥺🥺 #Diana was finna gonna murder that man you gotta respect that #I think I saw online that not that many people liked this episode because of the main concern that Friede usually saves the day #I do get that though I actually really enjoyed this episode because I think it's one of Roy's best battles (aside from the top one which wa #--the confrontation with the explorers in Diana's hideout) #he got a couple hits in and even thought to send in Wattrel when he realized that he'd get an advantage up in the air which was so so good #the kiddos mainly fumbled this time 'round because they forgot about the foongus/didn't have another mon to counter it #(maybe Hatena could've countered but Liko still needs to learn How to use her in battles--she does want to help though !!! with how she #--moved that shovel on her own - which I thought was a nice lil indicator of a possible battle highlighting her in the future) #I loooved that moment at the end with Diana showing the dude his true self through Bronzor's reflection that was actually very sweet #so yeah it's a simple ep but an enjoyable one - I think people gotta chill with constantly wanting peak sdkjfskndjfs #loads of Horizons content are focused on character moments and a slice of life feeling to everything which is something I love personally #this is a nice breather after the insanity of the last arc methinks hehe #anipoke #pokeani #pokemon horizons #diana pokemon #arcanine

Does anyone else ever think about how Damian might have had a semblance of a normal childhood if Dick had just like chosen not to relinquish guardianship of him? Because, I think about it a lot actually.

Like I know why he did but what if he didn't? Like what if Dick and Barbara raised him together? Like what then? Sure, it would be awkward because your bio-dad would also technically be your granddad and your father would also be your brother, but overall I think it would have been better for Damian.

LESSON: What was the first important life lesson your OC learned? How did they learn it? Was it a kind lesson or a difficult one? Do they still remember it now, or has their worldview changed?

MINAH — ooooooh I'm not really sure. I think probably it had something to do with power—who has it, how it can be used, that sort of thing. at the time it seemed a pretty simple and straightforward thing. she didn't really get the full scope of the lesson (about the abuse and misuse of power) until she left home. it was one thing to know some people were more powerful than others; it was another thing to be on the short end of that stick. it was a hard thing to learn, but she's constantly finding it proven and reproven (maybe some time with riya will finally change her mind #notallnobles) DAI — the sentiment of "you have to look out for those who can't look out for themselves" was baked into the rebellion from the battlefield to the medic's tent to the belief at the core of the uprising (as far as daichi understood it) and he 100% internalized it before he even realized that was what he was doing. there were some other things he learned around the same time (certain types of magic are bad, certain kinds of people are good) that he's unlearned and questioned since then, but the protectiveness is baked into who he is as a person at this point

GIFT: What was the first important gift your OC remembers receiving? Who was it from, and what was the occasion? Do they still have it?

MINAH — A necklace or some other piece of jewelry she got as a birthday present from her parents in her mid teens. it was a family heirloom and a sign that she was considered grown up enough to start participating in the family business. she pawned it when she left home; it was the last time she had any significant money to spend until she joined the troupe DAI — one of the rebellion leaders gave him a symbol of pelor during the war. he can't quite remember when or why—some token of gratitude, he thinks—but he kept it. it's his holy symbol now

MOUNTAINS: What was the first time your OC saw a mountain range? What was that like for them? If they've never seen mountains, do they want to?

MINAH — [looks up a map of thedas] she would have been really young. there are mountains all over the marches—the vimmarks to the south and the range around the minanter river and the hundred pillars to the north. I don't think she really remembers the first time she saw them; they've kind of always been there. she likes looking at them (they remind her of the good parts of home) but mountain travel is a fuckin' bitch. DAI — also grew up in the mountains and doesn't remember ever not being surrounded by them. airedon is a mountain country, and all that rock and stone is his birthplace. he loves the way the earth rises up to meet the sky—it's kinda who he is as a person. on the other hand, the first time he saw an open plain it blew his sweet little mind.

ya'll i got a practicum!!!!!!!

#out. #cancer mention / #sibling death mention / #i haven't really spoken about this to anyone other than laura and dax but my sister passed away at the beginning of may and we found out #literally two days later that my mom most likely has lung cancer #so it's been probably the hardest couple months of my life and i've been just WRECKED and i thought about dropping out more than once #because i was in such a low place mentally where just. Nothing Mattered and I Didn't Care #but i was just accepted to this amazing placement where i get to work with kids in foster care and foster families and it just feels so #right and i'm just having a Crying Moment because everything has been SO much but i'm so profoundly grateful and EXCITED and i haven't been #able to really feel that in awhile Because of Everything #it's really everything i've wanted as someone who really wants to work with kiddos specifically kiddos in care #plus it's seven minutes away from home which was a big concern given i don't know what's going to happen with my mom going forward and i'm #her primary caregiver (she's 89 besides Everything) #funnily enough literally right next door to my sister's church which like. i'm not religious (big christian family don't practice not into #it you know) but it was a place she loved and that feels nice #ANYWAY THIS WAS A RAMBLE but i'm just feeling a lot of things and wanted to put them down somewhere #now that i've gotten a placement and i have that stress off my shoulders i would love to be around more #grief / #death / #depression /

#ignore my five minute scribbles but. it is very much the key wives #ash rambles 💚 #also I forgot ash's armor but shhh. her design is pretty cool (if i do say so herself) #the main attraction is her long red coat! her and her best friend (eventually wife) are the red/blue couple #she really loves her coat! it was a gift from her adoptive dad! e.raqus! #in her first appearance she only wears one glove on her right hand #but she gets some very nasty burns on her hands while trying to save her best friend #(she fails. it really fucks her up. losing her bffs and her dad for a decade. shes all alone.) #so she has black bandages on her hands in all her appearances after b.irth b.y s.leep #it's not that the wounds havent healed—it's that she doesnt want to be reminded of how weak she is. how much of a failure she is #just a pathetic little girl who didnt deserve her title of Master anymore. she's very sad for that decade. it's bad. #eventually when she does reunite with her best friend shes scared to take the bandages off. a.qua shouldnt have to see that side of her... #a.qua tells her that theyve been best friends since they were kids. theres nothing to hide. #it's not until a.qua sees those hand scars that they begin to date. theyre childhood sweethearts! theyre very cute together!!! so gay!! #i love her sooo much! theyve got a lot of baggage with a.qua being trapped in the Realm of Darkness for a decade and Ash being all alone and #struggling with a horrible case of survivor's guilt but. they make it work. they always have ever since they were little kids. #i really like my k.h s/i!!! hope you like her too hehe! also her k.eyblade is green and red and silver and named Starfire #but yeah. red/blue couples for the win! especially when theyre a.qua/ash- #a.qua gets down on one knee a couple yrs after k.h3 and they get married a wee bit after that #their kiddo is super cool too! name is violet (she/they) and they're the coolest key kid on the block hehe! #anyways yeah. good morning-
