I probably will have more to say on this but I do find it extremely fascinating how Rose is seen as a bad person for not listening to the Doctor when he tells her going between dimensions would cause the universe to collapse but Donna is seen as so empathetic and kind when the same thing happens in Pompeii.

Ok but really- why is Adrien so famous in the miraculous universe??

He’s literally just a child/teen model. Like yeah he’s the son of famous and renown fashion designer, but do those things together really explain why this kid has fans swarming and chasing him whenever they get the chance, and even recognition internationally? (Like when Ladybug said the hat she made was from a Brazilian fan club- for a 5th name’s day of all things- that was perfectly reasonable to him.)

And yeah, he gets into things like voice acting later on, but he just started out as the son of s famous guy who modeled for his father’s company. I’m also pretty sure he only got those roles bc he was already famous. Even Marinette, being a huge fan of Gabriel because of her love of fashion, only thought Adrien was familiar looking when she first met him (she had to look him up just to know the connection).

(Granted, she does fall into that creepy obsessive stalker mode later, but I’m not making this post to talk about bad character writing.)

Obviously, people have always had crushes on and gone crazy over public figures, but I don’t really see how a teen clothing model from France could get this much global attention and devotion?

…then again, a kids weather girl competition also got a massive amount attention and fans, so I guess obsessing over children (unfortunately and creepily) a normal occurrence in this universe. Not to mention how people later treat Adrien and Kagami’s “relationship” on the Alliance rings.

my brain wrote such a fun little book of poetry by a beetle in today's dream, like damn. i didn't know i had it in me. the beetle itself was absolutely stellar too

Maybe it's the fact that I've had mine for THREE FUCKING WEEKS but I'm getting real sick of people acting like TLOU is weird for including periods.
