weirdly specific dghda headcanons:

todd and farah enjoy playing video games together and actually find it to be a great way to bond and get closer. they’re both especially fond of the game ‘A Way Out’. dirk isnt really too keen on the types of games they play, but every so often all three of them will attempt ‘Overcooked 2’ (“DIRK!!! THE BURGERS ARE ON FIRE!!!”)

tina and farah like travelling and going on road trips as dates because it combines activities that they both enjoy.

the rowdies cut each others hair. this leads to a lot more freedom on style choice and has led to some very awesome hairstyles

the agency has a whiteboard tracking the amount of weeks spent where someone hasnt needed to go to the hospital. if it reaches a certain number they get to go out for drinks to celebrate. farah introduced the idea to discourage people (dirk) from being too reckless.

todd does mini concerts for his friends

shopping trips become a weekly event for the agency. sometimes its to stock up on groceries, and sometimes its because dirk has the sudden urge to buy mop slippers at 11pm (“i really cant explain it todd. must be a hunch from the universe.”)

dirk finds deep pressure calming and todd and farah have become good at recognising his signs of being overwhelmed, so are always ready to give him an extra strong hug if needed.

“I never thanked you,” Alonzo mutters to the wind, pushing the cool damp of his nose between the spaces of Munkustrap's ribs. The larger tomcat has not moved since sprawling beside him a half hour ago; more's the pity, Munkustrap thinks, amused, as his self imposed "break" which he had been hoping would turn into a nap (but the never ending turning cogs of his mind had very quickly vetoed that idea) was only meant to be ten minutes or so.

Munkustrap is hesitant to touch without permission, but he finds an opportunity such as this rare enough as is, and Alonzo hardly seems to mind the gentle pull of claws through the fur of his back. If anything, he is rewarded with a firmer pressure against his side, the softest beginnings of a purr rattling the cage of his heart. He is tempted to say nothing - to allow Alonzo to conclude the drifting of his thought until he reached shore - but if he had learned anything from their short time in one another's company, it's that oftentimes Alonzo needed a buoy thrown his way to keep the rare emotional displays from drowning. “Thanked me? For what?”

“I’m not sure," he answers, muffled and quiet. "If it weren't for you, well...for saving me, I guess.” Alonzo pretends to yawn, punctuating the statement with an attempt at frivolity; as though the promptness of his answer did not suggest he hadn't been working the courage up to say it for perhaps longer than they had been laying there.

He sits up, balanced on the cross of his forearms so they are near nose to nose. Munkustrap pauses, claw catching in the beginnings of a mat. Alonzo doesn't even flinch.

"So...thank you."

Suddenly, his heart is full. It is full and near bursting; he can hardly breathe. Dozens upon dozens of things he could say - should say - gather at the tip of his tongue, but none seem right. None seem to convey exactly the feeling bubbling within him, hotter and hotter until adoration threatens to pour from him like a whistling steam cloud. It only burns steady in his chest.

“Nothing so becomes a man as modest stillness and humility,” Munkustrap teases instead, settling on his stories and poets in that odd, shy way of his. Strange how often he seemed so much larger than life, yet in moments like these he shrunk and wilted. The larger tomcat wrinkles his nose, confused, but before he can open his mouth to object, Munkustrap hastily continues: “I think you did that all on your own.”

They are quiet a moment, staring back and forth in a single, unbroken loop. Munkustrap counts the stars - blinking and shifting in their shapes - reflected in the black of Alonzo's eyes.

The same eyes he eventually rolls, sclera glowing pale in the steady dropping of the moon instead. 

“You’re so weird, Munk," he sighs, but Munkustrap can hear how pleased he is - how embarrassed; and when he kisses him, whiskers, teeth and all, the kettle boils over.

I think this is a topic which actually is on a lot of minds throughout the fandom - especially since the chicken coat supposedly found his place for retirement in the Rammstein museum. As it should, it really did a good job and looks like it needs time to rest 👀

I agree with you that new outfits and styles for the whole band would be nice, but I think that either some parts of their wardrobe will be overhauled or maybe some outfits make a come back, which weren't used much or were worn a longer time ago (that's just wishful thinking on my part I guess). I'm especially thinking about the following (plus incudling some thoughts what would fit some of them concerning new outfits, at least imho):

Schneider's really comfortable looking, kind of yoga-suit from this year. He looks so good and relaxed in it, would be nice to see it again 🤍 Anything more lose-fitting or maybe some kind of cape would be really cool to see on him.

Paul's red snake suit (worn in 2019 I think), I really liked the color shade of it and the matching boots! In general would just wish for a little bit more color on him next year - maybe red or something completely different, just something else than the grey suit would be neat.

Regarding Olli, I just really wish for anything which makes him more visible on stage - please no more all black outfits and makeup 🙏 The stage make up from 2022 was absolutely amazing and so unique (thanks to @wizzardclown who reminded me of this!):

With Flake, I really want to see something other than a sparkly suit on him. I know it's his signature look currently and for the last few years, but this guy deserves a different look I think. Maybe something like the various medical scrubs he wore, I really dig this look:

But make it more refined and whimsical. (Funnily enough, even Willy Wonka popped into my head when I thought about potential Flake outfits, please don't ask me what's happening in my brain again)

I'm not the biggest fan of Till's outfits in general, but I liked the style and cut of the snake suit very much! But please, another material would be nice.

My favourite outift of Till will always be the one from Völkerball, it's really unmatched and fits him quite well.

Now, for Richard I have three very defined wishes.

1. The most realistic wish probably: I DEMAND that the vampire coat HAS to stay. This outfit keeps me alive, is the air that I breath and how he lives rent free in my head:

sooo i think about classpect a lot still because Special Interest and here's a summary of my general thoughts on it.

things a classpect can be:

a role you are Destined to play in the game

a role you are Destined to play In General

a role you are Forced to play

a role that is simultaneously determined For you and By you, due to the nature of paradox space, branching timelines, and the restrictions of a linear perception of time

a completely arbitrary title based on ultimately random factors

a Description of a narrative arc

an Assignment of a narrative arc

a description of your cool powers

the result of a literal/metaphorical/metaphysical personality quiz

a title a real life person gives themselves for funsies ;)

all of the above

none of the above

i feel like a lot of people either 1) generally agree with the popular fandom consensus and don't look beyond that or 2) overcompensate by trying to have The True And Correct Take. however, there is a crucial thing being overlooked with both of those viewpoints which is that you can do whatever you want! forever!! :3

i (mainly) use classpect-as-narrative-arc. this is neither Correct nor Incorrect! the same is true of literally any other theory, by nature of it being a Theory. that is ok! i think everyone should generally do what they find most fun/most interesting/most helpful for their story/creation.

i do also think that it's worth keeping an open mind and taking the time to consider different viewponts, but that doesn't mean your own has to change. it just means you should look out for new ideas so that you don't miss any that you think are cool! sometimes there's ideas that you could totally have fun with and incorporate into your system if you just considered it for a second, and realized that it is kind of an awesome concept.

but the most important thing will always be HAVING FUN, like in a general sense ^-^ for example, i use classpect-as-arc in most of my homestuck-adjacent stories, but i have some other ones where i go for classpect-as-forced-role instead because of the themes i want to explore there. and there are a couple of settings i've created where classpects are nothing but powersets, and are irrelevant to the plot outside of that. i think this kind of mixing and matching is a good approach that keeps you from getting locked into one way of thinking! plus it means you get to play around a lot more.

if your goal is only to analyze the canon text, you might not be so interested in the less canon-compliant takes. that's ok too! but until we get actual confirmation on Any of these theories (which might never happen -n-) it's going to be really up in the air, which i'm... honestly kind of glad for at this point? part of me isn't entirely convinced that hussie even had a single definitive answer in mind, which wouldn't be that surprising really, though one may have been decided on after the fact. or maybe there's some Super Secret Truth that existed all along and just hasn't been revealed to us!

either way, use the concept of classpects however you want, because no one can stop you!!!! >:3 you are the artist, it is you! write and draw what inspires you! and support other people who do the same!! maybe even COLLABORATE so you can make BIGGER COOLER THINGS >:D
