Helluva Rewrite: Moxxie

A big thing with Moxxie was just me wanting him to not look like a butler. I don’t know what it is with Viv and men in suits, but I'm not a fan. To keep his vest from blending into his pants, I untucked a bit of his undershirt. I want each member of IMP to stand out visually from one another (because all imps literally look related to some degree lol) so I gave Moxxie green in his color palette to contrast the orangish red tone I gave his skin. I also think green eyes will help him stand out very nicely from the group. Instead of striped I put gold rings on his tail and gave him a couple rings on his fingers because greed and gold. Since Viv loves bowties, I let Mox keep his but made it droopy because I think it’s cuter. Originally, I was going to keep his coattails, but I feel like with the shape of his legs it just muddies his silhouette.

With Moxxie there isn’t much about his character I have to gripe about or want to change. He’s a skilled gunman with knowledge of the subject and history of guns. Cool, now for that, I’m working in his greed traits and decided that he outright hoards guns (since viv wants to claim imps hoard things). Moxxie has a vast collection and is always keeping them nice and spiffy.

Now one thing I don’t like about Moxxie is his insecurity. Moreso the fact that it’s constantly being played up, like in Unhappy Campers where he’s like a crotchety old woman going through menopause because his wife is more popular than him. At that point it’s just stupid for the sake of drama. Since I made Millie the insecure one, I’m going to play up Moxxie’s straight man status.

Moxxie is going to be the level headed cool sniper type I suppose. He’s not going to be as expression as Millie, the blue oni to her red in a sense. I think the comedy of that could be when something does make him lose his composure (I think I'll draw up a redone scene as an example) like Millie’s parents outright disliking him or Striker singing about how he sucks and should go fuck himself. I like the idea that because of his childhood as the son of an abusive mob boss father he’s learned to shove bad feelings down rather than express them outright. This doesn’t mean I want him to be a stone faced rock. No, I mostly just want him to express surface level exasperation and frustration with Blitzø’s antics (like his big “WHAT?” when Blitz mentions he hired Strikker)

So an example of this could be Striker’s song. After he tells Moxxie to go fuck himself, a close shot of Moxxie’s face shows it twitching. He adjusts his glasses, stands up, and excuses himself. (Millie recognizes that this is bad because she knows him and follows) But she loses him in Striker’s fangirl crowd. Moxxie will be visibly upset as he climbs the stairs before hearing Millie calling for him and regaining his composure – until he notices the glow coming from Striker’s room that catches his attention.

So I don’t want this Moxxie to be a straight-faced ass, just a more composed character.

Back to his insecurity real quick! Mozzie is a trained assassin but his is not physically strong enough to fight hand to hand. This is a weak spot for him because his father constantly shat all over him growing up and would literally smack him around and Moxxie was (in his own mind) too physically weak to stop it from happening.

As to how he met Blitzo... well in this I don’t want the bs jail in hell bit because there has been no justifiable ass pulls by Viv or the team. Idk I'm having trouble. Maybe they met through Millie? Like Moxxie meets Millie doing something and is like ‘holy shit I love this chick fuck you dad I'm out.’

Idk that’s what I'm going with I'll fix it later this took way too long to do and i'll still gotta do Blitzo and Stolas and maybe the other characters and then maybe rework season one idk i'll focus on just doing Blitzo and reworking my Loona again

After breakfast, you give Dustin a ride until you arrive to a neighborhood that is most definitely not Lucas Sinclair’s like he told you it would be. You turn to stare at your brother before you actually unlock the door, confused.

“Where are we?”

Dustin looks at you with his best innocent smile. “I told you. Lucas’s.”

“Okay, you might lie to me whenever you want, just not to my actual face, Dustin.” You roll your eyes, and he mirrors you. “Seriously, why did you make me come all the way down here?”

“Why do you care?”

“I know we’re doing this to get mom off our backs, but there is a killer on the loose,” you say. “So, pardon me if I’m also a little wary about dropping you off at unknown locations, or whatever.”

“Fine,” Dustin sighs. “I’m here to see Max and Steve.”

“Steve?”

“Harrington.”

You blink at him. “Fucking Steve Harrington?”

“See?” Dustin rolls his eyes again. “This is why I didn’t tell you! You are extremely uncool about Steve, you know.”

“I’m not!” You try not to dwell about how defensive you sound, even to yourself. “I’m extremely cool about him. I’m extremely cool about the fact you hang out with that douchebag with stupid hair.”

“He’s not a douchebag! I don’t get why you hate him so much.”

Because you remember him and his friends making fun of you all throughout High School, his sneering and stupid stares. Like your brother, you’d never fit in— you never liked going to parties or drinking and you never made an effort to be liked by him and his group of popular dorks, instead you spent most of your days in the library, reading, hiding from Steve and his friends. Whatever honorable things Dustin saw in Steve Harrington you think he might have imagined them.

Now, in your last year of High School and with Steve becoming a social pariah, you can’t hide the fact that you still dislike Steve was much as you did back when he was still King Steve. Steve, for however much Dustin insists that he’s changed, upon first meeting you had tried to sweet talk you as if he didn’t know who you were. And you had barely kept it together enough to tell him to fuck off. Ever since then, you and Steve Harrington had hated each other’s guts. Your mutual dislike of each other is not lost on Dustin, who continues to mostly ignore it and tiptoe around it as best as he can.

“He’s not not a douchebag,” You murmur. “Why is he hanging out with two fourteen year olds during spring break? Isn’t the barf bag, like, supposed to be in college, going to frat parties, having a life of his own?”

Dustin doesn’t appreciate the way you talk about him, clearly, but he still replies, albeit unhappily. “He’s helping me with something.”

“With what?”

Before Dustin can respond, someone knocks on Dustin’s window. You jump, surprised, but it’s just Steve and Dustin’s friend little redhead Max, looking bored and impatient. You groan and reach over Dustin’s seat to roll the window down.

“Do you mind?” You say to Steve. “We’re talking.”

“Oh, great, she’s here,” Steve says, stepping away from the door.

"First of all, Harrington," You scoff, glaring at that mop of hair with all the rage you can muster. You ignore Dustin’s groan. "I have a name. Second of all, we are talking here—”

Steve rolls his eyes. "Yeah, yeah, whatever—"

"You did not just roll your eyes at me—”

Dustin sighs. "Here they go."

“I did not roll my eyes—”

“You absolutely did!”

“There was something in my eyes.”

“That something was lies!”

“Jesus fuck,” Steve finally throws his arms up in exasperation and turns to your brother, ignoring your insults. “You done talking to your lovely sister, Henderson? We got a counselor to see.”

“What?” You frown at Dustin, irritation immediately melting into concern. “What’s he talking about?”

“Steve, shut your mouth,” Dustin glares at Steve, who shrugs and finally steps away from the car. “Nothing, (Y/N), seriously. See you later?”

“No.” You shake your head. “What does he mean a counselor? Are you seeing Ms Kelly?”

“Nothing’s wrong, I promise. It’s—” he looks like he’s scrambling to form an excuse, then his eyes lands on Max. Something flashes across her face and she speaks next.

“It’s for me.” she says, “Chrissy died in my neighborhood.”

“She’s kind of freaking out,” Dustin says, and when you finally turn to look at Max you realize how tense she is, her shoulders square, with her lips forming a straight line.

“Oh. That sucks. Hey, Max.”

“Hey,” she greets, awkwardly. It’s part of her charm, you think.

“See?” Dustin asks. “Can I go now?”

You nod, a little shaken up for some reason. Maybe Chrissy’s murder still made you feel slightly ill, and the mention of it made you feel even worse. You couldn’t imagine what Max might be going through. It didn’t help that they had found another body this morning, either.

“Ye— yeah. Sorry. I hope everything’s alright, Max.”

“Yeah,” she nods.

Dustin nods to the door. “Can you unlock the door, then?”

You wordlessly comply, and as your little brother steps out of your mom’s blue Ford Cortina, you talk to Max once again. “Ms Kelly is great help. I’m sure she’ll make you feel better. She really helped me this year, you know, she’s a great listener.”

“Yeah, I know,” Max says. “I’ve been thinking about seeing her for a while, a—actually. I’ve heard she’s well… you know… fine, or whatever.”

“Hey, there’s no shame in that,” you shrug. “Lots of people go to see Ms Kelly… Actually, now that you mention it, Fred Benson, the guy they found this morning, was seeing Ms Kelly too. And Chrissy Cunningham.”

Dustin pauses before closing the car door. “What do you mean?”

You blink, slightly confused as to why you’d even bring it up. “I’ve seen them in Ms Kelly’s office before. I’m not sure why I’m even mentioning it, sorry.”

“No, no, (Y/N), that’s…” Dustin says, then doesn’t finish. “You’ve been seeing Ms Kelly too?”

“Yeah,” you nod, a little ashamed. You think about telling Dustin about everything that’s been going on, the nightmares, the guilt— but then you glance at his friends looking expectantly at him and cower. So you don’t continue.

It’s Steve who breaks the silence. “Dustin, let’s go.”

“I’ll see you at home?” Dustin says, a little softer.

“Yeah, yeah. I was gonna go to Dinah’s near Ave Park, but do you think you’ll need a ride later?”

“Steve’s got his car,” he says. “Don’t wait up, okay?”

You nod, watching him leave.

Quick question: When and how did you start realizing that fandom tends to be hostile or anti-analysis? Was it just something that happened overtime?

i mean. have you ever made a textually-supported point contradicted by popular fanon? people seethe

but it’s also just sort of baked into what fandom is. the whole concept of ‘headcanon’ is inherently antitextual—things held to be true irrespective of the text—and the whole point of fanworks is to engage transformatively with the text. fandom is explicitly not a community oriented around textual analysis, and while analytical readings can (and do) support and enrich transformative works, they are also just not what fandom is about.

so within fandom receptivity to textual analysis is generally lukewarm and varies widely depending on how closely it happens to align with the fanon, and in my experience fandom has a particular difficulty parsing character analysis outside the blorbo framework (ie liking / disliking / personally identifying with a character).

there is in particular a tendency for analytical readings to get parsed in fandom spaces as critical of the story or the characters being discussed; for example i’ve had explicitly positive character analysis of mine (as in, posts where i directly state my appreciation for or enjoyment of the thing i’m talking about) get reblogged and tagged ‘anti-whatever’ because the thing i’m talking about is, like, a character flaw. or something bad that a character did that caused conflict in the narrative.

and i think that really gets to the heart of the, like, cultural divide between transformative fandom and analytical engagement, because in fandom spaces if you say, for instance, “yang has a hot temper she works hard to keep in check” that is generally going to be understood as a value judgment (either a positive remark on her maturity and emotional discipline or a complaint about her expressions of anger) whereas in an analytical context it’s just an observation that needs to be evaluated in terms of whether the text supports it or not.

the consequence of that is that if i write analytically about the role of anger in yang’s character arc—which is a facet of her that i personally really enjoy and think is done quite well—and if that breaks containment and travels outside of my immediate circle of followers (who presumably follow me because they like reading my analysis and who obv know what i’m about) then odds are it’ll land in front of someone who goes “UGH not ANOTHER person picking on yang for bEiNg AnGrY, she’s got good reasons to be mad when she gets mad and also she doesn’t get mad NEARLY as often as these assholes think” (which is true) (yang almost never loses her temper and she’s very quick to check herself on those occasions; and when she chooses to let it out she’s always justified)—because anger is culturally perceived as bad and the social norm in most fan spaces is that you don’t write lengthy posts focused on a character’s flaws (or ‘flaws’) unless you just think they suck.

(<- this isn’t a hypothetical btw. like i’ve gotten blocked over my yangposting being interpreted in exactly this way grbfksj)

the funny part is that while my analysis intermittently makes people SPITTING MAD, the fanfic i write (which follows from my analysis!) doesn’t. i’m sure there’s plenty of people who don’t like my fanfic, but if i write a character in a way that contradicts the popular fanon what happens is folks will comment stuff like “this is such a cool unique take on this character” brfhkg. and that’s primarily why i think it’s a cultural thing, where textual analysis—with its strict grounding in textual evidence and dismissal of ideas that can’t be supported by the text—gets people’s hackles up bc it’s a) examining the text at an emotional remove and thus hard to parse in a social environment where the primary mode of engagement is driven by emotional attachment to specific characters, and b) often perceived as telling people their headcanons are wrong, which is rude.

(sometimes headcanons ARE wrong, in the sense of being textually refuted. that is the entire point of headcanon. i think the experience of fandom is much improved by keeping this in mind. analysis is never a threat to headcanon because headcanon is supposed to be transformative. equally, headcanon is irrelevant to analysis because analysis is strictly concerned with the text.)

more broadly i just find fandom culture to be interesting in and of itself. so in addition to participating in fandom directly i also lurk a lot and pay attention to cross-fandom phenomena (e.g. migratory sapphic and slash shippers) and read discussions about fandom and that sort of thing. and i think approaching fandom from that perspective, it’s sort of a what it says on the tin situation; fandom is transformative by definition, ‘fuck canon’ is an ubiquitous meme, fanon… exists at all as a concept and is widely celebrated as superior to canon, AUs are terrifically popular, “fix-it” fics are terrifically popular, etc etc.

so i don’t think my view here is even unusual necessarily except insofar as i articulate it in a very precise (and perhaps pedantic) way. like the average person in fandom is probably aware that playing in the sandbox is different from constructing a lego set and that people in the sandbox are, as a general rule, not all that keen to make sand castles in strict accordance with the lego instructions. because it’s sand. lmao

#for the record i recognize the hypocrisy of bringing legos into the sandbox and then complaining that there’s sand #however this is my house #and the important thing is i’m having fun

I’m gonna be honest with you hun, a bunch of these answers are copy and pasted from ask with many of the same prompts. Usually I like to write new ones but 1. A hoe is tired and 2. There’s not much to say that hasn’t already been said. If you wanna send in some new letters that aight, but apparently those ones are very popular.

A- Aftercare

It’s sorta minimal to be honest. He cuddles up to you, kisses you a few times, makes sure there was no serious damage done. He really likes switching between making out and pillow talk while still in his sex-high. Speaking of high, he might pull out a joint to share. He cracks a few jokes, gulps down some booze water, maybe goes for another round, and then he passes out. If you go for a shower, he’s probably not gonna join you. He’s usually very vocal. Lots of swears thrown here and there, moans and grunts. He has a habit of smiling while he moans, it’s so cute. It’s accent is gonna get thicker if that’s even possible; Mf is speaking another language at this point. Even if he occupies his mouth on another part of your body, he’s gonna be moaning through it.

The best part is when he’s really feeling it, close to his orgasm; he goes silent. His mouth falls wide open but no noise comes out, except maybe a gasp of air.

god it so fucked up that I can’t just record a audio post of me talking and post it here but my thoughts are too intense to have to think about it and then type it out so I’m just saying it into my voice text thingy on my phone.

people who complain about Bob Dylan‘s concerts being lame don’t get Bob Dylan. I was talking about this to one of my buddies a couple weeks ago and I was saying like something something something Bob Dylan live something something something and he was like yeah but have you seen Bob Dylan live before and I was like yeah twice and it was great. I loved it and he said oh really? and I was like yeah… I know people are haters, but Bob Dylan has never promised his fans the show that they expect to see. He’s always doing the opposite of what people expect him to do. He’s never gonna play the hits. Shows for him are like the ultimate artistic expression for. It doesn’t matter if you like it. you are the one who paid to see him right. And I understand like some artists, do feel the need to give the crowd what they want because they did pay for it and that is just on a basis by basis sort of deal. I personally don’t care what their outlook on it is. They are the artist and you are the spectator. there’s a certain power dynamic in that and the artist always wins. Great art has never been made by doing what the spectator wants to see, here, experience, etc..

yeah, maybe his voice is gone. But he’s in his fucking 80s. Like what the fuck. You’re asking too much of him. Also Rough and Rowdy Ways is one of the greatest Bob Dylan albums. The sound is great. The band he has is great. The songwriting is superb, and the voice that he has now fits perfectly with the music. He is making right now. And I think it is so fun to watch him bang on the piano and for his band to just be tight and know what they’re doing. and I love how he would come out from behind the piano after every song and pose and then go back and play another song. i saw a man comfortable with what he is doing. and thats what matters.

And now that I’m just on a roll, I feel as though people who dislike Bob Dylan have a superiority complex about it even though they think that Bob Dylan fans have a superiority complex about liking Bob Dylan. every person, at least of my generation that I’ve talk to who is into him has a very personal complicated relationship with his music. It’s not just easy listening. And yeah, Boomers just like Bob Dylan because he’s Bob Dylan sometimes and dont think about it. But I feel like anyone l who goes after a Popular artistp like this just is doing it to make themselves feel cool and different. And they said that it doesn’t make them feel: different but it does. And I understand that and I think everybody has one artist that they are like I don’t get it. I’m just on another level. Like Taylor Swift. also I don’t give a fuck. There are so many layers to this artist as there is to any artist, but especially Bob Dylan where you can’t listen to one album or one song etc. and decide you don’t like it forever and write it off. he has a different sound and he evolves just like every other artist. Leave some room for potential here like it doesn’t have to sit right with you in the moment but it’s, very juvenile to be like I don’t like his voice I don’t like the harmonica, but also like you don’t have to like him even if you do listen to all the fucking albums like it doesn’t matter and it shouldn’t matter stop thinking about it. and I know everyone was talking about whoever it was who was comparing Bruce to Bob Dylan. And I don’t even care if Bruce would think that that’s a lame opinion to think he’s better than Bob. It’s never fair to compare artists to artists, the only arena where you can do that is, if you’re joking or if it’s a lighthearted conversation. I think the world we live in right now with social media, and Paris social relationships has sort of stripped away the sacredness of the art someone makes, and then decides to put out into the world. it’s so deeply entangled with their being even if it’s a silly song or even if it’s not autobiographical. Art comes from the deepest part of your soul. You wouldn’t want to compare souls. Anyways. This took up my entire 30 minute lunch break. I have to pee.

Ahhh my gosh yes!!!! If I’m gonna be honest D’Vorah is my least favorite character of all Mortal Kombat characters, but that doesn’t mean I dislike her. But on her way to escaping her prison, she got hungry and ate some berries out of desperation. Of course she wasn’t as desperate as she was whenever she was trying to escape from a giant fucking web in the middle of Outworld.

But whenever the Queen D’Vorah discovered the girl, my my.. She was so cute! Pulling on the web, crying, begging for dear life 🥰🥰❤️ Why, it made the queen almost not wanna kill her! But instead to savor each drop of blood she tastes because it’s not very often you see someone as cute as this one

Oh but in the end… She couldn’t even do that. Something compelled her to free you, but in return.. You must “stay” for a “little bit” which this sexy bug mama deserved, right?

I feel like D’Vorah wouldn’t be very good at showing expression. Bugs don’t mate for life save for cockroaches and termites, and so her need to stay with you feels more like a need the way food is a need, rather than as love. But of course that’s just the way her bug mind interprets it because whenever a bug bite you and you had a bad reaction, her way expression love was by killing it

I think it’s safe to say you’d never had lice or ticks or anything again. Weird

A lot of people around the world don’t eat bugs or scorpions or anything (me neither cause f that) but you gotta get used to it sometimes. Maybe even road kill or something like that. Idk but whenever you were so disgusted you figured you’d put your culinary skills to the test… Bug wife decided you’re gonna have your own role in the colony. To cook.

Honestly I tolerated, sometimes liked Aerith in Remake. But it seems like Rebirth will make me dislike her so so much. She seems like such a backstabber who doesn’t care about hurting her supposed friend, Tifa. She’s aware Cloud and Tifa have something going on and yet, she continues to cling to and flirt with Cloud and he lets her. It really sucks because I wanted to like the Aerti friendship, but it seems only Tifa is super duper kind while Aerith is just not. Aerith seems so selfish and unkind to me. And honestly, it makes me dislike Cloud a little too and Cloud is actually one of my favorite protagonists. But it seems unfair because Tifa has only ever loved him and she’s doing everything she can to watch out for him, because she’s knows he’s not quite right. I know they’re not together yet, and I know I’m being unfair to the poor dude with Jenova-brain, but it just doesn’t feel right to see Cloud let Aerith flirt and get so close and to stare into her eyes like that. It makes it feel like Cloud can do anything, no matter how much it’ll hurt Tifa or how wrong it is, and it’s like it’s okay because Tifa will always be there and love him anyway, kind of like a punching bag. I don’t know if I’m explaining it right. I feel like Tifa deserves so much more because she’s such a kind, beautiful soul. My heart hurts for her. I wanted Cloud to only love and look at her the way she does him, even if he’s not all there. But I guess since he’s not himself yet, he gets a free pass right? Since this is all a red herring, it’s okay whatever he does right? He can do whatever he wants with whatever girl until Tifa devotes herself to his comatose ass and helps him find his real self in the LS and then he can reveal his love for her all along. Idk man this leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I played OG, platinumed Remake, and preordered Rebirth, but this trailer kind of zapped some of my excitement. I’ll still play it, but I guess I’m not as excited, especially since it seems to be heavily Clerith, with a dash of Zerith, and we still have 3 or so years until the next part. And even then, I’m not as excited anymore either for how the rest turns out too…

It's okay, a lotta people feel the same way you do, and it's because we really hoped SE wouldn't do this to Tifa, so the letdown is huge. They're the ones who went around screaming Tifa and Aerith were best friends and showing how supportive and kind Tifa is to Aerith in ToTP and then having Aerith be all "look how cool Tifa is!!!" in her part, only to show that actually she's just another two faced back stabber trying to fuck Cloud.

I said once that Tifa has no female friends because they all wanna fuck him, and it's true. She has no friends because of Cloud. Think about how isolated she is in all the novels. The boys in Nibelheim wanna get with her, so she keeps them at arm's length. In Midgar she wants to be friends with Jessie, but she's just using her. Although she's popular around sector 7 she isn't close to anyone except Marlene, who's a literal child. Aerith is two faced. The others in the team all disperse and go home. All she has is Cloud and the kids. Then Cloud starts acting stupid and her only so called supportive adult leaves and she has nobody.

When I say Tifa deserves better, I mean Tifa deserves better.

Tifa's so strong emotionally. She never blames anyone else for her situation, even though they deserve to be blamed. She hates being alone but she carries on. She never succumbs to mental weakness or geostigma. She's a titan and SE should acknowledge that instead of treating her like shit.

But-! Brightheart rant incoming- I have come to dislike the content with her name being Lostface. Each their own, but to me it’s… idk doesn’t vibe well. Since she didn’t choose or agree to the name it was forced upon her. Same with Crookedstar and Deadfoot tbh. Other name changed I could just reason that they agreed to it or something. And tbh I’ll probably make it that Crooked and Dead agreed to the name change in my verse rather then the leader/whoever going “time to be cruel :)”

Absolutely no shade at people who do this- it’s just become tea I’m not too fond of seeing.

Ivypool and Dovewing. Tbh both of them could be black or grey. But! The idea of one of em being a Tortie was appealing and I wanted to have them look a tad different.

Ivypool I’ll follow the popular trend and call Shrike- because it’s cool (I’ll probably need to decrease the ginger on her tho).

Dovewing gets to stay the same, and I gotta be honest I used to hate her. But I feel like most dumb kids circa early 2010s hated her (and Squirrel). Which makes me cringe when I think back on it.

And also a weird fact: apparently according to some info Dove and Ivy look exactly alike except that Ivy has white patches. Which is?? Kind of a weird thought or decision because idk if that was ever stated before. But it’s what the wiki says in the trivia. Just thought it was interesting.

MAN OKAY I honestly could answer this with a good third of popular Genshin ships…but none of these are really solid dislikes, it’s just me feeling specific about how I like to see it executed & finding the way the fandom handles it is either unsatisfying, or generates an environment that kinda stresses me out NJDNCNC

To narrow it down to one I feel matches the question best I think I’m gonna go with Kokomi/Sara. It’s not really an active dislike or anything I promise I’m genuinely chilling. *insane person voice* but see I am just very stressed out with the in universe geo-politics happening in the background of this Genshin impact ship

I MEAN THAT IN A VERY SILLY WAY. but also I do have a genuine elaboration on what i mean which is like…how do I say this.

I really like Watasumi Island and find their existence + circumstances as a nation really interesting, especially regarding their dynamic with the Shogunate—it’s like the one part of inazuman politics that really catches my interest. But see the way I took the way the Shogunate + Watasumi dynamic was being written was specifically that Watasumi is/was suffering from colonization/imperialism at the hands of the Shogunate. I don’t see them as equal enemies on opposing sides of a conflict I’m just kind of like. Oh my god the Shogunate tries to control their primary food sources + military and after the war u see like, Gorou helping smuggle medicine and food supplies to treat their wounded war veterans bc the Shogunate is imposing high taxes on them they can’t afford to pay. The Raiden Shogun slaughtered their deity who was kind of backed into a corner on trying to secure vital resources for his people and to this day his corpse is just sitting on her territory getting ravaged and mined for weapons !! That’s crazy! I like thinking Abt that!

While I think Inazuma suffered from the writers dropping the ball with a lot of things I am generally happy this dynamic is explored/acknowledged repeatedly and Watasumi at least to me doesn’t feel like it’s constantly written in a really meanspirited and shitty way you know. Like, in the medicine supply smuggling thing i mentioned — that’s a route in Heizhou’s hangout that ends in a conclusion that something may have severely hurt the vitality of Watasumi’s land and it’s ability to provide, but that doesn’t mean they won’t survive or all hope is lost, because theres people within Watasumi who care and embody that hope and vitality within themselves and are working hard to build stability and provide for everyone. Like idk that’s really cool and I genuinely found it a really nice narrative that really makes me root for Watasumi

But then we get to Sara & Kokomi and ppl just do not talk about this dynamic between both nations at all from what I see, despite it being really relevant to the characters and in theory the appeal of the ship? And I jusurjfucn I guess it confuses me a lot bc I remember, most recently for example on the TCG event, I was so confused seeing everyone post about their interactions for days about how it was cute they were engaging in card matches together and Sara wanted to be friends…and then I played the event myself and we get this scene where Kokomi is standing off starring out at sea alone, and she talks about how she doesn’t like how she can’t see Watasumi from here, and how that was especially agonizing to experience during the war, and then gets caught up in her memories of the war and talks about how a lot of her people are still recovering from the trauma of it, and how she’s participating in this event bc she’s anxious about wanting to build good relations between the Shogunate and Watasumi so her nation doesn’t suffer more in the future AND IM JUST…MAN

Like I do think I can see Sara & Kokomi being friends, Sara’s character feels like it’s the concept of “individual with genuinely good morals working in an oppressive system doesnt stop the damage the system causes” kind of deal BUT IDK…I get fandom experiences can very anecdotal and I’m sure there are shippers who handle this aspect of the ship but when at large it just feels like it’s filed down to a vague enemies to lovers + contrasting aesthetic girlfriends ship I guess it def leans more towards being one I’m not really into. I think it doesn’t help it strikes the specific fandom pet peeve I have where I sometimes feel ppl water down a lot of wlw ships down to just being surface level cute and I am a lesbian who likes very nuanced and complicated character dynamic exploration so I’m personally just like. Yeah idk I guess this seems rlly widely accepted fanon wise but I don’t rlly click with it at all djjcnfj while I could be interested in this dynamic being explored, just if I were doing my own take on it ik adding romantic tones wouldnt feel super necessary to make it feel more interesting to me personally yk x__x

I just feel very excitable about a lot of genshin things and Watasumi vs Shogunate related things hits that mark of interest for me…definitely not implying the shippers r doing something wrong by making silly lighthearted posts and being less interested in types of analysis I enjoy but I guess that’s the most popular ship I feel the least interested in I can think of?

EARTHSPARK IS SO GOOD, YOU GUYS. OH MY FUCKING GOD. 😩

Hello boyos, gorls, and nonbinary pals. It’s been a while since I’ve written a huge writing on this silly platform, huh? Lol.

Anyways, quick updates: I’m releasing a new video sometime this month, which is me ranting about the misogyny of the Bayverse. Fun times. Fun times. :D Also, I’ll be at TFCon LA 2023 next week for Saturday and Sunday. Feel free to come by and say hi to me. :)

Back to the review…so….the 2010s to early 2020s has been a very weird decade for Transformers. Not only for the Bayverse movies (my beloathed), but for the tv shows. While Age of Extinction is my guilty pleasure and Dark of The Moon is legitimately good, the movies are declining in popularity and quality, thus resulting in a huge reboot to fix up Bay’s mess. That resulted in Bumblebee (2018), a gem that was the light at the end of a very frustrating tunnel. Transformers Prime started strong, but then turned into a mish mash of wasted potential and became a frustrating chore to watch by the end. RID 2015 is a show that exists. Rescue Bots is great, and Academy is fine for what it is. If you read my review of BotBots before the accidental deletion, that show is pretty good. However, it’s a show where someone might gotta have to take it or leave it. In the middle of the downward spiral of the Aligned continuity and the movie universe rebuilding itself from Bayverse’s mess, Transformers Cyberverse is the true outlier. It’s so great I made an entire video about it that you can check it out in the link below. 🤭

Now, I wanted to bring this up when talking about Earthspark because ngl, I was worried about the potential likelihood of the show falling into the pittraps of the Aligned continuity in the first round. Now that I’ve watched the show, I can confidently tell you that IT’S EVEN BETTER THAN I EXPECTED. WE HAVE A FUCKING MIRACLE AT THE END OF A TURBULENT DECADE.

This show is thankfully so much amazing and cool and wholesome, JUST LIKE IT HAS NO RIGHT IN BEING THIS GOOD. True, like I always say, there is no such thing as a perfect show. This show definitely have flaws, but they’re not detriment to the show’s quality. It’s basically everything I ever want from a Transformers show, including even subversions of the Transformers formula like Cyberverse.

Let’s go on this little journey together on everything I like and dislike about the show. Spoiler warning here since this show is best experienced blind and I’m not like some people who decided it’s a good idea to not put spoilers behind a tag or filter. Don’t be like these people. Don’t spoil the show for those who cannot access it. Don’t do it. 🙂

Anyways. 3, 2, 1, Pingu.

The Good, The Bad, The Skullcruncher:

Let’s get the elephant in the room clear: the art style is…an art style that exists. It’s not for everyone and it did take me a while to warm up to it. However, over time, I’ve gotten used to it since the amazing animation and fight choreography are great enough to make up for the art style.

The school episode is meh. It’s nothing interesting of note except the Terran parts and frankly, I find the two bullies pretty annoying. However, it does deserve points for having the amazing Daran Norris back in a Transformers show. At least it is not boring, but it’s not worth noting.

The humor sometimes doesn’t land, especially since modern humor such as the iPad environment we’re in is a delicate line these days. The humor is Yeessss tier most of the time though.

I’m glad that Hashtag didn’t keep her weird accent when she first appeared. That’s a plus. 👍🏽

Bee did come across as a bit of an asshole at first, which was admittingly something I wasn’t vibing with. However, thanks to the power of good character development, I warmed up to him. However, a counterpoint is that it’s a unique subversion of how Bee is introduced from other Transformers media.

I have no idea how to feel about Mandroid. It feels like he really doesn’t have much of a significant impact on the story, since GHOST are the main antagonist and the Decepticons being more of a morally gray chaotic neutral type characters. After the end of the first part, I only have questions of where the hell is he. It’s such a shame, since he has a lot of interesting potential and he has a banger voice actor behind him. At least he came back in the finale episode for reasons I’ll get to in the positives section of this review.

Anyways…yeah, that’s all I have to talk about in terms of critiques. Let’s move onto the good stuff: EVERYTHING ELSE. 🥳

A Night of a Thousand Bumblebees:

This show gets points for referencing the Optimist Prime and Negatron meme.

The main characters are just so charming and lovable, I WILL PROTECT THEM WITH MY LIFE. The Malto family is the main human characters done right. Dot is such a badass with such an enduring friendship with Megatron, along with being a loving mom and best wife to Alex. She’s also really great disability representation, showing that even with the prosthetic leg, she’s still a badass. Speaking of Alex…this man has no right in being such a lovable dork who loves his family and having so much swag. I want that Bumblebee suit. Mo and Robbie are very likable and adorable, especially regarding to their relationship with their Terran siblings. Speaking of the Terrans, they’re just utter darlings and a joy to watch. Twitch is hyperactive and cute, Thrash has a lot of funny moments and a likable personality, Hashtag is surprisingly enjoyable considering her powers of the Internet, I would die for Jawbreaker, AND NIGHTSHADE IS THE AUTISM CREATURE. I fucking love them, not only for being already being great nonbinary representation but also has a lot of relatable quirks such as their mechanic hyperfixation and their difficulty in having social interactions with other people. And…THE SCENE WHERE THEY SAY THEY ARE THEY/THEM HAD ME SOBBING SO HARD. It’s just amazing to see the franchise that helped me out so much throughout my life validate my existence and the existence of so many others like me. ✨😭✨

LOOK AT FLUFFY EARS. SHE’S SO ADORABLE. 🥺

ELITA IS MY PINK WIFE. I FUCKING LOVE HER. SHE CAN TOP ME. ✨😩✨

Bumblebee took a while for me to warmed up to him, but he eventually becomes the Bubblewrap we all know and love. Also, his relationship with Breakdown, although brief, is so wholesome. 🥺

Other things I love is the voice acting, including the welcomed returns of Transformers alumni such as Steven Blum and Roger Craig Smith, the animation is beautiful, the fight scenes are bonkers and well choreographed, the humor is yeesss tier, and overall, the messages such as having a good relationship with your family and good teamwork. Delicious food. ✨

I really love what this show is doing with Megatron and Optimus. Their relationship is perhaps my favorite part of the show. You can definitely feel not only how close they are as fwiends, but you can see both sides of the idea they represent: what if every bot deserve second chances? I appreciate the nuance to the Autobot vs Decepticon conflict, something that is definitely built up from Cyberverse. Here, it explores in depth about the more gray and complex areas of the conflict, where neither side is right nor wrong. However, it’s a reasonable two sides of a coin story that is explained well enough to appeal to both kids and adults. I also like how Megatron and Optimus are willing to hear each other out even through their disagreements. Optimus is also very likable and adorable, being a big ol dork you cannot help but be charmed by. Now…let’s focus on Megatron now.

I thought “Decay” was my favorite episode for exploring Optimus’ and Megatron’s relationship in depth, and bitter divorce ex Soundwave…until “Warzone” came out. This Megatron manages to fix the main issue of Autobot Megatron: it makes sure that he has to work hard to earn trust in his journey of redemption. He is someone with a lot of regrets over how much destruction and devastation done to Cybertron, because of his actions. It doesn’t sugarcoat the realities of his redemption: there are people who are not gonna accept that he wants to end the war nor understand how much the war costed the Cybertronian people everything. The cherry on top of his lessons to the baby boo boos about not repeating the same mistakes the Transformers did is the presence of the flowers from the IDW. Quick summary: they represent how much lives are lost in a conflict. Just…the way it fell from the monument at the Spacebridge Memorial to Megatron gently picking it up and putting it back on it, symbolizing how much he truly changed for the better. After the fight with Shockwave, including all the heartbreaking LAYERS of the gravity of Megatron’s redemption, it concludes on a beautiful message that many people came learn from, especially in these current times. you cannot change the past, but if we learn about it, we will be able to not make those same mistakes ever again. Thus, “Warzone” is my favorite episode in the entire season. In fact, I want to dedicate an entire essay to how this series portrayed Megatron once everything is done and finished. We’ll come back to the topic soon, lads.

Also, I really love how the show is exploring the not so bright side of having bots on planet Earth. The finale episode is perhaps the episode that rivals “Warzone” for not only bringing more amazing nonbinary representation in the form of Sam (looking forward to seeing her and their relationship with Nightshade in future episodes), but for managing to tell a story of how to deal with racism (through the Terrans being treated as outsiders in the big city) without sugarcoating it and telling it in a way that kids can understand. Hashtag feels the most pain in being treated as an outsider, even with her family there to tell her that everything will be okay. Then…perhaps one of the darkest scenes of Transformers as a whole is when Mandroid took over her as an attempt to get rid of the baby boo bops and try to get Bumblebee’s parts, and feeds into her insecurities over whether or not she has the right to live on Earth. Through the use of mind tricks, he is a representation of all the disgusting ignorance and stupidity plaguing our real world right now, trying to “prove” that marginalized people, who are represented by the Terrans here, have no right to exist. However…then the Malto kids used the power of the Green Prime to reach out to Hashtag and let her know that everything will be okay. True, not everybody is going to be compassionate and understanding of people who are different from them. There are genuinely evil and hateful people who will never be negotiated with and will never understand the concept of being a decent human being. However…it doesn’t mean that you should let them get to you. You deserve the right to be yourself and live your life the way you want to live it. You are surrounded by people who love you and understand what you’re going through. You are not alone. You are good enough. In a time where we experience such amount of racism, misogyny, and homophobia in places in and out of the Transformers fandom…we need this message more than ever. We should not follow Mandroid’s hateful ideology. Instead, we should be the Maltos. Love will triumph over hate, and no matter how much the world tries to crush you, you are more than meets the eye in beautiful ways.

Conclusion: This is number three on the Transformers ranking list as of the time I am writing this. 💕

Transformers Earthspark is incredible. It has no right in getting everything so right. It’s a fantastic love letter to the Transformers franchise as a whole. Let the haters talk smack. I am confident in saying that this show is the ever rare Ultra Yesss tier 10/10.

people make these mods because some people might think, younger astarion might fit this voice or it can be a matter of people playing the game might feel a little more comfortable or have headcannons. however you play your game. mods are there so you can mod how YOU WANT. if people didn’t want the astarion mod i have then people wouldn’t have been downloaded and as of right now, it’s one of the most popular mods on nexus for him :/

but come on, people. at the end of the day. it’s a mod. you can like your astar and i can like mine. i’m not reblogging posts of the og astar and saying he looks like this or that, so why are you? if you’re gonna do it to my modded astar, why can’t i do it to your og astar? it always goes both ways.

and that goes for ANY game. mod the shit out of the game how you want and if you have a problem with how someone mods their game, block them. you don’t have to go out of your way to reblog and say nasty things in someone’s ask box or tags and then when someone wants to confront you, you wanna have messages turned off or you try to justify your inappropriate and rude actions. you didn’t have to say anything and you chose to because? why did you feel the need to say something about the way my game is modded? because you wanted to and felt the need to? where is the logic. where does that make sense.

you don’t have to be childish on the internet over a fictional game character. you’re probably an adult with a job, family, whatever, and you’re harassing someone and calling them an incel because astar doesn’t have wrinkles.

I rarely go on Twitter these days but popping in and seeing yet again more bullying towards the same person for the same shit is really upsetting and I’m just an observer. Bullying is not cute I feel like I’m 13 again when I read shit like that.

Seeing a good omens fan get bullied AGAIN for a ship OTHER people decided is father/child despite them being literally the same age as well as OPENLY hating on their art style by REPOSTING their art. But the fan is the weird one bc they like The Bad Ship that everyone else has decided is a family dynamic. Not the people who continue to harass and look at their art and point and laugh On Their Public Accounts. “They’re weird and should stop” says the person going out of their fucking way to talk about them.

Like the true and honest disconnect of calling someone weird as if that’s a criminal offense, because they like a ship you don’t. And it’s NORMAL to proudly and confidently say how much you Hate them and how they draw and how it’s fine to say all this because their fictional ship of two angels is Weird.

I’ve seen ships that would make you explode. Bullying is not normal. It’s not Justified because you don’t Like something. It’s not even an, and I hate this fucking term, an “illegal ship”. The only problem is your personal dislike of it and the fact that you’re just shitting on someone who is popular. That’s it. If this person had 78 followers you’d just block and move on. It always comes down to popularity or lies.

And it’s so fucking sad seen 16, 17, 18, 19 year olds bullying other young people like it’s a fucking trend or cool thing to do. There’s 15 people max in this fucking show and you’re going out of your way to be a jackass to a person you could just block. YOU are talking about them when you don’t have to. You’re reposting art and bringing them up and being so happy to Finally hate on them in the open bc “they’re weird so it’s fine”

It’s shitty. It’s stupid and childish but also just genuinely shitty and mean spirited. All the talk about keeping fandom safe and pole are out here HAPPILY bullying people their age or younger for a fucking fictional ship that doesn’t even meet any of the Evil Ship criteria. Shit like this is why I hesitate so much in trying to talk to people or make friends. Bullying is not boundaries and how you treat people who aren’t even doing anything says way more about you than them.

Gonna rant here about skin making

It's so discouraging!

No matter how much effort I put into it no one likes the stuff I make.

Fest entry? Maybe 1 user compliments it, but they compliment everyone's/99% of entries.

UMA for the shop? No one bats an eye and I'm lucky to have enough pre-orders to cover the blueprint cost :(

Discord is honestly making me feel worse! Even the skin/accent Discords make me feel ignored. I'll post and it's radio silence but as soon as a popular artist post something like "teehee, I've got a new idea in the works" everyone is all over them. Newbies will be getting advice left and right with or without asking for it yet when I was sharing my 1st wip accent for one of my own dragons and asking for advice about it I didn't get anything (or very little) mostly questioning wtf was going on with the eyes and at most users just saying "cool" in response. Yes I do think it looks awful! NO I don't blame others for not telling me I didn't need to leave the black lines + shadows on max but I do wish at least someone in one of the many servers I'm in pointed it out :/

Honestly, I have other art I do in my free time that I share and it doesn't make me feel bad at all!

The only advice I've ever received was "make what you'd want your dragons to wear"

and yeah... that's great, I do agree with that. Except that's what I've always done. Outside of the occasional meme stuff, which I spend all of 20 min making and don't really care about (in comparison to more serious accents that take me hours to put in the details and make look nice)

Guess what sells better -_-

Skins just feels like a very niche/guarded community. If you don't make silks, memes, or accents that are pretty much a painting on a dragon you're nearly out of luck unless you can get that glitchcore niche to love your designs.

I basically quit making skins in general + for fests despite all the ideas I had/have because I feel like no one cares about my ideas.

more positive note:

I'm very grateful to users who have helped me, or tried to, and those who genuinely like my skins. It just gets super frustrating to see things like scribbled MS paint styled meme skins to get more love than the things I make every time.

My art in general still brings me joy and I know it's good- both because I personally like it (most important part of course!) & I've had users call it underrated (so ig some must like it outside of myself too).

I hope this doesn't come off as needing attention, I don't need validation every time but every now and then would be nice, ya know?

I found the skin making groups very cliquey and overall dislike the experiences I had with them & hope others who may want to enter don't face the same experience.

The thing is, it’s not an opinion, really. The question isn’t meant to be a complaint or a rebuttal or anything. I just genuinely don’t get it! The question goes something like this.

So Charles/Klinger seems to be the one actively disliked ship in the fandom, discounting the h*nn*hawk vs p*erc*ntyre gang war and that one rabidly anti-hawnk person (lol). Most nobody has any love for the ship, because it’s stupid and OOC, of course, but mostly because it’s egregiously obviously racist and gross, which is the critique that seems most common, and to be of most importance to people.

And to be clear, for the purposes of this post I am wholly agreeing with all that! It’s distasteful and immoral and people who are into it are insane, including me. I’m not arguing against this line of thinking, I just wanted to look at its inner logic. Because when I first heard people saying this, I thought, “Yeah, makes sense, Charles is truthfully a terrible person with abhorrent opinions. Nobody watching this already unfortunately bigotry-riddled show is obligated to try and look past that! It is Always valid to hate Charles’ guts.”

But it turns out most of the fandom (I assume it must be most, given how shockingly few people here have blocked me) actually don’t hate Charles, in general. It’s the specific ship, not the character, that’s distasteful. (Not to say any Charles ship is anything resembling popular, but like with most ships, that’s just a result of the general population’s Hawkeye BJ Laser Focus Gaze. I’ve never seen anybody actively dislike these ships when they’re brought up.) And the more I think about it, the more I wonder why, because well. to put it bluntly. It’s not like someone stops being racist when they’re not actively interacting with a nonwhite person.

You know what I mean? I feel like Charles’ bigotry would be a turn off for all of our generally morally sound protagonists, not just one who happens to be personally affected by it. But it only becomes an issue when it involves Klinger. I’ve heard people say that any Charles/Klinger ship fic would obviously have to go out of its way to address Charles’ racism, but I’ve read a few Charles/Hawkeye and Charles/Donna (and Charles / other strange and varied choices too, because of course I have) fics–really, REALLY good fics, that captured the characters very nicely and are very beautifully written–and I’ve yet to find one that discusses The Bigotry In The Room with any degree of seriousness.

(Pssst this is everyone’s chance to absolutely dunk on me by sending me fics that do this if there actually are a bunch and I’ve just never read them because I would in fact LOVE to read some fics with that topic regardless of ship!)

And to be clear, that’s fine with me! I truly do not care. When I read Charles running away to Maine or romancing Ms. Parker and I don’t see his love interests stop to ask “Hey, um, so any updates on the fact that you and your whole family are eugenicists?”, it doesn’t bother me in the slightest, because I just assume that Charles has already gone through the cult deprogramming step of his character development at some point prior to this, and either the love interest in question has already confirmed this off-page, or they are making the same assumption I am. After all, at least in Hawkeye’s case, the mere act of admitting romantic interest in a Democrat from the back of beyond would necessarily imply a shift in values, right?

(Admittedly, for all we canonically know Donna could be a fashy scumlord herself, so this reasoning doesn’t wholly apply there, but it obviously does to her fanon background/personality.) (Which is adorable, by the way. Everyone go check out the collective oeuvre of AO3 user onekisstotakewithme.)

So that’s all cool! It’s just that the same thing applies for me when it comes to Charles/Klinger. If anything, it applies even more, because you can have a fic where Charles’ whole family attend his and Donna’s 2nd wedding (Everyone go check out the collective oeuvre of AO3 user onekisstotakewithme!!!) but if Charles gets with Maxwell in any capacity, his father is at the very LEAST never going to speak to him again, ever. And personally I think that is SO fun and sexy, because Charles’ father is a white supremacist and I want him to die painfully forever and ever amen. <3

I got sidetracked a few times here and I just realized I never actually asked the question, which is, TL;DR: If it’s immoral–or at least gross and nonsensical–to ship Charles/Klinger, because Charles is bigoted, shouldn’t the same also apply to shipping Charles with many other characters too, given that they should logically also have a problem with his bigotry?

For what it’s worth, I have a bit of a theory about the answer to this, all to do with the incompetent way Charles’ bigotry (and other characters’ reactions to it) are portrayed in canon and the deeper Doylist factors that I think forced the showrunners into writing it like that, but I wanted to stay strictly on the topic of fandom attitudes for now, because it may be niche and silly, but I find it interesting. And I’d love to hear other people’s thoughts on it!

are funny. i think the very first one i saw i chuckled a bit. but now it is like. every single post and i haven’t laughed at ANY of them since. and the longer this trend goes on the less funny i find it.

in psychoanalyzing myself about this (i’m avoiding a time-sensitive task, you see) i’ve come to the conclusion that what i dislike about it is the fact that, after the first few posts of that nature, any OP who is claiming to not want a ton of notes on their post is very clearly Not Actually Upset or dreading the notes or whatever and we know this for a fact because you can turn reblogs off!!! you can delete the post!!! there are ways that you could make it so that a post of yours never actually hits a significant number of reblogs in the first place. and so anyone who is saying that kind of “oh no please don’t do this to me! don’t curse me to have a lot of notes” is actually saying, like, “oh noOoOo~ please don’t give this post notes 😉😛 whatever will i dooooooo 👀😜” and so the whole post just comes across as so disingenuous.

so much of tumblr culture revolves around us sharing conversations between strangers that are funny or wild or interesting and that’s GREAT and what makes tumblr so cool!!! you can’t get that anywhere else!!!!! but the thing about it is that so much of what makes that sort of thing cool IS the authentic and genuine nature of it all - people are funny and do and say funny fucking things and that’s cool and it’s cool to see the ways that we interact and/or FAIL at interacting with one another. you see a tumblr post wherein someone references were-ralph’s pineapple gif and somebody else doesn’t get the reference and it feels genuine and fun. and then you get posts where people do their own take on the meme of the week - inserting their own fandom or hot take into the format of a current popular meme, or just taking a crack at saying something funny in a certain way. but when i see these posts that are purely and clearly people just PRETENDING to have a Situation but they’re not actually having a situation at all and in fact just wanted to get a lot of notes on a post so that more people will like their usual content so that they can get dopamine from having more notifications and interaction on their “content”, whatever that may be. and i know that we all know how a popular post CAN really nuke your notes for a while, we get it, and yes it’s fun to joke about that, especially when it happens to unsuspecting people who were used to shouting into the void that is tumblr and suddenly one day woke up to the void shouting back!!! but it’s much less fun when you have someone who is basically shouting into the void and just saying “oh noooo void, ~please~ don’t shout back at me 😏” because the reason those posts are funny in the first place is because the OP is getting fucked over (or just generally inconvenienced and surprised by a gajillion notifications) and reacting to that genuinely, and when the OP WANTED to get a bunch of notifications, they are not actually getting fucked over at all!!! they got exactly what they wanted which is far less satisfying an ending, especially when the whole premise of the joke is supposed to be “hahahaha this person wanted something to Not Happen but then it Happened 😈”

whew. okay i’m done i’m fine i’m finished ranting about this very specific pet peeve of mine. just know. if you make a post and someone tags it “investing at 20 notes for a 20k note post” or whatever. if you REALLY didn’t want to get a bunch of notes? the LAST thing you would do would be to screenshot that tag and say “don’t you dare” because you know damn well that is a recipe for a bunch of fucking notes and by doing that and formatting your post in that specific manner that you KNOW is designed to get hella notes, you are simply a poseur.

also fun fact i found out a few months back that poseur and poser are two different words!!!! isn’t that wild. i’m pretty sure they mean the same thing but it’s weird that there’s two of them and they are not just two different spellings of the same word
