SPNWIN 1x13 - Season 1 Finale Thoughts

I have avoided all spoilers, let's see how this goes!

Oh it starts with the flashback of John coming back from the army

He's just sitting there for hours apparently

"John Winchester?" HEY I KNOW THAT DEEP VOICE

John: "Sir, can I help you". He calls him sir! That must be so weird for Dean lol

OMG Dean looks like a sailor! He has a turtleneck!!!

…and he gives John the fated letter from Henry

BOBBY!?!?!?

"We're not supposed to meddle with things, idjit". Oh so it is heaven shenanigans?

I cannot deal with Dean wearing that outfit, it looks so very not him lol

"One last hunt, huh?" "One last hunt." hmmmmmmmmm

Oooh the title card is different. It gets sucked into some interdimensional thingy or something? Well, I like it.

Henry has a lead on "the guy", apparently some hunter named Joan saw him. And Mary doesn't wanna go to that one college. The future without hunting is scary.

John wears the bad red plaid!

If Mary leaves hunting, what does it mean for her and John's relationship? Will we ever find out

Carlos looking at that Dean pic again:"Whoever he is, he is ruggedly handsome" 😏 Everyone has the hots for Dean and who can blame them (gonna be awkward once they find out who he is though…)

So either Dean has to kill the Akrida (since he is "not of this earth") or Ada has to burn her soul with the crystal. Decisions, decisions.

Lata is gonna look for a way to save Ada's soul if she has to use the crystal. My girl is gonna find a way!

So Joan who knows about Dean is also dead(or whatever state they are in)? Or she is some other being. Interesting.

Wait, Joan threw Dean and the Impala through the Akrida portal??? And only John's journal is left? What's going on…

Joan is the queen ooooooh. Now it makes sense.

John, don't stop her monologue, I wanna know more about her being human once!

Joan: "Join me, OR DIE." Girl, that's no choice.

She does the finger snap and is gone. Interesting.

Y'all didn't know Lata is still in the clubhouse that just got raided by the Akrida? Bad oversight.

Lata actually attacking the queen with a knife, breaking her pacifist streak. Sadly it doesn't do anything.

Joan Hopkins lived in 1673, wanted out of hunting and that's why she turned on her own kind.

Joan: "I lost my parents, my brother, all my family to the cause. And then…I lost my William." ALRIGHT ALRIGHT ALRIGHT I SEE

So because there was always more to fight, always a new apokalypse and all, Joan decided mankind is the problem. Because they always need saving and hunters are the ones paying the price….. That's one way to look at it I guess.

The monster essence drove her mad. Don't pump yourself full of monster juice kids!

Poor Lata got posessed by the Akrida.

The Akrida were made by an "angry God" as a failsave to wipe out all existence. Yeah, that sounds like Chuck.

They can only bring Dean back from the monster world at midnight. Of course.

They really got the Impala through the portal! …but no Dean apparently. Eh, whatever we got the car that is also not of this earth. Vroom vroom bitches

Joan says she wiped out all the MOL. Wait a minute…

No, she was in the Impala for the dramatic reveal. Okay okay.

Dean: "She[Baby] kept us save. Of course, there's not a lot that can tear me apart. I'm already dead" DUN DUN DUN

Dean was stuck in the world between worlds. Like Limbo you mean

Dean was going for a drive in heaven, with a detour through the ~multiverse~. But what was he looking for?

"I was looking for my family." Yeah, we all were during that terrible excuse of a series finale…

"See, I come from a long line of hunters.I guess I was hoping somewhere out there was a earth, that has a version where my family had a shot at a happy ending." So here we have it. That ending was not a happy ending and Dean is looking for a better one.

So the Akrida were one of Chuck's last creations. Shocker.

Dean: "Now that the Akrida are gone, you can chose your own destiny. Write your own story". I wanna see that CW, give me season 2!!!

JACK!!!! OMG IT'S JACK. And Bobby again too.

Bobby: "This is all kinds of weird. Seeing Samuel witha full set of hair" LMAO

Dean is all "Sorry Jack I meddled with world. Guess I don't deserve heaven. I'm definitely not saying you should put me back on earth" lol

So Dean is gonna give other world John his own hunter's journal. THEY CAN USE THAT IN SEASON 2

Dean to Mary: " I know you think about quitting hunting. Believe me I understand. But you need to do me one favor. Keep an eye out for a yellow eyed demon" DEAN JACK SAID NO MEDDLING

He gives her The Colt!?!??! DUDE

Mary: "Your family…did you ever find a world where they had a shot at a happy ending?"

Dean looking at all of them "I think I did."

James Heffield(Hepfield? Jensen stop mumbling!). Is this some significant kind of name Dean is using?

And they are gone. Maybe we'll see them again…

Lata did find a way to restore Ada's soul. The mighty LORE strikes again.

Mary saw every possible version of herself going through the portal but she's gonna find her own path.

John: "Do me a favor?" "Anything." "No Goodbyes"

But one last kiss

John is all sad while the others talk about the next case. But look, Mary is "not leaving here without you" (sorry). She wants John to come with her. ROADTRIP

They are in the car and want some music.

Hepfield was adamant on one thing "Driver picks the music…" Ah the famous line

That was it. Finale of season 1. I really hope we get a second season! I don't want to lose these characters yet :( I'm not entirely sure what to make of the whole Dean bit. On the one hand they did give me "the finale was not a happy ending" but then it's all about blood family again and not even a tiny, subtle mention of anything Cas related. I don't want to be too disappointed, since they gave us destiel parallels again but man I just miss Cas :((( I have to think about it more.

Hello my friends! Here I'm with another meta from this series.

This time I'm gonna share with you something I discovered in this early season.

I want to say thanks to my dearest friend @agusvedder who made the gifs for this meta. Love ya gorgeous 💕

Episode 10x05 Fan Fiction was dedicated to the fans. We can see a lot of fan service, (the quote "We have work to do" as the Winchester loved cliche, but it also connects with season 15, in which we heard it again, delivering us a huge parallel with what is going on in the last season, I will talk later of this) but also, we can see Dean's reaction to the ships.

Her is Dean and the audience (mostly GA) who don't see subtext or ships, but is Rejecting it right away. Because they're brothers. And is disgusting to think they're searching for something else between them, so... Dean requested them to get away from each other.

A different reaction we can see I'm Dean )or may I say Jensen?) When Marie suggests DESTIEL ship, and explains the subtext to him.

He doesn't asked to be apart, and one little detail, the two girls were dating in real life (winking at Cockles shippers).

And the precious relevance to SUBTEXT in the show, when we are talking about Dean and Cas.

Dean will end by accepting it, and embracing it...

DEAN : Yeah, that'd have been easier. I know I have expressed some differences of opinion, regarding this particular version of Supernatural. But tonight, it is all about Marie's vision. This is Marie's Supernatural. So, I want you to get out there, and I want you to stand as close as she wants you to, and I want you to put as much sub and add text, as you possibly can. Marie's supernatural, the Fan's Supernatural, it transport me to Becky in episode 15x04. Writing her own ending and her own stories...

Marie, not accepting the end Chuck had written, she chooses to write her own ending. And that's, what I think, the huge parallel with season 15.

The Winchesters, TFW 2.0, can write their own ending. Their own destiny.

But don't forget this is a Destiel Meta, and I can't avoid the fact that while Dean was talking about subtext here, he was putting Castiel's tie upside down. That's very meaningful because... Dean knows how Cas wears his tie... And is something he had payed attention... Is part of his Castiel, and maybe something he find adorable on him.

Yes... Subtext...

Another quote that brings us to season 15 is the two girls acting like Sam and Dean, saying...

SIOBHAN!DEAN : You're right, Sammy. Out on the road. Just the two of us.

MARIE!SAM : The two of us against the world.

First episode in season 15, Dean said the same quote. So, there's a tight recalling to this episode, in which Chuck appears at the end too.

The message is... We write our own destiny and ending.

Jealous and Revenge

Now... We all laughed with this scene...

But what this means...?

If you recall the last episode from this season... Sam and Cas team up and Dean didn't know it. They were cheating on Dean. Sastiel and Destiel.

This is not the only clue among the season, and you will discover it with me though these metas.

But now... I want to talk about Castiel's speech from my previous meta : THERE'S A FEMALE ON MY CAR and Dean's puzzled and frowned face... Jealous.

Because... What happened at the beginning of episode 10x07, Girls, Girls, Girls... It has to do with that.

What I call REVENGE from Dean Winchesters feeling himself abandoned and deceived, and cheated by Castiel... Was he with a woman in his car??? What about me? Does he changed me for her?

So... Very OOC... Dean Winchester tried to hook up with a date app...

SAM: Shaylene, huh?

Dean, there are like a million messages here.

DEAN: Yeah, uh, check out her pic.

SAM: Uh...Oh. Wow. Okay.

[Camera view of phone shows a beautiful woman with dark hair in a blue dress]

Um, okay. She's hot. But...

DEAN: "But," what?

SAM: But she seems, um... Kind of...available. Like too available. "Oh, baby, whatever you want. I'm burning up just thinking about you."

Okay, if you rewatch the whole scene, Sam is mocking him, because is clear here Dean doesn't use to do this. Dean doesn't use date apps to get a woman. Then, why is he doing this?

Because he is acting now like a jiltter lover (oh, wait... Is another parallel with Human!Cas in episode 9x06 😏)

And because the subtext has to be well constructed here, it jumps to Cas and Hannah (the female in Castiel's car) doing this...

Is she "Kind of avaible. Like too avaible?"

Yes she is...

And because this season we will talk about romantic betrayal (CAS cheating on Dean with Hannah and Sam) we have a foreshadow with Hannah's vessel and the husband.

And Castiel excusing Hannah's behavior... Because...

The mission comes first DEAN WINCHESTER COMES FIRST, will echoing one of the quotes by the end of the season in which Sam, Cas and Charlie will do anything to save him from the mark, even if that means not telling him (cheating on him) FOR DEAN.

To Conclude:

Episode 5x05 brings us to season 15 and Chuck's drama. TFW must learn they can write their own destiny and ending.

Dean using a dates app is so ooc that hurts, but it has his cause on Castiel's female in his car, so Dean is absolutely acting like a jitter lover.

Foreshadowing too the Sastiel team, hiding Dean his plans to save him.

Supernatural 14x19 meta spoiler "Jack in the box"

Hello my friends, here I'm with the third part of my METAS from 14x19. First of all this is a Destiel meta, I know many of you are loosing hopes now... But I will show you this fight was predicted since this season started...

Foreshadowing the FROZEN STATUS of Destiel

So... Recalling a very very important episode from this season MINT CONDITION. Mint Condition showed us the path this season will take.. and they showed us too this image...

Those are Superman (Castiel) and Lois Lane (Dean) being frozen by the monster there. FEARS AND TOXIC BEHAVIOR Dean is having now, about Jack situation.

Remember when he choose to drink from the red mug twice? One on Mint Condition and the other in 14x14 Ouroboros. Bad decision Dean is back.

But I have more clues and foreshadow in Mint Condition... And thanks to @weirddorkylittlediana she shared this pic in our chat group with @emblue-sparks and @agusvedder and we just felt our heads blew out! I mean I was writing just the introduction of this and then...

But let's continue with Mint Condition, remember what Panthro (obviously Cas mirror) made to Stuart? Yes. He kicked his ass...

There was a fight between Panthro (Cas mirror) and Stuart (Toxic!Dean mirror).

And at the same time Stuart laid on bed... His friend was talking very fondly about him. And Dean remembered Castiel...

With the blue light in his face... Now... Please check this frame from last episode...

Dean is between two blue courtins (representing Castiel's wings) he is now who's trying to get through Cas, bc his words "You are dead to me" were a horrible way to release his anger on Castiel. But now is Castiel who's angry, and very angry, with Dean. He is walking before him, with a hospitalized guy in green (Dean mirror here as I said in my second meta), yes, now Cas is getting so mad at Dean... Frozen Destiel, break up of Destiel.

Foreshadowing the fight and the lovers separation

And everyone in the fandom talking about WHY DIDN'T THEY HUG???? WHY WE DIDN'T HAVE A HUG?

Well... Now in 14x19 and almost finishing the season, I can answer that... Beacuse it was a foreshadow too. A foreshadow of what we are seeing now, this fight.

And Jack hugged Dean, and then in Mint Condition Dean didn't wanted to come out from his room, and one of the excuses he gave was... Because CAS wasn't there... Castiel was with Jack. And he wasn't there with him. Yes... Like now. I made a crack post here about how they were having a crisis in their 10th anniversary, and that doesn't sound so crack right now, isn't??

And Dean remembering Castiel almost with melancholy here in 14x07

So my friends...everything has sense now... All the Destiel Metas I wrote... Now they confluencing in this season 14 ending...

And the fight is because of Jack. Castiel will take care of the kid with his life, because he promised that to Kelly...

I made a promise!!!

The thing that separates them is THE PROMISE.

So Cas is trying to find another way to save Jack and Dean wants to kill the "monster" bc he choose the red mug.

That's, my friends, is the break up and the lovers separation... For now.

"You love me but in your heart there's something before me"

These are part of the lyrics from the end of 14x06 Optimism, the meta about it is here. In this meta I predicted the lovers separation we are seeing now. The cause is the different way to try to solve Jack's situation. The promise.

But Dean saying "Panthro is mine" in Mint Condition, is showing us he is trying to get close to CAS again, after the words he said to him... But now, as I said, Cas is mad at him.

So... Dean trying to get close to CAS... He approached Castiel, very close, as he does always, maybe trying to rub his hand as he was doing till now (the moves).

But Castiel immediately looked at him mad like "Are you serious? We are in different pages now."

Look how Castiel decided to move away from Dean, saying "PUNISHED BY HEAVEN" And then we had this one...

Yes... At the same time. Avoidance. Negation. No hands here. Not now. One in front, the other looking backwards.

Things are not ok. Destiel break up again.

And this frame here from next episode...

Just emphasizes more this thing about the break up, the good one is Sam is Castiel's side now, and Dean is alone with his plan... Another foreshadow I predicted (damn I'm sounded like a crazy fortune teller here...)

But I said Dean will be stay alone somehow in this season.... Aaaaand here you have the thing. Dean is alone with this plan.

To conclude

The fight, the break up and the lovers separation was foreshadowed since episode 14x03 when Dean and Castiel didn't hug, in 14x04 with the Panthro as Castiel mirror/Stuart as Toxic!Dean mirror. In 14x06 with Dean's POV about love and 14x11 with Mary and Donna (both Dean's mirror) talking about their break up and 14x15 with Castiel's POV showing us the promise is first.

So this fight and angst shouldn't be a surprise for us, Destiel shippers... Having faith in the other foreshadow THE TALK and my hands foreshadow metas here and here.

So hey! Let's see what happens. I think season 15 will be very interesting for Destiel, I'm looking forward for a Dean trying to redeem himself with CAS by rescuing him from the Empty or doing anything to kill the Empty and break the deal.
