While we're all talking about both the WGA/SAG strikes and Barbenheimer, I hope everyone realises that the entire reason this exists is because Christopher Nolan stood up to Warner Bros against pushing their entire cinematic slate onto streaming in 2021, by taking his next film to another studio.

Then, as an act of petty revenge, they decided to deliberately move their single biggest movie of 2023 (and arguably WB's biggest non-Batman/Harry Potter movie in DECADES) directly onto his release date.

So no, the Barbie Marketing isn't "so good it helped another movie". The Barbie Marketing Machine was specifically designed to get back at someone who dared to stand up against WB executives.

It was a calculated move of malice by soulless corporate fuckeroonies.

Thinking many many thoughts about how Jean was Riko's partner for a YEAR and was still rooming with Goon #3. Because that was how unwilling Riko was to let go of Kevin. And how that implies that Jean was placed as his partner both because of the practicality of Kevin being gone AND as a punishment for letting him go in the first place. Being partners with Jean could actually slow Riko down depending on how often he's hurt (because I don't think Riko was all that exempt from the rules to the point where his partner's performance would completely not matter) and he was still placed there. Riko was just THAT angry at him over Kevin's escape. And all the while he was keeping Kevin's side of room like an altar, even back when he didn't even think Kevin could PLAY, because of an injury he caused.

I want to see more melancholic part of sebek, even tho it might be nonexistent canonly.

What if compared to his brother & sister, sebek is the one who retains most of his father's traits as a human. maybe he was a bit behind than everyone in briar valley maybe some of them made fun of him maybe nobody made fun of him, but he just disliked the feeling of getting left behind maybe he's trying so hard not to curse & shift blame all of his weakness to his father more than he should, because his mother loves him so much maybe one day he did lash out to his father and his father just smiled painfully to him and said sorry to sebek, and sebek promises to himself to never hurt his father the same way again that's why he got to be strong, strong to the point that it never crosses his mind again or anyone's mind that he is, in fact, a half fae.

once again. i am thinking about an alternate end of time ending where the master joins up with the doctor on the tardis, but now specifically, an au where the doctor still ends up regenerating and crashlanding in amy's backyard. au where the doctor doesn't show up 12 years late because two timelords piloting a tardis is (marginally) better than one, and now amelia pond is going on adventures in time and space in the care of the two least qualified being in the history of the universe to take care of a seven year old.
