The more I think about it the more insane I find the Driftmark confrontation. Rhaenyra was at eye level and tending to Luke with her back turned toward Alicent (her back!! She was not facing Alicent! She had no idea Alicent was coming at them with a dagger until the last moment when Alicent had already crossed the room!!) when Alicent went after Luke with the catspaw dagger AND during that entire confrontation NOT ONCE does Alicent loosen her grip on the blade but instead continues to push against Rhaneyra with it in her hand. At one point the blades point is quite literally inches from Rhaneyra’s face and then she proceeds to slice Rhaenyra’s wrist open!! and zero punishment. Just nothing. Insane.

i feel like people often times forget the value of harry. Like yes you can have many stage outfits, costume changes, a huge stage with projections on there or screens on there, many visuals as a backdrop, backup dancers. But stage presence as a stand alone person is hard to get and harry has this. I often times see reviews that say that he made sure the energy is all around a stadium and being able to do that at slane castle with essentially no backup dancers, only the band, some on screen visuals and the rest all being stage presence and making moves that include the crowd to work (like the hand waving during grapejuice i believe) is insanely important to have if you want to play big without gimmicks

Nobody engages with individual members of the crowd like Harry does. Most just talk AT them, like Taylor with her endless self-mythologising speeches.
