"Just go,” Roy mutters, turning over in bed so that his back is to the door. “Leave me alone.”

He holds his breath, waiting for Jamie to close the door behind himself. The latch never clicks, but the mattress shifts down by his feet and he feels the weight of Jamie’s hand on his ankle through the duvet.

“Y’know, I got a … well not a theory, ‘xactly. But a thought, maybe? Doesn’t matter what I call it, really. Point is, I don’t think I’ve ever told anybody to leave me alone when that’s actually what I wanted.”

“Fuck you.” He means it, too.

Fuck Jamie, and his ability to see right through all of Roy’s bullshit to figure out the one fucking thing he wants, but doesn’t know how to fucking ask for. Fuck him for staying, even when it would surely be easier for him to go.

Fuck him for caring enough to stay.

“Yeah, alright.” Jamie rubs his hand back and forth over the blanket lump where Roy’s legs are.

He still doesn’t leave. Roy’s grateful for it, which he communicates by not yanking his leg away from Jamie’s touch.

“It’s not fucking fair,” Roy grumbles after a few minutes. His face is still half-burrowed into the pillow, so he’s not sure Jamie even hears him until he replies after a long, quiet moment.

“Yeah, shit never is, is it?”

I never understood C*dfia as a ship. Like I remember being like 10 or 11 years old and seeing the first movie and then starting to watch the series afterwards. And since Cedric was my favorite character immediately, I tried to look him up on google and tumblr, only to see tons of c*dfia content. And now, even as a 20 year old, I still fnd it so weird. like what is wring with some people

people need to stop exposing literal kids to content like that.

Yes! This is one of my biggest issues with C*dfia. It normalizes, and has very heavy undertones of grooming. It's just odd all together. Even if Sofia is aged up or Cedric is aged down, it doesn't change the fact you looked at a literal eight year old and a 30 something man and said "I want to see them in a romantic/sexual relationship." Whatever you do for the ship, fan art, fanfic, edits, etc you are getting inspiration from watching a child and an adult have an innocent, familial friendship. That is just wrong.

And it's still morally wrong if Sofia's older. By the time she is of age Cedric would be what? Mid forties? If you're telling me a forty something year old man in a relationship with a barely of age girl, who he knew since she was a child and also mentored, isn't weird, I genuinely don't know what to tell you. Legal ≠ moral.

Also if me, as a teenager, can acknowledge how wrong it is, I don't see how the usually full grown adults who ship it can't see it.
