#just me pretending the row leak didn't happen

Hey! 😊 Hope you don't mind me dropping this ask, I don't think we've interacted much on here before.
As far as the "leaks" go, I would definitely take them with a pinch of salt (and this is coming from a rina shipper lmao) cos didn't mark st cyr say he literally didn't know what mr mazarra's s2 ending would be until he watched the show? disney's so secretive i doubt most people on set would even know enough to come up with those theories, and the stuff about love triangles etc. isn't hard to make up, people on here are already doing it.
I guess what I'm saying is, there's no way of knowing what's going to happen until we watch the show, so try not to worry too much about the rinas on twitter claiming that this is proof they've been right all along. The truth is we don't know any more than you do 😅
Having said that, I have been thinking about the claim that EJ isn't in the main cast. Now I don't know if this will be true but if it is , I have a theory I thought you might find interesting: imagine if because he's left high school (and might even be a counsellor at camp this year) EJ gets asked to direct the show.
I feel like it could be a really cool extension of his s2 arc, he'd get another opportunity to learn about himself while telling other people's stories, and I think it would be really interesting if he realised he was happier working behind the scenes, as opposed to s1 when he felt like he had to be the lead and have everyone's approval and attention, but he felt like he had to pretend to be someone else to get that
Hope this makes sense, lmk what you think! ❤️
Hi! Of course I don't mind. 😁 Thanks for the ask! ❤ (I address the “leaks” here if ya’ll are wondering.)  I may not stan Rina anymore but I'm more than happy to talk about the show and these great characters (no matter what you ship!). 😊
You're totally right about the show filming multiple endings b/c I do remember Mark saying what ur referring to in a post-S2 interview (I think....)🤔. I could see some of what the "leaks" are talking about coming true, but the love triangle, in particular, seems especially obvious, and not in a good way. I wouldn't be surprised by a Portwell/Rina love triangle, I just think it's bad storytelling. What I mean is that this show has had 2 seasons in a row of love triangles (S1: EJ/Nini/Ricky, S2: Nini/Ricky/Gina and Mike/Jenn/Mazzara) so having Gina, EJ, and Ricky involved in another love triangle for the third season in a row seems like a step back for these characters (esp considering EJ and Gina have gotten the short end of the stick in both cases). 😥😣
Thank you for the reassurance! LOL❤😀 I agree, we really won’t know what’s true or not until the show starts to air, so it’s all a guessing game at this point.🤷🏽‍♀️
I didn’t hear about the claim that EJ isn’t a part of the main cast anymore. I can’t speak for S4 and beyond, but it’s safe to say he will be a main at least in S3 b/c Matt is still probably number 3 on the call sheet. EJ is still a Core 4, now Big 3, member (I also think he’s still a main b/c he just did Family Feud w/ the rest of the cast)🤔. For ur theory, I’ve deff had similar thoughts! EJ seems to really be embracing shining the spotlight on other ppl in S2, so that could deff carry on to S3! 😙 I personally think the camp director may not want to give up control to anyone, so Dewey(?) may not want EJ as a director for the camp’s musical. I could see Miss Jenn giving EJ the chance to co-direct one of East High’s musicals in the future tho (probably S4 or S5).☺️
I can’t tell you how nice it is to talk with a Rina who doesn’t dislike/hate EJ! 😭 I couldn’t agree more w/ you about where his arc is headed. I get the feeling Gina and EJ are getting to the point in their character arcs where they don’t care for the lead as much anymore. I feel like EJ may decide to go to the state school and study in film productions/directing towards the end of S3. Maybe his role in the camp’s musical, whether as a lead or working behind the scenes, helps him make that decision. 🤗
Thank you so much for the ask! I appreciate it, Izzy. 🥰❤

Troll the trolls here or is it trollie? Just following up. So the fake TB guy kept pretending he was the real deal... but when asked how the real deal actor's dog was doing (you knwo a Red herring question on my side) he just ignored it. The he started texting 3-4 days on a row claiming that he is a super busy type of person, but he still had time to send me messages first thing in the morning LA or fake LA time? By the 2nd day Facebook waa displaying warning messages telling me to be cautios about who I talk to or share private details with... and I was like Deark FB I am one step ahead of you on this one. What else happened.... fake TB guy asked me not to leak the conversation to the public causd it would "hurt" his public persona and you know the usual stuff. And then he started asking me a lot of personal questions which weren't his business at which point I gor annoyed and blocked him and also reported the account to FB. But if this was the real deal the person I was 10 years ago would murder me today for blowing it... guess we'll never know. Trollies signed out for now.
I love that FB was displaying stuff cautioning for you to be careful, nonnie. As a dog lover, I would've also asked and may have even pressed a bit had the question been ignored. 😂 I hope the personal questions you were asked didn't make you uncomfortable and I'm glad you blocked.
I recently had a fake Keanu Reeves follow me. Bummer. 😂
Love and thanks. 💙

9PM
Three boys struggling to deal with the uncomfortable consequences of being outed (disclaimer: not fluff; kind of a filler scene)
Taekyung had left school as soon as the bell for the last period rang. The rumors had been snowballing and it was getting too much to handle, even for a boy that had built himself up to not care about what other people thought of him. It was already 9PM, and Taekyung was still sitting on a ledge in an empty lot near the school.
It was only 9PM, but Shinwoo was ready to go home. Studying all alone in the student council room felt strange. On a normal day, he’d sit in a classroom or the library because he knew Daon and Taekyung would be having their tutoring session here. It was obvious why neither of them would show up anymore, though. Usually Shinwoo would stay an hour longer, until the end of the evening self-learning session, but this week had been too stressful. Hearing the whispers and snickers about Daon and Taekyung felt like he was reliving his past. It hurt, like someone was sticking pins into his half-healed scars. He felt another wave of anxiety just thinking about sitting in one of his other study spots. Just because the people there weren't talking out loud didn't mean they weren't fabricating stories around the few bits of information they had heard through their phone screens. He hated how little he could do to make them stop.
“Believe me, I was just being nice because he was new!” Daon ended his defense with a tone of desperation. His explanations had began as a whisper, but slowly became louder. Almost all of the students in the library were at the table he was sitting at, and he had to make sure they all heard him explain himself.
“We do believe you! It’s just that the kids in class are being weird,” Jungwoo, one of Daon’s classmates, said.
“Actually, come with us to class,” someone else suggested. “We can clear it up, can't we?” Daon was happy they all believed him, but hated this kind of attention. Going to class would be another session of twisting his words and intentions in front of a different set of eyes, hoping he was saying the right things to make them stop staring at him.
“The teacher’s gonna be there.” Daon hoped that would make them rethink their suggestion, but was scared to disagree too strongly in case they would figure out he was lying.
“I can just tell the teacher I want to go over my old homework. He'll leave the class to get it,” another student offered. It didn't work. Why couldn’t they text everyone this new development in the story like they always did? Nobody really cared if he was actually dating Taekyung or not. They were never this eager to help him out before. Everyone just wanted to be entertained, to have something big to happen so that they could be the first ones to talk about it.
Not wanting this issue to exhaust more of his energy, Daon quietly agreed with a nod and went out into the hallway, a herd of students trailing behind him as he walked towards his homeroom. He looked at the clock at the end of the corridor. It was 9PM. Maybe after this he could finally go home. He took a deep breath before the classroom door and then pushed it open.
Shinwoo stepped back from the food trays he had just filled and looked around. Maybe this time he'd be able to see the stray cat. As he walked down the sidewalk to look at the other side of the bushes, his eyes passed over a familiar figure.
“Taekyung?” he called out, his walk speeding up into a jog. “How long have you been here?”
“Oh,” Taekyung muttered, taking a break from staring at the empty backpack in his lap to look at Shinwoo. “I couldn’t get to pack my bag before I left so I’m waiting for them to leave.” Shinwoo’s eyebrows raised in worry.
“Them?” he asked. Taekyung shifted his gaze away and didn’t answer. Was he waiting for the whole school to empty?
“Hey,” Shinwoo said, stepping closer to him. “Come with me.”
“Huh?”
“Let’s go back together. They can’t say anything if you’re with me.”
Shinwoo thought Taekyung would protest, but he got up without a word and began putting on his backpack. After taking a couple of steps in the direction of the school, Taekyung turned around and stared at a confounded Shinwoo, waiting for him to catch up.
Daon’s words seemed to have dampened the situation with his classmates.
“Wait, dude, really?”
“I feel bad for misunderstanding you. I should’ve known it was the other guy being clingy.”
“Yeah man, sorry, we know you try your best not to hurt anyone’s feelings.”
“Did you see how happy Taekyung looked though?”
The kids laughed. Daon's chest tightened.
“I know someone in his class before and he said he's just weird like that. Seems like he’ll either completely ignore you or get obsessed with you like that.”
The teacher suddenly opened the classroom door, interrupting the boys' chatter.
“Why are you all crowding around the president? You’re allowed to get help from him but stay quiet and take turns.”
“Sorry.”
Daon's classmates scattered back to their seats, and his entourage from the library slithered out of the room, yet still stuck close to the door, not wanting to leave the lead star of the school's most exciting rumor out of their sight.
Daon stood alone at the front of the class, watching the kids type furiously on their phones, relaying what had just happened to all of their contacts as fast as they could. At that moment, he felt particularly alone. As if he didn’t matter to anyone.
The guilt of throwing Taekyung under the bus hit him like a ton of bricks. Daon had tied the person most important to him to a stake and abandoned him, just so he could keep his sanity. But how sane could he stay without Taekyung? Taekyung was the only one who really cared for him. But then again, it’s not like he would after he found out what Daon did.
“Well, then, I’ll get going guys!” Daon announced brightly, but his smile didn't reach his eyes. He was supposed to be relieved to have this problem off his hands, but it just felt like his heart had sunken even lower.
“Wait up, President, let me come with you,” someone said, closing their bag as they stood up.
“Keep up,” Daon replied as he left the room, but he didn't mean it. He was tired of selfish people sticking to him like leeches.
Shinwoo heard a door open and paused at the middle of the staircase, each of his feet on different steps. Taekyung looked over in confusion, and then followed Shinwoo's gaze to see who he was looking at. Daon stood at the top of the stairs with a dejected expression, staring right back at Shinwoo.
To Taekyung, that same expression appeared unreadable and practically emotionless. The fact that Daon didn't even acknowledge that Taekyung was there didn't help. Before any of them could process anything, the door opened again.
A buzzing crowd spilled out out of the entrance and huddled behind Daon like a swarm of ants, slowly falling silent as they saw the three boys.
“Throw salt on him or he’ll bring you more bad luck,” a voice sneered.
Daon, pretending he didn't hear, quickly looked down and rushed past the two of them without a word, not wanting this to turn into another scene for people to talk about, not wanting to hurt Taekyung more than he already had.
A lump formed in Taekyung’s throat as he watched Daon pass by. Noticing Taekyung's eyes moisten, Shinwoo grabbed him by the wrist and led him up the stairs and past the group of students.
“Birds of the same feather stick together,” that same voice snickered. Shinwoo turned and glowered, intimidating some students and making them hurry down the steps.
When Taekyung and Shinwoo entered the building, people from other classes were leaking out of their classrooms. They had already heard about the trio meeting and were eager to be firsthand witnesses to an exciting face-off.
“Ignore them,” Shinwoo whispered, trying to ease Taekyung's nerves. He loosened his hold on Taekyung’s wrist in case Taekyung felt uncomfortable about everyone’s eyes on them. To Shinwoo's surprise, Taekyung snatched his hand back, gripping it all the way to the classroom.
The crowd behind Daon had dispersed, but their conversations continued in the group chat. Daon glanced down at his phone, whose screen stayed lit up because of how often the notifications were coming up.
◾️yea that’s just how that kid is lol
◾️fr y’all are a little too mean
◾️k but I wanna feel safe at an all-boys school
◾️broo
◾️no offense prez ik ur not like that
◾️mby he is
◾️dude shut up hahaha
He didn’t reply to anything and turned his phone off.
The air in Taekyung's classroom was stiff, as if Taekyung and Shinwoo’s entrance interrupted something. There were only a couple of students left, the others having already deserted their desks to get first-row tickets to the drama. Shinwoo stayed by the door, waiting for Taekyung to finish putting his books in.
The other boys in the room spoke to each other without words, heads occasionally turning towards each other, smirks crawling up their faces when their eyes met. One of them glanced at Shinwoo, but to his luck, Shinwoo was glaring right back. The boy's grin immediately fell, and he quickly focused back on to whatever was on his desk, but clearly felt so embarrassed that he hurriedly cleared his desk and left.
The rest of the students seemed to have been waiting for someone else to leave first. A symphony of zips filled the quiet room. Taekyung watched as everyone scuttered out the door, and then he zipped his own bag up.
“The room is so empty,” Taekyung said, looking back. “And it’s barely past 9PM.”

The first Sinister Six: Aftermath with angy dad
I wrote this as a follow up to ask-spidersisters series of events, which read them first here => 1 2 3 4 5
-----
Perched on the roof of one of the large skyscrapers in his version of New York, Sterling watched the lights and listened to the noise that drifted up from below for any sign of danger. But this was a surprisingly quiet night, even for Christmas Eve. And he didn't like it. He was pulled from his thoughts by his phone and raised an eyebrow under his mask at who was called. Thalia always texted first. Answering it via his comms, he immediately felt something was wrong.
“Hey Honey, is everything ok? Normally you text first.”
The concern leaked into his voice, and it only grew to alarm when Thalia started sobbing.
"Thalia, Honey, talk to me. What happened?"
He fought to keep his voice calm as his younger daughter broke down on the other end.
"A-Athena, she's really badly hurt, th-they took her to the compound. We were attacked at-at the ice rink and Athena went to fight them."
Sterling felt like ice water had been poured down his spine. One of his spiderlings was hurt, and he hadn't been there to stop it.
"Were the avengers with her?"
"I-i don't think so."
He was glad he was using comms or he would have dropped his phone.
"Okay, Thalia, Honey I need you to listen to me. I need you to go to the compound and wait with her. I will be there as soon as I can with Alpha and Jace. Okay? Everything is gonna be fine, I promise."
He was already moving, knowing that Harry was already calling the other two. He just hoped he'd get there before anything else stupid happened.
-----
Sterling was going to kill someone.
Not that it was unusual for him to do so, he wasn't like most other spiders in that regard. But no, what was not standard was the situation he found himself in. Athena had been critically wounded, because Stark had been at a fucking party instead of paying attention to his 'mentee.' And Sterling was pissed. The idiot had one job. One! And it was to make sure a sixteen year old girl wasn't killed on his watch. And lo and behold, Athena was nearly killed.
Sterling pushed down his own guilt, the bile in his throat he pretended wasn't there, fueling the blistering rage he felt as he stormed through the Avengers' compound. Of course, S.H.I.E.L.D agents and the like tried to stop his warpath, only to be thrown into the walls or their fellow agents. Trailing along behind were a worried looking Night Wren and a serene looking Alpha, both only there to keep Sterling from ripping Tony Stark apart. The former had never seen his mentor's unbridled fury before, only frustration, but he heard the stories of Sterling's rampage through the crime syndicates of Spotlight Row when he went missing.
Reaching the medbay doors, Sterling wasted no time plugging Harry in, the young teen quickly overriding the security measures and throwing the doors open for the party. Storming in, Sterling had no problem grabbing Barnes when he tried to intercept the pissed spider and flipping him into the floor. Cap soon joined him after being slammed with his own shield, not that Sterling cared, as he locked eyes with the REAL target of his ire.
"Stark, you have five seconds to explain to me why one of my daughters is in a hospital bed, on YOUR WATCH, before I crush your fancy suit like a tin can while you're in it!"
The billionaire found himself hefted up with shockingly little effort, and staring down an angry beyond belief spider. The mask had been torn off by its owner, giving the genius unhindered access to dark eyes that glinted with barely repressed killing urges and a snarl that wouldn't be out of place on a mother bear protecting her cubs.
"Well?"
All Tony could do was wheeze before a hand found its way to Sterling's shoulder.
"Put him down, boss, he can't answer if you crush his windpipe."
Sterling let out a chitter and dropped Tony like a sack of potatoes, instead choosing to turn his back on everyone else in the room and settle at his spiderling's side. This left the rest of the avengers with the murder robot and Night Wren, the later helping the super soldiers to their feet.
"Now, can we get an explanation before the boss decides he prefers Stark in chunks?"
All that could be heard in response was Tony catching his breath, and the soft chittering of the worried father in the room. And honestly no one was sure what to say…
To fill the silence, Harry flicked the nearest TV on, and the sound of a news report flooded in. Detailing the aftermath of what happened, Sterling only half listened, and then something interesting was said.
"- Reports claim that the villainous group known as the Sinister Six was responsible for this attack."
Realizing his error Harry shut off the TV frantically, but it was too late. Sterling had new targets. Standing abruptly, Sterling stormed towards the door, fog beginning to form in his wake.
"Alpha,"
The woman snapped to attention and tilted her head,
"Guard her and Thalia when she gets here until I come back. I have some mongrels that need to be taught their place to deal with."
The robot silently nodded and moved to Athena's side as the man left the room. Noone dared to follow.
-----
Sterling stalked his quarry from a distance, the wounded lion a few roof tops ahead. It was laughably easy to tear apart the oh so terrifying Sinister Six. They weren't expecting a much more experienced spider to get the drop on them, and while he was safe for now in his cozy prison cell, doctor octopus was far from off the hook. He'd get his in time, but for now, Sterling had more pressing concerns. Namely the furrycon reject that was Kraven.
When Sterling had found the six, they were gloating their victory in the middle of Times Square, against the good doctor's wishes he assumed, and Sterling couldn't help the murderous grin that curled across his face. Such easy prey, out in the open like that. To call what happened next a massacre would be an understatement. The square was flooded with a thick fog, and the panicked shouts of the men he stalked only spurred him onwards.
One could say the fog was a blessing for civilians, because when it cleared, five of the six villains lay broken in the street, a note pinned to the unconscious rhino. It read;
"My daughter is kind, merciful. A better person than I am in every way. But do not mistake her mercy for a weakness, it is strength and restraint. Restraint I do not have. These men have left my child, Scarlet Spider, half dead, and I shall show them what it means to truly be hunted. I know who you are, Planner, and your time is coming. Let the lion be a lesson for all, attempt to harm my child again and I will make sure it's the last thing you do.
Fog-Weaver"
Kraven had been let go, the elder spider choosing to play with his food. He stalked the man, slowly cornering him at a spot with a perfect view of where Athena had nearly died.
"Nowhere to run, little lion."
Sterling let his steps echo on the now too quiet roof, the hunter for getting a good look at the man who had ripped the six apart. But while a smart man may recognize the danger he was in, Kraven could only boast.
"Who is running? Now I have you right where I want you, I must thank you though, you got rid of the others that kept me from having the sole honour of defeating the Scarlet Spider. For your combat prowess you will make a fine trophy. Now let us-"
As the man boasted, Sterling had kept up a steady advance and was now in arm's reach of Kraven. Without another word, Fog-Weaver reached out, grabbed Kraven's arm, and snapped it. The hunter stopped mid monolog and howled in pain. Even that was silenced when the angry spider kneed him in the stomach and slammed him into the ground.
"How do you feel hunter? How do you feel now that you're the prey?"
Kraven tried to respond but a tight grip around his throat stopped him. Looking up at his attacker, Kraven expected the blank eyes of the mask, but instead found him staring into eyes darkened with rage.
"Know that however you feel is nothing compared to what you and your colleagues put my child through. And I hope your last moments on this earth makes this sink in."
The spider hissed, before the hand around his throat vanished only to be replaced by fangs. The more he struggled and fought, the quicker he felt himself weaken and begin to seize as his organs began to shut down as Sterling drained every last bit of Kraven's life essence. When the man finally died, Sterling pulled away and wiped his mouth, eyeing Kraven's body with contempt. Eventually he hoisted over a shoulder after placing his mask back on, heading towards the Jumbotron in the square.
That was how the police found the once proud hunter, dangling lifelessly and drained of blood. The only explanation was a note reading;
"This is both an example and a warning, the only one you will get. Do not anger me again.
Fog-Weaver"
Of course, Sterling wasn't there when they retrieved the corpse. He was at Athena's bedside and hugging Thalia close, watching over his children, and giving no indication of what he had done. He would deal with the fallout later. For now, he had a spiderling to guard and a child to comfort.
