Everyone talks about beach divorce, but can we talk about this scene...
For me this is the moment when Erik truly betrays Charles.
Not when he puts the helmet on, not when he shots him or parts with him on the beach. It's this exact moment that did it for me.
Charles is literally is Shaw's head and can feel everything Shaw feels. Including his pain. Erik made Charles feel agony just because he wanted revenge.
I was actually mad and confused when no one mentioned the pain Erik caused Charles to feel, that no one explained to Magneto what he really did. And then it hit me...
He knew. He was aware that Charles could feel everything and he still did it. And Charles still didn't let go even for a second, just to be sure Erik doesn't get hurt.

Anyone else miss it back when barbie looked like a doll? I loved the modern animation for mermaid's tale and fashion fairytale but I liked her more in her previous designs

Okay, what're your thoughts on the cut Dion apology? Why do you think it was cut out?
because it doesn’t sound like something he’d actually say during the events of the game. it doesn’t even sound like something he’d say post-game. look at that guy. he swallows every emotion until it boils back up as frustration and vitriol.
it was probably cut because there wasn’t a good, natural place to fit it in. and if it was a bottled emotion line then it just got scrapped with the mechanic.

I know that Carlos and Grace aren't the biggest characters on the show, but I wish we would celebrate their work more or acknowledge their work a little more. It feels like the show is constantly praising the firefighters and paramedics but not the cop and dispatcher who also do life-saving work. This is an area where the original 911 does better.
I don't watch OG so I can't speak on that but Idk I think they do a pretty good job of celebrating Grace, don't they? There are entire episodes that centre around the concept of how amazing she is. It is a very consistent plot point, imo, that she's incredible at her job and she is better than everyone else and she saves people every single day. And as much as I love Carlos, I'm not mad that the show in general doesn't go out of its way to praise police. Too many shows like this end up just being propaganda for state violence so I would rather it be done like LS does it; where Carlos as an individual is a great person and good at his job (which we saw last night!) but the narrative of the show isn't shoving that down our throats.

Since there's only 1 episode left of Buddy Daddies, I think the best they could do is one of two things:
1.- Open ending for a second season so they can have other 13 eps to take the organization down
2.- Make them fake their deaths to let them escape in this last episode
I don't know how they could throw the organization in 22 minutes and then get away with it, I think the best Kazuki and Rei can do is to fake their deaths and move out of the country, if they kill Rei's dad then the other members won't stay put and will go after them
They want normal happiness, so being chased down by hitmen for the rest of their lifes couldn't be the best scenario

Ever since the third movie came out, I've seen a lot of people complaining about how Toothless was so horny for the Light fury and that he chose to have a girlfriend over Hiccup, but like... Why is everyone so upset about it?
He probably haven't seen a single fury his whole life, so of course he's gonna go crazy for the first one he meets. And from Gift of the Night Fury we know that dragons mate every year during winter. Do y'all realise how many times Toothless had "the need" but had no way to fulfil it? Of course he's gonna use the opportunity to get a mate as soon as he gets it. Not to mention he's an animal. A very intelligent one, but still an animal. And animals have an instinct to reproduce (seasonal mating for example). And if someone's gonna say that he's more intelligent than an animal, then guess what? Even humans long for a relationship. Not a friendship, but a romantic and sexual relationship.
Plus I'm pretty sure Toothless is aware that he's possibly the last night fury alive so he's definitely gonna try to save his kind.
So in conclusion, Toothless has every right to be horny over the Light Fury, so let him get laid and let him be happy.
Thank you for coming to my TEDtalk ✨

Unpopular Opinion Time
I'm not excited for The Stolen Heir, and I'm probably the only person who isn't. I think part of it is my aversion to sequels, but... I honestly don't want to return to Elfhame. The story was done in The Queen of Nothing. The Suren storyline/cliffhanger was fine as just that--a cliffhanger. I trust Holly Black, but... idk man. I'm just not excited. The Folk of the Air had a happy ending and sequels always mean disrupting said happy ending. Jude and Cardan finally worked everything out and built themselves a family and I'm not ready to see it all ripped apart.
If Cardan and Jude aren't in the book, or if they appear as a small cameo but nothing more, then I'll probably like it.

Saying "you have to know the rules to break them" is not a slight on people who are less skilled or new in a discipline, it literally is just a fact. It's easy to tell when someone's flopping around aimlessly as opposed to meticulously planned violations of "best practices."
The difference between "this person is not great at spelling and grammar" is extremely different and apparent from "this person is forgoing punctuation and capitalization to evoke a certain feeling and emotion in the piece."
At the end of the day tho, you do what you want with your skills. I personally feel there's always room for theory to supplement the practical work but there's nothing wrong with getting your hands dirty and never caring about what others are doing.
BUT in that same realm, I feel like sticking your head in the sand and never experiencing someone else's work is only gonna carry you so far. You will probably plateau without outside inspiration.

I personally think the difference between a tumblr sexyman™ and a twitter "tumblr sexyman" is that tumblrs sexymen were made sexy in fanon, while twitters sexymen were sexy in canon
