Okay so today I woke up from a series of extremely elaborate story dreams about half-human half-snake people that I was 1000% convinced was from a real book that I could really read due to seeing part of it written out on pages that looked like they'd been photocopied and scanned for a class or something.

And then I realized I had just dreamed it, so I wasn't going to get to see the end of the quest and now I'm very miffed about this.

fhr pokemon au.... big brain ideas from @capricule. Of COURSE I had to indulge and draw River's pokemon team.

I have. Many thoughts about it. I spend ALL DAY thinking about it.

Firstly, they're all psychic types! River relies heavily on his telepathy, and I think he would have an easier time connecting to psychic pokemon because of the similarities.

Secondly, I don't think River would really catch pokemon. There would be too many elements that remind him of the Farm.

So where did all of these pokemon come from?

Gallade he found as a young Ralts during his early Sidestep days. he didn't have a trainer and was being hurt by a criminal. River saved him and Ralts just... followed him around ever since.

Raichu was a pikachu gifted to him by Tia Elena, she is one of the baby's from her own Raichu and therefore the little sibling of Julia's pikachu!

Espeon was an eevee that Themmy gave to him when it was just a ~*mystery*~ egg.

After Heartbreak, Julia took care of these three pokemon alongside her own for seven years. River didn't see them again until his reunion with Julia.

Musharna and Beldum are recent additions. Musharna being a Munna that was drawn to River and his nightmares sometime after his second escape, in an attempt to soothe the dreams. He stuck around long term and was evolved recently when River could get away with stealing an evolution stone for him.

Little baby Beldum is a very new friend given to him by Chen, from his own Metagross.

MAOIs are super last resort #because they can kill you :). the one she offered i've tried anyway and it didn't help a lot #can i just be like. normal. can there stop being a bubble between me and the world. etc. #at least i have some Prescription Sedatives in case the lexapro jacks my sleep up bad #because if i stop sleeping then that's another mania trigger when SSRIs themselves also are a trigger for that for me
