#just saw a ig story from one of my best friend’s sisters praising Candice Owens #and talking about how godly and brave she is #WTF #like seriously #how can you think that anything she is doing is good #all she talks about is enforcing racism #homophobia #toxic masculinity #she makes it seem all godly or whatever and it really jusy spreads hate #it hurts me to think about people believing that stuff #also with full sincerity fuck the American Christian church mentality that has turned into an extension of the Republican Party #and after growing up in a very Christian household where I wasn’t allowed to watch Harry Potter or celebrate Halloween #I don’t identify as Christian anymore... #all I see and feel from people I still know in the church is hate and endorsement of hate tbh #and people wonder why I’m not a Christian anymore
