thinking about hairstylist Steve and rockstar Eddie. Eddie has a calvin klein underwear billboard that's right across the street from Steve's salon. Steve stares at it constantly while at work and almost faints when Eddie actually comes in one day needing an emergency hair wash because a bird pooped on him while he was walking by. Now Steve gets to massage his scalp and listen to the soft sighs and relaxed borderline moans of the man he's been ogling for months.

Derek’s obsession with Stiles has never felt like an obsession because to him it’s normal werewolf behaviour with his mate. especially alpha behaviour with the alpha mate.
also Stiles has never complained once apart from pouting prettily at Derek when he thinks Derek is being outrageously stubborn about something or other.
Derek knows Stiles absolutely loves everything about Derek being his alpha. Stiles fucking preens when Derek looks at him like he’s about to fucking eat him whole. he blushes so nicely when Derek leaves offerings on his porch, the bigger the prey the deeper the blush. (Stiles even learns how to butcher carcasses on youtube because there’s no fucking way he’ll waste even a morsel of Derek’s gifts)
he pretends to be offended when Derek tells him he can’t do something or can’t see someone Derek doesn’t trust. but Derek never denies him anything, he gives Stiles everything and anything he wants and he indulges him at every turn so when Derek puts his foot down, his word becomes law. Stiles never crosses that line and he never will.
Derek is his alpha, his mate, Stiles knows his place and he’s more than happy with that.

DinLuke Thots and Thirsts
- Luke for sure fell first. Din for sure fell harder.
- Din has let the intrusive voices win and has nom-ed Luke’s cheek before (normally when he’s nearing 72 hours of no sleep). He does it after picking a little fight when telling Luke he has a marshmallow baby face (again; he’s really tired)
- There is a SIZE DIFFERENCE and you can NEVER take this away from me. Luke is tiny. Din is big. I will make Luke smaller than he is. I may make Din bigger than he is. I may over exaggerate it. I don’t care. I am feral for it. I love it. Itty bitty precious Luke who can destroy all of ya’ll if he wasn’t so sweet and big Din who can hold Luke in the crook of one arm.
- Luke is a Bottom Sub and Din is a Top Dom. Also will never be taken from me. Luke deserves to be called a good boy and Din deserves to take care of someone without worry about them leaving him.
- Luke is called babygirl and malewife. Maybe not to his face. Maybe not by Din. But by god, someone in the galaxy sees what he is, what he is destined to be, and is brave enough to say it.
- Add Luke to any Mandalorian situation and he instantly makes things 100% more complicated or 100% easier but always 1000% more fun (looking at you season 3). No one is sure how  he does it...but no one is really complaining.
-Din is romantic. Like once he falls, he is in it for the long haul and every thought and action is for being a husband/father and he is CLINGY. “Luke, love, where is my goodbye kiss?”//”Luke, we’ve been apart for three hours--I need a hug.”//”Where are my babies??? WHERE ARE MY BABIES??!!”
- Luke has more (romantic and sexual) experience than Din but not by a lot. Both of them, at times and at the start, just sort of look at each other and go “now what??” They get the hang off it quick enough and just find their own version of a loving relationship...but man they were a bit lost.
- Din would so ask “am I the asshole because i didn’t get my husband a stuffed toy this one time I went off world?? he wasn’t mad but what if he was hurt? what if he thought I didn’t love him? oh god, I need to go get him ten gifts now.”
- Din probably cried when Luke gave him the first gift...he probably still gets all choked up because Luke is so sweet and perfect and everything he does makes him happy.
- Din does have a Luke-sense exactly like Ken does in Barbie Dream House. It may actually be he is Force-sensitive but all of his powers goes directly into sensing when Luke needs something...or is about to sneak off to do something dangerous (”Being Luke’s husband IS MY CALLING”)
- Din does have this towards Grogu on some level...but Grogu is a big boy who wants to do things for himself and Din is proud of his little Mandalorian who wants to do this. (No, Luke, you are not big enough and you are a danger to yourself. Din will keep his obsessive Luke-sense over you)

Some thoughts after the Wembley show on 16.12.2023
(i wasn't there but i was following it closely and i have some thoughts)
Wembley show just proved that they are a huge success and growing at an extreme rates BUT they are still the same band we know and love and they won’t let the success haze their mind cause who the fuck does not cancel a show when he can’t sing? a very dedicated person. who the fuck continues to play concerts when one of the band members has an emergency and has to bounce? a very dedicated band. i’m not saying there are no other dedicated bands out there. i’m saying you can really see just how much this whole thing means to them. and who the fuck flies off to a family emergency during tour? A HUMAN FUCKING BEING. argue with the wall.
i can see that they love what they do so much and they handle everything that comes their way with such humanism and plain kindness my heart is aching. it is so rare in our times. they are an anonymous collective but they show so much humanity and personality it is astounding and honestly so so beautiful. they play monsters but act so human. i love them. i love the fans. i love being here. they bring me the most intense and incredible feelings.
Tumblr media
playing Bloodsport at the end of the set? i bet my ass Ves just was in his feelings and this fucking song fits so fucking perfectly to this whole ordeal of a show. what does that say about him? to me it’s that he lives through every single show with us, with its differences and mishaps. again, the humanity is striking and gut wrenching. it’s nothing sophisticated, they are just being real. humble. human. maybe it was planned. we won’t know. i think the beauty of this is that it is open to interpretation and that’s my two cents on what happened.
in the most healthy way possible, my heart belongs to them.
im gonna tag a little human being @monstrouscrew to thank for the inspiration. you have a beautiful brain

After watching GOTG 2 again I am struck by how it IS possible to kill a beloved character in a meaningful and hard-hitting way
Yondu was my favourite trashbag pirate dad. Like, it 100% made me sad to see him go, and I'm so tired of the 'death as redemption' trope that I immediately wrote a dozen fix-it fics.
But narratively? It was perfect.
It was a big character moment that brought his arc together. A guy who hid all his fear and trauma behind this act of being the biggest toughest badass around, who pretended he didn't care about anyone but himself, was finally fucking honest about his love for his son and had a really soft, touching, heartfelt moment where he was trying to comfort him while he died.
It was a horrific situation with no other way out. Yondu and Peter had to choose one of them to die, and of course Yondu chose himself, not his kid. It didn't feel contrived, or like a disservice to the characters' intelligence. There really was no other option.
It was dramatic. It was heart-rending. It felt impactful, not least because the film ended with a massive funeral where Yondu's whole adopted family (who Yondu thought he'd pushed away and who hated him forever) showed up to say goodbye.
We had Peter resolving to be a better parental figure to Groot while listening to the music Yondu left him. We had Rocket reflecting on his big 'I see you, you're me' moment with Yondu. We had Peter telling Rocket the Guardians will always love him, even if he - like Yondu - does that Typical Abused Kid Thing and pushes the boundaries of everyone who cares for him to test when they'll snap. We had poor widower Kraglin inheriting Yondu's arrow (and absolutely sucking ass at using it, lmao). Hell, we even had Gamora and Nebula sharing that beautiful, awkward, unpracticed hug.
In short, it was so much better than A Certain Other Death, and rewatching made me grateful for how it was handled

one of the things that really gets me about pedro missing out for best actor is that the same people who had issues with the second tlou game are gonna have issues with s2, and considering what happens in the game he probably won't have a lead actor role, therefore nomination, main/supporting at best, and this is the biggest show he's done and i really don't know if he'll get this opportunity for recognition again anytime soon, seeing as how he's gotten overlooked for the past 10 years and is now the butt of every comedians jokes about his looks, instead of focusing on his talent

i was watching a gaming youtuber a couple months ago who has a lil gaming news segment on his channel when they dropped the title reveal and he was like ‘dreadwolf? solas? like that smelly dude from the dream realm? i mean... ok. i never finished inquisition’ and it was just fascinating to watch a guy be so alienated from the concept of the sequel just because he hadn’t finished the last game. like i know in an ideal world everyone has played all the games but how’s this dude meant to get excited about the new game when it completely hinges on this one plot point he missed out on. you might as well have named it da4: breaking dawn part 2 honestly. and now all the promo material is like ‘HEY IT’S THIS GUY YOU DIDN’T CARE ABOUT THE FIRST TIME ROUND’. is this not how you lose relevancy? i am so so so sorry about the turn of phrase but i’m concerned that this is what happens when you put all your eggs in one basket

This is just my opinion but I don't want to see Crowley become Prince of Hell. It doesn't make sense for his character arc. He doesn't like hell. I would go so far as to say he doesn't like power. And I don't think he'd put himself in a position that would make him Aziraphale's direct enemy.

Every time Steve goes to kiss Billy, he wraps his arms around his waist, to make sure he's not going to disappear. One hand to his heart to make sure it's still beating.
Billy likes it, even though he'll never admit anything, because being held is one intimate touch he's been deprived of.
Steve also does this to show Billy he's more than a warm mouth to him.
Billy prefers actions over words, and Steve's more than happy to oblige.
To love and to hold.
Two things that cost nothing... and mean everything.

as cool as it is that finn got to age and grow up throughout the show, it's also worth noting that he didn't really have much character development? it was interesting to see how his mentality and priorities subtly shifted as he grew up, but let's be honest, episodes that focused on Lore or character development were strongly outnumbered by silly episodes where the status quo remains at the end. that's not a criticism, that's just how the show was written, and it's fun to watch! but i wonder if that's why we're now seeing finn struggle so much to grieve jake and to move on with his life. it's an occupational hazard of the genre - he is forever stuck as a kid who wants to go on endless adventures.
