You met Aziraphale and Crowley in 537 AD, encountering them by pure chance.

At first you intimidate them as a dragon, thinking they were two hapless knights who lost their way back to their kingdom..

Until you saw Crowley's snake eyes, and you realize he's not human at all.

"You there...I like your eyes.....are you another shapeshifter?"

"...um..nope." The demon in black armor looks incredibly confused, especially at this dragon talking to him. "Don't know what gave you that idea.."

"Well technically he is." The white knight adds on, smiling nervously. "You see, my erm..."rival" here is something of a serpent who was sent to-"

"Shut it, Angel. This beast doesn't need our lifestory! Now if you could kindly excuse us, o' great dragon, we have to discuss-"

"Hate to break it to you, but....I'm not actually a dragon."

"Then what are you exactly? You...said something about "shapeshifting" before, didn't you?"

To answer Crowley's question, you transform into a young human clad in knight armor, taking off your helmet to reveal your unnaturally-colored eyes and hair, smiling. "Bingo."

The pair are quite impressed, so they have no reason to hide the fact they were an angel and demon.

You explained how you've had these shapeshifting powers for a long time, being on the run since everyone thinks you're a "cursed child" or some monster that was once banished, wanting nothing more than to drive a sword through your heart.

When it's clear that neither Aziraphale nor Crowley have any intentions of hurting you....that's when you decided to stick with them.

It took them 20 years to realize you never aged, learning you're an immortal being in a teenager's body.

Your powers allow you to keep up with the times, disguising yourself as animals, people...or even angels and demons if your heart so desired.

Sometimes you'll turn into a snake much like Crowley's own snake form (although your scales have the color of your hair, ofc, so you're not 100% identical).

You haven't mastered turning just your head into a snake, however.

In the modern era, you enjoy being a nightingale after learning they were both fond of those birds, often singing in the bookshop out of boredom.

Although Crowley's fully aware you're not a demon, you got a spunky and rebellious personality and love getting up to mischief.

And he 100% encourages this (while poor Aziraphale's practically begging you to stay out of trouble).

But you're definitely on the angel's side anytime he compliments Crowley, who just snarls and denies ever doing something "nice" or "good".

You don't believe he's all that evil for even a moment.

While you're aware that they have to act like they despise each other bc they're on opposite sides...in your eyes, they behave so much like an old married human couple.

Aziraphale emphasizing "our car" when talking about the Bentley made you roll your eyes and joke about when the wedding's gonna start.

When Aziraphale returns to Heaven without Crowley, you realize that maybe your "marriage jokes" went a bit too far...even though neither of them blame you for their falling out.

Still, you feel bad bc you can tell Crowley was genuinely in love with him.

You overheard everything, and after his "no nightingales" remark, you're reluctant to shapeshift into one again out of fear of upsetting him.

Yet he asks you, too, as he couldn't bear the silence in the bookshop anymore...and listening to any of Aziraphale's music records would've been too painful for him.

You obliged, staying perched on his shoulder as he stared out the window for hours...hoping that his angel would come back to him.

You hoped so, too, waiting everyday by his side...until the end of time if you had to.

rewatching s1 of broadchurch even tho im halfway through my first watch of s3 because i have an obsession with rewatching things and DAMN there are way more hints at who ended up being the killer than i originally thought, and a bunch of moments that are really ironic in hindsight

spoilers under the cut (yes it came out like 10 years ago but im still putting a spoiler warning)

ep1 - joe and ellie talk in the kitchen after hardy makes the statement to the media

joe: do you know what happened? i mean should we be worried for other kids?

on first watch, his tone of voice and body language here just seem like confused and worried parent, but on second, there's definitely a hint of panic in his voice

ep2 - joe, tom and fred in the cafe

joe: this is a terrible, unspeakable thing thats happened. but nothing like it will ever happen again here

tom: you cant know that though can you? you cant be sure

then after this joe's facial expression looks SO guilty like he can't think how to respond

ep3 - hardy questioning tom with joe in the room

hardy: can you think of anyone who would want to hurt danny?

THEN THE CAMERA IMMEDIATELY CUTS TO JOE. ik near the end joe swears he never wanted to hurt him but this is still a rly clever piece of editing, i love when shows do this. also the fact that in every scene where he's questioning tom, joe's in the room and occasionally talks but he's never in the frame of the camera hardys using to record it. he was literally right under their noses the entire time and they never suspected because they were focused on other people too much

ep4 hardy goes to the millers" for dinner

this scene hits so much different on second viewing holy shit. at one point they're talking about marriage and work and how hardy's divorce was partially work-related and:

hardy: this job, it does it to you

ellie: well, not to us

ellie actually makes me sob she loves her life so much then it all just comes crashing down on her

joe: do you think you're gonna solve this case?

hardy: certain.

joe: good :)

joe's reply itself here makes sense but there's a few seconds before he says it where his face is just blank and mildly panicked. he's genuinely worrying about being caught at this point.

now this one isn't a direct hint or anything but just if you think about the dialogue in a different context...yeah it fits

hardy: you bloody liar

joe: ive said nothing

hardy: and yet-

joe said nothing to the police or ellie and yet was lying the WHOLE time.

ep5 - brian asks ellie out

ellie: sorry, im married

brian: and thats an issue is it?

ellie: happily married, brian

brian: oh. okay, fair enough. only lots of people aren't though, are they?

ellie: i am.

ep6 - jack's wake

ellie spends the whole scene looking around to see if anyone looks worried, at one point she looks into a room (seemingly at nige but joe is stood nearby having a different conversation) and she makes eye contact with joe RIGHT as the camera cuts away

ep 6 - joe takes tom to the skate park and ellie arrives

ellie: i was just looking round that bar at the wake thinking "its someone here, why cant i see it?" the longer this goes on, im starting to suspect everyone

joe: when you say everyone...

ellie: well, nearly everyone

this is probably the most obvious hint that i can't believe i didn't catch on to. of COURSE they're gonna make a point for the killer to be the ONE person ellie LITERALLY SAYS she isn't suspicious of.

ep7 - ellie lets susan leave the police station

ellie (about susan's past with her husband and daughters): in your own house, how could you not know?

“james, love…” lily puts her hand soothingly on james’ thigh. it’s soft, and small, and smooth, and almost delicate in her touch. everything about lily is so right to james, in every sense.

but gosh, sometimes he wishes that hand were bigger, rougher, scarred and pale with long bony fingers and black chipped nail polish.

james doesn’t even know why he feels that way sometimes. he loves lily. he really fucking loves lily. she’s everything to him, and five times out of ten he’ll yearn for her hand and her touch and her love.

but those five other times…

fuck, it hurts. and it’s so goddamned confusing. james drives himself crazy thinking about it.

actually, he drives himself crazy trying not to think about it. he doesn’t want to think about it. he can’t hurt lily. she’s the love of his life. so wonderful, she is, the brightest witch of her age, and she’s sassy and challenges james and doesn’t put up with his arrogance but also loves when he gets a little snobby. she’s so wonderful, and his parents adore her, and they’re engaged. to be married!

james doesn’t think life could get much more perfect than her.

oh, but his heart, it’s a terrible fucking thing. it’s the worst thing in the world, he’s beginning to think.

everyone’s always told him he has the most pure heart they’ve ever seen, that he has so much love and wears it on his sleeve. james potter has a wonderful heart, so good and lovely.

but james potter thinks his heart is so horrible, the betrayer. why? why would it do this to him?

it loves lily so dearly, and he’s certain of that. so why does his heart race so fucking fast when those long bony fingers reach out and tickle his skin. why does it ache and yearn for james to look into ice grey eyes and embrace another? if his heart so full of good and love, why must it hate james so much?

his body quakes when her delicate touch gluides over the meat of his thigh, the covers kicked down to his shins. her nails are painted a pretty pale green colour, and they look lovely, sitting in the place where his boxers end. he usually loves the sight of her hand there, so perfectly placed, her freckled skin contrasting against the tan of his own.

but not tonight. not right now. right now it’s his hand that james wants to see there. it’s his bony pale fingers that james wants to see spread out over the thick muscle. it’s his touch james yearns for.

he convulses, caving in on himself more. he’s distraught, arms wrapped tight around his almost bare body, snot in his nose, hot cheeks covered in tear tracks, his glasses all foggy.

“love…” she whispers again, her perfect, sweet voice. james loves the way she chants his name, weather it be soft, or tender, or loud, or excited, or desperate, or angered. he loves it all. he loves how perfect the melody of everything she says sounds to him. but he wishes for the deeper baritone of someone else to call his name in all the same ways. someone who’s not supposed to call his name in all the same ways.

james can’t even look at her. cant bring himself to look at her. he can’t hurt her the way hes hurting himself. cant believe he’s feeling this way. it’s horrible, guilt sinking it’s claws into his chest and tugging everything out until there’s nothing left but empty pain.

he can’t tell her, or she’ll leave him.

he can’t tell him, or everything will be wrong.

he can’t lie, or he’ll feel even more guilty.

he can’t be honest, or things will get messy.

he can’t rot like this forever, or hill drive himself to insanity.

they’re getting married next week, for fucks sake. and james loves her so much, and he’s so happy, and so excited. they’ve been taking about kids, about life. james got so excited about the thought, he impulsively bought a tiny pair of baby sneakers he saw in the store one afternoon.

so why is it, on his bucks night, of all nights, that he’s getting cold feet? why is it now just hitting him harder than it ever had before, these horribly betraying feelings?

had it been because those ice grey eyes looked at james with such pure affection and softness it made his heart want to explode? had it been because calloused hands felt good wrapped around james’ biceps as he had to be hauled back up to bed? had it been then kiss left on james’ forehead from pretty pink lips that didn’t belong to his fiancé? had it been the quiet words muttered into the night, when james was presumedly asleep, that had been playing on an insistent loop since they’d been whispered?

she can give you everything i can’t, amour. be happy, please.

or did it only really hit him, how horrible this all is, when he heard lily get home right as he was leaving. when he heard them talking downstairs, unable to decipher what they were saying, but sobered enough in the head to know they were talking for a while, taking about good things and bad.

or is it worse, because james feels the way he does, and he knows it’s bad and that he shouldn’t think on it, but sometimes he notices those ice grey eyes drift over to look at the soft curves of lilys figure? is it anger, he feels, for his friend to look at his fiancé like that? is it jealousy that he feels, when he notices her looking back? or is he jealous that those ice grey eyes aren’t always set on james?

“james.” lily whispers once more, moving herself closer to him on the bed, her hand shifting from his thigh to his cheek where she wiped his tears and held him. her makeups smudged, her hairs all messy, and he has a gaudy feather boa on. she wanted an all muggle henz night, and it looks like she had a wonderful one. and now james was here, ruining it because his heart yearns for a second.

why isn’t she enough for him? why can’t she be enough?

“i’m sorry, love.” james splutters out, surprised he can actually string his words together.

“oh, jamie.” she whispered, the soft pad of her thumb swipes over his wet cheek, flicking away more tears as they spilled. she leant in close to kiss his forehead, so delicate and warm, her kisses. so perfect. not enough. she smells like champagne, and sweat, and her floral perfume. it’s nice, comforting, it’s her and assurance she had a good night.

james sobbs more, they rip through him like waves; a never ending stream washing him away, and he aches.

“i love you so much, darling.” she whispers again, “and you love me?”

oh, more than anything he’s ever loved, almost. besides that one other incessant, irritable, beautiful, perfect disaster. he loves the both of them equally, he thinks, which is wrong. it’s so wrong. pick one, he tells himself. you can only love one person at a time.

“of course.” he nods, bottom lip wobbling as he speaks. “oh, i love you so much, lily, you have no idea-“

“i know, my love.” she smiles, so pretty, so perfect. “but your heart… it’s not only mine, is it?”

james stills, his said heart stops still in his chest. he isn’t entirely sure he’s actually breathing for a very long while. how would she know such a thing? how can she know? how- how… oh how?

“oh, my love.” she giggles, so softly. it sounds so familiar, like a warm summer breeze, and it settles something deep in james’ chest. it provides him comfort, as she always does, and he breathes again. “don’t panic. i’ve known for a while- for years, james. before we started going out, you know?”

“i’m so sorry.” he breaks, slumping into her arms and almost wailing against her chest. she holds him tight, soothing her hand over his back and petting him there, another hand sifting through his hair as she kisses his crown. she’d make a wonderful mother some day, james knows it. but now he’s gone and fucked it up, hasn’t he? “i don’t want to hurt you, i love you, lily, so much-“

“i know, james.” she sighed, kissing his crown once more, “you don’t have to be scared. not with me. you know you can tell me these things? i’ve been waiting for you to tell me years, thought maybe once we tied the knot you would.”

“you’re not… mad at me?” james peaks up at her, his eyes stinging from crying so much, his glasses askew. “why are you not mad at me?”

he’s terribly lost right now, his heart practically on another planet already with how fast it’s moving.

“you can love more than one person, james, and still have your love be pure.” she smiled, so sweetly, so pretty. he wants to kiss her, but thinks this is hardly the time for that. “you can love anyone you desire, as much as you desire. i know your heart is mine, i just share it with sirius, is all.”

hearing her speak his name like that, it’s unsettling at first. it makes james jolt back in shock, looking at her through eyes blown wide. she was never meant to know, no one was ever supposed to know. it’s weird, now she knows- she’s always known, apparently. but since he’s been made aware. why isn’t she angry? why isn’t she saying his name with such distain?

why does she speak his name like it’s something tender, like he’s precious? why does she sound out each letter the same way james would?

“you’re not a terrible person, james. please know that. i only waited so long to bring it up because i wanted you to feel good about it. but i can see it getting to you…” she sighed, smoothing her soft hands over his shoulders, “i love you so very much, no matter how many other people i share your heart with. i think it’s wonderful, how you can love me so strongly and still have more to give. don’t you think it’s wonderful? you do really have the biggest heart.”

james doesn’t know how to feel right now. he doesn’t know what this means. she loves him, still. is glad, perhaps? he’s baffled, actually. and he must show it, because she laughs so brightly at him and wipes the last of his sticky tears away before kissing him kindly.

james sinks into her wonderful, wonderful kiss. oh, she really is brilliant, his lily.

“you relax, my love. lay down.” she mutters, pushing james back to lie under the covers again, folding his glasses for him and setting them on his bedside, “i’m going to put on a spot of tea, and then we’ll lay together for a while, and we’ll talk more in the morning about what it all will mean, okay?”

“okay.” james muttered, closing his heavy eyes.

oh he really loves his lily.

he must have fallen asleep, because one minuet she’s laying him into bed and the next she’s making him sip a hot cup of tea. his glasses stay off, too tired to worry much about seeing, too drunk to process much else anyway. he sips his tea, and she sips hers, and smiles at him softly.

“i love you so much, james.” she whispers to him, taking his teacup and setting it on his bedside table. “let’s sleep?”

she doesn’t give him time to argue, shoving him over into the centre of the bed. rather than climbing into her own side, she crawls under the covers on james’ and curls in at his side.

but james can’t focus much on the soft curve of lily, or her pretty smile, or the inviting smell of her; there’s another body climbing into bed behind him.

“shhh…” lily whispers, taking james chin and turning him to face her, as he startled. she kisses his lips again and wipes away the confused furrow of his brow. “not now, love. just relax, okay. let us hold you, we’ll talk tomorrow.”

james nods and turns to look at the other body, and finds pale skin and ice grey eyes looking down on him softly.

“would you like me to hold you, jamie?” he whispers, and james’ heart burns with how fast it’s beating.

james nods, too delirious to question it, if he’s honest. it’s not as if they don’t cuddle, regularly. it’s just… this is a little different, he suspects. lily has this look on her face, like she’s meddling, like she’s happy to be meddling.

james usually loves when she meddles, so he can only assume this is something good. he doesn’t have to worry now, they’ll talk about it in the morning.

for now, he lays his head on his pillow and wraps his arms tight around lily, their legs slotting together with ease, a position they have mastered. she’s curled into his chest, her forehead pressed against the flesh of his, and her hair tucked under his chin.

but tonight another set of arms wrap around them. strong biceps and ink blead into pale skin lay over james’ own. those long bony fingers skate over the back of james’ palm, the one that rests on the meaty flesh of lilys lower back, and they slot between his own. a strong jaw tucks itself over james’ shoulder and nuzzles there, warm breath fanning over his neck.

it’s sirius, pressed up against his back, spooning james whilst he holds his fiancé. it’s so oddly comforting to be sandwiched between the pair, his heart never had felt quite so full.

lily shoots her hand up and shoves sirius’ face away, and she tiredly groans. “your breath smells like cigarettes, dog-boy. don’t breathe on me, or i will kick you out.”

sirius snickers, and james utterly loves the sound. it contrasts the melody of lilys laugh quite strongly, and perhaps lily is right; maybe it is kind of beautiful how his heart can love two entirely different things, so intently, and so equally.

“please don’t kick me out.” sirius grumbles, tucking his face behind james’ shoulder and kissing him there. james’ heart positively somersaults. “i’ll probably have a bigger meltdown than james,” james kicks his foot back against sirius’ ankle, and he laughs before continuing, “i love you both terribly.”

this time lily is the one to kick sirius, right between james’ legs, “shh! don’t ruin it!”

sirius kicked her back, “he’s so drunk, he won’t even remember, mrs. potter.”

“he’s significantly more sober now, dipshit.” she muttered, “sorry, jamie, go to sleep.”

“oh…” sirius muttered, pressing his face into the back of james’ neck, “sorry, prongsie boy. we’ll, ah… we’ll talk more tomorrow. but you can understand, right? waiting so long and all-“

“shut up, pads.” james groaned, hoping neither of them could notice the red smatter of blush on his face or the lovestruck grin he had plastered to his lips, “i’m trying to sleep.”

“right.” sirius muttered, and shut his trap.

silence lulled over the room again, and james mind was so heavy, so desperate to sleep. however, his heart was hyperactive.

this was something.

oh, this had to be something entirely wonderful.

he wasn’t sure he could wait till morning to talk about it further. he just had to get one last word in before he let himself sleep.

“i love you both terribly too, i suppose.”

james fell asleep feeling much better than he had before, lily and sirius sandwiching him in; the shared warmth of their body’s settling comfortably over james. they were here, now, all of them, together. james and lily love eachother, and by the looks of things james and sirius love eachother too; and perhaps even lily and sirius might. but either way, james’ heart is too fucking full of love and he never intends on ridding himself of that.

they both pressed pretty little kisses to james skin in sync, and james certainly dreamed much more wonderful things than he had in a while.

god im thinking gale post war. he's got a kafkaesque middling bureaucrat position on government or perhaps something like 'minister for outreach' or some bs job. mostly there to be the attractive young face of the new government.

his friends are all 40yo rebel leaders turned bureaucrats and posy his 6yo little sister who writes him pen pal letters from district 12 where she is going to school (its an assignment where you write to a pen pal from another district and she was like i pick my brother Comrade Gale Hawthorne Of The Rebellion and the teacher is like well i meant another kid from another district but okay then.)

she's only now learning to write so its mostly little kid stick drawings in her new gel pens he bought her with a note from hazelle asking if he's eating enough and that katniss asked about him. and he reads them crying while getting whiskey drunk at 9pm. and he writes back like hello posy what a lovely drawing tell mummy im doing absolutely fine and please dont bother katniss about me but also is she okay does she talk about me is she happy is she mad please and thank you lovely pen colour by the way.

he is engaged to a female rebel about his age maybe a little older. i have named her evjenny a future dystopia spelling of yevgenia russian form of eugenia meaning 'good breeding'. because its funny to me for him to go full bolshevik. she's from district 5 a slightly wealthier district in comparison to the outliers like 10, 11, 12. she's a little uptight, very type-a, respects gale, loves the state, believes in black-and-white justice. thinks katniss is mostly a propaganda creation and that she's a little weepy but good for morale. has a pet bird she is wanting to teach human language to.

vaguely know each other from the little inter-district rebel communications that coin allowed. coin off-handedly mentioned that she respected her so when The Powers That Be were arranging propaganda couples to marry (they didnt call it that ofc) he was like yeah okay she seems fine.

meet each other at panem galas that are about like fostering relations between the districts. TPTB are like ah gale this is evjenny you are attractive young people you should chat. we did not plan this we did not have several meetings planning this. they bond over hating all the former capitol turned rebel folks.

evjenny (evjen for short, she says, because it is efficient) mentions that she enjoyed gale more than katniss in the propos because gale was an 'actual working man' as opposed to katniss (who is the equivalent of a kardashian to her). and gale is like. Eye twitch. thank you. i enjoyed when you organised that power plant to get blown up and she goes thank you it did take a lot of work. she is not joking she's just a very serious person. they go on like five 'dates' (paparazzi outings) and they agree to marry with a handshake three months after meeting. (there is a more official ceremony where evjen pops the question on tv with a sensible steel ring)

their marriage is like an absolute flop cos gale has a drinking problem and evjen is like if a robot was a 15yo girl and that 15yo girl got parentified because the russian revolution happened. she's not even like jealous about katniss at first until it becomes insanely obvious that gale has like deified / villainised katniss in his head not even deliberately she just represents the past/future he can never have. so evjen is like okay but why cant you just repress it better why are you making it my problem? this is not important we are literally rebuilding a government and you are getting winedrunk over your childhood situationship Man Up.

they have a daughter the first year of marriage who plutarch wanted to name peace but he got outvoted and they (evjen and gale but also The Powers That Be) settled on pax. gale calls her sweetpea :) pax hawthorne is kind of a child star from birth which evjen is fine with cos its for The Greater Good but gale is like. This Is What They Did To Katniss. but he cant say that because he banned all mentions of her.

after a few years of fail marriage they choose to get pregnant again to try and save it (BAD IDEA) and they have another daughter. The Naming Committee was a nine month process all the way till the fuckn day of childbirth. they wanted something evocative of olive branch imagery. olivia was considered but they vetoed it cos it sounded too capitol (plutarch was miffed about it and left that committee) then olive but since that's the skin colour they vetoed that too even though gale liked it. eventually went with dove :) because gale has apparently not had enough damn birds in his life

i think they do divorce once an appropriate amount of time has passed where its not bad optics. gale 3Ds (drunk, divorced, dilf) is very important to me. anyway this post is long enough my bad

Because I am feral for pre-game durge x Gortash cause villains in love that I don't actually have to roleplay is very fun for me to write about!

here are my headcanons for each of my Durges and their relationship with Gortash was.

Spoilers for the entirety of dark urge

Lilith x Gortash

Lilith has very low self esteem which stays a constant even when the game starts, yes this is because she sees herself as nothing but a monster. But oh boy Gortash came into the picture he started to compliment her and most likely told her "You know you aren't a monster they think you are" and she was so desperate to hear that from ANYONE that she ate it up

Like the whole plan to take over the sword coast and such was given to her by bhaal and she just figured "Okay I'll do it if it gets you off my back" and then Gortash most likely pitied her cause she didn't have anyone to talk to about stuff and just ended up opening up to Gortash and he probably felt bad that she was just kind of doing this so she could maybe have a normal life.

Lilith fully would sometimes use the excuse of "Gortash told me not to kill that person" so bhaal wouldn't punish her. It's not like bhaal is going to ruin the whole plan just cause Lilith is lying so she doesn't have to kill someone like that would be stupid.

After sometime of spending time together and just spending late nights talking and getting to know each other and several glasses of wine most likely or whatever other drinks. the two of them fuck and then Lilith confesses she feels quite deeply for the man, prompting Gortash to of course brush it off at first cause they're drunk.

After a while, though the two can no longer deny their feelings and start up a relationship they keep on the down low for the most part. Also keeping it on the down low in case things fall horribly apart either because of bhaal or some other reason they are both aware that this could go horribly wrong but it's something they both enjoy and don't want to let go of quite yet.

Of course it does go horribly wrong in a way neither could predict, and what makes it worse is Lilith was going to forsake the entire plan and just ask Gortash to marry her and run away. Now I like to imagine Orin hualed Lilith's body all the way to Gortash's office and then threw the corpse at him and Gortash heartbroken didn't know what to do so he tried his best to make it better and basically her corpse sent off to the colony in hopes that maybe one of the necromancers would raise her from the dead and well his wishes came true.

During this time that Lilith goes full feral he comes to visit her under the guise of just making sure things are going smoothly all the while just taking his time to mourn the loss of his lover. Now during this time I fully believe that Lilith had a note with a ring ready to give Gortash and he actually found it on Lilith's body and has kept it ever since.

Now onto the other pairing who is way more chill then Lilith is

Siliin(she/they) x Gortash

Siliin does have self-esteem issues but this is mainly whenever they get into the main game. Otherwise they just cant be bothered to look down on herself.

She concocted the plan by herself and started to put the plan into motion before realizing they needed help and then finding Gortash. Realizing the two of them work together well fully welcomed him into the fray soon after.

Siliin is more of a freak in actual weird fucked up ways then Lilith is and Siliin really isn't as disgusted by their urges as Lilith is. Like Siliin likes to indulge sometimes while Lilith will indulge but more out of habit then actually want to. Meanwhile Siliin they enjoy the fucked up shit, yeah you wanna eat this flesh off a corpse hell yeah brother they're all for it you go!

Now Siliin is not evil by any means, yeah she's fucked up in the brain but like she's not really going to go out of her way to be a bad person cause it just isn't what she feels like doing. Like besies the urges she has no real drive to do evil things.

Now Siliin also doesn't have a drive to really do good things either and therefore that's kind of why they work as a the dark urge cause they just do whatever is easiest and submitting to the urges is easier then fighting of course once they get into the game they actually do put in a little more effort.

Most of their lack comes from the fact they are constantly depressed about their life, but Gortash comes into the fray and suddenly they actually feel like they have a reason to keep on going. Like they don't know what it is about this guy that gives them the energy to keep going but she really likes it.

Like Siliin enjoys their late night talks and meetings and wine nights together. Eventually Siliin realizes that she has fallen for the guy, they don't really mind of course they just keep it to themselves for a while.

Until one day they are talking to someone and she gets asked what she thinks of Gortash and Siliin just gets really excited actually about getting to gush over her favorite person. Gortash overhears and realizes that Siliin might like him a little to much.

They two have a talk and Siliin admits to feelings right off the bat and Gortash accepts these feelings admitting he's been feeling the same and the two agree to start a courtship of sorts or as much of one as they can have.

They are having little dates and late-night walks together and sharing chaste kisses fairly wholesome stuff and then they go back to his home and they have some baller sex. Like full of passion and kisses and just all-around pretty good.

Then fast forward Siliin starts to just not care about the plan anymore and just wants to leave it all behind and run away with Gortash, now this time Siliin does end up telling Gortash the plan and he cant agree to it. They are to far in the plan for this to happen and this sends Siliin into a deeper depression than they already were making them an easy target for Orin.

Now Gortash doesn't visit Siliin like he did Lilith cause he cant bare to face her, cause he fully blames himself for the state Siliin has gotten in.

you were staying at ada’s for the weekend. she wanted to have a girls weekend and asked you and pol to visit her in her london home.

it was around 1am when the phone rang. you were suppost to be setting off back to arrow house in 7 hours. ada got up from the couch where you were drinking gin and gossiping to answer the phone. you could here ada’s side of the conversation.

“oh hello tommy” she greeted. “yeah she’s in the sitting room do you want me to get her?” she asked.

“y/n, tommy’s on the phone” she called for you. you got up and walked into the hall way. before you could take the phone out of her hand she whispered to you. “he doesn’t sound like he’s in a good state” she put her hand on your shoulder looking worried. this caused you to frown.

“thomas are you okay?” you asked in a sweet voice.

“i don’t know y/n. i can’t fucking breathe”

“are you physically hurt?” you asked him, a worried tone seeping into your words.

“no it’s all in my fucking head.” he harshly whispered. he sounded like he was in pain.

“okay tommy. i’ll call a driver and come back now. i’ll be home in a few hours. please don’t hurt yourself in the meantime. pour yourself a whiskey and do some work to distract yourself” you advised him.

“no don’t come home. just have a good last few hours of your girls trip with ada and then come” he rushed out.

“ofcourse i’m coming home tommy” you huffed. you weren’t mad at him by any means, you were more annoyed that he expected you to just go to bed expecting he will be fine in your absence.

“okay love” he whispered.

“i love you tom” you said as you put the phone back on the hook.

“ada i’m going to have to call a driver. need to go home and make sure he’s actually ok” you told her.

“yeah i’ll ring one for you, you pack your things” she said hugging you.

you went upstairs and packed your things. twenty minutes late you were ready to leave. “thankyou ada” you hugged her and kissed her cheek.

three and a half hours later, you were pulling into yours and tommy estate. you grabbed your case and got out of the car after thanking the driver.

stepping into your home, you quietly closed the front door incase he was asleep. you walked into his office to find it empty. you checked all of the rooms on the ground floor of arrow house before eventually deciding he was upstairs. you saw that your bedroom door was slightly ajar and you peaked inside to find tommy sitting on the foot of the bed with his elbows leaning on his knees and his face in his hands. you crept in and kneeled infront of him. slowly you reached out and gently grasped his wrist.

“tommy?”

“tommy?”

“thomas?” you shook him a little incase he was zoned out and didn’t realise you were there but he still ignored you. so you grabbed both of his wrists and pulled his hands down so you could hold them in his lap. eventually he made eye contact but his eyes were blank. asif he was a robot.

“talk to me tommy. please” you asked gently.

“i don’t know what wrong with me y/n. i cant get out of my own head” he told you. “i keep having this feeling that something bad is going to happen and i can’t shake it. after all this, the house, marrying you, becoming MP, i should feel like the luckiest man in the world. but i still have enemies and one day something bad is going to happen to you” he shook his head. you noticed a tear threatening to cascade out of his waterline and down his face. you were shocked. in the three years you have been with tommy, not once have you seen him cry or be so vulnerable with you. you didn’t show it though.

“tommy, i’m fine” you told him gently.

he shook his head like he didn’t believe you. and then tears startling to roll down his face.

you grabbed his face with both of your hands. you wiped his tears with the pads of your thumbs. “i’m here and i’m fine. nothing bad is going to happen to me” you told him assertively “so long as i have you to protect me” you added on. he looked in your eyes. you could tell he still has his doubts. you stood up from your kneeling position and place yourself sideways on his lap and faced him. you grabbed his hand and brought it to your chest.

“see. it’s beating. i’m not going anywhere aslong as you’ll have me by your side thomas michael shelby” you said looking into his eyes. you could see that it instantly calmed him down. he brought you close and put his face into your neck.

Arthur Havisham x Male Reader: just some headcanons, fluff, sensual, smut (just dont tell anyone)

Warnings: brief mentions of alcohol abuse, brief mentions of homophobia, some sexual stuff for once

- for starters, man's is not nearly as tough as he wants everyone to believe he is. I mean, he isn't exactly weak, but he's a smaller dude. i mean, he can take a hit pretty well without acting fazed, but he'll be screwed in the morning

- he is very strong mentally though. he has endured a lot of trauma and ridicule in his life, so he has learned pretty quickly how to be self sufficient and take care of himself.

- he is a huge sweetie. you'd never guess based on his normally larger than life and sour personality, but he really really cares about the people he holds dear.

- he always always always falls asleep in your arms. whether you're on the couch, in bed, or literally on the floor, he will probably start to get sleepy if you are holding him. the warmth of your body just draws him in and makes him never want to leave.

- since being with you, he has started drinking less. he says you "make him feel like he's actually worth something" so he tries to take better care of himself now.

- ACTS. OF. SERVICE. if arthur wants to tell someone how much he admires them, he'll do their laundry, was dishes, make a meal, tidy up the house a bit. he normally hates doing what he calls "busy work" but when it's for you or someone else that he loves, he will gladly take on the task.

- he is ALWAYS little spoon. this goes back to the "him falling asleep in your arms" thing, but he just feels so safe when you hold him.

- he's shorter than you. idk why I imagine this, but it just makes sense to me that he'd be a rather small man.

- when you are in public, pda is absolutely not an option if you want to... idk... stay alive maybe? this means you and arthur have to be very careful about what looks like two best guy friends and what looks like two gay men. because of this, arthur has started a habit of linking your pinkie fingers together when you are on emptier streets.

- whenever you give him gifts he is always trying to ask how much it was so he can pay you back. he doesnt feel like he needs gifts because he already knows you love him. you love giving him gifts though because he always blushes as he opens them

- since you and arthur cant get married, you did gift him a ring that he always wears on his left middle finger (that way he won't get questions about the "secret woman"). he definitely teared up when you explained to him that this was your version of a marriage proposal and cried in to your shoulder before you even put it on him.

- he falls alseep first, but hes a very light sleeper. this works out though, because he often wakes up in the night before you even fall alseep. this gives you a chance to have really intimate moments and whisper sweet nothings to each other in the few moments of privacy you have together.

- i like to imagine that arthur and amelia rekindled their relationship upon uncovering the truth about compeyson, rather than ostracizing each other. this leads to you being brought to the estate a lot when theh hold meetings regarding the brewery (arthur says it's for good luck)

- amelia thinks of both of you as her brothers. you are always invited to family meals, family meetings, and meetings regarding the brewery.

- amelia was never told about what your relationship with arthur actually is, she just appreciated that he had someone to take care of him an keep him out of trouble. she doesnt ask about your relationship eithier she just asks you how arthur's been doing lately. you are always happy to update her

- amelia still worrys about arthur after she found out about the abuse he endured, hence why she is always asking about him in private

- he normally keeps his shirt on during spicy times and when he sleeps. he's insecure about his scars from compeyson's abuse. whenever he decides to take it off though, you always kiss his back and tell him how strong he is and how much you love him.

SMUT STARTS HERE

- he is actually somewhat submissive, believe it or not, and not just in sexy situations! he just genuinely wants to make sure you're happy, so he listens to you more than other people. whether it's simple things like "you need to eat," "you need to drink some water, love," "can you help me tidy the house," to spicier things like requests in the bedroom

- you guys are pretty vanilla, as you try not to be too controlling due to his past. arthur always tells you he's fine but you worry, you also just aren't big on trying to control him anyway, you like how spunky he is.

- since we're already getting a tad spicy, arthur is a praise fiend. he loves hearing you tell him how good he's doing, some of his favorites include, "such a pretty boy for me," "my good boy," "just like that," and of course, hearing you chant his name like a prayer and the other little noises you make that tell him he's doing a good job. this also applies outside of the bedroom though. If he's performing a hard task or starts getting stressed out, hearing you call him your "strong boy" immediately gives him motivation to finish his task. Sometimes you tease him by giving him bits and pieces of the plans you have for the day and when he finally puts it together, he loves your almost sarcastic "atta boy arthur"

- when arthur does decide to take more control, you absolutely melt. I mean you love all sides of him, but it's just so rare that he gets the confidence to make you beg for him that when he does it, you immediately become putty in his hands

- hair pulling. arthur loves when you do it, and he (unconsciously) does it to you all the time. he absolutely melts went you pull his hair while he goes down on you.

- when you go down on him, he is very very reactive. expletives spill from his mouth almost as frequently as your name. he is so sensitive and needy, he doesn't even realize that he bucks his hips into your mouth and pulls your hair to get you closer to him. You dont mind tho, you think its hot

- speaking of needy arthur, he absolutely melts at your touch. you could be tracing your finger down his chest to his waistband and he would already be begging for you to touch him.

hii lira! ive been seeing a lot of wedding tiktoks (maybe a sign for me lol) but instead of actually taking it as one, im gonna tell u how i imagine ow wedding... and you really don't have to read this if you want to cus ...😭

first of all, the dress - since oc is THAT girl, i imagine her with 2 dresses, the main one and one for sort of like an afterparty? anyway i imagine first one obviously as a princess dress, not too huge but not too minimal. and the second one, something more simple - like vivienne westwood bridal dresses. though, with an original touch. i see her as a creative person and she just oozes the energy of someone that's different. (not in a pick me way). that's why she doesn't really "fit in" in the neighborhood - i see her wanting to do something completely original for her special day. so maybe self designed main dress and spicing up her other one. (personally, i rlly love this vw bridal dress, and i'd kill a bitch to wear it at MY WEDDING, https://pin.it/3dG0HSG - though, the original design doesn't include the gloves shown in the picture, so you can think of those as the special added detail.) but tbh, i'm not really sure about the big dress thing since i see her not doing too much, but at the same time, i see her doing everything she has ever imagined doing for her big day and i can tell that girl is a softie inside...no matter how much we deny it

the veil - i see her doing something VERY unique, like maybe sofia richie veil typa thing. maybe covered in pearls or diamonds for that rain droplet effect.

and i see her creating her dream dresses with designers she once worked with, because i bet she's adored in that industry!! so i bet they threw hands over who got to do the honors of working with her for her big day.

jk's outfit - well. i can't really say much cus men are basic... i mean who even looks at them while the bride is right there in all her glory? but i'm pretty sure he looked absolutely DELICIOUS that day. he definitely cried while oc was walking down the aisle and we LOVE him for that.

the guests - i don't think there were too many guests, but enough for the place to be filled with love. oc definitely doesn't seem like the type of person to invite the neighbors of relatives of relatives.

the speeches - OMG JUNGKOOK DEFINITELY CRIED HIS EYES OUT. i strongly believe that both their speeches were so so so cute that they still feel their eyes water when they see the videos of it.

the place - hmmmmm, i feel like it could've been in south korea, or if they wanted a more private one, italy or south of france maybe? and flying all the guests out, but that must've cost a fortune. OR JEJU ISLAND OMG HOW COULD I FORGET?!

but i see them getting married in the place that's really meaningful to them. one that's filled with great memories or the one they've always been talking about and planning on going to. since that hasn't been shown (yet), i cant rlly tell.

the venue - honestly, i haven't really thought about this one. it depends on the place they had their wedding in. but maybe a gorgeous beach view. a LOT of flowers. lots of lights too!

the musician - just because i love her with all my heart, i would hope one of them was none other than miss LEE-HI. especially the song "only". "On tiring nights and busy days, please make room in your heart for me to rest" like hello?? idk but that wedding definitely had everyone going wild, had everyone wanting to marry as soon as possible and she ended up on a LOT of wedding inspiration boards.

Ohhhh so I love your take on the Challengers and the perspective of all 3 characters. I’m from Australia so I’ve been waiting for the rest of the world to catch up!

I also interpreted the ending as Art winning. I feel like that’s the natural conclusion given the trigger for the current events was trying to bring Art back into his winning spirit. However, I’ve seen a few people question whether the winner of the match was more ambiguous.

I also think the relationship between Art and Patrick was stronger than Art’s relationship with Tashi and Patrick’s relationship with Tashi. I did wish there was more focus on Tashi and Art’s complicated relationship. Does she actually want to be married to him? Is she cold towards him because her competitive spirit is incompatible with his slump and wanting to retire? I think the back and forth between Tashi and Patrick made it seem like the story leaned more towards them instead of feeling equally shared. I’d like to believe Art and Tashi had something more despite the current state of their relationship.

Based on your interpretation of the story, what do you think would happen to the characters after the match? I don’t think Tashi and Art will necessarily separate… I don’t believe she’ll get with Patrick…. But it does seem like Art and Patrick’s relationship healed.

And I also took the end as Art winning mostly because of Zendayas reaction, she was really pumped with that "c'mon" and maybee you could say she's just psyched about Art getting his groove back and/or watching a really good game of tennis (cause I do believe she loves tennis and in some ways her husband) BUT I think the difference is even though she may love those things she absolutely loves and puts winning first. I think her reaction can only be because Art won. But again it's open to interpretation of course but personally I took it as a complicated victory for all 3 haha

As for the relationshios I would have liked a bit more insight into their marraige but I didn't mind the very outsider view the film took overall. A part of me wouldve liked more of looking into Tashi but another part loves the distance and being able to give my own ideas to her motives! I definitely think all three of them are quite selfish people and put themselves first at the detriment to others, although again ironically Patrick ended up being the least selfish to me in my opinion. I think Tashi had more of a love of being needed than maybe loving Art himself? But I do think she cared for her family I think she just loves tennis and winning more. Which hey cant blame her haha

As for after the match its hard to say what happened in reality but personal headcannon is Art leaves Zendaya after the match, BUT maybe still works with her. Zendaya gets her tennis champ at the codt of her marraige. And Patrick and Art repair their friendship (or mabes they get together like I wish they would haha) you could say Art might not forgive Patrick for sleeping with his wife. But I think that'd be hypocritical considering how he got with her in the first place, way I see it is their even.

BUT thats my own ideal version of events I do love that the film leaves it ambiguous and up to the viewer, really fabulous 👌

Gotta say I can't stand people acting like Appledusk genuinely loved either of his mates. He didn't love Reedshine enough to be faithful, and he didn't love Mapleshade enough to not canonically stand her up for weeks, nor did he care about their kids enough not to actively (if indirectly) call them mistakes.

And no, apologists, MAPLESHADE was the side-chick. This stupid idea that Reedshine must've been the second mate because she was pregnant later is one of the stupidest things you could possibly say. Why are you implying you need to be pregnant and/or have kids to be fucking married??

And slightly off-topic, but "Mapleshade used her kits/Mapleshade babylocked Appledusk!" Is all around dumb.

THEY ARE FERAL. CATS. THEY DO NOT HAVE FUCKING BIRTH CONTROL. What do they WANT her to have done when she realised she was pregnant? Eat a deathberry?

And using the first "Appledusk is mine, these kits will make sure of that" line as "proof" is stupid too. Look at the actual context of the line in the book instead of watching one YouTube video.

Remember also: Appledusk has been standing her up on their nightly meetings for weeks to the point she had to tell him she's pregnant at a gathering. She did not just go to speak with him "because she thinks she's above the rules." Was she just meant to never tell her husband who she believes loves her she was pregnant?

Mapleshade sees from where she is hiding when Reedshine walks up to Appledusk and cuddles with him. She walked away and saw another woman move up to her husband (who she believes is monogamous and not a prick having an affair, Maple has no idea she is actively his side-chick) and flirt and snuggle him. She just told him she is pregnant, and this other woman is flirting with him. ANYONE would get momentarily jealous at that.

And even in some universe Mapleshade did genuinely think something was going on between the man she loves and Reedshine, IT TURNED OUT CORRECT. Appledusk IS having a fucking affair.

Obviously, it's not Reed's fault, it's entirely and 100% Appledusk's, but still.

And apologists need to stop using Maple thinking about Appledusk when the kits are born to back their "she used them to trap him" bullcrap. Is a new mother not allowed to think about her husband and wish the father of her children could meet them?

And bonus when they twist everything to say this but completely ignore Frecklewish and Oakstar literally stating that they want to raise the kids as weapons and nothing else.

Honestly, I just can't see AFO being genuinely in love with Inko, even as someone who loves the dfo theory. We've never seen him care about anyone who isn't blood related to him and he mainly just sees people as tools to be used. If anything the Shimura Inko theory is true since I can see him wanting to marry Inko if she was Shimiras daughter as a haha because man he hated that woman. I think he wanted a kid to use as a tool too tbh, as another reason as to why he married Inko, but he does genuinely care for Izuku I think.

I cant blame you for thinking and feeling like that. You make very good points, because we still dont know much about afo as a person and of his backstory. And while Im convinced that afo DOES love both of them, Im very aware that I could be terrible wrong about it. But the thing is, hori did leave the readers enough hints that hisashi/afo loves or at least cares for his family and I will point out a few of that hints. But be aware that there are a lot more, I just write down the ones that come right to my mind while writing this down and other people here can also point out more.

But before I start, I want to point out something that many people either dont want to see or just ignore. The fact that afo IS ABLE TO FEEL LOVE FOR OTHER PEOPLE! That by itself is really rare for the big bad in a fantasy story and its actually the reason why afo is so terrible dangerous! Because unlike other main villains like emperor palpatine or voldemort, afo DOES understand love and unlike them he doesnt underestimate it or laughs about it. He is able to feel it himself - the first confirmation we had about this was afo telling his brother that he loves him. The problem with afo is not that he isnt able to love, the problem is that HE IS and that his way to love is VERY unhealthy and toxic. He himself sees no problem with it, because in his view its normal. Believe me, you would never want someone to love you the way afo did and STILL does for his brother. Its obssession and possessiveness. The kind of love that cant let go. The kind of love that makes the person ready to HURT the people he loves, so he will not lose them. The best example for a fictional character feeling this kind of love for others is anakin/darth vader. First for his mother, then padme and at least luke. Despite the not so popular option of most people, love is not always flowers and butterflies - it can be really ugly and dangerous. Villains like palpatine and voldemort lost in the end, because both underestimated the love of a parent to its child, because both are unable to love others and dont understand that concept. Afo on the other hand does understand, he actually TARGETS the loved ones of his enemys, because he is aware thats most peoples biggest weakness and can manipulate them with that - because once his brother was his biggest weakness too. But enough of that, now I want to point out a few hints in the manga of afo loving/caring for his wife and child. The thing with these hints are, that there are subtle enough, that people can easily overlook them or brush them off as nothing. A hint is only there to give the reader a faint idea about something going on, but not there to confirm anything till the author decides its time for it. So thats why afos care for izuku and inko is not very easy to see and only if you dig a little deeper and geither the evidences, the puzzle starts to take form.

So the first hint I will point out is what happens in kamino during the fight between afo and all might. During the whole fight, afo is pretty calm and collected, the ONLY time he gets SUPER PISSED is after he mentions izukus name and the confirmation that izuku has ofa - a very powerful and destructive quirk, that can easily kill his owner if he is not careful enough - espicially an untrained child. Afo calls all might a terrible teacher (as if he is not worthy to be izukus teacher and lets face it, all might didnt teach izuku anything important concerning ofa, except "dont let the egg in the mikrowave explode") and that he will make him regret a lot of things. Then afos popular quote: "you took something away from me, too". This "something" is so important for afo that he tells all might "thats why I will make sure, you will die a horrible, painful death." Japanese speaking people confirmed that the way afo says the "you took something from me" quote, he could talk about a thing, like his criminal empire in japan that all might destroyed, or a person/a family. But we have more or less the confirmation that it has nothing to do with his empire, because like 20 chapters ago, afo told spinner in the cave hideout that all might destroying his empire in japan wasnt a big lose to him, because he still has his hands in almost EVERY country in the world and "many loyal friends all around it." So that cant be what all might took "away" from him and he is so pissed about for losing, but also not ready to tell all might to his face WHAT it is! Instead he makes a secret out of it.

Also when afo arrived in kamino he destroyed the WHOLE place, except that tiny wall, 5 children hided behind and miraculously was untouched. Afo had "search" already at this point and knew izuku was 10 meters away from him. If he wouldnt care about him, he should have no problem to hurt him in the process of destroying everything around him, kidnapp him or using him as bait against all might. He even could have easily stole ofa from him, because at that point izukus will and confidence as a worthy ofa user was still very weak. Instead afo lures all might AWAY from the childrens hideout, never telling him "oh, by the way, your successor hides behind that wall", to weaken all mights posture and concentration. Also afo "send" visions of their own death to the kids, to paralyze them and root them on the spot. To make sure, non of them would interfere in his fight with all might.

When all might visits afo in tartarus, he confronts afo with the question if he wants tomura to kill him and izuku. Instead of answering him with "yes" or any other notion that he wants harm to come over izuku, he COMPLETLY avoids the question and changes the topic. And he does that all the time if something concerns izuku, he doesnt want to talk about him. Strange behavior for someone who is suppossed to give a rats ass about that boy and wants to kill him.

In the war arc, after the afo vestige took over tomuras body, he PUSHES izuku away with AIR CANON. The very same quirk, he destroyed kamino with and what was the end result? Izuku didnt get ONE scratch from that push, INSTEAD it was shigarafos hand that startet bleeding, because he holded the true strengh of the quirk back, to not injure izuku even more then he already was.

A thing that is also important to know, long before kamino, afo already suspected izuku to have ofa. In kamino he just got the confirmation. Not once did afo ever seem to consider to do harm to izukus mother. A man that is known for going after the loved ones of his victims, enemys and of the past ofa users. He had enough time. He didnt send someone after inko, or did go after her himself. He stayed away from her, a small and physically weak woman with a weak and untrained quirk, who cant protect herself against a villain, espicially one like him.

In the izuku vigilantes arc, afo told his minions to bring izuku ALIVE back to him. We know that afo had no problem killing past ofa users, despite them still having ofa at that point he tried to kill them. After he realized he couldnt steal ofa from banjo and en, he severly injured them and left them to die. He was fine giving ofa up. In their last moments banjo and en were able to transfere ofa to someone else. Read about ot here:

So if afo has no problem to kill ofa users WITH ofa, then why does he want izuku alive? He doesnt need him alive! The doc can take the quirks out of dead people and store them up. So why is izuku special?

Its also very sus that in over 350 chapters the doc NEVER mentioned izuku again in front of any other person, despite him knowing that izuku has ofa. As if he was ordered never to speak about him again, for his protection.

When afo spoke to izuku through the video message, he literally WARNED him, that he choose himself a thorny path and also tells him, that no matter how many people he will safe, all of them will lay the blame on him as soon as he is tired out and makes a mistake. Afo shows clear concern here to izukus mental state. Also his "in prison I never stopped thinking about you!" Big words from someone, who normally refuses to talk about him. Also when the mansion exploded, izuku had not ONE scratch on him and neither the other heroes. So for an explosion that big, it seems like it was pretty weak actually.

And now my personal favorite and in my eyes biggest hint that afo loves izuku. Afo DOESNT trigger danger sense! Thats a big deal! Because we know thanks to toga why danger sense didnt activate, when she tried to stab izuku. Because toga "loves" him. Danger sense needs malice and ill will to work. It didnt work with toga, because her way of loving izuku is "perfectly normal" to her. There was no malice, no ill will. And afo doesnt activate danger sense either. But we know, danger sense DID work around afo in the past, when the 4th still had ofa. Thats the reason why the 4th is the only ofa user that wasnt killed by afo himself. The only ofa user afo NEVER found. Because danger sense WARNED the 4th all the time, when afo was near and so he could run away in time and hide! Afo DOES trigger danger sense, the quirk works on him.... IT ONLY DOESNT WORK AROUND IZUKU!!!

Now I want to talk a little bit about afo and inkos relationship. First, I dont think afo fell in love with inko at first sight or something like that. If the inko shimura theory is true, I believe he wanted to use her against all might. More or less what he later does with shigaraki, minus the turning into a villain part, because inko was already an adult woman at that point. The reason why he may have fallen for her? Because I think that afo is deep down a very unhappy and lonely man, who suffers from abandoned issues (early death of parents, or they abandoned afo and yoichi at a very young age), because he shows clear signs for that, so afo had to grow up fast and also take care for his sickly younger brother, in a world someone like him was hunted and killed for having a "superpower". Thats where his obssession with yoichi came from - the only family he still had left. But while afo always took care for his sickly brother, no one ever really cared for HIM. And at that point, he was most likely still a child or a teenager himself. So when inko came and afo startet to spend time with her more (originally to manipulate her), he slowly startet to develope feelings for her (could be romantic or platonic), because she was the first person since yoichi that CARED for him. Not worshipped him like a god. Cared for him as a person! Inko is a very sweet, loving and understanding person with a golden heart. She may not be perfect and also failed a few times, but she learned from that and if there is something that makes inkos character stick out, its her incredible powerful love for izuku and her support for him. If she was like that with afo too, a man I believe craves for to be loved, it wouldnt shock me if he did fall for her. He even said, after he blew up lady nagant, that "the heart is an easy thing to sway", when she startet to believe in true heroes again. He said that as if he knew what he was talking about. And like already mentioned, not once did afo go after inko, despite having enough time and reasons to do so.

Now I want to mention the whole hades x persephone parallels. Afo is called hades at least 3 times in the manga and was hold prisoner in tartarus, hades realm. The thing is, in greek mythology there is no hades without an persephone. Both are the two sides of the same coin. Death and life/rebirth. So if afo is hades, there needs to be a persephone. And hades fell in love with persephone while watching her picking flowers. He fell in love with her beauty, her innocence and kindness and because she felt as lonely as him (because of her overprotectve mother "locking" her up on an isolated island). Hori used greek mythology in the past already and he knows of hades and where hades is, persephone is never to far away. Persephone is the goddess of spring and the name midoriya means "green valley", fitting inko way to much and gives you an image of spring time.

An other very strong hint for afos romantic feelings for inko, is what he ordered the aoyamas to bring to him when he spoke to them on the phone. He said "Im hankering for a good drink. A 40 year old macallan would be great." The aoyamas then tell him "how about a 16 year old, our son can bring it to you" with afo agreeing. The 16 year old macallan was confirmed to be a code word for izuku. So the 40 year old macallan afo ASKED FIRST TO BRING TO HIM, should be the code word for a person too and inko is 41/42 right now and izuku 16. Also @psychomurderz checked how afo says this in japanese and found out, that he speaks about that 40 year old macallan in a very soft and affectionate manner. He REALLY wanted that drink! But the aoyamas could only offer him the 16 year old. But he was fine with that too. You can read about it here:

Then when afo talkes with spinner in the cave, afo mentions his 3 main goals. We find out that ofa is only his midterm goal, an information that spinner surprised a lot, because he (and we) thought ofa is his final goal. But afo explains, that he planned ahead for a long life and that he "always wanted to have a chance for once" and he feels like, as if that chance is almost there now. So what is this chance? I talked about here in this post:

When afo shows up in front of aoyama and izuku, the first explains to izuku was afos goals are. To rule over the world by controlling the worlds ressources like water, electricity etc and economics. Afo then praises aoyama, but says this: "very good, but not completly correct. Is that what your parents told you?" So why is it not completly correct? And what is this chance afo wants so badly? I think both go hand in hand with each other. What afo wants to have and never properly had a chance for - is a family. Thats his final, ultimate goal! Yes he wants to rule over the world and shape it in the way he thinks is for the best, but he doesnt want to do it alone. He doesnt want to end alone. In the past he wanted yoichi by his side, now he wants his new family, the one all might took away from him, by smashing his face into a potato, so he wasnt able to return to them, because it would endanger them. Afo is not palpatine or voldemort, who dont get the concept of love. Both want to rule alone. Both want to have all the power for themself. Afo is not like that. He can love other people, its just a very VERY toxic love. He wanted his brother by his side, willing to share a part of his power with yoichi. Forming the world into a better place - together.

There are also more hidden hints, like the fact that hisashi and inko are STILL married and that hisashi is financielly supporting his family. If afo wouldnt care about them, he wouldnt give his money to them. And we know that the midoriyas live a really comfortable life in a very big appartment in a big city, with a lot of food and with lots of hero (all might) merch for izuku. All this things are EXPENSIVE in japan. Inko doesnt have a job, she is a stay at home mom. So the amount of money hisashi sends home is big enough that his family can live a very comfortable life, without to worry for money and inko needing a job. And afo needs exactly THAT money to financial his nomous and other criminal projects. And we know from vigilantes that afos minions are not allowed to spend more money then really necessary. So why should he send HIS money to a woman and child he doesnt care about? Right, that doesnt make any sense! Even IF he only cares about izuku, why didnt he take izuku away from inko years ago and turned him into a villain? Why didnt he kill her if she was just a birthing machine in his eyes and after she gave birth to his son? Even if afo wanted to rub salt into nanas wounds (by marrying her daughter), there was NO LOGICAL REASON for him to do so! A wife could give him a lot of problems. Could snitch on him to the police and heroes, if she finds out the true about him. If he was mainly interested in fathering a child, marrying inko makes even less sense. He could act as her boyfriend, promise to marry her as soon the child is born and then dump her or both of them. He deffinitetly wouldnt send money to them!

Finally I want you to look at this volume cover:

The hands here are afos. (No they dont belong to kirishima like wiki claims, because first, kirishimas important role is in the next volume and second you can see the owner of the hands wears a suit jacket and a white shirt, sonething kirishima doesnt wear in kamino. Also the hands belong to an adult). The hand over tomura is that of a puppeteer (tomura is just a marionette for afo) and the one under izuku, looks as if he is about to touch his face in a loving way. (Bakugou in the center, means afo holds his life in his hands).

So while there are a lot more hints then the ones I wrote down here, I hope it gives you some idea anon, why me and so many others believe afo loves or at least cares enough for his family. Of course no one knows for sure till its confirmed, but I think hori left enough hints and still does so.
