What is your favourite art medium, or what medium is your favourite art piece? (Or both!)

Hmm, a good question!

For visual arts:

These days, I work primarily digitally. I love drawing, illustration, and character design, and digital art works the best for how I work. When I was in school I spent my studio time on sculpture and mixed media. I loved using my engineering skills to make big, moving, interactive pieces. I lack the room to do that now, but I use those skills for scenic design in theater!

For performance arts:

I have a theater degree, but in the tech side of things, either managing or scenic work, like I said. I have done scenic design work a couple of different times and hope I won't quit anytime soon. I love teaching kids how to use power tools! I also really, really love playing DND. That's my outlet for my performance needs, LOL

For media:

I do enjoy movies of certain genres, usually spy-thrillers, because I love analyzing stories and plots. When I write I pour most of my attention into crafting an interesting, intriguing plot. I also love the more mature cartoons, usually for the visual styles and character designs, and the extent of different plot-lines and world-building. Plus, as a teacher, I'm fascinated with writing for children and how some cartoons successfully pull off more mature themes and balancing them with goofy humor.

I can nerd out about any of these, and they often overlap.

How long is an appropriate time to wait to post fanart of the latest TMagP episode?

Asking this before I post because:

I'm pretty sure it just came out today

It contains absolute spoilers for the main part of the episode

I'm still blocking the tag for myself (because I don't want to see others' character designs yet)

So! I'd like to hear the general opinion on how long I should wait before posting (and/or the appropriate tags for such posts/fanart)

Honestly, mythyk?  Completely forgot that line existed.  For the sake of Good G-Dad, Tommy doesn’t say it in this AU.  I feel like he might if he was arguing with G-Man directly, but he absolutely wouldn’t in front of Gordon.  This mainly originates from the heartbreaking fact that Black Mesa told Gordon his real family abandoned him and they found him in a dumpster.

So no, Tommy doesn’t say he’s an orphan.  If anything, he and his dad have weekly poker nights that get super intense.
