I want Caretaker to meet Whumper’s eyes. I want them to say to Whumper, very calmly, “I’m going to get out of here, and I’m going to kill you.”

And you cannot tell me that the Spider-Society was equipped to take in refugees, because just look at that place! It’s not built for community, it’s built for something else that doesn’t help her adjust or heal. And sure, she can stay in other places, other homes of other Spiders, but they aren’t hers. they never will be. do you ever think about the fact that Gwen probably had to bite back all of her questions, all of her fears, just to not get kicked out? To not have to go back to a universe where she thinks her father hates her? that he’d rather be a good cop than a good father?
