hi, firstly, thanks for organizing this even!

secondly, i have a question regarding the dark themes rule: i understand why bad brother hashi is forbidden, as it goes hand in hand with hashi bashing and serves only to put tobirama in the poor woobiefied position - but dark hashi doesn't neceassily also mean hashi bashing/lifting others up while hashi is portrayed as the big evil.

for example, if i were to write a fic in which hashi kills butsuma in order to save his brothers, depending on how bloody it gets, i'd call that dark hashi. or if tobirama were to die and hashirama loses his shit to the point he razes an entire clan to the ground in his grief and anger, i'd also call that dark hashi.

no hashi bashing is a perfectly reasonable rule, but the way it's put currently, it reads like "no ooc hashirama" and well, what's ooc and what's ic lies in the eye of the beholder, no?

i'm just a little confused about that rule and need more clarification if that's okay. thank you <3

Thank you for reaching out! The rule exempting dark! Hashirama content was stipulated under the assumption that dark!hashirama was to mean intentionally malicious or evil, rather than morally grey. The rule itself was worded a bit broadly, so we apologize for the confusion!

To answer your question- the moderators would not classify any of the examples that you provided as dark!Hashirama, so you should be fine! If you need further clarification or have any additional questions, feel free to ask us anytime.
