Server update! Cool new look! New feature!
Tumblr media
kobold is now running the very latest released code! It looks tons nicer thanks to a bunch of style work @jv did, and also includes a feature I worked on that I'm really proud of: tag follows.
Click through a post's tag, then click the follow button, and your timeline now magically includes every post that arrives on the server with that tag! (Except, of course, for anyone you are muting or blocking. They can continue to pound sand.)
There's no page in your profile where you can get a list of all the tags you're currently following. Yet.
There's no "Block #fandom" button, for when you are just sick and goddamn tired of everyone's blorbo and want the tag to magically disappear completely from your timeline. Yet.
(The backend code for tag blocking is already in place, it's just not exposed in the UI.)
If this sounds intriguing, you know what I'm about to say and you know it rhymes with "schminvite schmodes"! Between now and midnight EST Sunday, invite codes will go out to anyone who messages me. (Offer only valid if your tumblr looks like it belongs to a real human being.)

Steddie Soulmate/Met as Kids AU - Part 3 Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5 | Part 6 | Part 7
a/n: you guys are all too sweet - I'm so glad you're enjoying this little idea of mine, that has now grown into a 5k+ fic - so there's more to come!
Steve started high school with a chip on his shoulder; he’d done well enough in middle school sports that he’d be a shoe-in for JV, if not Varsity. He, Tommy H, and Carol had risen to the top of the pile, and even though they were back to being the new folks on campus, he was fully assuming that high school would be just as easy for him as middle school, at least as far as social standing went.
But as he got used to the new environment, he couldn’t help but notice the feeling of electricity that shot through his veins every so often. At first, he thought he could chalk it up to the sensation of being in a new place surrounded by new people, the hustle and bustle of it all, the independence of finally being a high schooler. It took until lunchtime during their third week of school to realize what the buzzing under his skin really meant.
Steve, Tommy, and Carol had just sat down to eat when Steve’s attention was drawn to a commotion on the other side of the cafeteria.
One of the other students (a sophomore, he thought?) had stood up on one of the tables and was speaking loudly to anyone who would listen. Steve was too far away to make out any of what he was saying, but he felt the hair on the back of his neck stand up and the buzzing sensation felt like it had been turned up to its highest setting.
“Get a load of Munson,” Tommy scoffed. “What a freak.”
“Munson?” Steve asked.
“Yeah, Eddie Munson,” Tommy explained. “He just moved here to live with his uncle - apparently his dad got thrown in jail and his mom didn’t want him, so he’s with his uncle in the trailer park. My mom heard about it from one of the secretaries at City Hall. Social Services brought him into town.”
“My sister says he’s so weird,” Carol added on. Her sister was a year older than them and Carol had taken to repeating whatever her sister had told her so they could start out high school quote-unquote the right way. “He wasn’t here last year, but he’s already been in detention like, six times for talking back to teachers. She says he’s the definition of trailer trash.”
Steve frowned. He tried to catch a glimpse of Munson’s face to see if he recognized him. Something about the way he captivated a crowd felt familiar. The buzzing sensation under his skin picked up again as Munson’s face turned their way. Steve snapped his eyes back down to the table.
“Whatever,” Tommy said. “He’s not worth our time, anyway.”
“Except for… you know,” Carol whispered, very poorly miming smoking a joint. “Apparently he sells drugs.”
Steve let their conversation wash over him as he pushed the food around on his tray. He had been waiting for the day when he might get to see his soulmate again, desperate to see how he’d grown up, if he still felt magnetic the way he had at the park. Now, it seemed, here he was. But could it really be him?
Part of Steve - the part he hated sometimes - was hoping it wasn’t the same person. The way Tommy and Carol talked about Eddie Munson made it clear that there was no way they’d ever want to hang out with him, even if they did find out that he was Steve’s soulmate.
“Steve?” Carol said. “Are you hearing us?”
“Yeah,” he said. “Munson’s a freak. Not worth our time.”
From then on, Steve was determined to see Eddie as little as possible. He convinced himself that maintaining the status quo and staying on the top of the pecking order was more important than anything else - soulmate or no soulmate.
Sure, he would still see Eddie around. He had a habit of showing up at parties he wasn’t invited to, there on business, as Tommy would jokingly say. Every time, Steve would feel that same rush of energy flowing along his side, where he knew the words hey, you want to fight a dragon with me? were scrawled. But every time, Steve held himself back, resisting the pull of Eddie’s magnet.
Even when Eddie flunked his first try at senior year and they ended up in some of the same classes, Steve did his best to stay away from him. Every so often, Tommy would try to get under Eddie’s skin, making snide comments as they passed in the hall, but Steve made sure they never lingered, reminding Tommy of his words in the cafeteria that day - “he’s not worth our time.”
By the time Nancy Wheeler came into his life, Steve fully believed that he could make a relationship work with someone other than his soulmate. Nancy had her words, too, though she also claimed not to know who they were from. For a while, dating Nancy was easy. It made sense: the handsome jock and the girl next door. If they just tried hard enough, Steve was sure they could have a good life together. People got married who weren’t soulmates all the time. And besides, Nancy made him a better person, and wasn’t that what everyone said your soulmate was supposed to do, anyway?
But then came Halloween, the word bullshit spat out in between sips of punch, and the revelation that Nancy’s words had come from Jonathan Byers, of all people. And Steve was back to being alone.
Or well, not really; because along with Nancy had come a gaggle of kids and the knowledge of things that he thought only existed in horror movies. And even after he and Nancy broke up and all the fighting was over - for now - he still had the distinction of being the best goddamn babysitter in Hawkins, Indiana.
So he had Dustin, and the other kids, and eventually Robin, and he was happy. Content. Eddie was still there, but almost in the same way he had been there before Steve had seen him again in the cafeteria. For now, Eddie was back in his memories. Steve was fine if he never saw his soulmate again - really, he was fine.
He could date, and hookup, and when he needed that feeling of something he would have forever that he could depend on, he could remind himself that he had the kids, and Robin, and Joyce and Hopper, and even Nancy and Jonathan, after a while. It was better this way, to keep that one perfect afternoon with Sir Eddie safe in his head, where no one could touch it.
Steve should have known that befriending a bunch of teenage D&D nerds would eventually come around to bite him in the ass.

Could you do fic for James Vowles with wife reader? A few days ago, it was one year for JV being William's' tp, so his wife organise a surprise party for him with the help of the team. Maybe a little surprise from her. You decide what it is. Just something fluff and cute. Thanks! :)))
Forever Grateful - James Vowles
Tumblr media
Requested by: Anon
Masterlist<3
Pairing: James Vowles x Wife!reader
Warning: fluff, bad English, adorable married moments
Word count: 518
We were all hiding for the surprise party, James was supposed to get home in a few minutes. I know he said he didn’t want me to make a big deal out of it, but it’s been a whole year since he started at Williams and he’s been so happy, I had to do something to celebrate it.
I heard his car parking in our garage and him coming up to the door, once he unlocked it, entered the house and turned on the lights everyone came out from their hiding spots, I was hiding in the kitchen with a cake for him, putting the cake on the table so I can hug him, once I reach him and wrap my arms around hm congratulating him for the one year in Wlliams he whispers in my ear smiling lovingly at me: “You’re so lucky you’re cute.” I smile back at him, we then go cut the cake so everyone can enjoy a slice, I ended up inviting everyone i could from Williams, both Alex and Logan confirmed they’d come and after me they were the first ones to hug James, he seemed very happy to see everyone here and we spent the next few hours talking to everyone.
Once it started to get late everyone started bidding their goodbyes and hugging James congratulations a last time and soon enough we were alone.
“I told you I didn’t want a party” James says crossing his arms jokingly, he was trying so hard to hide smile that was already forming, I try to hide mine as well and go on with the joke: “I know, but I also know how happy you’ve been at Williams, we had to celebrate it somehow and did you see how happy everyone was to be here? They like having you at Williams just as much as you enjoy working there” I say no longer hiding the smile, I wrap my arms around him softly holding him closer to me: “You’re adorable… And I’m glad you didn’t listen to me, I enjoyed the party…” He says, holding my chin gently so i’d look into his eyes, he let’s go of me for a moment, reaches for his phone and puts on slow music for us to dance: “This is how I want to spend every special moment for the rest of my life… Having you in my arms, party or no party… I love you (Y/N)... Even if you don’t listen sometimes” He says smiling at me lovingly, pulling me into his arms and we start swaying to the rhythm of the music, my head resting on his shoulder and his on top of mine. We stay there until the music ends, then we just stand there, hugging each other for a little while longer. Once we finally decide to let go of each other, we keep holding hands as we walk up the stairs to sleep for the night, today was a good day and tomorrow will be even better, because we’ll be together, so every next day will be better than the last.

Game Congratulations ~ Adam Banks
Summary:Adam just works so hard on the ice, so he gets his favorite reward:kisses.
Tagging: @collieflower215 @spaceagebachelormann @sluggmuffin @whyareyouhere66 @ilovejoekeeryy @juneberrie
A/N:despite the very sad going away of my TMD phase, I wanted to get this one out there. This was tucked away into my drafts. Enjoy!
This is x gender neutral reader!
Tumblr media
Adam stepped out of his dorm’s bathroom, wiping off the remnants of water that sat on his arms. His normally fluffy blonde hair was dark and damp. His t-shirt hung loosely on his frame.
Adam tosses his towel into the laundry basket and approached your place on his bed. He flopped down dramatically, sighing loudly.
An hour and a half beforehand, he had been on the ice. His legs were aching.
“I think I pulled a muscle or something,” he hissed, rubbing his calf. You hummed, reaching to run your fingers through his hair. He scooted closer, leaning into your touch.
“You did good, though,” you cooed, pressing a kiss to his lips. He squeezed your hand.
“What’s this for?” He asked. You shrugged.
“Just wanted to kiss you.”
Adam smiled, face flushing. He kissed you this time.
Kissing Adam was one of the best things you had the privilege of doing. His kisses were always gentle, and he always watched his hands. They weren’t gross or sloppy.
“Hey, Adam do you want to-”
The door opened abruptly to Guy standing in the doorway. Guy became Adam’s roommate after the JV-Varsity game.
Adam jumped slightly before dropping his head down and sighing. The Ducks always came and went into Adam’s room, always needing something. Athletic tape, an invitation acceptance…Adam just kept his door unlocked whenever he was inside.
“Sorry, were we interrupting…something?” Ken’s voice came from behind Guy. Adam’s hands left their places on your hip and in your hair so he could turn around. His face was bright red.
“No. No you were not.”
The two boys blinked awkwardly.
“What do you want?” Adam hissed.
“Well, we were all thinking about grabbing pizza to celebrate our big win! Orion’s buying!” Ken got very excited, very quickly.
“And we were specifically told to invite Y/N,” Guy added.
“Right,” Adam sighed. “We’ll be down in a minute.”

His first memory of his father is a happy one.
They’re at the park, the one that’s less than a block from their house. Steve thinks he was 3 years old, maybe 4. He remembers how high his dad was able to push him on the swing and how loudly his mother had laughed.
The world used to feel like it started in their living room, nestled between his parents on the couch. The world used to feel like it extended towards the park, or maybe Melvald’s, where his mom would let him pick out a candy bar and stretch to his tiptoes to place it on the counter. The world was his mother’s garden, his dad’s office, and all of the secret places he could hide.
When Steve started at Hawkins Elementary, the world was the spaces between lessons, when they were allowed to take a snack break. It was the notes his mom wrote for him, the extra lunch money his dad gave him.
The world was Carol and Tommy, who played pretend with him, all of them chasing each other around the school yard at a dead sprint. The world was Tommy’s hand in his.
Sometimes the world was just Steve and his mom, spending weekends together at the arcade, dad far away for important work.
When Steve turns 8, his world fractures with a sharp crack. He’s not supposed to be awake, but his dad is coming home tonight. He waits at the top of the stairs, just so he can see when his dad walks through the door. He can hear his mom in the kitchen, both of them waiting in secret.
Steve waits.
He’s startled awake to muffled shouting. His parents yell back and forth at each other until a sharp smack cuts through the noise. It’s silent. Steve goes to bed.
A teacher sees Steve and Tommy holding hands. Tommy says it was just a joke. Tommy stops reaching for Steve’s hand, so Steve stops reaching for his.
Dinner with his parents begins to turn quiet. Steve talks about his day. His mom asks him questions. His dad doesn’t look at either of them.
Next time his dad has to leave, mom goes with him. Says it’s just this once, says that it’s important. But not important enough for Steve to miss school.
The babysitter they hire takes him to the park on Wednesday, but she just sits on the bench. Steve sits on the swing, stationary. His parents are miles away, and the world no longer fits inside of Hawkins, Indiana.
Steve is 9 years old, and he knows where the leftovers are and how to heat them up. He knows where the first aid kit is. He knows how to work the washing machine. He doesn’t remember the last time he went to the arcade with someone other than his babysitter.
For Steve’s 10th birthday, his mom helps him make party invitations for everyone in his class. She takes him to the arcade the day before, and lifts him up so he can help put up the streamers before everyone arrives. His dad’s office door remains closed until the parents start to arrive with their kids.
It’s warm out, so his parents let them use the pool and run around in the grass.
His mom spends the day amongst them, but her eyes keep drifting to his father, who sits on the porch a few feet away from the other parents. His hand is never far from his glass, which hasn’t been full of water for a few hours.
Tommy gives him a handmade card. The parents make a big deal about Carol kissing him on his cheek.
On the night of his 10th birthday, Steve lays in bed and waits for his parents to come tuck him in. He listens as the shouting starts, and the footsteps stomp past his door, and the door slams.
People in Hawkins treat the name Harrington like a magic word. Harrington is a sure fire way to make more friends. Harrington gets teachers off his back.
When he’s 13, Steve’s teacher tells him that his daddy is a good man, someone everyone respects.
His father’s picture with the basketball team is still displayed proudly in the Hawkins High main hall.
Steve tries out his freshman year and makes JV. His father buys him a car.
Steve is 15, and he hasn’t heard his father laugh in 7 years. He’s 15 and Tommy thinks it’s cool that he has his house to himself more often than not. When his mom is home, Steve cooks dinner and makes sure that she doesn't hurt her neck when she falls asleep on the couch. When he makes breakfast, his mother smiles and ruffles his hair like he’s 8.
When Steve talks, she still listens.
Steve is 15, and he can’t remember the last time he sat at a table with both of his parents.
Steve’s 17, and Nancy Wheeler’s nose scrunches when she’s focused. Her face gets red and her eyes go down when Steve smiles at her. She clutches her books to her chest like a life raft when he leans against her locker.
Steve asks his mom how she knew she was in love. Her eyes grow distant, and she clears her throat. Says she doesn’t know, that it’s getting late and that Steve should go to bed. The sun hasn’t gone down yet.
Steve throws out the empty bottles of wine that litter the counter before he calls Nancy.
When his parents come home and see Steve’s bruised face, Steve’s dad asks him if he won the fight. His mom won’t look him in the eye.
Monsters are real, but he hasn’t hugged his mom in two years.
Steve gets another concussion, but he’d do it again if it meant keeping the kids safe. Dustin’s constantly hanging around and it fills a hole in his heart that he didn’t know was there. He suspects it's been there for a while.
His eyes still search for Tommy in the halls, his thoughts still linger. It hurts too much to acknowledge Nancy’s gaze.
His parents stay home for a whole week for Steve’s graduation. Steve only graduates by the skin of his teeth, and he sees his mom’s real smile for the first time in a long time.
His father spends the whole day - the ceremony, the pictures, dinner - stone faced and distant. Steve feels like a band that’s about to snap, feels the weight of the rejection letters like a sickness. Not even the group hug that the kids force on him eases the tension.
When Steve’s father finally yells at him the next day, Harrington feels like a brand, feels like rocks in his stomach when his father spits it at him.
It’s a relief to be forbidden from working for his father. It’s for the best, really. His mom sits at the counter, wine in hand, gaze fixed to the window. Steve feels unmoored.
For a brief time, in the summer of ‘85, Steve’s world is an itchy uniform, overpriced ice cream, and Robin Buckley.
Robin Buckley, who glares at him suspiciously on his first day, who doesn’t hesitate to boss him around, who rolls his eyes when he flirts. Robin Buckley, who’s laugh feels like rain in the summer, who makes Steve laugh like he’s never laughed. Robin Buckely, who takes over the register when Tommy comes in, who doesn’t ask questions.
The job sucks, as far as lessons from his father go. But Steve and Robin gossip about the people from school who come in, and they make faces behind rude customers' backs. They make up names for the regulars. They complain about the heat.
The world doesn’t feel so big for those few weeks.
Things change. Steve almost dies. He feels pain like he’s never felt, he realizes he’s met his soulmate on a dirty bathroom floor, and the world almost ends again.
His parents come home and his mom hugs him so tight that Steve’s world shrinks down to the space between his mother’s arms.
His dad’s hand stays on his shoulder for a little longer.
He doesn’t cry in front of them, but he grabs onto his mom’s shirt like he’s 6 years old.
He doesn’t cry when they leave again. He doesn’t cry when it’s just him in the house and he’s flinching at every flicker of the lights.
He doesn’t cry until it’s just him and Robin, curled towards each other on his bed like parenthesis as he fills her in on all the other fucked up things that have happened to those kids.
Eddie Munson’s eyes are a deep brown.
Steve Harrington is walking through an alternate dimension barefoot, but Eddie Munson’s eyes are brown and his voice curls around his last name like it means something.
Even after it’s all over, when Max’s arm is wrapped in a cast and Eddie wakes up in his hospital bed surrounded by The Party, he still says Steve’s name with care and reverence. Steve feels breathless every time he’s caught in Eddie’s orbit. Feels like Eddie’s laugh could crack his chest open.
Steve’s hands itch to run through Eddie’s hair, to twist his curls into braids like he does for Max. It scares him, how much he wants to be around Eddie. He wants to resist it, to fold it up and shove it in a corner. But the thought of being away scares him more.
So he visits Eddie every day. Helps him and his uncle gather his stuff when he’s discharged. Helps Eddie up the stairs to his new house, and reassures him when he apologizes for being weak.
Steve helps Eddie wash his hair in the sink. He can’t get his torso wet yet. His hair is soft, and Steve takes his time getting the tangles out. And when Eddie kisses him, it’s not scary.
When Eddie kisses him, the world feels big. When Eddie kisses him, the world feels like it could fit in Steve’s hands.

Some of my modern AU housing thoughts:
I’m sure the housing for students is predominantly apartments and dorms and such due to it being in a large city, but I just am so in love with the idea of there being a large, rental house that the varsity UW rowing team has historically inhabited for decades that has long since been nicknamed “Boat House.” Like there’s photos of past rowing teams and old oars mounted to the walls and memorabilia, kinda like how some frat houses look.
Our boys in the JV team, however, decide to refer to their equally large, considerably cheaper, rental as “Boat Home.” This is because one of them had a friend over to work on a project and they asked if this house was Boat House. One of the other boys, probably Chuck, hears this and scoffs and is like “this isn’t a Boat House this is a Boat Home 🙄” and therefore it had been dubbed “Boat Home” ever since.
Bobby Moch was probably kicked out of Boat House after he was kicked off the team (prob was moved to reserve and then let go at the end of the season, there’s no way he was actually kicked off mid-season) and he wasn’t invited back to be the coxswain until after the next season started, so I’d bet he’d be living alone in apartment. And I imagine that’s just super hard for him at first to live alone, but also extra difficult when all the JV boys are living in a house together without him. In general, living in an apartment alone is super difficult during college regardless of how nice it is to have his own bathroom and kitchen and such. Bobby definitely spends a lot of time at their house, but he probably worries about overextending his stay like he isn’t paying rent.

YOU KNOW YOU LOVE ME. XOXO, GOSSIP GIRL. ↳ a collection of sentences from the Gossip Girl (2007) series.
"I'm not a stop along the way. I'm a destination."
“Three words. Eight letters. Say it and I’m yours.”
“If you’re going to be sad, you might as well be sad in Paris.”
“Once men have tasted caviar, it baffles me how they settle for catfish.”
“Whoever said money doesn’t buy happiness didn’t know where to shop.”
“We’re sisters. You’re my family. What is you is me. There’s nothing you could ever say that would make me let go.”
“You can’t make people love you, but you can make them fear you.”
“Haven’t you heard? I’m the crazy bitch around here.”
“Here’s my advice. Have a little faith, and if that doesn’t work, have a lot of mimosas.”
“Don’t go all Notebook on me. Not now. I need you.”
“I have an idea for you: quit. Your boss is a bitch. Let’s go to lunch.”
“Destiny is for losers. It’s just a stupid excuse to wait for things to happen instead of making them happen.”
“We’re not servants to our emotions. We can control them, suppress them, stomp them out like bugs.”
“You need to be cold to be a queen.”
“Don’t let people tell you who you are. You tell them.”
“I didn’t come back for you.”
“I’ll just stay home, eat lots of gelato, and write about how true love is nothing but a myth.”
“I’d ask you how you are, but I don’t really care.”
“You know my mom: If it’s not broke, break it.”
“There’s something vibrating in your pocket, and I really hope it’s your phone.”
“I hate that stupid headband.”
“I remember everything you’ve read to me. In case you haven’t noticed I don’t really let go of things so easily.”
“I like the way I feel when he looks at me. Like I wanna believe in myself.”
“Earn the spotlight on your own merits. You’ll feel better.”
“Even if it’s the biggest kamikaze disaster of my life, it’s my disaster.”
“You are no one until you’re talked about.”
“When Prince Charming found Cinderella’s slipper, they didn’t accuse him of having a foot fetish.”
“I don’t read Gossip Girl. That’s for chicks.”
“So, actually, I’ll be living out my nightmare. Trapped in the city with only you to talk to.”
“She doesn’t know me. Nobody knows me. It’s cool. It’s fine.”
“Yeah, well, your fashion emergency was solved so I figured my work was done.”
“You can’t fight against who you are.”
“You gonna strangle him with your scarf?”
“You don’t just give up because things are hard.”
“You know it’s love when you start talking like an assassin.”
“I just want to be the person you can bring anything to.”
“Affairs with married people, threesomes — it just so happens everyone’s problems are within my area of expertise.”
“I just don’t get it. I organized everything the way she likes it. I mean, I even made sure my bowtie matched her dress.”
“Listen, there’s nothing wrong with keeping your options open. I don’t think your parents are going to be mad at you for choosing your own path. Unless… they’re related to my parents.”
“Some might call this a fustercluck. But on the Upper East Side, we call it Sunday afternoon.”
“There’s a weak link in every chain, and it’s just a matter of time before this one snaps.”
“One thing about being on the top of the world? It gives you a long, long way to fall.”
“So we should just be anonymous losers who eat lunch alone and never get invited to parties?”
“Well, keep dreaming. Maybe one day she’ll actually know your name.”
“The sound of your own voice annoying you?”
“Even you should know that jealousy clashes with L.L. Bean pants!”
“I came to tell you in person. You win.”
“The only human contact that you don’t pay for is the people in this house.”
“That’s not fair. Everyone’s topless on Valentino’s yacht.”
“You know you really put yourself on the radar tonight. Better not make that mistake again or you’ll pay for real.”
“Don’t look now, but those are the JV mean girls.”
“He gave six girls from Nightingale gonorrhea of the throat last year.”
“I wouldn’t have had to do it if it weren’t for your smear campaign against me.”
“If we wanted to have sex, we’d just go to a hotel.”
“You’ve come to my rescue enough times, let me help you for once.”
“I don’t need a guy to make me feel fulfilled, especially when he’s unavailable.”

Peter crushing on a popular reader who also like him back
Peter crushing on popular reader
Tumblr media
Peter started really liking you after you stood up to flash for him
you had helped him pick up his stuff after flash made him drop it
" I'm sorry about him, parker right?" You apologies as you bend to pick up peters fallen books.
" Its okay, yeah I'm peter, peter parker" He takes the books from your hands
" Nice to meet ya parker, stars wars right?" you ask pointing towards his shirt, " Poe and Finn are totally gay for each other"
" oh totally"
You had always been nicer to peter and his friends unlike other people.
After that interaction you become kind friends
you always talk to him in halls which confused him and his friends
" Did Y/N L/N just says hi to you"
" yep"
" huh so weird "
" i know"
You totally flirt with him all the time
I'm talking leaning against his locker flirting
Ned finds it funny when he finds out peter has a crush on you talk about a cliché
you ask him to come to one of your games which he does, you give your JV jacket to wear which pretty much kills him
Man can't help it he can't handle being flirted with without turning bright red
MJ and Ned just laugh at him
When he invites you over for a movie night you meet may, she doesn't know what to think of you at first but after a couple hours she likes you, She sees how you treat peter and approves
Walking him to class and waiting for him at the end
movie dates
him wearing your clothes which are a little to big on him
listening to him talk about all his nerdy interests

Goblin Invites
Hi! I don't know how many people know about goblin/goblinband (updates on @goblin-social), but it's basically @jv's personal project creating a fediverse lifeboat for tumblr. It has a very similar atmosphere to tumblr (even has a similar shade of default blue on the dash!) and tagging system (the main difference is that you can use commas in the tags). There's custom blog theme options, navigation bar customization, and a ton of other stuff. You can also follow/reblog people on tumblr through rss feeds, so you can still keep up to date on your mutuals!
Currently, there are like 8 active users and maybe one other artist. If any silm people are interested in joining, just reply/send me a message and I can set you up with an invite!
Goblin Previews:
(disclaimer: many things are rather janky because the site wasn't supposed to be released yet but it's functional! and fun)

Dear Eli,
I hereby give you the invitation to infodump about your chosen topic /nf
Have an amazing afternoon,
A sleepy but exited Jamie
(You do these better but I tried XD)
HELLO JAMIE THE TIME HAS COME!!!!
I was saving this until I felt the euphoria of a new hyperfixation, AND I NOW WELCOME YOU TO THE YOUNG ROYALS ERA!!!!!!!!
Suprisingly spoiler free but very long <333
Okay, SO!!! Brief overview of Young Royals before I get into the details. Its a Swedish queer romance set at a boarding school, between Wilhelm the prince of Sweden (Second in line but his brother dies early on and so he is now the Crown Prince (I really like how they pronounce that in swedish)), and Simon, a non-boarder from a poorer area. A video of them together being intimate is leaked by August (Wilhelm's cousin? I think?), and that is the baseline of the story.
So it seems like August is a really awful person, right? He did this truly awful thing completely of his own volition, and caused so much pain and trouble for these people. Objectively and categorically, this is wrong. Enter: thing I love about this show #1. THE CHARACTERS ALL HAVE FLAWS AND NUANCE BUT THEY ALSO GET REDEMPTION.
So August does a very bad thing, but we constantly see him feel so incredibly guilty about it. He tries to be kind to make up for the horrible things he did. The impact of everything that happened because of what he did is shown to have a major and very real impact on his mental health. And this is done in a sympathetic way. On top of this as well, is the fact that the other characters, Wille especially, treat him atrociously. He purposefully undermines August's power, blackmailing him and manipulating his friends to dislike him. We see that there are flaws in every character, and that one is /not/ better than the other. AND ITS NUANCE AND I LOVE NUANCE NOT EVERYTHING IS 'HES THE BAD GUY HE DOESNT DESERVE TO LIVE'!!!!!!
So yeah, August really tries his hardest to be kind to people, and he gets ridiculed and bullied by Wille. This isnt to say that Wille is completely in the wrong here or that his actions outweigh August's. Wilhelm has so much trauma. His brother died tragically and he wasnt allowed to grieve with his parents. He was forced to lie about his relationship with Simon. He was so alone and isolated. And he found respite in his relationship with Simon, and so when August took that away, he was *rightfully* angry. But he went too far.
ANYWAY!!! I have so much more to say buttt akjdsf i need to sleep!!
Oh, the first 5 eps of S3 came out today, and the final IS A WEEK AWAY AND IT ENDS ON SUCH A CLIFFHANGER NO YOU DONT 'LOVE SHOULDNT BE THIS HARD' NO THIS CANT HAPPEN ALSDKFJAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA IM SO SCAREEEEEEDDDDDDD LKJSFDHKA.;JV

Gynarchy Bill
Following the last national elections, the The Feminist Empowerment Movement for Demotion Of Males (FEMDOM party) swept the entire country and won a historic victory. Newly elected State Senator Joan Femino soon introduced a new Gynarchy Bill requiring schools to diversify ensuring all girls had an opportunity to join any sports team. At the last minute a few amendments were quickly added to the bill, with a rush to vote on the bill no one noticed that one of the amendments would ban all boys 16 and younger from playing in any school sponsored sporting events. The bill passed and was signed by the new female governor.
The new school year was an exciting time for the children of St.Andrew’s. The new regulations forbidding boys from playing any sports were not applied uniformly across the country yet but the feminist leadership of St. Andrew's High School decided to apply them fully and immediately. Inspired by Emily and the other football playing girls nearly 70 girls tried out for the football team. Coach Barbara Collins had heard time deciding who to pick so she created a JV team too.

For James and his friends, things were very different for the start of the new school year. The boys long ago gave up fighting and just accepted their fate. None of them were surprised when the school introduce an all boy cheerleading team coached by James’s mother Ellen. The former sports loving boys now found themselves in short white and blue skirts (the same color as girls’ football uniforms) and holding pompoms.

Emily had spent all summer at a prestigious football camp. She applied her new skills to lead St.Andrew’s to undefeated season and the all girls’ team was invited to big out of state football tournament where they planned to crush the remaining all boy teams.
Finally, the big game had arrived. Emily, Rose and other girls were not nervous instead confident even thou it had been years since St.Andrew’s, packed with boys only, had beaten their long-time rivals, St.Lawrence. As everyone lined up, the headmistress went to the mic and welcome all the guests to the big event, including State Senator Joan Femino, one of the headmistress’ feminist friends. Along with the Senator were a television crew who were going to film the event, broadcasting it on TV and an internet live stream.
Saturday morning was quite busy, Emily and the football girls met up with coach Collins for some final planning for the big game against St.Andrew’s arch rival St.Lawrence. Several of the boys from that team had made nasty remarks online about girls playing football. Ms. Collins had instructed a few of the bigger girls to make sure they got after St.Lawrence’s star quarterback Nick Harper. She told the girls I want to see his ass on the ground after every play.
While the girls focus on the big football game, James and his friends were busy with getting their final cheerleading outfits fitting. Karen and the mothers fussed over their son’s outfits, hair and makeup. To say it was torture on the boys would be an understatement. The mother’s on the other hand took great pleasure dressing their sons up for the big day.
As Emily and the girls battled St.Lawrence in a tough match. James and friends had no choice but to cheer in their pretty outfits waiting for the game to end. None of the boys said anything and just looked stunned and sad as they realized things were going to change forever. From now on it was the girls of St.Andrew’s who would be the sport stars, while the boys would be the ones forced into fancy frocks and made to look pretty.
At half time St.Lawrence took at 20 to 7 lead. Nick Harper the star quarter for Lawrence stopped and make several comments to James and his friend, “It’s too bad the boys of St.Andrew’s are a bunch of sissies who like wearing skirts and playing with dolls”. Ms. Collins overheard the comment and instructed the girls on defense to make Nick pay. Early in the 3rd quarter Nick went back to pass when Rose came around his blind side and drove the boy into the ground. Nick soon left the field limping. Emily rubbed his injury in, telling Nick “I am sure we have an extra cheerleading outfit so you can join the rest of the prissy boys”. Nick was furious when his coach would not let him play anymore.

Emily soon led St.Andrew’s into the lead and they end up crushing St.Lawrence 42 to 20. With the big win Emily, Rose and other football playing girls were big sports heroes. Thanks to the TV broadcast and internet live stream the battle of the sexes and the girl’s triumph comeback win were seen by millions. Recalcitrant schools and school boards had then no choice but to fully comply with the law.
Following their crushing defeat, the St. Lawrence boys' team was disbanded and replaced, like everywhere else in the country, by an all-female team, which is supported by its new male cheerleaders and their leader Nick Harper.
