SHODO VS 5
- by Bandai Shokugan
Quick Shot
Stunning detail work on this 3.75" figure - and it was from such an early wave in the series! It's no wonder that the SHODO line has become one of the best action figure lines on the market.
Great sculpt - especially the different textures on his armor. Some of the joints have gotten a little loose over the years - but nothing a little acrylic polish won't fix.
I'm bringing back the Quick Shots tag for these single-shot posts. The plan is to keep sharing these in between full galleries (which I would like to try and keep to Wednesdays and Fridays)
That should help maintain a regular update schedule without burning myself out.

Chat, I'm not. I'm not going to play Kamen Rider Chronicle. I don't care if everyone's playing it, it looks stupid. It looks like a stupid game and I'm not going to let the peer pressure of the 'OH AUH YO YEAH you haven't played Kamen Chronicle, how could you be missing out on this'. (Reading chat) "Freethinking Frederick." Sure. "Why do you hate genm games?" I've played Genm Corps games. I played them on stream. I liked Might Action X. It was good. I'm just not interested in Chronicle. (Reading chat) "He misses Dan Kuroto". "He hates Dan Kuroto". "He is mourning the death of Dan Kuroto". "HE *KILLED* DAN KUROTO".

Welcome, welcome, to the zero bracket!
This little poll tournament is about the number zero! Well, characters named after the number, that is.
This tournament is a character bracket, of course, with a couple of characters I’ve decided to put in already. Poll is ran by @zerosocialskillz
Who’s the best zero? Welp, that’s for you to choose!
Now let’s go to the rules for character submissions.
Da rules
All characters must be named after the number zero and its names in different languages and forms. (Rei, yeong, nolla, null, etc.)
If the alternate word for zero has a homonym that has nothing to do with zero (Rei can also mean ghosts, for example) and the meaning of the character’s name has this other meaning in mind (ex. Rei from Puyo Puyo), then they’re disqualified.
As much as I hate to say this, Rei Membami from The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles does count for the above disqualification as she was only named “Rei” in order make a pun. I think.
The name can be for an alter ego for a character, or in the case of the super robot genre or similar (ie, Gundam), the machine they ride. So if there is a superhero named Zero or similar, or if a person rides a mecha with zero, they’re in even if their true name doesn’t have the number.
Exception to that mecha rule is if the mecha itself is sentient, which means the mecha is qualified, and unless the rider follows the other rules, then they are disqualified.
The name itself can have more than just Zero. For example: Zero Two from Kirby.
If there is a zero before or after a numerical number in their name (007, 100, etc.), they’re disqualified as they’re actually different numbers (seven, one hundred, etc.)The only exception to this rule is if it’s all zeroes, as that is zero in of itself.
Fictional characters only. No actors who happened to play a character named Zero or similar.
Speaking of, if a character plays a character in-universe named Zero or similar, then they are disqualified as that isn’t an alter ego.
Please explain why the characters apply for the rules. I might reserch the character just in case you’re lying, though.
Do not submit the same character again and again.
The character you submitted may not appear in this bracket due to things (lack of slots, for example), even if they are not disqualified.
If you’re not sure if the character qualifies or not, submit them anyway. I’ll be the judge of that.
Remember, this is for fun only! Don’t take the results too seriously. ;)
Characters who are in the bracket from the get-go
Alumi from Taiko no Tatsujin (Model name is Waru Robot Unit 0/Waru Robot No.0)
Zero/Zero Two from Kirby (yes I’m treating them as the same person)
Aruto Hiden from Kamen Rider: Zero One (he transforms to the titular Zero One)
Zero from Mega Man X
Zero from A Nightmare Before Christmas
The number zero from real life
Submissions are closed.
Uhh @tournament-announcer
