i’ve been on a weird kick with drawing bgs lately but it’s always fun to imagine bkgs room since we don’t have canon to rely on
this was supposed to be after the OVA rescue training when bkg messes up his leg and kiri wants to help take care of him =v=

Raditz x Reader: A Dream Come True (Fluff)
.:.:.First POV.:.:.
How did I get here? All bandaged up, sitting beside Raditz who is unconscious, and covered in bandages and few stitches. See I was walking with Raditz, telling him about things here on Earth, and how much he would have to adjust when I was suddenly hit in the back with a ki blast. Raditz caught me and set me down, he was quick to protect me from who ever attacked me. I heard him fighting with some guy Raditz isn't on the level of Goku or the others but he was stronger than he was when he was first here.
Strangely I fell in love with the idiot, and here I go getting hurt and letting him defend me, what a way to show it. During the battle Raditz got badly wounded and collapsed, I couldn't let him die. I ran in the way of another ki blast, getting shot in the shoulder and trying to block a few. Burning my hands pretty bad when I deflected his ki blast, in a rage I used the Galick gun on him. Thankfully it killed him, which brings me here, in my room with Raditz resting on my bed.
I called Goku and told him of the situation, he and Vegeta are currently checking the area for more enemies like the one that attacked us. My back, hands, and shoulder ache from the burns, Bulma sent Vegeta here with some pain medicine for both Raditz and I to use for the pain for our wounds. Sighing I got up and stretched, I refuse to leave Raditz alone for to long, I mean what if he wakes up and tries to get up? Plus I have to thank him for putting his life on the line for me. Getting up I walked down stairs into the kitchen to get some tea when the boys came in.
"Well? Is it clear?" I asked taking a sip of my drink. They were relaxed slightly so hopefully they either took care of the others or there weren't anymore out there. Maybe both.
"Vegeta and I didn't sense or find anymore, though he found his body." Goku said with relief, I guess its a good thing there weren't more.
"He is a Saiyan, but the question remains why did he attack you and Raditz. Why had he hidden his energy and go about taking you out a sneaky way." Vegeta now spoke, I could hear confusion in his voice. Well no wonder I was out matched, but how did he out match Raditz? Raditz has gotten much stronger than before so how??
"Raise you ki if you need anything, alright (Y/n)?" Goku said placing his hand against my good shoulder, offering a gentle smile. Vegeta thought for a minute then stepped outside, minutes later returned with Nappa. Years back Nappa tried to attack me, he ended up doing serious damage to me and got his tail handed to him by Vegeta.
"Nappa will stay with you till you and Raditz heal." Vegeta spoke as Nappa sighed, him and I weren't on the greatest of terms but we will have to work through it. I nodded and waved them off as they left, now I'm stuck with Nappa.
"Listen I'm sorry about before, but at least we aren't like those two." Nappa said leaning against the wall, I hummed then left for my room. Nappa followed wondering where I was going, but froze at the sound of glass breaking. When he came running he saw I was supporting Raditz. When I opened the door to my room this moron had woken up and tried to stand, being hurt worse than me he began to fall. Dropping my cup I raced to him, catching him and holding him up gently moving him to the bed.
"Are you stupid?! Your wounded, and don't give me, 'I'm a saiyan' bull crap!" I yelled, but I froze upon seeing his expression drop. Sighing I lightly rubbed my wounded shoulder, looking back to see Nappa staring at me wide eyed.
"Nappa can you clean this up? I need to re-bandage him and myself." I said getting things together. He nodded rushing off to get something to clean it up with and throw the glass away.
"Raditz, I'm not mad at you. I just wish you wouldn't push it, you reopened your wounds for Kami's sake." I said taking his face in my hands forcing him to look at me. I could see pain both physically and mentally, physical pain I could understand but the mental I had no idea. Why would he be upset? Was it because I yelled at him?? No, we've fought like that before, so what is bothering him?
"Raditz what's bothering you?" I asked leaning up placing a light kiss on his forehead. I've always had a tendency to kiss his forehead or cheek and hug him as if we were together. He sighed lightly before lifting my shirt in the back, I froze when he did so. His hands gently touch the bandages there he moved the other to my shoulder. I pulled his arm off of me as I moved back, pulling my shirt off so he could see the wounds. I was wearing a black sports bra, like when him and I would do training together. He brought his hands up touching my back softly, pulling me closer to his form he placed a kiss on my wounded shoulder, and took my hands into his.
"I couldn't protect you the way I wanted to. In the end you still got hurt despite all my hard work to become stronger. I guess I'll just work harder." He whispered against my shoulder, but pulled back and looked at Nappa. Nappa had finished cleaning up the glass and was watching us closely, as if he was trying to figure out why we were so close. Raditz and I had gone from hating each other to best friends in less than three months, I let him move in with me and we only got closer from there.
"When did you get here?" Raditz questioned as I pulled away from him and got to work on his wounds. Nappa explained the situation to him while I was working on Raditz. Explaining how there is a chance of rouge Saiyans running around that him, Vegeta, and Goku were looking for a possibility of others.
.:.:.Raditz's POV.:.:.
Nappa being here normally wouldn't bother me seeing as we always work together, but (Y/n) and him weren't the closest. She lightly worked on my wounds, while he explained how that there could be others and Vegeta and my little brother wanted to be sure no one was after me or (Y/n). I hissed as her soft hands brushed my calf, I saw the stitching was ripped, yep that's my luck right there. She looked up giving me an apologetic look as her hands moved to the skin cleaning then re-stitching it shut. After she was finished she wrapped the wound lightly, I reached out and gently touched her bandaged shoulder. There was light red on the white bandages, she shifted so I could care for her.
"Oh, um there is something you should know, Raditz." Nappa spoke gently, but there was something in this tone that made me stop and look at him.
"Your parents and King Vegeta were brought back and are here." Nappa said shifting nervously. I was shocked in the least, I haven't seen my parents in a very long time now. (Y/n) leaned back to look at me, she then gave me a heart warming smile.
"I'd love to meet them," She said turning towards Nappa, "Can you bring them here??" She asked with a absolutely stunning smile. Nappa looked at me and I nodded signaling that I agree with her. He sighed lightly before turning to leave.
"Did I hurt your back any?" I asked in a hushed tone, she was right I shouldn't have gotten up like I did. She smiled and turned towards me wrapping her arms around me neck as she buried her face in to my neck.
"I'm way more worried about you than myself, but to answer you, no I'm fine only my shoulder." I nodded lightly wrapped my arms around her waist. There weren't many times I got to see her technically shirtless aside from training, but when I do it makes me feel nervous. I had what earthlings call a crush on her, but how could I not? She is absolutely stunning, her eyes, her smile, everything about her was just absolutely gorgeous.
"I love you." She whispered into my neck, I chuckled lightly and tightened my grip on her.
"You took the words from me, woman." I said kissing her shoulder, I was surprised yes, but I was more happy that she felt the same. She hummed before pulling up and kissing my lips softly, I smile softly leaning against her lips kissing her back.
"If your going to meet my parents you might want proper clothes on." I chuckled as she laughed sweetly getting up to get her clothes.
"Want one of my shirts?? You can wear my uniform shirt like you normally would when I'm not here." I said grinning when she turned towards me blushing badly.
"How'd you know?!" (Y/n) shouted in embarrassment, its cute how she didn't think I knew.
"Well, it smells like you one, and two its folded differently" I smirked as she huffed, crossing her arms over her chest. I got up carefully, gently kissing her forehead. She whined lightly hitting my shoulder, she took my hand and pulled me towards her bed.
"You need to rest moron." (Y/n) said as she left to get my shirt from my room. She was wearing a pair of (f/c) leggings and my black uniform shirt. I hummed lightly when she walked back into the room with a pair of shorts and a similar shirt for me.
"I like the way the shirt looks on you, it hugs your body well." I purred softly as I took the clothes from her.
"Funny, I think the same way about when you wear it." She giggled as I got dressed.
"We here!" Nappa yelled down stairs, I looked at her to see her suddenly get nervous. I smile at her lightly pulling her chin up so I can kiss her. I grabbed her hand and pulled her down stairs, my dad smirked when he saw me holding her hand.
.:.:.Third POV.:.:.
"Dad, mom this is (Y/n). (Y/n) this is my dad, Bardock, and my mom, Gine." Raditz said introducing you all. You smiled a waved lightly, as Gine smiled brightly rushing towards you.
"Oh you are way more beautiful than what Nappa explained!" She gushed lightly and she took some of your (h/l) (h/c) locks into her hand. Bardock looked at his son, he nodded approvingly causing Raditz to relax a good bit.
"Bardock isn't she absolutely adorable?!" She said snatching Bardock's attention.
"Yes, she is. Our son has done well in finding a woman for himself." Bardock said with a slight grin.
"I see wear Goku gets his looks, although I can see where he gets his personality and heart from." You said smiling at them.
"Yeah, he is more like them than I am." Raditz said with an annoyed tone. You giggled punching his arm lightly causing him to laugh.

Part Fifteen: Stay?

Placing your phone down on your bed, you walked back over to your closet, eyeing the two dresses that hung on the door. You’ve been fighting against yourself for days- wondering if these dresses really fit your body type. The more you stared at the dresses, the more insecure you felt. Admiring the smooth texture of the black dress calmed you down, the loose pleats falling between your fingers. It felt like for once in your hectic life, you finally had control. Of course serenity always comes to an end. “HOLY FUCK YOU’RE EVEN CUTER THAN I REMEMBER!” Mina’s shriek echoed throughout your home. “Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck” You mentally yelled at yourself. You knew Shinsou was on his way. Rushing down the stairs you saw Hitoshi walk through the door, handing Mina a bag of food while removing his shoes. Underneath his white v-neck shirt you noticed a small black design that wasn’t there before. Shinsou walked closer to you, placing his hands on your hips and leaving a small kiss on top of your head. “Hey baby. I figured Mina would still be here so I brought food for you both.” Shaky fingers made their way to the collar of his shirt gently tugging it down. “Toshi? This is fresh… I know it wasn’t there last night.” A deep chuckle slipped through his plump lips when your brow shot up in confusion. “I know, princess. After you left Sero came over. He wanted to use me as practice. Apparently he’s starting up tattooing.” Tracing over the plastic stuck to his collarbone you tried to make out what was hiding. Shinsou’s hands grasped yours, pulling them around his neck. “It’s just a small sun. All black. Nothing too crazy.” Footsteps interrupted your conversation. “So Y/n… food is getting cold.” Mina glanced at you two smugly before turning back towards the kitchen.
The three of you sat at the dining room table in silence finishing your breakfast. Occasionally your eyes would meet Shinsou’s, receiving a small smile in return. Mina’s bubbly voice finally broke the silence. “Thanks for breakfast Shinsou. Now if you’ll excuse us, Y/n and I have to start getting ready! Jirou should be here soon and Bakubottom and Kiri are already on their way.” Scooting his chair out, the purple haired man stood up. “No problem, Mina. I’ll be here later to pick you up Y/n.” Mina tugged you towards the stairs. “Wait-” You planted your feet and turned towards Hitoshi. “Stay?” Your cheeks heated up. Mina’s squeals became more quiet with each step she took up the stairs. Walking towards you he spoke “I have to go get ready too, sunshine. I have to look my best for you.” You grabbed his shoulders and looked up at him, his lilac eyes enticing you. Mumbling “Have Kami drop off your tux” before you smashed his lips against yours. His hands quickly found home on your lower back pushing your hips against his. Swiping your tongue against his lower lip. His mouth opened enough to allow your tongue inside. You could still taste the sweetness from breakfast. Tightening your arms around the man’s neck, his hands patted the back of your thighs, signalling you to jump. “T-Toshi” you moaned against his lips causing him to slam your back against the wall. “For fucks sake dumbass. Stop fucking in the living room.” Detaching your lips you turned to see Bakugou and Kirishima. Shinsou released your thighs, allowing you to slide down the wall, landing on your feet. “Sorry man.” With one hand holding your’s, his other reached out towards the blonde. “-’m Shinsou. Nice to actually meet you.” The angry man’s hand connected with Shinsou’s. “Bakugou. If you hurt her I will kill you.” He stared at his best friend. Kirishima tugged his boyfriend closer. “He won’t kill you. But you may end up in the hospital. Kirishima, by the way. Nice to meet you, bro!”
Summary: Y/n is a famous gaming streamer. Shinsou is an unknown homebody with obnoxious friends. What happens when Twitter connects the two through an unlikely way?
A/N: YAY! Another update! It took so long for another update bc i was dreading having to actually write plot. .-. does anyone even read this far down? does anyone even like my story?🤔

Cocky Hero Pt 3
Okay it’s a series now. Sorry I don’t make the rules
Hawks x Reader
Warning - Alcohol use, a series so probably should read the first two parts
Summary - You keep playing the game and now Hawks is stepping up his own game
part one  part two part four
Tumblr media
You feel weird waking up in the arms of the number 2 hero once again. You feel even weirder when he snuggles into your chest as your alarm blares.
"I don't want to be the bearer of bad news," You say you pull away slightly, "but I'm due in the office."
"Mm can't you just call in," He says. You chuckle.
"Unlike you my job doesn't wait for me," You say softly, "I'd let you stay but I don't trust you in my house alone." He sighs pulling away from you to lay back on the bed. Looking up to the ceiling as you climb out of bed to the bathroom. "Do you want a cab or do you plan on flying?" You say turning back to look at him.
"I'll fly," He says.
"Alright," You say, "I'll be in the shower."
You wave stepping into your bathroom. As you pull off the sandy blonds t-shirt you reach into shower to turn on the water. You climb in once the water gets hot. Enjoying the burning water as it hits your skin.
As you return to your room you're slightly surprised to see Hawks still laying in your bed. Now however he has his phone staring intensely at it.
"What's wrong?" You ask him, "you look like you're pouting."
"My sidekick is blowing my phone up," He groans, "work never seems to be done around here." He moves standing up to pull on his clothes as you move to your closet to get dressed. "So you in love with me yet?"
"Why would I be in love with you?" You ask him, "two hookups aren't gonna make me magically catch feelings."
"Hey don't forget the roses," He says. You roll your eyes.
"Hawks you're a nice guy but if you think that this is enough for you to win the game you are in for a rude awakening,"  You smirk. As you pull on your dress he moves towards you.
"Here let me help you with that," He says. You turn allowing him to zip the dress up for you.
"Are you ready?" You ask him.
"For?"
"To head out," You say, "I was serious about not letting you stay in my apartment. I barely know you."
"Oh come on," He groans.
"I'm serious you could be some weird panty thief or you could break something important," You say, "I'm not leaving you in my apartment alone. So when you're ready I'll walk you out."
"Let me fly you to work then," He says, "come on it'll be fun."
"Fun for you or for me?" You ask.
"For both of us," He says, "what do you have to lose?"
"I don't think so," You say, "don't want people to see us together and get the wrong idea. We don't want those rumors."
"Right," He says, "I- didn't think about that. Shit. Well I guess I'm going to go to work. I'll see you later?"
"If you're lucky," You say. You smirk lightly. He sighs lightly.
"You're breaking my heart babe," He says, "come on give me a little something." You lean closer to him pulling him into a soft kiss. He's clearly shocked at the action. But you break the kiss before he can full process what's happening. "Woah."
"Let's get you to work hero," You smile. You lead him out. Telling you the lobby security some bs about working with Hawks on some hero crap. But you know full well that at this point he's used to your crap with bringing home random people and slipping them out in the morning. "Bye Hawks."
He smiles as he spreads his wings out. Moving up into the sky. You smirk as you press your hand to the wall before stepping into your office. You see Kami smirking wildly at you.
"So I see my message worked," She says, "so when's the wedding?"
"Wedding?" You ask, "lame.. Nah we just hooked up again. Then we each went to work."
"What?" She says, "I saw you guys talking last night. Damn i thought that would work."
"Forcing me to interact with a guy you think is good for me won't make me settle down," You say, "it'll just piss me off... You can't trick me into giving up my game ya know."
"Game?" She asks, "Y/n this is your life ya know. Sometimes I think you don't seriously think about the consequences to your actions." You shrug.
"Maybe I don't," You say, "or maybe I've got a lot more going on underneath all this. Regardless it's not important. We should get to work."
"You always do that," She says, "you always make us move on! I wanna talk about you and you're life! We're friends and we've been friends for years. Just talk to me."
"I will," You say, "but not now okay? I mean this isn't the appropriate place to talk about all this."
"You're right," She sighs, "I'll get to work. Anything on the to do board for me?" You move grabbing a folder of reports for her to sign. She nods before moving off to her desk to get them done.
While you're working hard to finish all of your assignments. Hawks is sitting in the league's headquarters spacing out as Dabi talks about some Nomu crap. It's the same things he's been going on about the last week. Hawks can't stand to listen to it anymore. Thankfully today his minds somewhere else. Specifically on that kiss. It was short and sweet but man was it enough to capture his attention. He regrets not pulling you in for another one. But even more he regrets letting you get away with it. I mean here he is with you stuck on his mind while he can guarantee that you are cheerfully working with out giving him a passing thought. He's gonna lose at his own game. How could that even happen?
"Hawks you seem spaced out," Toga says, "you've been staring at the TV for like an hour. What's up?"
"Yeah man," Twice says, "what's going on? Don't tell me I don't care!"
"Nothing," Hawks says sitting up, "just ya know normal boring stuff. I'm trying to remember the last time I got groceries."
"Mmm not with that look in your eye~" Toga starts.
"Honest," He says, "I have nothing but boring thoughts up here."
Boring isn't the way he'd describe the thoughts that went through his head. It was a mix of filth and pure simpery.  He moves to at least pretend to be listening. He does have a job to be doing. He is a spy. He's supposed to be collecting information not daydreaming.  After a while he decided to just try to text the girl instead of letting her plague his mind.
Hawks - That's the first time you kissed me that wasn't while we were hooking up
               It was nice
              You're cute
             You know that?
Y/n - ....
You already falling for me birdboy?
Hawks - You wish beautiful
I'm not letting you win this easy
Y/n - I don't need you to let me win
I'll win on my own thank you
Hawks - Wow the ego on this on is insane
"Y/n are you busy?"
You look up from your keyboard over to Impression.
"Wow you are smiling like an idiot," Impression says, "what's that about?"
"Nothing," You say, "what did you need?"
"Uh you have a visitor and don't worry it's not who you think it is," Impression says. You notice a lady in a neat pantsuit behind him, "I'll leave you two alone." The woman offers me her hand.
"I'm Lana Okashi," She says, "I work for the Hero Commission. And I see that you have gotten very popular."
"Really?" You ask her, "in what way?"
"Well you are the best performing agent we have," She tells me.
"But thats not why you're here," You say, "I'm not dumb okay. I know when you guys visit and it's never good when you do. So spill why you're actually here."
She hands me her phone. A picture of Hawks and I at the club is pulled up.
"I assume you understand that we have only the best in mind for our heroes working for us," She says, "and we hope to avoid distractions for said heroes. Especially ones who work so closely with the commission like Hawks."
"So you think I'm a distraction?" You asks, "I'll take that as a compliment."
"Miss L/n I know you are known for having a cocky attitude but I'm sure you understand that being a distraction to the number 2 hero is damaging for our society," She says, "I mean while you are dragging him around how many people is he missing the opportunity to save?"
"You my friend are misinterpreting the relationship Hawks and I have," You say, "we are no more than friends. Are you telling me he can't have friends?" Your smirk is clearly evident. You know this commission bastards. They treat the heroes like tools rather than people. And you've had your fair share of run ins with them over how you handle Impressions publicity. "Now listen I'm sure you guys are pros at handling your heroes but do you ever stop and think about long term? About what happens when your puppets don't play along anymore."
If there is one thing the press gets right about you. It's that you are a bitch when you need to be. And well when the commission comes to mess in matters they don't need to well. It comes out in full force.
"I'm simply here to try to keep the peace," She says, "I can't have all of Japan suffering just so a whore can get the attention she's so desperately asks for."
You chuckle lightly.
"Oh you think you're so cute," You say, "flashy badge. Mean words. Catty. Now if you'll excuse me I have work to do. So security! Can you get this lady out?" The guards move from the door over to the woman.
"No need," She says, "I was just on my way out." Security escorts her anyway. Leaving you at your desk. Deeply annoyed. You are surprised one of those vultures came to express their opinions about you sleeping with Hawks. They have something to say anytime whispering fills the air about you ending up in a heroes bed. And no matter how many times you deal with one of them you won't ever get used to that attitude.
"Calling me a whore," You mumble angrily, "god who does she think she is?"
"The same girl who acts like heroes are simply toys to play with until they break," Kami says, "don't worry about her."
"I won't," You say avoiding looking over to the pro, "I don't let the pests bother me. Besides it's not like I care about what they say. What others think about my life style doesn't matter to me. I like having fun and playing my game. And if I distract a hero for an hour or two well whats it matter? There are about 400 others ready to save the day."
"That is true," She says, "well we better get back to work."
"Right," You say smiling at her. As she moves to head to her patrol. You pull your fun back out.
Y/n - I am very very frustrated
Hawks - Sexually or?
Cause if you are I can help
               (;
Y/n - Normal frustration
Hawks - Wanna talk about it
Y/n - not exactly... but just know it's your fault
Hawks - Oh come on what did I do?
                I'm on my best behavior
Y/n - Not you directly. More like the commission.
Hawks - Did you piss them off?
               Wanna talk about it?
              I can call you
Y/n - While I'd love to tell you all about how much I hate the hero commission and their slave like labor for heroes I don't think now is the time I'm slammed over here
Hawks - I could fly by to keep you entertained in these trying times
Y/n - You wish
Hawks - Hey I have a suggestion
Y/n - ?
Hawks - We got to my place and vent about life over a glass of wine
Y/n - and end the night in your bed?
Hawks - How did you know?
Y/n - I'm not all the up for it tonight... it's a whine and reality tv show kinda night
Hawks - We don't have to have sex
                We can just talk
I kinda just wanna see you
He's either playing his own card or he's working right into my next card.
Hawks - Of course it's up to you
Y/n - Well I mean I could always take a break from my busy life for you Hawks.
Hawks - I'll see you at mine then, about 6?
Thats when you get off right?
Y/n - Yep
        I'll be there
       You better have good wine
Hawks - Only the best for you
You smile lightly as you sit your phone back down to focus. At closing time you found yourself a little excited to see Hawks. Even if it was just to drink and vent.  After waving goodbye to your coworkers you used your portal to slip inside the blond heroes house.
"Well there she is," Hawks says, "I thought you weren't going to show."
"I got held up," You tell him. As you walk towards him you see him pouring the wine into two glasses. He moves handing you one of them. "Thanks."
"Well lets vent," He says sitting down on his couch. It's the first time you've seen his living room for more than a second. Its actually really nice and neat. A total bachelor pad sure but even with all the cheesy elements of a bro house it's still really nice. You start to wonder if he has someone else design and clean it. You sit down beside him on the large couch. Laying back against a plush blanket that seems to pull you deeper into the couch. "How was your day?"
"Fine," You tell him, "other than some commission lady visiting me."
"About what?" He asks curiously.
"Oh ya know about you," You say as you swirl your drink lightly, "I'm distracting you apparently."
"They know about us hooking up?" He asks.
"Someone uploaded a picture online," You share, "it was taken down as quickly as it went up but they still got their hands on it."
"How hot is the pic?" he asks.
"Just us talking at the club," You tell him, "it could mean anything but they know my track record."
"Track record?"
"You aren't the only hero I've ever hookup with," You tell him, "you are the only one trying to beat me in my own game though. If that means anything to me."
"Its nice to hear I'm the first to challenge you," He says, "I guess I never realized how much of a player you are."
"No one does at first," You tell him, "most only realize it after it's too late. Thats my whole thing. Draw you in before you see how bad I am for you."
"Mmm thats kinda hot," He says, "the whole dangerous woman thing."
"Thank you," You say, "it's my thing ya know." You sip the wine as he watches you carefully.
"Why do you do it?" He asks me, "the whole player thing?"
"Honestly?" You asks him. He nods. "Okay well I simply just want to live it up. I'm young and in my prime. I want to have some fun with out any ties. Find who I am. Experiment. I was so focused on my future in high school and college that when I got my job at Impressions agency I just decided to finally let myself enjoy life."
"So this is relatively new for you?" He asks. You nod.
"Yeah I've been doing it for like two years," I tell him, "like a month after I graduated."
"Wow," He says.
"Yep and now I'm a pro," You tease, "unlike you."
"Oh come on I'm a pro," He says, "I've been doing this since I was 18."
"And you suck at it," You tease, "it's fine maybe you can learn from me." He chuckles. "So how was your day Hawks?"
"Same old same old," He says, "paper work. Mission stuff. All the same stuff. It feels unending."
"Yeah I feel that," You say, "and you must be even more burnt out then I am. I don't think I've seen you stop in years."
"Yeah pretty much running on empty here," He sighs, "honestly this is the least busy I've been in a while. And here I am spending all my time with you."
"I'm honored," You say sarcastically.
"You better be," He says, "I could be cruising hella and yet I'm giving all that up for you." You smile lightly.
"I wanna know something about you Hawks," You say looking carefully at him.
"Ask me anything."
"Do you like being a hero?"
He's taken back on how serious the question is. He thinks for a second.
"Yeah," he answers, "I think I do at least. I mean I don't think there was every really another option for me..." You watch him carefully. He just keeps going. "I enjoy the job and helping people. But ya know I don't stop. I'm going so fast and I don't see an end to all this. The breaks on it are broken so I feel the only way to stop is to crash."
"Who said the breaks are broken?" You ask him, "why not bring them back?"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean why not look at your job a different way," You tell him, "you like saving people. And maybe it doesn't have to end with you crashing. Maybe you discover the breaks actually aren't broken and you get to stop the safe way and have a life after all this."
"But what if the breaks are broken?" he asks, "what if I'm destined to die in the end?"
"The breaks aren't broken," You say, "I have faith that you will get a happily ever after. You're gonna convince some poor girl to settle down with you and have cocky red winged babies." He chuckles lightly.
"You think I'll have kids?" He asks, "I never even pictured kids for myself."
"You can't keep your hands to yourself," You tell him, "there is no way you won't end up with kids."
"Wow you truly think I'm just some man whore," He says, "wow I'm a little offended." You laugh lightly at his tone. Whatever offense from the comment he took disappeared as he heard your laugh. He hadn't heard you actually laugh til right now.  It's angelic even.
"What?" You ask him. Confused as to why he's staring at you like that.
"Nothing," He says snapping back to the conversation, "alright its my turn to ask a question."
"Ask away," You say as you lift your cup to your lips.
"Why did you choose to become an agent? I mean that quirk of yours is hero material," He says, "what happened?" Your smile drops lightly. "Sore subject?"
"I got rejected from UA and from a couple other hero schools," You tell him, "the entrance exams were brutal for a quirk like mine. It's not combat it's rescue and when I tried to reapply to the program later in my years at UA I kept getting rejected. There was always someone stronger than me who could handle their quirk better than I could. So I gave up. I decided if I couldn't be a hero then I could help the heroes."
"UA is stupid as hell for rejecting you," He says, "because if we had a hero like you then Japan would be crime free."
You smile lightly.
"That's not true," You say.
"Think about it you could use the portals to transport the villains straight to jail," He tells me, "or stick just one limb in it to beat up someone. And think about partnering with other heroes. You could move them from one spot to another to work faster and handle emergencies faster. Those hero schools made a huge mistake rejecting you and they are gonna regret it."
"I hardly doubt that," You say to him, "besides so many kids dream of being a hero. And a lot of them end up like me settling for something else. I mean you're a hero you must of saw it when you were preparing."
He didn't. He didn't take the traditional path. He was forced into this career so he didn't realize how many people tried to get into this career and couldn't. If some many people wanted to do it why did he have to? No he shouldn't think of that.
"Right yeah," He says, "it's a shame though. How many people get barred from this job."
"It's why vigilantes exist," You say, "I actually considered becoming a vigilante but my mom was already sick at that point so I just decided to give up on it all together." You move sipping your wine.
"Do you have another question for me?" He asks wanting to change the subject.
"Sure," You say, "alright... why are you playing along with this game?"
"You're going for the hard questions," He says as you lean over pouring yourself another glass of wine, "you don't go easy do you?"
"Not often," You reply, "I'm just curious. I mean most people move on at this point."
"I don't want to give up," he says, "I wanna win."
"I respect that," You say, "I also respect that you are losing so bad." He rolls his eyes playfully.
"In your perspective sure," He says, "but in mine. Well man I'm doing pretty well. And I even think I'm growing on you."
"Like a rash," You say smirking.
"I'll take that as a compliment."
"Of course you will," You say, "you're too much sometimes you know."
"Okay my question now," He says, "have you ever been in a serious relationship?"
"Uh I dated this guy from my second year in highschool all the way up to the middle of my 2nd year of college," You tell him, "he dumped me because he said that I didn't make enough time in my life for him which was true. What about you?"
"I dated a chick for a little bit when I was 19 but it lasted like a month," He says, "never really bothered to do the whole relationship thing ya know."
"Does that count as my question?" You ask him.
"Well it's only fair," He says, "alright me again. Who was your favorite hero in bed?"
"Hmmm that's a hard one," You say thinking carefully, "Eraserhead. He was kinky as hell for a sleepy guy."
"You slept with Eraserhead?" He asks me, "how did that happen?!"
"It was easy Impression was on security for the sports festival last year and well I went with him to look at the kids for the internship and well I met Eraserhead and we started talking. He mentioned briefly that he remembered hearing about me when I was in college for some report on the dark side of heroes I did that blew up online. He wanted to talk about it. Share his experience. So we went out for drinks. One thing lead to another and we went to mine."
"Wow," He says, "I'm impressed. Honestly. But also tell me more about this report?"
"It's my turn to ask a question," You say to him, "my question is who the hell cleans this apartment? Cause there is no way you do."
"You caught me I have a maid," He says, "don't worry I don't sleep with her. I don't even see her most of the time. She comes in cleans then leaves."
"Hmm," You say, "must be nice."
"I've seen your apartment don't act like you don't have money," He says, "your apartment is a penthouse."
"It helps to work for a legacy agency some times," You tell him, "they pay nicely... I'm starving. I should probably get home and get some food."
"I have pizza on the way," He says, "I thought ahead. I hope you like cheese pizza."
"Sounds great to me," You say, "okay so your question."
"The report tell me about it."
You guys go back and forth for hours. Only stopping to enjoy your pizza. It's nice. You both are really enjoying it. You forget all about the game and instead its just two friends enjoying your time together. It isn't until you catch the time that you even think about ending the conversation.
"It's 2 am," You tell him, "oh my god I need to get home."
"You can stay here," He offers, "I have a guest bedroom."
"You don't want me to stay in your room?" You ask him.
"I mean if you want to I won't stop you," He says, "but I figured you'd be more comfortable in your own space."
"Thats really sweet," You say to him, "I'd like that."
"You want a shirt to sleep in?" You nod. He moves going to grab a shirt for you as you place the two wine glasses into the kitchen. When he comes back he moves leading you through the house to the guest room.
"I'll see you in the morning," He says.
"Night Hawks," you say to him. You move pecking his cheek. He smirks lightly.
"Night Y/n."

THE SAIMON FAMILY CASE recaps [8/13]
In which we meet the children, Ajiro becomes a Big Damn Hero, and the detectives get a tour combined with even more explanations about magic.
--
Waiting for the morning of January 19th to arrive, Ajiro and Kirigirisu discuss the case once more.
If Tamako was murdered, then how? Did seeing the curtain change colors shock her to death? Kirigirisu muses that since the family is full of magicians, maybe someone hypnotized her in such a way that the color change was a signal for her to drop dead. Ajiro replies that it’s not plausible; hypnosis can’t actually make the subject do something they wouldn’t want to do on at least some level. Hypnotizing even someone with suicidal tendencies into dying would be pretty hard. A more plausible option is that Tamako was already dead before her wheelchair was moved to the stage. If so, then Akiko who brought her there would be the obvious suspect.
The problem is that Akiko was the next person to die. However, if her death really was a murder, then the culprit chose a very unreliable killing method, so maybe it really was just an accident.
Yuuta’s death was likely a murder. The witnesses claimed they saw a man digging a hole in the sand, but maybe that man was actually the culprit burying the body.
Daisen could very well have been murdered; if Takayoshi made it into the mountains and performed the switch without being spotted, then an assassin also could have hidden somewhere. Ajiro theorizes that maybe Yuuta went to Tottori using Daisen’s car, then got murdered, which would make Daisen believe he himself was the intended target. Of course, everything is just a hypothesis.
“The first thing we should be trying to learn is who is targeting who,” Ajiro says. “The target may be Fujita-gumi, but at the same time it may be the Saimons… I think we should keep an eye on the Tsukumos and Tousens as well. I don’t really have a tangible plan on how to do it yet, but—Tensui, you’re here, aren’t you.”
The sliding door to their room moves aside revealing Tensui standing quietly in the dark hallway.
“I had a feeling someone was there,” Ajiro says without surprise while Kirigirisu as always has to take a moment to calm down his pulse.
Just like before, the conversation between the three is done through writing. Tensui proposes that he and Miku will keep the Saimon household under close observation throughout the day.
Kirigirisu has a strange feeling that maybe Tensui is actually the murderer, grasping the chance to get closer to his next victim… but no, that would be stupid, considering the next victim may not even live in Kami-Saimon, and with two Tensuis in existence one could still move freely even if the other one was stuck somewhere.
The detectives can likely trust Takayoshi to keep an eye on the Fujita household too. That awkward anxious man is the last person Kirigirisu would suspect of murder.
This leaves one problem: if one Tensui is going to be watching his family all day, how will he know what the other Tensui is doing and if he’s not in danger?
Do not worry about it, Tensui writes. Whenever I’m out and about, the other I always secludes himself in the shrine. No one other than us can enter it.
By “the shrine”, he means the building on the little island in the middle of the garden’s pond. Before Tensui leaves the room to hide, he asks them to show up at the pond a little later.
--
In the morning, Ajiro and Kirigirisu take a walk through Kami-Saimon’s splendid garden, wondrous in the middle of a bright winter day. The shrine Tensui talked about is visible on the little island at their big koi pond, Ryuugaike. With its octagonal base and roof, the shrine looks highly similar to the famous Yumedono, the “Hall of Dreams” of Houryuu-ji Temple in Ikaruga.
Once the detectives make a circle around the pond, Kirigirisu realizes that not only does the shrine not have any visible entrance, there isn’t even a bridge leading to the island.
“The shrine is called Seiryoin,” Ajiro informs him.
Seiryoin… Kirigirisu imagines it might be written 清涼院 [like the JDC writer’s name], a fitting name for this “pure” and “bright” “temple”. Ajiro doesn’t actually know how the name is supposed to be written, but his pick would be 静療院, a temple of “quiet” “recuperation”. Maybe neither way is correct, who knows.
The detectives are waiting on the shore for Tensui when someone suddenly appears next to them. “Suddenly appears” seems like the right phrase to use, considering the man’s footprints begin in the middle of the snowy field as if he teleported there.
The man is, even more surprisingly, not Soga Tensui, but that quiet contemplative man who played the afro clown in the show: Saimon Akio. (Tamako’s grandson, Akiko’s son, Takayoshi’s and Taishi’s brother.)
“Good morning! Indeed what a good morning we have,” Akio greets them with a kind expression. “But more importantly—look over there!”
He points towards the island, where in front of their very eyes Soga Tensui emerges from the doorless shrine, seemingly phasing out through the stone wall. Then he starts walking into the lake—no, walking on the lake, getting only his soles wet, and casually makes it to the other side away from the detectives. His famous Sea Walk.
“Anyway, I’m going to be the one guiding you around today,” Akio says. It’s only expected, seeing as Tensui will be busy keeping an eye on the house.
--
Akio gives them a sightseeing car trip around town—Tsuwano is small enough that it’s not a far journey. The detectives climb the local torii to get a full look at the town from up high. It’s easy to notice where the Tsukumos and Tousens live; it’s a surprisingly wide space south of town, full of various buildings and trailer houses. The two families’ houses are actually connected with Shimo-Saimon into one complex, demonstrating just how closely their lives are intertwined. The entire complex is called Sanasou (山烏荘)—a strange wordplay on the phrase “the trio’s house” (三羽烏の家).
Akio drives them to Sanasou. As soon as they arrive, they spot a few snowmen and a lot of tiny footprints on the ground, and then several curious children come running their way, some happily shouting seeing Akio. A few kids are still holding snowballs; it seems the adults interrupted one fierce battle.
The oldest child present is Tousen Matoki, looking around grade school age and acting like he’s the kids’ leader.
“Look, look!” Matoki does the thing where you put your right hand in your left jacket sleeve and left hand in your right sleeve, and makes an attempt at a dignified princely expression. “I’m Shoutoku Taishi!”
“Oh come on, Maji-chan, you do this every time,” comments the girl next to him. It’s Matoki’s sister Yomiko, the one who played Koyomi. She may have looked older on stage, and may have seemed a bit creepy with her staring back that one time, but with kids her age around she turns out to be a really nice girl. The nickname Maji-chan probably came from an alternative reading of Matoki’s name and is of course a horrible pun on the word “magician”.
Matoki and Yomiko act quite brave and natural in front of adults they barely know. In comparison, the other girl present—Tsukumo Emu—is hiding behind Yomiko’s back, and even further behind them, keeping careful distance, staring at the adults cautiously, are Tensui’s twin sons, Juku and Joukei.
The twins look pretty much identical, but after several meetings with the family Kirigirisu has learned to somewhat differentiate between them. Joukei is the one lacking confidence and with constant scared look in his eyes. Juku’s eyes just seem emotionless and unimpressed. Though their intense, somehow unnaturally pretty stares are filled with different emotions, they equally make Kirigirisu feel like his consciousness is trying to slip away.
It’s hard to believe that either of the twins would play the cheerful, energetic role of Kotensui. The puppet’s voice must have been dubbed over by another boy.
Apparently the twins got here from Kami-Saimon on their bikes to play with the other children.
“Chisato and Chiaki already got here too,” Joukei informs in a timid voice.
Juku mutters something too low to be heard.
“What did you say, Juku-sama?” Yomiko asks. (Why the ultra-honorifics among children?, Kirigirisu thinks in surprise.)
Beautifully expressionless Juku mutters the same thing a bit louder. It sounds like Kudaranai… Ima wa kudaranai yo… Huh? “This is stupid”? “It’s useless now”? What is?
Before Kirigirisu can figure it out, they hear a woman scream at the top of her lungs.
“Ria! Koma! NEMU!”
Everyone turns to see the most unusual scene. Two Shetland Sheepdogs are running towards them at breakneck speed, pulling a sled with a crying tiny girl—Tsukumo Nemu—and being chased by the trio of Nemu’s terrified mother Yumeji, Matoki and Yomiko’s mother Maki, and the only still single Tsukumo sibling Ranma. Several white doves are flying around in chaos.
“What the… Nemu, watch out!” Akio shouts and runs towards her, Ajiro instantly joining his side.
Before they can reach the sled, the dogs see them approach and react with a sudden swerve, the force involved sending little Nemu flying high in the air.
In an instant, something similar to two long poles zooms past Kirigirisu. He glances back: Kotensui’s Magic Hands are being deployed out of Juku’s sleeves. They reach towards Nemu, and barely, just barely—
—miss their mark.
But Ajiro is already close enough, jumps in the air and grabs the girl before she can hit the ground. Nemu is safe in his arms.
Once everyone catches their breath, the newly arrived adults explain what happened. The dog sled is a toy strictly for the older kids. Nemu had to jump on when no one was looking, scaring the dogs and making them run for the hills.
The white doves flying around belong to Tsukumo Ranma, who takes care of the family’s aviary. Though in his late twenties, he still has a lot of a cheerful child left in him, and perhaps because of that all the kids in the family love him. When the sled incident happened, he was in the middle of loading doves up his sleeves to surprise the children with a Channing Pollock-style illusion, and the birds got out in the chaos.
Teary-eyed Yumeji thanks again and again for saving her daughter. It looks like Ajiro became an instant hit with the kids, too, graduating from an adult stranger to someone they can trust. Even shy Joukei and Emu, even stoic Juku are all smiling at him.
For some reason, Juku’s look of approval and respect towards Ajiro leaves an especially deep impression on Kirigirisu.
--
Akio leads them to the training studio. A few girls are already there: Chisato and Chiaki (Akio’s daughters) along with Akiko (Taishi’s daughter) are training their ribbon-hula hoop routine, while slightly older Tsukumo Seika observes them with a critical eye. The girls stop, not wanting to show the secret to outsiders, but Akio assures them it’s fine; Tensui actually wants them to explain the method to the detectives. Akio leaves for a moment to change into his costume while the girls perform the illusion.
Just like in the show, the girls dance with ribbons which suddenly turn into hula hoops. Chiaki and Chisato successfully make their moving hoops link together, Akiko approaches with her own, and—all the hoops clang down to the ground.
“What are you doing, Akiko?!” Seika yells.
While Akiko is staring on the floor with tears in her eyes, Kirigirisu takes a glance at the hoops… which turn out not to be as normal as he thought.
“She didn’t do it on purpose,” says Akio, suddenly showing up next to them in his clown costume, though without makeup. (How can this man just keep appearing out of thin air?) He picks up a hula hoop and it suddenly returns to being a ribbon with a sound like tape measure retracting.
Akio explains that the ribbon-hoop is a magic prop. What looks like the ribbon’s handle is actually hiding the entire hoop, which can zoom out telescopically in an instant. The resulting hula hoop isn’t actually a closed ring, but has an opening small enough that it can’t be seen while moving fast. The illusion of the Linking Hula Hoops is basically an unusual variation of the famous Linking Rings.
“But linking the hoops while moving so fast… could anyone accomplish such a feat?” Kirigirisu asks despite having already witnessed it a few times.
“We are the Circus of Magic,” Akio says. “Any illusion requires training to polish one’s technique, especially circus acts combined with magic. That’s why these girls are practicing hard every day.”
“And apparently can’t focus at all lately!” Seika comments harshly, but calms down a little when Akio asks her to demonstrate a few more illusions with him.
Akio and Seika first set up the little table from two planks; this too is apparently a special tool that can be bought in a magic shop. Then Akio produces three red balls out of nowhere and passes them to Seika, who turns them white with a stroke. Kirigirisu inspects the balls and realizes they are reversible, just like that handkerchief changing colors that Tensui showed him. (Even stern Seika looks tickled seeing Kirigirisu’s child-like joy as he keeps changing the ball’s color back and forth.)
Akio demonstrates the next part: turning the balls into long pins by inserting them into an empty tube.
“Are you familiar with Doraemon?” he asks.
“Dorae… it that also an illusion?” Kirigiru doesn’t understand why the girls start laughing at him when he says this.
“It’s a very popular comic for children.”
“I’m familiar with it,” Ajiro says. “My son Souya is a fan, so we’ve read through it many times. I think it’s a masterpiece.”
A short explanation on Doraemon follows. Kirigirisu finds the premise fascinating (a time-travelling cat robot from the 22nd century who has a four-dimensional pouch?!) and decides he and Kano will have to check it out later.
Akio invites him to watch the illusion again, but standing behind the table this time. He sets the tube on the table, then retrieves a white pin from inside his clown costume’s front pocket (maybe not as spacious as Doraemon’s pouch, but still big) and hides it behind the tube. So that’s how something can magically appear “from the inside” when the tube is lifted.
Kirigirisu inspects the tube closer and realizes the opening facing up is slightly narrower than the one on the bottom… and that’s because there’s something similar to a small pocket around that opening, where the squishable balls can be hidden. A spectator looking through the tube from its bottom end wouldn’t notice anything suspicious.
Next, another illusion making use of the spectators’ limited angle of view. Akio holds one ball between his fingers and with swift movements makes it magically multiply into three… except the two additional balls are actually just two empty half-spherical shells. What seemed like a single ball actually had those two shells covering it. It’s a variation of the popular illusion known as the Multiplying Billiard Ball.
Finally, Akio performs the Five-Ball Cascade for them, five balls changing colors from white to red in mid-air as they’re juggled. The secret here is astonishingly simple: the balls used for this particular routine have their halves colored differently, white on one side and red on the other. The rest of the act is just a matter of practice.
“A different method is used for the pins changing colors,” Akio explains. “Do you know what that could be, Ajiro?”
“Using a mirror, I think.”
Judging by the girls’ expressions, Ajiro got it right, but Kirigirisu doesn’t understand how on earth a mirror could be used that way.
Each of the three girls takes two white pins and stands in a triangle formation, while Seika heads slightly behind them… and disappears into thin air. The three girls start the juggle, but eventually sneakily throw the white pins behind them where they disappear, only for red pins to be thrown back instead. It’s not that Seika disappeared; she hid behind a large mirror to help with the act.
Kirigirisu understands now how Akio was able to appear out of thin air earlier. Mirrors.
Akio gets to the next illusion. He takes an empty beer bottle, puts it inside his hat… no, just pretends to put it there, while actually hiding it in his chest pocket. So that’s how. The sweets were likewise produced out of his spacious pocket rather than from the hat.
Finally, Akio gives them what looks like a remote control with a small lever, encouraging them to play with it for a second while he’s changing back into normal clothes. The lever turns out to move the arms of those tall three-armed fire stands from the show, opening and closing them back inwards like an umbrella. The stands are designed in such a way that fire can be extinguished in an instant by pushing the arms into the stand.
“Juku’s Magic Hands are a similar mechanical device, though a lot more complicated,” Akio says once he joins them again, then announces that this would be enough explanations for the day.
--
Akio continues to guide them around the place. He leads them to another building—for some unknown reason called Shakuya (杓屋)—where two hammer sharks are swimming in a giant tank under the watchful eye of their caretaker, Tsukumo Souma, the hunchbacked man who’s little Nemu’s father. He doesn’t seem to be one for much conversation.
As they leave the building, they bump into Ranma again—and thank god, because his calming personality is somewhat needed after those sharks. Ranma shows them around the aviary filled with countless dove cages surrounding a cramped aisle in the middle. There’s a particularly big mysterious box with closed double doors in the back.
“Do you keep birds in there too?” Ajiro asks.
“Oh, no. There’s just this big figure of a dove inside. We’ve had it for ages, it serves the role of a god protecting the birds. We call it Onikaru-sama.”
The detectives have already met Ranma, Souma and Miku, so it’s time to head to the main part of Sanasou and meet the fourth Tsukumo sibling, Tsushima, the man looking like a bank employee. That first impression turns out to be close to life, as the man manages the show’s finances, looking as stressed as one can expect considering how much debt they’re in. He’s constantly busy and doesn’t really want to talk to anyone. As they’re leaving, they spot the man’s nervous son, Touji, who quickly hides somewhere.
Tsukumo Karan (Seika’s mother who played the Courtisane Hana Dayuu) then shows them to a room in which elderly Tsukumo Tamako and Tousen Tamako are resting in beds next to each other, under full-time care of Tousen Natsuko. In another room Tsukumo Mitama is similarly caring for her husband Gensui (the old one, known as the magician Soga Tengen in his days).
They quickly leave as to not disturb the seniors. Akio tells the detectives about how decades ago, shortly after the war, the show’s most splendid illusion was the underwater escape as performed by Soga Tengen. One day during practice his son Souma forgot to lock the cage, resulting in the shark viciously biting Tengen. The magician survived, but would never be able to move on his own again. Thirty years later, Tengen still leads his life in bed constantly cared for by his wife Mitama, while Souma still continues to raise sharks in a neighboring building despite protests from a few family members.
The tour comes to an end around noon. Ajiro calls Daisetsu and Miku in turn, making sure everything is fine in the Fujita residence and in Kami-Saimon. Daisetsu says that maybe Ajiro saving Nemu prevented the day’s unlucky accident, so they have nothing to worry about now. Maybe the case is going to stop here? Indeed nothing happens until late evening, so Ajiro and Kirigirisu head to the same bar as the previous night, meeting up with Daisetsu, Takayoshi and Uyama (somehow with an even more pronounced way of sighing “oh, oh!” now) as well as with Hyousen’s son Hyousai. Surely nothing bad will happen before midnight.
Shortly before midnight, they get a message that Tsukumo Mitama was found dead in the bath, where she must have fallen and drowned. It is later ruled as an unfortunate accident.
The case is nowhere near to being over.
--
A month later, on February 19th, Saimon Akio dies due to electrocution when the water filter at the pond malfunctions killing him and all the fish he’s been taking care of. When the body is found, all the water in the pond is dyed red.
--
A month later, on March 19th, Saimon Chisato is found dead from blood loss after apparently cutting off her hand using the Arm Guillotine prop. It is noted that she has been suffering emotional instability from stress related to the Case.
--
A month later, on April 19th, Fujita Daisetsu collapses on his way home from the bar and is taken to the hospital, where he dies from alcohol poisoning.
--
None of the eight cases so far have been deemed suspicious by the police, all of them ruled as either death from natural causes, accidents or suicides. Nevertheless, this perfectly spaced string of cases can’t possibly be a natural occurrence.
Who is the target and who is targeting them?
Perhaps the next month will show us the Case’s another face—or should we say, a mask.

[Smutfest] Blue Doll - 04 Role Play
@tpthvegebulsmutfest [Read from ch01 here on AO3]
Raditz and Nappa were darting anxious glances his way. Vegeta steadfastly ignored them to read the memo on his scouter display for the third time, just to be clear he understood it correctly.
They were being ordered to stand down.
It appeared that some intricate galactic politics were in play. A dispute between Frieza, his brother Cooler, and a few other powerful galactic ‘allies’ (that term being used more generously than literally) had come to a head. Until the politics could be resolved (or war was declared), all of the Frieza Force was to halt activities and remain on standby at their current locations.
It was essentially a forced vacation. Most would have been thrilled.
But not Vegeta. Being told what to do never settled well with him even in the best of situations, and this was far from that. Being told he couldn’t travel, couldn’t kill, couldn’t essentially do whatever the fuck pleased him in the name of galactic expansion was tantamount to being collared. Caged.
Or so it normally would have. Only Vegeta was in what one could call a ‘good mood’, which was remarkable considering there was no blood on his hands, just the lingering scent of a blue sex doll’s juices still on his fingers hidden under his gloves, and the peace that a good night’s sleep brought.
His men were waiting for the fallout, to see if Vegeta would blow something up or tell them to ignore their orders and fly off to wipe out another unfortunate civilization.
“Try not to get in my way, or I’ll kill you,” he told them nonchalantly. He walked away, off to inquire about the nearest training facility. If he was going to be stuck here a while, he would need something to keep himself busy with. That was, until night came around and he could visit the woman in secrecy.
Raditz and Nappa shared a look, floored by his lack of reaction.
[Read the rest under the break, or on Archive of Our Own here.]
~xox~
It was strange to be returning to her so soon. Vegeta thought it would be weeks, months, or even years before he could see her again, if he could even see her again. Instead, it was less than a day later when he walked back into the brothel.
Was he overstaying his welcome returning so soon? Was it weird? Was there some unwritten etiquette about these things that he was unaware of? He didn’t know, he had never been to the same place more than once, and he was damned if he was going to ask Nappa or Raditz about proper protocol. Those idiots wouldn’t know protocol if it bit them on the tail.
The fuck does it matter anyway? She’s a whore. You’re the client. She’ll open her legs for whoever has the credits.
That pep talk didn’t make him feel any better.
Neither did the sight of the S Rank room when it came into view: there was another costumer already perusing the wares.
It was a Cephalopian, a creature that looked like the offspring of an octopus. Revolting. Vegeta stopped by the doorway, watching from a distance. If the Cephalopian was an abomination of nature, at least it had good taste. It was stood before the blue doll’s display, eyeing her critically.
Vegeta crossed his arms and leaned against the doorway. His tail tightened about his waist, the tip flicking restlessly.
The woman was sitting on her chair. She gave the Cephalopian a small polite smile before glancing down at her nail polish. Her demeanor was a far cry from the interest she showed Vegeta. He tried not to let it go to his head.
But he failed as soon as she looked up and saw him. Her face lit up, and a strange warmth coursed through him. She stood, approaching the glass, pressing her hands to her window, totally ignoring the other client to smile at him. Vegeta’s fingers tightened on his biceps, resisting the urge to smile back.
The Cephalopian turned to see what had caught the girl’s eye. It and Vegeta eyed each other off, assessing the threat of the other. Vegeta smirked. There were only a handful of people in the universe that could best him, and he knew exactly who and where they were. He also knew the Cephalopian would underestimate him because of his size. Everyone always did. Everyone always regretted it.
“You don’t want that one. She’s too mouthy,” Vegeta commented, still leaning lazily against the doorway.
The Cephalopian didn’t respond, eyeing him with unreadable glassy eyes.
“I don’t think it knows the galactic tongue,” the woman commented.
The creature blinked.
Vegeta’s tail twitched. “Just because it doesn’t speak the language, doesn’t mean it doesn’t understand it,” Vegeta replied carefully. She was probably right, but he wasn’t going to take any chances. He looked away and walked over to a different display, pretending to be interested in one of the other S Rank dolls. From the corner of his eye he saw the Cephalopian turn back to stare at the blue-haired woman.
“Hey!” the woman called out to him, tapping on the glass. She sounded nervous, almost panicked. It made him smile. It felt good to be the one ruffling her feathers for a change. “What are you doing?” she asked.
“Browsing,” he replied, schooling his face into nonchalance. “You seem occupied. I would hate to interfere.”
“You can’t be serious.”
“Watch me.”
There was a strange, shrill clacking sound. The Cephalopian was chirping at the blue doll. It pressed a long sucking tentacle to the glass.
The woman went pale. Her blue eyes darted from the tentacle, up to Vegeta. She didn’t say anything. She had no authority or right to ask for his help. But she didn’t have to. It was written so clearly in her trembling blue eyes.
He shouldn’t care. What difference was it to him if some other thing fucked her? She was a whore. That’s what she did: get fucked by others. But it was different actually seeing the transaction taking place, knowing what the client looked like, imagining those horrendous tentacles slipping all over her, wriggling, sucking, violating her. Knowing he could stop it, at least this once, if he cared to intervene.
That’s what he was here for, right? To fuck her? He was Vegeta, Prince of All Saiyans. He didn’t wait for his turn. It was always his turn. He wasn’t saving her, he was just taking what was rightfully his.
Right?
The Cephalopian’s tentacle smeared slime all over the window while the woman struggled not to look horrified. At some point her robe had come apart. The idiot. Had she no shame? No wonder the Cephalopian was drooling over her. She was unwittingly showing off her creamy belly and her soft little cunt. The sight of it made Vegeta’s cock start to swell and his blood rush through him in a familiar fight or flight response. Vegeta always chose fight.
The creature peeled its limb off the window and dug in its pockets. It pulled out a card, ready to swipe its credits for a session with the girl. Vegeta felt a bolt of urgency jolt through him.
He slapped his hand over the sensor before the Cephalopian could scan its card. He didn’t even remember moving, acting on pure instinct. But he was committed now. The Cephalopian turned its inky gaze onto him.
Vegeta returned the stare, peeling his lips back from his canines in a nasty grin. “I told you before. You don’t want this one.”
It was a standoff. Neither moved. The Cephalopian looked at Vegeta, taking in his armor, his aggressive posture, and his dark wild gaze. Vegeta ever-so-subtly shifted his weight to the balls of his feet, preparing to attack. His blood rushed, pumping adrenalin through him, whetting his appetite for a fight. How easily would those tentacles pop off? His black eyes burned with manic excitement at the thought.
Slowly, carefully, the Cephalopian pocketed its card. It backed up a few paces, turned, and left. Vegeta didn’t lower his guard until the creature was out of sight, amused that the thing had the sense to flee.
Disappointed that he didn’t get his fight.
Finally, he turned and saw the woman watching him, her pale eyes wide, startled.
Was she scared? For him? Or of him? Vegeta normally relished instilling fear in others, but the idea of her being terrified of him was… somehow less appealing.
He pulled out his card, hesitant, if just for a moment. Then he pushed his weakness aside, crushing it with his usual brutality. Maintaining eye contact with her, daring her to deny him, he swiped his card against the sensor. She watched him pay for her with an unreadable expression, unusually quiet.
Something had changed. He could feel it.
When his credits cleared for payment, a door to the side unlocked. He hesitated to step inside, uncertain of her behavior. Her own door in the back of her display opened. She glanced at him from over her shoulder before she stepped through and slipped out of sight.
He followed her lead, stepping inside the door and heading up the stairs to her private room. Apprehension twisted in his gut.
When he let himself into her room, she threw herself on him. He took a step back in surprise, but the familiar smell of her and the warm press of her body ignited something explosive. He gathered her up in his arms.
“You can do anything you want to me,” she whispered fiercely in his ear.
The apprehension building inside him shattered, bursting with relief.
“Like I need your permission,” he growled back, trying to sound cocky to cover up for the fact that he thought he had fucked things up between them. He wrenched her robe off her slender shoulders and crushed her against the nearest wall. He reached for her exposed cunt with his gloved hand, surprised to find her already wet. He pushed a finger inside her, gloves and all.
She arched against him, moaning loudly. “H-oh Kami!”
“You’re wet,” he commented, pushing another finger into her.
She whimpered, writhing restlessly between him and the wall. “I get wet whenever I see you.”
He wanted to scoff, but how could he when the evidence of her confession was right in front of him, soaking through his gloves as he finger-fucked her.
She glanced at him through slitted, desire-filled eyes, her cheeks rosy with lust. “Would you have fought him?” she asked.
“What?”
“The other client,” she explained, her voice breathless as he fingered her. “If he hadn’t backed down. Would you have fought him for me?”
“No,” Vegeta replied matter-of-factly. “I would have killed him.”
Her tight tiny cunt fluttered around his fingers. “H-oh..! Th-they would have kicked you out for it,” she said, sounding more excited than concerned.
He leaned in, pressing his brow to hers, staring unflinchingly into her eyes. “I would like to see them try,” he purred threateningly.
Her breath stuttered out, her eyes sparking wildly. “Y-you’re that strong?”
She was getting off on his strength, his potential for violence. He grinned viciously. “I am. Stronger than you could imagine. I could destroy this measly planet with the flick of a finger,” he assured her, and just for good measure, curled his fingers inside her.
She jolted and moaned, her hips moving desperately against his hand. Her mouth hovered precariously close to his own, panting against his mouth. “Do you destroy a lot of planets?”
“Sometimes,” he admitted.
“That’s not very nice,” she chastised.
“Tch. Being nice is for weaklings.”
“I think you’re nice,” she murmured huskily.
He glared at her, frowning, confused as to why he felt flattered about that. “There’s not a single nice thing about me,” he denied. “I’m a very bad man.”
She laughed softly. Not the reaction he was expecting. “That’s okay. I’m a very bad girl.”
He growled, partly in annoyance. Mostly in arousal. This conversation was too confusing. He just wanted to bury himself in her and forget about who he was, his life, his bad deeds, everything. He pulled his fingers from her, dismissing her moan of protest. He leaned back enough to pull his armor and gloves off and toss them aside, not caring where they landed. He reached down to free himself from his suit, but her hands beat him to it.
“Allow me.”
She reverently pulled him from his pants, stroking his thick hard shaft with skillful fingers. His eyelids half-lowered, appeased. She treated him well, the way a prince ought to be worshipped. His tail snuck up, wrapping around her waist, keeping her close.
“You see?” she commented with a smug smile as she tugged silkily on his cock. “This part of you is very nice.” He narrowed his eyes at her, but she didn’t take the hint. “There’s a lot about you that’s nice. You don’t have to be a bad man if you don’t want to, you know. Not here. You can be anything you want to be here.”
He braced his arm on the wall above her head, leaning towards her. “Fantasy is for those unable to accept reality.”
“Or for those who dream of something better,” she countered.
Oh please, spare him the dreamy-eyed rhetoric. “How the fuck is a whore an idealist?” he asked scathingly.
“How is a prince a pessimist?” she replied with a sultry smile. “You can destroy planets and buy the most beautiful woman in this brothel — and dare-I-say, galaxy — and yet you are so jaded and unhappy.”
He stiffened, his tail tightening dangerously around her. “…What makes you think I’m unhappy?” As soon as he asked the question, he knew what her answer would be.
“Your eyes.”
Damn her.
She gave him a bitter-sweet smile. “Well, maybe not unhappy. Lonely, I guess. Why else would you be here?”
“Not for your lip,” he snarled, pressing his weight into her, not the least bit pleased she was trying to analyze him. “Don’t project your own pathetic emotions onto me. I’m here for your cunt. Nothing more.”
“Then why not fuck one of the others? Why risk a fight to have me if any cunt will do?”
He opened his mouth to argue, but nothing came out.
Because the others don’t interest me. Because the others don’t haunt me, day and night. Because fucking them wouldn’t allow me the most restful sleep I’ve had in years. Because the other whores don’t look at me the way you do. They don’t smile at me, or cum for me.
She was the only woman who made him feel like more than just a client. She made him feel like a man.
A man that mattered.
He was still struggling to think of a reply when it occurred to him he didn’t owe her one. How long had he been in the habit of answering her questions? Perhaps coming back here so soon had been an ill idea.
And then she did the damnedest thing. She kissed him.
It was soft, almost chaste, her lips warmly pressing over his. He stilled in shock, unable to respond.
She leaned back, and gave him a coy smile, her fingers still teasing his cock. “Thank you for coming back.”
His mind was a mess, he could hardly process what was going on. “I didn’t come back for you,” he replied automatically, hollowly. Trying to maintain the illusion of control.
“I know,” she said, giving him a secretive smile. “But I’m still happy you did.”
I don’t care what you think, he wanted to say, but if that were true, why was he blushing? He scowled and did the only thing he could think to do. He knocked her hand away and pushed himself into her hot little hole.
She sighed in exquisite satisfaction, her eyes fluttering closed. “Oooh yesss, good boy,” she crooned.
“Tch.” He pressed himself up against her, cheek to cheek, so that he could avoid her eyes as he slowly pistoned inside her. “Is that what you fantasize me to be? A good man?” he asked cruelly. “Some charming prince, come to save you?”
“Do you think I need saving?” she replied breathlessly, her hands stroking his back. “We can go with that. If you want to be my hero, I’ll let you. It’s all possible here. And I think you’re nicer than you let on.”
“Then you’re a fool,” he grumbled, but he couldn’t put much vehemence in his words. She was the first person to ever believe in him, to see potential in him that went beyond genocide.
And that made him unbearably uncomfortable. He deflected by throwing the focus back on her. “And who would you be? Some helpless imprisoned princess?”
“No,” she moaned. “I would be a genius scientist, a space explorer traversing the galaxy for secret technology in a craft I built myself, until space pirates caught me and sold me into slavery.”
“Oh?” he asked, getting the uneasy feeling that her words rang with more truth than fancy.
“Mm-hmm. And what about you, bad man? What would you be?”
Vegeta fucked her thoughtfully. “…A prince without a throne, without people or a planet,” he said so softly she could only hear because he spoke against her ear. “Unable to fulfill a prophecy or break the shackles of a powerful overlord.”
“What a dark make-believe we imagine,” she commented sadly. “We both get fucked over.”
He didn’t respond right away. It felt… oddly cathartic to admit that to her, even if he did so under the guise of role playing.
“What would I call the scientist?” he finally asked.
“Bulma,” she said. Of course. He had all but forgotten that she had a name. She hadn’t been a person to him, just a toy he could fuck and who stroked his ego nicely. And for that, he almost felt guilty. “And the prince?” she asked.
“…Vegeta.”
“A strong name for a strong warrior prince,” she complimented. His tail squeezed her middle thankfully.
She wrapped her arms around him, and he fucked her slowly against the wall. When she came, she sobbed his name loudly into the confines of their room.
