people already are disappointed that it’s hagakure because no one cares about her. THATS THE POINT, GUYS. she’s an excellent spy (better than hawks lmao) who managed to stay off the radar and purposefully didn’t became too close to anyone, while also not staying too distant from anyone to avoid being suspicious.
and like i talked previously, she’s probably doing it to get rid of her old quirk and get a new one from afo.

The Sleepover (My Hero Academia)
Primary Universe
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
@veryblushyswitch Knocking out a whole bunch of requests with this one! I wasn’t intending to double or triple-up necessarily, but they all worked so well together that I couldn’t help myself. Also delving a little deeper into Bakugou’s “it’s complicated” response from “Get Back Here, Deku!” I love how this turned out; I think it’s really cute and sweet and exactly what our angry boi needed. Enjoy!
~
“He’s what?” Sero asked, dumbfounded. He couldn’t believe his ears. “No way.”
Deku held up his hands and shook his head. “Ah! What? No! No, that’s not what I meant, I mean…”
“Oh, yeah!” Kaminari grinned. “Kiri and I got him one time. It was hilarious.”
“There’s no way that Bakugou is ticklish,” Sero insisted.
“He – he’s not!” Deku tried to cover up his mistake, but he knew as well as Kaminari did that it was useless. The both of them had been there that day it had first been discovered by someone other than him.
“He totally is,” Denki nudged Sero, still grinning widely. “And hey, we’re having that sleepover in his room with the others tomorrow night. We can test it out then. Sound fun?”
Sero grinned back. “Oh, yeah.”
“W-Wait, guys,” Deku stammered, panicked on his friend’s behalf. “He really doesn’t like it unless—” He stopped himself. “Uh, I mean, he just doesn’t like it. It’s not worth making him mad.”
“Unless what?” Denki asked. “You were about to say he doesn’t like it unless what?”
“N-Nothing!”
Kaminari glanced at Sero and quirked a brow. Understanding perfectly, Sero pulled Deku toward him and hooked his arms under their friend’s underarms, effectively trapping him with his torso exposed for Denki to start tickling, which he did.
“Nohohohoho, wait, plehehehehehease don’t do thihihihis!” Deku begged through his instant giggles. He tried to bring his arms down but couldn’t, and when he lifted his arms up to try and wriggle out of Sero’s hold Kaminari would go for his underarms to keep him in place.
“Tell us, Midoriya,” Sero said into his ear, smirking. “We’ll tickle it out of you if we have to.”
“Gahahahahahaha!” Deku knew he would spill eventually and so decided to just get it over with. “Fihihihihine I’ll tell you! Just stohohohohop!” When they let him go, he sighed. “Kacchan only likes being tickled if it’s with someone he’s comfortable around. If he’s not comfortable with you he’ll hate every second of it. He may even start to hate you, and trust me, you don’t want that.”
Sero and Kaminari exchanged looks. There was silence for a minute.
“Thanks for letting us know, Deku,” Kaminari said at last, offering his friend a small smile. “We’ll do our best not to push him too far.”
“But we do want to mess with him tomorrow, right?” Sero asked.
“Oh, definitely. No way he’s getting out of there without laughing at least a little.”
Deku felt a little nervous for Kacchan, but decided there was nothing more he could do about it now. “H-Hey, just…don’t tell him I told you that, okay?”
“Sure, Midoriya.” Denki winked. “Not a word, right?”
*
The following evening, the two boys joined Kirishima and Mina in heading to Bakugou’s dorm room for what was sure to be a pretty crowded sleepover. No one seemed to mind, though. Not even their host, though he grumbled and complained about his room being the destination of choice.
“If we’d chosen one of our rooms you wouldn’t have joined in,” Kirishima told him with a knowing grin.
“And having it in mine would just be weird,” Mina added. “I like you guys, but not enough to have four boys spending the night in my room.”
They all laughed at that, organizing their pillows and blankets on the limited floor space while Bakugou sat on his bed and watched.
“What are even going to do in here?” he finally asked, growly but resigned. “If all we’re gonna do is sleep there’d be no point in us all being in one room for that.”
“We could play truth or dare,” Mina suggested.
“Boring,” Denki and Kiri intoned at the same time.
“What if we all went around and said something about ourselves the rest of us don’t know?” Sero suggested, glancing at Denki, who gave him a slight nod.
Mina hummed. “That could be interesting.”
“I don’t want to play some lame getting-to-know-you game,” Bakugou grumbled. “That’s such a garbage elementary school move.”
“Oh come on, Bakugou.” Kiri nudged his shoulder. “You’re no fun. Let’s just try it, yeah?”
“No.”
“Here, let’s sit in a circle,” Mina said, and the others followed her lead.
Well, except Bakugou. “Seriously? Now we’re really getting pathetic.”
Kirishima rolled his eyes. “Get your butt on this floor before I drag it there myself.”
Something seemed to pass between them in that moment, because the next thing they knew Bakugou was doing as he was told, completing the circle they’d started.
“Great!” Mina beamed. “Sero, why don’t you go first, since this was your idea?”
“Oh, sure,” Sero stammered, suddenly on the spot. He thought for a moment. “Uh, let’s see…I hate grapes.”
Everyone laughed.
“Is that because of Minetta?” Kaminari asked.
Sero blinked, then grinned. “No, but now that you mention it…that certainly doesn’t help.”
“One time when I was a kid, I sneezed so hard my acid disintegrated the ice cream cone I was holding,” Mina said, grinning. “I was really upset.”
Kirishima said, “I rescued a cat when I was nine. Stuck in a tree, just like they always are.”
Bakugou was next, but when it came to him, he kept his mouth shut.
“What’s something we don’t know about you, Bakugou?” Mina nudged.
“Plenty, and I’d like to keep it that way.” He scoffed. “This is stupid.”
“Aw, come on, man!” Denki whined, though he turned to give Sero another meaningful glance. Sero grinned slightly.
“If you don’t want to say something, I’ll do it for you,” Kirishima said. And before anyone could protest, he wrapped an arm around his friend’s shoulders and announced loudly, “Katsuki Bakugou is super ticklish.”
Everyone froze. No one said a word. You could hear a pin drop. All eyes went to Bakugou, who gritted his teeth. “No, I’m not.”
“Yes, you are,” Kiri insisted, keeping his firm hold on the boy’s shoulders. “And if you keep being such a grouch, I’m going to prove it to everyone right here and now.”
Denki pounced on his chance. “It’s true! I’ve seen it, too.”
“No way,” Mina exclaimed, eyes wide. “Bakugou?”
“I’m not,” the blonde growled, trying to push Kiri away from him. “Back off. I don’t want to talk about this.”
Sero hesitated for a moment, but one look from both Denki and Kiri and he jumped into action with the rest of them, lunging for Bakugou and pulling him to the floor. Mina joined in, too, and within seconds they had their friend pinned to the ground.
“Don’t!” Bakugou snapped, struggling the entire way down and trying to kick his way out once there. “I swear to god, do not tickle me, I’ll—”
“Now!” Denki shouted.
“I’ll kill you!” Bakugou swore, biting his lip hard to keep himself under control. Sero used his tape to keep his arms above his head, while Kiri sat on his calves to keep his legs from moving. “Agh! S-Stop it! Y-You’re all s-s-so dead!”
“Come on, man,” Kiri said, watching as Mina scribbled in his underarms, Sero tried his stomach, and Denki went for the ribs. He smirked at how hard his friend was fighting against the sensations. “Just let it out. Your cover’s been blown.”
“S-Shut up!” Bakugou jerked sharply when Mina wandered a little further down than just his underarms to that spot at the top of his ribs. “I-I’m n-n-not—gah!”
Mina gasped. “Was that a smile?” She went back to where she thought she’d gotten the most reaction and beamed when Bakugou’s lips tugged upward in an uncontrollable grin. “It is! Aw, you are ticklish!”
“Shut up!” Bakugou snapped, but it sounded strained, and the effect of it was lost for how big he was smiling now. “Knock it off! Kiri, you know I h-hahate this; make them stohop!”’
“Was that a giggle?” Sero asked, genuinely curious, but the way the blood rushed to Bakugou’s face was answer enough. He started to press a little harder. “My ears must be deceiving me. I gotta hear it again.”
“You don’t hate this,” Kirishima said gently, finally joining in himself by grabbing onto his friend’s thighs and squeezing. “You’re just not used to being so open about how much fun you’re having.”
Bakugou jolted again, harder this time, and a single, clear giggle escaped his lips.
“Dude, he’s blushing!” Sero exclaimed, laughing. “This is great!”
“Why not just laugh, Bakugou?” Mina asked in a sweet, teasing tone. “It’s got to be killing you to keep it bottled up like that.”
“Why don’t we kick it up a notch?” Denki smirked. He activated his quirk the tiniest bit, wiggling into their friend’s bottom ribs, and finally – finally – the angry blonde stopped fighting it.
“Nohohohohohoho!” Bakugou hated that he’d lost control so quickly, but there was nothing he could do about it now except fight with his words. “Dahahahang you, Kaminahari, I’ll kihihill you, I swear! NOHOHOHOHO!!” He tossed his head back with a shriek as the electric sparks intensified, moving up toward his death spot. “Gahahahahahahahahaha! Stahahahahahahahahahap!”
“Don’t think so, man,” Denki teased, letting up on his electric attack when he got to the sweet spot, figuring that would tickle enough on its own. “Tickle, tickle, Bakugou~”
Bakugou’s face turned a dark, dark red as he sputtered in the split second before his laughter became explosive. “DOHOHOHOHOHOHOHON’T!!”
“There we go!” Kirishima began to dig in harder as well, sending his friend into further hysterics. “You sound really happy when you laugh, you know. It’s nice to hear.”
“STAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAP!!” Bakugou shouted through his laughter, twisting and writhing. “YOU JEHEHEHEHERKS, I’LL MUHUHUHURDER YOU ALL!!”
“Well that’s not very nice!” Mina pouted, beginning to go harder as well, focusing on his underarms. “You should be punished for thinking such awful things!”
Sero grinned, digging in as well, and now all four of them were giving it their all, pulling laugh after shrieking laugh from their constantly angry friend. Bakugou’s mind grew foggier and foggier with each tickle that assaulted him, making him lose track of who was doing what and where.
“Aww, look how cute you are!” Mina teased him, beaming.
Sero chuckled. “His laugh sounds like a fireworks show.”
“Not ticklish, huh, King Explosion Murder?” Kirishima chimed in.
“STAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAP!!” Bakugou yelled again, sounding more desperate this time. He pulled at the tape on his arms, tried to buck his hips. He was trapped. “GEHEHEHEHEHET OFF, YOU MOHOHOHOHOHORONS!!”
“If I didn’t know better,” Denki mused, “I’d say he’s a little sensitive to teasing.”
Mina nearly squealed. “Do you like being teased? Does it make you super flustered to have four people tickling you at once? You can’t hide how red you’re getting; I think you do like teasing!”
“I DOHOHOHOHOHO NOT!!” Bakugou practically screamed with laughter when she traveled back down to that sweet spot and dug in there. “STAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAP!! YOU GUYS, PLEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEASE!!”
Mina, Sero, and Denki gasped in unison. “He said please!”
“Scream all you want, Bakugou!” Kaminari laughed, igniting his tickly electric sparks again. “No one’s coming to save you. Nothing can stop us now!”
And with that, Bakugou absolutely broke. “PLEASE!! PLEHEHEHEHEHEHEASE, NO MOHOHOHOHORE!! I’M BEHEHEHEHEHEGGING YOU!! KIRISHIMA, GET THEM TO STOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOP!!”
Seeing that his friend was truly desperate for a reprieve, Kirishima let up and shouted for the others to do the same. “All right, that’s enough! Let him go, he can’t take any more.”
Trusting that their redheaded friend knew what he was talking about, the three others let up their attacks as well. Sero cut the tape binding Bakugou to the floor and gathered it up while the blonde pulled his arms down and rolled onto his side, curling up into a protective ball. It stunned all three of them to see how out of breath he was.
Mina broke the silence first. “You okay, Bakugou?”
He was silent for a moment. Then, “I told you to stop.”
Mina, Sero, and Kaminari looked at each other worriedly. When he’d been yelling ‘stop’ before, it was through laughter, so they didn’t take him seriously. Now that it was over, though…
“You can stop pretending, Bakugou,” Kirishima said in that gentle tone, scooting forward to place a hand on his leg. “You don’t have to be Mr. Tough Guy all the time. Not here. Not with us. You’re allowed to be yourself, you know.”
“I don’t like being tickled.” Bakugou’s voice was so quiet it was almost a whisper.
“Unless?” Kiri prompted.
Again the other three looked at each other, then back to the blonde, silent. Waiting. For a long minute, no one said a word. Then Bakugou sat up, his back turned to them but facing Kirishima.
“Unless I feel…comfortable. Safe.”
Safe. All four friends looked at each other now, Kiri included.
“Safe…how?” Mina asked quietly.
“Safe from being pushed past my limits.” Bakugou’s voice was gruff as usual, but it was quieter now, and completely sincere. He hunched his shoulders. “Safe from the whole class finding out. The whole school. The world. I don’t want to be like Deku, getting randomly tickled all the time. I don’t even want that from my friends. I just…” He sighed. “I don’t want to be tickled unless I know I’m going to be safe from all of that. Being ticklish is a weakness.”
“It’s not—” Kiri started to say.
“It is,” Bakugou continued firmly, making eye contact now. “And that’s why I don’t want it to be exposed to anyone but those I feel comfortable with. Like you guys.”
Those last three words made their hearts swell. Kirishima scooted forward again and pulled Bakugou into a hug. “You’re safe with us. I promise.” The others concurred, moving forward as well, making it a group hug.
Bakugou remained tense for a moment, then let out another sigh and relaxed into their embrace. He was still uncertain, still on edge, and even a little scared, if he was honest. He’d never really had friends before – just lackeys that would follow him around everywhere because they thought he was cool. This was different, this opening up, this being honest with himself as well as others. Having friends he could trust with his life – literally. But it was a new chapter of his life that – as long as he was still being honest – he was looking forward to reading.
From somewhere within the group hug, Kirishima said, “You know your laugh really brightens up the room?”
Bakugou smiled. “Shut up, Kiri.”

The Four Times Katsuki Bakugo Wanted to Kiss Eijiro Kirishima and the One Time he Did
If any of you remember that Kiribaku hate anon from a few weeks ago, I should tell you that the idea for this story was born in the middle of that incident, because I’m petty as hell.

Warnings: Some angst, swearing, mentions of panic attacks and self loathing

“C’mon!” Kirishima roared, hand outstretched. Without hesitation, Katsuki created a blast under him, propelling him across the sky.
He grabbed Kirishima’s hand, grinning like a maniac. “You idiots!”
Kirishima grinned back.
It was over in an instant. A few more words were exchanged, but Katsuki was on autopilot. He glanced back behind him, watching the villains shrink away until they were unseen. He was out. He was safe. Before he knew it, the groud was under his feet again. He wobbled a little, straightening up. Deku called someone, Todoroki it sounded like as the group merged with Kamino Ward’s massive crowd.
Kirishima dropped Katsuki’s hand, and he felt something odd prickle in his gut. He stared hard at the red-head, who was still smiling like nothing was wrong in the world.
“What the hell are you grinning for?” Katsuki snapped. “You look like a moron.”
“We got you back, I’m happy!” Kirishima exclaimed, his smile turning teasing. “And don’t think I didn’t see you smiling earlier, Bakugo.”
“Tch. I was just glad to be out of there.” Katsuki shook his head. “But I guess seeing your stupid face is better than seeing those villains.” He added after an afterthought.
“Hey, I’ll take it!” Kirishima laughed. The sound was scraggly, as if he hadn’t laughed in days. Katsuki figured there hadn’t been much reason to laugh, but the broken noise still made his head spin.
…What?
He scowled, and looked pointedly at the ground, hoping it would signal the end of the conversation. It didn’t stop him from still thinking about that bright smile. It didn’t stop him from hearing that bittersweet laugh.
Stop that. What the hell is wrong with you?
Katsuki allowed himself a glance back up at Kirishima, who was saying something to Iida. His hands gestured as he spoke, and Katsuki realized that he could still feel his phantom touch in his hand.
No, that’s not a thing. No you can’t. Shut the fuck up. He scolded himself. This was getting absurd.
Though his brain screamed at him to stop, Katsuki still couldn’t bring himself to look away from the boy. Kirishima finally noticed him staring.
“You’re okay, right? They didn’t hurt you or anything, did they?” He pursed his lips, brow creasing in concern.
“No. I was handling it.”
“If you say so, man. Just glad to have you back.”
Thank you.
The words bubbled in the back of his throat, but he couldn’t find it in himself to say them. His pride wouldn’t let them. Kirishima’s dumb face, written all over in unnecessary worry made it hard for him to say anything.
“Oh,” Iida gasped, hand clasped over his mouth.
Katsuki’s eyes ripped from Kirishima to see what had startled the class rep. On the large TV mounted into one of Kamino’s tall buildings was live footage of the scene he’d just escaped from. The League of Villains were gone, but the Boss Villain in all black still stood there. And there was All Might.
Suddenly Katsuki’s odd feelings became the least of his concern.
. . .
2
Kirishima was late.
Katsuki slammed his hand on his desk, an irritated growl passing his lips. He crossed the room, and banged on the wall connecting their dorms. “Shitty Hair, hurry your ass up!”
There was a muffled response. Katsuki sighed heavily, shoving his way out of his room to see what the deal was.
“OI! Kirishima! What the hell are you doing in there?” He knocked loudly on his door. “I thought you wanted to do homework together.”
Kirishima’s nervous voice floated through the wooden barrier. “Uh, sorry, Bakugo! Something-uh-”
I can’t deal with this.
With another annoyed noise, Katsuki barged in without any other warning. “You’d better have a good-”
Red. There was red all over the floor. It was mostly in the little bathroom off to the side, but a little of the bright sticky substance had spilled into the main room. Kirishima sat cross-legged on the floor, furiously scrubbing at it with a soggy washcloth. He looked up, not all that surprised to see his friend, and smiled weakly.
“What the fuck?” Katsuki yelled. It had scared him at first, thinking it had been blood. Upon a second look though, he could tell that it was far too thick and too bright to be blood. “What the hell is all that?”
“Hair dye,” Kirishima admitted, his hand connecting with the back of his neck. “I was trying to touch up my roots, but I accidentally knocked over the open bottle, and well…”
“Idiot. Why didn’t you just tell me?”
“What? That I dye my hair?”
“No, stupid, I knew that! That you made a mess!”
“Oh! I didn’t wanna bother you.” The boy ran his hand through his hair, which Katsuki noticed was hanging low around his shoulders, like it had been the night he’d come for him in Kamino. “Also, I feel really dumb right now.”
“Don’t.” Katsuki leaned into the bathroom, grabbing another towel. He ran it under the faucet, before crouching down to scrub at the dye himself.
“You- you’re helping?” Kirishima’s red eyes widened, smile pulling at his mouth.
“The faster this gets cleaned up, the faster we do homework.”
The smile pulled wider, until he was wearing the biggest, toothiest grin Katsuki was sure he’d ever seen. “Thanks, Bakugo! I really appreciate it.”
The blond’s face began to feel warmer, so he quickly hung his head, focusing on the mess and hoping his unruly hair would hide his blush. “Whatever. Just be more careful. You could’ve gotten your stupid ass hurt if you slipped in it.”
“It won’t happen again, I promise!”
If Katsuki Bakugo was a braver person, he would’ve leaned right over the pool of sticky hair dye and kissed that idiot right there. The idea sounded more than appealing. He’d been thinking about doing it for weeks, ever since Kamino.
But for all his bravado, Katsuki Bakugo wasn’t brave enough to do it. Instead, he pressed his towel harder than he needed to into the floor, as if he could wipe away his frustration with himself along with all the hair dye.
. . .
3
“Wait, I can steal a star?” Kirishima realized excitedly.
“Do it.” Katsuki grinned wickedly.
“Oh, don’t you dare, Kirishima.” Kaminari hissed.
“He has the coins, he’s gonna do it!” Sero groaned.
“Oh I’m totally doing it.” Kirishima triumphantly tapped a button on his controller, agreeing to the transaction.
Kaminari and Sero went bananas. It was fantastic.
Maybe this wasn’t such a bad idea.
He had been skeptical about Mario Party. It looked pretty dumb, if he was being honest, which he most always was. But when Kirishima suggested they play teams, and then gave a very impassioned speech about how to the two of them could do anything, who was Katsuki Bakugo to deny him?
God, I sound like an idiot.
Personal feelings aside though, he was glad he’d caved. Kirishima had been right; they were kicking ass.
Katsuki cackled as Lakitu fished a star away from Peach, Kaminari’s character, and brought it back to Kirishima’s Mario.
“Fuck yeah!” Katsuki cheered as he directed Bowser to the star still on the board.
“And they get another- UGH!” Sero dropped his controller, draping an arm over his eyes. “Oh, this is torture.”
“Five to one. Hell yeah!” Kirishima whooped.
“You haven’t won yet.” Kaminari dramatically pointed a finger at the pair.
“But we’re going to.” Katsuki promised.
“Kaminari, there are two turns left.” Sero pointed out, still sulking. “The only thing that could possibly save us now are the bonus stars, and even then it probably still won’t help much. Not when we’re four stars behind.”
“Ugh, this suuuuucks.” The golden eyed boy groaned, joining his partner in agony.
“You losers have to roll, it’s your turn.” Katsuki thrust Sero’s controller back into his hands.
“Yeah, finish out strong!” Kirishima encouraged, pointing to the screen. “Look, the next star’s close to you, Kaminari, you could probably get it.”
“It won’t save your sorry asses though.”
“Not helping, Bakugo.” Sero deadpanned. “Not helping at all.”
Kirishima chuckled, knocking his knee against Katsuki’s. “I highly doubt he’s trying to.”
The ash-blond smirked at him, leaning back against the couch cushions. He tried to ignore how Kirishima hadn’t moved his knee. He tried to ignore how his own body seemed to be gravitating towards Kirishima’s. Katsuki had been trying to ignore the signs for two months now, but it was becoming more and more obvious what was going on.
Katsuki Bakugo was officially head-over-heels and face-in-the-mud in love with Eijiro Kirishima. The thought was slowly killing him inside, because how could he ever feel the same way? How could charismatic, energetic, “Live without regrets” Kirishima ever love him?
Depression seeped in as Sero and Kaminari’s turn ended, and he had to mindlessly press the button to roll the dice.
I’m a fucking idiot.
Still immersed in the game and their imminent loss, Kaminari and Sero didn’t notice Katsuki’s sudden shift in attitude. Kirishima did though. Worry coursed through him as he wondered what was troubling his friend so much to make him look so distant and distraught.
“Bakugo?” He whispered, leaning in to keep his other friends out of it. “You don’t look so good, man.”
“I’m fine.” Katsuki growled though gritted teeth. “Let’s just finish this stupid-ass game already. I’m tired.”
. . .
4
Katskui’s world warped and twisted. He was standing in front of a swirling black portal, the villain Dabi’s hand wrapped around his neck. He felt panic building in his chest, but before he could process it all, he was jerked backwards. It was as if a string wrapped around his torso had been yanked, hard. Next thing he knew he was watching All Might fight All for One. His stomach lurched. His body felt weightless, and not entirely corporeal.
This is a dream, Katsuki reminded himself, but that didn’t stop the familiar panic from seizing him like a fist closing tightly around his heart. He couldn’t move. He couldn’t speak. He couldn’t breathe. He couldn’t do anything. He silently screamed at himself, cursing his incompetence, his weakness, his uselessness.
Katsuki sat up so quickly he nearly gave himself whiplash. He breathed heavily, hands clenching in his hair. He brought his legs to his chest, and lowered his head so his forehead touched his knees.
“It wasn’t real,” he reminded himself breathlessly. “You weren’t in any danger,”
Then why didn’t you do anything?
The thought was an ugly one, but hardly unfamiliar. It was one that plagued him nearly every time he had a dream like this. If he couldn’t spur himself into action even when he was dreaming, how the hell did he except to get anything done when there was real danger? How did he except himself to be a hero?
If you hadn’t been so damn weak, you never would’ve gotten caught and caused all that trouble!
Katsuki flinched at his mother’s words, still reverberating in his skull months after she’d said them.
I’m fucking useless.
Temper suddenly flared, he unfolded himself from his fetal position, grabbing the closet thing, which was an electrical alarm clock. Forcefully yanking the clock so the plug was pulled out of the socket, Katsuki hurled it to the floor. It landed with an unsatisfactory dull clunk, which only enflamed his anger more.
With a guttural growl, he lumbered out of bed, snatching the clock back up. This time, when he lobbed it again, he aimed for the wall next to his bed. With more force behind it, the clock hit the wall with a resounding CRACK. Katsuki watched, still panting as it tumbled onto the bed. He doubted it’d ever work again.
Taking a deep breath, he tossed the clock back to the floor, only there was no anger behind the gesture now. Just bitter resignation. Katsuki crawled back onto the bed, leaning against the wall.
“Bakugo?” A knock sounded just left of his head. “Everything ok? Did you throw something?”
Fuck. He’d woken Kirishima. Katsuki had forgotten about the red-head sleeping just next door. Anger coursed through him again, but this time it was laced with guilt. Idiot.
“It’s nothing,” Katsuki called back through the wall “Go back to sleep.”
Hoping Kirishima would leave it there, but knowing he wouldn’t, Katsuki buried himself in his blanket. Don’t come over, don’t come over, don’t come over, don’t come over-
Knock knock knock. “Bakugo? Can I come in?”
Goddamnit.
With an explosive sigh, Katsuki dragged himself back out of bed, stepping on the abandoned alarm clock in the process. “Shit!” He winced, kicking the now useless piece of plastic aside and rubbing his sore foot.
Kirishima knocked again.
“I’m comin’, quit whining.” The blond groaned, opening the door.
“Dude, what happened?” Worry laced Kirishima’s voice. His eyes darted from Katsuki to the room behind him, presumably searching for the source of the sound that’d awoken him.
“Nothing. I had a dream and I got mad.” Katsuki said lamely. “It’s not a big deal. Go back to bed.”
“Did you throw the alarm?” Kirishima ignored him, sidestepping the boy into his room. “Why? What kind of dream did you have?”
“None of your business.”
“Bakugo,”
His voice was soft and coaxing. It was the kind of voice you used when you were trying to get a small child to come out of a hiding spot. It was appropriate, Katsuki certainly felt small in that moment. He felt a dull ache in his chest at the sound of it. He sighed heavily again, sitting on the edge of his bed, walls caving in. “It was about Kamino.”
“Oh,”
Katsuki hung his head, not wanting the boy to see the tears burning the corners of his eyes. He felt the bed dip as Kirishima joined him.
“It wasn’t your fault, you know.” He said quietly. “None of it. Not the kidnapping, not the fight, not even All Might’s retirement.”
“If I hadn’t gotten caught-”
“None of us couldn’t prevented that. It was a surprise attack, we couldn’t have seen it coming. You were overwhelmed, it’s nothing to be ashamed of.”
Katsuki felt a warm hand cover his knee. He looked up at Kirishima, seeing nothing but warmth.
“I feel weak.” Katsuki admitted.
“Don’t.”
Don’t. It was the same thing he’d told Kirishima when he said he’d felt dumb for spilling his hair dye all those months ago. Though he’d all but forgotten about the exchange, it all rushed back now, like a tidal wave that’d been held back by a dam.
“Thank you.”
There was more to say than that. More than Katsuki thought he could actually articulate. Those two small words carried more messages than he could ever say.
Kirishima seemed to understand, though. He didn’t ask for elaboration. He simply gave the toothy grin Katsuki had grown to love, patted him on the back, and said “You’re welcome.”
. . .
5
BOOM
Gym Beta rumbled as Katsuki leveled a particularly strong blast against Kirishima, who took the brunt of it unflinchingly.
“Woah, that was a big one!” The red head batted the smoke away, deactivating his quirk. “How’re you not tired? We’ve been at this for an hour!”
“Or course I’m tired, dimwit. I’m human, aren’t I?” Katsuki rolled his eyes, and whipped beads of sweat off his forehead. “I’ve been active so I’m sweating more. That’s what’s making my blasts more powerful.”
“Oh, yeah! That makes sense.” Kirishima chuckled, grabbing his and his the blond’s water bottles. “Man, you sure are lucky, Bakugo.”
“Huh?”
“With your quirk, I mean.” Kirishima explained, tossing the other bottle, which Katsuki caught deftly. “It’s so strong and flashy, and it only gets stronger the longer you use it! You’re gonna be a great hero some day. I just hope I can keep up with you.”
“Not this shit again,” Katsuki groaned, taking a swig from his water. “You’re strong. How many times do we have to have this conversation, Shitty Hair?”
“I know, I know,” Kirishima waved him off, also taking a drink. “Don’t get me wrong, I really appreciate you saying that! It’s just hard to believe, y’know?”
Katsuki was quiet for a minute. It sucked because he did know. His friend’s words hit closer to home than he had probably intended. He knew first hand how difficult it was to change your mind when you’d already convinced yourself of something, no matter how often people told you otherwise.
Katsuki didn’t say any of this, though. “It’s late. We should head back.” Is what he said instead.
“Right,” Kirishima sighed, disappointment heavy in his voice. His eyes flashed with hurt as he turned his back to pick up his gym bag.
Damnit, say something.
 “Kirishima,”
He turned back, surprised, but not unpleasantly so. “Yeah?”
“I don’t like it when you look down on yourself. You’re better than that, even if you don’t think so.”
“Woah, where’s this coming from?” There was laughter in his voice.
Katsuki shrugged, scuffing his toe against the cement floor. “I just need you to hear it. Even if you don’t believe it yourself.”
The smile that spread across Kirishima’s face wasn’t the huge shit-eating grin Katsuki had gotten so used to. It was a new one. This one was shy and grateful. This smile came with a small blush, the lightest dusting of pink across the boy’s cheeks.
Oh fuck. Katsuki felt his own face heat up.
“Thank you Bakugo. That really means a lot.”
“You’re welcome.”
Suddenly Katsuki was restless. Here he was, standing in front Eijiro Kirishima, a boy he’d thought about kissing a hell of a lot more than he was willing to admit, and he wasn’t doing a single thing. Suddenly, he felt like he had to do something.
“Hey. You know that thing you say about living without regrets?”
“Oh, yeah? What about it?”
Before he could think too much about it, Katsuki closed the gap between his and Eijiro, and pressed his lips to his.
Eijiro let out a surprised squeak, but didn’t pull back. Instead, his hand found Katsuki’s shoulder, and he pulled his closer. The kiss was awkward, and a little too forceful on the blond’s part. But it was happening. The kiss several months in the making was finally happening, and Katsuki was wondering what the hell had taken him so long?
“How long have you wanted to do that?” Eijio asked with a breathy laugh as they pulled apart.
Katsuki pursed his lips, considering. “I think since Kamino.”
“Since the final exams, for me.”
Katsuki scowled. “You mean I could’ve pulled this shit way earlier?” The red head laughed again, this time it was less breathy. “I guess, yeah. What stopped you?”
“I didn’t think you’d feel the same,” the blond grumbled, crossing his arms. “What a waste.”
“Aw, don’t say that! I was too scared to do it, too!” Eijiro planted both hands firmly on Katsuki’s shoulders, beaming. “But it’s ok! Cause you did it!”
Katsuki chuckled a little, burying his face in Eijiro’s shoulder and wrapping his shaking arms around him. He returned the embrace ten-fold, squeezing Katsuki so tightly he thought he’d pop. He let him, though.
It felt good to be held. So good, it might’ve even been worth all those wasted months.
“I’m so glad I’ve got you,” Eijiro whispered into Katsuki’s shirt.
Katsuki squeezed tighter. Defiantly worth it.

I have another songfic idea and despite the requests in my box I will do this first lmao if I don’t Imma forget tomorrow-
This blog is bnha starved, so let’s go with that:3
Tumblr media
Idfc//Soulmate AU! Bakugou x Reader
Word count: 2700+
Warnings: Swearing
Summary: In a world where the name of your soulmate’s quirk is tattooed on your arm when you turn 17, Bakugou got unlucky in the soulmate department.
Despite all his prayers and wishes for the words “Game Over” to appear on his arm, life just didn’t want to go his way.
What’s even worse, is those words ended up on shitty half n’ half’s arm.
What a way to screw with Bakugou.
He watches as you step out of the school gates, Todoroki’s arm wrapped around your waist. Giving you a tiny wave, he rocks forward and backward, hoping for you to notice him. You glance towards his direction, pursing your lips, before ignoring him and making your way home with your boyfriend. The ash blond’s fake grin falters, shoving his hands down his pockets, head hanging low as he turns around and goes his own way.
He still remembers the moment he realised you weren’t his soulmate. The way his heart dropped when the words on his arm said “Zero Gravity”. His parents were ecstatic, cheering as they celebrated over how their baby boy was growing up, and how he would soon meet the love of his life. What they didn’t know, was that he had already found the one he loved, and it sure as hell wasn’t Uraraka, whose quirk was on his arm. Just that one revelation was enough to make his entire weekend shitty. He definitely did NOT want to be with Uraraka. She was way too bubbly and annoying. Plus, her quirk had a lame name. And she’s way too clingy for his liking. He tried his best to stay optimistic about the situation. Maybe he’ll eventually be able to change his fate if he defied it. Maybe if he was able to make you love him back, the names would change. He racked his brains, searched for answers on every website he could think of, asked on every forum he could find, but still, nothing. He was stuck with Uraraka, and there was nothing he could do but sulk and accept it. That night, he cried himself to sleep, knowing he was never going to get a chance with you. The only person he wanted was snatched away from him and just the thought of being able to win her over was ripped to shreds.
The following Monday back to school was no better. In fact, it was worse. He watched as you excitedly told him about your soulmate, the words “Half Hot Half Cold” imprinted on your skin as you explained how you got it the day before. You were beyond excited, knowing fully well who your soulmate was. The pretty boy of 1-A that all the girls were head over heels for. Thank god you couldn’t tell that the tiny grin plastered on his face and the playful cheering was fake. Those were all just poor attempts to mask all the despair and heartbreak he stored up in his chest. All Bakugou could possibly do was be happy for you. That’s what he should’ve done. However, no matter how hard he tried, it just never worked out. You were always there in the back of his head, lingering around in his mind like an annoying pest that he couldn’t get rid of. Thinking of you became a daily routine. He would stare at you longingly in class, text you every day after school, cry about you every night, and wake up puffy eyed. Waves of depression hit him every single time the sight of you having fun with Todoroki appeared in front of his eyes. He swore that if he heard another person talk about how cute you and Todoroki were together he would punch their face in. People backed away from him whenever he was close to the dual haired boy, not wanting to get on his nerves.
In class, Aizawa started noticing his lack of focus in class. For months, Bakugou had been in a constant state of daydream, staring at you in class as he thought of all the things you two could do if only you were his soulmate. He would spoil you so badly. Take you out on as many dates as he possibly could. Kiss your tears away when you were crying. Pillow fights every weekend. Cuddle you while the two of you watched movies on your bed. Eventually present you with a diamond ring in a tiny velvet box. All those possibilities, flushed right down the drain as he was constantly snapped back to reality by his homeroom teacher every single time, remembering that he was only a best friend to you, nothing more. He wasn’t doing as well in class, and his parents were worried. Since when did their straight A son start flunking English? Mitsuki was anxiety ridden, fearing for her son’s mental state, as she should. Bakugou would rather die than admit he was weak, but at times like these, a motherly hug would be nice. Mitsuki would let her son cry on her lap, instead of sulk on his bed all alone. He may not have told her anything about what was making him seemingly depressed, but all he wanted was some form of emotional support, even if it was from his old hag. Masaru would join in sometimes, giving Bakugou a few pats on the head or ruffling his hair. They didn’t know what had changed his son so drastically, however despite their worries for his academics, they knew that he was not okay, and that it was their job to help him, even if they were in the dark about the situation.
“Bakugou, you’re going home alone again? I thought Kirishima was gonna walk you back!” Mina jogs towards Bakugou, placing and hand on his shoulder and launching herself into the air with a jump. Usually, Bakugou would flick her hand off at the last moment, but instead of doing that, he remains stoic, completely ignoring everything around him. “Haaaah? Hello? Earth to Bakugou?” He rolls his eyes, trying not to blast the pinkette’s fingers off as she pokes his cheek, trying to get a reaction out of him as Kaminari and Sero approached the two.
The Bakusquad were quick to catch up on his issue. Kirishima was the first to point out the difference in his now quiet, negative attitude compared to his usually boisterous and aggressive personality. Being the top tier best friend he was, he tried his hardest to get something out of Bakugou. Anything. He soon informed the rest of the gang about it, much to the blond’s annoyance. Since then, they’ve been trying to get Bakugou out of his heartbroken state and back into the rat he usually is. Everyone was worried for him, fearing that this would affect his mental health. They were there for Bakugou since day one, hyping him up whenever he was about to make a move. Cheering him on when he finally asked you out. Encouraging him to continue fighting for you when he was feeling down. They always thought the two of you were meant to be, but they were mistaken, because obviously fate has a cruel way of messing with people. Out of everyone, Kirishima was the most concerned. He had watched his best friend put himself down time and time again, all because of you. He was always there to give him a punch to the back, reminding him that he still had a chance. He was there to listen when Bakugou wanted to vent his issues out. He was his number one wingman, setting the two of you up in secret as an attempt to help Bakugou get with you. When he eventually found out his soulmate was Uraraka, and that yours was Todoroki, he was shocked, to say the least. However he was also frightened. Scared. He was scared that Bakugou would go back to his cold self. He was scared that the friendship he had bonded with you would break. He was scared his best bro’s heart would be shattered. Despite his efforts to cheer him up, the blond was not improving. The fiery, determined flares in his crimson irises were gone, replaced by a dull, hopeless maroon.
“Don’t be so down in the dumps about the whole soulmate thing Bakubro! Maybe you’ll eventually move on!” Oh, what a big mistake Kaminari just made. The icy glare sent his way is scary enough to kill, piercing through his skull and shaking every single nerve in his body up. “I don’t fucking care at all. Leave me the fuck alone.” This isn’t his usually grumpy attitude, where he’s just irritated. He’s being dead serious, his tone hinting that if they didn’t get away from him right this instant, they were going to get their asses kicked badly. “Guys, maybe we should just leave him alone for now.” The three teens backed away from their moody friend, waving him off before going their separate ways.
Whenever anyone tried to make an effort to understand his frustration, the only answer they would receive was a forced out “I don’t fucking care.” That was the only thing Bakugou would tell people, including you. Oh how oblivious he was, thinking no one saw through the facade he was putting up. If he had to admit he was a weak bitch that cried over some stupid crush, he would kill everyone in the room and then himself if that’s the last thing he does. No way in hell is he letting his strong, tough, intimidating image down. Time after time, he would tell people he didn’t give a fuck about you. That you were just another extra in his life. Just another stepping stone to his inevitable victory. The time you overheard him telling Kirishima you were just another obstacle in the way of his success made your heart shatter into a million pieces. You slowly started to let him go, not wanting to let yourself get hurt anymore by his words. Everyone acted like they fell for his white lies, as if they were dumb enough to not hear the audible hint of pain in his usually shameless voice. He really did all this, just to convince himself to move on from these useless feelings that ate him up from the inside. His usually unfriendly self became extra hostile, shutting out everyone that tried to help him. He was increasingly aggressive with each passing day, letting out all the pent up anger and bitterness onto his classmates. At that point, Midoriya was so scared that he requested for a seat change from Aizawa. Almost nobody dared approach him. Some even begged for him to be excluded from sparring and training, although it was unsuccessful. It was guaranteed, without question, that whoever was going against him was going to be beaten to a pulp, bloodied and battered, burn marks everywhere on their bodies. In some instances, All Might had to step in, and even he suffered a few nasty blasts from the ash blond. Even you were getting irritated by his irrational actions, occasionally calling him out for it, much to his dismay. This was the last thing he wanted. For you to slowly break away all the bonds you two made. For you to take another person’s side, without even thinking about how he felt.
Walking out from his quick shower, he sat on his bed, grabbing his phone and going through your chat again, as if the ‘seen’ at the bottom of the wall of good morning and goodnight texts will magically disappear and replace itself with your replies. Groaning, he throws his phone onto the wall, letting it fall back onto his mattress as he shoves his face into his hands.
Since the time you heard him call you an obstacle, you started to let go of the friendship you had made with the fiery teen. He held a special place in your heart. He was your first, and best friend. You two shared everything during those late night talks you had through FaceTime. If you had to choose between Todoroki or Bakugou, you would save the latter first. The moment you realised Todoroki was your soulmate, you were ecstatic. Your fat crush on the aloof boy was a known thing around 1-A, and the fact that you were lucky enough to get him as your soulmate made all the girls jealous. However, things took a turn when Bakugou started to go back to his cold self. He stopped calling you after school. He stopped walking you home. He stopped trying to keep a conversation with you, only replying with the driest responses he could muster up. You didn’t know what was up with him, but it was annoying you. The one time you were looking to confront him, you overheard his conversation with Kirishima. “She’s just an obstacle.” “A stepping stone to my victory.” “I don’t fucking care about her.” It was as if everything you have done to befriend him was for nothing. He only thought of you as some extra. Nothing more. You were pissed, definitely. He was acting cold, ignoring you, all because he never cared. You made up your mind, and sent him one last text.
“If you didn’t care about me then we should’ve never became friends.”
And with that, the friendship that you two put so close to heart was erased from your life, never to be seen again as you left his side and joined with Todoroki.
This is the last straw for Bakugou. He yells into his hands. Nobody’s home, and even if somebody were in the house, he doesn’t care. He screams until his lungs give out, his voice reducing to a raspy groan after ten whole minutes of screaming. He was mad at himself. He was mad at his fate. Why did it have to take away the best thing that happened to him? Why did you have to land in the hands of Todoroki? Just the thought of it fills him with anger, sparks emitting from his palms as his sight is clouded by red. Scrambling onto his bed, he sends punch after punch towards his pillow, activating his quirk and letting the fabric burn as he continues the assault on the pillow, feathers now flying all around him as he screams, tasting his own tears. He doesn’t care about his pillow being completely demolished. He has extras at home anyways. Throwing the now tattered pillow onto the floor, he grabs a new one and shoves his head into it, sniffling into the cool material. “Why do I feel like this? How can one person ruin everything for me? Why is this happening? What kind of God does this to people? Why do I care anyways?” His eyes widen as he realises what he just confessed to himself. “No. I don’t care. I don’t fucking care at all. I don’t care. Not a shitty single fucking bit.” His heart aches when he says that, as if it’s mocking him for trying too hard to convince himself to believe something that was completely untrue. The ash blond thrashes wildly on his bed out of frustration, kicking his sheets away and muffling his strained screams into the clean pillow. “Stop, stop, stop, stop, STOP! WHY? CAN’T YOU JUST GET OUT OF MY HEAD FOR A FUCKING DAY? JUST A FUCKING SECOND? PLEASE?” Pulling his sleeve up, he stares at the words “Zero Gravity” in disgust. Bringing his free hand up, he activates his quirk, sending a scorching burn to the words as he hisses in pain, flinching a little bit. The soul mark is now a shade of pink, but the words are still clear as day. He knows he screwed up bad with you, but what could he do about it? You’re happily dating your soulmate, and all ties between you two have been cut off. All his texts have been left on seen. You have stopped talking to him. With that, Bakugou knew what he had to eventually come to terms to.
He cares. He cares too much.
All the times he’s said “I don’t fucking care” were just pathetic attempts to forget about the cruel truth, even just for a moment.
You’re never going to go back to him.
Todoroki is your boyfriend.
And he was just another classmate to you.

Bakusquad with a black s/o - Someone calls you a racial slur
This idea has been on my mind for SO LONG! You might be wondering, “Then author-Chan, why didn’t you write it before?” WELL BECAUSE IM LAZY- So, I hope you enjoy :) -btw I’m going to use female pronouns, so if you want a male version or part 2 let me know-
~~~~~~~~
Bakugo
Tumblr media
He is so appreciative, like this dude could care less about what skin color you are, but he just thinks your skin is BEAUTIFUL! Like, YES!! Racist Karen’s? Mans gotcha back.
But this one time, a racist bitch, *cough* BETHANY *cough* she called you a racial slur (even if I am african American i’m not saying it) and you obviously had to mop the floor with a hoe!
“Y/N, stay the f*ck away from my man!” Bethany screamed at you, you just rolled your eyes and stared straight at her.
“I’m sorry? Who’s your man?”
“Bakugo! You know that you ni-“
Oops! Bethany accidentally fell on your foot.. Then your hand.. Then your knee... She got beat the fuck up. While you were beating the absolute hell out of Bethany, the bell rang, but you were too busy with Bethany to notice that everyone was heading to lunch.
You snatched her by her hair, and started beating the crap out of her, when everyone saw they were frozen just there like ‘O’ but, Bakugo was cheering you on.
“YEAH! BEAT HER ASS N/N!”
You still didn’t give a fuck and just smirked, until your home room teacher, Aizawa came into the hallway.
“L/N! Bakugo! Detention after school!”
Best believe you just looks at him like, ‘N what?’
Bakugo just shrugged, and aizawa told us to go to lunch.
“This isn’t over Bethany..”
Then you just dropped her, grabbed Bakugo, and skipped to lunch, him proudly walking with you while everyone just stared at you in disbelief at how you’re acting like nothing happened after you just beat the shit out of a hoe. Not sorry!
Kirishima
Tumblr media
Like Bakugo, he thinks you’re beautiful! He also thinks you’re real manly, because there are so many people who don’t think you belong in ua because of your skin, but he just deals with them himself.
But one day, someone took it too far and three girls game up to you and their leader just started insulting you, and one of them said a racial slur, you weren’t having it.
“Oh look! It’s Y/N! I thought you would’ve given up on becoming a hero, I mean how could you be popular when you look like.. That?”
“Like what? A badass? A queen? Beautiful? At least I don’t have 55 layers makeup, I have a thing called natural beauty.”
“What beauty? All we see is a ni-“
Oh no! They all somehow ended up on the floor with a bloody nose! Oops! You accidentally made your boot and their head best friends..
“I’m sorry, I can’t *thump* hear you other the *thump* noise! *thump thump thump*”
Needless to say, you beat all their asses. And in an instant you’d beat anyone and everyone’s ass if they even dared say a racial slur.
So, while in the process of beating three bitches asses, all of class 1-A came out of home room because aizawa wanted them to come and get you because you’re their friend, and they saw you beating the fuck out of three girls at the same time, and they all just stared at you in awe, and shock, except for Iida. He was against it obviously. And Bakugo, Mina, and Kaminari were cheering you on.
“Yeah Y/N! Kick their ass!”
“You got this Y/N!”
“Yeah! Whatever reason you did this, great job!”
“L/N That is not appropriate in school or outsie of it! Please refrain from beating people up!
Aizawa heard cheering and yelling outside the classroom and got annoyed, and went to check to see you beating three girls asses and the Bakusquad, (this time all of them) cheering you on.
“Is there a good reason for this? Otherwise detention.”
“These *thump* bitches *thump* thought they could try *thump thump thump* call me a racial slur.” Iida shut the fuck up real quick, and everyone was shocked that he actually started routing for you!
“...Continue.”
Then he walked back in the classroom. We stan men who don’t support racist bitches.
Kaminari
Tumblr media
Kaminari respects you, you don’t take anyone's shit. Plus you’re beautiful, that’s a bonus to him. There were two particular people once who were giving you weird looks because of your skin, you just laughed in their face while Kaminari electrocuted them, then brought him home after he short circuited.
But one stupid bitch didn’t know how badass you are. So they tried using a racial slur, but we all know we don’t stand them. So this bitch named Rachel walked up to you and just started trash talking.
“Why are you even in the hero course? You don’t deserve it.”
“Because I earned it. You don’t deserve to be in ua at all if you’re bullying someone superior to a lowlife.”
“Whatever, you’re just a ni-“
She didn’t get to finished her sentence before you just roundhouse kicked a bitch, then just started beating the crap out of her.
“Say it again. I DARE you.”
While you were beating the shit out of her, class 1-A and aizawa just heard a bunch of loud and some very quiet crashes and thumps, and a lot of yelling.
“What in the entire world is going on out there..” Aizawa mumbled.
All of class 1-A including aizawa opened the door and walked into the hallway, to see you literally slamming her face into a locker, and occasionally kicking and punching her.
“Holy shit..”
Everyone was stunned, but Bakugo was laughing his ass off.
“L/N, what are you doing!?”
“SHUT UP IIDA!”
“U-uhm L/N..? Why are you hurting that person..?”
“THEY TRIED, THEY REALLY TRIED ME!”
“What did they do?”
“SHE THIUGHT SHE COUKD SAY A RACIAL SLUR”
“YOU GO! THATS MY GIRL!”
“Oh, everyone back in the classroom. Everything’s fine.”
Then they just went back into class like their classmate wasn’t beating the shit out of a girl. Needless to say, someone had to pull you off of her before you killed her.
Sero
Tumblr media
Sero is a supportive king, and very underated. He thinks you’re the most beautiful women he’s ever met, and mans is extremely protective because once someone made a comment about your skin and you just ignored it but it kinda hurted :(
But one fateful day for two boys, they made the terrible mistake of saying a racial slur, they really thought they did something by getting beat the fuck up.
“I don’t know why they let YOU in the hero course.”
“I don’t know what led YOU to believe I’mma take your shit.”
“Whatever. You’re just a ni-“
And he just magically fell to the floor! Oh no! His buddy accidentally got slammed into him after! Damn it, they accidentally made contact with your boot!!
Class 1-A and 1-B heard you beating the shit out of the boys, so the teachers went into the hallway to see what the commotion is, but the students being their nosy selves went to see too.
Mr. Aizawa and Mr. Vlad King went into the hallway to see you beating the fuck out of two kids, class 1-A and 1-B looked through the door, and Bakugo just started cheering you on, so did Sero.
“Yes Y/N! Fuck em up!”
“I knew I chose the right one! Yes Y/N!”
Kendo being one of your friends, started cheering you on too.
“Go Y/N! Yes queen!”
Aizawa just turned around and walked back into the classroom after telling the students to go back to their seats. Vlad king broke you away from them though.. Aw shit you got detention.
Mina
Tumblr media
(I got lazy on Sero’s because after Kirishima I took a break and started writing Kaminari’s after, and it’s 1 AM so I’m tired and watching YouTube to stay awake, this is probable gonna be shitty, they all are honestly.. I’m sorry btw I believe the theory that Mina is black so roll with it if you don’t)
Mina knows that you’re the most beautiful wiman alive, and you’re her queen, and vise versa.
One day this bitch named Ashley decided to insult your guys’ relationship and called you a racial slur, you definitely weren’t having it when it comes to Mina.
“Hey Y/N I heard you’re dating a girl.. That’s gross.”
“Hey Ashley, I heard you eat d*ck. That’s gross.”
“You’re a nasty ni-“
Ashley couldn’t finish her sentence because she was slammed into the locker, and became best friends with your fist and boot, whoops!
So, everyone was heading home because the final bell rang and everyone was packing up, and they were leaving their classrooms, and they all saw you beating the shit out of Ashley, and Mina was just smiling the widest smile that shines so bright, and she started cheering you on with Bakugo.
“Yes my queen! Beat her ass!”
“Yeah Y/N! Beat that extra!”
You got one last HARD kick in, before aizawa came up to you and pulled you off.
“Let me go!”
“Why were you even harming a student?”
“BECAUSE THIS HOMOPHOBIC BITCH CAME UP TO ME AND STARTED TALKING ABOUT ME AND MINA AND ADDED IN JUST THE CHERRY ON TOP AND CALLED ME A RACIAL SLUR!”
Aizawa went quiet and so did everyone else, then he just let you go and walked away, and everyone else just left the school like it was a normal day, we stand most of the people here.
(In case you’re confused on why it said Raven I accidentally put my name for this kind of stuff,sorry)
Aaaaaaaa I’m so glad you opened up for anonymous asks!! I’ve been wanting to ask you for prompts for some time, but I feel shy about asking for them in public! Thank you <3 I love your writing!! Ok, prompt time (and if you don’t feel comfortable with anything I send you, you have every right to say no!!): Shouta figures out he is in love with Hizashi when he almost dies protecting one of his students. Mic’s reasoning for him is: “You love them so much, Shouta... I want to protect that love too”
It has taken me more than a month to finally finish. I am so sorry for how long it took! Exams and writer’s block hit me on November. Hope you enjoy!
It will also be available on AO3!
Title: Protect Your Love
Shouta was certain of one thing: Hizashi was his best friend. It’s been that way before and it will remain that way after.  Hizashi made that very clear the day they graduated from UA.
Shouta knew it had to be true. He never felt that special connection with Nemuri, Tensei, Kan, or even Emi. Shouta only knew of one person who was close to him as Hizashi - perhaps even more. Thinking about him still ached Shouta’s heart and brought a tragic memory that still plagued his mind everyday.
Shouta brushed off his thoughts as he passed by the food court of the mall. It was very early in the morning on a Tuesday and the mall was relatively empty. He planned it that way for minimal safety risks, but without his morning instant coffee he felt the weight of his eyes slow him down. It wasn’t as if there was a shortage of coffee shops at the mall, but he’ll be damned if he spent five dollars for a small cup.
He didn’t even know what prompted him to become distracted with such odd thoughts. Maybe it was the fact that Hizashi invited himself and came along with Shouta to the mall with five of his students: Sero, Jirou, Kaminari, Mina, and Kirishima.
The weather began to cool, and the group insisted on Shouta allowing them to go buy some warm clothes for the winter. It was supposed to be a simple trip that should have lasted for only an hour, but that didn’t stop Hizashi from swaying his way in and encourage his students to “treat themselves” as he called it.
This wasn’t the first time Hizashi invited himself at the last second. It has become such a constant in Shouta’s life that he wondered how he got by without Hizashi a few years back.
Hizashi being his frequent companion felt natural by this point. Shouta just didn’t understand why his mind ran in circles as his heartbeat increased whenever Hizashi was close to him.
Maybe he did know - but he buried that knowledge deep inside his mind.
As he made it past the food court, Shouta felt the ground mildly shake. He grabbed the nearest pole and tried to balance himself. He tried to listen for anything indicating danger, but the panicked noises of the employees and few visitors blocked any outside sound. The first thing he focused on was the safety of his students.
The trembling began to die down as Shouta made his way towards the center of the mall.
He was relieved when he saw another pro hero helping the employees and visitors evacuate the area. He scanned the nearby stores and found Sero and Jirou among the crowd. The two students caught sight of him and quickly ran towards their professor.
“Mr. Aizawa!” Sero acknowledged as he composed his breath. Jirou kept close as the wave of people passed by and bumped their shoulders.
“Sero! Jiro! I need you to help him evacuate the people safely. Then I want you to stay with him until I come get you, understood?” Shouta ordered, pointing at the pro hero near the entrance.
“But, Mr. Aizawa, we can help you!” Sero insisted. Jirou nodded as fear crossed her face, “we have to make sure Kaminari, Mina, and Kirishima are safe!”
“Listen to me, right now your job is to help evacuate and that’s it,” Shouta emphasized, “I’ll go find Kaminari, Mina, and Kirishima. Do not leave that pro hero’s side. Am I clear?”
His two students gazed with hesitant expressions, prompting Shouta to narrow his eyes.
“Am I clear?”
Only a few seconds passed by, but it seemed like a lifetime before Jirou nodded again.
“We’ll do as you say, Mr. Aizawa,” she stated, tapping her earjacks together, “just please be safe.”
Shouta reached for Sero’s and Jirou’s shoulders, tapping them lightly.
“I will,” he assured before running off to the north end of the building. The columns were keeping the building steady, but a quick inspection made it clear that it could crumble down at any moment. Shouta needed to act fast, get everyone to safety, and apprehend the people responsible for this.
The issue was that he had no idea who were the perpetrators and whether they possibly mixed in with the panicked crowd. He shrugged off that concern for now, and focused on finding his remaining students.
He dreaded the thought that something might have happened to them.
He suddenly felt the ground shake violently again and his ears ache as a loud sound emanated further down the northern end.
He knew that sound more than he knew his own voice.
It was Hizashi’s scream. It was his quirk.
Shouta instinctively ran towards the sound, blocking everything around him. His mind was only centered on that voice.
On his friend.
He almost bumped into Kirishima if it weren’t for his sharp reflexes. The spiky red-haired boy slipped as he tried to avoid clashing into his teacher but was quickly caught by Shouta’s binding cloth.
“Sir!” Kirishima breathlessly yelled as he pointed to Mina. “Mina and I were looking for you! Sir Present Mic and Kaminari are fighting two villains!”
Shouta noticed Kirishima’s ragged, shaky breath and placed both of his hands on the boy’s shoulders.
“Kirishima, I need you to tell me everything,” Shouta explained calmly; not wanting to make Kirishima panic even more. Kirishima's eyes widened, but he feverishly nodded.
“I was walking with Mina and Kaminari when we found Present Mic”, Kirishima began, “that’s when we heard this loud crash and the floor started trembling. Present Mic told us to stay close to him...he told us everything was going to be fine but everyone started panicking and screaming and next thing I knew Mina and I were separated. I tried to join Present Mic and Kaminari but they were far away and I saw them fighting two people and I - I couldn’t go because of the crowd - I just couldn’t…”
“Kirishima, please, calm down,” Shouta instructed, “you did good in trying to find me. Nothing here is your fault, I want you to understand that. I need you and Mina to go join Sero and Jirou. They are by the entrance of the mall and should be helping a pro hero. I’ll go help Hiz- Present Mic and Kaminari. Understood?”
Thankfully, Kirishima and Mina were quicker in accepting their new roles. Mina wished him luck before dragging Kirishima towards the entrance of the mall. Shouta regained his pace and grew concerned when it became eerily quiet.
As he reached nearly the end of the building, a sudden wave of lightning blinded him. He was then met by a whole body crashing into him. Shouta felt out of breath and a sharp pain on his chest as he fell with the other person.
Shouta grunted and felt his legs shake violently as he stood up. He immediately recognized the figure next to him; helping them up as they struggled.
“Kaminari, are you alright?” Shouta asked, looking for any noticeable injuries. Kaminari nodded, but his eyes were filled with terror.
“Yes, b-but…” Kaminari choked, tears threatening to escape.
“It’s okay,” Shouta assured, awkwardly side-hugging his student. He never knew how to comfort someone, but damn him if he didn’t try his best for his students.
“Present Mic - he…”
“Present Mic? Did something happen?” Aizawa questioned, noticing the desperate tone in his voice. He cursed himself for the incessant questions, secretly hoping it didn’t worsen Kaminari’s panic.
“He was protecting me when one of them just separated us-“
Kaminari was interrupted by a glass wall shattering near them from a store. Shouta quickly covered Kaminari as he saw Hizashi struggling with someone else. Every time the person took another step, the ground around them would shake. So this is the person responsible for the attack.
Shouta swiftly used his scarf to move Kaminari out of the way and grabbed the criminal simultaneously. The assailant, puzzled, looked at the white fabric around him, but soon bore his eyes towards Shouta.
Shouta looked back at him; undeterred. How dare he mess with my students? How dare he mess with...him?
“Shouta!” Hizashi yelled, approaching his friend with a small smile. Shouta couldn’t look back due to the usage of his quirk on the delinquent, but he knew Hizashi would understand. They’ve been doing patrols together for years and learned how to communicate through various situations.
Shouta dragged the criminal towards him and tied them up properly for the authorities. He could sense Hizashi lingering near him - talking to Kaminari.
“I was told there were two people,” Shouta said, waiting for an answer as the captured criminal wrestled to be let loose.
“The other one vanished before I could do anything,” Hizashi explained, sighing deeply, “but I have a feeling he has a teleportation quirk so that makes him very dangerous.”
“Well, we best make sure to catch him before-“
Shouta wasn’t able to finish his statement before it happened. Everything occurred so quickly it left Shouta in a daze of confusion and despair.
He first heard two notable gasps and his head instantly turned towards the sound. Between Kaminari and Present Mic stood a stranger who Shouta assumed was the missing assailant.
Everything went crashing down from there.
The man was holding a knife and pointed it at Kaminari. Shouta instinctively used his quirk, but it was no use against a weapon that didn’t rely on a quirk. A simple knife was all it took to cause such damage.
Before the villain could plunge the knife into Kaminari - Present Mic acted quickly and pushed the kid aside. He stood in the place Kaminari was at when it all happened.
Shouta doesn’t remember screaming, but the ache in his throat suggests otherwise. He just remembered his body acting before he could think and made sure the criminal couldn’t use his quirk. The criminal was clearly shocked when they couldn’t teleport away and prepared to fight Shouta.
Shouta has dealt with many villains before, and this man was the same as all those petty ones that fought against him. The man was bound similarly to the other criminal, but something compelled Shouta to hurl the villain towards a wall with all his strength. He knew it was completely unnecessary, and perhaps stupid, given that the villain is now unconscious and can’t speak - but his anger blinded him.
“Mr. Aizawa!” Kaminari shouted, carefully holding an injured Present Mic on his lap. The pro hero looked miserable as his face twitched in pain.
Shouta just stood frozen in shock. It wasn’t that he didn’t care about Hizashi’s state. On the contrary, he knew he cared too much for his best friend. He’s seen his friend injured before, but never this close to death. That knife landed close to Hizashi’s neck and could have hit something fatal.
He could have lost another friend. He could have lost someone he loved.
His heart stopped for a brief moment at the realization. He...loved Hizashi.
No, no, this isn’t the time Shouta. It became difficult to balance himself but Shouta didn’t realize he was moving until he was standing in front of Kaminari and Present Mic. The boy looked up at him - breathing heavily as he tried to soothe his teacher.
Hizashi was sweating profusely from his forehead, and his eyes were shut in agony. Shouta knelt down and delicately placed his hand above Hizashi’s arms. The blonde hero was startled by the sudden touch and attempted to open his eyes but the lights tormented them.
“Don’t move too much, Hizashi,” Shouta instructed softly, moving his hands to caress Hizashi’s hair. Through his side view Shouta saw Kaminari shift awkwardly, probably thinking he’s interfering in a personal moment. Shouta would have reserved his actions after Kaminari left, but seeing Hizashi in such a grave state made him forget about anything around him.
From a close distance, Shouta heard the sound of sirens and officers roaming around the building. He knew they would handle the criminals as soon as they saw them. Shouta quietly gestured for Kaminari to go join the other students. As he expected, Kaminari hesitated at first, but soon realized it was not only for his safety - but for Shouta to be alone with Hizashi. Kaminari gently placed Hizashi’s head on Shouta’s lap before leaving to join his friends. “Don’t be too harsh on him,” Kaminari said abruptly before he left - not allowing Shouta to respond.
Shouta turned his attention to Hizashi, who was looking back at him with an eye smile. Shouta softly chuckled - noting that even as he’s heavily injured Hizashi always shined bright.
“Why did you do that? They could’ve killed you,” Shouta whispered, still caressing his dear friend’s hair.
“You…” Hizashi began, struggling to speak through his raspy voice. “You love them so much, Shouta...I wanted to protect that love too.”
Shouta’s breath hitched and his eyes widened in shock. He felt tears forming on his eyes as he placed a hand on Hizashi’s cheek.
“...and also because I am a hero and it’s my job.”
Way to ruin the special moment, idiot.
But he’s the idiot I love.
Shouta snorted, with Hizashi joining him. They both laid down in silence, ignoring the world around them.
Only a few minutes passed before a first responder interrupted their moment of peace. Shouta hesitated before letting Hizashi go, but he knew it was for Hizashi’s safety.
As Hizashi was being placed on the ambulance, Shouta contemplated his feelings. It was uncharacteristic of him to express his feelings in public, but Hizashi could have died.
He could have died without knowing how Shouta felt.
As the ambulance door was closing, Shouta forcefully kept it open with his arms. The paramedic looked at him baffled, but Shouta ignored him.
“Hizashi, when you get out of the hospital, do you want to go out to dinner with me?”
Hizashi’s body shot up, and the blonde hero locked his eyes at Shouta.
“Are you seriously asking me out on a date inside an ambulance?”
Shouta looked back sheepishly. “...Yes. But it’s okay if you don’t want to.”
Hizashi’s eyes glowed, and he practically squealed as he jumped up and down in excitement.
“Shouta, of course I’ll want to!”
Speechless, Shouta released his hands from the door, prompting the paramedic to finally close it. He couldn’t help but hide the wide grin from his face with his binding cloth.
Now, how am I going to make Hizashi fall for me?
(A/N: Oh Shouta, he already did.)
Chapter 3
Masterlist
So, what do you all think All Mights gonna be like as a teacher?’ Denki asked as they got settled for their first class with the Pro Hero,
‘I still cant believe he’s really here, man!’ Kirishima swivelled around in his chair to face the blond boy,
‘Yeah, I heard he’s-‘ Ichirou started, only to be interrupted by a large booming voice,
‘I AM… coming through the door like a normal person’ All Mights voice resounded round the room as the students turned to stare at him in awe,
‘Its really him!’ Kiri said from beside Ichirou, still unable to turn his eyes away,
‘I know! And he’s so dorky too!’ Ichirou replied, finding the hero’s weirdness endearing,
‘I teach basic hero training.’ All Might explain as he took his classic stance at the front of class, ‘It’s a subject where you train in different ways to learn the basics of being a hero. You’ll take the most units of this subject! Let’s get right into it! This is what we’ll do today- Combat training!’
It felt as if the entire classes eyes lit up, this was what Ichirou had been expecting when she dreamt of UA, and finally they were going to complete their first real lesson on becoming a hero!
‘And to go with that are these!’ All Might gestured to the wall, which began to move, revealing cases containing what could only be their- ‘Costumes made based on your Quirk registrations and requests you sent in before school started.’ Ichirou met Mina’s eye, who looked just as excited as she felt at the prospect finally getting the hero gear.
‘Could you just move, we all need to get our costumes.’ Ichirou grumbled as she watched Bakugou struggle to get the case out of the wall, the boys face snapped towards her, eyes narrowed and teeth clenched, if looks could kill, she’d have been dead in an instant,
‘Damn runt, always getting in my way.’ Bakugou snarled, not moving from his repeated motions of jamming the case in and out violently,
‘Just don’t do it like that. You need to be calm, if that’s even possible.’ Ichirou raised her eyebrows as the boys tugs became more and more violent
‘Shut your mouth, mut,’ Bakugou replied, catching her eyes in a piercing glare,
‘Not a dog, remember.’ Ichirou’s scowled at the new nickname, it was one thing to have Kiri calling her a puppy,
‘Tch- whatever.’ The boy rolled his eyes,
‘Would you just move, I cant get mine till your done!’ Ichirou explained in exasperation, looking at the others who had already got their cases and were heading to get changed. The boy didn’t make a sound, instead he stepped back from the almost dislodged case, his breath heavy,
‘Thank you.’ Ichirou stepped in front of him, the feeling of his hot breath all too close to the back of her neck causing her heart to flutter slightly. She first grabbed at her own case, the one above Bakugou’s and pulled it down. The silver briefcase was surprisingly heavy as it fell into her grip, causing the flustered girl to stumble backward further into Bakugou’s chest. The boy gripped her waist to steady her,
‘Dumb runt.’ He muttered behind her, but Ichirou could feel his heart rate increasing,
‘Not a dog.’ Ichirou reminded him in a singsong voice as she reached forward again to dislodge the boys own case from where it was stuck, ‘There now try again.’
Bakugou rolled his eyes as Ichirou stepped out from behind the wall, briefcase clasped in both sweating hands. He pulled it out calmly as possible, it slid from the wall on the first try,
‘Whatever.’
‘What was that? A thank you?’ Why your welcome boom boy.’ Ichirou joked as the boy snapped his head to face her,
‘The hell did you just call me, runt?’ The boy took a step closer to the girl, bending down slightly to reach her eye line,
‘Oh please, you got to give me a cute nickname, it’s only fair.’ Ichirou turned away from him, heading back to her desk where Mina was waiting excitedly,
‘My name is Bakugou. Call me that or nothing.’ He combatted, storming after her,
‘What if I just called you?’ Ichirou winked, enjoying how riled up the boy had become,
‘So damn hard to talk to.’ He muttered under his breath,
‘Oh I’m hard to talk to?’ she turned to him, her sensitive ears picking up on the comment, ‘Tch- whatever.’ She said, mimicking the boys low, gruff voice.
‘Shut it, brat.’ Bakugou rolled his eyes, throwing his case down on his desk with far more force than necessary,
‘Bye boom boy, good chat!’ Ichirou giggled before meeting Mina’s wide eyes, ‘What? Did something happen?’.
‘Um- yeah it did.’ Mina dragged the confused girl out of the classroom,
‘Is it about the costumes? Did you look at yours with out me?!’ Ichirou guessed as she was pulled down the corridor towards the girls changing rooms,
‘No I didn’t- don’t worry.’ Mina reassured, ‘This is about you, flirting with that pomeranian-looking, anger issues-having, God-complex abusing dick.’
‘Whoa! That was not flirting at all, its just funny to make him mad.’ Ichirou defended herself, still amused by her friends choice of insults,
‘Oh really so- ‘how about I just call you’- isn’t flirting? Weird, cos it kinda sounds like flirting to me.’ Mina poked her friend in the arm,
‘No it wasn’t- he set himself up! I was just trying to get a rise out of him.’ Ichirou tried desperately to explain herself, okay maybe she had been trying to flirt with Bakugou, but it wasn’t like he was flirting back,
‘Ichirou, look at me,’ Mina stopped walking, placing a hand on Ichirou’s shoulder, ‘I know you have a thing for troubled men-‘
‘I do not!’ The other girl exclaimed,
‘Endeavour.’ Mina deadpanned,
‘Stop it- he’s Todoroki’s dad!.’ Ichirou batted Mina’s hand away, carrying on walking, ‘Besides, Bakugou’s got the personality of a garbage truck, even if he is cute.’
‘Damn straight! Wait- what you think he’s cute ?’ Mina called to her friend as Ichirou opened them door to the changing rooms.
The girls of class 1-A were making their way over to ground beta, where All-Might was waiting to begin the first practical class.
‘I wonder what Combat Training entails.’ Momo pondered, eyes falling on Ichirou walking next to her whilst desperately trying to pull up her thigh high boots, ‘Hey, just leave them you look really hot- and at least its not as bad as mine.’
‘Well yours is sexy to help with your quirk- I thought I was going to have shorts!’ Ichirou explained, the boots were going to help her with her quirk, allowing her to feel the ground beneath her more accurately, but she hadn’t expected to basically be wearing a bathing suit,
‘Nonsense, you look really really cute, especially with all this fluff.’ Momo stroked a hand through the fur collar of the white jacket that contrasted Ichirou’s dark grey tail perfectly, ‘And you and Mina sort of match.’
‘Thanks Momo,’ Ichirou smiled up at the tall girl who smiled back.
‘Yeah we did that on purpose!’ Mina, who had been checking out the costumes of the boys ahead of them chimed in, ‘Did you guys see Kirishima’s final costume? He looks so cool.’
‘Mhm, he wouldn’t let me see the designs but it looks very manly.’ Ichirou replied jokingly as they noticed the boy rushing back to talk to them,
‘Ichirou! Mina! You both look awesome!’ Kiri shouted out excitedly, ‘oh- Momo, you um, you look great as well.’ A red blush spread across his face and neck as he took in the girls appearance, something Ichirou had guessed would happen to all the boys,
‘Thanks Kiri, you and the guys look great too.’ Mina replied as they carried on walking, Kiri falling into place next to her,
‘Yeah, I’m so excited to do more hero stuff, especially with the number one hero!’ Kiri pumped his fist in the air enthusiastically,
‘I know! We’ve been wondering what we’re going to do for our first class.’ Ichirou said,
‘Sero- the guy with the elbows- thinks we’re gonna do something like the entrance exam. But I don’t think we’ll be doing that again for a while.’ Explained Kirishima as they caught up with the boys at the entrance,
‘Hey guys.’ Mina waved excitedly, as Kirishima pulled them towards Kaminari and Sero, his new friends, ‘you look so cool!’
‘Heh- thanks.’ The black haired boy replied as he fiddled with the helmet in his hands, Denki was yet to reply, his eyes trained on the bare skin of Momo’s chest, Ichirou noticed and quickly shuffled herself in front on Momo, pulling him out of his trance,
‘Yeah- um yeah, cool. You all look great!’ Denki stuttered out, eyes widening at Ichirou’s scowl,
‘Let’s head in!’ Kirishima cried enthusiastically as the entire group reached the gates of ground beta where All Might was waiting.
‘Bakugou’s cheating!’ Kirishima cried as the class watched him head straight for Izuku in a surprise attack, ‘That’s not manly at all!’
Oh trust me, he’s looking real manly from where I’m standing. Ichirou thought to herself, watching the muscles beneath the blonds hero suit ripple as he felt the impact of his own blow, before shaking her head of the gross thought.
‘A surprise attack is a strategy, too’ All Might responded as Ichirou snapped herself out of her head, ‘They’re in The middle of a real battle now.’
‘Midoriya avoided it!’ Mina gasped, eyes glued to the screen, Ichirou couldn’t believe he’d managed it without using his quirk- though they had known each other for quite some time. Bakugou moved forward again, and Ichirou could see the determined grimace written across his face, despite that, Midoriya once again managed to dodge his rapid attack, this time using Bakugou’s own strength against him to flip him over into the ground.
The entire class gasped in shock as the boy tried to catch his breath, the smaller boy was saying something that seemed passionate, thought the class couldn’t hear. Bakugou got up from the ground to face the green haired boy, small explosions emanating from the palms of his hands,
‘Excuse me, Ichirou?’ A soft voice came from behind her, forcing her head away from the entrancing battle, it was her partner Ojiro,
‘Hey! I’m guessing you want to talk strategy for our match?’
‘Yeah, it’ll be pretty tricky since we don’t actually know who we’re up against yet but we have pretty similar quirks so I think we could work something out.’ Ojiro explained,
‘I agree, we’re both fairly agile thanks to our tails so we’ll be alright when it comes to hand to hand combat.’ Ichirou commented,
‘So maybe we should try and get in close as soon as possible, if we’re hero’s that is.’ Ojiro built on Ichirou’s idea
‘I’ll be able to sense them around the building if we play our cards right, but if we’re villains,’ The girl pondered, struck from her thoughts as a large explosion lit up the screen behind her, she could feel the tremors of Bakugou’s enhanced quirk even from this distance.
‘We cant do the same as Bakugou, no matter how well its going for him.’
‘Yeah, we should stay at base where there’s space to move.’
‘Sounds good.’ Ojiro concluded as the two turned to face the screen again
They ended up being villains, facing the slightly terrifying team up of Shoji and Todoroki as their hero’s.
‘Do you think we should hide maybe? Or protect the bomb more?’ Ichirou said nervously, looking around for something to better protect them with,
‘If we hide, we might not get to the bomb in time,’ Ojiro explained, ‘And I’m sure we’ll be fine protecting the bomb,’ Ichirou smiled determinedly at the boy, throwing him a thumbs up,
‘Now lets start the second indoor person-to-person combat training match!’ All Mights strong voice could be heard through the loud speakers as the villain team readied themselves,
‘I can feel them, on the ground floor,’ Ichirou relayed to her partner as her ears twitched, ‘only one is advancing- its cold, I think its Todoroki. We need to be careful.’ Ojiro nodded as the two steadied themselves. ‘Can you feel that?’
‘Feel what?’ The boy turned to her, Ichirou could sense the building around becoming cooler by the minute,
‘It’s getting cold, I think he’s incasing the building.’
‘He doesn’t want us to escape?’
‘I’m not sure- wait no watch out!’ Ichirou jumped up to grab at a pipe above her head just as thick sheet ice burst through the door, covering the floor and trapping Ojiro’s legs,
‘I’m so sorry!’ Ichirou said as she dropped onto the now icy floor, boots thankfully giving her enough friction to move with good agility.
‘It’s okay, this quirk is-‘ Both head turned towards the door and they heard Todoroki steps echo through the corridors, Ichirou steadied herself for a fight,
‘I didn’t get both of you huh?’ Todoroki assessed the situation, his blank expression not giving away any feeling of confusion, ‘We’ll fight then.’ An icy blast was sent Ichirou’s way with no hesitation, she slid behind the bomb to offer herself some protection, knowing there was no point hiding from him, Ichirou realised she would have to fight this in close combat- she silently hoped Todoroki was less suited to the style. The room was almost bare, there was no way she’d be able to sneak up behind him, but hopefully she’d be able to gain some height advantage. Popping out her claws, Ichirou used the leverage to pull herself up the wall, a strategy she counted on Todoroki noticing, he inevitably did as he shot ice towards her which stuck to the walls as she skilfully dodged each rapid attack until she decided it was time to strike. Now having scaled almost halfway round the room, she found herself promisingly close to the stoic boy and decided that this was her chance. Mustering up all her strength, she pushed off from the wall, using Todoroki’s ice block as leverage to knock the boy to the ground, pinning him under her with her body weight, thighs clenched around his waist.
‘Gotcha!’ Ichirou said, smiling as she reached for the capture tape at her side,
‘I think you’re forgetting something,’ Todoroki finally spoke as he twisted his wrist in her grasp,
‘Oh yeah?’ Ichirou replied, taking the bait as the boy beneath her conjured up an icy blast from his finger tips, somehow aiming it right at the stunned girls abdomen and forcing her sprawling across the floor and against the wall, ice surrounded her stomach and blocking her from moving in anyway other than flailing her arms slightly. Todoroki touched the bomb, ending the match,
‘That was really amazing- its no wonder you were a recommendation!’ Ichirou exclaimed, getting up off the floor as the boy used heat to get rid of the ice he’d encased the building in, Todoroki nodded his appreciation, crossing the two rather bewildered students as he headed out the door,
‘Heat too?’ Ojiro mumbled as the they followed him,
‘Well, he is Endeavour’s son, plus the whole- y’know,’ Ichirou gestured to the two sides of her head in turn, ‘It kind makes sense.’
‘Yeah, I guess you’re right.’
The forth battle was in progress, Todoroki had obviously won MVP of Ichirou’s match which had left her quite salty- the girl had thought she’d done well but she guessed that losing a teammate had put her behind. Ichirou looked around the room her, averting her attention from the battle as she heard the quiet clanging of metal hitting the floor. A dejected Bakugou sat on one of the boxes, grenades lying at his feet, his lips drawn into a scowl and his eyebrows furrowed. He’d expected to win against Midoriya, there was a clear childhood rivalry between the two that was understandable, both boys were extremely powerful.
Ichirou wanted badly to go comfort him, another embarrassing downside to her quirk- she felt responsibility fo her pack (well class) as people with animalistic quirks often did. Thanks to her mother having no experience with the quirk except for the time she’d spent with Ichirou’s ‘dad’, most of what she knew was from visiting the hospital every time she nearly scratched herself apart or bit her tongue almost in half that one time.
Deciding on a relatively decent excuse of needing water, the girl made her way to the back of the room and grabbed her water bottle. She stood away from him, whilst still letting the seething boy know she was nearby, and fixed her attention back on the fight. Bakugou was mumbling to himself, something so quiet that Ichirou didn’t think it polite to listen. They stayed like that for the rest of class, silently acknowledging each other’s presence. Ichirou wasn’t certain as to whether Bakugou actually wanted her there, but she sensed his heart rate decreasing steadily and his breathing begin to calm.
a/n : sorry she’s an endeavour simp 🥺 i promise its for ✨character development✨
Best Two Out of Three
Ahh this was just going to be a drabble and I might have gotten a little carried away ^^”
Bakugo x Reader
Word Count: 3625
Warnings: Cursing (obviously lol), fighting, touchy-touchy pda, hotdog vs sandwich dispute (ugh)
Summary: Bakugo reacts poorly when you defend yourself against an insult. He challenges you to a fight but can’t deny the attraction he feels to you leading up to it…
When you were first accepted into UA you were ecstatic. Finally months of intense workouts, studying, and preparing for the admission process had paid off. In your previous school you were renowned as the notable scholar; after all, you had to uphold a good reputation if you planned on getting into UA. That meant that it was absolutely necessary that you earned the highest marks in and out of class. However, this also meant that a lot of your old classmates thought you were stuck-up and too intense. Admittedly, it was a bit discouraging to have such a poor social life, and you vowed to change that once you entered the 1-A hero course.
After the first day of class, it became very clear to you which students were the hard-workers and which ones tended to slack off more; you made a mental note to approach the latter group. You found yourself beginning to relax and settle in with your new classmates, becoming fast friends with Kaminari, Sero, and Mina. You could sense that while the three were skilled up and coming heroes, they did lack a certain motivation to be better than everyone else. That’s what attracted you to them after all. And, like you had hoped, you began to fall under their influence and slack a bit on your studies. That wasn’t to say you weren’t doing well, you still had better grades than a good majority of the class. However, you no longer found yourself caring as much if you choose to skip a work-out session in favor of going shopping with Mina.
Sitting at your desk, you were currently in an intense discussion with Sero and Kaminari about whether hotdogs were sandwiches or not. You, an intellectual, knew better than your friends. “Look,” you said, “A hotdog bun is one connected piece of bread. Sandwiches require two slices in order to be called a sandwich.” Sero chewed the tip his pencil in thought, nodding slowly as this fact seemed to sway him. Kaminari however, quickly began to counter-argue.
“What about sub sandwiches?” he mouthed a bit too loudly, though it was harmless enough with Aizawa still 5 minutes late to class. “The bread on those are never cut the whole way through, so technically it’s still one piece of bread!” You rolled your eyes as Sero let out an audible “ohh”, again, nodding with this new information.
“The fact that you need to call it a “sub sandwich” suggests that society has already been socialized to accept this exception as a legitimate sandwich. Hotdogs, though? No one calls it a hotdog sandwich.” Sero, eyes wide, mumbled a small “that’s true” as Kaminari quickly scrambled for a refute, but upon finding nothing to say, crossed his arms in a huff. You felt the corners of your mouth upturn in a victorious smirk, but they quickly fell as someone “tched” behind you. Craning your neck back, your eyes met with the fierce red gaze of Bakugo two seats away.
“I can’t believe your dumbasses actually got a place at UA,” he growled, propping his head up against his hand. Your eyebrows furrowed at this, and he took this as a challenge. “Hah, don’t even try to deny that you don’t belong here. You extras never even try, it’s a shame that you’re in the same class as me.”
Behind you, Sero laughed nervously. “Well, guess we’re just lucky!” he said light-heartedly, not particularly concerned as he turned back to Kaminari. Sure, everyone was used to Bakugo’s bad moods, but this particular comment irked you. You worked your ass off to get into this school, you definitely deserve to be here as much as anyone.
“Really?” you spoke to him, lips pursued in a firm, thin line. “Well then what does that say about you if you have to try ten times as hard just to get into the same class as a bunch of “dumbasses”, ‘ey Bakugo?” You knew you were playing a dangerous game. Yes, you had grown to accept the blonde’s outbursts as background noise over the weeks, but with this specific insult you couldn’t help but defend yourself.
Both your friends and Bakugo seemed surprised at your comment, Sero and Kaminari hushing and Bakugo’s head whipping back toward you. You felt your throat tighten as he leapt from his desk, face scrunched in fury. Baring his teeth at you, he slammed his hands on the desk between you, small sparks shooting out from under his palms. “What did you say, you damn idiot!?” You swallowed, leaning back slightly. Lord, what have you gotten yourself into? Luckily for you, Aizawa chose that exact moment to open the door.
“Bakugo, take your seat,” Aizawa grumbled as he slowly walked into the classroom. Bakugo was not deterred, shoving a pointed finger into your face.
“Alright then,” Bakugo snarled, “You and me, the end of the week, we’re going to have a fight! We’ll see who really belongs here!”
Aizawa glared at Bakugo as he waited in the front of the room. “Bakugo,” Aizawa warned in a low voice. Bakugo’s eyes never left you as he finally backed off, taking his seat once more. You felt yourself exhale a breath you didn’t realize you had been holding, timidly rotating yourself to sit face-forward at your desk. As Aizawa began to lead an instruction, you noticed Kaminari shoot you a pitiful look. You didn’t need to turn your head to know Bakugo was still glaring daggers at you; you could feel the heat of his gaze shooting straight into the side of your head.
Quietly sweating, you glued your eyes to your notebook as you began to take notes more diligently than you had all school year. It seemed that you had pissed off the school’s most notable hot-head and your fight was inevitable. Five whole days. That’s all the time you had to prepare the best fight you could muster, and if you were going to lose, you were going to at least get a few good hits on him.
The instant class was finally dismissed, you rise from your chair, feverishly packing the notes you took. You heard Bakugo snort from two seats over, and knew without a doubt that he thought he had you on the run. You held in your annoyance as you zipped your bag up and slipped it over your shoulders. Waving goodbye to your concerned friends, you hurried down the halls to get to the gym. You had work to do.
Tumblr media
“Don’t you think you were a bit hard on them?” Kirishima commented, cocking his head at Bakugo. “It’s not exactly manly to yell at cuties.” Bakugo scoffed, stuffing his hands into his pockets as he walked down the hall with his red-headed idiot.
“(Y/n) is not cute, dumbass,” he murmured, hiding his white lie behind a signature eye roll. So what if he thought you were cute? Kirishima didn’t need to know that. “They’re infuriating, even just comparing themself to me! Who the hell do they think they are?!” Kirishima smiled sheepishly, throwing a hand on Bakugo’s shoulder to calm his friend. Bakugo shrugged it off as they entered the boys locker room, tching softly. “Whatever,” he muttered, opening his locker. “It’s not as if they’ll waste too much of my time. You know how their group is. They never train or anything.”
Kirishima quietly listened to Bakugo’s rant, changing into his workout clothes. “Are you actually going to go through with the fight?” he asked, already knowing the answer. Bakugo never backed down from a fight.
Bakugo scoffed, closing his locker harshly. “Of fucking course I am! And I’m going to win.” Kirishima shrugged, dropping the topic. There was no helping it. Following Kirishima into the gym, they walked toward the weights to go through their usual workout routine. Scuffing his shoes lightly, he looked up as Kirishima muttered something. “What?”
“Well I’ll be damned. Thought you said they never trained?” Eyebrows furrowed in confusion, Bakugo followed Kirishima’s eyes toward one of the weight machines. His eyes widened as they landed on you pumping iron on the bench-press. Quickly swallowing his surprise, his lips upturned into an angry sneer.
“Fucking dumbass thinks they actually have a shot against me!?” he growled, feeling ten times hotter as Kirishima laughed light-heartedly.
“Guess you better get to work, Bakugo, they’ve got quite an impressive bit of weight on there. You might get your ass handed to you yet!” Ignoring his friend’s teasing, he stomped over toward your side of the gym.
“Idiot’s gonna kill themself,” he grumbled under his breath as he made is way over.
Your arms shook slightly, face red as you pushed the weights up above your head. Your exercise clothes stuck to the bench beneath you, soaked through in your sweat; it was an embarrassing reminder to how much more time you should be spending here to train. Your bench was still impressively high, but the soreness setting into your chest was already proving just how much muscular endurance you had lost in the past month.
Suddenly the bright lights above you darkened, and you blinked in confusion as you again lifted the weights high above your chest. Gasping, your arms nearly gave out as your eyes met with Bakugo’s face glowering down on you. “Fuck,” you breathed, steadying your grip on the bar. “What are you doing here?” you seethed, out of breath. Squinting up at Bakugo, there was no mistaking his signature scowl.
Bakugo settled himself above your head, toned arms prepped and held out in front of him. “In case you didn’t know,” he sneered, “it's common practice to have a spotter when you’re lifting. If you were here more often, you’d know that, dumbass.” Oh? So that’s what he was playing at?
Lowering the bar again, you tried to pick up the pace under his observance, pumping out a quick set of reps despite the screaming soreness in your arms. “I don’t need you to spot me,” you breathed out in between reps, staring straight up at the ceiling.
Bakugo glared down at you, trying not to stare at how attractive you looked with a sweat worked up. The way your muscles flexed and moved, the way your chest heaved up and down… Feeling heat rise to his face, he coughed. “Yeah right,” he muttered, lurching forward to catch the bar as you struggled to lift it and setting it down on the guards.
Your arms fell to your stomach as you caught your breath. After a few seconds, you sat up, turning to look at Bakugo. “Thanks,” you said, begrudgingly. “But if you’re trying to intimidate me it’s not working,” you muttered. A blatant lie on your part. It was definitely intimidating to see him standing over you like that. Bakugo snorted, turning away from you.
“Whatever, idiot,” he grumbled already walking away. Voice rising, he added, “Don’t get in my way dumbass!” You sighed, swinging your legs over the bench to move toward the ellipticals. He didn’t need to worry about any of that. You were going to avoid him like the plague.
The days following fell into a similar pattern. Before class you no longer spoke to Mina, Sero, and Kaminari, instead choosing to diligently read the notes you borrowed from Midoriya regarding Bakugo’s fighting strategies. Peering over your shoulder, Mina glowed. “Wow! Who knew (Y/n) was such a good student?” Kaminari shrugged, leaning back in his seat.
“I mean, they were top in their class last year, right? I just wish it didn’t take up so much of their time.” Kaminari stretched his arms above his head, stifling a yawn. You tried to ignore the conversation of your friends. True, you hadn’t been paying much attention to them as of recent. You had to cancel plans and drop everything in order to study and train in preparation for Friday’s fight. Your friends were understanding however, Mina even dropping off some ice and water to your dorm after one workout left you particularly sore.
By now the rest of 1-A had begun to pick up on the impending sparring match, it quickly becoming the next hot topic much to Bakugo’s irritation. He didn’t understand why everyone was making such a big deal about it when it seemed obvious to him who was going to win. The fact that people were speaking so often about it meant that some of his classmates actually thought you might have a chance.
Admittedly, it was hard to ignore how much work you put into your preparation. Bakugo couldn’t remember the last time someone took one of his threats so seriously, and while he would never admit it, he was impressed with your sudden resolution. Surely you knew he was a daunting opponent, but the fact that you weren’t backing down was almost cute. At least he knew you’d be giving him your all, and that’s all he could ask.
Sitting next to Kirishima, Bakugo glanced at you, noticing even now how focused you were on your papers. Staring at you, he couldn’t help but imagine how good you had looked when your shorts rode up on your thighs yesterday during training… grumbling angrily at the thoughts stuck in his mind, he clenched his fists.
Much to his agitation, Bakugo couldn’t deny how much you had been on his mind as of recent. It was easy to play it off as just excitement for the upcoming fight, but Bakugo knew deep down that he felt an attraction to you. He couldn’t deny how cute you looked each time he spotted you during weight lifting, the way your lips pursed in a pout at his assistance. Or how your banter seemed to ignite little sparks in him each time you spoke. He hated the way you affect him. He should be focused on becoming number one hero, not on how attractive your diligence was! Growling to himself, he focused his eyes away from you. The sooner this fight came, the sooner he could kick your ass and get your stupid face off his mind.
Sooner than expected, Friday came rolling around. You felt your stomach hit the floor as Aizawa finally dismissed class for the day, the students around you already chattering excitedly about weekend plans. You jumped as a hand fell on your shoulder, looking up to meet eyes with Sero. Beaming, he gave you a big thumbs up. “Good luck today, (Y/n)!” he cheered quietly.
Mustering a smile, you thanked him. “Are you guys going to watch the fight?” you asked, eyes hopeful as you peered up at your friends. Kaminari barked out an amused laugh, squashing all hope within you.
“And get our faces blown up? Sorry, (Y/n), but no one’s going anywhere near the gym today. We’ll save you some froyo for after the fight tho!” Kaminari paused. “That is...if you’re able to eat in Recovery Girl’s office. OW!” yelping, Kaminari rubbed the side where Mina painfully elbowed him.
Right… Watching them pack their things, you began to do the same. Your muscles were still sore from yesterday’s training, and your mind was buzzing with all the tips you had picked up from Midoriya. There really was no backing out of this, huh? Nervously, you left the classroom. Your bag felt like it was full of bricks as you trudged to the changing room. Beginning to change into your clothes, you noticed how empty the locker room was. Kaminari hadn’t been lying. No one dared to show up to train today. Swallowing the lump in your throat, you ignored the impending doom settling in your stomach.
You didn’t have the luxury of fear at this point. Worried as your were, you hadn’t been completely focused on training the past week. Rather, it had become harder and harder to focus with Bakugo around. As irritated as you were with him, you couldn’t deny that working out with him had been really tense. Whether that was due to his constant glares or how hot he looked in that slim fitting t-shirt, you didn’t know. Patting your cheeks slightly, you dismissed any stupid thoughts from crossing your mind. “Focus!” you cursed yourself.
Taking a deep breath, you forced yourself to finally leave the locker room. Stepping into the gym, your heart dropped at the silence. Across the room, Bakugo stood in the ring designated for sparring. Even if you weren’t using quirks for this fight, you were intimidated. Noticing you, Bakugo turned his body to face you. “Finally. I thought you had chickened out,” he called from across the room.
Feeling your irritation rise again, you stomped down your nerves. “Bet that would have been a relief, huh?” you taunted, walking in a direct line toward the ring. Bakugo’s lips pulled up to reveal his teeth in a fierce grin. Cracking his knuckles, you felt his eyes staring you down like a piece of fresh meat. You forced yourself to hold his eyes.
Once you entered the ring, you each took a moment to stretch out and ready your bodies for the fight, starting on either side of the ring.
Bakugo stared at you as you took a second to pull your hair back, licking his dry lips. You did that on purpose, didn’t you? Trying to distract him like that, that was a dirty move. Stepping forward, he waited for you to do the same. After a moment, you stepped forward. Not wasting a moment, Bakugo began to advance toward you, not giving you much time to think of a strategy. Your mind raced as he charged you, trying desperately to remember what Midoriya had told you. The right hook, right! Looking up, you were startled to see how close Bakugo was, already coiling his arm back.
Gasping, you dodged under his arm just in time to avoid the powerful blow, instinctively kicking your leg out into his side. Stumbling back a pace, Bakugo hissed at you angrily, “You’ve been talking to that damn Deku, haven’t you?” Bakugo couldn’t ignore the fury he felt deep down when he imagined you spending time with Midoriya, and neither could he place why he felt so strongly about it. Channeling his anger, Bakugo charged at you again, raising his fists into an onslaught of attacks. You may have gotten one kick on him, but he’d be damned if he let you get another.
Eyes wide, you quickly find yourself on the defense. Bakugo was known to be viciously offensive, and his onslaught of close ranged attacks was a quick reminder to that. You managed to dodge the first few, but Bakugo didn’t give you even a moment’s breath as he hammered fist after fist on you. Finally landing one straight into your chest, you felt the wind knocked right out of you as you flew back and landed directly on your back. Gasping for air, you felt pain settle deep in your chest before looking up, managing to half roll out of the way before another fist collided with the ground where your head had just been.
With Bakugo on top of you, you quickly panicked, driving your knees up and colliding it into his behind in an attempt to off balance him. Off balance him it did, forcing his front half even further toward your face. Caught off guard, Bakugo reacted just in time, hands landing on either side of your head to catch himself from falling directly on top of you. He seemed to pause, eyes wide and staring down at you with an intensity so strong you felt light headed. Your chest ached, and you held your breath. After a moment, you bite your lip, eyebrows furrowed as you quietly prodded him. “What?” you asked in a dangerous whisper.
Lowly, he snarled at you in a way that sent shivers down your spine. “Shut up, idiot.” You didn’t have time to react as he suddenly attacked your lips with his own. You were surprised at how much pent up frustration and intensity the kiss held, but even more so at how quickly you responded to it. Closing your eyes, you quickly pushed back into him, raising a hand to grab at the back of his head and fill your fingers with his ashy blonde hair.
Reacting off this, Bakugo growled into the kiss, becoming a bit rougher as he bit at your bottom lip. To this you opened your mouth obediently. Feeling his tongue enter your mouth, you quickly took advantage of his vulnerability and heaved your body up, flipping him onto his back so that you were now straddling him. Never breaking the kiss, you fought for dominance, his hands tangled in your hair. You couldn’t deny how excited you felt, or how well your body was reacting to him. You hadn’t even realized how long you had been aching for this very moment, and at this point you had no idea who was winning or losing.
After a few seconds of wrestling, Bakugo managed to pin you once again, damn your sore muscles. Pulling back from the kiss, you both panted heavily, clearly out of breath from the work out. Taking a few seconds to relax his raging body, he huskily breathed into your ear. “I win.”
Eyes lidded, you stared up at him, feeling as though you might have just been the winner. Breathily, you moved your lips to speak in a hushed tone. “Best two out of three?” Bakugo’s lips turned up into a competitive smirk, the spark lighting back up into his eyes as he let out a deep chuckle.
“You’re on, dumbass,” he breathed, leaning his face back down to yours.
Game’s Night [c,f]
Denki Kaminari x Reader (sorta crack at the beginning and fluff at the end) Word Count: 1650 Warnings: cursing, MomoJirou and IzuOcha reference
❥ Masterlist
•─────⋅☾ ☽⋅─────•
After a long, hard day of classes, hero training and just socialising in general all you wanted to do is lay in bed and fall asleep for the next 16 hours.
But Mina just had to come along and ruin it...
“Hey, we’re hosting a game’s night, wanna join?” Her voice rang from outside of your bedroom.
You really didn’t feel like doing anything tonight so you murmured a quiet ‘no’ under your breath
“Come on Y/N! It’ll be fun, I swear!”
“I don’t wanna... I’m too tired to even exist right now.” You replied back.
Months of hero training improved your stamina significantly yet a week of intense training and pushing yourself to your limits still took a toll on your body.
“Come onnn Y/N! Live a little, would you?” Mina begged. Just as you were about to turn down her offer once more she added “There’ll be a lot of snacks-”
Hearing the word “snacks” made you jump out of your bed in an instant despite your aching body and flinging the door open, scaring the life out of Mina in the process.
“Sign me the fuck up!” You yelled, energy flooding through your vein again.
You weren’t sure why but snacks were just that one thing that you loved above all else. Okay maybe with the exception of Kaminari.
When you and Mina arrived at the common area, most of class 1-A was already there, only missing a few people who were running late due to taking showers etc.
Once everyone was gathered you collectively decided to play a personalised version of Cards Against Humanity.
Ooh boy that was one HECK of a disaster
Some people were literally almost pissing themselves from laughing, some got offended and stormed out of the common area to their own rooms whilst others were trying to clean up the mess from a spar that occurred between Bakugo and Kirishima.
When you were down to half the class you decided to play something that was supposed to be a bit more tame; Never Have I Ever.
This game actually lasted longer than you thought it would
It started out really tame but as the game went on the questions got more and more aimed
This class was competitive, like really competitive.
People were aiming their questions at certain individuals and the game got more and more chaotic as more and more people got exposed
“Okay, my turn!” Sero giggled, still amused by the previous question. “Never have I ever... kissed someone of the same sex” His eyes flickered over to Jirou and Momo for a quick second.
Their faces turned beet red and after hesitating a bit, both of them put a finger down.
The room erupted with “ooh’s” and “aww’s”
You always had a feeling that the two of them were a little more than friends and now, your suspicions were confirmed. To be honest, you shipped them a lot, they just had this dynamic that just made them so perfect for each other.
Okay back to the game
A few minutes later the room had quieten down a little and it was Mina’s turn to ask the question.
“Hmm.. Let me think...” She put her finger on her chin as she looked around the room for possible victims, she stopped at you and a mischievous glint appeared in her eye.
‘Oh no’ you thought to yourself and gulped.
“...Never have I ever had a crush on a classmate with an electricity quirk” She smirked staring directly at you.
This caught the attention of everyone in the room
‘Mina I trusted you! How could you do this to me?! (┬┬﹏┬┬)’ you screamed internally
You liked Kaminari for a while now. You weren’t really sure how this came to be because at the beginning of the year you thought of him as more of a nuisance. Then Mina dragged you into the Bakusquad and you became friends with him. You simply loved his corny jokes and his charming personality and that face he made when he overused his quirk. It was so funny yet cute at the same time! You can’t really explain why but you fell head over heals for this boy.
Everyone was staring at you, especially Kaminari
You looked down at the floor and put a finger down in shame.
You never wanted the ground to open up and swallow you whole so much before.
Little did you know, this action caused a certain blonde-haired boy’s heart beat a bit faster...
Thankfully Kirishima took the attention off of you by asking another question, this time it was aimed directly at Mina
You looked at him and mouthed ‘My hero!’, he responded by simply showing you a thumbs up.
No more than 15 minutes later people were getting bored and/or too embarrassed to stay so they also retreated to their bedrooms.
By now the only people left were you, Baku squad, and Deku squad (minus Iida because he went to sleep early after reminding you to not stay up too late)
When he left Tsuyu proposed playing Truth or Dare, naturally everyone agreed.
Well, you could say that all hell broke loose..
Sero was dared to drink a strange concoction which made him puke his guts out for 10 minutes straight, Deku was dared to kiss Uraraka and she freaked out and caused him to almost float out the window, and Bakugou incinerated a pillow almost causing a fire.
Let’s just say that Aizawa wasn’t pleased when he came into the common room...
Strangely enough, he allowed you to continue playing only if no quirks were used and you kept the noise down.
By now the game wasn’t really truth or dare anymore, it was more like dare or dare. People were running out of questions to ask so they just made their classmates do stupid shit.
An example of this would be Kaminari getting dared to run a three-legged race with you.
Just as you thought people forgot about your semi-forced confession, you were proved wrong.
As your leg was getting tied to Kaminari’s, your face was getting redder and redder
‘Goddammit. I should’ve lied. Things wouldn’t be this freaking awkward now. I can’t even look him in the eyes anymore! I think I ruined our friendship..’
“Okay you ready guys?” A voice snapped you out of your thoughts. “Three, two, one, GO!”
The two of you awkwardly ran down the hallway together, finding a rhythm after a few metres
Until he tripped over a bump in the carpet..
You rolled down the hallway for a bit and when you stopped, you were on top of him, face mere centimetres away from his.
You started at each other for a few seconds, hearts racing and mind’s blank.
You could’ve sworn that he was slowly bringing his face closer to yours but then
“Oi, extras! Get a bloody room, will you?!” Bakugou’s angry voice boomed laced with disgust.
Immediately you tried scrambling to your feet, forgetting about your leg being tied to Kaminari’s which caused you to fall back down again.
You were already embarrassed enough as it is. When you managed to get free you practically ran back to your room.
You couldn’t handle anymore of these kinds of situations today.
You opened a window and sat down on your bed, trying to calm down
The thought of getting up tomorrow and having to eat breakfast with your classmates after they literally saw you straddling Denki made your stomach anxiously twist. You weren’t sure if you could bare to be around him anymore.
You knew that you were overreacting but still. You were a teenager and your hormone were all over the place.
An hour or so had probably passed now and you were starting to fall asleep. Overthinking really does drain energy, huh?
Then a knock sounded at your door.
They really won’t let you rest, will they?
“Hey, Y/N. It’s me, can we talk about earlier?” It was Kaminari.
‘shitshitshitshitshit what am I going to do?’ you panicked. ‘Okay get your shit together Y/N! It’s just Kaminari. He’s basically your best friend! He wouldn’t laugh at you, he’s too sweet for that.’ you told yourself.
Hesitantly, you walked up to the door and opened it. “Hi...” You trailed.
“So, umm... About earlier-” He started.
“I’m sorry that I ran away like that. I freaked out and I didn’t know what to do because being that close to you makes me super nervous because I like you a lot.” You blurted out. Your eyed widened as you realised what you said and you immediately covered your mouth.
You could see that this startled him too by the blush that spread across face all the way to the tips of his ears.
“I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have-”
“I like you too Y/N.” Kaminari admitted.
‘Wait what?!’
“I- uh- would you.. would you like to be my girlfriend/boyfriend?” he stuttered out.
You were stunned pun intended to say the least. You crush just asked you out! You were so dumbfounded that you couldn’t utter a single word in response.
“Ahh.. I take that as a no then...” Kaminari looked down and started walking away but then you got back to your senses and grabbed him by the wrist.
“Kaminari, wait,” He turned around, eyes sparkling slightly in the moonlight which shined in thought one of the large glass windows. “I would love to be your girlfriend.” You smiled gently. His features promptly lit up when he heard your answer.
“Is it alright if I kiss you?” He asked.
“Yes.” You nodded.
And with that he leaned in and pressed his lips against your own. The kiss was gentle yet it was easy to tell that both of you wanted to do this for a long time.
You were glad that you decided to go to the Game’s Night after all.
Headcanons with Class 1-A’s classmate having a Wolf-Dog
Tumblr media
(Yes Game of Thrones inspired me for this one! And you can name your wolf-dog whatever you want!! :3)
Your quirk is Animal Mimicry, which means you can copy the abilities of any animal you want, but you have to actually know the animal’s abilities in order to properly copy their abilities.
Which is what enabled your parents to buy you a pet that would aid and protect you the most.
So they were crazy enough to get you a wolf-dog. But the little pup took to you really quick and instantly became your loyal companion after some training and getting her house-broken.
At first it was a challenge, but your quirk gave you a connection to animals so it was somewhat easier to train the hybrid.
You fondly named your wolf-dog (Dog’s Name of Your Choice).
A lot of people became a bit alarmed though since your beloved animal grew very large and somewhat imposing since she was your height when you got on your knees.
After some training, she became your partner in your goal to be a hero as you believed that animals can be just as heroic, if not more heroic than humans with quirks.
Plus she’s there for you in case you feel sad, anxious or stressed out about anything as she’s also there to provide emotional support and therapeutic benefit.
Since she is very fast and strong, you could become as fast and strong as a wolf-dog, even gaining their speed, jaw strength and even growing claws sharp enough to destroy the robots in the entrance exam and landed you a spot in Class 1-A.
Aizawa is NOT crazy about the idea of having a huge animal (especially a dog) in his classroom, but because you filled out the paperwork he has no choice but to let the animal stay in his class as an honorary hero in training.
·At first her size does intimidate some of your classmates since she looks like a wild wolf that could tear their flesh out if she wanted to, but her friendliness put their worries at ease.
· But she gives a smell test and smells every one of your classmates, which was a bit awkward at times.
·It was okay when she was just smelling their legs or their arms, but it got extremely awkward when she would smell the crotch area. Especially for poor Todoroki, Yaoyorozu and Bakugou and all three of them were quite flustered
The latter reacted with much more indignation than the former two, but you thought it was hilarious and said it was his fault for being sweaty...
·Awkwardness aside, many of your classmates, especially Kirishima, Uraraka and Kouda are ecstatic to have a fluffy, sweet and large doggy in their class everyday. And because (Dog’s Name) is friendly, she is more than happy to be pet by your classmates, and you’re perfectly fine with letting your friends pet her as much as they want.
Kirishima and Kouda tend to abuse that policy though because (Dog’s Name) loves them both and often demands them to pet her even during a class session…
(Dog’s Name) absolutely adores Midoriya though, and often flusters the boy by licking him the most even in class and at times just shows up to lick him during the most random times.
As a result, she is not favored by Bakugou, but (Dog’s Name) likes the way he smells and often sniffs him or tries to lick him, but Lord Explosion Murder isn’t having it.
“Get the hell away from me you oversized mutt!” He often yells at her, but she’s so large she isn’t intimidated and expect these two to have glaring matches as they both growl at each other.
Tsuyu is a bit worried to pet her due to her frog quirk that automatically protects her from a frog’s natural predators (dogs included) so she can only pet him when she’s wearing her gloves.
Mina and Hagakure adore the fluffy dog and love to pet her, and (Dog’s Name) mistakes Ojiro for another dog due to his large tail so she tries to get him to play with her but he just chuckles awkwardly and pets the wolf-dog.
Tokoyami is a bit alarmed by the wolf-dogs’s sheer size, Dark Shadow is especially not comfortable around the canine but (Dog’s Name) likes them both just fine, albeit sometimes her instincts kick in and she tries to chase him and you have to stop her.
Iida isn’t so fond of the fact that a large animal is in his classroom, but you just wave the papers in his face to remind him that whether he likes it or not, (Dog’s Name) is an honorary classmate.
(Dog’s Name) is very affectionate and friendly to all the students of Class 1-A, including Mineta, but Mineta dislikes her because she’s always trying to attack him and chew him up as she thinks he’s a chew-toy.
“Hey she’s the only girl who will ever chase after him…” You made a bit of a mean joke when once again (Dog’s Name) was chasing the screaming grape boy while everyone just watched and did absolutely nothing about it.
Much to the pleasure of Yaoyorozu, Tsuyu and Jirou. “Good Girl!” Jirou made sure to praise the wolf-dog for chasing down Mineta.
However you horrified all of your male classmates one training day by showing off a trick you taught (Dog’s Name)…
Which was teaching her how to bite down on a man’s privates as a brutal attack by saying the trigger word ‘DANKON!!’ and you did a demonstration by giving her a sausage treat which she instantly chomped on when hearing the trigger word.
Midoriya, Iida, Ojiro, Aoyama, and especially Kaminari, Sero Kirishima and Mineta were absolutely horrified and trembling in terror at such vivid imagery, Mineta, Kaminari, Sero and Kirishima may or may not have been covering their own groins out of fear.
Iida scolded you for teaching your dog such a ‘villainous trick’ but the sadistic side of you ate how scared they were.
Even stoic and/or apathetic Bakugou, Todoroki, Shoji and Tokoyami are a little unnerved by what your dog can do just with the right trigger word...
Uraraka, Jirou and Mina secretly find it hilarious like you do though...
Terrifying tricks aside , you make it a point to tell everyone that she is also there for therapeutic benefit as (Dog’s Name) can tell if someone is upset or anxious. So she tends to go and try to cheer up some of your classmates.
Especially Midoriya, Todoroki and Bakugou. She lets Midoriya pet her when he’s feeling anxious, and when Todoroki is brooding about Endeavor, (Dog’s Name) nuzzles and licks him and succeeds in getting a small  chuckle from IcyHot.
Bakugou tried pushing her away, but the dog was stubborn during a small breakdown he had in secret after he’s rescued from the LOV. He reluctantly let the dog nuzzle him and actually pet the docile, whimpering wolf-dog.
Her favorites aside from you, are Midoriya, Uraraka, Kirishima, Yaoyorozu, Kouda, Mina and Sero.
And when Shinsou is put into Class 1-A, of course he prefers cats and is somewhat put off by the horse-like dog, but (Dog’s Name) takes an instant liking to him and gives him the honorary smell test and an affectionate lick to his cheek.
Despite his preference, Shinsou appreciated the lick but was also disgusted by how much slobber one dog can make...
However, she might be friendly and affectionate to Class 1-A, but is very hostile and aggressive towards villains, especially the League of Villains as she attacked and even maimed a delinquent villain during the USJ and defended Uraraka and Tsuyu from Toga.
So they all view (Dog’s Name) as a very useful ally due to her strength, strong sense of smell and ability to terrify most villains with her size and ferocity alone.
She was a great hep during the LOV’s attack during the Summer Training, and you and her were part of the Bakugou Rescue squad as she was able to help track down the Nomu’s scent and was able to catch Bakugou’s scent.
It’s a little scary to see her bare her fangs, and even more scary when you bare fangs upon fighting alongside your companion, but your classmates are also awed by how your quirk gives you such a bond with the wolf-dog.
It’s also a little funny to see her go from aggressive to sweet whenever a conflict is resolved, as all (Dog’s Name) wants is pets and huggles.
So overall it’s safe to say that (Dog’s Name) is the class pet and you are all too happy to give her that name because she’s the best doggy you can ask for, and the best doggy Class 1-A can ask for.
(Gonna make more of these with individual classmates!)
The King's Game
Pairing: Bakugo X Gender Neutral! Reader
Summary: The Bakusquad invited you to play the King’s Game with them since you were a bit newer to the class and seemed a bit more recluse. Your cool, calm demeanor had been something Bakugo was annoyed with but admired nonetheless, his crush on you was part of it. Mina thought maybe that something funny or embarrassing would break that rather apathetic expression you always had. But they got way more than they bargained for when you said something that had them reeling.
Warning: Angst
A/N: Guys, lemme know if you want more surrounding this type of thing because I really like it.
(AO3 Link)
Tumblr media
The smell of grapefruit always stung his nose whenever you were near, it wasn’t unpleasant but at this point, he could always tell when you were coming. He didn’t know why he suddenly became invested in your scent, but it was slowly becoming a problem. There were times he could think of nothing but grapefruit, and he hated it.
Bakugo fucking Katsuki doesn’t fucking pine, especially not for dull faced losers like you.
When it hit him like a train that afternoon, the ball that grew in his stomach came back. Along with an intense scowl and the sudden want to leave the room. No such luck, considering he lost a bet and he’s not the type of man to go back on his word.
Ashido came in, gripping at your wrist and tugging you along with an million-watt smile that could rival All-Might’s. You allowed her to pull you along, expression as dull as ever.
Your scent was a little muddled by something else, something he couldn’t put a name to.
“Mina’s not forcing you to play, is she?” Sero immediately asked, making the pinkette gasp indignantly.
Before anything else can be said, you gave a lazy smile and shook your head. Sleepy, half lidded eyes flickering between them before you spoke in that low, soft voice, “Nah, I came willingly, I was just moving too slow for her tastes.”
She rolled her eyes and shoved you towards the space between Bakugo and Kaminari, stuffing herself in between the latter and Sero. Crossing her arms over her chest she huffed, “The boys woulda become dust with the pace you were going at.”
“Alright, alright, let’s just play now.” Kirishima piped with a light chuckle, lifting the cup full of cheap, wood chopsticks and shaking it around to mix it up. “Might as well before we hit curfew.”
Bakugo peered at you wordlessly out of the corner of his eye, his head resting on his arm as he set his elbow on the table. You were in his peripheral, close enough for him to feel your warmth close to his right arm. With time, maybe this stupid crush of his would go away but for now, he’d be content just having you this close.
While the cup was being passed around, he watched your face. Your half-lidded eyes, a tiny bit dark, the bags that circled under them. How the plush of your lips gave as you gently pursed them. Handing the final chopstick over to him, his gaze met your’s, although for just a moment
He snorted lowly, looking to the chopstick he was given.
“Who is the King?!”
It wasn’t him.
“Me!” Denki’s bright grin and mischievous glimmer in his honey orbs made everyone immediately on edge.
All except you. You sat there, poker faced and calm, fingers curled around your chopstick. Despite how lazy and impassioned you appeared, your posture was good, poised and elegant. Bakugo hated that you were so calm, like you were prepared for everything that was gonna happen.
“Alright, let’s start this off proper!! Number two has to sit in…. Number three’s lap until the next round is over!”
His voice so smug that it was annoying, his shit eating grin making Bakugo huff and roll his eyes yet again. You set down your chopstick, revealing that you were four. His was six, Flat-face was one. So that meant it’s one of the other two.
“Oooh! How scandalous!” Mina practically cackled as she lifted her’s grinning broadly at Kirishima, the number ‘three’ in bold black.
He blushed and glared at Kaminari for a moment before he sighed and got up, muttering, “Don’t blame me if you lose circulation.”
Once the redhead was settled on Mina’s lap and small little giggles and snickers subsided, the chopsticks were placed back in the cup and the next round began. Bakugo was shaking the cup roughly, mostly to make sure Dunce-face didn’t get the chance to be King again. He didn’t want to get dragged into this game, but here he was. Hopefully, it wasn’t Pinky’s go either, she was just as bad, if not worse than the electric blond.
“Who is the King?!”
Not him, again. Whatever.
It wasn’t you either.
“It’s me!” Sero piped with a smile, the stick in his hand bringing relief to everyone for the time being. “Number six has to go out and get us all drinks from the vending machine.”
“What?!” Denki exclaimed, surprised by the demand and pouted, “But it’s cold out!”
“Put on pants and a jacket.” Eijiro stated, his expression showing not an ounce of sympathy since Denki had placed him in Ashido’s lap.
“Jeez Kiri, no mercy, huh?” You asked, an amused smile tugging up the corners of your lips.
Bakugo felt the telltale heat creep up his neck at the sight of your smile, but forced it back the best he could by tensing his shoulders and trying to keep his blood from circulating to his face. Shit, this was annoying, he hated that he blushed so easily. It came with the territory of sweating so much.
“Nope.”
Kaminari opened his mouth to protest but with everyone’s expectant gazes and glares, he heaved a long sigh and pouted as he grumbled, “What do you guys want?”
Once he received the drink orders, he moved to his room to bundle up a bit. Returning with his clothes and his wallet, he gave a weak glare before he slowly shuffled towards the door.
"Means you can get off, we’re gonna play the next round without 'em.” Sero said to the redhead, who sighed in relief and removed himself from the pinkette’s lap.
“Aww, and I was just enjoying having you so close to me.” She chirped, nudging him playfully.
“Shut up.” He snickered, shoving her in response before he sat down between you and Mina.
The cup was being shaken again, one chopstick left out.
The sticks were distributed again.
“Who is the King?!”
It wasn’t him. Again.
God, this was getting repetitive.
“Oh, me!!” Kirishima laughed, lifting the stick in what seemed to be relief.
Shitty-hair wasn’t that bad either, maybe just a bit intense but not really set out to embarrass anyone; just rile them up a bit. Bakugo is usually his target, much to his chagrin.
“Alright, number one, you gotta say something positive about someone you don’t like all that much!”
“Oh, really?” Hanta blinked gently before he rubbed the back of his neck and frowned, “I’m… Not sure that I have anyone I don’t like…”
You didn’t bat an eye, your arms folded in front of you on the table as you laid your head on them. You peered at the ravenet with a smirk, the name falling from your lips, “Mineta.”
There was silence before Katsuki flicked his gaze over to see his reaction and barked out a laugh at the vague look of annoyance decorating Sero’s features.
“Ugh… I guess he’s smart? He’s the reason I passed the practical exams our first year.”
It went through the motions; the shaking of the cup, the drawing of the chopsticks, so on.
“Who is the King?!”
Wasn’t him.
But the cheer from Pinky made him almost pale.
The moment he’s been dreading… Fuck.
That million-watt smile was almost terrifying with how wide it was, her gold irises shrinking with her delight and maniacal giggles sent chills through the room. His grip tightened on the piece in his hands, almost afraid to look at the number.
With the anxious expressions of Sero and Kirishima, it was pretty clear that they felt similarly about her being given such power.
You remained relaxed, gazing at your stick with a look of near boredom. He didn’t understand how you could relax so openly since Mina was clearly looking for targets.
“Alright, number four!” Maybe Alien Queen would’ve been an appropriate name for her after all, since she was cackling between her words, “You gotta give number one a kiss on the cheek!!”
Bakugo inwardly shivered at that, slowly bringing his gaze to his assigned number. He was moving slow, silently praying to god that it wasn’t him that had to worry about being kissed or having to kiss either Flat-face or Shitty-hair. But for some reason, he could hear those two laughing.
As he tried processing what was written on the stick, something very soft and very warm pressed to his right cheek. Grapefruit invaded his senses and as quickly as the softness touched his cheek, it was gone.
He snapped his head towards you, carmine tinted eyes wide. Your face filled up practically all of his vision with how close you were, your lips curled upwards as your minty breath ghosted over his face. He swallowed the lump in his throat, embarrassment taking place of the fear as he slowly realized what just happened.
“Oh ho ho! You’re so bold!” Mina giddily laughed, looking quite pleased at Katsuki’s frazzled expression.
In an instant, the embarrassment turned to complete and utter fury. The burning of his face making him scowl further as he snapped his eyes towards her and then over to you, baring his teeth.
“You two —”
“Well, to be fair, I did really want to do it.” You shot, dropping your stick back into the cup offhandedly making the heat in his cheeks worsen.
“Bakubro, you can get 'em back next round… If you’re King that is.” The redhead interjected afterward to keep the explosive blond from ripping Ashido to pieces.
He liked the kiss, but like hell he’d admit it to that stupid Pinky.
“Tch.” He scoffed. “Fine.”
You looked amused again, although your expression softened a little bit. Pretty eyes shimmering with something he hadn’t really seen before, at least, in how you looked at him.
Fondness?
Affection?
Knowing?
Either way, it fueled his embarrassed fury.
As did the telltale snickering of his supposed friends.
The same old song and dance, the rattling of sticks, the picking and choosing.
“Who is the King?!”
It was him.
Bakugo was sure he looked out for blood at this time, especially with the crazed grin he was sporting. Everyone but you looked genuinely horrified. It almost pissed him off with how relaxed you were, how calm you always were, he didn’t fucking understand you.
“Number two.” He practically snarled, having gotten a glimpse of your stick.
He had to get you back for the kiss after all. So hearing something embarrassing about you would be perfect retribution for his damaged pride and that stupid flirt you dropped.
The ash blond continued, his eyes glittering with a vengeance so intense that he was sure he unnerved you at least a bit, “Tell us your deepest, darkest secret.”
You simply blinked twice, as impassive as before. Placing the stick back into the cup, stuffing your hands into the pockets of the oversized hoodie that hung off of your frame.
He felt his chest constrict at the air that you suddenly took on, his throat closing at your body slumping in what looked like utter exhaustion.
“Alright.” Your voice was hollow, pinning them all in place with an thousand-yard stare.
Bakugo felt himself frown at your expression, the distant eyes, the lazy smile that fell into something akin to a grimace. The others noticed the change in you as well, the mood in the room dipped and you sat in silence for a minute, maybe two. He was about to change the order but as you slowly shifted back, lifting your gaze to them all, he couldn’t speak.
For the first time, you seemed serious. Usual lackadaisical disposition just gone in a single moment.
“We’re stuck in a time loop.” It was blunt, simple, and straight to the point, “It starts Monday and goes through until Sunday, I’m the only one that remembers every single loop without fail. I don’t know why, I don’t know why me. I don’t have a time quirk or a future telling quirk. But I’ve done everything I could to try and stop it, none of it worked. It’s been 86 loops thus far.”
They all stared at you for a long moment, your blank expression and deep bags almost cementing your point. But the silence was broken by nervous laughter from Kirishima, his eyes flickering from person to person.
“Uh… G - good joke there.”
He nearly jumped when your gaze snapped to him, your voice was lower now with a bit of an edge to it, “The only way I get any reprieve from this shit is sleeping, that’s why I do it so much so I don’t have to keep being reminded that all I do is for naught. Hell, this isn’t even the first time I’ve told you. It’s the same thing, again and again and again and then some. I’m not fucking around Kirishima.”
Bakugo’s head was reeling, you’ve never acted or spoken this way to any of them; least of all Eijiro.
But there was no way you could’ve been telling the truth!
There was no way in hell that they wouldn’t remember being in a time loop…
Right?
"Do you have any proof?” He snipped, a lot more roughly than he meant to. The ash blond didn’t have a chance to feel guilty though, as you snapped your gaze over to him and then to Sero who jolted back in surprise at the intensity of your usually placid eyes.
You lifted a finger and pointed at the ravenet, who swallowed thickly.
“He’s gonna receive a text in a minute from his crush.” You said quite a-matter-of-factly, as if it was exactly what was going to happen.
Ding.
Everyone froze at the notification noise and shifted their attention to Hanta. He bit his lip before he reached into his pocket and slowly slipped his phone from it, he peered cautiously at you and tapped at the screen.
“Would you like to go with me to the botanical garden this weekend? I really want to see the new camera you got for me in action. Two peace sign emojis followed up with a bowing one.” You recited, sounding almost bored.
Sero paled in shock, pupils shrinking before he turned the phone towards the rest of them. Word for word, like you had it memorized, there it was. As all of their eyes fell back on you, you just remained the same.
Eyes lost of their sheen, hands stuffed into the pockets of the hoodie that was way too big for you. Chin tucked in the collar, the dark circles around your eyes were prominent. Expression of someone that knew too much and just held it all in for the sake of those around them written on your face
Bakugo felt his chest ache at this but he needed more than that, his brows knitting tightly together as the gnaw of anxiety welled in his stomach, “What else?”
“Oof, you did the same thing last time.” You snorted, although there was no humor in it.
“There’s no way we could just go off of that.”
Katsuki nearly choked at you matching his words, perfectly from cadence to his tone of voice. Your dull expression burned itself into his brain, lovely features just tired.
“This is nuts.”
The redhead let out a squeak, since you didn’t even look at him as you copied him as well.
“Look, we can keep doing this or we can move on and just kind of deal with this until Sunday.” You rubbed your hand over your face,reaching back and pulling your hood up to sink into the cloth. “Either way… Doesn’t matter what we do.”
“W - wait, we still don’t know a hundred percent!! You could just —” Mina stammered, still trying to wrap her head around the idea; her eyes panicked.
You slowly stood up, dragging your fingers over your cheek as you gave a trembling sigh.
Bakugo didn’t know what to think or say at this point, his eyes trained solely on you. His heart speeding and squeezing at the same time, his mouth opening and closing like a beached fish.
He wanted to help you, wanted to offer you some type of comfort, anything….
But he didn’t know what to do.
“Kami’s gonna come through that door in a moment, he’s soaked from tripping into the snow. From left to right, the drinks he has are mine, Kiri’s, Mina’s, Bakugo’s, and Sero’s.” The hum of your voice was near silent at this point, voice so emotionless that it made Mina let out a wail.
You didn’t look at them, eyes staring off somewhere else.
The energy, the life was sucked from you, so it seemed Ashido took it on herself to cry for you. Kirishima’s eyes began to flood as well, curling his arm around the pinkette to try and sooth her. Sero looked so pale that he was about to faint, shaking hands squeezing the other trying to stop himself from breaking down
Katsuki clenched his fists so hard he was sure his nails were making his palms bleed.
But Eijiro’s comfort was useless, her sobs only growing louder as the door opened and in stepped in Denki. Sopping from the snow, holding the drinks in his arms as you said. He stood, his honey eyes full of distress and confusion upon seeing everyone.
“Good night.”
With that, you turned towards the hallway and disappeared from sight. Leaving them clueless…
And still hungry for answers.
Alright so, Vigilante group AU because I can
Some themes won’t make sense unless you have read my XReader on Quotev. This group pair up is really odd and I love it.
Also, undercut to make everyone’s life better
Okay, so in this Au instead of (Name) living with the heroes, she ends up running away after her father is killed and mother is hospitalised
Everyone is both confused, frightened and heartbroken
Two years after is when (Name) starts her plan
It takes about a year for (Name) to acquire the things she needs, but once she does, she goes out searching for a team
First is someone who’s good at organising, someone who can profile both heroes and villains and would be good for keeping an eye on the situation. This turns out to be Midoriya and after about an hour of crying, shouting and just reuniting, she asks him to be the first on the team. It takes a lot of convincing because it’s Midoriya and being a hero is his main goal and he couldn’t become a vigilante as it would ruin his chances to become one and so (Name) leaves him alone to think over it
After a while he agrees, time for the next recruit
Next is a person who can easily take control over a bad situation, who can at as negotiator, an interrogator and someone who she’s only seen a few times before; Shinso Hitoshi. She approaches him after his school day on the idea
He says yes before she can finish her sentence.
Kirishima Eijiro. People didn’t believe that his Quirk would get stronger than relative hardening and he started to believe that too but (Name) saw potential in him, she believed that a Quirk like his could be something great and offered him a place.
Then Kaminari Denki. Electrification a powerful but dangerous Quirk, however, his inability to keep control of his own power held him back, after all, how could you be a hero if you could potentially harm the innocent? Once again, (Name) offered another place
Sero Hanta. He could shoot tapes out of his elbows and well, people found it humorous that he would want to join the Hero Course at non-other than U.A, but (Name) could tell that he could use his Quirk effectively, for capture, for transport and there was another place offered
And last but not least, Monoma Neito. His copy Quirk was seen negatively to others, it was seen as inferior, he was a copycat and who wanted a copycat as a hero? Well, why be a hero when you could be a vigilante? And that was the last person to join the team
It’s an odd group, they could all say that with confidence and the first official meeting was awkward as fuck
Yet, the more they interacted, the better their bond seemed to become
They had to train first and that’s what really got them together, learning their strengths and weaknesses helped mould their team and it was great
They completely accepted Midoriya being Quirkless, I mean, being Quirkless didn’t define you and your skills
Midoriya stayed out of the field anyway, he was a profiler and dived into the technical work, he was the eyes in the sky (or the building from that hacked CCTV camera)
(Name) introduced them a base she had made and some of the items that they could use for future use
No one knew where they came from, all (Name) said was that they were from an anonymous donor (Don’t worry she didn’t steal it, it’s due to familial connections)
They started from the bottom and worked their way to deeper and more dangerous work
Their first mission was just working with purse snatchers, burglars, just small stuff until they could handle the more dangerous stuff, such as drug/weapon smugglers, human trafficking, dangerous gangs
They became popular to the media and an instant frustration to the heroes
They led their normal lives and their vigilante lives and no one expected a thing, I mean, come on, people like Midoriya, Shinso, Kirishima- any of them fighting evil and reducing crime at a faster rate than most heroes? Not really believable
They’re all so close as well, their hideout isn’t just a place to discuss plans and investigate, it’s their den, their hangout, they can visit each other there, they can play console there, they have dinner there and sometimes they’ll all just stay there for the night and talk about anything and everything
Midoriya helps Kirishima, Kaminari and Sero with their studying
Monoma can practice his Quirk training with all of them
Shinso has brought multiple kittens and cats to their humble abode
(Name) and Kaminari always have gaming competitions together
Everyone is now into crocs and socks because of Kirishima and it’s disgusting
Also, Sero does the shopping because all (Name) brings is sweets and junk food so he has to bring the nutrition into this home
It’s just so awesome, they’re one big happy family
They’re all so accepting of one another and can share everything with each other
I mean, they fight crime, have probably been nearly killed, why wouldn’t they be close?
Then the All Might incident happens and Midoriya’s offered the hero’s Quirk
He tells them of course, ‘cause come on, they’ll notice that their residential Quirkless boy has now got the power of a whole entire nation
Everyone’s so shook
“???? All Might can pass down his Quirk???????”
Wide eyes
Mouths dropped
Confused muttering
Kaminari short-circuited
It’s a humourful chaos
So they’re not quite sure what the next step is?
Midoriya’s gonna go U.A?
He’s gonna become a hero?
He’s gonna have a Quirk?
What???????
Then (Name) has a thought
“You could spy on the students of U.A and we’ll know what kind of future heroes we’ll be up against. The rest of you can go with him”
WHAT???
“What about you?”
“You guys know I can’t be seen by other pros, it’s been eight years, they probably think I’m dead and it’ll just cause drama and conflict”
“Then what? What do we do after this, get our hero licenses?”
“Drop out, maybe disappear, idk”
????? Not very helpful, (Name)????
But that’s what they do, all of them minus (Name) attend the entrance exam and all of them get into U.A
To make it more believable, they divided themselves up a bit
Shinso dropped into General Studies with a ‘goal’ to make it into the Hero Course
Monoma made it into Class 1-B and creates a character with an inferiority complex and a hatred from Class 1-A
Kirishima, Kaminari, Sero and Midoriya all made it into 1-A
Midoriya distances himself from the other three but the three’s dynamic works well and they get to act like friends around one another
Midoriya can drop in now and again but only for a little bit because of Bakugo
It goes really well for them
They frequently report back to base with info about students, they talk about their day and gossip about their groups
“This girl called Hatsume passed out while standing up and I think I now understand why you guys want me to sleep more” “NOW YOU UNDERSTAND!?”
“I bumped into Midoriya while we were walking to class and instead of apologising I had to act like I did it on purpose and Kendo slapped me on the back of the neck again” “I saw that man and it looked like a hard slap, are you okay?” “It hurts to turn”
After the USJ incident, they all collectively decide to investigate into it and find out who could be the traitor
There have been a couple of incidents where the teachers have begun to suspect their little group of something, they just don’t know what
There is one thing the teachers can collectively agree on, these guys seem kinda familiar
And yeah, that’s all I got for now, but I’ll add more to it if people want more cause honestly I really like this idea? I dunno, whatever the audience wants, they shall receive
Different jobs that My Hero Academia characters could have (as adults)
*LONG POST WARNING! MORE UNDER THE CUT*
1. Midoriya- The Good Cop™
Deku always wanted to save people and before One for All became a part of his life everyone advised him to simply go for the police. If he didn’t become a hero, he would probably become a policeman, and he’d probably make a damn good one, taking into account his perfect balance of righteousness, selflessness, and empathy. If all cops were like him, the world would be saved.
Midoriya: *holds back tears* I-it’s okay now... Because I am here...
2. Bakugou- The Impulsive Soldier
Is there any job that Bakugou could like doing more than fighting? He could initially struggle with being at the very bottom of the military hierarchy, but being put in his place for a while could perhaps help him get over his problems with accepting losing and help. And anyway, he’d climb up fast. After all, this boy’s strong and smart as heck. Just imagine him getting to drill the new recruits...
Bakugou: *yells* I’LL KILL YOU, LAZY SCUM!! 500 PUSH UPS, starting NOW!!
New recruit, terrified to the core: Aye sir!
3. Uraraka- Bob The Builder
Uraraka’s quirk would be perfect to use on a construction site. She’s a strong girl, practical and determined, and would even manage to deal with any potential accidents at work. Plus she comes from the working class, but that’s just an addition.
Uraraka: I can work hard and earn money for my parents this way too!
4. Todoroki- The Vengeful Firefighter
Get it? FIRE-FIGHTER. Now THAT would be a way to go against Endeavor and his plans, wouldn’t it? Tbh much sassier than becoming a hero.
Todoroki: It is then... *15 minutes of traumatic flashback* when I decided to devote the rest of my life to fighting fire. After all, it reminded me of my father... the reason I got this scar...
5. Tsuyu- The Lifeguard
Taking into account what hero internship Tsuyu chose, it is quite easy to determine what she would do with life if she wouldn’t become a hero. The sea is her area, and water is her friend. But she needs some contact with the land too like frogs do and she liked saving people so...
Tsuyu: Kero... *blows the whistle* Please get out of the water, a storm is coming!
6. Iida- The Pure Lawyer
Iida is the most Lawful Good person in existence, probably. He likes rules, knows them all, and is really dedicated to reminding others of them. Cases with his involvement would be guaranteed to be solved justly, regardless of the benefit of his client.
Iida: *gesticulation intensifies* Your honor, I urge you to consider Article 137, paragraph 3! And wear warmer clothes tomorrow, this weather can make you sick!
7. Kaminari- The Portable Phone Charger  Disco Bartender
Kaminari is surely someone who likes people and a good party. Even if his quirk would make him perfect for an electrician, quite certainly he’d just regard it FAR TOO DULL. This boy wants to be COOL. He’d probably try to work his way up to a manager or owner of his own club; but with his intelligence stats, this could take a while. For now, he’d make SHOCKING drinks and chat with everyone around.
Kaminari: *obviously flirting with customers and showing off his cool electricity tricks* yEAH MY FUTURE CLUB WILL BE THE COOLEST! Imagine like... MEME THEMED PARTY
Customer: *quietly* That sounds kind of cringy...
8. Mina- The Kids Entertainer
Mina just seems like someone who’d be simply ADORED by kids. She’s sweet, bubbly, so so fun, and looks like she’s dressed up already! The Alien Queen parties would be booked months in advance. And every kid would dream of getting one for their birthday...
Mina: IF YOU’RE HAPPY AND YOU KNOW IT CLAP YOUR HANDS!
Kids: *climb on her back trying to touch the horns* ALIEN QUEEEEEN!!!
9. Kirishima & Testutetsu- The MMA stars
STRONG BOIS. MASCULINE BROS. GOTTA BE THE MANLIEST and gayest. MMA ROCKS AND HAS A HEART OF STEEL! Also Kirishima would be quickly voted the greatest cinnamon roll of MMA
Tetsutetsu: *screaming and wrestling*
Kirishima: *screaming and wrestling wholesomely*
10. Ojiro- The Veterinary Assistant
Ojiro isn’t the greatest fan of the spotlight, and probably would enjoy a calm, but helpful job as a veterinary assistant. Plus, his tail can give him instant connection points with scared, caudate pets!
Ojiro: *waggles his tail*
A normally aggressive dog: *waggles the tail back and jumps to lick his face*
Ojiro: *giggles, petting the dog* See, there’s nothing to be scared of!
11. Toru- The Shop Assistant actually secretly a CIA Covert Investigator but shhh it’s a secret
We know that Toru likes shopping and would probably be great as a boutique employee. She’s sweet, she has great social skills, and she certainly has style! But at the same time... it would be hard to believe that with her quirk she didn’t get a suggestion to become a spy alongside her job. Did she agree? Did she not? I guess we’ll never know...
Toru: You look amazing in this suit, Mr. President! I think you should really buy it! *places a tiny hidden camera inside the pocket*
12. Koda- The Wildlife Rehabilitator
There is no other job where the ability to talk to the animals would be more life-saving than a wildlife rehabilitator. Also, taking into account how shy Koda seems, he’d probably prefer to work with animals rather than humans...
Koda: Don’t worry, sweet bunny! You’re safe now!
Bunny: *noms on his plushie*
13. Aoyama- The Sparkling Model
Was there ever any doubt? Aoyama would be a STUNNING model. Just imagine...
*LIGHTS OFF*
*A REFLECTOR ILLUMINATES A SINGLE SPOT ON THE STAGE*
*EPIC MUSIC PLAYS, THE CROWD WHISPERS EXCITED*
AND THERE HE COMES......
Aoyama in his new pajamas collection!
Aoyama: I cAnNoTu StOpPu SpArKLiNg!!
14. Yaomomo- The Patient Teacher
Lecturing Mina and Kaminari among others before the exams just HAD to take lots of patience and supreme teaching skills. If she managed to make these two pass, she can definitely deal EVEN with a class of 30 10-year-olds.
Momo: *for the 13th time* Now, let’s try again! 2 times 3 is?
Some kid with IQ of Kaminari an ameba: ....4?
15. Jirou- The Sound Engineer
She’d definitely keep playing music as her hobby but she seems like a person who’d like to have a stable, technical job as her primary source of income nonetheless. Plus, her quirk would be perfect to hear out the slightest inadequacies of sound!
Jirou: So we have to add gain here, equalize there, distort over here, and probably remaster the whole thing too.
A very confused beginning artist: Uh-uh...
16. Tokoyami- The Subculture Shop Owner
Tokoyami is such a goth birb. So dramatic. So dark. If any goths or emos saw his room in the dorms they would all LOVE this aesthetic. As such, he’d make a good job at picking and selling clothes and accessories for fellow goths and other subcultures. And having Dark Shadow would just make him more famous...
Some goth girl: So you’re like... REALLY filled with a Dark Shadow of you? That’s so spooky!
Tokoyami, who already heard this question 20 times in the past 2 hours: What do you want to buy?
17. Sero- The Steeplejack
With that quirk, he pretty much wouldn’t have to worry about falling. Not to mention THE POWER OF FLEX TAPE
Sero: *swinging on the tape on top of a cathedral* This is pretty fun!
Other steeplejacks: *clinging to their ladders* Watch out!
18. Satou- The Pastry Cook
Mmmm his cakes. The world lost a treasure when Satou decided to be a hero instead of a pastry cook. Truly heartbreaking. Think of all the tasty things he would make constantly...
Class 1A, plotting behind his back: We have to make Satou fall out of the hero course
Satou, terrified: G-guys! I can bake you cakes without that!
19. Mineta- The Pimp *mild NSFW*
I am so sorry. Oh, wait, actually I’m not. Why is Mineta even trying to be a hero? I mean, should THAT be the job of his dreams?
Mineta: *manic laughter* OH MY IT’S LIKE A WET DREAM
20. Monoma- The Professional 4chaner  Internet Troll Actually why did I cross it off, that’s exactly what he’d do
I have no words.
Monoma: *sips Red Bull, typing* HA! CLASS 1A! YOU SPECIAL SNOWFLAKES REEEEEEEEEEE CUCK
21. Shinsou- The Questionable Detective
Ah yes. The police for introverts. Like Midoriya, Shinsou would probably want to save people a lot, so I reckon he’ll choose this path if he wouldn’t become a hero. Just think of how useful his quirk could be...
Shinsou: *having a suspect hypnotized* Knock on the table three times if you did it.
Suspect: *knocks*
Another detective: ...Are you sure this is ethical?
22. Hatsume- The Weirdly Motherly Engineer
I mean, she sort of already is one... But she could probably design much more than just hero costumes! What if she went to robotics... Then her babies could actually talk back to her!
Hatsume, turning on a new robot: My new baby!
Robot: *turning to Hatsume* Mama!
Every human being around: *assessing Hatsume’s age and judging hard*
23. All Might- The Hollywood celebrity specializing in superhero movies!
#LETALLMIGHTPLAYCAPTAINAMERICA2018
All Might: *looking at the shipping fanarts following the movie world premiere* ...........why has my life come to this
24. Aizawa- The Cat Cafe owner
CATS ARE BETTER THAN PEOPLE. If he had the money and time, he’d FOR SURE set up his own cafe of purring babies. And he’d be very protective over them every time he’d visit...
Aizawa: *thunder in eyes* Don’t you DARE disturb Marshmallow’s sleep, you can pet her when she wants to and ONLY IF she wants to
Mic: AWWWW MARSHMALLOW THAT’S ADORABLEEE
Aizawa: *aggressive whispering* I swear if your screams wake her up I WILL assassinate you
25. Present Mic- The Full-time Radio Host
I mean, this one is kind of obvious. How does he have 3 jobs at once anyway?
Mic: *PLAYS AFRICA BY TOTO FOR THE 3RD TIME DURING HIS 4 HOUR PROGRAM* I BLESS THE RAIN DOWN IN AAAAAAFRICAAAAA yo what do you mean I’m being cringy
26. Midnight- The 18+ Domina
Another kinda obvious one? Oh well. She’d be happy and empowered doing that, so don’t judge.
Midnight: Ah, so exciting!!
27. Tomura- The Unemployed
Tomura’s personality doesn’t seem exactly suited for any kind of work... or society, for this matter. At least as long as All For One is around, he’d certainly rest on him, gaming his days away. And after that... even though his sensei already planned for him to take over his company, Tomura prefers not to think about that.
Tomura: *hissing at any opportunity of a job* I don’t like this quest *hides in the hoodie*
28. All For One- The Plotting CEO
All For One seems to love his suit and wears it quite well, so he could certainly do well at a largely formal, managing job. And he’d be the first to exploit ALL for ONE, something that large businesses unfortunately often do...
All For One: *ruining someone’s life and fortune with a smirk* How unfortunate... for you, of course.
29. Toga- The Professional Cosplayer
Toga’s quirk and erm... interests seem to be perfect for her to be a psycho fan of real-life celebrities, whose blood she steals for her cosplays. As these “cosplays” she makes are literally perfect, she manages to get quite a lot of money from the photoshoots. The celebrities are just very surprised noticing a fresh needle wound on their arm when they wake up in the morning...
Toga: *jumping up and down* I want to become them all! I will become them all! I want to cut them! Blood!
Tag, You’re It!: Shinsou x Witch!Reader Pt. 2
Tumblr media
Part 2 to Part 1: https://chocolatekitsune.tumblr.com/
Pt. 2: Play Along, Iida
As you ran with your two friends, you saw Kaminari running with Sero. “Kaminari! Sero!” You waved to the cheerful boys. “Hey! (Y/N)!” Kaminari grinned as he waved at you.
“Do ya’ll know whose it?!”
“Last I heard it was Midoriya!” Sero answered you first, and you nearly perked up, along with Todoroki.
“As soon as Bakugou saw him he was the first one he tagged!” Kaminari added, and you sighed in annoyance before it quickly became sympathy for your poor second best friend.
“Aww man Greenie…” You shook your head, “Well! Stay away from Izuku guys! He’s it!” You shouted for anyone else in the vicinity, many of whom started to run or hide away.
“This is where we hide or run!” You instructed Todoroki, who understood now that he knew that Midoriya was currently ‘it’ and probably looking for someone to supposedly ‘tag’. “So Midoriya’s it.” Todoroki sighed, feeling bad for the poor guy since apparently Bakugou tagged him immediately. “Now I have to evade him.” His tone clearly showed that he felt bad for having to run away from his friend, but that just made you laugh.
“Hey he’s our friend but in this game you gotta run or keep up bro. See you!” You grinned and winked at him before taking Shinsou’s hand and teleporting him and yourself away somewhere else, earning yet another look of mild surprise from Todoroki and a small smirk from Shinsou.
However, Todoroki took a moment to himself and smiled a little bit. “So it’s like that…” He seemed to get it now, even though he still planned on taking this game seriously.
Meanwhile…
Midoriya was running and trying desperately to look around for anyone that might have been around to tag. “I can’t believe we’re really playing this… though I suppose (Y/N) does have a point in that this can teach us to work on our evasion… I could be a little more discreet if I’m going to encounter a villain…” He mumbled to himself as he tried to analyze and think about where his classmates would be hiding or run off to.
He felt bad… but he wanted to view this seriously rather than just a fun little game even though it made him feel like a kid again when he played with you that one day.
“Deku!” However, he nearly screeched in total shock when Uraraka’s cheerful voice snapped him out of his thoughts and potential strategies he was making in his head. “U-Uraraka! H-Hey…” Did she not know that he was it?
“Did you get away from Bakugou? He didn’t try to hurt you did he…?” She asked, looking and sounding very concerned as Midoriya blushed and couldn’t find words that would sound coherent enough to the girl.
“I-I…”
Uraraka’s shocked gasp startled him, “Oh no! He did! What is this…?” She lightly reached for him to analyze burn mark on the back of his gym clothes, but stopped and gasped again in shock once she realized her terrible mistake… and Midoriya’s face was the look of shame, guilt and regret as he gently tapped her arm.
“T-Tag you’re it! SORRY URARAKA!” Izuku felt horrible as he took off running now that he unintentionally got his friend tagged.
“Ah!” But Uraraka wouldn’t hold it against Izuku, that’s just how the game worked! It was her fault for being careless… “T-That’s okay! That’s the game! But I won’t hold back if I see you!” She said to him as he ran off, but her tone was still understanding and rather enthusiastic.
It was so on now.
Aoyama was following the same trend as a few other students, hiding behind one of the many buildings provided by the Ground Beta. “If I stay hidden I can evade the rest…! Will be a shame though to not show off my sparkle~.” He told himself, completely oblivious to what was above him as Uraraka carefully lowered herself down, whispering ‘Release’! as she landed on her feet behind the blonde and put her hand on his back.
“Tag! You’re it!”
As soon as he was tagged, she ran away as fast as she could giggling at how the blonde screamed dramatically now that he was no longer safe. “AHH! Darn it!” He felt defeated for a moment, because now this just meant he had to go and find someone else to tag…
Somehow!
“Classmates! This is very distracting! Don’t play (L/N)’s games!” Iida shouted as he ran, looking back and forth for any of his classmates who were either hiding or running, but to his surprise none of them were stopping or getting out of hiding.
“I’m serious! We can’t be playing these foolish games like children! We are the students of UA and upcoming heroes!” He stopped for a moment while he kept looking for classmates and friends alike, oblivious to a rather surprised looking Aoyama.
He felt bad, but this was his opportunity to free himself from being tagged as the taller boy kept on ranting. “We have a reputation to uphold, which is why we shouldn’t be playing-“
“Tag! You’re it mon ami and I am now free~!” Aoyama snuck up behind the class rep, tapping him on the back and ran off, flashing him a wink before flipping his bangs to make sure he sparkled while he ran.
Iida… was gobsmacked as he froze with his jaw hanging open.
“I’m… I’m it?!” He exclaimed to himself, now at a loss and wondering what he should do. He was the class rep! He couldn’t succumb to these silly games you made! “IIDA’s It! He’s ‘IT-DA’!” He heard you shout, but you were nowhere to be seen and hearing the way you played his name on the word annoyed him.
“(L/N)!! Come out of hiding this instant and cease this game!” He gave you a stern order, but of course you didn’t take it.
“No way! I’m not gonna get tagged by you! Play with us Iida! Be the class rep and give us the opportunity to enjoy ourselves and practice our evasion skills!” You shouted back, and he grunted in annoyance as he tried to calm down and not get too frustrated with your disobedience. Sighing, he collected himself, so he wouldn’t look like a fool.
“Maybe she has a point…” The bespectacled teen thought outloud. It has been somewhat dull lately with the nonstop training and he could tell a few of his friends and classmates were getting a little bit stressed out and overworked. He supposed that a little bit of ‘fun’ would be good for the morale of his classmates, and being subtle WAS a good skill for a hero to learn. Even if it was in a game of tag.
“Very well then! Everyone, I am it! So I suggest all of you run and hide as fast as you can!” Iida sounded more enthusiastic as he used the engines in his calves for extra speed to find a couple of his classmates.
