✨ 30+F seeking others 25+ for a bit of an odd request. I've been watching the show Karneval on crunchyroll and now have an undying and desperate need to write some Gareki/Nai content. I would prefer to write Gareki (as a dom, and if interested, an alpha in an omegaverse setting). Please be warned this can venture into 🍪 territory with Nai and his innocene, but this can be adjusted! Typically I am a novella/advanced lit writer but I am willing to do something that is multipara in length just to satiate the need!
drop a like 💙 and I will reach out!
give a like and anon will get back to you

Pour Two Cups
The light of dawn through the kitchen window, illuminating empty cups and black ladles like question marks hanging over the sink and the esoteric metaphysics of the black coffee brewing in the pot. * Rustle of sheets and cackle coming from the bedroom. * What if there’s nothing else but the emptiness of nothingness. * Pour two cups and drink those and go. Be exactly there.    But…

Authorities are working on “all possible versions” regarding the murder in broad daylight of influential Bulgarian business figure Alexei Petrov while police are still researching the crime scene, media reported on Thursday.
“The version that the murder was ordered by people close to him has not been ruled out,” reported bTV channel.
In the meantime, MP Atanas Atanasov demanded a high-level meeting on national security following the murder.
On Wednesday, representatives of the Prosecution and the Ministry of Interior gave a briefing where they said that witnesses are being questioned but without giving any further update on the possible motive or type of weapon used.
Petrov was shot dead on Wednesday along with an as yet unidentified woman who is now confirmed to have survived the attack. They were in the presence of three bodyguards, walking around a forest route in Sofia’s Vitosha mountain, near Dragalevski neighbourhood where Petrov lived.
Bulgarian National Television reported on Thursday that Petrov was not expecting any danger and his security was behind him.
This is the latest killing of an influential figure with alleged criminal ties from the same generation. On May 25, Krassimir Kanev “Kyro”, along with three other people, was shot dead in his home in Cape Town, South Africa.
Some experts see a possible tie between the killings. Politicians and commentators have also adopted the phrase that Bulgaria is “returning to the 1990s” because of the increased attacks on organised crime figures, symptomatic of internal conflicts.
“The mobster years have never gone away,” commented Democratic Bulgaria MP Ivaylo Mirchev on Wednesday.
“Key figures who knew and remembered quite a lot are now going away,” investigative journalist Miroluba Benatova told Bulgarian National Radio on Thursday, adding: “Everyone is surprised by this murder. Such turnouts are not to be expected, especially when it concerns such an influential figure who has been through everything.”
Petrov, sometimes nicknamed “The Tractor” for his imposing character, was born in 1962. He graduated from the police academy in Pazardzhik in 1981 and worked as part of Bulgaria’s anti-terorrism unit during the last decade of the Communist regime as well as in the structures of the repressive state security apparatus, including as an undercover agent.
In the early 1990s, some members of the former police entered the private sector through insurance and security firms. Petrov was part of this trend. These firms are now often associated with organised crime, political influence and assassinations of other influential figures in the late-1890s and early-2000s.
There were previous assassination attempts against Petrov in 1998, 2002 and 2015, all ending without conclusive investigations.
“After the turbulent 1990s, Petrov underwent a metamorphosis, typical of many similar individuals in Eastern Europe in that transitional era. He began to gradually make his business more transparent, as well as entering official relations with state institutions,” wrote Capital Weekly newspaper.
It noted that Petrov was one of the supporters of future Sofia mayor, three-time Prime Minister and GERB party leader Boyko Borissov – who also developed businesses in security, was once a bodyguard to Communist leader Todor Zhivkov in the 1990s and in 1998 had shares in a firm along with Petrov.
Despite this connection, in 2010, Petrov was briefly arrested as part of a raid against an organised crime group, and in 2011 was investigated for bribery, corruption and extorsion among other charges. He denied wrongdoing, was later cleared and successfully counter-sued the state for 21 million euro in damages.
On February 17, in a TV interview, Borissov said he and Petrov “we were always opponents, although not enemies” and credited him with preventing a terrorist attack in Sofia in the mid-1980s without providing further details.
In 2011 Petrov founded the major insurance company Lev Ins.
Petrov was also a lecturer on national and cyber security at Sofia’s University of National and World Economy as well as at Plovdiv University. His rich biography includes positions such being the President of Bulgaria’s karate association.
In his most recent interviews, Petrov was critical of the current politics of GERB and was also in favour of the ousting of Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev, who was a subject of an attack in May.
Borissov has yet to comment on the murder.
Opponents of the current coalition, such as former GERB member and Interior Minister Tsvetan Tsvetanov and recent interim Interior Minister Ivan Demerdzhiev, noted in their first statements that Petrov was instrumental in the creation of the current cabinet, featuring two opposing blocks.

1,100-year-old breastplate to ward off evil may contain the oldest Cyrillic writing ever found
Live Science By Owen Jarus May 20, 2023 A 1,100 year-old inscription found on a breastplate unearthed in the ruins of a Bulgarian fortress may be one of the oldest Cyrillic texts ever found.  “The text was written on a lead plate worn on the chest to protect the wearer from trouble and evil,” said Ivailo Kanev, an archaeologist with Bulgaria’s National Museum who leads the team excavating the…

Today, only six out of a total of 17 Bulgarian MEPs supported the accession of the EU to the Istanbul Convention for the Prevention and Combating of Violence against Women.
Radan Kanev from "Democratic Bulgaria" and the European People's Party (EPP), three representatives from DPS and the liberal group "Renew Europe", as well as Sergey Stanishev and Elena Yoncheva from the Bulgarian Socialist Party and the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats (SiD) voted "for".
Only Angel Dzhambazki from IMRO and the group of European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) was against.
Asim Ademov, Alexander Yordanov and Andrey Novakov (GERB/EPP) abstained.
Andrey Kovachev, Eva Maydell and Emil Radev (GERB/EPP), Petar Vitanov, Tsvetelina Penkova and Ivaylo Hristov (BSP/SiD) and Andrey Slabakov (IMRO/ECR) did not participate in the vote.
The probable reason why all 10 of our MEPs do not support the accession of the EU to the Istanbul Convention is the fact that it has been declared unconstitutional in our country.
The vote
With today's vote, the European Parliament has ended its participation in the process.
Six years after the EU signed the Istanbul Convention, it still has not ratified it due to the refusal of 6 member states, including Bulgaria.
At the same time, the opinion of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) dated October 6, 2021 confirmed that the EU can ratify the Istanbul Convention without the consent of all member states.
The Court found that the appropriate scope for EU accession was asylum, judicial cooperation in criminal matters and the obligations of EU institutions and public administration. Accordingly, MEPs held two separate votes today.
Regarding EU institutions and public administration - with 472 votes "for", 62 "against" and 73 "abstentions";
Regarding judicial cooperation in criminal matters, asylum and non-refoulement - with 464 votes "for", 81 "against" and 45 "abstentions".
In both cases, the Bulgarian MEPs voted in the same way, it is clear from the check of the roll-call vote.
The accession of the EU to the Istanbul Convention does not release the member states from the obligation to ratify it themselves, the members of the EP have repeatedly stated.
Last week, sources from the European Commission told Bulgarian media "Club Z" that Bulgaria would have to comply with the Istanbul Convention, even if it had not signed it, if the EU ratified it.
The Istanbul Convention is yet to be approved by the member states (Council) of the EU. According to the Court's decision, this can be done not by unanimity, but by a qualified majority.

ITF W25 Nottingham (Apr 17) R1: Vlada Ekshibarova [Q] def. Danielle Daley 5-7, 7-6(5), 6-3 Match Recap
Tumblr media

Veteran Vlada Ekshibarova, whose career high ranking was 352 back in 2008, qualified for this week's ITF Nottingham main draw. She went on to face Danielle Daley, which match lasted 3 hours and 24 minutes in a tight fashion. However, each set had distinct flows.
Vlada initially started the first set with a working service game to hold 1-0 and so did D. Daley. However, poor shot choices was the reason behind Vlada got broken 2-1 (with unsuccessful constant slicing) and D. Daley had an erratic service game to be broken back, and this happened for the next 2 games. Although everybody held their serves for the subsequent 2, D. Daley broke back again at the expense of Vlada's forehand error, leaving the former the opportunity to serve for the first set for the first time.
Likely stemmed from tightness, D. Daley got broken back to 5-5 even if she tried to make Vlada move across the court, forcing the latter to err numerous times until the former broke again to 6-5. Rediscovering her serve at the end of the set, D. Daley took the first set 7-5.

However, the momentum could not be sustained to the second set. In contrary of the first set with 3 breaking games, the start of the second set and toward the end of rhe match were the only occasion the breaking games happened. D. Daley was aggressive here, hence she broke early to 1-0, but Vlada came back after absorbing her rhythm again.
For several occasions, both players could hold their serves. Somehow, even if D. Daley tried a deep point construction to start the ninth game (which ended with a smash), Vlada went erratic, hence the break to 5-4 and D. Daley had the opportunity to serve for the match. The situation was similar to the other sets with the latter being broken to 5-5 as another error-prone service game occurred. Just two games later, the tie-breaker was necessary.
D. Daley initially was ahead 5-2 since she brought Vlada off the balance, but her errors while being ahead did not help, turning the tables from there since thanks to Vlada's (suddenly) successful service game. This put pressure on D. Daley, when she double-faulted to precede a 33-shot rally that ended with Vlada's forehand winner from her deuce side of the court. As a result, Vlada took the second set 7-6(5).

In this match, the first six games of the third set determined the whole outcome. As Vlada steadily regained her serve thanks to digging deep while raising the momentum sustainability question, D. Daley started to crumble, which affected the continuation of the turnaround.
The momentum swing started after both held their service games to 1-1, where both Vlada and D. Daley engaged in another breaking game to 2-2. Being under pressure, D. Daley committed more errors in her next service game, where a spotted forehand error and double fault resulted in Vlada breaking to 3-2. The latter then consolidated her service games to 4-2, before breaking again since D. Daley started getting more passive, a result to her crumble from the start of the third set.
Two games later, Vlada should have served for the match, which at *5-2 30-30, D. Daley could come up with a forehand down-the-line winner as a gateway to break to 3-5 later on. The victory was delayed after just one game, since D. Daley double-faulted at 5-3* 30-30 before her forehand down-the-line saved one of the match points, where it was converted at the expense of her forehand error.
A clutch showing from Vlada despite this match being a rollercoaster on its own. However, she has to face eighth seed Elena Malygina in the next round, who defeated Kathleen Kanev in also a close match, 6-4, 6-7(5), 7-5. This should be an interesting match when two generations collide!

Bulgarian police have arrested 37 illegal immigrants at two locations in the capital Sofia in a crackdown following a deadly crash involving a bus carrying migrants last week.
Thirty-six of the people who were arrested are Syrian and one is from Morocco. They have been sent to refugee centres.
There have been a series of arrests across Bulgaria since the crash which saw the bus with Turkish plates hit a police car on August 25 near the city of Burgas in the south-east near the border with Turkey. The collision left two policemen dead.
The driver of the bus claimed to be Syrian and insisted he is 15 years old, but was carrying no documents or driver’s licence. The authorities are currently seeking details of his identity.
Between Saturday and Monday, a total of 141 Afghans with no documents were found by police hiding in villages near Burgas. Over 100 were discovered hiding in a bus with North Macedonia plates and a Macedonian driver.
A bus carrying 30 Afghan citizens also crashed in the western town of Godech on August 21, with the driver losing his life.
These incidents have revived public debate about border control corruption and trafficking routes, with politicians using heated rhetoric. Interim Interior Minister Ivan Dermendzhiev spoke about a “migrant war on Bulgaria” in his first comments after the August 25 crash.
Krassimir Kanev, chair of the human rights organisation Bulgarian Helsinki Committee, expressed concern about how the detained migrants will be treated.
“Similar government campaigns have happened before when the public opinion has been attracted by a certain topic and by nature, these situations usually reflect negatively on the human rights of the affected,” Kanev told BIRN.
“There is a high risk of human rights violations as this concerns people in a vulnerable position – they don’t know the language, they have no relatives who can account for them, they have no access to legal defence and can be exposed to physical violence by the police,” he added.
Kanev also expressed concern that if they are mistreated, the public will know nothing about it.
