“It hurts….” Amanda knows she’s whining. It hadn’t hurt when she made the choice to run into hell, to save people for once. Now it hurts. Karen is still passed out, clinging to her even in her comatose state. Worth it, she thinks hazily, so worth it. “It’s for your own good…” Lynn’s voice is gentle even as she sews the few small wounds, deep but barely opened, closed. Amanda winces, tightening her grip on Karen with her free arm, smiling just a little when Karen nestles closer. She’d do it all again to save her broken girl.

before you guys go back to simping for michael myers in halloween ends can we take a moment to admit that mask has to smell god awful 😭

there’s no indication michael would have incentive to take it off at any point if it wasn’t forcibly removed. that mask was burnt, thrown on the ground multiple times, and rotted. this isn’t even mentioning the blood from karen that splattered onto it or any other blood from his own injuries/others injuries OR the dirt and grime from his sewer den LOLL. it literally has cobwebs on it and shit.

that thing must’ve fucking REEKED. god speed to corey for going along and wearing it and laurie for not throwing it away.

A/N: Part 4/5 for this week of @soheavyaburden 's A Year of Whump.

“Valak, please…” Karen breathes the name, struggling to keep Allison on her feet. It’s been hours since they started running, now Allison’s body is finally giving up on them. Karen’s own legs feel like lead but Allison is the one most in danger. Amanda’s scream echoes into the night and Allison shudders even as Karen sends a prayer that it was Valak’s kill. Valak appears soon after, scooping them both into her arms and they are gone. They wake curled together in Valak’s old home, the Nunnery, Allison’s voice roughly husky. “Thank fuck for demonic nun wives.” Karen laughs softly, then smooths a hand at Valak’s cheek where she’s allowing herself to rest with them. “Indeed, thank fuck for our Valak.”
