hiyaa :) ask game so we can tag phan!! shuffle your favorite playlist and post the first five songs that come up + if you think they can be related to DnP or not. Copy/paste this ask to your favorite mutuals!!
Ok! Here’s list of the songs I found on my Liked Songs Spotify Playlist!
Your Eyes Tell-BTS
One of my favorites! Really gives off Phan vibes from the lyrics such as “A future without you is a world without colour, filled with monochrome coldness.” 😭😭 when I listen to the song and see the lyrics, it reminds me of how Phil was the first friend that Dan really trusted and how their relationship grew over the years. Brings tears to my eyes!
Teenage Dream-OSKI, Karsten Belt
An 80s version of Katy Perry’s song! Reminds me of how Dan met Phil when he was 18 and how Phil was basically his “teenage dream” lol (not sure how else to describe it 😭😂)
You’re Never Alone Uplifting Mix-Ciaran McAuley, Susie Ledge
One of my favorite trance songs (fun fact, my love for trance music is how I got my username) it reminds me of Dan and Phil’s coming out videos and their message that you are never alone in your journey and there will always be people out there to support you. (Brb gonna go cry now 😭)
Moon Bounce-Andross
Literally fits the vibe of DanandPhilGames! Also on an unrelated note, this song is nostalgic to me because it was used in a lot of Cartoon Network bumpers when I used to watch cartoons on there a lot! 😊 (favorite show was The Amazing World of Gumball 😂)
Sirius-The Alan Parsons Project
When I hear this song, I think of Dan and Phil preparing for one of their tour shows, whether it’s Tatinof, II, or WAD. Really sets the mood of the adrenaline and rush you feel, like when you’re anticipating the start of a sports game or concert.
These are just my own interpretations but if anyone else wants to add something too, they can!

All the way from the office building to where his truck was parked in the municipal parking garage, Kase had been on guard. His hand had been firmly in the middle of Rena’s back, his eyes scanning everything around them. Whoever had left that eye for Colin could still be around. While he had no doubt that Rakeovich was behind it, that didn’t mean he’d done it personally. Whoever had, they were psychotic. He wasn’t going to let someone like that anywhere near Rena. Hell, anyone even started towards her acting funny and he’d take them down at this point.
Once they got into the garage, his hand was on the butt of the gun till they got up to the level where he’d parked. He wasn’t going to take one chance right now. Finally they made it to the truck without incident, and Karsten opened the door to the truck and held his hands out to Serena, “give me the cooler, doc. Once you’re up in the truck, I’ll give it back to you.”
After she had her belt on, he handed her the cooler with all the evidence back. Closing the door, he hit the lock button on his fob then walked around the truck looking at everything. He even got down on his stomach to look under the truck to make sure nothing was mounted underneath. At this point he put nothing past Rakeovich and the doc was the last person he’d take a chance of getting hurt in all this bullshit.
There was no missing that Karsten was on guard, not that Rena blamed him. There was something comforting about his demeanor. Even with all that had happened that morning, she felt safe with him and knew he wasn’t even taking the slightest chance. She wasn’t sure that either of them would breathe easy till this day was over, and maybe not even then. Even after this had all been handled, Constantin was still out there and still had some young girl hostage. He was a monster.
She’d been glad for the help with the evidence when getting into the truck. She wasn’t exactly short, but it was a good step up into it. But when Karsten locked her in the truck, Serena had a moment of panic. Had he seen something? He hadn’t said anything before hitting the lock button and that worried her. His head bobbed in and out of her view till he finally unlocked his door and was in the driver’s seat, immediately locking the door again.
“Everything okay?” She tried not to sound as nervous as she felt. Karsten was a good cop, but he seemed more on edge than Serena ever saw him before. She trusted him, which meant she also trusted his gut if he felt something was wrong.
Kase looked over at her and sighed, he was scaring her and it seemed for no reason. “No, but I don’t trust Rakeovich and whoever he got to do that little delivery you’re carrying. I’d rather be overly cautious than to assume he wouldn’t try something else.” He reached over and took her hand in his, letting his thumb move across the back of her hand. “I’m not going to let anything happen to you Rena.” She got a tight smile and a wink before he let go of her hand and fired up the engine. Time to get to the morgue and find out what more Rena could tell them all.
“You know, I haven’t seen you at Mulligan’s lately.” Kase tried to change the subject once he’d pulled out onto the city streets. Distraction time.
“That’s because I haven’t been there. I’ve been down at Kelleher’s.” Rena looked down at the cooler in her lap. Karsten had to know why. She was sure there was also a reason he pointed it out.
He glanced over at her, his expression one of resignation to what she was saying. She was hanging out with the glow bugs, not the cops. It didn’t take a genius to figure out why. “You know that you’re missed, right? Rena, you’re one of us, no matter what happened in the past.” There was another reason he missed her, but this wasn’t the time.
Raising her head, she looked over at Karsten. “I miss you guys too. Every time I have started to go, it’s just felt weird. Memories and stuff, I always end up changing directions and hanging out with the Keegan’s boys.” Her eyes fell for a minute, a soft sigh escaping her slightly parted lips. “It’s just hard.”
Keeping his eyes on the road, Karsten reached over and took her hand again. “I know, Rena. Maybe if you had someone to walk in with. You know you don’t have to walk in alone. Declan and I would really love to have you back.” His partner might tease him about his feelings for Rena, but he liked her too. Some days Kase thought Declan liked her more than he liked him.
A small smile started to form on her face, Karsten and his partner had been two that she and her ex had always hung out with. “I know. I kind of baled on you guys. It’s still hard, Karsten. Rob ghosting me like that, when all of you knew he was leaving. It still just…” she sighed, “yeah.” He ex had decided to work elsewhere and his squad knew, but he hadn’t told her. He’d just disappeared one day with no word and no way to reach him. All of the others in his squad were shocked to hear what he’d done, but that didn’t make it any easier. It was one of those “we thought you knew too” situations.
He wanted to growl and hit something. Months later and he still wanted to find Rob and beat his ass into the ground for doing Rena like that. Worse, he’d made it look like they’d all been keeping it from her on purpose. No one had mentioned it because they were sure that it would be a sore subject and no one wanted to upset her. In the end, it just looked like they’d all covered his trail. Karsten knew Rena knew better, but the fact she hadn’t been back to Mulligan’s made it feel otherwise. He and Declan weren’t the only ones that missed having her around.
The light turned red ahead of them and he turned more to face her when they stopped. “Rena, if I’d known you had no clue, I would have told you. Dec would have too. We wouldn’t do you like that.” His hand left hers to gently hold her face. “Beautiful, I would never hurt you.” Karsten sighed, he wanted to help her forget and move on, but didn’t know if she’d let him. Not exactly like this was the best time for the conversation they were having, but would there ever be one?

The team performed 30 successful aircraft operations, ranging from taxi maneuvers to acceleration and deceleration tests with maximum braking in repairs to show the carpet survival requirement under real-world aircraft loads.
The belt system and anchoring technologies are used ?? as part of the U.S. Air Force Rapid Damage Recovery, or RADR, concept of the U.S. Air Force to quickly recover airfields after wartime damage.
“This cooperative testing program has been in coordination for several years and began during an international airfield conference held in Panama City, Florida, where the United States hosted countries around the world to discuss airfield repairs,” said Craig Mellerski, Requirements at AFCEC, Head of the Research and Development and Acquisition Division.
“To expand our experience in using FRP for airfield damage repair, we needed to put a current aircraft on it and we wanted to use it in the large crater configuration, which was a critical aspect of the test,” said Karsten Lipiec, Manager of the AFCEC Pavement Research program. “Previous experiments included live aircraft testing in alternative configurations. This test has successfully demonstrated the use of FRP repair technology for a larger type of repair.”
The installation speed of the FRP kit is critical. For example, an experienced team can lock the panels, install the anchors and prepare the surface for aircraft traffic in less than two hours, allowing flight operations to take off and resume,” the sergeant said. Jared Swan, a Silver Flag instructor from the 435th Construction and Training Squadron at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, and a member of the team that conducted the Israeli training.

so firefox half-crashed and ate my 19th anni post halfway through, so here are some actually half coherent comments
short version: disappointed enough in results and angle choices that i’m kinda regrettinb buying tickets to carat because i worry this is permanently disillusioning
jay vs andy is gonna be fun, but i hate that it’s at the expense of avalanche, who never really got a real good feud out of it
also: remember when we had singles title matches? like, more than one a show?
walter being face outta nowhere is minorly annoying but not really because they have to work really hard to make people boo him anyway
also who didn’t want him to fuck up the pretty bastards?
i have no idea what leon or julian said tho since wxw decided to not subtitle stuff
someone should tell wxw the constant womens’ 3 and 4 ways really call attention to their shallow womens roster
baby allison has improved; she mighta gone a little overboard on the licking but this was a good showing from her
but like, this could have been a #1 contender match?
ok i’m gonna admit i skipped the hall of fame induction., sorry. apparently robbie pretty rapidly skipped back and forth between german and english, and i doubt wxw bothered to sub it anyway, so whatever.
the singapore cane match was so good until they shoved kelly into it - there was really no reason to acknowledge that she and AJ are together, and shoving her into an eye-rolling ~girlfriend~ role brings nothing to the story except to hear AJ talk about her like an object he lost afterwards
and the fact that they’re using it to write kelly off for a while? despicable. you build up someone, have them succeed, and then have her leave because her boyfriend is a jerk? really?
like, i want to be excited for the barbed wire match, but how can i trust some other bullshit won’t happen?
also tbh as much as i like Aj and jurn feuding, i kinda hate jurn being like, invincible even in defeat. like, he’s not even mad anymore really
i wish amale’s singles title matches felt more...competitive? this was just like, meiko owning her and then out of nowhere at the end, championsmaker. and i’m sorry, but i’m not sold on that being a death finisher. i wish they had just stuck with her winning by clever/jerk bullshit
i can’t even talk about that shit with karsten afterwards - i stopped watching.
i bet melanie isn’t gonna take the title off amale until carat but i hope i’m wrong
i probablyshould watch the kassius/lucky match, but i kinda don’t care? i like both guys, and i’m sure it was good, but...whatever
don’t fucking get me started on angel tim thatcher losing his belt after only two months in a fucking 3 way turned 4 way because lol ilja
or, i guess i should say, lol bobby

The Jivaro: Karsten (1926:323) “found that their principal mode of tobacco consumption is in liquid form; “the leaves are boiled in water or chewed in the mouth and mixed with saliva. The latter is believed to enhance the magical effect of the liquid.” Tobacco juice is taken prophylactically against general symptoms of indisposition, colds, or chills, and therepeutically against snakebites. It also serves magical and ceremonial purposes. Men drink tobacco in the context of initiation, vision quests, war preparations, victory feasts, and witchcraft. Women drink or sniff the fluid during elaborate initiation and nuptial rituals. Shamans drink or sniff the fluid from the hollow of their hands (Farabee 1922:119) or from special pottery cups, and initiates blow it into each other’s nose (Stirling 1938:118). Novices have their mentors squirt pathogenic “arrows” together with tobacco juice and saliva directly into their mouths (Karsten 1955a:170-77). On certain occasions such as during curing séances Jivaro men drink tobacco juice alternately with ayahuasca (Banisteriopsis caapi) and, possibly, maikua (Brugmansia sp.) (Lockwood 1979:150).”
‘Chewing and snuffing of tobacco products are methods found with almost equal frequency among South American Indians, the former occurring in fity-six and the latter in fifty-three cases. Tobacco chewing is of widespread and scattered distribution, mainly from the Gran Chaco in a belt along western Amazonia and extending beyond into the Colombian Andes, the Caribbean, and the Northwest coast of North America. This distribution pattern is taken among other criteria by Zerries as indicative of the great antiquity of this method. Also Sauer considered chewing and drinking as possibly the oldest methods of tobacco use. Although proof will be hard to find, one tends to agree with their suggestions mainly because of the naturalness of both forms of ingestion.
“From the time of the first experiments by Posselt and Reimann (1828-29), nicotine has been recognized as one of the more toxic botanical substances in nature. One or two drops, or the equivalent of 60-120 mg, of the substance placed on the tongue or the skin are said to kill a man. Thus, the quantity of nicotine contained in an ordinary cigar—if it were extracted and injected internally—would prove lethal for two full-grown humans (Mendenhall 1930:57; Larson, Haag, and Silvette 1961).”
“Estimates are that in smoking, up to 50 percent of nicotine contained in the tobacco enters into the mainstream smoke (Pyriki in Lickint 1939; Schievelbein 1962:215) and that 65 percent to 95 percent of this is absorbed into the body.”
“With nicotine concentrations in excess of 18 percent, cigars of this tobacco species [N. Rustica] are strong enough to produce hallucinations and catatonia (Siegel, Collings, and Díaz 1977:22) and stand unrivaled in the world.”
“Considering that under traditional circumstances the use of tobacco was restricted to shamans and, furthermore, that even in modern Indian societies with secularized tobacco use, women and children are often little habituated to nicotine or not at all…”

PING Apparel introduces SS19 performance collection
Continuing to strengthen the brand’s commitment to helping golfers look and play their best with premium clothing that elevates feel and on-course performance, PING Apparel unveiled its SS19 collection. The new line is designed and engineered using cutting-edge fabrics, with select polos and mid-layers featuring a new, more luxurious cotton blend -- Sensorcool Cotton. The men’s apparel is available in select golf shops now.
“We are extremely excited about the launch of our Sensorcool Cotton program,” said Andy Solheim, PING Executive Vice President. “We have worked with our partners at CoolMax to develop a cotton/poly yarn that offers a luxurious cotton feel while also delivering superior moisture management, quick-dry comfort and a stretch benefit that ensures full range of motion.”
The collection stays true to PING’s design language of Considered, Clean, Timeless, Tailored and Authentically Cool and combines this with its Sensor Technology platform of SensorWarm, SensorCool, and SensorDry. Still integral are PING’s technology partners Tekfit® (waistband stretch), Coolmax® (thermoregulation), Primaloft® (warmth, breathability), Pertex® (wind and water protection) and Zegna Baruffa® fine Italian Merino wool.
“We love the phrase ‘Engineered to Play’ as every piece of clothing needs to be performance driven to help the player,” Solheim said. “Fashion, color and detail are very important but the design and performance of our apparel must mirror the same ethos we bring to the design of our golf clubs.”
Sensorcool Cotton The Karsten III and Raymond polos, the Practice Tee, and Herman mid-layer all feature Sensorcool Cotton, which is blended with technologically advanced Coolmax fabric to deliver exceptional softness and comfort. Coolmax fibers transport moisture away from the body. Stretch properties and detailing deliver soft-touch, cotton performance.
Key Mid Layers The Vermillion and Fracture are year-round performers. A half-zip, soft-touch windproof and water-resistant stretch top, the Vermillion is a versatile go-to. And for cooler spring and summer golf, the ultra-lightweight Fracture offers an appealing yarn-dyed gradient effect, plus moisture-moving and stretch qualities.
Players Pant A new five-pocket performance trouser, the Players Pant is designed with a slimmer-fit leg and engineered with four-way stretch throughout for complete freedom of movement for optimum comfort and playability.
The SS19 collection is inspired by the rich colors and brilliant, towering red-rock mountainous landscapes of the town of Sedona in PING’s long-time home state of Arizona. Its natural gradients of red and orange, gold sunsets and blue skies informed these three color stories for SS19:
Sedona Sunrise -- Deep Water Focused on key colors deep water and highlight shade sunshine yellow. Can be combined with a pop of yellow to create impactful outfit combinations when mixed with lighter greys, minerals and navy. This fresh seasonal pallet works across both winter and sun belt territories.
Sedona Sunrise -- Sky Azure Key colors are sky azure and fresh water. Sky azure emerges as a key color trend, updating imperial blue with a lighter, more vibrant shade. Fresh water creates a cool tonal color within stripes and marls. A sky azure gradient jacquard in mid-layers and polos creates active statement pieces that complement mainstays such as navy, asphalt and ash.
Sedona Sunrise -- Iron Red The Iron Red story is focused on iron red and deep-sea coral. Gradient jacquards in iron red are inspired by Sedona’s natural rock formations. These rich shades work beautifully together in heather and feeder-striped shirts. Classic in style with broad consumer appeal, they provide an impact when paired with black, asphalt and pearl grey.

General Motors spins up global supply chain to make 50,000 face masks a day
GM today announced manufacturing details around building much-needed medical face masks. According to the company’s press release, it took the company less than seven days to go from nothing to producing the first production-made mask. The automotive giant said today in a released statement it expects to deliver 20,000 masks on April 8 and soon after, able to produce 50,000 masks a day once the production line is at full capacity.
These face masks are a vital piece of personal protective equipment (PPE) used by front-line healthcare staff to protect themselves against the virus-causing droplets that are spread by patients through coughing and sneezing in clinical settings.
GM turned to global partners to create this manufacturing line within a week. The company sourced material from GM’s existing supply chain and acquired manufacturing equipment from JR Automation in Holland, Michigan, and Esys Automation in Auburn Hills, Michigan. As the company’s press release says, GM even created an ISO Class 8-equivalent cleanroom in GM’s Warren manufacturing plant. GM and the UAW will seek two dozen volunteers to staff this new assembly line.
“The first people we called were those who work with fabric vehicle components,” said Karsten Garbe, GM plant director, Global Pre-Production Operations. “In a few days, the company’s seat belt and interior trim experts became experts in manufacturing face masks.”
While this team was creating a face mask assembly line, others within GM were working towards creating ventilators. Last Friday, March 27, President Donald Trump signed a presidential directive ordering GM to produce ventilators and to prioritize federal contracts. This came hours after the automaker announced plans to manufacture the critical medical equipment needed for patients suffering from COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus.
Other automakers joined the fight, as well. Ford and GE Healthcare licensed a ventilator design from Airon Corp and plan to produce as many as 50,000 of them at a Michigan factory by July as part of a broader effort to provide a critical medical device used to treat people with COVID-19. Under this partnership, Ford said it expects to produce 1,500 Airon ventilators by the end of April, 12,00 by the end of May, and 50,000 by July.
