Had a dream that was a semi-modern (like still the 90s) Casper au where the Ghostly Trio were kicked out of Whipstaff as little kids and where shuffled around to relatives in different parts of the country. I think their parents got sick of them/"Did it for their own good" and kept their youngest (Casper's Dad) in Maine.

Flash forward over 30 years and the bros are forced to return to Maine upon the deaths of their parents - and the sudden disappearance of their youngest brother + abandonment of his small child.

Now you got three jerks who've havent been home in decades, forced to lie and cheat to survive, barely a social skill between them; suddenly having the responsibilities of a mansion and a toddler that they've never met.

Destinct details I remember from the au dream:

1. Stretch spent most of his formative years in New York hanging out with new money types. Spending that Gatsby money.

Stinkie worked on a farm in the Southwest for a long time. Learned Spanish as a second language there.

Fatso was an actor, and was encouraged by one of the relatives who took them in.

I think(?) Dr Harvey and Kat were alive - or were undead/monsters pretending to be human. Stretch lets them move in cus the Trio are forced to rent out rooms in Whipstaff to cover the expenses. Cue a mostly-free in-house therapist.

Casper was best boy, as per normal.

A Grim Reaper showed up to collect Casper at one point but "Let him stay". 0_0

Anyway now its another AU starting to consume me

I sort of have new names for some Casper characters. I think I have established them, but I'd like to do it again. Just to be clear.

Stinkie is now Rot

Fatso is now Big Fella

And

HotStuff is Inferno.

I'd say they still go by their other names, but hey. Sometimes, having a new name be used is nice.

Anyway, I'd like to feed into my new obsession with some more concepts and junk.

-The desire for living comes and goes for Casper. Not that it's a bad thing when it leaves, yet nowadays? He sometimes gets too wrapped up in these thoughts that these feelings manifest in his corporeal form.

He can't even begin to realize it, but when he feels older. His form looks as such and vice versa. Sometimes, it can be a drag, so to not think about living is preferable.

-Ghosts do have a reflection, believe it or not. But it's so misshapen and blurred that it's almost impossible to take a good look at who they've become. Must be a bummer if a narcissist dies.

-As family relationships go, the one who does hang out with Casper the most would be Big Fella (Fatso). Second to them is Rot (Stinkie), and lastly, Stretch.

Stretch is really set on being slightly distant with Casper, but he himself doesn't know why. All he's aware of is that Casper makes him feel regretful. It's a package he doesn't want to unpack. Ever. So no one should try to attempt or there will be consequences.

-Dr. Harvey works more as a regular therapist in the daytime but does offer services to other individuals that are... quite frankly spooky creatures of the night. And maybe it's his calming nature that attracts them, but a lot of monsters do appreciate his help. So much so that he's been paid really well for giving many peace.

-Both Kat and Dr. Harvey aren’t so scared of the ghosts in their home now that some time has past. So to be spooked by them is proving to be a challenge. Most of which the ghostly trio were working on, but then stopped just cause spooking is meant to be fun. Not feel like work. They made it work and now it’s not even entertaining!

-I’d say it’s very rare, but Casper can be a real nasty fella as he can spit a real mean booger out. Having it stick for a good while. Again. He doesn’t do it, but he can do it. It’s something that his uncles would be so happy to see. They absolutely love to see Casper being a little brat and mischievous little thing.

Dang I’m really running out of ideas to write about :p

Headcanons

•Stinkie has a Nintendo Switch he found and repaired, he plays Animal Crossing on it has the ugliest island you could imagine.

•Fatso watches RuPaul drag race on the Harvey's Netflix account.

•Stinkie knows how to repair electronic stuff.

•Stretch doesn't know how to play Uno.

•Kat ended up referring to the trio as her uncles.

•When Casper gets a turn on the TV, which is probably once in a long while, he likes to watch cartoons and TV contests were people fall

•Out of the trio, the most social one is Fatso, followed by Stretch and lastly Stinkie

•Stinkie has difficulty interacting with other ghosts, or even with the Harveys, so he often stays quiet, but once he starts adding to the conversation, he doesn't stop.

•During spring and summer, the trio would go fishing and bring Casper along because "he's obligated to", but in reality they just like teaching him how to fish and they love bragging about the fishes the caught. Casper always returns the fishes to the water shortly after getting them.

•Fatso is the only one out the trio who knows how to cook and bake, and as a human, he used to have a recipe book.

•Kat didn't learn a single thing from the Spanish song Stinkie sang in that one episode of the cartoon.

•Talking about languages, Stinkie is multilingual due to all the time he spends on the internet interacting with strangers.

•Stretch hates it when Stinkie brings home animals from the dumpster such as rats, raccoons, possums or skunks.

Eddie Brock X Venom from any comic or adaptation of Spiderman or just Venom. Not only have I always found Venom HOT as fuck, finding out years ago that unlike the Sam Raimi movies Venom actually is not a parasite inside Eddie's body possessing him or just a mean to make him stronger with no personality but on the contrary work together and CHOOSE to and little by little learned to know each other, Eddie see Venom as more than just a weapon and Venom see Eddie as more than just a vessel to survive on Earth and eventually CANONICALLY fall in in love in the comics with sweet pet names and even going as far as having children together and feeling empty and lost when separated desperately needing to be together like addicted to each other (which isn't super healthy and Venom can be harsh and violent at times, but eh, fiction and alien) was the death of me

56. Anthro and human/furry

Hello Nurse from Animaniacs X Wile E. Coyote from the Looney Tunes. A crossover ship but I HC/it's heavily hinted both take place in the same world at the Warner studios so it's not impossible. I had already explained in a post some weeks ago why I ship it, and the fact he is anthro does not feel like a problem in that kind of wacky universe. As I said, there would be a lot of sapiosexuality involved, she being glad for once someone is interested in her brain rather than her bra size and him glad to see someone finally as much of a genius as himself due to his ego, as well as often needing to put him back together with lots of bandages at the Warner Studios which must have helped bonding. I can imagine them having dates that solely consist of solving equations

57. Undead (ghosts, vampires etc) and human/kinda necro but not that much

Stretch X Kat when she will be an adult from Casper. Yes it's probably the first time I speak of it here on Tumblr but ever since I've watched this movie and episodes of the show at age 13 or 14 I FELT there was potential. Of course nothing for now because she is just 13 so THANK GOD, but they both are headstrong, she was the very first person to argue back and often do instead of being scared of him proving they are just as stubborn as each other and Stretch loves to troll her in particular... I feel like that once she'll be grown it'll be he kind of angryfuck relationship I like in fiction (even if I don't think there will be actual fuck since, well, he is a ghost who passes through things and has no wiener lmao). In fact there is an excellent fanfic I had read back then and it's very good and is very similar if not straight up my headcanon for them, I recommend it it's War on Fanfiction.net and it helped me solidify my feelings about it
