Reaper War - Normandy Roles
Because of the nature of the Reaper War and the fact that the Normandy had a significant number of highly-skilled combatants present on-board, Katrina put the most effort she could into utilizing her crew to the best of their abilities. As they took on each mission, Katrina organized all of her combatants into ground teams designed to assist those they were assaulting; whenever they went groundside, things were an all hands on deck situation.
The main ground team, known as Team Kodiak, was always Katrina plus two squadmates. The rest of the teams were Team Mako and Team Hammerhead. This is where the origin of the team names in the Citadel Archives mission came from. The additional ground teams were smaller teams of two, sometimes three combatants depending on the mission.
Team Mako was the main heavy infantry team, designed to help push Reaper, Cerberus, or Geth forces back at key points, as well as reinforce fronts as they landed on each world. Generally, Kat left this expertise to heavier combatants, such as Ashley, Garrus, Kaidan, and James. At all times, one of these three was always part of Team Mako. Leadership changed hands depending on the nature of the reinforcement and the notable skillsets of whomever else was assigned to Team Mako.
Team Hammerhead is the Normandy's recon and tactical assault team. Common members included EDI, Tali, Ashley, Kaidan, and Liara. In some instances, Team Hammerhead may have been accompanied by Cortez, as he is ground-combat capable with engineering skills (he's seen in armour during the Citadel Archives assault). Team Hammerhead's job was designed to infiltrate and provide reconnaissance for those they were assisting.
Katrina knew the Reaper War was going to be an all-hands-on-deck situation. At the height of the war, she needed everyone to be on deck and ready for combat. During their assaults, Team Normandy was referred to the Normandy itself, primarily led by Joker (and additionally EDI, while her ground unit was generally assisting Team Kodiak with Shepard or Team Hammerhead). Team Normandy's job was air and fire support, as well as the occasional extraction on behalf of the forces they were assisting.

one wrestler i've been trying to watch more of this year, and really her genre in general is stephanie vaquer from CMLL, after her great performance against mercedes mone eariler this year recently i've been catching up on missed matches and shows which got me around to watching njpw strong resurgence from eariler this year.
BEST OF BLUE RANKINGS for some matches.
NJPW STRONG Women's Title Tournament Semi Final Match
Mercedes Mone vs. Stephanie Vaquer - 4 stars
NJPW STRONG Women's Title Tournament Semi Final Match
Willow Nightingale vs. Momo Kohgo - 3.75 stars
Street Fight
Fred Rosser vs. Juice Robinson - 3.75 stars
Six Man Tag Team Match
CHAOS (Kazuchika Okada, Rocky Romero & Tomohiro Ishii) vs. Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley & Wheeler Yuta) & Shota Umino 4.25 stars
NJPW STRONG Women's Title Tournament Final Match
Mercedes Mone vs. Willow Nightingale - 4 stars
Mone vs Willow would have been higher had not Mercedes ankle broke, they were having a REAL damn good match, what a shame.
I also watched a match between Vaquer and formerly Katrina Cortez or some may remember her as the random lucha girl that showed up with Sin Cara a few years ago on Raw, now known as La Catalina.
CMLL Martes De Arena Mexico 11/07/23
Stephanie Vaquer vs. La Catalina - 3.5 stars
a short but very impressive match for Vaquer carrying the clearly more green Catalina, this match is fine but it does get on my list, and gets an extra .25 stars to boost it too the 3.5 due to an incredibly good dragon screw from Vaquer, I think dragon screws are one of my favourite moves.
I reccomend people to go out their comfort zone and look at some stuff they might not, i'm enjoying this Lucha looks.

At Praise Fest in New Orleans, Spreading the Gospel Through Song and Community
The skies were black when Zacardi Cortez 37, the final performance of the festival was on the stage in the center. Mr. Cortez, whose album "The Introduction" placed No. second on the Billboard magazine top gospel albums chart, shined under the bright spotlights on the stage. One of his songs in his own version, a song he wrote himself called "Praise You," was inspired by funk music from two heroes, Prince and James Brown. His set was a spin to "You've Been Good to Me," slow and beautiful song that praised his faith.
"Mr. Cortez wrote the song just a few months after spending time in prison. "God just had to get in touch with me. He needed to put in my chair for just a time and teach me a few things. Many wonderful events were born from this," Mr. Cortez declared. "I'm so glad that I got to a place where I'll never have to go through those situations again, because God has changed some things, turned some things around."
Bishop Warner, the organizer was on hand when Ms. Cortez closed the festival. Praise Fest was successful, he noted attracted around 2,000 people. Every year, the goal is to give New Orleans a little hope regardless of how difficult the situation. That's the essence of gospel music and it's an ingredient that keeps the spirits up.
"Let's say in a couple years, we're going to have another event like this," Bishop Warner said in reference to Katrina which claimed the lives of more than 1 800 people. "Man you must live your life to the fullest otherwise you'll end up in this and think you're going to do everything to escape, but you'll be killed in the process.
"You got to keep moving."

“Talking About New Orleans,” Jayne Cortez
Talking about New Orleans
About deforestation & the flood of vodun paraphernalia
the Congo line losing its Congo
the funeral bands losing their funding
the killer winds humming intertribal warfare hums into
two storm-surges
touching down tonguing the ground
three thousand times in a circle of grief
four thousand times on a levee of lips
five thousand times between a fema of fangs
everything fiendish, fetid, funky, swollen, overheated
and splashed with blood & guts & drops of urinated gin
in syncopation with me
riding through on a refrigerator covered with
asphalt chips with pieces of ragtime music charts
torn photo mug shots & pulverized turtle shells from Biloxi
me bumping against a million-dollar oil rig
me in a ghost town floating on a river on top of a river
me with a hundred ton of crab legs
and no evacuation plan
me in a battered tree barking & howling with abandoned dogs
my cheeks stained with dried suicide kisses
my isolation rising with a rainbow of human corpse &
fecal rat bones
where is that fire chief in his big hat
where are the fucking pumps
the rescue boats
& the famous coalition of bullhorns calling out names
hey I want my red life jacket now
& I need some sacred sandbags
some fix-the-levee-powder
some blood-pressure-support-juice
some get-it-together-dust
some lucky-rooftop-charms &
some magic-helicopter-blades
I'm not prepared
to live on the bottom of the water like Oshun
I don't have a house built on stilts
I can't cross the sea like Olokun
I'm not equipped to walk on water like Marie Laveau
or swim away from a Titanic situation like Mr. Shine
Send in those paddling engineers
I'm inside of my insides
& I need to distinguish
between the nightmare, the mirage,
the dream and the hallucination
Give me statistics
how many residents died while waiting
how many drowned
how many suffocated
how many were dehydrated
how many were separated
how many are missing
how many had babies
and anyway
who's in charge of this confusion
this gulf coast engulfment
this displacement
this superdome shelter
this stench of stank
this demolition order
this crowded convention center chaos
making me crave solitary confinement
Am I on my own
exhausted from fighting racist policies
exhausted from fighting off sex offenders
exhausted from fighting for cots for tents for trailers
for a way out of this anxiety this fear this emptiness
this avoidance this unequal opportunity world of
disappointments accumulating in my undocumented eye
of no return tickets
Is this freedom is this global warming is this the new identity
me riding on a refrigerator through contaminated debris
talking to no one in particular
about a storm that became a hurricane
& a hurricane that got violent and started
eyeballing & whistling & stretching toward
a category three domination that caught me in
the numbness of my own consciousness
unprepared, unprotected and
made more vulnerable to destabilization
by the corporate installation of human greed, human poverty
human invention of racism & human neglect of the environment
I mean even Buddy Bolden came back to say
move to higher ground
because a hurricane will not
rearrange its creativity for you
& the river will meet the ocean in
the lake of your flesh again
so move to higher ground
and let your jungle find its new defense
let the smell of your wisdom restore the power of pure air
& let your intoxicated shoreline rumble above & beyond the
water-marks of disaster
I'm speaking of New Orleans of deportation
of belching bulldozers of poisonous snakes
of bruised bodies of instability and madness
mechanism of indifference and process of elimination
I'm talking about transformation about death re-entering life with
Bonne chance, bon ton roulé, bonjour & bonne vie in New Orleans, bon

Scarlett, Ember Moon, Franky Monet, Oney Lorcan, B-Fab, Trey Baxter, Katrina Cortez, Jeet Rama, Gran Metalik, Karrion Kross, Lince Dorado, Keith Lee, Nia Jax, Harry Smith, Mia Yim, Eva Marie, Zayda Ramier, are all released.
Ember, Keith, Kross, and Mia are all big shockers to me.
Zayda aswell is someone I thought that was really solid, a future star.
Even if I totally dislike Eva and Nia, getting released during the christmas period and when they announce record profit it’s still cringe.
Sad stuff.
