a kiss on the lips, the girl gives him as her eyes slowly begin to close. Her body feels exhausted, her energy all but drained in an effort to keep him safe. A chilling wind can be felt as her temperature starts to lower, the rain pouring down on them.

𝐼𝒯'𝒮 𝒜𝐿𝐿 𝐿𝐼𝒫 𝒮𝐸𝑅𝒱𝐼𝒞𝐸

Miroku had rushed back towards the group, utterly covered in fresh blood and sweat from how fast he had run. He was absolutely out of it, cradling Inuyasha’s limp, unconscious form in his shaking arms, chest heaving. Inuyasha’s chest was badly damaged, in fact, Tessaiga’s broken top half was embedded into his chest -- as though it had been thrown into his body with impressive force.

Sango did her best to calm Miroku down, asking what had happened whilst she and Kagome took the unconscious, bleeding -- dying -- Inuyasha from him. Miroku was still unsettled, clearly shaken and distraught, but trying to calm ; something about a powerful demon, not Naraku , blonde hair, red eyes, a drawled, deep yet powerful voice--

All Miroku implored was for them all to do what they could to save Inuyasha’s life; his body was trying to heal, but whatever that blonde bastard had done was impeding that process and slowing it, which was only making Inuyasha’s loss of blood all the worse. Bits of Miroku’s inner robe were torn where he had tried to slow the bleeding, bandage what he could.

It took quite some time, to fully get that bleeding under control ; to take the upper portion of Tessaiga’s broken true fang out of Inuyasha’s chest without farther damaging him. Heavy clouds had rolled in, as though chasing Miroku from that horrid spot where everything had gone awry. Sango and Kagome tried to get more info out of Miroku while working away on those injuries ; he, even now, an hour or two later, was still out of sorts but getting himself pulled together.

‘ Kazama ’ is what Miroku had heard ; although he’d had a rough time of it due to the shock of everything that had been happening at the time. He’d almost missed it, in fact -- but maybe this Kazama had wanted Miroku to know his name.

Those blood-soaked handmade cloths were gathered up by Sango and Miroku, carrying them in basins to go grab cleaner water for Inuyasha. Kagome, meanwhile, stayed behind, as that rain finally began to fall.

She sat there, Inuyasha’s head leaned against her lap ; he hadn’t woken, not once. Not stirred ; he was so deathly still. If it weren’t for the way his laboured breathing left his lips -- she had leaned forward, arms moving to almost desperately, pleading hold him. Kagome bent down more,

and Inuyasha, just barely, within the dregs of that darkness, felt a warmth envelop his body and his soul, as though something within him were reacting to Kagome’s touch. To her soul, and the way her lips found his own. His brows furrowed slightly, but otherwise, he still didn’t wake --- and that rain, it poured over them both, as his demonic blood stirred, moved along with Kagome’s desire and her prayers, and began to increase his own healing ability.

That wound no long bled, it would begin to mend just barely -- still a few days off healing in full ; though a terrible jagged, slightly darkened scar would adorn Inuyasha’s chest for probably the rest of his life.

KAZAMA & SCARS.

Kazama HAS VERY DISTINCTIVE SCARRING on his body; more recently, ALONG HIS LEFT EYE, WHICH IS PERMANENTLY SCARRED OVER AND USELESS. He hides this behind an eye-patch. It’s taken him some time, but he’s adjusted to no longer having sight in both eyes; what he lacks in sheer visuals, Kazama makes up for with enhanced senses and reflexes. Not perfect, mind, but he seems more attuned to others’ energies ( be those magical, demonic, etc ) and can react in kind.

The other distinctive scarring that Kazama has is a PERFECT RING AROUND HIS NECK, AS THOUGH SOMETHING HAD PUSHED INTO HIS FLESH THAT HE TRIED TO FORCE OFF. This is due to him attempting ( & succeeding ) to remove the subjugation beads shortly after the death of his versions of Kagome, Shippou, Sango, Miroku and Elder Kaede. Alongside those, Kazama also has SCARRING ALONG THE MIDDLE OF BOTH HIS PALMS, no doubt also from gripping those beads and tearing them off despite how they burned at him.
