Second day at work I've forgotten to put my mask on immediately after removing it for lunch.
Bad ADHD, bad! We aren't out of this!

Haunting.
Phantom of the Opera Spire anyone? Jaina is once again the nerdy skeptic just can't let the ghost rumours go. She finds more than she bargained for - namely, a hot and broody elf named Sylvanas Windrunner.

I noticed while walking around with Xiao that he just — he just has his mask on?? At first I thought it was just him in his ideal animation or something and stopped to let him take it off, and even minutes later he STILL HAD IT ON. Switched with my other characters and then back to him and STILL WEARING THAT MASK. Jumped and smacked things to hopefully trigger the mask away and nope, still there.
What??? FOR WHAT REASON????

it’s kinda funny to me how that dumb scene in kiwami 1 of majima getting shot and left for dead in the harbor was basically just added as a half-assed way to explain majima not being around for a bit of the plot, but they accidentally(?) just made it seem like start of a chain reaction where majima ended up feeling slighted and heartbroken after being abandoned like that and then lashed out about it via smashing a big truck into the building kiryu was in. and yeah that isn’t inherently a romantic thing as-is but then they go and add the part where majima grabs a hostess and performatively hits on her as in-kiryu’s-face as possible, she says she’s already in love with someone, and majima lets her go immediately, no questions asked, making a big fucking point of it just to say see THAT kiryu? I appreciate when people are HONEST about their FEELINGS. people who won’t just BACKSTAB someone who CARES about them to save themselves. is that so crazy kiryu?? huh??? anyway make it up to me get down here and fight me right fucking now

The idea of Tori being a guest on Itachis ABNU team is so funny to me for some reason. Itachi should be used to having Tori as a teammate but I imagine his ABNU team respects and listens to him a lot more than Tori and Deidara do. I also like her being on Kakashis team because I like when Tori interacts with him... he somehow feels like the straight man (in the comedic sense).. the normal one...
itachi is control freak and therefore a very strict captain who does not tolerate backtalk or minor disobedience. he keeps turning to say something to tori and being like "......oh no" because he has a completely different dynamic with her and she's going to throw off the entire team. why did hokage-sama do this to him. also: they both assume it will be easy to turn off the "we are dating" act because they're "fake" but deeply unfortunately they do, in fact, like each other more than they like other people and it's Noticeable*
i imagine anbu mode!kakashi as a lot more serious than plainclothes!kakashi, but his relationship with tori is more of a sibling vibe, it's more like "my older sibling is very serious, guess i should be too" except tori doesn't have older siblings so she's like. confused
*they don't give off "in love" vibes but it's VERY obvious they know each other out of uniform lmao

When people want to lean on you for mental and emotional support and you're like, no I am a wobbly stick who is barely standing as it is, if you lean on me I will break.
You are allowed to protect your own mental heath, even if it means disappointing someone. Boundaries are good and healthy things to have and don't ever let anyone tell you different.

by the way. there's no conceivable universe in which the FTL fleet that left Earth in NtN didn't have it incredibly rough.
I've said this before, but it bears reminding: they jumped blind, using untested technology, with NO supply lines back to earth and no concrete plans for a colony. they took ships that were supposed to stack 11 billion people canned in like sardines and nothing else and stocked them full with enough resources to live on for generations and somehow found a settlement, and that was before they had to rush the schedule because John was making noise about transparency and mask their actual launch as a trial run.
it wasn't a comfortable journey. I'd be very, very surprised if the total passenger count was higher than 10k people, for space/resources allocation reasons as well as for secrecy reasons. Every person on board was a mouth to feed, and their descendants, and their descendants. I've seen some people in fandom say stuff like "Of course they'd bring along servants! Rich wouldn't do chores!" and IMO that fundamentally misses the point.
This wasn't the space equivalent of a cruise liner, or the Titanic crossing the Atlantic with first-class quarters and third-class decks. This is the space equivalent of climate refugees crammed in 500 in a tiny fishboat crossing the sea with a non-insignificant chance of dying en route, after emptying their savings to pay for the trip. The fact that the people on board the FTL ships were once insanely rich doesn't mean they travelled in comfort.
This was a desperate last-chance trip, destination "anywhere but here", chances of survival unknown. Their privilege got them on the ships, but the moment they left Earth, that privilege ceased to exist; there was no way to enforce an existing social structure. This is why, again, I think there were no luxuries on board and absolutely definitely no servants - if you're about to willingly enter into complete social collapse, you don't WANT to bring people you regard as less than yourself, knowing that they will be your equals tomorrow.
I'm still convinced that half the fleet at least didn't make it out, and those who managed to found settlements were nearly wiped out multiple times at different points in history.

One significant thing in Minecraft AU's Corrupted World is that players are transforming into mobs.
See, we've been thinking this is normally a fairly benign and gradual process: every once in a while, a small piece of data gets corrupted, and the world will borrow data from some similar object/creature nearby to replace and stabilise it. That's what happened to Jack, a very old player who's simply been around long enough to pick up a bunch of sheep and goat data. But lately, due to both the age of a world that's been running for much longer than usual and Joey's shenanigans pushing the world to its limits, the code's been getting more aggressive about what counts as "corrupted" data, and what was once just an occasional shift to stabilise errors is becoming a threat of full transformation.
Anyway, it suddenly occurred to us that when the others bring Prophet -- a player in a pumpkin mask who is mostly comprised of garbled data -- to the snowy village near their bases, where pumpkin-headed snow golems can spawn........ this transformation might happen terrifyingly fast

properly got the chance to read through the statements made by pomme dapper and ramons admins (plus admin 18s and some of the twitter update admins) and jeez i feel so bad for them but especially pommes admin. something incredibly sinister about focusing so much mistreatment on the admin who comes from the country where the union efforts are coming from while making merch of the character they played. capitalism is the enemy of creativity. whoever the people are that are removing admins without notice, theyre the ones that deserve to be removed from the project. not the egg/worker/animal admins that the whole fucking story is built on the backs of

im kinda glad i was a tiny child when windwaker came out and i only played it years later without having internet access for the longest time bc i would have NOT survived the hatred i know ww got when it first came out bc it wasnt what most people expected (ww is my fav zelda)
loving botw but not liking totk and seeing the vast majority praise the latter like its the holy grail while alot also discrediting and needlessly hating on botw for it is already making it hard to stay calm about :U
